The courtyard is beautiful. The breakfast was nice and filling.
Cons: We booked a double bedroom but as that room had some problems so the person who is handling the property gave us the twin bedroom. Even the bathroom was so small that one person couldn't even stand properly and sit on the toilet seat as there was no space to keep the legs in front of the toilet seat it was so small which troubled us a lot.

It was a clean hotel, relatively close to the main street and the square. Breakfast was available on the terrace. The staff welcomed us and provided information about the hotel and the city.
Cons: Internet and hot water were cut off during the night. The toilet seat was so narrow that it was really impossible to sit on it at one time.

The location was fairly close to the Medina.
Cons: The location was very difficult to find, and when I made the booking nowhere was it made clear that this hotel can ONLY be accessed on foot. Also, having contacted the hotel regarding check-in time I never got a response, they never advised I'd have to walk to the hotel nor did they suggest someone meet me. All in all it was a real pain, I would have rather been outside the Medina. The website states ALL rooms have a bedside sockets, there was only 1 bedside socket and it wasn't working, I couldn't get my adapter in. At first I thought this was the only socket in the room but there was a second behind the table which worked, it wasn't bedside though. The room was okay but the bathroom was not good. The shower ran straight over the shower "tray" and onto the toilet, you either had to stand up next to the toilet and catch the water stream or have a hand held shower. I couldn't redirect the shower head because the bracket was broken. Also the handle on the bathroom door was broken. The breakfast wasn't great. Twice they severed crepes with chocolate sauce and twice I had to leave it because there were dead ants in the sauce. I could forgive a single insect getting caught in a sauce, cinsidering the hot climate, but not multiple insects.

Cons: They stole my sneakers. When checking out, I accidentally left my sneakers. That's my bad and I accept responsibility for this. But I immediately emailed the hotel to let them know I had forgotten my sneakers, and I asked if I could collect them next week when I was back in Marrakesh. I sent then several messages to this effect on booking, and I emailed them. They ignored all my attempts to contact them. So basically, I forgot my sneakers and instead of doing the right thing and holding them for me (would have happily paid a fee), they ghosted me and kept the sneakers for themselves.

Everything was clean, the beds comfy, Mohammed who took care of us was a wonderful host, the breakfast was lovely, the location is great if you want to stay in the Medina. The terrace on the rooftop is really cute and nice to hang out at in the evening.
Cons: The only, literally only downside of this stay was the bathroom in our particular room (it didn't seem as though this was the case with all of the rooms) which was quite small and using the toilet felt a bit like doing yoga. It was very clean though.

A kettle in the room or tea/coffee making facilities being available will be the icing on the cake. Mohamed, the Manager of the hotel , is very efficient and helpful and has a calm temperament and engaging personality . Nothing is too much trouble for him and he ensures that all guests are treated with kindness and respect. He met us at the Jema-el-Fna drop off point and helped with our luggage, both on arrival and departure. The property is very clean and immaculately presented with a fantastic display of Moroccan tiles throughout the common areas, including the rooftop where a good breakfast is served between 8-10 am. The rooms are cleaned daily and are maintained at a high standard of neatness and cleanliness.
Cons: There is nothing that we did not like though the availability of tea/coffee making facilities would have been most welcome.

The host has been very welcoming and nice. Breakfast was good. The riad has everything you need, with a nice terrace! Location is good, as the riad is in the Medina, close to markets, restaurants and nightlife !
Cons: The road heading to the riad might be a bit concerning if you are a female solo traveller at night, as it is outside of the main roads, with almost no one on the street and sometimes a bit dark.

The host Mohammed was soo friendly and polite. He helped us a lot. Starting with paying the kids who helped us to find the Riad because we had no small money anymore. As a welcome he prepaired delicious tea. It was as delicious as the breakfast. Mohammed helped us with all our questions and we had the feeling to have a new friend in our life. Our room was nice and we slept well.
Cons: It was very difficult to find the Riad. We couldn't reach somebody via phone because the number is from the owner in France. Also via a booking message we didn't get an answer. It would be easier to let them know the arrival time before.

The accommodation is in a good location within the medina. It’s not accessible by car, but the nearest drop-off point is only about a 6-7 minute walk, so it’s manageable. The room looked just like it does in the photos. The rooftop terrace is lovely, as is the breakfast they offer. They change the towels daily and clean the room every day. I would recommend this place for people who don’t plan to spend the whole day at the accommodation, but rather use it for short breaks and overnight stays.
Cons: Communication with the host was a bit challenging since speak only a little English. The lighting in the room we stayed in could be improved, although it seemed like other rooms had better lighting. Also, one evening when it rained, no one closed the skylights and doors on the rooftop, so water ended up in the rooms, so it would be good to pay more attention to such things, a lot of water can accumulate in the room. The bathroom door is semi-transparent - not completely, but it's also quite narrow, which makes it a bit tricky to open and close. It would also be helpful to improve the clarity of information for guests, such as guidance on entering the property if the host is not there, the breakfast hours, and details on check-out procedures. Clearer instructions on these would enhance the experience.

The location is ok. I liked the cancelation policy.
Cons: I came to riad in pm, and the room was not ready. I was offered room downstairs without windows. I rejected this room. The host was angry. I requested the room with window in the upper floor long time before the arrival. The host never answered my inquiry. Later, he gave me very small room in the upper floor, and he threw my backpack in the room. The second day he helped me to call local travel agency. He was offering me overpriced day trips. I arranged my trips through getyourguide, and was very satisfied. I canceled the second stay in this hotel. He offered me again the room downstairs without window. He asked for extra money if I want a better room. The breakfast was very small and not best choices compared to other hotels. The hotel is not marked correctly in google maps. I was not able to find the property, and needed to hire a local guide to show me this place.

Mouad the 24hour receptionist was the nicest guy and so very helpful. He is extremely hard working person and really made our stay. He also assured us that the area was very safe and that made us feel more comfortable. He made us breakfast on the roof and held our luggage while we went out exploring. The room was spacious enough, cozy and clean.
Cons: There is nothing we didn’t like about the stay. Getting to the Dar was a little intimidating because it is down a long and sometimes dark narrow alley but locals and guest are moving through it and most of the places along the way are other Dars/accommodations I only mention this so others don’t get too alarmed or concerned, it’s just how the old town is set up and built.

Traditional Charm and Exceptional Hospitality We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming ryad during our visit to Marrakech, and we were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our experience. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the ryad's impeccable decor, which beautifully combined traditional Moroccan elements. Every corner seemed to tell a story, and we were immersed in the rich culture and history of Marrakech from the moment we arrived. One delightful surprise was the presence of a friendly cat (Lou lou)who added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the ryad. One of the strong points of the ryad was the hospitality. It was evident that the owners truly care about their guests' comfort and enjoyment, as Mohammed (the receptionist) went above and beyond to cater to our every need throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel like valued guests, and we appreciated the personal touches that made our visit memorable. With the breakfast and the funny conversations we felt as if we were staying at a friend's house, and not a foreign city. Our room was spacious and tastefully appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after a busy day of exploring Marrakech. We especially enjoyed spending time on the terrace, which was perfect to enjoy the weather and provided the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of mint tea. While the ryad's location was slightly off the beaten path, we found it to be a positive aspect as it allowed us to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center and retreat to some quiet roads. Navigating the narrow streets may require a bit of patience, but the tranquil setting more than made up for any inconvenience. Overall, our stay at this ryad exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic Moroccan experience. From the well-decorated interiors to the exceptional hospitality of the owners, every detail contributed to a truly unforgettable stay.

The neighbourhood itself is quiet and feels very safe, and is only one or two minutes away from the bustling and vibrant Djemaa El Fnaa Square, so you really can have it both ways: quiet and relaxed, but exciting and lively just the next street over. The host, Mohamed, is really friendly and super professional, he makes a great breakfast and is always supportive in figuring out transport, trips etc. Would definitely recommend, will come again!

The riad is newly renovated. It is located in the heart of the medina. The rooms are clean, dry, not humid or with mould. On the contrary. There is airconditioning which can be set to warm up the room. The shower water is consistently hot . The breakfast was delicious with an omlette, tea, Moroccan pancakes, butter and honey. And delicious orange juice. There is even a hair dryer in the room. They also have thick new blankets.

Ali is a lovely person who makes your stay so comfortable and ensures you feel safe and don't lack anything. He is a great asset to this place. The pictures of the place are accurate. The shower was great, the room can heat up quickly, the decor is tasteful and there is a window to the outside. I also liked the firm mattress on the bed, I prefer it like that. The breakfast was good, sufficient and on a pretty terrace.
Cons: I would recommend the owners to do something about the pillows. It wasn't a huge deal for me as I was on my own and used all the pillows but they are the softest pillows I've ever seen. Also to bear in mind it's a smaller riad with almost no sound isolating doors.

The main point to be highlited it's personel. our host was extremely nice, friendly, helpful, open and was preparing very tasty breakfast with maroccan tea in local traditional way. room was small but charming and very! clean with new towels every day.
Cons: near entry to Riad there was empty, demolished place (not because of eartquake) and it did not make me sure about safety of our Riad, but it was :)

The location of the place, nearness to Jemaa el-Fnaa and Medina of Marakech (just a few mins on foot), the host, the room, the furniture, and the breakfast were all reasons to make us have a quite pleasant stay.
Cons: The bathroom had a PVC door with smoked glass, so we had to cover it with our clothes whenever each of us was using the bathroom, so it needs to be improved. Also, although the breakfast was delicious, savory options like (cheese, olives, tomato, cucumber, or eggs) could be great cuz there were too many sweet food options. :)

The man who received us was so so friendly, he made our last evening very pleasant. We had to leave early to the airport the next day before breakfast was served, so he arranged for some food to keep in our room that evening! The room was small but that did not inconvenience us for the one night. The riad is very close to the main square but the street is quiet.
Cons: The shower was a bit grungy-looking and the sink was leaking. Other than that though, the room was alright. We had no further complaints.

It was beautiful and the owner was the best host! location was awesome and the breakfast was lovely.
Cons: It was a little confusing to find. (at least how we were coming in from the main square) We followed google maps and maps wasn’t showing the hotel where it said it was but turns out we had to turn right into a street where a pharmacy is. we asked for directions a couple times, yet still took us a while to understand. anyways, coming in from the square, following maps, go past where maps says the hotel is to the following corner and turn right, there should be a pharmacy once you turn on your right side. Then begin counting the doors, you’re going to hit a corner where you can either continue straight or turn right. you’re supposed to turn right. if you go past this corner, you’ll notice the numbers suddenly jump outta order, meaning you missed the turn. There’s like an abandoned lot next to the hotel. once you find it the first time, it’s actually quite easy to find.

The location of the Riad was good, just off the main square and pretty quiet at night. The guy who welcomed us in was lovely.
Cons: The room has no light only a very small window in the ceiling which has a large grate on it. The bed was the hardest I have ever slept on and felt more like a table than a mattress. The bathroom was ridiculous of how small and awkward it was, it completely flooded into the bedroom when taking a shower and smelled really bad. The breakfast isn't until 9am so leaving for a departure or tour means no breakfast. The guy was kind enough to put some cakes and a yogurt drink on our door the night before

Convenient location on a quite street, but just few mins walk from main square. It was nice to have breakfast included, but it could be more varied. Room was clean and shower had good water pressure and hot water.
Cons: Wi-Fi connection ist terrible, even if it shows connected, the internet either works slowly or not working at all. Communication with property is pretty much not existing, the French number given as contact number doesn't exist, also not as WhatsApp contact and whenever I called Moroccan number I found on Google no one never answered. The caretaker Ali was however helpful and nice, and kindly agreed to provide us with earlier breakfast when we needed it.

Great location, near the medina center, but tucked away from the noisy streets. Not hard to find at all if you have ever used GPS on your phone. Ali takes good care of the riad, our room and bathroom was very clean! We enjoyed breakfast served on the roof. Good value for money!
Cons: Internet was weak in our room. I would recommend making breakfast more varied with some cheese, egs, salami, etc.. Investing in proper poliester duvet instead of bedspreads would also make a huge difference.

We were delighted with this hotel. It is tiny - only four rooms, I believe - and the stairs are steep. We wouldn't hesitate to choose it again.

This place deserves a 10 for the decor, the room, the location, the excellent young man who manages the place, the cleanliness & the elegantly presented, authentic local breakfast - all just fabulous.
Cons: But.......we stayed 4 nights &, by then, I was over the ensuite in the twin room. Whoever designed & executed it needs their head read. It's so small you can't even sit squarely on the toilet (unless you're very small), the doors open into the space making it a mission to get into the shower, the basin cabinet is too big for the space & the tap is positioned so the water might just run into the basin if you are lucky........a pretty simple fix, one would have thought....

The riad is very clean, perfect location, quiet, with all the facilities you need. There is a nice terrace upstairs to sit and have the breakfast.

A beautiful place a bit away from the busy streets of the medina. It was a bit hard to find, but google maps works surprisingly well in the narrow streets. The location is central with just a few minutes walk to the big square bustling with activity in the evenings. The rooms are nice and clean and everything works as it should. The delicious breakfast is served on the roof terrace. The host is really friendly and helpful, always making sure the guests are having a good time. I definitely recommend a stay here.

Veldig flott sted å bo, man får virkelig mye for pengene!

The hotel is small but nice, we had everything we needed. Breakfast on the roof was great. However, we couldn’t find the hotel. Its location on google map is not correct and we didn’t receive any instructions from the hotel. We tried calling them, but nobody picked up. In the end, a group of local kids from Medina helped us find the place (and we had to pay quite a lot for their help). Being lost in Medina at night wasn’t a nice experience and we were really close to giving up and finding a different place to stay

This is a lovely and beautiful Moroccan Riad in the heart of Medina. You can just walk to the souks and see the main sights easily. The owner, Ali, welcomed us warmly and prepared traditional Moroccan breakfast and mint tea specifically for us every day at the time of our choice. Our room was so clean, cosy, warm and quiet. The breakfast and tea was served on the roof of the building, which was decorated by beautiful plants and had view to the old town. Ali was so friendly and helpful: he recommended restaurants to us, invited us for tea to the roof many times, and let us stay longer on our last day. I think this hotel should have 5 stars. I highly recommend this place.

The host, Ali, is amazing. Super friendly and always ready to answer questions. The riad is in a very authentic Marrakech area with narrow alleys in the old city with short distance to the souk and Jmnaa al Fnaa. The area is also very safe, there are local families living nearby and one morning we saw many of the children walking of to school. We got breakfast there and it was very good. A traditional marrocan breakfast with pancakes, bread, tea, juice, jam, honey abd butter. Ali did also give us something extra every morning. I definitly recommend this riad/hotel to everyone traveling in pairs like 2, 4 or 6. You get very much for a cheap price.

Beautiful house with all amenities (Wi-Fi, shower gel, shampoo, clean towels daily, clean bed sheets daily and housekeeping daily). The Riad is located around 5 minutes from the busy Medina, tucked away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city. Our breakfast was always cooked on time, without having to ask or enquire, thanks to Bushra. Ali was very friendly, accommodating and a genuine nice person... even allowing us to change rooms to a bigger one as the one we had initially chosen was a bit small for us. It was sad to leave, partly because of Ali's and Bushra's kindness and hospitality. The Wi-Fi was a tad slow, however this was resolved as Ali allowed us to have the dongle plugged into the mains plug in our room. I guess we were quite fortunate as we visited in July and during our stay we were the only guests in the Riad.

Small, traditional Moroccan riad. The staff is very kind and accommodating. They speak a bit of English, but it is much easier to communicate in French. The included breakfast consisted of a sweet pastry, a Moroccan version of a crèpe or pancake, fresh squeezed orange juice, bread, coffee or tea. There is also the option to add eggs which was a nice addition for 1,50 dirham. It is very clean, but a bit musty smelling--most likely due to the lack of ventilation that is common throughout Morocco. If possibly, get a room with an outside window. We stayed in the pink room. There was no window to the outside, so there was a strong, stale smell. Pins found on maps.me or google are NOT accurate in finding the place. I would recommend using their taxi service for airport or train station pick-up. Once you've found the place once you'll be able to find it again.
