l'accueil de sylvain vous fait vous sentir comme chez vous, chaleureux, rassurant et prend le temps; un petit déjeuner est offert car nous arrivons tôt, petit déjeuner fait maison, (yahourt marocain exceptionnel), tout était excellent et copieux, lors du séjour ,si besoin le petit déjeuner peut être servi plus tôt, (départ excursion etc.) pour rester sur le chapitre repas, je conseille la demi pension pour profiter des délicieux tajines d'Affida qui prépare absolument tout sur place, une vraie cordon bleu et d'une gentillesse incroyable. Gentillesse, est le mot qui caractérise toute l'équipe qui travaille a votre bien être, quelque soit le moment de la journée, des cuisines à la salle, en passant par le service de ménage. Le riad se situe dans un quartier populaire, (si vous cherchez le Marrakech moderne et bling bling passez votre chemin) au plus près de la médina et a quelques minutes à pied du souk, idéal pour une véritable immersion. C'était notre première fois au Maroc, pas la dernière et si nous retournons à Marrakech nous savons déjà où nous irons dormir. encore un immense merci à TOUTE l'équipe grâce à laquelle notre séjour fût mémorable. Nathalie et Sylvain ainsi que toute leur équipe sont très sympathiques, accueillants, de bons conseils afin de nous permettre de passer le séjour le plus agréable possible. Les excursions proposées par le gîte ont répondu à nos attentes (prestations de massages/hammam, à ne pas rater). Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, repas au Riad excellent !!! Superbe riad avec un accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, de Fatima la cuisinière qui prépare de délicieux plats, ainsi que de tout le personnel. Nous avons passé un séjour totalement déconnectant dans un cadre magnifique. Nous avons également profité d’un soin avec hammam, gommage et massage tout simplement exceptionnels. Inutile d’aller chercher ailleurs, les soins proposés ici sont d’une grande qualité. Un très bel établissement avec une magnifique terrasse pour se détendre. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Séjourner dans ce riad à Marrakech a été une véritable expérience, bien plus qu’un simple hébergement. J’avais l’habitude des hôtels internationaux, confortables mais souvent très standardisés… Ici, j’ai découvert tout autre chose. Dès l’entrée, on se sent plongé dans une atmosphère authentique et chaleureuse. Le lieu est chargé d’âme et de culture marocaine : les décorations, les matières, les détails artisanaux… Tout raconte une histoire. J’ai particulièrement été touché par certaines pièces d’art, notamment en métal, réalisé par un atelier local qui donnent au riad une identité particulière. Ce que j’ai aimé par-dessus tout, c’est cette harmonie entre tradition et modernité. Rien n’est ostentatoire, tout est fait avec goût et respect de l’esthétique marocaine. On se sent à la fois dépaysé, apaisé et inspiré. Ce riad ne ressemble pas à un hôtel classique : il a une âme. Et c’est exactement ce qui a rendu mon séjour à Marrakech encore plus mémorable. Je rajouterai,un personnel très avenant et disponible ✨

Unser Aufenthalt in Marrakesch war unglaublich beeindruckend. In nur 3,5 Tagen konnten wir dank der tollen Organisation sehr viel über Land und Leute erfahren – eine perfekte Mischung aus Entspannung, Abenteuer und kulinarischen Highlights. Bereits vor der Reise hatte ich unsere Wünsche per E-Mail geschickt, und alles wurde hervorragend umgesetzt. Nach dem reibungslosen Taxi-Transfer erwartete uns direkt ein wunderbares Frühstück mit frischem Brot und Gebäck, Obst, frischen Säften und hervorragendem Tee. Die Stadtführung war perfekt organisiert – ohne Wartezeiten konnten wir die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sehen und hatten schnell einen guten Überblick über Marrakesch. Besonders beeindruckend war auch das Wellness-Berber-Ritual mit Hammam und Massage. Ein absolutes Highlight war der Ausflug nach Agafay: Quad-Tour durch die Wüste, eine Teepause in traumhafter Landschaft, Pool und ein köstliches 3-Gänge-Barbecue in einer Zeltanlage sowie ein Kamelritt in der stillen Wüste – einfach unvergesslich. Abends konnten wir auf der Dachterrasse im Whirlpool entspannen und die ruhige Atmosphäre genießen. Obwohl die Stadt tagsüber voller Leben ist, hört man abends nur noch Hahn und Esel – herrlich friedlich.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich mit frischem Tee empfangen und haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Die Inhaber und das gesamte Team waren durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Mitten in der lebhaften Altstadt war die Unterkunft ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort zum Entspannen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Essen ausgezeichnet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

It is Quiet, tucked away in the medina with an easy walk to the centre. No sounds of traffic or mopeds, only birds in the morning. Lovely hot tubs on the roof and views of Atlas Mountains.

Cons: The little Gym equipment needs improving. There should be some seating on the top roof to sunbathe. Maybe don’t leave orange juice and fruit salad out before guests arrive for breakfast. Maybe more choice of food if Half board.

We were warmly welcomed with fresh local pastries by the lovely couple who own the riad, a lovely touch. Ysalis Riad is beautiful and we had such a comfortable stay. The room was great and spacious, the bed big and comfortable, and the shower was oh wow, the best in Morocco! We had very relaxing spa treatments and enjoyed the hot tub on the roof. I will be recommending Ysalis to anyone travelling to Marrakesh!

Amazing friendly staff who were always happy to help (shout out to Nordine who was so lovely). The room is spacious and the shower is really nice. The location is a 10 minute walk to the start of the souks so a bit out of the way but perfectly walkable and safe. We had. Great treatment at the hotel as well. We'd definitely come back to stay here.

Cons: It's a bit of a walk to restaurants unless you want to eat in the hotel (the choice isn't very extensive though). Would have liked a bit more fruit at brekkie (if I was being really picky).

We couldn’t fault the breakfast at Ysalis, it was so attractively and invitingly presented. Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and one of the nicer natural yoghurts I’ve tasted in some time. Eggs to order and good strong coffee capped the experience . The staff was so attentive and friendly it was a joy to spend as long as we did at Riad Ysalis. It is a tranquil oasis set in the Medina. The proprietors /hosts oversee a wonderful operation. Would love to return at a future date.

Es un espacio espectacular dentro del área del centro de Marrakesh. Cuando llegas te recibe una puerta inteligente que funciona con una app, luego un corredor hasta llegar al patio donde se encuentra la alberca. Te reciben con un delicioso té, para luego pasar a la habitación. La habitación es muy amplia, se nota que todo es nuevo recién hecho, la cama muy cómoda y un lindo baño separado de la regadera. La comida muy rica, un gran servicio y atención por parte de sus propietarios Silvein et Natalie, además de los chicos del staff, Norti, espero haber escrito bien tu nombre. Nos hicieron sentir como si estuviéramos de visita con la familia, hasta la propietaria se puso a jugar un juego de mesa con mi hijo de 6 años. Hermoso. Además el spa delicioso

Struttura e camere molto belle e confortevoli. Staff molto più che disponibile, Khalid, Abdul e Housni ci hanno letteralmente fatto sentire a casa nostra e hanno reso il nostro soggiorno super piacevole. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione mezza pensione e la cena che ci servivano era ogni sera diversa, con pietanze rigorosamente marocchine, ottime come anche la colazione. Posizione, il Riad é situato all'interno della Medina ma in una zona meno caotica e affollata, facilmente raggiungibile anche in macchina, e a pochi minuti di camminata dalla piazza centrale, souk e attrazioni principali.

Cons: Avremmo gradito una maggiore alternativa di proposte di esperienze da fare e una maggiore premura nella comunicazione di piccoli imprevisti, comunque agevolmente risolti.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait au Ryad Ysalis. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu la belle surprise d’être surclassés, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentillesse et très accueillants ce qui nous a immédiatement mis en confiance et rassurés. Le petit déjeuner, varié et délicieux, nous a permis de bien commencer nos journées. Tout l’équipement du ryad est parfaitement fonctionnel et de grande qualité. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les deux jacuzzis et la piscine, qui offrent des moments de détente inoubliables. La décoration du ryad, mêlant modernité et charme oriental, nous a énormément plu, aussi bien à ma copine qu’à moi. L’ambiance est paisible, élégante et chaleureuse, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du cadre marocain tout en ayant un confort moderne. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement le Ryad Ysalis à toute personne souhaitant passer un séjour à Marrakech. First of all, it's a beautiful, well maintained Riad (looks like a former palace and in better shape than other Riads i saw advertised) with moroccan decoration and comfortable facilities. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Going in July we desperately needed a pool to cool off at the end of the day, and the main patio small pool provided that (bigger than most Riad's symbolic pools. The Riad also has a rooftop floor with sunbeds and 2 jacuzzis which were a nice way to spend free time. The rooms were large and had all the amenities (they even welcomed us with flowers!), inlcuding mini bar and a very good shower room. Additionally, they offer on the premises a spa with well priced massages and traditional Hamman. Second, safety and flexibility of going in and out, via an online mobile app called Nuki that would lock and unlock the main doors of the Riad and rooms had their own lock. Also flexibility of staff to accomodate in the morning to special hours to serve breakfast or serve impromptu snacks based on our tour times or returns to the Riad. Third and most importantly, the 3 concierges and the 2 cleaning ladies/cooks were wonderful, humble and friendly people, always there to give advice/tips, serving us tea or water, towels, anything really over 7 days I stayed to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Overall, wonderful value for what I paid and despite the location, I would bet money on being a better Riad than 100s of others in the Medina! Would definitely come back!

Cons: The Riad is located on the nortwest edge of Marrakech's medina (near Bab Yakout gate), which despite being slightly quieter than the rest of the medina or free from souks, creates a 1.5-3km walk to most tourist attractions like the main square or the palaces (wasn't a problem walking). This area also is quite poor within the medina, so be prepared to see precarious conditions in the streets or beggars or street markets. We never felt unsafe walking but the first couple of days does taking some getting used to the alleyways, smells and people of this neighborhood.

Riad oli erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä. Se sijaitsi rauhallisemmalla syrjäisämmällä alueella medinassa. Tämä tosin tarkoitti illalla pitkää ja sokkeloista matkaa takaisin medinasta majoitukselle. Aamiainen oli hyvä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja huomioonottavaa.

Loved every minute of our stay. Great service from Nordine, Khalid, Abdou and the rest of the staff. Pickup service from the airport worked smoothly and without any hassle. Ce riad était spacieux et très propre. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis, avec un thé accompagné de délicieux gâteaux 🙂 et un grand sourire. Au rez-de-chaussée, une piscine invite à la détente, tandis que sur le toit, deux jacuzzis et une vaste terrasse offrent un cadre idéal pour se relaxer. Plusieurs toilettes situées à l’extérieur des chambres sont très pratiques, tout comme les chambres elles-mêmes, qui étaient confortables et bien équipées. Le petit-déjeuner était simple, mais suffisant.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel au Riad YSALIS du 7 au 12 juin. Ce lieu est un véritable havre de paix, parfaitement tenu par Nathalie & Sylvain, des hôtes attentionnés et passionnés. MILLES MERCI !!! Le riad est superbe, décoré avec goût, et tout y est pensé pour le confort et la détente. Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours disponible et bienveillant. Mention spéciale à la cuisinière qui nous a régalés avec des plats marocains savoureux, faits maison avec amour ! La piscine centrale apporte une fraîcheur bienvenue après une journée dans la médina, et les deux jacuzzis sur le toit-terrasse sont idéals pour se détendre en fin de journée. Le soir, nous avons adoré dîner sur la terrasse sous les étoiles, dans une ambiance magique. Le pigeonnier offre une vue à couper le souffle sur l’Atlas, la Koutoubia et toute la médina : un véritable moment suspendu. Le riad est situé au nord de la médina, dans une ruelle calme, loin de l’agitation des souks et de la place Jemaa el-Fna. Un vrai coin de paradis. Une adresse que nous recommandons les yeux fermés — et où nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Cons: The room was in the main courtyard so all the noise, guests passing through and talking, people sitting by the pool, everything was heard loud and clear while I was in the room. This was very disturbing. There wasn’t any sound proofing or double door entry to drown out the noise. Even the toilet window looked directly out into the courtyard, had to draw curtain perfectly to make sure no one can look inside. Very odd

Everything! Fabulous Riad - well appointed rooms kept clean and staff were extremely helpful with everything we needed including fixing the air conditioning and safe and arranging transfers. Great food - we ate the first night and breakfast was everything we needed for a day of travelling.

Cons: Nothing the only negative was the location of the riad - great to be outside of the medina and not too far but a bit of a walk back at night when the medina closed proved to be an adventure! All in the experience

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad. Everyone was super friendly and customer focused. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed an evening meal there. The Riad is a good location but a good 20 minutes walk into the centre, which wasn’t a problem. Loved the hot tub on the roof and the perfect way to unwind after exploring all day.

We loved every minute of our stay at Riad Ysalis! From the moment we met our driver at the airport we felt we were in the company of friends. The Riad is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and peaceful. A real haven in the vibrant medina. Our room was large and well furnished with every amenity we needed. We slept wonderfully, the bed was comfortable and the surroundings peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. The kind staff even arranged for an early breakfast the day we departed. While we were there we booked a Hamman and Masssge, it was amazing! The ladies who carries this out were lovely and definitely experts! All the staff at the Riad were friendly, helpful and welcoming making our stay very enjoyable. We thoroughly recommend Riad Ysalis and would not stay anywhere else while visiting Marrakech.

Riad Ysalis, our luxury sanctuary in Marrakech. We stayed for six nights and loved every minute. We were met on arrival at the airport and driven direct to the Riad. This made the journey so easy and stress free. On arrival we were greeted warmly and served tea and Moroccan bicuits which were delicious and greatly appreciated after our long journey from Scotland. We were shown to our room (thank you for the help with our bags), which was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we found the whole riad to be peaceful and serene. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room and includes fruit and delicous bread and cakes. The staff were very kind, helpful and attentive. We liked that there was always someone on duty and we were always greeted warmly after our various outings in Marrakech and further afield. We enjoyed a hamman and massage at Riad Ysalis. The ladies who delivered the treatments were lovely and definitely experts in their craft. What a memorable experience! We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the beautiful Riad Ysalis again!

Cons: Would not reccomend. Far better places for a much better price Firstly, we arrived at the riad at about 6pm, and we were given tea and biscuits upon arrival. We then expected to be shown to our room, however we waited over half an hour while he decided to busy himself with other things/ people. We asked twice if we could please go to our room and he kept making us wait. When he eventually decided to take us to our room(we booked a suite on booking.com, paid the extra) he told us we didn’t pay enough for a suite and must have a room. I showed him my booking confirmation that said ‘suite’ and he said it doesn’t matter, we didn’t pay enough money. This is absolutely ridiculous as we paid the price THEY set on booking.com for a suite. You need to sort your prices out, and not leave that on the customer. This already started us off on a bad note. Secondly, there is no hot water if you are not the first person to shower in the morning. We spoke to everyone at breakfast and they all said they had cold water too. How ridiculous. Thirdly, they do not give you a key to the riad, only to your room. This means that you have to buzz the bell everytime you want to come back in from being out. This would be fine if they answered the door! However on at least three occasions we waited over 15 minutes and buzzed numerous times, and were left in the street to wait. Other riads I have stayed at have not done this. Additionally, we asked for a fan over booking.com messages, weeks prior. They agreed and said of course they would provide one…. Of course when we asked when we arrived they said they didn’t have a fan. They said they could sort something for the next evening. We wanted a fan for some white noise . That first night was awful. It was SO noisy, so many people shouting, we could hear everyone coming in and out and the staff talking and banging doors. They provided the fan the second night, and when we went to turn it on it was broken.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Ysalis. Hassan was very attentive and ensured we had a lovely stay. Located in the Northern Medina it is around 30 minutes walk to the main square through the souks, etc. Our driver was able to drop us right outside the door and we could have taxis ordered to the door too so although not as central as some Riads it definitely had its bonuses. The Riad itself was a quiet oasis amongst the chaos of the Medina. The unheated pool is freezing but a great place to pop tired achy feet in on an evening. The rooftop was lovely and we enjoyed a soak in the hot tubs and relaxing on the sunloungers in the sunshine. It gave us chance to relax during our short trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Ysalis. If you're looking for a true local experience in a Riad within the Medina, this is it. This was our first trip to Marrakech and the staff made us feel welcomed and at ease. They took care of transportation needs, restaurant recommendations and really went over and above to ensure our stay was perfect. The entire staff is very nice and we felt like we were staying with a family. The rooms are spacious and the property is very clean. We ate at their small, intimate restaurant one night and the food was very good! I would recommend arranging taxi and transport service through them to ensure the drivers pick up and drop off right outside the door. Otherwise, most taxi's will drop you off outside of the Medina (due to the narrow alleyways) and you have to tote your luggage through the alleyways to the Riad. When Ysalis books, they take you all the way. :) We would definitely stay here again next time we stay inside the Medina. Thank you Riad Ysalis!!

As 2 women traveling without a man , the men selling in the market place were aggressive, intrusive and rude. Young men told us roads were forbidden and closed and tried to steer us in other directions and demanded money for helping us. No roads were closed. Avoid eye contact and don’t enter “stores” unless you plan on buying something. We were not physically threatened . Some sellers were ok. Others swore at us for looking and not buying. The men at the hotel were wonderful

The complementary breakfast was amazing and make sure to book a hamam and massage at the riad because it is absolutely life changing. The property is beautiful inside and surprisingly quiet from the bustle outside. The rooftop is a great spot and we would have spent more time in the Riad if snacks and drinks had been offered.

Cons: The room doors are very noisy and the banging as guests entered/exited at night was a little frustrating. The restaurant was very quiet and needed some background music to create atmosphere. Rooms were a little dark.

What a lovely place! It is a Riad, which means it is an oasis of calm, once you get inside, away from the busy souks and medinas. It is central, so easy to walk to the souks and medinas. The hotel staff can't do enough for you. The breakfast was lovely, breads, fruit salad, fruit juice and coffee. the room was lovely, large and cool. The hotel can arrange a guide to take you round,if you wish to look round with less input from the locals. They have a lovely plunge pool and two jacuzzis and sunbeds, as well as shaded areas. A great hotel.

Once you get into the Riad, especially the balcony with the eating area and the two Jacuzzis, you'd appreciate how immaculate it is. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to go an extra mile for you. Including the reception staff, housekeeping staff and the kitchen staff.

Cons: The location is not so good. My partner almost had a panic attack the night we checked in. The transport we took dropped us off at the Bab Kbour chou arch at almost 10.30pm. We had to navigate through narrow roads at night with some boys hanging around corners.

The property is so clean, tidy, authentic and beautiful. It is in a very tucked away location surrounded by locals and it was surprising to see such a beautiful Riad behind the door. It was difficult to get a taxi from the airport to the door of the hotel, some of the roads are narrow and so we had to walk a small way (it was safe but a little uncomfortable at night time). The hotel can help organising a taxi from the airport to the hotel before your stay. The property felt very safe and secure. The souks (markets) are a short 10-15 minute walk away and other trouser attractions are close to. The property gives you a full authentic experience of Marrakech. The staff were incredible, very kind and helpful and helped us organise our excursions and took very good care of us. I really recommend staying here for your time in Marrakech!

Beautiful place, we had a top apartament which we very enjoyed because it was quiet and specious. Service is outstanding. Breakfasts are very French so sweet which we didn't like, but anyway, it was tasty. Food in riad is really nice and we recommend trying it. The hotel has its own hammam and spa, so it is worth checking. We enjoyed it a lot. If you don't mind staying in the old town it is a great place! Walking distance from everything.

Excellent service on site, large rooms, very comfortable bed, very good roof terrace, averagely good food, no kettle in room, less than good location, collection arrangements from airport nit as good as they should have been. Good value, however. It do have s pool - but a) it's not heated, b) it's very small and c) it has a MAXIMUM depth of 3ft!
