We loved the Riad, our very comfortable, large, deluxe double room and a charming terrace with the family of storks overlooking it! We also truly liked the three women preparing absolutely delicious breakfast, different every day, and making sure that everything was clean and working well. Although these women spoke mainly Arabic, they communicated very well using google translate. In addition, the manager ( young female), very responsive and caring, spoke fluent English and most probably French as well. The location of the Riad, although just outside the Medina, is very good, easy to access by taxi, safe and while not too touristy, quiet close to the restaurants and main attractions.
Cons: The bathroom of our deluxe double room was very cold and the pressure of water often very low! It may not be a problem during a warmer season but was a challenge in the late November. The calling for prayer early in the morning was disturbing our sleep at first, then we got used to it!

I had a lovely stay! The riad is beautiful and very well located. It's a 15 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna square. Everything is nearby. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. They made us a wonderful breakfast every day. I had an early morning check out at 7:15 and they had a packed breakfast ready for me. Everything was lovely. The room was very big and nicely decorated. They have a heating and ac unit which was perfect for the cool late November nights.
Cons: The bed was a little bit hard for my liking but otherwise everything was great. I wasn't bothered by the 6:25a.m. Call to prayer (mentioned in the other reviews) because I brought earplugs. They had many accessories available in the bathroom (toothbrush, shower cap, comb, cotton pads, shaving kit, etc.) but no earplugs provided. I would suggest (if possible) to offer those to clients.

Great location. Near everything you wanna see in the medina, but the Riad is on the small quiet street, with multiple mini markets etc. Most amazing staff. The ladys of the house are the sweetest and make the best breakfast! ❤️ The Riad is Beautiful! And our room with our own private little terasse was the perfect place to end the days in the busy medina. I Will come back when im visiting Marrakech again! ✨❤️

Its proximity to the centre of Marrakech & the authenticity of the property which was once the owner’s family home! The staff & hotel manager were very welcoming & friendly!

The staff is very friendly and tries to help out with everything. the breakfast is good in variety and amount. The terrace is wonderful at nights too.
Cons: Their replies to my booking.com messages didnt reach me. ı had lost a day due to missing a flight so messages were important. I never received replies.

This was my 3rd time staying in this Riad and I will continue to return. The location is great as it is a safe street near one of the palaces so there are guards along the street at all times as well as a hospital at the end of the street, if needed. It is a short 10 minute walk to the square. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always amazing. As always we enjoyed the food. It is definitely worth asking them to cook lunch or dinner for your group and also the breakfast is always great, both presentation wise and quality. I will always refer anyone who asks to Riad Rose Meryam.

The place is a small haven , down a small alley, but only 20 minutes walk from the heart of Marrakesh. Quiet and peaceful, the beautiful riad looks after you. with exceptional breakfasts, and if you ask, you can get a dinner as well. the cook, and other staff are so helpful, and everything is made easy for you. stayed there twice, and if given a choice, I will stay again. The rooms have the feel of the 1920s about them :) plus there is a lovely roof terrace, to sit, watch the stars and listen to the children playing in the alley below
Cons: Very little not to like, and although the rooms could do with a bit of TLC, there is little to complain about.

Lovely staff, good location, beautiful space, calm and relaxing - gorgeous terrace. Breakfast was delicious!!
Cons: My only suggestion would be for light sleepers, as it is essentially an old home, the walls are thin and light also travels. But I expect this in a Riad and luckily our baby slept through. But this might be more challenging for others.

Was warmly welcomed. Clean room. Fruit, cakes and tea on arrival. Fantastic staff. Nice roof terrace. Good breakfast. Too little variety, and a bit too much jam and sweets for our taste, but I guess thats breakfast in Morocco :) Short walk to Jemaa El Fna. Heating in the room was comfortable on a slightly cool spring evening.

I have nothing but praise for my stay at Riad Rose Meryam. Zineb and her staff were incredibly accommodating, going out of their way to assist with every request. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and satisfying—perfect fuel for exploring the bustling, chaotic streets of Marrakech. My room was clean and well cared for, adding to the comfort of my stay. Amazing place to stay. The staff was polite and more than helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet. The building and decorations were beautiful and had a very authentic vibe. Breakfast was amazing with so many healthy choices! It was also perfectly placed near the madina, which made shopping so easy. I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit. I could not recommend this riad more!
Cons: The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't stay longer!

Very nice staff. Great breakfast and lunch. Beautiful riad in a generally quiet alley. Very nice terrace where you can chill. Close enough to the Medina that you can walk there.
Cons: Did not bother us, but in case someone wants to sleep in bring ear buds, because there is a mosque right next to the riad. The prayer calls are pretty loud 5 times a day starting from shortly after 7am to 8-9 pm in the evening.

The Riad provided everything a traveler to Marrakesh dreams of. Exceptional hospitality, stunningly designed rooms, a convenient location just a short stroll from the city center, and a charming courtyard. The owner, Zainab, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The riad is a beautiful place; typical and well located just outside the Medina of Marrakech but very close so we did everything by foot. The place is small but beautiful, the rooms are well decorated, the bathrooms are nice and clean. We had an amazing typical Moroccan diner upon our arrival. Breakfast is well served with fresh orange juice, nice Moroccan pancakes, bread, fruit, different choice of Jam, ... It can only recommend this place and would return myself. Also the place was very quiet at night. And has a nice rooftop.
Cons: Nothing, to be honest. We do not have any remarks, maybe just a small one that the contact person in the riad is not always available at sight. But for sure no major issue at all.

- authentic house, beautiful rooftop terrace - 15-20 minutes walk to the main square - police and taxi are always present in the street - housekeepers are kind - breakfast, although the same choices every day, is nicely presented and generous
Cons: - during the 4-night stay, we never saw the owners of the house. Which would not have been a problem if not the issues with hot water and electricity. The housekeepers did their best to help, but the issues were not solved throughout the entire stay. We stayed on the second floor, and we basically had no hot water for all 4 days. The last two nights, electricity was gone too. - breakfast every day the same, with the exception of a small pastry that changes every morning. - during the 4-night stay, the room was cleaned only twice. - the housekeepers are very kind and they do their best, but they speak zero English, and the conversation in French was difficult too. - I do not think the house is a real riad, as it does not have a real garden. - not possible to have a completely dark room for sleeping. - bathroom could have more hangers.

Riad Rose Meryam was beautifully furnished and rooms were really nice and cozy. Staying here was very authentic - riad is decorated in Moroccan style and the inner courtyard with fountain and beautiful black and white tiles, just gorgeous. Nice lady welcomed us with tea and cakes everyday. We communicated mainly with the landlady because other staff didn't speak English but we managed to understand each other anyway. Position was great to explore palaces and souks in the Medina. All in all we had a nice stay here!
Cons: We would maybe prefer to stay at the upper floor to have access to upper terrace and have more privacy. Would be great if there was a kettle available in rooms.

It’s a wonderful hotel and very easy to find. There’s armed guards protecting the grounds on the outside of the “kings palace.” So I felt relatively safe walking down the street early morning and night. It has easy access to public transportation and taxis. Out of the three hotel stays there in five days this was the best. Breakfast was the best one I had. I highly recommend staying here because of the convenience, knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Zineb Sebbarh was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival. I’d definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was perfect with different food for everyone. At the end everybody ate everything 😁 We ate on the terrace twice with a wonderful view of marrakesch. The place is about 10min walk from the Jamaa El-fna. We spontaneously washed our clothes for 60dh and it was no problem at all. The staff is very friendly, kind and protective. Cons: There is a mosque next to the hotel. The morning prayer is a little bit loud.

The staff was amazing and very helpful, preparing an amazing breakfast every morning. The host also gave a few good recommendations for restaurants and bars across the city. The location is ideal, literally close to everything you want to visit. The riad is so cute and my room surely provided for the local touch I was looking for. It gave a field of serenity and the terrace was a perfect spot to chill after a long day. I would definetily recommend!
Cons: No complains, only maybe I would like some better communication in advance for some additional fees that had to be paid in cash, which I only came to find out in the last day.

Where to even begin, everything was so wonderful here! First off the Riad is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious, clean, simple decor yet still authentic Moroccan, good bathrooms, and beautiful terrace. Mohamed and Zineb were super accommodating from arranging a car from the airport, having dinner made for us when we arrived (which was a delicious homemade tajine), booking us dinner reservations, recommendations for things to see and do in Marrakech, and even booking us an afternoon trip to the Agafay Desert. The breakfast was also amazing and had plenty of variety. Great wifi. Location is about a 10 minute walk to the main square and about 20 to most restaurants so although it’s a bit of a walk, the area of the Riad is very quiet and away from the craziness.

Very friendly welcome and a nice room. It's a beautiful spot , only a 5 min walk from the main square in Marrakesh. There was fresh water every day and some fruit at the beginning. And we did get quite some tea😊
Cons: If you're looking for privacy, this is not it. The rooms are very noisy and from the inside you can hear people chew breakfast right outside the windows. Also there is a mosque right next door and you will be awake every morning around 5am thanks to the very loud muezzin. As it is so bright (the curtains won't block any light) and loud, you might only be able to sleep with earplugs and a sleeping mask Also as we have learnt, it's not really a Riad, as there is no garden on the inside, just the fountain. And for this it is very expensive. Oh well... we weren't super happy as you can imagine, as for morocco it is quite expensive and therefore didn't offer much.

What a great way to start our road trip in Morocco. Zineb have a warm welcome was vary helpful all the time. The location it’s perfect to move around the Medina. It’s a place will staying again on a future trip to Marrakesh. A plus, if you have a car you can drive up to the front door, and park it on one of the several parkings close by

Zineb was an incredible hostess. Accommodated every request. Extremely attentive when we needed her and not seen when we wanted privacy. Riad has just 5 guest rooms in home of Zineb and her mom.

Authentic stay in a beautiful riad, owned by a kind and hardworking Moroccan family - Mohamed (brother) and Zineb (sister). Their housekeeper Mahima was also on top of everything, I always came home to a clean room and bathroom. I had the best homecooked meals there and got great insider trips for traveling, food, shopping and learning about life there. I also went rug shopping and their friend came with me to help me find a good rug bring back to the states (also got a deal). Unforunately I realized I had little room in my carry on luggage, but Zineb was so kind and helped me find a way to shop back. I will be visiting Morocco again, and will definitely stay with them again!

The accommodation was easy to find and only a five minute walk from the main square. Nice quiet rooftop terrace and very good service provided by the staff. We had an excellent dinner provided on the first night.

we did not enjoy our stay at this riad!the photos do not show the toilets which are a disaster! My opinion is that although the location is good the riad itself is poor and not at all worth the price we paid! You can find much better accommodation for that price!!
