Great location. Lovely room (Diamanté) and staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Ishmael, who really went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Cons: Only thing I didn’t like was the pillows were too hard and plump. Gave me neck ache.

What a find, a perfect relaxing get away. In a quite neighborhood but very close to the main centre, (5 minute walk). The owner and staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we go the most out of our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable helped by a modern air con unit. Breakfast was plentiful with Moroccan breads. All in all I would return here in a heartbeat and recommend to friends.

Average stay. Spacious room, but noisy aircon, the Wi-Fi is unusable—very slow and constantly disconnects. The pool is tiny—more like a water feature. Not in a good area of Medina. Breakfast is average.

The Riad is a sanctuary to return to after a busy day in the medina and souks. Very quiet, with only 5 rooms. The staff are fantastic, helpful and we felt so safe that we left our room key with them when we went out for the day. It’s only a short walk into the medina. Our room (Angel) had shower gel and cotton buds, a hair dryer and tea and coffee facilities and we were always given free bottles of water. Breakfast is a nice selections of breads, pancakes, yogurt and omlette on request. We would recommend this riad to anyone.

My husband and I had a heavenly few days staying at the Riad 58 Blu. It is such a peaceful oasis in the heart of the medina in Marrakech and instantly relaxing. Our room (Emerald) was spacious and very comfortably laid out, with lovely attention to detail. Breakfasts on the 2nd floor were a real treat each morning, especially when Raja the pet tortoise was there to greet us - simple but enough to start the day and the freshly squeezed orange juice was to die for. Youssef, Ismail and Paulo were so warm and welcoming and big credits also go to the cleaning and catering team, not to be forgotten! Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main sights and a plunge pool to dip into at the end of hot days in the souks. Highly recommended.

Great Riad in the old town. We landed late and Ismail had arranged for a taxi to collect us- also arranged a taxi for the day we departed - all included in our booking. Our room was nice and spacious for 3 and was spotless. Breakfast was served every morning on the terrace which was lovely. Tea/ coffee, fresh orange juice, bread , cheese, omelette, pancakes and Nutella. Ismail was very helpful with suggestions on what to do in Marrakech - places to visit , restaurants and what we should expect to pay for taxis etc. The plunge pool was a welcome sight and a great place to cool down after exploring the city in 40 + degrees heat. I would recommend a stay here for any visitors to Marrakech.

This Riad is in a great location, close to the main square (15 minutes walk away) . It's a hidden gem down an alley. The staff are very friendly and professional. Ismael was so good with tips, recommendations and arranged a taxi from the airport and again when we were leaving. He even offered to walk us to a meeting point when we had an early pick up to do a hot air balloon trip over the desert. It gets quite hot in Marrakech so having a pool to cool down in was really great after walking around the Medina. The Riad is very clean and comfortable.

Ismail was super friendly and full of tips and recommendations. He organised a transfer to and from the Riad at either end of our stay free of charge. We booked a large room with a double and single bed as 3 of us. It was spacious and clean with breakfast served on the rooftop terrace. Watch out for Raja their pet tortoise. Beautiful Riad located 15 minutes walk from the main square. As 3 women we felt safe wandering around. A dip in the pool was a welcome treat returning from our trips exploring the souks and the Medina.

I had the pleasure of staying here twice during my vacation. A beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina offering an authentic feel. On my first day a member of staff told me the riad is not a regular hotel where guests stay in their rooms, it is a home where people can relax and socialize while feeling at ease. It truly felt this way. Thank you for making my Vacation in Morocco so memorable.

Just got back from a 4 night stay in this beautiful Riad. Nothing was too much trouble for Ishmael, he came and met us when we arrived which we were so grateful for as when you first turn up in Marrakech it is very overwhelming due to traffic with mopeds and tuktuks everywhere and the surrounding area is quite run down which is normal for Marrakech, but don’t let it put you off. The Riad is so peaceful, beautiful and authentic. Breakfast was good and set us up for day. Great location for exploring the medina, souks and surrounding area.

We really enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The riad itself is beautiful. It is small so feels homely, with a beautiful terrace and plunge pool area. The breakfast was delicious. We had a few early day trips booked but Ismail and Yousef kindly catered to this by providing breakfast before the usual hours. Both of these members of staff were absolutely fantastic, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and giving recommendations to avoid scams/ advising things to see. The riad is also located in a great location so we could easily walk to all the sites! Thank you so much!

Lovely Riad bordering the old Medina, so allowing easy access to the hustle and bustle of the old city, but far enough for it to be quiet at night. The Riad is beautifully decorated and charming with a good breakfast. Ismael is full of energy and extremely helpful organising activities and taxis

Private transfer dropped us at the end of the alley and Paolo met us after a short wait in the car. He was very helpful, showed us a map, checked us in- and brought water and mint tea after we asked. The room itself (Gold) was lively, spacious, bright and airy, but the Riad is too noisy. Scraping of chairs every morning on tbe rooftop/terrace, the door buzzer at night as it's the only way to get in, and we could hear every word everyone said morning and night. We had breakfast one morning, it was pure sugary goods, and we were advised the gas had just gone so he had to change it- we had asked the times of breakfast and was told to go up whenever we wanted. It wasn't something I would eat again, we only had breakfast once in the 4 mornings we were there. The tv didn't work properly, even Paolo struggled to use it when we arrived. We also weren't informed about cleaning or check out times, and the staff were hard to find at most times. They are very, very helpful when you do see them, but we would prefer a more formal/organised set up. On checkout, we were given the city tax bill, paid and waited for change- and the member of staff didn't have any change to give us, this is very hard to believe for a fully functioning business. He tried to give us 2 American dollar bills, knowing we are from the UK and these would not be of any use to us, so we left them with him. It is part of the experience, very well located, but definitely more of a UK 'B&B' set up than a hotel. The pool wasn't big enough to get in and the area is a bit too close for comfort so we didn't try it.

My partner and I stayed in this beautiful riad for 7 nights and had an amazing time. Riad 58 Blu is tucked away down an alley about a 10 minute walk away from the main square and a 2 minute walk away from a taxi/pick up point and convenience stores. It’s perfectly situated to get away from the Marrakech madness after a day walking round the medina. We stayed on the top floor in the blue Angel room and we were served a delicious Moroccan breakfast every morning just outside our room on the veranda by the riads’s cheery staff. They were all amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. (Even popping out to get us coca-cola when we couldn’t find an open shop🙈❤️). We booked with easyJet and were met up by the riad staff at the pick up point so didn’t have the worry of finding the riad in the dark. Our room, although small, was perfect for our needs. The shower worked well, tea and coffee making facilities were provided and the bed was comfortable. The staff are what make this riad special, all of them are so helpful and appear happy in their work. We briefly saw the owner as we were going out for the day. If we were ever to visit Marrakech again we would not hesitate to book this riad. We feel we had a proper Moroccan experience and I intend to recommend it to any friends who are considering a holiday in this mind-blowing city. Thankyou Riad 58 Blu for making our holiday special 🇲🇦❤️

This traditional Riad is tucked away in a quiet part of town just away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. There are just 5 individual rooms split over 3 floors. Our room on the ground floor was clean comfortable and spacious. Our hosts Omar and Smile looked after us. We were on half board special thanks to the cook and Smile who served us lovely home cooked meals on the terrace. Our only comment would be on the breakfast which was the same each day with no options. However this did not spoil our wonderful break in this beautiful Riad. 4.5/5

It's a cliched phrase, but a 'home away from home' is what this riad was for us. It was our first visit to Marrakech and we were made so welcome, so comfortable and so well cared for that we simply loved our visit. Ismael runs the riad and is one of the loveliest people you could hope to meet. He treated us like family right from the start. None of the other riads we stayed in during our trip came anywhere close to the hospitality we got from Ismael. Communication with Paolo before our arrival was efficient and very helpful. He organized our tours, transport and extra meal requests very well. You will not go wrong staying in this comfortable riad with Ismael and Paolo taking care of you.

We stayed for five nights in February 2025 – writing this from the airport on our way home. The riad strikes a perfect balance: close enough to the main square to walk yet tucked away to ensure quiet, peaceful nights. Security is never a concern; we always felt safe. Our room was immaculate on arrival and maintained daily. We enjoyed the pancake breakfast each morning, complete with the gentle chirp of birds, and evenings were cool and dark, with air conditioning available if required. The highlight is the staff – Ismail, Ikram, Hamila, and Omar. From the moment we arrived, Ismail’s warm welcome – noting our weariness – set the tone, and his hospitality remained constant. I’ll miss being called “Ali Baba” tomorrow! Conversations over breakfast with guests from around the globe added to the charm. A superb retreat after a hectic Marrakchi day.

I booked a few nights in Marrakech as a birthday surprise for my wife & chose 58 Blu based on reviews here. I can only echo these positive views & say that hands-down, this was one of the best stays we’ve experienced anywhere. 58 Blu is a lovely small Riad in the south of the medina & within easy walking distance from Jma el Fnaa & all the souks etc. We had the cosy/traditional blue room just below the roof terrace, but what really makes this place is the generosity & hospitality of the hosts. A special mention has to go to Ismael who was so kind to both of us during our stay & treated my wife to flowers & a cake on her birthday (& thanks for the Gnawa cd!). The ladies who prepared our breakfast every day were smiley & lovely and Youssef was super-friendly & especially helpful with our return transfer. If/when we ever return to Marrakech, we will definitely be staying at 58 Blu.

Close to all of the sites of old town but in a peaceful and quiet location. Room was big and comfortable, very clean, fresh towels and a relaxing place to be after a busy day walking the souk and busy squares. Lovely rooftop view. Staff, especially Ismail, were so helpful and friendly, giving us a map and suggested places of interest. Ismail also walked us to get to our pick up point for a balloon ride at about 6am in the morning even though it was freezing cold. His advice on where to eat was spot on too. Riad close to restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

As with most Riads, this gem is stuck down an unassuming back alley, but what a place this is. Only 5 rooms so it feels intimate, and Ismail the host could not be a better example of how to really run a place properly. He really couldn’t do enough for you and is extremely kind and funny. The Riad is in the perfect location, seconds from some great restaurants and less than a 10 min stroll to the Market. That alone would bring me back, but Ismail was the icing on the cake. Cons: Ismail the host is simply the best

After walking in Medina or teking a tour to Atlas mountains one could cool down in small pool.

Extremely friendly and helpful in everything. Nothing too much trouble, ask and you will get... except for when they ran out of beer and white wine. The riad very close to everything for walking to the square, souks, palace etc. Our downside was the noise, we were on ground floor, a lovely room, but heard every noise from people above us as the floors are tiled you can hear everything and in the other rooms because it echoes everywhere. You wait for the final lock on the main front door so we knew everyone was back.! Then, the mosquito comes back!! It was usually about after 3pm we got to sleep, then woken up by the cleaners about 7.30. 😕 There is the Lovely sun terrace, and a terrace for eating or a bit of chill time with a beer or wine. The front door was just round the corner from us so heard all the comings and goings even very late at night and early morning for people going to hot air balloon flights, we had a mosquito in our room which was annoying, most nights didn't get to sleep till after 2pm. Breakfast was boring and the same each time..too much bread for us. The cat bit my hand at breakfast! wouldn't leave us alone. Felt exhausted after our 4 night break and just wanted to get back to my own bed.

Location of riad was perfect, central medina in short walking distance to main attractions. Smiley, as he requested to be named, was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. As an example, Smiley insisted we were served breakfast at 630am on our last day before he escorted us to our complimentary cab to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom very smart with nice little finishing touches of toiletries. We wanted to ship the superking mattress home with us! We wouldn't hesitate to rebook if back in Marrakech.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Recommendation for Pepe Nero was brilliant, amazing restaurant.

Cons: Big gap in old wooden doors, didn’t feel very private. A tradesperson fixing air conditioning had been smoking in the room.

This is a gorgeous Riad within a few minutes of the busy streets of the medina, and at the same time secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful. The property is very stylish, clean and also modern and traditional at the same time. Our host, Ismail, was a delight. He has this dynamic and friendly energy that makes you smile. We definitely recommend this hotel.

It was an authentic Riad guesthouse in an authentic neighbourhood. The staff Ismail and Yousif were both superb in the way they handled my needs over 7 days of my stay at the Riad. The backroom staff were also great in keeping the place clean, preparing breakfast and general housekeeping.

Cons: There was nothing that was objectionable.

Excellent excellent service, beautiful property, great location near the main square yet still quiet. Communications leading up to the stay were responsive and helpful. We had a small hiccup with the room type (booked for two beds but only one was made) and the riad was quick to resolve upon arrival. My companion was also feeling a bit unwell, and they graciously ran out to get some bread to settle the stomach. Thank you Ismail and Paolo!

I had an exceptional stay at the local riad during my 3-day trip to Marrakesh. Its strategic location offered a shorter walking distance to main attractions like Jemaa el-Fna, and a conveniently close taxi point. The presence of local grocery stores and dining options nearby added to the convenience. Ismail, our dedicated host, went above and beyond in making our stay memorable. His genuine hospitality, especially towards our 8-month-old baby, made us feel truly cared for. The overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this riad for its excellent service and prime location.

Our stay at Riad 58 Blu was perfect! It's location inside the medina made walking to many of the places that we wanted to visit easy. We appreciated the AC in the middle of the hot days. Our host Ismail was amazing! He gave practical advice about getting around, and was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. He served us a delicious breakfast on the rooftop each morning, and the evening dinners were a nice surprise, and the perfect way to end a busy day. The airport transfers made travel days easier. I would not hesitate to recommend Riad 58 Blu!

this is an authentic property if you want to live and enjoy everything the medina has to offer. the rooms are large and clean. the staff are as helpful as any 5* luxury hotel in the world. Youseff was a fantastic host and couldn’t do enough for us, as well as engaging in intelligent conversation, we feel we left there making a friend. I

Cons: the design of a Riad means the communal areas can echo when other less thoughtful guests decide to have loud conversations.

We booked last minute in the hope to get a good deal for a riad. The riad is nice, it has potential, but have to stay it feels dated - especially the bedroom. Ismael is a good guy and very dedicated, he can be a bit bossy but also very helpful. Good place if you only need a couple of nights

Cons: It feels a bit dated. It would make a big difference if they changed some furniture and the quilts and cushions. The common areas are very nice

The receptionist ‘Ismael’ was great host and explained every thing about Marrakech , hotel and area for us , very nice and cheerful person . The hotel itself , the room and the facilities of the room great and beautiful . Cleaning was spotless no dust and no dirt anywhere at all.

Cons: Straight forward one issue and it was breakfast , we stayed there for two nights and first day breakfast was okayish , but second day was very poor. I would recommend if someone likes to have appropriate breakfast or Marrakesh one to reserve the room without breakfast.

The location in the old Medina is great being very close to the main square. Short 10 min walk. Area is safe and small shop and restaurant lined route is straightforward . Only 5 rooms, but with very attentive & helpful management and staff. Breakfast is good and reasonably varied, and it was a pleasure to enjoy the early winter sun on the top terrace. Perhaps a little more fruit would appreciated by some. Staff arranged taxis very efficiently if needed. Pickup from airport was very efficient & included in the 3 night room price. Overall good value and an extremely enjoyable stay. Will stay again if we get another chance to visit Marrakesh. Well Recommended.

Ismael made our stay a memorable one in Marrakech. I was travelling with my Mother and he made sure to have a fruit for her with breakfast and to look after her. I told him on day 1 that it was gonna be my birthday during my stay at the Riad and he recommended a great restaurant. On our way back from dinner, he surprised us with a birthday cake that we shared with all the guest at the riad, we had a little dance party. He made that night special for me, home away from home. Thank you for all you did and looking out for us.

We ended up booking our stay at Riad 58 Blu very last minute (we were supposed to be staying in a hostel but came down with dreaded food poisoning) we needed a haven to stay in whilst we recovered and Riad 58 Blu was indeed that. The size of the room and bathroom was amazing. The staff were phenomenal and made sure we were okay. Ismael specifically was wonderful! He checked in with us a few times to make sure we were okay and even organised food from Paolo's restaurant when it was too hot to go out. The place was quiet and there weren't many guests (which was nice as we needed it!). He even arranged for a free transfer to the airport early morning and organised an early breaky for us before we left. They even organised for us to check in early as we needed to sleep off the illness. The location of the Riad is a bit further out of the main square but this was actually good to be in a bit more quiet, near to the Bahia Palace too which was awesome! I can't rate Riad 58 Blu highly enough. Ismael also organised a little surprise gift for my partners birthday which was really special ❤️

I stayed at Riad 58 Blu with my partner for 5 days and absolutely loved it. Firstly our pick up from the airport was there on time by the time we arrived into Marrakech airport. Then the on-site manager (Ishmael) greeted us upon our arrival. Ishmael’s hospitality really elevated the whole trip. He was super friendly, and as it was our first time visiting Marrakech he had plenty of advice and tips to share. Not to mention he was very attentive and remembered our breakfast preferences. Also a tip from me, do have a dinner here, especially if Ishmael is cooking his chicken tagine. Easily one of the best tagines I’ve ever had.

Riad 58 Blu was far and away the best place I stayed in Morocco! The Riad was beautiful, clean, and located in the perfect location for exploring Marrakech. Being inside the Medina area made everything close at hand, while only being a short walk away from all the amenities of the new city. It was a very quiet and secure space nested within the hustle and bustle of Medina life. Paolo the owner was friendly, personable, and gracious throughout my stay. Ismael, the onsite manager, was friendly and helpful with recommendations on local activities and experiences. I travelled through all the major cities in Morocco during a month of travel, and then I found Riad Blu. It was such a perfect location I decided to slow down and relax, and extended my stay for two more weeks.

The look of this Riad is wonderful. Walking through the streets of the old city you wonder how the houses look from the inside and this one shows it beautifully. We originally chose a room on the roof but it was way too hot and the AC wasn’t keeping it warm. The staff were amazing and they moved us to the room on the ground floor which was really wonderful for them to do at 1am. Saeed (Riad staff) was there for us whenever we needed anything at all. He was amazing and I think I found a friend I will always call when I am in Marrakech. Very cute breakfast on the roof top terrace which they make for you whenever you want it in the morning. Really good to know you can get up early or lay in and relax. It was my wife’s birthday so the provided us with a free service of airport pick up and drop off too. Wonderful place definitely recommend you stay here if you are a couple looking to experience the old city.

Could not communicate with staff before our trip. We sent a couple of emails, one email a few weeks before the trip and did not received a reply back and it was with regards to the airport transfers. We had to contact Expedia to help. Although we did expect the kind of breakfast they have in advanced through reviews, we did not expect to have the exact same thing every morning and the first couple of breakfast we were basically short changed as we were served the "omelette" for one person as opposed to two people.

As everyone says Riad Blu 58 is a wonderful place to stay. It is clean, calm and conveniently situated in the busy Medina. Paolo works really hard to make his guests feel welcome and treasured; nothing is too much trouble. Transfers to and from the airport were arranged as were trips out. Tucked within the maze of alleys in the crazy and hectic, yet beautiful Medina is Riad 58 Blu, a peaceful and well designed guesthouse with the kindest, most generous staff. Breakfast is basic but good, different types of breads with spreads, best enjoyed with Ismael’s olive oil omelette. The rooms are decorated in an ancient Moroccan style, bed is comfortable, though the television could be bigger and I wish they had at least one english channel. What stood out the most is the staff, Ismael, Ikram and Mohammed, for they’re the most accomodating people I’ve ever met. Mohammed showed us the best restaurants and booked us our tours, he even drove me to the spice market even though it was raining just so I could do my last minute spice shopping. This riad is a second home. Will surely be back.

The staff at Riad 58 Blu were super helpful and the place itself is absolutely beautiful. Quiet and private, the courtyard that the rooms all look into is stunning. Everywhere is decorated in gorgeous tiles, exquisite Moorish carving, plants and gorgeous details. All you hear are birdsong, the water running in the lovely plunge pool and the mosque call from beyond in the Medina. Breakfast is brought to you on the beautiful roof terrace. Beds are comfortable and help is always at hand but not intrusive. Absolutely recommend this. Very special.
