Verder alles goed!

The staff here were exceptional. The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the heating/cooling worked perfectly. We stayed here four nights and were pleasantly surprised with the room clean every day which was done meticulously and to a high standard. The Moroccan-style breakfast varied everyday and we were treated to daily mint tea which was exceptional. We loved every minute of it - highly recommend!
Cons: Nothing but just to be aware, the Riad only accepts payment of the city taxes in cash!

We arrived to the property via their airport transfer and luckily we did because I can imagine without the guide to transport your bags to the riad you could quite easily get lost in the maze of alleyways. The hosts were attentive and friendly, shout out to Amina for looking after our needs during the day and especially Aziz who often brought us little gifts and treats to try in the evenings which was a little unexpected bonus. The bathroom room was large so both of us could get ready at the same time and the bedroom gave a proper Moroccan vibe so you knew exactly where you were. The rooms were very dark as not much sunlight can enter but this worked wonders as you can have a good night sleep after a day full of adventure. The main square is just a 6 minute walk and once you follow the instructions from the staff on day 1 itâs easy to remember your way back. Me and Shiela loved our stay here and we will forever share special memories of this place so thank you very much.

Lovely little Riad, only 2 streets back from one of the main thoroughfares in the medina, and close to Sandwich Street! The staff were so nice and friendly. The property was exceptionally clean. The bed was the comfiest I had slept in for months! Would highly recommend using their hammam facilities; the hammam experience was one of the highlights of my trip.

Myself and my partner had the loveliest stay at this riad in Marrakesh. The whole place has this cute, intimate charmânothing flashy, just beautifully put together with so much character. Unforgettable adventure. What stood out most was the atmosphere. Itâs cozy in a way that makes you instantly relax, as if the building itself is giving you a gentle hug after a long day wandering the medina. The staff were genuinely welcoming, not just politeâwarm, friendly, and happy to help with anything without ever feeling overbearing. Massive thank you to Aziz, who helped us with so much during our trip and made the whole experience so special to myself and my partner. The whole team are incredible. Every corner of the riad had a touch of personality, from the soft lighting to the little dĂ©cor details that made it feel more like a home than a hotel. Itâs the kind of place where you find yourself lingering in the courtyard or on the rooftop just to take it all in. If you want a stay that feels intimate, comfortable, and full of heart, this is absolutely the spot. Iâd go back in a heartbeat.

I loved the Moroccan furniture and architecture. It gave a traditional vibe. Host was really nice and let us check in early. The bed was comfortable. We LOVED the welcome mint tea! The riad is in the medina so its possible to get food and shopping within a 10min walk. This place is a 10/10 and I would refer others and stay here again myself.
Cons: I liked everything. I will say that this was our first time in a medina so initially we got lost in the maze and we were also unprepared for the aggressiveness of the vendors/panhandlers...but, by the 2nd time we went out, we were catching on to the "rules". This really has nothing to do with the Riaf or host, just the location.

Location wise, it was close to the souks and the main square. The riad felt like a haven, where we could relax in the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast each morning was delicious and varied. We had hammam and massage during our stay which was amazing. Aziz made us feel very welcome from the moment of our arrival, and provided a first class service answering any questions we had. Would fully recommend staying at riad dar yema.
Cons: Nothing at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Super cute guest house about 6min walk to the main square. The room was comfortable and with an AC. A traditional breakfast is included. They also prepared a to go package for us on a day where we left super early which was really nice. The staff were lovely! Very friendly and helpful- they helped us with washing our clothes and didn't charge us for that. There is someone there 24/7 so there is no problem to check in late at night. Would highly recommend!
Cons: The only thing I'll mention is that you'll need to pay for the full stay in cash or bank transfer (Booking doesn't process the payment). Not a problem at all but just be aware so you can plan in advance.

Accogliente e tranquillo in pieno stile marocchino.

To start the location of the riad was perfect we were less than a 10 minute walk to Jemma El Fenna and there was a corner shop nearby to get toiletries and food/snacks. The riad served breakfast every morning prepared by Aziz and Ameena and it allowed us to start our day with a great variety of traditional morrocan food. This was a perfect way to kick off our day of walking around the souq. We also really like to highlight the hospitality shown to us by Aziz even up to the last evening before we left! He was highly knowledgeable and provided us a lot of guidance on how to get around and recommendations of places to visit. We would definitely come back and stay here if we visited marrakech again.
Cons: Regarding the room there were 2 issues that we had. The first was the fact the bedroom light was a bit dim and we had to leave the toilet light on as well to improve the brightness. Secondly, the shower pressure could be improved, at least when running the cold water.

Gracias.

Beautiful little spot in the heart of the Medina. Went above and beyond for dietary requirements, providing gluten free pastries. Incredible staff who were very helpful and kind. The Hammam and Massage is absolutely fabulous, highly recommend! (With a friend, unsure if I'd do it by myself). Very fast responses to queries online before and during the stay. I wish I'd gone up to the roof as it looked beautiful, but sore legs after hiking! They gifted us a kit of facial care stuff when leaving, a lovely last touch. And the bathroom provides nice toiletries (good for light travellers!). Great aircon as well. Would definitely stay again!
Cons: I feel the swimming pool should probably be renamed, it's more so a pond in the centre of a lot of tables! Shower pressure was low.

The riad itself is very cute and well decorated! it's so different from the streets of marrakesh. The old men was very friendly, helped with lugguages and always has a smile on his face.
Cons: The main staff could have been friendlier. The breakfast should have some meat; it was mainly carbs. Also the breakfast was the same over different days. The transfer organised by the riad was alright; however, after arriving at the airport, the chauffer asked for extra 200 MAD, even though I have paid at the Riad and have confirmed there are no extra fees. Saying things like "chauffer" "driving", which left a sour taste. Hammam was barely 30 minutes instead of the promised hour, they just poured water over my friend's head without actually washing it after. The location of the riad is also a bit secluded so it's a bit scary when we go back in the evening.

There has been a lot of thought put into the design and finish of the decor, and the riad is finished to a high standard, and living up to the photos. It's a wonderful place to escape the noise of the medina and recharge.
Cons: If you are a first time traveller to the backstreets of the Medina. the approach to the riad can seem intimidating. In reality its all in your head, and it leads to a very quiet location and opens into this wonderful peaceful riad away from the endless noise of main streets.

We ended up at Riad Dar Yema unexpectedly after our flight was cancelled late at night â exhausted, frustrated, and honestly not in the best mood. Despite that, Aziz welcomed us with incredible kindness and patience, helped us calm down, and made us feel safe and cared for. He even offered us breakfast the next morning, although we hadnât booked it. That small gesture meant a lot after a chaotic travel day. The Riad itself is quiet, clean, and charming â the perfect place to reset. We didnât get to say goodbye to Aziz before leaving, but we truly appreciated his warmth. Thank you for your hospitality â we wonât forget it.

Great breakfast, nice location (but it has some issues) and a very helpful staff. The Riad is beautiful and has a good value for your money.
Cons: It is well-located, in the heart of the Medina, but the problem is also that it is in the heart of the Medina. Let me explain this contradiction: for a young couple it is ok to stay at the Riad because it is near everything in the Medina and you get used to all the noise and crowds that makes the Medina such a special place. But it is not easy to reach carrying bags and I wouldn't recommend it to older couples or families with toddlers. Otherwise, it is an incredible place and it was a terrific stay for us.

We arrived to Marrakech late night and arranged our transfer with Riad. Our driver contacted us few hours before our arrival although Riad mentioned that we would be contacted a day before. Despite the fact, our transfer to Riad was smooth. Upon arrival, we were served with hot mint tea and cookies in the midnight. Our room was in the ground floor, where they serve breakfast but other guests were respecting our guests as there were no noise in the morning. Our room in ground floor was dark but comfortable. It is almost not possible to find a Riad where your room is so bright and taking day light. We could lock our room while going out. Breakfast was the best with lot of varieties we would expect ever in Morocco. Ladies working at the riad were kind and smiling all the time. We were asked many times if we need something. Riad is located in Medina which is 10 min walking distance to Jemaa el-Fna. We didn't feel unsecure while going back to Riad in the nights. On our last day during checkout, we requested Riad to keep our luggage for a day as we had a trip to Essaouira. Without any hesitation, they accepted to keep them. When we arrived back after a day, we got our luggage back. A lady gifted me traditional Moroccan facial products on the last day. We would highly recommend.
Cons: The only disadvantage is ordering or finding taxi during the day/night time ourself, when the traffic is not allowed, it was difficult as we need to walk to Koutoubia around 15-20min.

Lovely Riad and great staff. The atmosphere is very calm and serene and I felt we were well looked after. The location is a bit out of the way and if unfamiliar with how busy Marrakech this can make you nervous. Once you find it and get more familiar with the location however you notice it's fine. The staff were also active on this site and answered any questions I had in advance. One thing that might put some people off is that there is a key to borrow if you want to stay out late, you won't get your own access. On the one hand this creates a quiet atmosphere as people won't be coming in at all hours, on the other I'm not sure what happens if more than one person has taken the key? The staff said they'd be around all night so I imagine it would be fine but felt it important to note. Lastly the breakfast was brilliant in our eyes. Pancakes, fruits, coffee and constantly asked if we wanted more. Highly recommend.

I liked my room, very comfortable bed, good linen, excellent hot shower too. Very clean everywhere. The location was near the souk & the main square- it felt alive with everything happening. When I sat on the lovely roof terrace to enjoy the sunshine, it was very peaceful, just heard the birds chirping. The best thing at this lovely Riad- are the Staff. Aziz provided me with an I phone charger as I had bought the wrong one. Ben helped resolve a transport issue. The Staff are All professional, friendly & caring, they want you to enjoy Marrakech & the tranquility at the Riad. I chose Riad dar Yema because of the consistently high ratings from other guests- just take the time to read them. The breakfasts were varied & sometimes too much- but they set you up for the morning. The local riads work closely with Salah & his brother to provide taxi transfers, which works well & doesnât take long from the airport. Thank you all.

Cannot say enough about our stay here! Easy pick up from airport with a friendly driver to a wonderful welcome of tea and biscuits. The riad was so beautiful, clean and cared for, with the absolute MOST comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept on! Very easy and direct walk to the square and even the few nights we walked back on the late side, felt completely safe on the smaller streets. The location was perfect! So easy to stop back quickly to change clothes, shower or get away from the bustle and relax on the rooftop terrace for a few hours between activities. At night incredibly quiet and peaceful and we were usually woken in the morning by the light chirping of birds. Truly idyllic in the midst of such a bustling city! The staff were so kind and considerate. The perfect place to stay for our first few nights (and first time) in Morocco. We hope to visit again someday!

The breakfast here was lovely. The location was very good, once you were able to find your way around. The staff were hospitable and helpful. Always pleasant and helpful.
Cons: We thought the Riad we had book came with breakfast, one of the reasons we booked was for the price (which originally included breakfast) and the location. Half way through our holiday we were told that we had not pre-booked breakfast so had to pay extras for breakfast. Everything had to be paid in cash, which was awkward we could not see why we were not allowed to pay by card. Furthermore, the totalling of our bill was very last minute and left us having to run to the bank to obtain cash prior to our leaving, which was at great inconvenience to ourselves. Finally, the Riad advertised on the website that the room had tea/coffee facilities - ours did not.

Great location in the centre of the Medina only a couple of minutes walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa. Lovely Riad with a pretty courtyard and a haven from the souke which could at times be a little overwhelming. The staff are amazing. Very welcoming, always there to help or provide fresh mint tea. Outstanding breakfast with a lot of variety and no shortage of food! Fresh omelettes and avocado was welcome for us. And cake and pancakes for those with a sweet tooth. We had our first hammam and massage at the Riad. A private room for just our party and so it was a very relaxing and reviving experience. We also had dinner there one night after the hammam. Again really excellent quality food. We would not hesitate to return.
Cons: My husband found the beds marginally hard. It was fine for me and great pillows so really a very small point.

Once we managed to find the place, we were received by the extremely friendly and helpful hosts. The Riad is a beautiful haven of peace in the busy Medina of Marrakech. It takes 5-10 minutes to reach Djemma-el-Fnaa by food and there are quite some services around (restaurants, shops, pharmacy). The room was very clean and is cleaned daily unless you tell them not to. The copious continental-style breakfast is nice, especially if you are on the sweet side. If not you can order eggs on request. There is a roof top terrace with sunbeds. Air-conditioning and Wifi are available.
Cons: Like many other Riads, it is not reachable by taxi, so you have to find your way through the small streets of the Darbachi neighborhood and not fall for guys or kids that want to show you the way if you are not able or ready to tip them afterwards. It's a pity that the services proposed by the Riad (taxi, massage, tours) are overpriced. They should at least be competitive with offers available through platforms like Booking. Also, I would prefer to have prices in Dirham, as the payment is demanded in cash.

I loved everything about this property! Super clean, beds and pillows super comfortable!
Cons: I really loved everything about the property, but I do have to say, if youâre a solo travel, I feel like the gentleman working the riad was upset about me being out late. He allowed me to take the key to the riad since he said that nobody would be there to open the door at 12 am, but when I went out the next day with some friends that I made, he told me that I shouldnât be going out with them, that they were bad people (which they werenât), and seemed annoyed with me that I was leaving to go out late again. He didnât give me the key the second night. He also didnât want to help my friends by telling me that they were waiting outside for me. He told them I was asleep when I was awake getting ready to meet them. Really weird, Other than that, he was super helpful with breakfast and everything else

The riad was beautiful and quiet. You wouldn't even guess that there were other people staying in the same riad. It was very convenient as well in terms of where it's located. Aziz went above and beyond and catered to our needs. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made every morning. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are going to be out and about during the day but want to relax when you come back.
Cons: There are some people who say they are a part of the riad and for you to tip them outside. Don't pay attention to them and ignore them!

Staffed 24/7 so door is always manned. On first impression the area looks unsafe, but actually we had no problems at all. All the locals were genuinely friendly and you really feel like you are in a historic setting living with the locals.

The staff was wonderful, kind and helpful in meeting our every request, from organising transfers to preparing tea even late at night. The room was spacious and always spotlessly clean, the common areas provided by the riad were also beautiful, such as the panoramic terrace and the reading room. The owner was always ready to give us tips for visiting the city and for our safety during the tours. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, the staff is super helpful even to prepare it outside the scheduled time I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a stay in the Medina

Host was so welcoming - we were tired upon arrival and he was able to make us dinner with only an hours notice. So good, we ordered the same again the following day! Tried the hamman there which was a great experience. Bed very comfortable and rooftop area very relaxing.
Cons: Located amongst a series of alleyways which was a little daunting at first in comparison to other places we had stayed in the city.

The location is 8/10âit's less than a 7-minute walk to Jemaa El Fnaa Square and close to various shops. The room was clean and spacious. The rooftop has a nice view, and the courtyard has a pool. Breakfast was delightful, with lots of different options every day. They offer hammams and tours. Great wifi. Tip: Don't be alarmed by the outside streets. Inside is a little piece of heaven - quiet and smells fantastic. The staff was my favorite part of staying here. They are so friendly and lovely. Aziz took great care of us, and Mariam and the other ladies were hospitable. I love their smile and wish them all the best in life. Chokrane jazilian!

Staff, Aziz went his way to ensure that weâve got everything we needed. The raid is in the noisy medina ,yet away from the noise and hustle. The welcome Moroccan tea was very nice.
Cons: Itâs in a slit alley which scared me a little when we first got there and when itâs dark. Parking is 5 mins walk but impossible without a trolley man and the cost is 20-30 MAD one way. The aircon was very noisy at night so I didnât get much sleep and I was using ear plugs already. But this could just be personal. Personally Iâd choose a hotel outside of the old Medina next time.

The Riad was beautiful and felt secluded and peaceful, even though it was so close to the main square. We could walk everywhere from the Riad. We also did the Hammam there which was a lovely experience and helped us to sleep well on the first night. Breakfasts were lovely, and we loved having the Moroccan mint tea. The hosts were super friendly and helpful, and provided lots of advice and printed out our boarding tickets for our return home. The transfer to and from the airport made life easy as well. This riad definitely exceeded my expectations in every way possible; the rooms were comfortable, the staff employees were some of the nicest people I have met in my life, and the location could not have been better (walking distance from Medina). All the workers were amazing but Aziz was truly exceptional; he offered us tea upon our arrival and on our last night, and stayed up late talking and sharing his knowledge about Morocco with us. The staff was beyond thoughtful and made our experience 10x better. My grandfather had gotten a little sick from the street food in the first days and Aziz offered to make him rice to settle his stomach and booked us reservations at restaurants from thereon. Finally, the breakfasts were delicious and i would recommend the hammam experience at the riad as it is worth the price in my opinion.

This Riad was brilliant, we booked very last minute based on other peoples reviews on booking and tripadvisor. Honestly this is the perfect Riad to experience Marrakech. The Riad is simple stunning inside, beautiful decor and and amazing staff. Its right in the heart of the medina, so a few minute walk from the hussle into tranquility. I would definitely recommend.
Cons: The only thing is since you are in the heart of the medina, there isnt direct car access. Its a 3/5 minute walk from the nearest car drop off. I would definitely recommend getting the airport transfer as they guide you to the the Riad.

Great staff, with excellent English and French. Charming Riad in an excellent location right in the middle of the Medina yet quiet. All transports were well organised and comfortable The package Hammam + massage was nice (albeit that the hammam room itself looks a bit rundown) Our final evening meal on the rooftop terrace was wonderful.
Cons: The Riad was altogether a bit pricey. Breakfast was a little substandard and lacking in variety. The recommended excursion to Ourika Valley wasn't great value for money and was somewhat underwhelming.

Amazing Riad located in the center of Medina, very easy to reach from Place Jemaa el-Fnaa. The Riad is very clean with a very good attention of details, very stylish and super peaceful. Our room was very comfortable and clean, well equipped with everything we needed and enough space for luggages and clothes, it also has air conditioning which was a plus .Bathroom was great too with a fantastic walking shower . The breakfast was another great point of our stay , the food was everyday different and very delicious. We tried the Hammam and the full body massage and it was a great experience. The real Gem of Riad dar Yema is the staff who made us feel at home . Riad Dar Yema is an oasis in the medina. Typical building turned into hotel, with small pool and several places to relax including small but lovely roof terrace. It is very quiet despite its location in the heart of the old town. A bit tricky to find, but upon arrival I was told that with Waze app it's easier to be found if you don't use mobile data. Top location to explore old Marrakech. Minutes walk to most of the tourist attractions. Very clean and comfy. We felt like being at home. Big and comfortable bed, many Marrocan details around the room. I am impressed that we had the breakfast whenever we wished. Azis told us: "you are home, you can have breakfast whenever you want!". We also had tea at any time we wished for. The hospitality and kindness of riad's people is amazing and we are really thankful!

The best about this Riad is the staff, 100%!!! We really felt at home and so welcomed! Assis was the best host we could have, always friendly, always with a big smile, willing to help and talk with you! For sure, the best was to sit with him, drink some mint tea and share our stories! Together with Assis there was also the ladies, Zinab, and another one that unfortunately I donât remember her name! Both ladies also very friendly and lovely! We appreciate so much the work of the 3 of them, and for making our experience in Marrakesh even better!!! Apart from the amazing staff, we must say that the Riad is beautiful, peaceful and clean! The breakfast is traditionally Moroccan and made with love! The location is great, close to the central square, and in the first day you already learn your ways through the medina easily! We felt safe at all times!!On our last day, it was my birthday, and Assis gave me a very sweet gift.. I donât know if he knew it was my bday or if it was just another kind gesture of him.. anyways, I was very happy and couldnât be more thankful! Beautiful traditional Riad in the heart of the old medina. The rooms and the public spaces were beautifully decorated and super clean. The breakfast was plentiful and varied - we were there for five nights and had something different every morning. One of our group had an intolerance to gluten and lactose and received special products each day for breakfast to meet her needs. Nothing was too much trouble for Aziz and the team and he was always on hand if we wanted advice. We enjoyed a traditional hammam steam room in the riad and spent evenings on the roof terrace. Overall the Riad was lovely. We honestly canât fault it. Itâs in a great location about 5 mins walk from the big square and close to various shops and restaurants. The Riad is very clean and well appointed. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. Rooms are sized OK with double bed, seating areas and a nice bathroom and shower. Breakfast was included and the staff do a great job of remembering food and drink preferences and were able to accommodate dietary needs such as gluten free food and dairy free. Finally and perhaps most importantly the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and did their best to make our stay enjoyable. The property is situated perfectly. Very close the the square and right in the middle of the medina. The service was delightful and I could not fault this at all! The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. - we were always offered more which was lovely. we were even sent to the airport with a pack up breakfast which was lovely. The room was absolutely beautiful and very large. It felt very private. plenty of room for three people too.
Cons: I found the aircon to be not powerful enough. i was often way too hot in the room and had to use the fan that i brought with me. The images are a little dated. Things just need a little bit of an update, such as the towels - they were a little old and some stained. The sun loungers were a little dusty. The pool for me was not usable. It is surrounded by tables which is a little uninviting for me.

Everything! They welcomed us with a cup of mint tea upon our arrival (and they turned on the AC in our room and put a cold bottle of water on the side table while we were enjoying the tea!); the room was perfect with a clean bathroom and fresh towels. When we asked if we may have some mint tea for our breakfast (tasty, different kinds of bread, and generous amount of coffee), they generously said yes, without additional payment. When we left, they even gave us a little souvenir!
Cons: This is not the fault of the riad, but if you are arriving in the evening, make sure you check the map carefully. Maybe you want to arrange a pick up at the airport or at the station. This is not because of the security issue, but because you need to go through an alley full of local people and you may have difficulties carrying suitcases and trying to find the small alley that leads to the riad. Again, there is nothing wrong with the riad at all, and this also means the property's proximity to the main attraction in the medina.

The Riad was clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and it also smelled wonderful! The staff were incredible, super friendly, smiley and very accommodating. They work super hard to make sure you have a good stay and they certainly made our stay incredibly easy and helped us with a couple of favours we asked, which we really appreciated. The area around the Riad is perfectly safe and there were a lot of local kids playing in the streets at night greeting us, which we found super cute. Breakfast was delicious and different every day.

Really peaceful and clean. Nice rooms. Riad had character. Located in the Medina, all the major sights were very accessible. Aziiz, the man on the front desk, was very kind and helpful. I would advise that you book the taxi offered by the hotel when you first arrive in Marrakesh because initially it is quite difficult to find.

Spectacular! Everything was just perfect in our visit. This place is an Oasis in the middle of the medina

Riad Dar Yema is the place to stay! Cannot recommend them highly enough, from the moment we were welcomed into the serene oasis of the riad the staff made every effort to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. They were always available to help answer questions, to organize additional services for us (hammam, massage, airport transfer.) The location is amazing, just a short walk from the main streets and the hustle and bustle of the Medina. It provided a wonderfully calm and peaceful environment to wind down (or to siesta in the afternoon heat) at the end of the day.

central location just five minutes walking from the central square Jemaa El Fna into the Medina. Aziz is a great host, welcoming us every day with Moroccan the. The room was in the traditional Moroccan style, very confortable and clean. The Ryad looks amazing, a relaxing oasis in the middle of the Medina. We also had dinner at the Riad (made by Aziz himself): very delicious and strongly recommend, better than the restaurants we tried in Marrakesh and other Moroccan cities we visited. also breakfast was very good! we strongly recommend this place.

Absolutely stunning hospitality delivered by each and everyone of the team. Ayoub (I hope I got the name right) went above and beyond and had great tips for us. Moreover, he packed and handed us a lunch back for our trip to the desert when we did not have time for breakfast in the morning. The heartfelt moroccan hospitality really got to us. Everyone who need to make a decision: Do yourself a favor and stay in this lovely Riad with its amazing people!

The stay here was lovely and relaxing. Aziz and Ameena in particular were very hospitable, polite and attentive. Amazing. The riad is in a good location to the markets and restaurants of the old town, but is very quiet compared to the hustle and the bustle of the markets. The locals arenât intimidating although some will ask for money when they see youâre a tourist. Daily breakfast is comprehensive and the staff remember your requirements after only telling them one time - great attention to detail. You can also request a homemade dinner which is 3 courses for âŹ25, perfect when you just want to chill out for the evening. The food is always fresh and tasty. I would 10/10 recommend staying at this riad if the opportunity arises, no complaints and the shower is awesome!

The room was beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Very well thought out and planned. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Cons: The location is good, but we did not appreciate the locals (of all ages) demanding and negotiating tips to help us find the property. But this isn't the fault of the owners. The rooftop is the only area I would suggest improving.

We loved Riad Dar Yema. The staff were all lovely, the mint tea delicious, and the riad itself beautiful and tranquil (the amazing smell of orange blossom!), while still being very close to the centre of the medina. Breakfast was also delicious and our 3 year old daughter was warmly welcomed. The beds were very comfy and our room spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts were great and they were happy to make extra things on request. The Riad is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very good value for money.
Cons: I found the bed and pillows a bit uncomfortable and the room took a while to heat up (in February). Our room was on the small side with no real sitting space. (The bathroom was large though) We could also have done with a better map , the one we were given was a very small photocopy in French and quite blurred.

But then the doors opened and it was so beautiful inside with the lights on etc. Staff were exceptional. Abdul Aziz was very helpful and went above and beyond. Offered us any choice for breakfast and accommodated for our needs. Will definitely visit again.
Cons: Getting collected by a taxi was sometimes a slight issue as they could not come into the medina so we had a little walk. But the central location of the hotel more than made up for it as everything was within walking distance.

Beautiful Riad with amazing location near the streets of the Medina. They arranged a pickup at the airport, with support to arrive at the Riad by foot (last part). A warm welcome with some traditional Tea and biscuits. Clean and spacious room, with build-in cabinets and a safe for your belongings. Perfect size bathroom, with fresh towels, shampoo and body soap every day. Good breakfast, with a lot of options like bread, pancakes, fresh fruit etc. (in general a lot of sweets) but always willing to prepare you something like an omelette or scrambled eggs. Overall a lovely stay in the heart of the Medina.

Wonderful riad with a few rooms, very centrally located in the medina but somehow quiet in the night. feels very cosy, the patio is beautiful, there is a rooftop as well, the room was clean and tidy, the personnel was extremely nice, small gestures like water bottle, tea offered anytime, etc. and finally the breakfast was amazing! Would definitely go back and 100% recommend, we had a wonderful time!
Cons: There was a little bit of noise in the morning if you woke up after other guests had breakfast but it probably is exactly the same at every hotel in town and if guests are mindful it is totally okay

The staff (Aziz, Ayoub, the cook) are amazing. We dealt with Aziz most of the time. He was warm, helpful, and always smiling. It's a good idea to book an airport pick-up (20 euros) with them, because we didn't need to worry about finding the place (a driver + porter will take care of you). At first, finding your way to the riad alone can be confusing but it gets easier as the days go by. After all, the riad is just a quick 5-minute walk to the medina. I shared a room with my sister and the room was spacious for us. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast is good (breads, jams, fruits, pancakes, etc.), but we couldn't finish it. On some mornings, we just requested what we'd like to eat so as not to waste food. Sometimes, the friendly cook comes out of the kitchen to ask if everything's okay.
Cons: The only issues were: the shower area overflowing and the toilet had to be flushed a few times. I wish the bedroom lights were a bit brighter for nighttime reading.

The Riad was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were spacious (my two sisters and I shared a double room with an extra bed) and we were comfortable. It was well located just a five-minute walk to the Medina and a 30-minute walk to the newer part of town. The best part about this Riad is their staff - Aziz was the best host we could have hoped for. Always welcoming, helpful and happy! He was even kind enough to make my sister who was quite ill one day some food and tea to settle her stomach and brought it up to the top floor! Thank you Aziz for making our trip so special!

We enjoyed our stay, the only problem was the noise. The riad played music until after 11pm and it was pretty loud. There were also guests in the common area until after that time talking very loud and could be heard clearly in our rooms. There should be a curfew for the noise. Recommend bringing good ear plugs if you are unable to sleep in loud noise. The twin room was spacious enough, bathroom really good size (but rather dark), it was clean and overall a really nice room and riad. Staff were really helpful and kind. Requested gluten free breakfast and were provided with gluten free veg pancake and some other gluten free moroccan bread alternatives with jams, it was decent but limited although they did also accommodate our early breakfast due to early check out.

It's almost absurd walking into this spa-like atmosphere from the intense medina/old town. If you or other guests have enjoyed a hamam there, the air is filled with soothing scents as well. Friendly and helpfull staff. The breakfast was nice and the room was comfortable with a effective air condition.
Cons: As far as I could work out, the only way to reach it is through the super intense medina. Meaning that as a european, you will almost garanteed have encounters with the scammers that Marrakesh is so known for that will "show you the way to attractions", even before you have reached the Riad. Not much the Riad can do about it though, it is where it is.

Lovely Riad, very close to everything. Really intimate property, attentive service and attention to detail. Very nice helpful guys, such a relaxing and well designed space, and their little kitten is beautiful!
