As someone who visits Marrakech often this is my new favourite stay! The Riad is simply beautiful and in the best location just around the corner from the market and within walking distance of most attractions. We stayed in the Jasmine room which was beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style. It includes a large bathtub in the room so perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The pool and rooftop jacuzzi were perfect for resting and relaxing in between sightseeing. The staff are all so welcoming, they took time to explain everything about the city and gave recommendations all while we had our complimentary tea and cake. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the riad itself was absolutely beautiful. The swimming pool was lovely, and the jacuzzi on the rooftop was definitely a highlight. The rooftop also has a great view overlooking the beautiful square. Because we stayed a little longer, we were even offered a complimentary massage, which was a very nice surprise. It was also my birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake. Such a thoughtful gesture! Our room was decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, which made the experience even more special. The location of the riad is perfect, with almost everything within walking distance. Breakfast was also very good every morning. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this riad!

As a female solo traveler, I always look for someplace that is not only excellent but feels safe. This exceeded that. It was a perfect location, the amenities were wonderful, and the staff took care of everything and made me feel very much as home. Abderrahman, Mohammed, and Soufian were wonderful. I highly recommend and I will be staying here every time I am in Marrakech.

La sensazione di relax e confort assoluti che ho provato in questo Riad che non finivo più di fotografare....Dopo 10 giorni selvaggi nel deserto è stato il regalo più bello che potessi farmi,una grande coccola...La posizione è straordinaria,ad 1 minuto a piedi da piazza Jeema el Fnaa,che potevo vedere dalla piscina sul tetto del riaad..... veramente emozionante..... Rapporto qualità prezzo formidabile!! Assolutamente consigliato!!

Perfekte Lage, ein sehr freundlicher Empfang, der dafür sorgt dass man gut ankommt.Gute Angebote und eine außerordentlich schöne künstlerische Architektur- bezaubernd! Eine schöne Oase um sich zu entspannen, Hilfsbereites Personal! Ich würde es definitiv weiter empfehlen!!!
Cons: Flughafen Transfer: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des großen Marktes El Fna, aus dem Grund auch mit dem Auto nicht direkt erreichbar. Der Transfer kann nur bis zu einem bestimmten Ort parken, und dieser Treffpunkt ist nur zu Fuß ( 10-15mins) erreichbar. Es ist gerade für Mitternacht-Transferfahrten wichtig die Gäste, insbesondere non-locals, darüber zu informieren und ggf, wie der Mitarbeiter vor Ort, auch die Gäste dorthin zu begleiten. Wir hätten uns ohne Unterstützung nicht getraut um diese Uhrzeit durch die Gassen und dem Marktplatz zu laufen. Ansonsten war der Transfer gut.

Un emplacement optimal dans la médina, et en même temps au calme. Le Riad est très mignon, avec plusieurs patios rafraîchis par des arbres. Les chambres ( Indigo et Lotus) sont grandes avec beaucoup de charme. Le riad a été un petit hâvre de tranquilité et de fraîcheur pour se réfugier pendant les heures les plus chaudes.

L’accueil, le service et la location sont les points forts de ce Riad. La piscine et le jacuzzi permettent de ce détendre et rafraîchir à toute heure. Les chambres sont complètes et spacieuses. L’équipe souhaite vraiment que vous vous y sentiez bien et cela est très agréable. Le petit déjeuné est complet et délicieux. Expérience parfaite pour nous!

In this Riad I basically liked everything. The position is excellent, in the very center, few steps from the famous Jemaa El-Fnaa square. The breakfast was really good, and made by hand with very good quality local products, but I couldn't say enough good about the staff, they became for me like a family, it's like I knew them from before, so I know now that if I go there again I have Moroccan brothers and sisters. I want to express a public Thank You to Mohamed, Abdelrahman, Ghislane and sorry to not to remember the name of the other sweet girls, but a big thank you to you all. Also, a special mention to the small swimming pool that is so refreshing and relaxing after a long hot day walking in Marrakech.

Me and my friend stayed in the Jasmine room for two nights and had a phenomenal time there! The staff were all so friendly and helpful giving us all the best things to see and do in Marrakech. We managed to have time to go in the pool & Jacuzzi too which was a perfect refresher in the Heat! The breakfast was also the perfect amount and definitely worth it if you have time. I would definitely recommend and stay there again if I was ever in Marrakech. Beautiful & lovely stay! Thank you :)

Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral und das Riad war sehr schön. Es hat oben auf der Terasse ein Pool (wärmeres Wasser) und unten einen kälteren Pool zum abkühlen. Viele Pflanzen und das Riad hat sogar eine Schildkröte als Haustier! Super hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Klimaanlage hat immer funktioniert. Das Frühstück war auch super lecker (sie haben sehr leckere Oliven).

The riad is beautiful full of little corners to sit and admire the beautiful space. Our room was comfortable and the aircon was great. Brekfast by the little pool was lovely and the jacuzzi was an unexpected treat. All the staff are fantastic a d quick to help with any issues. Also recommended placea to visit and the siater riad roxanne. We loved our time here and will be back for longer next time hopefully. Thank you all at riad persephone. You are fabulous

The riad was extremely beautiful, so many photo spots and we felt really happy here. All of the floors and rooms are well-decorated, just like in the photos. One extra highlight was the rooftop jacuzzi with a view on the main square. We also felt safe going home late at night - it’s right in the heart of the medina.

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique au Riad Perséphone. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par le charme exceptionnel de la chambre. Les jeux de lumière et les lanternes colorées créent une atmosphère apaisante et particulièrement romantique pour un séjour en couple. La salle de bain est également superbe, avec une très belle douche et des toilettes japonaises qui apportent une touche de confort supplémentaire. Les espaces de détente du Riad sont tout simplement remarquables. La piscine située au rez-de-chaussée, entourée de matelas, offre un cadre idéal pour se relaxer autour d'un thé servi avec gentillesse par le personnel. Sur le rooftop, le jacuzzi est un véritable havre de paix où l'on peut se détendre au soleil dans une ambiance calme et agréable. Les chaises longues permettent également de profiter pleinement du climat marocain. Le soir, nous avons particulièrement apprécié les fauteuils orientés vers la place Jemaa el-Fna. Ils permettent d'admirer l'effervescence de Marrakech tout en profitant du calme du Riad. La localisation est d'ailleurs exceptionnelle : la place Jemaa el-Fna se trouve à deux minutes à pied, tout comme l'accès aux différents souks. Il semble difficile de trouver meilleur emplacement. Le petit-déjeuner est également excellent : café, thé, un assortiment varié de pains et pâtisseries, accompagné d'œufs, de fromage, de miel, de confitures, de beurre et d'olives. Nous tenons à souligner l'excellence du personnel. L'équipe d'accueil est d'une gentillesse remarquable, toujours à l'écoute, et prête à répondre à chaque demande avec le sourire. Un grand bravo également aux équipes de cuisine et aux femmes de chambre qui accomplissent un travail exceptionnel tout au long de la journée. Un immense merci à toute l'équipe du Riad Perséphone pour son accueil, sa bienveillance et son professionnalisme.

Ich bin nun schon zum zweiten Mal im Riad Persephone eingecheckt und bin einfach wieder restlos begeistert! Dieses Riad ist wunderschön und die Zimmer sind etwas ganz Besonderes. Dieses Mal hatte ich ein fantastisches Zimmer ganz oben – ein absoluter Traum, ich habe mich wirklich wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt. Die gesamte Ausstattung ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich nett, aber ein ganz großes Dankeschön geht an Abderrahman! Er ist super freundlich, extrem zuvorkommend und sorgt dafür, dass man sich ab der ersten Sekunde pudelwohl fühlt. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Hamam mit den anschließenden Massagen, ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, das man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte. Zudem ist die Lage unschlagbar: Direkt in der Mitte vom Square, sodass man sofort mitten im Geschehen ist. Ich bin mega happy mit meinem Aufenthalt und komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!

All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the design and atmosphere of the riad were absolutely wonderful. I also really loved the Lotus Room where I stayed. As a small suggestion, I think it would be great to have a full-length mirror in the rooms and a brighter light that can fully illuminate the room. The lighting created a beautiful and very aesthetic atmosphere, but it was sometimes a little difficult to find things in the room because it was quite dim. That said, these were only minor suggestions and did not affect my overall experience at all. I left completely satisfied with my stay. If I ever return, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Riad Persephone, for an amazing four days! 🫶

un Riad molto bello stanza bella letto molto grande. Siamo stati bene e anche un rooftop da cui si vede la piazza principale e c’è anche una jacuzzi riscaldata. Colazione buona e lo staff veramente gentile, noi avevamo fame fuori pasto e uno dello staff è uscito per andare a comprare lo yogurt che poi ci ha portato in camera senza chiederci niente indietro. Posizione centrale a pochi metri dalla piazza principale e per arrivarci non devi passare su nessuna via brutta.
Cons: siamo stati molto bene l’unica cosa è che le porte delle stanze non si chiudono bene e comunque ci sono fessure molto grandi quindi si sente sia da fuori che è da dentro la stanza. E essendo molto vicino alla piazza si sente il rumore la sera( a noi non ha dato troppo fastidio( si dorme bene comunque).

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Riad Perséphone. Le personnel est chaleureux et très accueillant. Les chambres sont confortables et le petit-déjeuner est satisfaisant. Le riad bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement, à proximité de la place Jemaa el-Fna. De plus, il est possible de profiter de la piscine du Riad Roxane, ce qui est un véritable atout.

The staff were very nice and welcoming throughout the whole stay, the rooms were very unique and looked just like the images and the location was amazing as it was right next to the main market. The view from the rooftop was amazing and accessible at any time and perhaps the best part of the riad is the very cute tortoise that joined us for breakfast each day. I would reccomend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech.
Cons: If you are tall make sure to watch out for the ceiling lamps as they are quite low and i did hit my head on them a few times. I think the rooms could be better if they had more storage space as it was quite limited however this was expected as this place is a riad.

Stepping into your room was like stepping into a fairy tale, each room was unique in size, shape and decor. It is very close to Jemma el Fnaa, and easy to get to - once you know your way, and has a pleasant rooftop terrace. Lots of great restaurants nearby, and plentiful shopping in the souks. The staff were lovely, and very helpful.
Cons: Not all rooms are soundproof, and the noise from the square goes late into the evening on the weekends. You will need someone to guide you there the first time, and it is not accessible by taxi, except for early mornings before the square starts to become active.

L’établissement est incroyablement bien placé tout près de la place. Il est decoré avec goût et il est très agréable d’y séjourner. Les plantes vertes rajoute un énorme plus. Le plus est vraiment le rooftop avec un très grand jaccuzzi au milieu des plantes et des fleurs. Le soleil est présent et on a une jolie vue sur la place avec le son de la musique qui s’y joue. Riad Persephone is a little Gem in the hustle and Bustle of Jemaa el-Fnna literally a 2 minute walk away. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more helpful, carried our cases up to our rooms which were wonderful, so traditional with all modern comforts, super air conditioning and a mini fridge in the room which was ideal. The Riad itself is stunningly beautiful with a roof top sitting are with Plunge pool, plenty of sun umbrellas for shade. Also the pool inside the riad next to the Hamam which was an added bonus in my opinion, lovely cool shaded library area where we chose to have breakfast every morning which I must add was delicious, we were there for 3 days and each morning we had a variation of breakfast goodies, some savoury and some sweet, and wonderful coffee. On the day we booked out the staff printed our flight boarding pass for us {which we hadn't realised we needed as the airport would not accept just the virtual copy} we were also allowed to leave our luggage as we had an evening flight and checkout is at midday (which is great imo). We had an amazing time and will definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends . Thank you Riad Persephone ...

Generell eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einer perfekten Lage mitten in Marrakesch. Besonders die Dachterrasse ist ein echtes Highlight – von dort hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick direkt auf den Djemaa el Fna. Außerdem gibt es einen Jacuzzi, den man nutzen kann, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung und bietet einen guten Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den überaus freundlichen Service – das gesamte Team war stets hilfsbereit und herzlich. Auch die Sauberkeit war hervorragend. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung, auch für jüngere Reisende, die zentral wohnen und das Leben in Marrakesch hautnah erleben möchten.

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Persephone. The location is gorgeous and surprisingly easy to get to, making it the perfect base for exploring Marrakech. The rooftop view is beautiful —an amazing place to relax and take in the city. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The staff were warm, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The riad itself is beautifully designed; I especially loved the colours, décor, and thoughtful details throughout the space. A special mention has to go to the bath—it was absolutely amazing and such a treat after a day of sightseeing! Overall, a beautiful riad with exceptional hospitality, stunning design, and unforgettable rooftop views. We would happily stay here again.

Cons: Simply put we paid to stay at the property, which I booked and over 6 weeks in advance and got put in a room where the Air-con was broken, which was clearly a known issue since the air-con remote was missing from the room and I had to ask for it at reception. It was 38 degrees. It was the day before Eid which I understand why they could not get it fixed. As they could not fix this, the Riad agreed to a full refund and we would switch to a different Riad. However they could not pay me back in the Cash that I had literally just given them an hour earlier. I had to jump through hoops by contacting booking.com who then had to chase the Riad for payment. Long story short it’s been nearly a month and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND of £186. The Riad are no longer replying to my messages which I can see have been read. Don’t stay here unless you want to be ripped off . Super disappointing end to what was up to that point a great trip to Morocco

In camera c’erano 3 finestre, non è la mia prima volta a Marrakech ed in generale i. Marocco, non ho mai avuto camere così grandi in un Riad. Per essere all’interno della Medina è posizionato benissimo, anche tornare tardi la sera per noi che eravamo due ragazze. Abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di muoverci a piedi tutto il tempo perché il Riad è in una posizione strategica. Grazie ad abdel per averci chiesto sempre se avessimo bisogno di aiuto e per averci aiutato l’ultima sera a Marrakech ad ottenere un tavolo al ristorante dar Essalam nonostante fosse Pieno. Cons: Consiglierei un po’ di manutenzione e pulizia della struttura in più, è un peccato perché ha un grosso potenziale. La colazione potrebbero fare di più, non è la mia prima volta in Marocco ed amo la Colazione ed i dolci marocchini, potrebbero offrire qualcosa di più, anche se non era male ma abbastanza buona. Da rividere anche la fontana nella camera 5 dove soggiornavamo che continua a far scorrere acqua anche dopo averla Chiusa ed il bagno che puzza di fogna.

Cons: Nous avions réservé 4 nuits dans le riad Persephone à Marrakech plus de deux mois à l’avance. Malheureusement, dès notre arrivée, nous avons été très déçus par l’état général de l’établissement. L’ambiance nous a immédiatement mis mal à l’aise. Le riad est extrêmement petit, très mal entretenu et surtout très sale, bien loin des photos présentées sur l’annonce, qui semblent dater de plusieurs années. Notre chambre était également très petite, avec des oreillers sales et abîmés. Lorsque nous l’avons signalé, aucun remplacement n’était disponible. Nous avons très peu dormi cette première nuit. Le lendemain matin, nous avons demandé à voir le responsable et avons décidé de quitter l’établissement. Un accord a alors été trouvé : nous réglions uniquement la nuit passée sur place et les 3 nuits restantes étaient annulées sans frais. Le responsable a effectué cette annulation devant nous sur la plateforme Booking. Deux jours plus tard, nous avons pourtant constaté un débit de 511 € sur notre compte, contrairement à l’accord conclu. Nous partageons cette expérience afin d’informer les futurs voyageurs. Nous regrettons sincèrement cette situation.

Myself and small son stayed here for a few nights last August following a 10 day stay in their sister hotel, and upon arrival we became very sick from a tourist bug (nothing to do with the hotels). My small son had a very high fever and vomiting which is dangerous to a small child, and there were no local medical facilities available on a Sunday. The cleaning team dropped everything they were doing and brought ice buckets and cloths and spent an hour placing them on my son until he cooled down, along with bringing us bottles of water and specially made herbal tea to calm the stomach. They were able to bring his temperature down naturally and then insisted upon making us a beautiful health fuelled 3 course meal free of charge once we were well enough to eat. Particularly the in house staff are literal angels and we could not have stayed in a better place while being unwell. The facilities are beautiful and traditional and the food is exquisite. I highly recommend based on the staff alone although the facilities are equally exquisite.

The Riad is very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa but even so it is very peaceful and you can get a good nights sleep. It is easy to locate if you follow google maps as it is not so far into the souks. It is a beautiful place and you truly feel like you are experiencing a traditional Riad. Lovely breakfast, great views from the rooftop and lots of places to sit and chill. Unfortunately I wasn't staying long enough to enjoy the Hamman and pools, I was sad about this but hopefully I will be back. I loved the decor and the staff were very helpful and friendly! And the bed was comfy!

Nous avons adoré le riad qui est décoré avec goût, le petit déjeuner et repas du soir copieux, les chambres sont confortables et le personnel très à l'écoute et sympathique ! La terrasse est magnifique, elle donne sur la place Jemaa El Fna, il est bon de s'y prélasser à la nuit tombée ou en journée tout en profitant de l'espace bain... Le WIFI fonctionne bien.

Cons: had via het hotel een transfer geboekt, maar bij aankomst bleek deze er niet te zijn, terwijl vooraf was aangegeven dat er een taxi met een bordje op mij zou wachten. Na twee keer bellen kwam er uiteindelijk iemand. Gelukkig was ik al eerder in Marrakech geweest, maar na het afzetten bij Jemaa el Fna moest ik zelf maar uitzoeken hoe ik het hotel kon vinden. Als je de stad niet kent, is een ophaalservice echt essentieel geweest. Het personeel was over het algemeen erg vriendelijk, met uitzondering van de nachtdienst. Ik verbleef in de bovenste kamer met terras. Helaas was deze in zeer slechte staat: overal schimmel en een sterke rioollucht. Alles voelde klam en vochtig aan, de deuren sloten niet goed en er zaten kieren van meerdere centimeters waardoor het tochtte. Toen ik mijn klacht meldde, kreeg ik te horen dat dit in Marokko “normaal” zou zijn. Dat vind ik vreemd, aangezien ik dit in eerdere hotels niet heb ervaren. Het hotel zat vol, dus een andere kamer was op dat moment niet mogelijk. De nacht was vreselijk: mijn ogen raakten geïrriteerd en ik moest zelfs twee keer overgeven door de stank. Voor de kou kon ik een extra deken krijgen, maar daar had ik uiteraard niet voor geboekt, zeker gezien de prijs van deze riad. De jacuzzi zou beschikbaar zijn, maar toen ik deze vóór het ontbijt wilde gebruiken, bleek deze gesloten en zag hij er bovendien erg vies uit. Het ontbijt zelf zag er prima uit, maar door de algehele hygiëne in het hotel verloor dit volledig zijn aantrekkingskracht. Later kreeg ik een andere kamer, die er wel goed uitzag. Toch was mijn ervaring na die eerste nacht zo negatief dat ik alleen nog maar naar huis wilde. Gelukkig kon ik diezelfde dag nog een vlucht naar Nederland boeken. Mijn verblijf van vijf nachten werd daardoor teruggebracht tot slechts één nacht. Wel wil ik mijn complimenten geven aan het meisje bij de receptie, dat veel empathie toonde. Maar voor deze prijs zijn er in het centrum absoluut veel betere riads te vinden.

Cons: The staff were incredibly rude, condescending and confrontational. - told us they would book us an airport transfer (did not we waited at the airport for hours) - told us there would be champagne and cake on arrival for my partners 30th birthday which I agreed to pay extra for (once we arrived we did not get either) we also had to wait 6 hours to check in - the bedroom was cold, the bedsheets were not changed, we did not receive fresh towels - once checking out the same nasty receptionist asked how our stay was I said okay and she tried to charge me additional fees. Once we left about 10 minutes later I got a notification that our booking was cancelled due to a no show which would incur additional fees of £196 which is crazy because we literally have evidence of being there card transactions at the property pictures etc the receptionist said she had no idea what happened it wasn’t her and told us to ring the Riad WhatsApp manager - no one has responded to me AVOID STAYING HERE ADDING PICTURES TO PROVE WE STAYED HERE

Het dakterras. Hoewel we meermaals te horen hebben gekregen dat we daar niet echt mochten zitten.
Cons: Wij hebben het geboekt vanwege de goede reviews en foto's, maar ik trek de juistheid hiervan door ons verblijf enorm in twijfel. De kamer was onhygiënisch. Heel veel vocht. De douche spoelde niet door waardoor het water uren bleef staan. Het toilet hing los en de wastafel was eveneens kapot. Verder was er geen enkele plaats voorzien om je koffer/ kledij te stockeren. De kamer was klein waardoor we amper bewegingsruimte hadden. Het ontbijt was oke, maar we moesten dit dan op een bepaalde plaats opeten. Wanneer ik vroeg of we het op het dakterras mochten opeten (wat bij andere riads wel een optie is), mocht dit niet. Ik stelde voor dat ik de plateau wel zelf mee baar boven wilde nemen, maar ook dit mocht niet. Het zwembad en de jaccuzi zijn volgens hun een geweldig gegeven, doch wilde hier niemand ingaan en begrijpelijk. Het is niet proper. Enorm jammer dat we dit verblijf zo een teleurstelling vonden. Maar wij willen dit graag meedelen dat we anderen deze ervaring hierdoor kunnen besparen of er misschien iets aan kan worden gedaan door de eigenaars.

After a shakey start to our holiday due to another Riad losing our booking The guys at The Riad Persephone saved the day and were simply amazing from start to finish and could not do enough to help. Room was stunning, views amazing, breakfast delicious and the massage was just heavenly. We didn't get chance to use everything as there is so much to do in the area but did our best and it was so peaceful sitting in the pool on the roof terrace just soaking up the sun at the end of a long day out in the buzz of it all🌞 We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this Riad and Anas and his team were just so friendly and helpful it was like a home from home for us and nothing was too much trouble.

Cons: Mejorable un poco la limpieza. No es que esté sucio sucio pero conseguí una entrada a un museo debajo del colchón de resto todo ok. Tener en cuenta tambien que los impuestos y el desayuno se paga aparte tenerlo en cuenta que no es solo el monto de la reserva.

Pagamento richiesto solo in contanti, meglio organizzarsi per tempo.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux au Riad Perséphone à Marrakech. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillies avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme par Rita. Elle est vraiment adorable et attentive, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié son attention au moment du départ avec un petit cadeau qui nous a beaucoup touchés. De très belles intentions qui font toute la différence. Un grand merci également à Anas, toujours souriant, à l’écoute et extrêmement serviable. Il nous a organisé une excursion sur mesure à notre demande, qui correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Son implication et son professionnalisme ont vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le riad est d’une propreté irréprochable, le personnel est très gentil et attentionné, notamment au moment du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est parfait : très complet, copieux et délicieux. Le jacuzzi sur le rooftop est un vrai plus, surtout au coucher du soleil avec la vue sur la place Jemaa El Fna : un moment magique que nous n’oublierons pas. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons ce riad à 300 % pour vivre une expérience magnifique en plein cœur de Marrakech. Encore merci à toute l’équipe pour ces beaux moments.

My room was absolutely stunning, on the roof terrace with its own set of steps leading up to the room and its own private terrace. My bed was so comfortable and the entire room was extremely clean. The member of staff informed me that the concept of the riad is that every room is different which really showed in the entire aesthetic of the place. It was the most beautiful and interesting riad I have stayed in thus far. Just staying was an experience in itself and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time I am in Marrakesh. The design of the riad is truly astounding. Upon arrival, I was given a tour of the riad and then welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries overlooking the pool in a little quirky library alcove. The roof terrace has a really up close view of the main square (Jemaa el-Fna) which you don't always get in a Riad (sometimes you're just looking at walls/buildings lol). The breakfast was really good here as well, which, have stayed at about 5 riads at this point you don't always get the same level of quality as I got here. When I left a woman working there have me some beautiful products as a thank you for staying at Riad Persephone which I found to be such a beautiful touch. Can't wait to stay with you guys again!
Cons: One thing and one thing only was the lady who did my hammam asked me to my face for a tip which I did not like at all and I found unprofessional. I understand cultural differences but I really don't think this is a good thing and could make someone feel very uncomfortable because how can you respond in that moment... Obviously you could say no to her face but... Aside from that, the riad itself and my experience there with the other members of staff was 20/10 See you guys soon :) SHAUNA XX

Everything. It is a beautiful Riad, and a very short walk to the main square...once you are in Marrakech you realise how important it is to be able to find your accommodation easily!! The rooms are beautiful and atmospheric, and the roof terrace and hot tub are wonderful, with great views across the square one way and to the Atlas mountains the other. The staff are exceptionally kind and friendly, and we felt very welcome 🙏

Everything! The accommodation is more magical than we could have imagined, not just the rooms but also the communal areas. Sitting in the library by the pool after meandering the streets of Marrakech with a traditional Moroccan Tea was incredibly relaxing. The location is second to none, just far enough away from the main square to escape the wonderful madness, yet only a 2 minute stroll right into it. You can also watch the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnna medina from the rooftop - with a Spa! But most of all, the hospitality from the staff was out of this world, in particular for us Anas and Rita... Thankyou! Having never visited Morocco, you made us feel so very welcome and looked after, we can not wait to return. Brilliant stay. Hands down recommend for all.

Riad Persephone e stata proprio una bella scoperta . Proprio a 200 MT dalla piazza principale ma supersilenzioso . Piante ovunque , sembra di essere in un giardino verde da quante piante ci sono e tutto questo rende il Ryad un posto molto rilassante e che trasmette tranquillita. I ragazzi all'accoglienza Anas e la collega Rita sono stati super gentili , parlano un inglese veramente ottimo e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi informazione o richiesta . Ottima struttura con una terrazza con Jacuzzi che non posso nemmeno descriverla.
Cons: nulla ... Suggerirei magari fi mettere un cassettone di stile magrebino in camera . Ma e giusto un suggerimento da arredatore 😉

Cons: El check in decia que era de 7 am a 12 del día, llegamos aproximadamente 9 am cuando nos comentan que debemos esperara 1 hora para que nos entregaran la habitación, además de cobrarnos los impuestos solamente en EFECTIVO. Al pasar la primera hora, nos dicen que hasta las 13 pm nos harán entrega, lo cual, no fue cierto, todavía nos piden 20 min más (pasada las 13 hrs) para limpiar la habitación. Además de ser yo quien constantemente preguntaba por el status de nuestro cuarto, sin tener actualizaciones por iniciativa peopia de los encargados. Requiere de mantenimiento y un poco más de limpieza algunas zonas.

Риад полон растений и деревьев в горшках, крыша с джакузи, россыпь укромных уголков там и тут с диванчиками, пуфами, небольшой бассейн и свой маленький хамам. Мы побывали в нескольких риадах за эту поездку и все они хороши, но этот удивил! Наверное в жару здесь рай, жаль мы были в январе )

I loved everything..beautiful surroundings, all staff helpful & friendly, nothing too much trouble. Close to the square but also away from it all. The Lotus Suite had an amazing bathroom and is located just steps away from the serene pool..will be coming back and staying here for all of my stay next time as this was the best of the 3 places that I stayed on this visit.

This is an exceptional riad with a beautiful interior and amazing hospitality. We were well looked after by Rita and other colleagues. We had some small issues with our initial room but were acommodated all the way throughout. The team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Location is easy to find even with directions from taxi drop off location (not necessary to pay for hotel taxi). Welcome tea and treats were lovely. Nicely decorated in common areas.
Cons: Bed has a very distinct sag into the middle. Bedroom window opens to common patio area - if you don’t smoke having people right below your window blowing smoke in is a very unpleasant way to start each day - and everyone seems to smoke here! Drain in shower does not go quickly, bathtub in room although pretty doesn’t hold water and can’t be filled even a 1/4 before the hot water runs out. Wifi for our area of the riad did not work for the entire three days. Each staff promised it would be fixed - with different excuses “it’s Sunday, for sure tomorrow” or saying “someone was coming in 30 min to fix it” etc etc. not convinced anyone was taking action.

Es war eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung in dem Riad zu übernachten. Wir wurden so herzlich aufgenommen. Als wir früher bei dem Riad ankommen als gedacht, haben wir Tee und Gebäck bekommen und konnten in einer sehr schönen Lounge mit Pool verweilen. Das ganze Personal war super herzlich. Das Zimmer war auch super schön. Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht.

La struttura è accogliente, molte piante, bei colori, uccellini che cinguettano, spazi per hammam e massaggi all'interno, vasca idromassaggio sul terrazzo. Reception 24/7. La camera da letto (Olenadro) è bella.
Cons: Per il prezzo pagato, seppur considerato che era l'ultima settimana dell'anno, alcune cose non sono accettabili: colazione gradevole, ma poco più che sufficiente (come varietà e qualità, considerata la pasticceria marocchina e la frutta disponibile); la camera, lunga e stretta per la presenza di una bellissima (ma inutile) vasca da bagno bordo letto (in aggiunta alla doccia nel bagno) non aveva nessun armadio, guardaroba o cassettiera (per cui abbiamo lasciato per 4 notti tutti i vestiti dentro la valigia a terra e un trolly chiuso appoggiato alla finestra); ok gli asciugamani che si cambiano sole se serve, ma non è normale dover esplicitamente richiedere il riordino del letto; lo scarico della doccia non funzionava e faceva pozzanghera (hanno provato a risolvere il problema a più riprese, ma sfortunatamente sempre senza successo); nessun accappatoio e ciabattine in camera (come invece letto in descrizione), che invece sarebbero stati utili per sfruttare un minimo l'idromassaggio sul tetto, raggiungibile solo attraverso spazi comuni esterni e senza spogliatoio limitrofo.

When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome from Nour who offered me tea and cake in the common area before showing me my room for the stay. Throughout my time there the staff was always friendly and helpful in all matters. The interior of the riad had both a clean and beautiful, almost magic like design and the place is located right in the busy heart of the Medina, yet not noisy at all. I really enjoyed staying there, thanks for having me!

Cons: Die Heizung hätte besser funktionieren können. Es stehen etwas zu viele Pflanzen rum. Das ist eigentlich kein Problem, aber da es geregnet hat, ist man unnötig nass geworden. Das Loch vor der Eingangstür sollte mal repariert werden.

Love all the beautiful intricate touches in the bedroom, the lanterns, the plants and the maze of steps and 2 inner courtyards, one with a pool, one with an oasis breakfast area. The rooftop seating area with jacuzzi and sunbeds was a welcome break from our shopping and haggling in the Souks of the Medina, which are literally on the doorstep. We love this Riad and the staff were super helpful. We had a Hammam Massage on site which was an incredible experience. 100 percent recommend Persephone.

Lo mejor sin duda es la ubicación a dos minutos de la famosa plaza Jemaa el fna. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y la cama muy cómoda. Sábanas y toallas limpias. El desayuno es una maravilla y tomarlo cada mañana en ése precioso patio entre árboles frutales con el sonido del agua corriendo y los pájaros... no se puede pedir más. Las vistas desde la azotea del riad a la plaza, la koutoubia y el atlas de fondo, increíble!!!!. No olvides tu bañador hay un jacuzzi al aire libre con el agua súper caliente, genial! Tambien hay una pequeña piscina en la planta baja que no usamos y la opción de hammam junto a ésta. El personal fué amable y sonriente en todo momento, nadie nos agobió para comprar ninguno de los servicios que ofrecen, ni tampoco cambiaron su actitud hacia nosotras al ver que no compramos nada de lo que ofertaban.
Cons: Las habitaciones son bastante oscuras pero tampoco me pareció terrible. El mobiliaro de la azotea está un poco descuidado le podían dar una vuelta al tema la verdad porque daría otra impresión. Se ven lámparas sin colocar que las han dejado encima de un sofá y llevan allí tiempo, ése tipo de cosas... le haría falta un poco más de mantenimiento y luciría increíble. Hay dos escaleras diferentes de acceso a las habitaciones y la que nos tocó a nosotras llega un momento en el que las escaleras son muy empinadas!!!!! Imposibles para personas con movilidad reducida, no era nuestro caso. Encontrar el riad por primera vez es otro de los puntos negativos. Una vez sabes el camino es muuuuy fácil. CONSEJO: buscar el Café de France en medio de la plaza y es ahí mismo se accede desde ésa calle.

Uitstekende locatie, binnen 1 minuut in de Medina en op het grote plein waar alles gebeurd. Veel taxi's en tuc tuc in de buurt om makkelijk ergens naar toe te gaan. Voor slechts 11 euro en in 20 minuutjes ben je bij het vliegveld. Het ontbijt was echt zoals verwacht, niet luxe maar voldoende, pannekoekje, vers gebakken mais koekje, stokbrood, beleg, eitje en koffie en thee. De kamer werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt maar je kon wel om schone handdoeken vragen. Wij hadden de kamer op the rooftop en die was zo bleek achteraf de grootste met een redelijk goed bed, alleen harde kussens. Maar we kregen op ons verzoek zachtere. De andere kamers zijn wel vrij klein maar je komt tenslotte ook niet naar Marrakech om op je kamer te zitten.
Cons: Het was allemaal in verhouding maar zelf had ik de kamer iets beter uitgerust met bijvoorbeeld een planchetje om je toiletspullen op te zetter en een tafeltje om je koffer op te zetten en licht boven de wastafel.

My friend speaks Arabic but didn’t let them know initially and the staff were speaking very rude about guests thinking no one understood There was lots of building work going on The pool was far too dirty to use There were plates of half eaten food on the roof left for days On the day we were leaving it was obvious that the place had someone wither important or the owner coming as all of a sudden there were masses of staff all frantically trying to sort the place This place ruined our trip

Schönes Riad direkt in der Medina und zentral gelegen in der Nähe des großen Marktplatzes. Guter Ausblick von der Dachterrasse. Wir hatten auch eine eigene kleiner Balkonterrasse zum Innenhof vor unserem Zimmer. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Guter Kaffee, Eier oder Spiegelei, Baguette, Marmelade, Honig , Streichkäse, Crêpes … .sehr nettes Personal. Auch der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Riad hat sehr gut geklappt (20Euro).

This riad was simply stunning. Everything was beautiful. It was also very convinetly located close to Jemma el-Fina, so close that you could see the square from the rooftop, and it was easy to get to to drop things off, or take a break while exploring the medina. I was able to drop off my bags early and explore before checking in, which was nice, and it was easy to find a cab in the square when I left early in the morning, at 5:30 am. Additionally it was nice the rooms were a bit spread out, so that you didn't really hear all your neighbors, unlike another riad I stayed at. It was the perfect place to stay.

Att vi fick checha ut efter 1 natt istället för 3 bokade nätter.
Cons: Rummet eller toaletten (fick vänta 45 på hantverkaren fixa en hasp) gick inte att stänga ordentligt eller låsa. Det var beläget på enteplan med frukost servering direkt utanför dörren. Ingen tidig kvällssömn eller sovmorgon pga alla som kom & gick utanför & slamrade i dörrarna. Sängen var för låg för (max 10 cm ben) inklämd mellan väggarna så vi fick krypa upp och ur i fotändan.. För mig ett hostal, inget hotell (för dyrt).

Our stay at Riad Persephone was truly exceptional. The place itself is gorgeous. Beautiful, clean, and authentically Moroccan. The rooftop is the real highlight: a fantastic terrace with a jacuzzi overlooking Plaza El Jamaa El Fna, absolutely unforgettable. We arrived well before the official check-in time, yet the staff welcomed us immediately with local tea and traditional pastries. From the very first day, we needed assistance for a personal matter, and everyone stepped in without hesitation. They were incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely supportive. I also have to mention how thoughtful they were about gluten-free options: they made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast, and it was truly appreciated. We tried the on-site massage and even had lunch at the riad. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended. And a heartfelt thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us.

Het personeel en de lokatie -maar ga niet te lang-
Cons: De plaatjes op de site komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Ze zijn bewerkt en is niet de realiteit. Het zwembad waar ze het op de site over hebben is een gat in de grond waar geen water in zat toen wij er waren. Het balkon wat we hadden geboekt is een binnenplaats waar je bijna niet kan bewegen. Je ruikt de rook van rokende mensen door de deur heen komen. Het dakterras heeft een prachtig uitzicht op het plein maar parasols zijn kapot en alles is viezig. Kortom voor 1 of 2 nachtjes oké maar blijf niet te lang. Ps het is lastig te vinden je wordt met taxi bij Shell afgezet en red je maar. Booking.com wil graag in contact komen met jullie maar tot nu toe niks gehoord!

Cons: Esto es personal, no tiene nada que ver con el riad, pero le puede servir a personas como yo. Yo detesto la claridad para dormir y en el riad pues entraba mucha por ambas ventana porqué no tenían persianas las habitaciones y luego la otra ventana que daba al pasillo entraba la luz del pasillo.

Beautiful Riad with incredible views over the Medina. Lots of little areas to tuck away in and just enjoy the vibes and atmosphere. There are loads of stunning plants everywhere that makes it feel like a little taste of paradise. Our room was beautiful and the bed was huge and comfy. Our shower was quite slow to drain as I think there may be a bit of a plumbing issue but it didn't take away from our overall experience. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. He made us a little take away breakfast when we had to leave early for our plane home. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We felt very safe and welcomed. Thank you!

Best things about this Riad were the location and the decor. Beautiful rooms with beautiful Moroccan finishings such as brass lamps, gypsum, etc. Nice relaxing dive pool on the bottom floor. Great location 2min walk to Jemaa Fenna.
Cons: The room descriptions are not accurate. Rooms do not have private balconies or pools but rather there are shared balconies and two shared pools. Roof pool when we stayed was broken and incredibly dirty. Rooms were nice but EXTREMELY small. We booked two rooms and both were tiny (no space on either side of the bed). The riad has the minimum number of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. meaning that it is impossible to ask for extra or replacements. Breakfast is fine but very basic for Morocco. The kind of breakfast you can find for 3 euros in the Medina. I had asked for a rollaway bed and crib and was told they would be ready prior to our arrival. When we arrive they were not set up and the room did not have space to fit them. If you struggle with claustrophobia do not stay here. Small staircases, rooms, etc. Pool is very beautiful but quickly crowded if more than 4 guests attempt to swim at once.

La struttura è un vero paradiso, sembra di stare in una favola. E tutto curato nel dettaglio, la scelta dei colori, dell'arredo, tutto è stato speciale.
Cons: Tutto sommato mi e piaciuto tutto, soprattutto la cordialitá e gentilezza dello staff. L'unica cosa su cui avrei da ridire è che la stanza non veniva pulita tutti i giorni. L'arrivo è stato speciale , stanza immacolata e profumatissima. Dopo , per tutta la durata del soggiorno non sono state fatte pulizie, cambio lenzuola e asciugamani. Per il resto tutto perfetto

De ligging is fantastisch, dicht bij het Jamaâ el Fna Plein. Het is rustig en geen last van de drukte. Idyllisch en gezellig ingericht. De kamer was schoon en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk.
Cons: Er ging elke ochtend om 05:20 een wekker af van de “buren” in het naastgelegen pand. Deze bleef 20 minuten afgaan, tsja dan ben je dus elke dag om deze tijd wakker. Het ontbijt is vrij laat. 08:30 gaan ze beginnen om per persoon een dienblad met eten klaar te maken dus eer de laatste heeft gegeten ben je wel een uurtje verder. Jammer dat de jacuzzi niet echt heel fris was en het “zwembad” (meer een dompelbadje) van 2x2 is bij de receptie/ontbijt ruimte, daar maak je misschien niet zo snel gebruik van. De badkuip in de kamer was “lek” dus die liep snel leeg. De trappen naar de kamer zijn wel een dingetje als je last hebt van je knieën en enkel. Er zijn wel kamers op de begaande grond die je van te voren aan kan boeken.

Cons: El desayuno es muy tarde (8'30 am) y muy repetitivo, además de muy lento en el momento de servir: El primer día esperamos 30 minutos hasta que nos sirvieron. El resto de días sólo 20 minutos. En la habitación falta algún lugar donde colgar la ropa (no hay armario), puesto que el palo que simula un perchero es más decorativo que funcional.

I loved the decor in this riad, its cute and unique. The terrace is lovely with a view of the square. It could def be cleaner plus my sheets smelt so badly that it disturbed my sleep, but they didnt look or feel dirty, just smelt. Be aware that if you have mobility issues, at a certain point in the day, cars can only drop you off a 10 min walk from the riad. But in the morning cars can come as close as cafe de france on the main square, which is a 3 min walk away. I had an unpleasant incident staying at this riad but Omar the manager dealt with things so professionally, the proprietor Alain got involved too and they all neatly and diplomatically found a solution to the problem. I was really impressed with Omar as it could have been a really ugly situation and it couldve really intimidated me (me dealing with 3 men at midnight) but he dealt with it amazingly.

Cons: Voor mij persoonlijk viel het ontbijt tegen en was elke dag hetzelfde. De badkamer was klein, alsook de douche. Bijna geen plaats om iets op te zetten of aan te hangen, dus bagage uitladen is geen optie. Hammam was niet echt warm en jammer genoeg geld gestolen tijdens het bezoek van de hammam.

I liked its location its a slight walk away from the main square and souks an ideal spot for exploring. The facilities provided were great and the room was comfortable and all you need for a traditional riad experience. Decorated lovely a excellent view from the rooftop area. Cons: Contraté una habitación y cuando llegué me encontré con que me dieron otra. Reclamé y me dijeron que la otra no estaba disponible. Ni siquiera me avisaron antes de llegar por si quería cambiar de habitación o buscar otro hotel que se adaptara a mis necesidades. Me llevaron hasta la habitación y fue dentro de ella cuando nos dimos cuenta de que no era la que cogimos. Aún reclamando no hicieron mucho. Luego a la hora de pagar el hotel no les funcionaba la máquina para pagar con tarjeta, tampoco tenían dinero para darme cambio… un caos total. Y otra cosa por la que no repetiría en este hotel es por el desayuno. Estaba rico pero empieza a las 8:30 lo cual te limita mucho si quieres salir temprano del hotel comido…

Cons: Het staat op website dat je vroeg jan inchecken maar het was niet zo, gelukkig is snel en adequaat gehandeld door eigenaar zelf, minpunt is dat communicatie tussen de jongens die daar werken is niet zo best, ik bookte hammam naar er was niet gereserveerd, later kwam die vrouw gewoon niet, dus ik heb gecanceld. Ik kreeg geld terug

Établissement très bien situé à 200 mètres de la place Jemaa El Fna, d’ailleurs le rooftop donne sur une très jolie vue de la place et la Koutoubia, la piscine et le jaccuzi c’est vraiment un plus. Le personnel est hyper sympa et disponible

Cons: El aire acondicionado en verano no es suficiente. Lo comentamos con el persona y vino un técnico que solucionó el problema.

Ryad Persephone is a great choice while visiting Marraquexe. Its right in the heart of the medina and next to Jemaa El Fna square, one of the most typical places in Marrakesh. Great ambiance and beautiful sightseeings. The crew is awesome and they even gave me a free Hammam massage and a set of souvenirs. The terrace is awesome and it has even a small pool/jacuzzi for relaxing. You also can smoke some narguilé/shisha by request. Highly recomend
