Cons: L'un des employés a simplement tenté de nous soutirer de l'argent tout au long du séjour, nous attendant parfois à 22h le soir lorsque nous rentrions, ne réservez surtout pas les activités via le riad, les prix sont à la tête du client. Également un gros problème d'eau chaude tous les soirs.

Fab location, less than a minute’s walk from the main square but still felt quiet and peaceful. Really friendly staff, very welcoming. The riad itself is beautiful.
Cons: The room was stunning, but a lot smaller than it looked online. There is about 1m of space from the bed to the bathroom and door, with no storage. It was also quite noisy due to being located directly opposite reception, although we were up and out most days so didn’t bother us too much.

Apprezzata la colazione inclusa nonostante sulla prenotazione non risultasse. Struttura molto caratteristica, con arredi e lampade in autentico stile marocchino. Hammam privato davvero rilassante, piccolo ma ben organizzato, esperienza consigliata.
Cons: Suite con balcone (camera al piano terra con terrazzino) un po’ esposta e in questo periodo non particolarmente valorizzante. La sera la camera risulta fredda, con spifferi, e leggermente rumorosa. Presenza di un po’ di formichine in stanza, talvolta sul letto. Pagamento richiesto solo in contanti, meglio organizzarsi per tempo.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux au Riad Perséphone à Marrakech. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillies avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme par Rita. Elle est vraiment adorable et attentive, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié son attention au moment du départ avec un petit cadeau qui nous a beaucoup touchés. De très belles intentions qui font toute la différence. Un grand merci également à Anas, toujours souriant, à l’écoute et extrêmement serviable. Il nous a organisé une excursion sur mesure à notre demande, qui correspondait parfaitement à nos attentes. Son implication et son professionnalisme ont vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le riad est d’une propreté irréprochable, le personnel est très gentil et attentionné, notamment au moment du petit déjeuner. Le petit déjeuner est parfait : très complet, copieux et délicieux. Le jacuzzi sur le rooftop est un vrai plus, surtout au coucher du soleil avec la vue sur la place Jemaa El Fna : un moment magique que nous n’oublierons pas. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons ce riad à 300 % pour vivre une expérience magnifique en plein cœur de Marrakech. Encore merci à toute l’équipe pour ces beaux moments.

Everything. Literally. I cannot say enough positive things about my entire experience at Riad Persephone. My room was absolutely stunning, on the roof terrace with its own set of steps leading up to the room and its own private terrace. My bed was so comfortable and the entire room was extremely clean. The member of staff informed me that the concept of the riad is that every room is different which really showed in the entire aesthetic of the place. It was the most beautiful and interesting riad I have stayed in thus far. Just staying was an experience in itself and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time I am in Marrakesh. The design of the riad is truly astounding. Upon arrival, I was given a tour of the riad and then welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries overlooking the pool in a little quirky library alcove. The roof terrace has a really up close view of the main square (Jemaa el-Fna) which you don't always get in a Riad (sometimes you're just looking at walls/buildings lol). The breakfast was really good here as well, which, have stayed at about 5 riads at this point you don't always get the same level of quality as I got here. When I left a woman working there have me some beautiful products as a thank you for staying at Riad Persephone which I found to be such a beautiful touch. Can't wait to stay with you guys again!
Cons: One thing and one thing only was the lady who did my hammam asked me to my face for a tip which I did not like at all and I found unprofessional. I understand cultural differences but I really don't think this is a good thing and could make someone feel very uncomfortable because how can you respond in that moment... Obviously you could say no to her face but... Aside from that, the riad itself and my experience there with the other members of staff was 20/10 See you guys soon :) SHAUNA XX

Everything! The accommodation is more magical than we could have imagined, not just the rooms but also the communal areas. Sitting in the library by the pool after meandering the streets of Marrakech with a traditional Moroccan Tea was incredibly relaxing. The location is second to none, just far enough away from the main square to escape the wonderful madness, yet only a 2 minute stroll right into it. You can also watch the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnna medina from the rooftop - with a Spa! But most of all, the hospitality from the staff was out of this world, in particular for us Anas and Rita... Thankyou! Having never visited Morocco, you made us feel so very welcome and looked after, we can not wait to return. Brilliant stay. Hands down recommend for all.

Everything. It is a beautiful Riad, and a very short walk to the main square...once you are in Marrakech you realise how important it is to be able to find your accommodation easily!! The rooms are beautiful and atmospheric, and the roof terrace and hot tub are wonderful, with great views across the square one way and to the Atlas mountains the other. The staff are exceptionally kind and friendly, and we felt very welcome 🙏

Riad Persephone e stata proprio una bella scoperta . Proprio a 200 MT dalla piazza principale ma supersilenzioso . Piante ovunque , sembra di essere in un giardino verde da quante piante ci sono e tutto questo rende il Ryad un posto molto rilassante e che trasmette tranquillita. I ragazzi all'accoglienza Anas e la collega Rita sono stati super gentili , parlano un inglese veramente ottimo e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi informazione o richiesta . Ottima struttura con una terrazza con Jacuzzi che non posso nemmeno descriverla.
Cons: nulla ... Suggerirei magari fi mettere un cassettone di stile magrebino in camera . Ma e giusto un suggerimento da arredatore 😉

Cons: El check in decia que era de 7 am a 12 del día, llegamos aproximadamente 9 am cuando nos comentan que debemos esperara 1 hora para que nos entregaran la habitación, además de cobrarnos los impuestos solamente en EFECTIVO. Al pasar la primera hora, nos dicen que hasta las 13 pm nos harán entrega, lo cual, no fue cierto, todavía nos piden 20 min más (pasada las 13 hrs) para limpiar la habitación. Además de ser yo quien constantemente preguntaba por el status de nuestro cuarto, sin tener actualizaciones por iniciativa peopia de los encargados. Requiere de mantenimiento y un poco más de limpieza algunas zonas.

とにかく内装が素晴らしかったです！私はヘナという部屋だったのですが、次に機会があれば屋上の部屋に泊まってみたいと思いました。それとフナ広場に近いところもポイントが高いです。マラケシュの主要観光地の真ん中にあるので、観光巡りしながら自室に戻ってトイレを使用→再度探索ということができました。あとトイレが自動温水式便座だったので感動しました❕

Оригинальный дизайн, множество декоративных замысловатых предметов от чеканных умывальников и кубков для вина, до ламп цветного стекла, расписных окон и каменных мозаичных столешниц. Риад полон растений и деревьев в горшках, крыша с джакузи, россыпь укромных уголков там и тут с диванчиками, пуфами, небольшой бассейн и свой маленький хамам. Мы побывали в нескольких риадах за эту поездку и все они хороши, но этот удивил! Наверное в жару здесь рай, жаль мы были в январе )

The Lotus Suite had an amazing bathroom and is located just steps away from the serene pool..will be coming back and staying here for all of my stay next time as this was the best of the 3 places that I stayed on this visit.

Location is easy to find even with directions from taxi drop off location (not necessary to pay for hotel taxi). Welcome tea and treats were lovely. Nicely decorated in common areas.
Cons: Bed has a very distinct sag into the middle. Bedroom window opens to common patio area - if you don’t smoke having people right below your window blowing smoke in is a very unpleasant way to start each day - and everyone seems to smoke here! Drain in shower does not go quickly, bathtub in room although pretty doesn’t hold water and can’t be filled even a 1/4 before the hot water runs out. Wifi for our area of the riad did not work for the entire three days. Each staff promised it would be fixed - with different excuses “it’s Sunday, for sure tomorrow” or saying “someone was coming in 30 min to fix it” etc etc. not convinced anyone was taking action.

This is an exceptional riad with a beautiful interior and amazing hospitality. We were well looked after by Rita and other colleagues. We had some small issues with our initial room but were acommodated all the way throughout. The team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Posizione comodissima in centro alla medina e immediatamente raggiungibile. Lo staff è molto gradevole e gentile. Pulizia ok. La struttura è accogliente, molte piante, bei colori, uccellini che cinguettano, spazi per hammam e massaggi all'interno, vasca idromassaggio sul terrazzo. Reception 24/7. La camera da letto (Olenadro) è bella.
Cons: Per il prezzo pagato, seppur considerato che era l'ultima settimana dell'anno, alcune cose non sono accettabili: colazione gradevole, ma poco più che sufficiente (come varietà e qualità, considerata la pasticceria marocchina e la frutta disponibile); la camera, lunga e stretta per la presenza di una bellissima (ma inutile) vasca da bagno bordo letto (in aggiunta alla doccia nel bagno) non aveva nessun armadio, guardaroba o cassettiera (per cui abbiamo lasciato per 4 notti tutti i vestiti dentro la valigia a terra e un trolly chiuso appoggiato alla finestra); ok gli asciugamani che si cambiano sole se serve, ma non è normale dover esplicitamente richiedere il riordino del letto; lo scarico della doccia non funzionava e faceva pozzanghera (hanno provato a risolvere il problema a più riprese, ma sfortunatamente sempre senza successo); nessun accappatoio e ciabattine in camera (come invece letto in descrizione), che invece sarebbero stati utili per sfruttare un minimo l'idromassaggio sul tetto, raggiungibile solo attraverso spazi comuni esterni e senza spogliatoio limitrofo.

Es war eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung in dem Riad zu übernachten. Wir wurden so herzlich aufgenommen. Als wir früher bei dem Riad ankommen als gedacht, haben wir Tee und Gebäck bekommen und konnten in einer sehr schönen Lounge mit Pool verweilen. Das ganze Personal war super herzlich. Das Zimmer war auch super schön. Leider hatten wir nur eine Nacht dort verbracht.

When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome from Nour who offered me tea and cake in the common area before showing me my room for the stay. Throughout my time there the staff was always friendly and helpful in all matters. The interior of the riad had both a clean and beautiful, almost magic like design and the place is located right in the busy heart of the Medina, yet not noisy at all. I really enjoyed staying there, thanks for having me!

Excellent staff, really helpful. Did not take money for coffee and tea when I checked out.(was going to write positive review anyway) Got gifts. Heater that works, really useful in Marrakesh winter. Heated toilet seat, amazing in winter.
Cons: My room was small, bed took the whole room. Breakfast was meh. The price of this place fluctuates quite a bit, from day to day, unlike other places.

Cons: Enfin de compte le petit déjeuner car il servait le petit déjeuner à partir de 8 h le matin et nous le taxi nous prenait à 8 h pour nous emmener à l aéroport donc on nous a donné un donuts en sachet pas terrible du tout , 1 yaourt et une petite bouteille de jus d orange pareil pas terrible . Je trouve ça un peu limite quand même surtout quand on voit le prix que l on a payé pour une nuit et surtout le petit déjeuner était compris . Envisagée pour peut être pour les gens qui repartent tôt une horaire flexible .

Cons: The breakfast was ok, but we missed a bit of western food such as yoghurt or fruit. And the room didnt get cleaned, no fresh towels. But it was so beautiful we didnt mind much.

The Riad is absolutely amazing all round, fantastic location, amazing facilities and the staff were exceptional. I will 100% be staying here again when I go back to marrakech. The suite was worth it.
Cons: Riads do have thin walls so it can be a little loud, with the central location you can also hear the square in the evening (which i didnt mind) and you will hear the morning call to prayer (which again I didnt mind) something to be aware of though if you sleep poorly or are a late riser.

Sehr zentral gelegen und nicht so schwer zu finden, wie manch andere Unterkunft in der Medina. Highlight sind der beheizte Pool auf dem Dach und die beheizte Klobrille. Alles Sauber. Nettes Team. bequemes Bett.
Cons: Die Heizung hätte besser funktionieren können. Es stehen etwas zu viele Pflanzen rum. Das ist eigentlich kein Problem, aber da es geregnet hat, ist man unnötig nass geworden. Das Loch vor der Eingangstür sollte mal repariert werden.

What's not to like, everything was amazing. Love all the beautiful intricate touches in the bedroom, the lanterns, the plants and the maze of steps and 2 inner courtyards, one with a pool, one with an oasis breakfast area. The rooftop seating area with jacuzzi and sunbeds was a welcome break from our shopping and haggling in the Souks of the Medina, which are literally on the doorstep. We love this Riad and the staff were super helpful. We had a Hammam Massage on site which was an incredible experience. 100 percent recommend Persephone.
Cons: Wouldn't change a thing.

Lo mejor sin duda es la ubicación a dos minutos de la famosa plaza Jemaa el fna. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y la cama muy cómoda. Sábanas y toallas limpias. El desayuno es una maravilla y tomarlo cada mañana en ése precioso patio entre árboles frutales con el sonido del agua corriendo y los pájaros... no se puede pedir más. Las vistas desde la azotea del riad a la plaza, la koutoubia y el atlas de fondo, increíble!!!!. No olvides tu bañador hay un jacuzzi al aire libre con el agua súper caliente, genial! Tambien hay una pequeña piscina en la planta baja que no usamos y la opción de hammam junto a ésta. El personal fué amable y sonriente en todo momento, nadie nos agobió para comprar ninguno de los servicios que ofrecen, ni tampoco cambiaron su actitud hacia nosotras al ver que no compramos nada de lo que ofertaban.
Cons: Las habitaciones son bastante oscuras pero tampoco me pareció terrible. El mobiliaro de la azotea está un poco descuidado le podían dar una vuelta al tema la verdad porque daría otra impresión. Se ven lámparas sin colocar que las han dejado encima de un sofá y llevan allí tiempo, ése tipo de cosas... le haría falta un poco más de mantenimiento y luciría increíble. Hay dos escaleras diferentes de acceso a las habitaciones y la que nos tocó a nosotras llega un momento en el que las escaleras son muy empinadas!!!!! Imposibles para personas con movilidad reducida, no era nuestro caso. Encontrar el riad por primera vez es otro de los puntos negativos. Una vez sabes el camino es muuuuy fácil. CONSEJO: buscar el Café de France en medio de la plaza y es ahí mismo se accede desde ésa calle.

Uitstekende locatie, binnen 1 minuut in de Medina en op het grote plein waar alles gebeurd. Veel taxi's en tuc tuc in de buurt om makkelijk ergens naar toe te gaan. Voor slechts 11 euro en in 20 minuutjes ben je bij het vliegveld. Het ontbijt was echt zoals verwacht, niet luxe maar voldoende, pannekoekje, vers gebakken mais koekje, stokbrood, beleg, eitje en koffie en thee. De kamer werd tussendoor niet schoongemaakt maar je kon wel om schone handdoeken vragen. Wij hadden de kamer op the rooftop en die was zo bleek achteraf de grootste met een redelijk goed bed, alleen harde kussens. Maar we kregen op ons verzoek zachtere. De andere kamers zijn wel vrij klein maar je komt tenslotte ook niet naar Marrakech om op je kamer te zitten.
Cons: Het was allemaal in verhouding maar zelf had ik de kamer iets beter uitgerust met bijvoorbeeld een planchetje om je toiletspullen op te zetter en een tafeltje om je koffer op te zetten en licht boven de wastafel.

Equipé d'un frigo. Petit déjeuner maison parfait. Réelle ambiance de riad. Service de blanchisserie à un prix raisonnable. Très proche de le la place Jemaa El Fna.
Cons: Pas d'insonorisation dans la chambre, des bouchons d'oreilles sont à prévoir. La piscine n'était pas opérationnelle lors de notre séjour.

riad meraviglioso, prezzo un po’ più alto rispetto agli altri ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. la struttura è molto accogliente a due passi dalla piazza principale. un luogo di relax in mezzo al caos della medina. il rooftop è eccezionale, con una vista da sogno e una jacuzzi riscaldata accessibile in ogni momento. il personale è estremamente gentile ed ha soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza come la stampa dei biglietti aerei e il servizio taxi verso l’aeroporto. super consigliato!!!

Cons: Ma mère a 70 ans et la baignoire n’était pas adaptée pour son âge , la marche est beaucoup trop haute . Il faudrait le préciser sur les descriptions des chambres. Une lumière un peu plus intense serait appréciable , notamment pour se maquiller .

Cons: It was a building site. The room smelt The place was dirty. My friend speaks Arabic but didn’t let them know initially and the staff were speaking very rude about guests thinking no one understood There was lots of building work going on The pool was far too dirty to use There were plates of half eaten food on the roof left for days On the day we were leaving it was obvious that the place had someone wither important or the owner coming as all of a sudden there were masses of staff all frantically trying to sort the place This place ruined our trip

Die Leute an der Rezeption sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit...bei Fragen kann man sich immer an sie wenden...die Zimmer erinnern an 1000 und 1 Nacht und sind wirklich romantisch...das Frühstück war auch gut, hartgekochte Eier, Osaft und süßes...
Cons: Leider waren die Betten für mich persönlich viel zu weich...aber das ist eine individuelle Sache...mir fehlte ein Mülleimer auf der Toilette und ein Föhn...vl kann man da was für die Zukunft ändern...alles in allem aber ein super Aufenthalt

Schönes Riad direkt in der Medina und zentral gelegen in der Nähe des großen Marktplatzes. Guter Ausblick von der Dachterrasse. Wir hatten auch eine eigene kleiner Balkonterrasse zum Innenhof vor unserem Zimmer. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Guter Kaffee, Eier oder Spiegelei, Baguette, Marmelade, Honig , Streichkäse, Crêpes … .sehr nettes Personal. Auch der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Riad hat sehr gut geklappt (20Euro).

This riad was simply stunning. Everything was beautiful. It was also very convinetly located close to Jemma el-Fina, so close that you could see the square from the rooftop, and it was easy to get to to drop things off, or take a break while exploring the medina. I was able to drop off my bags early and explore before checking in, which was nice, and it was easy to find a cab in the square when I left early in the morning, at 5:30 am. Additionally it was nice the rooms were a bit spread out, so that you didn't really hear all your neighbors, unlike another riad I stayed at. It was the perfect place to stay.

Att vi fick checha ut efter 1 natt istället för 3 bokade nätter.
Cons: Rummet eller toaletten (fick vänta 45 på hantverkaren fixa en hasp) gick inte att stänga ordentligt eller låsa. Det var beläget på enteplan med frukost servering direkt utanför dörren. Ingen tidig kvällssömn eller sovmorgon pga alla som kom & gick utanför & slamrade i dörrarna. Sängen var för låg för (max 10 cm ben) inklämd mellan väggarna så vi fick krypa upp och ur i fotändan.. För mig ett hostal, inget hotell (för dyrt).

Our stay at Riad Persephone was truly exceptional. The place itself is gorgeous. Beautiful, clean, and authentically Moroccan. The rooftop is the real highlight: a fantastic terrace with a jacuzzi overlooking Plaza El Jamaa El Fna, absolutely unforgettable. We arrived well before the official check-in time, yet the staff welcomed us immediately with local tea and traditional pastries. From the very first day, we needed assistance for a personal matter, and everyone stepped in without hesitation. They were incredibly kind, caring, and genuinely supportive. I also have to mention how thoughtful they were about gluten-free options: they made sure we had everything we needed at breakfast, and it was truly appreciated. We tried the on-site massage and even had lunch at the riad. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommended. And a heartfelt thank you to the entire team for taking such good care of us.

Me gustó la ubicación, la atención del personal muy amable. Desayuno muy bueno y preparado al momento, aunque algunos días por tema de excursiones nos íbamos antes y nos daban el desayuno para llevar, todo un detalle por su parte.
Cons: Esto es personal, no tiene nada que ver con el riad, pero le puede servir a personas como yo. Yo detesto la claridad para dormir y en el riad pues entraba mucha por ambas ventana porqué no tenían persianas las habitaciones y luego la otra ventana que daba al pasillo entraba la luz del pasillo.

Cons: De plaatjes op de site komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Ze zijn bewerkt en is niet de realiteit. Het zwembad waar ze het op de site over hebben is een gat in de grond waar geen water in zat toen wij er waren. Het balkon wat we hadden geboekt is een binnenplaats waar je bijna niet kan bewegen. Je ruikt de rook van rokende mensen door de deur heen komen. Het dakterras heeft een prachtig uitzicht op het plein maar parasols zijn kapot en alles is viezig. Kortom voor 1 of 2 nachtjes oké maar blijf niet te lang. Ps het is lastig te vinden je wordt met taxi bij Shell afgezet en red je maar. Booking.com wil graag in contact komen met jullie maar tot nu toe niks gehoord!

Beautiful Riad with incredible views over the Medina. Lots of little areas to tuck away in and just enjoy the vibes and atmosphere. There are loads of stunning plants everywhere that makes it feel like a little taste of paradise. Our room was beautiful and the bed was huge and comfy. Our shower was quite slow to drain as I think there may be a bit of a plumbing issue but it didn't take away from our overall experience. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. He made us a little take away breakfast when we had to leave early for our plane home. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We felt very safe and welcomed. Thank you!

El Riad esta ubicado en el centro de la medina a dos cuadras de la plaza principal. El desayuno es muy bueno. Nosotros llegamos a la madrugada porque nuestro vuelo se atraso y la recepción estuvo a disposición. La verdad es que fue una muy buena experiencia

Best things about this Riad were the location and the decor. Beautiful rooms with beautiful Moroccan finishings such as brass lamps, gypsum, etc. Nice relaxing dive pool on the bottom floor. Great location 2min walk to Jemaa Fenna.
Cons: The room descriptions are not accurate. Rooms do not have private balconies or pools but rather there are shared balconies and two shared pools. Roof pool when we stayed was broken and incredibly dirty. Rooms were nice but EXTREMELY small. We booked two rooms and both were tiny (no space on either side of the bed). The riad has the minimum number of towels, sheets, pillows, etc. meaning that it is impossible to ask for extra or replacements. Breakfast is fine but very basic for Morocco. The kind of breakfast you can find for 3 euros in the Medina. I had asked for a rollaway bed and crib and was told they would be ready prior to our arrival. When we arrive they were not set up and the room did not have space to fit them. If you struggle with claustrophobia do not stay here. Small staircases, rooms, etc. Pool is very beautiful but quickly crowded if more than 4 guests attempt to swim at once.

La struttura è un vero paradiso, sembra di stare in una favola. E tutto curato nel dettaglio, la scelta dei colori, dell'arredo, tutto è stato speciale.
Cons: Tutto sommato mi e piaciuto tutto, soprattutto la cordialitá e gentilezza dello staff. L'unica cosa su cui avrei da ridire è che la stanza non veniva pulita tutti i giorni. L'arrivo è stato speciale , stanza immacolata e profumatissima. Dopo , per tutta la durata del soggiorno non sono state fatte pulizie, cambio lenzuola e asciugamani. Per il resto tutto perfetto

De ligging is fantastisch, dicht bij het Jamaâ el Fna Plein. Het is rustig en geen last van de drukte. Idyllisch en gezellig ingericht. De kamer was schoon en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk.
Cons: Er ging elke ochtend om 05:20 een wekker af van de “buren” in het naastgelegen pand. Deze bleef 20 minuten afgaan, tsja dan ben je dus elke dag om deze tijd wakker. Het ontbijt is vrij laat. 08:30 gaan ze beginnen om per persoon een dienblad met eten klaar te maken dus eer de laatste heeft gegeten ben je wel een uurtje verder. Jammer dat de jacuzzi niet echt heel fris was en het “zwembad” (meer een dompelbadje) van 2x2 is bij de receptie/ontbijt ruimte, daar maak je misschien niet zo snel gebruik van. De badkuip in de kamer was “lek” dus die liep snel leeg. De trappen naar de kamer zijn wel een dingetje als je last hebt van je knieën en enkel. Er zijn wel kamers op de begaande grond die je van te voren aan kan boeken.

Cons: El desayuno es muy tarde (8'30 am) y muy repetitivo, además de muy lento en el momento de servir: El primer día esperamos 30 minutos hasta que nos sirvieron. El resto de días sólo 20 minutos. En la habitación falta algún lugar donde colgar la ropa (no hay armario), puesto que el palo que simula un perchero es más decorativo que funcional.

I loved the decor in this riad, its cute and unique. The terrace is lovely with a view of the square. It could def be cleaner plus my sheets smelt so badly that it disturbed my sleep, but they didnt look or feel dirty, just smelt. Be aware that if you have mobility issues, at a certain point in the day, cars can only drop you off a 10 min walk from the riad. But in the morning cars can come as close as cafe de france on the main square, which is a 3 min walk away. I had an unpleasant incident staying at this riad but Omar the manager dealt with things so professionally, the proprietor Alain got involved too and they all neatly and diplomatically found a solution to the problem. I was really impressed with Omar as it could have been a really ugly situation and it couldve really intimidated me (me dealing with 3 men at midnight) but he dealt with it amazingly.

Cons: Voor mij persoonlijk viel het ontbijt tegen en was elke dag hetzelfde. De badkamer was klein, alsook de douche. Bijna geen plaats om iets op te zetten of aan te hangen, dus bagage uitladen is geen optie. Hammam was niet echt warm en jammer genoeg geld gestolen tijdens het bezoek van de hammam.

I liked its location its a slight walk away from the main square and souks an ideal spot for exploring. The facilities provided were great and the room was comfortable and all you need for a traditional riad experience. Decorated lovely a excellent view from the rooftop area. Cons: Contraté una habitación y cuando llegué me encontré con que me dieron otra. Reclamé y me dijeron que la otra no estaba disponible. Ni siquiera me avisaron antes de llegar por si quería cambiar de habitación o buscar otro hotel que se adaptara a mis necesidades. Me llevaron hasta la habitación y fue dentro de ella cuando nos dimos cuenta de que no era la que cogimos. Aún reclamando no hicieron mucho. Luego a la hora de pagar el hotel no les funcionaba la máquina para pagar con tarjeta, tampoco tenían dinero para darme cambio… un caos total. Y otra cosa por la que no repetiría en este hotel es por el desayuno. Estaba rico pero empieza a las 8:30 lo cual te limita mucho si quieres salir temprano del hotel comido…

Cuando llegamos y vi el callejón por donde entras no pensé que iba a encontrar un sitio tan bonito. Tiene muchas comodidades, plantas, el baño turco de la azotea, la piscina para descansar del calor. La habitación que cogimos fue una superior y era preciosa. El personal muy atento, las trabajadoras hacen unos desayunos muy ricos. Omar ha sido muy atento en todo momento,si necesitábamos algo nos atendía, nos consiguió un taxi al aeropuerto. Lo recomiendo mucho si quieres vivir una experiencia 100% . Además los atardeceres desde la terraza son súper bonitos.

The facilities are amazing, the rooms are divine, the staff are exceptional and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our breakfast & the romantic lunch we took at the hotel. L'équipe de l'hôtel a été très accueillante et a facilité notre séjour. Le toit terrasse donne sur la place Jemaa el-Fna ce qui permet d'être très en lien avec la vibration de la ville tout en étant protégé. Son accès donne facilement la possibilité de visites et de mise au frais grâce au bassin frais du bas.
Cons: Que l'espace près du bassin du bas avec ses canapés propice au repos ne soit pas matérialisé comme "un espace tranquille" demandant aux hôtes de bien vouloir mettre les téléphones en silencieux pour le bien de tous, qu'un réglement intérieur stipule le fait que le calme est le bienvenu dans les espaces d'un riad qui amène de la promiscuité entre les personnes.

Y qué decir de Amina, la encargada de la cocina… Sus desayunos eran un verdadero placer, preparados con cuidado y ese toque casero que se nota en cada bocado. Great location—colorful and charming with an authentic Riad feel. The staff were cheerful and helpful. I appreciated that my gluten-free breakfast requests were accommodated, and I felt the staff did their best to provide us with freshly cut fruit, etc. The quality varied, but one particular staff member was fantastic—whenever she was around, the variety and quality of the fruit noticeably improved! The resident cats and large turtle were a delightful surprise—very cute and fun to watch. I also liked the colorful decor and greenery. However, some of the public areas, especially the furniture on the rooftop terrace, could be cleaned more thoroughly for a more comfortable experience. The room itself was spotlessly clean, including the private terrace directly connected to it.
Cons: Based on other reviews prior to booking, I mentally prepared myself not to expect too much. However, the room I rented (Suite with Terrace / Bird of Paradise Room) had far more problems than anticipated—especially considering its premium price.The staff were kind and genuinely tried their best to address the issues, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, most of the problems were not resolved, leaving us with the feeling that we paid too much for a "premium" room that failed to deliver on its promised amenities - so I was a little bit disappointed (and my husband very unimpressed) and our one-week stay felt more chaotic than relaxing. 1. The internet in the room did not work and was never fixed (reported on Day 1). We had to go outside to the terrace or use the downstairs lounge to get online. 2.The advertised bathtub did not work properly and remained unusable despite multiple repair attempts. Maintenance workers came twice, and staff visited several times, which I appreciated—but it added to the overall sense of disruption and stress. 3.The air conditioning functioned but leaked heavily, with water constantly draining into the room (reported on Day 1, never fixed). 4. Several fixtures were loose or broken, including the toilet paper holder (coming off the wall) and the shower head. There were additional minor issues I won’t list here, but I did inform the staff and strongly recommended they address them before the next guest arrives. However, I have a feeling this may be difficult, possibly due to deeper structural or management issues within the riad.

The property is very charming and instagrammable and has a very central location. The hot tub on the ceiling was fun.
Cons: What the pictures don’t show is that everywhere felt a bit dirty and shabby. All surfaces and chairs in the common areas were quite dirty. The room had so much humidity that hanging towels were still wet/humid after 24 hours. Also the beautiful inside pool is not warmed which was a shame. The staff is sweet but communication and customer service skills could be improved for an even better experience. Also, payment for the stay was required in cash when checking in.

Beautiful riad, with lovely interior decor and atmosphere; the pool was beautiful and the inner garden had a tortoise and a cat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good views from the rooftop, perfect to enjoy a few glasses of Moroccan tea. Very conveniently located, just a minute away from the market square and very close within walking distance of other attractions, such as the Bahia Palace or the El Badi Palace, yet in a very quiet area away from all the bustle and noise.
Cons: The air conditioning was working, but wasn't really cooling (I'm guessing it was out of refrigerant substance), but at least worked as a fan. It also would have been nice to be able to crack open the bathroom window, for some ventilation. There was only cold water in the bathroom, which we didn't mind because it was very hot outside so cold showers were pleasant, but it might be useful to know.

Nous avons réservé avec ma maman une chambre dans ce Riad pour 6 nuits et petit déjeuner inclus. Celui ci est bien garni et délicieux. La patio et la piscine intérieurs sont très reposants et nous y sommes au frais. Sur la terrasse du ROOFTOP le jaccuzi est très appréciable pour se détendre. Il y une belle vue sur la place Jamaâ el Fna avec un magnifique couché de soleil. Je recommande également les massages que le Riad Persephone propose. La Riad est très très bien situé, vous êtes à 2 minutes à pieds de la place Jamaâ el Fna, des commerces et restaurants. Un grand merci à tous le personnel et spécialement à Ouissal, Mounir et Sofiane pour leur accueil, gentillesse et disponibilité. Der Ort lädt zum abschalten und genießen ein. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns in diesem Ort verliebt und würden jederzeit nochmal dort einchecken.

We stayed in the most gorgeous, romantic room. It featured classic Moroccan style with the shower encapsulated in a blue dome, and the bed showered in Moroccan lanterns. I chose this Riad because of the room. The staff were amazing - all so kind, additionally, we met the owner who told us the back story of this Riad and that was a lovely accompaniment. The breakfast (inc in price) was lovely, ans varied throughout our stay. The grounds were well kept, beautiful and quite often we were the only two making use of the facilities - very private feeling.

Bonne localisation au coeur de la Médina. Décoration 'dépaysante' et colorée.
Cons: Accumulation de détails décevants liés surtout au service: pas de serviette en chambre puis à notre demande elles nous ont été posées un peu négligemment sur le lit mais l'une d'elles était largement trouée. Pas de passage en chambre d'une nuitée à l'autre, donc pas de literie refaite et surtout nous avions donc une poubelle de sdb pas vidée (dommage car j'étais enrhumé elle était donc pleine à rabord de mouchoirs). Impression d'une zone de dépôt dans un coin de la chambre: un frigo vide collé à un chauffage sur roulette inutile lui aussi, le tout assez inesthétique. Des bougies chauffes plats non remplacées, à notre arrivée et des housses d'oreillers décoratives déchirées. Une lumière de SDB très tamisée (donc pas fonctionnelle). Petit déjeuner un peu décevant (du jus en bouteille pour une nuitée à +de 100 euros) Et pour finir nous avons demandé s'il était possible de nous imprimer 2 boarding pass, cela n'a pas été fait, au motif d'absence de papier. On nous a pourtant bien assuré 2fois que ce serait fait. Personnel au desk d'accueil accueillant mais le service ne suit pas. Personnel cuisine très accueillant. Chambre mal insonorisée, on pouvait entendre une simple conversation depuis la piscine, de notre chambre fermée. + bruit du jacuzzi en terrasse assez fort et cela après minuit.

Cons: Not enough storage in our room could have done with a small cupboard. Breakfast was very bland. Some fruit would have been nice as it’s so plentiful in Morocco. The card machine was apparently ‘out of order’ so as the banks would only give us 2000 dirham per day it took several days to be able to pay our bill in cash.

Nous avons réserver un cours de cuisine au sein du Riad qui a était une aventure palpitante au pays des goûts et des milles odeurs divine . Nous avons également put profiter du spa et d'un massage de très haute qualité au sein du Riad . La décoration des chambres nous as également laisser sans voix, , le propriétaire a su y marié une élégance rare avec un charme orientale qui ne peux laisser indifférent, un grand bravo pour ces œuvres. on peux également trouver des petits chats et des tortues qui participe à la beauté du lieu . Ce Riad est tout simplement une perle rare nichée à quelque mètre de la place la plus importante de Marrakech , en tant que grand voyageur et ayant un avis très français sur les établissement que je fréquente lors de mes voyages , je ne peux que vous inciter à venir vivre cette expérience vous ne le regretterai pas . Étant mon deuxième séjour au sein de cette établissement, je reviendrai encore de nombreuses fois pour vivre ce rêve éveillé , merci à tous le personnel d'entretenir de permettre aux voyageurs de pouvoir vivre ce rêve !

It's a lovely place. People are friendly and helpful. The decor is quaint.
Cons: The location means at times, it's difficult to access. No taxi or bus is getting within a mile, when the square is busy. Which is every single evening. We had to traverse the market with full luggage for over a mile on arrival as no vehicle can get access. WiFi only works a small area of the Riad and not in thrme room or roof top.

The location was fabulous, one minute walk to the main market square. The room was excellent, very comfortable bed and the deco was in keeping with the moroccan theme. The rooftop was the WOW factor of the Riad. The perfect place to have mint tea and watch the sunset. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Our stay was very enjoyable for the most part. The breakfast was ok, would be nice to have some fruit and less bread or pancakes. The food was plentiful and it was a bit too much for us. We don't like to waste food. We would of prefer if we were given a choice instead the whole selection that was on offer!

Fantastic Riad to stay in Marrakech. Location is great, few steps away from the Jemaa el-Fnaa plaza, the heart of Medina. Breakfast was delicious and well served. L’accueille de Mounir et Soufiane est très chaleureux ils sont disponibles à toutes heures de jours comme de nuits , le bâtiment ancien rénover est à la fois typiques et moderne en gardant sa forme de Riad de l’époque , une super piscine au rez de chaussée et un jacuzzi chauffer disponible à n’importe quel heure est à disposition sur le toit d’où la vu il est grandiose (face au coucher de soleil vu direct sur la place jeemah el fna, le petit déjeuner et le service sont super un grand merci à Amina, Ghizlane, Meryam et Wafa pour le gentillesse et leur sourires elles sont vraiment à l’écoute de vos besoin et vous conseille pour visiter la ville si besoin . Un coin hammam et massage est disponible , nous en somme sortie rajeuni et très reposer .N’hésitez pas à réserver le Riad Persephone vous ne serez pas déçu

Nous avons énormément apprécié l’accueil qui nous a été réservé pendant toute la durée de notre séjour. En particulier celui de Ouissal. Le Riad est idéalement placé. La chambre sur la terrasse a beaucoup de charme. Le jacuzzi sur la terrasse est un véritable atout. Le déjeuner est également bon et copieux. Nous avons également apprécié le massage et le hammam.
Cons: Certains équipements (peu de pression de douche et évacuation lente de l’eau, toilettes japonaises mal fixées au sol et pas raccordées en raison d’une mauvaise prise).

Wij hebben hier 2 dagen overnacht en hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad. We hadden wat twijfel vooraf, omdat de reviews van deze plek nogal verschillen. Mensen zijn of enorm enthousiast of branden de plek helemaal af. Nu we er geweest zijn, kunnen we zeggen dat dit vooral afhangt van wat je verwacht. Verwacht je een hypermodern hotel waar alles tiptop werkt met moderne apparatuur en een stopcontact op elke hoek van de kamer, okay, dan kan ik me voorstellen dat het iets tegenvalt. Wil je een authentieke ervaring en doe je niet te moeilijk over een iets scheefhangende deur? Dan is dit een prachtige plek. Vergelijk het met een verblijf in een oud herenhuis in Amsterdam. Natuurlijk zijn de muren iets scheef, en zit er geen deur tussen je kamer en de doucheruimte en heb je geen onbeperkt warm water om een half uur te douchen, maar dat is in elke oud Marokkaans gebouw zo. Je krijgt er echter wel een prachtige indruk van de lokale architectuur met een grote binnentuin en overal planten, een veelkleurige kamer met een heerlijk matras, vriendelijke gastheren en - vrouwen, een prachtig uitzicht over de stad vanuit de jacuzzi op het dakterras (die vrij beschikbaar was) en tal van chillplekjes of even lekker een boek te lezen. En dat alles op een steenworp afstand van de Medina. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar lekker en genoeg voor een stevige bodem. Voor 200 diram regelt de Riad een taxi voor je als je naar het vliegveld moet. Okay, dat zou voor iets minder kunnen als je het zelf fikst, maar in ruil daarvoor stond er wel om half 3 's nachts een taxichauffeur om ons bij de receptie op te halen zonder dat we ons daar zelf druk over hoefden te maken en werden onze boardingpassen uitgeprint (aangezien ze daar nog weleens moeilijk over willen doen op Marokkaanse vliegvelden). Cons: We got a tiny, and what we thought would also be a cosy, room. The main problem, the only ventilation available was a small window facing directly over the main entrance of the riad.There were no windows or extractor in the bathroom, which caused the whole space, including the bedroom, to feel and smell humid. There was some other unpleasant smell that we could not trace, we assume it was the drainage in the shower. In order to keep some fresh air in the room, we had to sleep with the window open. Therefore, all the noises from the street (not just people walking, but scooters passing by) kept us awake until around 2 am. That's when we decided to just close the window to have a bit less noise and keep up with the smell in the room. We maybe were just unlucky with our room and other options in the same riad might be better. For a similar price range, more comfortable options can be found in the Medina though.

Er is wel wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar door alle kleuren en de duizend en 1 nacht sfeer, zie je dit niet zo heel snel. Het dakterras is fantastisch, met een gastvrije muntthee even bijkomen van de hectiek van de souk met op de achtergrond de slangenbezweerders spelend op hun instrument. De massage en hammam is van uitstekende kwaliteit. zelden zo een goede massage gehad. dit is zo een toevoeging en zeker een aanrader.

We had a great stay at Riad Persephone. The Riad Is conveniently located near the square, however it is a peaceful oasis where you can't hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and at our arrival they offered us tea and cake, which was very nice! The receptionist Soufian helped us book the taxi the day we left and, because we were leaving very early, he made sure we had something to eat and packed us a bag with breakfast to take with us. Soufian also printed the boarding pass for us the day of the departure. He was really helpful with everything and we really felt the hospitality and warmth welcome from the staff. We can't be thankful enough for the staff and especially Soufian to make our stay so special and stress free. We will definitely be back!

Le Riad est magnifique et très bien situé, à 2 pas de la place. Les membres du personnel sont très attentifs surtout celles qui s’occupent de la cuisine et du ménage.
Cons: Je n’ai pas aimé le fait de ne pas pouvoir payé en Cb sans qu’on me prévienne. Cela a limité grandement mon plafond de retrait. La réceptionniste a insisté pour que j’aille retirer de l’argent à peine installé. J’ai du faire des transferts bancaires et jongler avec plusieures Cb. Cela peut être compliqué si on a une seule Cb. Car tout se paye en cash et il y a beaucoup d’attente devant les distributeurs.

The staff went above and beyond from the moment I got there, when I returned late at night, and when I woke up late the next morning. They provided me with all the information I needed when I had questions, shared their food with me when I came back late at night, and provided me with breakfast after I woke up late and missed it. The rooms and space are absolutely gorgeous and the pictures don’t do it justice. Soak in the hot tub on the patio and watch the sun set over Jemma El Fna. Shout out to their manager, Mounir who sat with me and talked about life in Marrakech made me feel like family. I will never forget the experience he and the others provided for me. Thank you so much.
Cons: I did not mind it, but if you’re sensitive to noise it is quite close to the market and it can be loud late at night, but I thrive in the hustle/bustle of the city. My one complaint is that I didn’t stay here longer.

L'emplacement derrière la place Jemaa El fna est top, un peu loin du tumulte . La chambre était très petite tout comme la salle d'eau mais décorée avec goût . La terrasse avec le jaccuzzi chauffé est un plus et très agréable pour déguster un thé au calme. Personnel très agréable et attentif. Pour ma part , j'ai passé un bon séjour :)
Cons: La fenêtre de notre chambre était au dessus de la porte d'entrée donc on entendait les mobylettes et les personnes parler mais c'était supportable. le manque de rangement pour nos vêtements. le petit déjeuner au goût de mon compagnon ne comportait pas assez de nourriture salée .

The location was great for the medina, roof top views was really special. Super easy to find if you know your bearings. When we arrived the first room given to us had not been cleaned so we had to wait for this to be done which was inconvenient after a day travelling and arriving late at night. We had to ask for a lock for our room as these are done by padlock, we also had to ask what the arrangements for breakfast was. That said, the breakfast and coffee was really good, it would have been nice to be asked if we wanted meat as no one in the group ate it. The staff making/serving breakfast were really nice and kind. Communal spaces felt authentic and nicely decorated.

We vonden de locatie fantastisch. Het bruisende medina heeft ervoor gezorgd dat we ons konden onderdompelen in de Marokkaanse cultuur. De riad is dichtbij alle hotspots en ook als je een dagtrip gaat maken, is alles goed te doen te voet. De kamers zijn mooi en hebben ieder hun eigen stijl, het ontbijt was erg lekker en vriendelijk personeel. Alles is schoon en vooral het balkon is fantastisch met het uitzicht. We hebben genoten!
Cons: Er is niet specifiek iets wat er niet goed is/was. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Ze zijn gastvrij en willen je met alles helpen. Je merkt dat ze goed Arabisch en Frans kunnen spreken, soms was de communicatie in het Engels wat lastiger, maar we zijn er altijd uitgekomen.

It has lots of rustic charm and is unique. Room was comfortable, breakfast was good. Check in was efficient and they you could leave luggage.
Cons: This Road looks great for Instagram but value wise for facilities we found better riads at the same value. I don’t regret our stay here but I would probably look to other riads before this one for availability next trip. Feel that if you were to use the hot tub it should be included or at least better value.

Il riad Persephone è decisamente Il miglior Riad in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Marocco. Letteralmente a due minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale di Marrakech offre dei fantastici servizi sia interni che esterni alla struttura. È dotata di un hammam all'interno e di una magnifica piscina, Il giardino è davvero uno spettacolo, Ci sono ovunque zone adibite al relax attrezzate nel migliore dei modi, con libri e bibite sempre a disposizione e addirittura delle coperte per le fresche serate di mezza stagione. Il rooftop poi è decisamente il punto forte della struttura, ha una vasca idromassaggio riscaldata a disposizione e affaccia direttamente sulla Piazza. Meravigliosa. La colazione offerta nella struttura è abbondante e deliziosa, il giusto compromesso tra la tradizione marocchina ed i gusti "europei". Una menzione speciale va ad Ouissal, alla reception, che ha risposto con cura ed attenzione a qualsiasi nostra esigenza durante il soggiorno. Questo luogo rimarrà insomma nei nostri cuori sia grazie alle persone che lo gestiscono sia grazie alla meraviglia della struttura. Assolutamente consigliato!!!

Malgré l'emplacement juste à côté de la place Jemaa el-Fna, les chambres sont calmes. Le hammam et le massage ont été super. Le côté labyrinthique de la disposition des chambres sur plusieurs étages avec des balcons. La cours intérieure pour le petit déjeuner. Prendre le thé sur le toit en regardant le coucher du soleil.
Cons: Les chambres mériteraient un rafraichissement, et les linges étaient vraiment vieux et abimés. Une des activités conseillées n'était vraiment pas à la hauteur.

It's best to stay in a Riad in Marrakech rather than a modern hotel. Plumbing not perfect but the whole setting was traditional Moroccan. Lovely bedroom furnishing. Right next to the main square so easy to get back to your room after shopping or eating out. The Manager, Mouniz, couldn't have been any more helpful. He would be the reason I would go back to Riad Persephone.

The location of the riad was great, close to plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was very pretty and spacious. The rooftop was perfect with a view overlooking the main square and looked lovely during the evening with all the lights lit.
Cons: I received no welcome on arrival. It's the only riad in five years of visiting Marrakech that didn't offer the welcome mint tea. I was made to carry two heavy bags up lots of stairs to my room on the rooftop, which hurt my back. The following morning, the female on reception demanded that I pay the city tax immediately. I had a tour booked but had to miss it because I had to find an 🏧 to get cash for her. When I arrived back with it,she ignored me and had no empathy about the tour I had missed. My back was extremely painful, and I mentioned it to her . She scoffed and suggested I buy a quad biking activity off her to take my mind off it. I said it wasn't appropriate, and she verbally uttered insults in Arabic! I booked a flight home after one day in the riad. On the morning of the flight, the person in charge refused to make me a mint tea. I had to struggle back down the stairs with my cases despite being in excruciating pain. I have been a regular visitor to Marrakech, and in this riad, I felt very unwelcome. I noticed the hard sell of activities immediately with other guests and the pressure to pay the city tax immediately on arrival. This could be a lovely riad but was let down badly by the arrogant attitude of some of the staff.

Emplacement a 2 minutes à pied de la place jemaa el fna dans une petite ruelle au calme. rooftop avec jacuzzi et 4/5 petites terrasses avec vue sur la place. le hammam était super. les petits dej sont suffisamment copieux et tout le personnel est vraiment accueillant et au petit soin.
Cons: parfois un peu bruyant, mais l'hotel n'y est pour rien c'est plus à nous de faire attention aux autres.

Cons: Nous avions fait une réservation pour 6 nuits afin d'y célébrer notre anniversaire de mariage. Dès le premier jour, nous avons été désagréablement surpris par le fait que la salle de bain n'a pas de porte et qu'il existe un espace entre le plafond et le muret qui délimite la salle de bain du reste de la chambre (absence d'intimité). Mais ce qui nous a le plus posé problème est que nous n'avons eu que de l'eau froide pour nous doucher, alors que les températures étaient déjà très basses en cette période. Nous avons informé le soir-même le personnel, qui nous a répondu qu'un technicien viendrait le lendemain. Or le lendemain, on nous a indiqué qu'il ne pourrait pas venir avant le surlendemain, nous laissant sans solution. Nous avons alors décidé d'annuler la suite de notre séjour et avons convenu avec le personnel du remboursement du reste des nuitées. Le remboursement a été prétendument fait avec le terminal et un reçu m'a été remis. Mais je n'ai jamais vu la couleur de ce remboursement. Je suis restée en contact avec le personnel par téléphone durant le séjour, puis ensuite par messages. On me demandait au début de rester patiente. Puis, je n'ai plus reçu de réponse. Après plus d'un mois, je n'ai donc toujours rien reçu : ni remboursement, ni nouvelles de la part du personnel du riad. Nous retiendrons avant tout la malhonnêteté du personnel. De tous les séjours que nous avons fait à Marrakech, c'est la première fois que nous avons été déçus et confrontés à de telles pratiques. C'est dommage.

I arrived at this riad and received no welcome whatsoever. It's the first riad in 5 years of visiting Marrakech where I haven't been offered mint tea and a warm welcome. I was by myself and was left to carry two heavy bags up numerous flights if stairs to the rooftop. The following morning I had a tour booked but before leaving for the coach, the female at the desk demanded the city tax money. I offered my bank card and she refused it saying cash only before 3.00. I had to go to the square for the cash and queued ages. I missed my tour and when I arrived back to the riad, the woman on the desk blanked me completely and it took 10 minutes for her to acknowledge me and take my money. I immediately felt quite upset at her abrupt tone and disrespect and began to feel very unwelcome. The following day, I had back pain and sat in the courtyard. The same woman asked what I was waiting for. I said I was resting my back! She suggested that I bought a quad biking activity off her and think positive. I said it's not the best idea today and she became verbally aggressive in Arabic. Immediately, I booked a flight home because I was too upset to stay. I was left to carry the heavy bags back down from the rooftop in terrible pain. I was ignored and when I asked for a cup of mint tea whilst waiting for the taxi, I was told they couldn't make me any. This is an expensive riad and I lost a lot of money. I have complained so that other visitors are treated better. I saw activities being pushed on an elderly man also. There was one very nice manager who printed off my boarding pass and apologised. Marrakech was my happy place but I doubt I shall return.

Sehr schöner Riad. Alle Angestellten des Hotels waren sehr freundlich, ganz besonders der Nachtportier. Von der Dachterrassen hat man einen tollen Blick über den Djemaa el Fna. Trotz sehr zentraler Lage ist es ruhig. Wir haben während unserem Aufenthalts zwei unterschiedliche Zimmer gehabt. Beide waren sehr schön eingerichtet und individuell.

The Riad is located in the centre of the Medina, from local markets to things to see and do (Bahia palace, the gardens, Madrassa Ben Youssef). Great customer service and excellent service from Soufiane. Breakfast was excellent every morning. An indoor pool overlooking the skylight and a hot jacuzzi on the rooftop, couldn’t fault the Riad.. Local eateries, shopping so easy and at hand. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the stay is safe and enjoyable. I do read comments here that the place needs a bit of TLC but it’s traditional Riad’s, personally I wouldn’t change a thing as it has its own charm. I will be back soon, thank you for an amazing Moroccan hospitality. Shukran !!

Reserve para mi madre y una amiga de ella. Ninguna habla inglés y en el Riad, Mounir, uno de sus trabajadores ha tenido la gentileza de llamarme via WhatsApp para ayudarlas a coordinar todo. The riad was a two minute walk throught the souk from that Jemaa el fna square. As soon as you enter this quaint and whimsical place it feels like you stepped into a fairytale, the gentle stroke of burning orange blossom oil welcomes you as you try to find your way around this enchanted territory. Watching the sunset from the roof top jacuzzi while listening to the drumming of dancers and the snake charmers' flutes mixed with the calls for prayer from the Koutoubia was nothing short of spellbinding.

Cons: Everything was fantastic so I’m being picky to think of things I didn’t like. The room was smaller than expected and a small fridge would have been great to keep our drinks cool as it’s so hot, also a bigger room would have given us more space to hang clothes.

Estancia muy agradable en este Riad acogedor. Ambiente tranquilo y recogido. Nos hemos sentido como en casa pudiendo disfrutar de una habitación espaciosa, una cama grande y cómoda una decoracion colorida y auténtica, un jacuzzi y una piscina para refrescarnos. Todo perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar. El desayuno es muy rico , Todo el personal:los recepcionistas los dos Sofian, Anouar, las señoras que se ocupaban de la cocina y de las habitaciones fueron todos y todas encantadores y muy profesionales. Nos trataron con mucha amabilidad y gentileza. Parecían formar una familia que nos acogía en su propia casa. Me encantó mi estancia.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great although lots of carbs. The riad is beautiful and unique. It feels very serene away from the bustle of the main square. There is a great rooftop with small pool. It's a great view point of the main square and Koutoubia. The staff were also very accommodating in giving us breakfast to take away as we had a day trip that left early
Cons: Breakfast could have had more fruit. The riad is situated near a mosque so it was pretty noisy during muezzein. Also can very easily hear the plumbing from the rooms above and people in the courtyard talking.

Great staff - our room wasn't ready upon our arrival and we were given a free massage as an apology. The roof terrace is lovely and the whole building smells amazing. Really cool decor and aesthetic.
Cons: The breakfast is not as good as most reviews make it out to be - it's very basic and you can get better breakfast at local restaurants. No TV in our standard double room. You will be woken up around 6am every morning because of the loud prayers from mosque. You will really hear it. Although i'm not sure if this is a nationwide thing or just a Medina thing so forgive me if i'm misinformed.

Lo único que se salva el desayuno.
Cons: En primer lugar, nos dieron una habitación en la terraza del alojamiento en el cual no correspondía con las fotos que aparecer en la web, el baño era sin exagerar 1 m cuadrado en el que no podías cerrar la puerta si te sentabas, la ducha llena de humedades y horrible ( nada que ver con las fotos que anunciaban que venía con bañera), la cama estaba hundida en el centro y dolía la espalda, no limpian por las mañanas ni desinfectan, aparte de eso no está aislado del exterior ya que cualquier ruido de la terraza te molestaba, incluso los rezos a las 6:00 de la mañana, tuvimos que comprar tapones, también el último día se nos fue la luz la tarde- noche entera y del wifi olvídate…

La proximité avec la place Jemaa El Fna est un vrai + ! 1min à pied. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique et accueillant. ils proposent des excursions qui sont bien organisées, mais vous pourrez en trouver des moins chères ailleurs. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux.
Cons: Chambre mal isolée (fenêtres et portes qui ne fermaient pas bien ou ajourées), donc mauvaise isolation thermique et sonore. Draps pas très propres (on s'est demandé si ils avaient été changés car il y avait des poils et des cheveux). Prix de la nuit un peu élevé.

Cons: As imagens não correspondem de todo ao que vamos encontrar! Pouca limpeza e instalação degradada! Espaço giro que merecia mais cuidado! No checkout, tínhamos voo cedo, solicitamos pequeno almoço take way, mensagem reforçada por 3 vezes e ainda assim fomos sem pequeno almoço, que ficou pago! Não vale o valor da estadia pelo preço! If you’re looking for something cozy, warm, and rich in the culture of Marrakech, this is the perfect choice. The room is simple, and the staff is very kind and and welcoming. The hot jacuzzi along with the terrace at the roof is also very nice.
Cons: The shower should have a shelf or a hook for hanging clothes and towels. Additionally, a curtain should be installed to prevent water from splashing and to provide some privacy.

The riad had a very nice location. The staff was very helpful. The room was nice, there was Moroccan charm everywhere.
Cons: The room had some minor issues. We took a trip to the Merguez desert from Riyadh. It was extremely disgusting, we do not recommend it.

Posizione centralissima per visitare la zona principale di Marrakech (letteralmente a 1 minuto a piedi dalla piazza principale). Staff molto cordiale, si prendono cura degli ospiti in maniera impeccabile. Camera perfetta per un viaggio in coppia, con la presenza anche di una terrazza stupenda e di una jacuzzi riscaldata per godersi il tramonto sulla piazza principale. La colazione inclusa nel prezzo abbondante e gustosa. Consigliatissimo il soggiorno

The staff were all great. Friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was brilliant....so near to the city centre. The roof terrace was a great place to relax and hear the action in the square. The breakfasts were great. We liked the traditional layout of the riad....so much more authentic than a modern hotel.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Because we travelled so early in the year the courtyards were cold in the morning. Blankets and wooly hats at breakfast but they would be wonderfully cool in high summer. We had to change rooms after one night....apparently to the best room....which wasn't as good as the first. I'm not a fan of the bath and bed in the same room or no door on the toilet but not a big deal.
