This hotel merits its five stars for several reasons but top of them all are its staff. Without exception everybody went out of their way to make us feel welcome . In particular I would like to praise Ahmed, who greeted us on arrival and Younis, Yanni and Ishmael the team who served our breakfast each morning But here is the most important of tips for tourists: Marrakesh in the summer is unbearable. Avoid it

What a fabulous find! Staff are top class, from service to helping with dinner suggestions, introduction meeting to Marrakesh! They really could not help anymore & nicectoych leaving with a small gift. Breakfast was like a banquet - really good and set you up for the day. They were happy to pack some if you were heading out on a tour to take with you. Rooms spacious & comfortable. No noise issues and a good location to walk anywhere. Internet perfect too. Highly recommend

Incredible service — the staff here is genuinely accommodating and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with mint tea and sweets, followed by a helpful orientation to Marrakech that really set the tone for our stay. The Riad is located inside the old city walls, in the Jewish quarter of the Medina. Yes, it’s a bit chaotic outside with mopeds, taxis, and even the occasional donkey — but that’s part of the charm and exactly why you choose to stay in the Medina. Once inside, it’s a peaceful oasis. The quiet courtyard, complete with a pool, lounge areas, pool table, and a restaurant/bar, offers a perfect retreat from the busy streets. Our room was spacious, with excellent air conditioning, a separate living room area, a refrigerator, and even a balcony overlooking the pool — a wonderful touch. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding each morning. I’d also recommend using the hotel-arranged airport transfer instead of a taxi — much smoother and more reliable. At checkout, the staff even sent us off with a delicious lunch bag for the trip home — such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, this Riad is an exceptional value for the quality of amenities and the level of service provided. We loved being inside the city walls — it made the experience truly unforgettable

The Ksar Anika is a wonderful property. We stayed four nights and loved our time there. The breakfasts were very good. The dinners reasonable and shareable with lots of food. The room we had was very large and the air conditioning kept it cool. The location of the Riad is walkable to the market and other sites. Can’t say enough of how much we enjoyed the property. A must stay!

Lovely welcome. Staff so friendly. A beautiful Riad and huge perfectly decorated bedrooms . The whole hotel was so picturesque and beautiful , the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in . Pool was lovely . Such a nice relaxing atmosphere . Staff could not do enough for us , they were fabulous . I would definitely recommend this homely hotel . The only criticism would be there is not any air conditioning where you eat breakfast & dinner and in the seating areas so we tried not to spend much time their as was very hot ,

Hands down the best hotel we have stayed at. The staff were incredible, they were attentive and generous but never overbearing. They could not do enough for us and our son, and they excelled themselves at every opportunity. The little extras they did for us made our holiday, and the riad itself is absolutely stunning. We didn't want to leave and I genuinely think about it a week on, missing the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. It's perfectly positioned for the Palace and the souks and the pool is so welcome after a hot day exploring. The rooms are air conditioned and so comfortable and the food is absolutely incredible! Don't hesitate, book today! I hope I can come back one day. Until then, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the pool area, with pool chairs and afternoon snacks. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Bedroom was very comfortable with good AC. Only downside was the walk to the Souk along a narrow dirty and busy road with lots of blind turns where you had to be quite careful to avoid the cars and bikes.

The staff are good, friendly, approachable and evidently hardworking. It's as good as advertised. It was adequately air-conditioned considering the intense heat outside. I have always loved the sudden change in temperature when you come from the heat into the cool Riad. If I had to mention an area of improvement I would say the bathroom in the room we stayed in was a bit outdated and the stains on the wall which can now only be removed by a refurbishment could do a whole lot good. Bathrooms without windows anywhere in the world need extra attention as they are susceptible to moisture, especially when they aren't completely tile. Lastly, the light in the dining area of the room wasn't working and the one over the bedroom was more of a disco light when you try to dim it. We didn't stay indoors for too long so that didn't bother us that much.

Excellent service above all. Right from the moment youbwnter, they will treat you royally. Don't miss their mint tea. They will go above and beyond to help the customer. Location is very convenient. Very near to medina and the square. Breakfast served was good, and decent options for vegetarians. couple of minor issues were slow water drain in shower, and uncomfortable pillows. Overall, I would definately stay here again.

First time in Morocco and we had the most wonderful stay! The riad has a truly beautiful interior. From the very start Sihame was so helpful as was all the reception and staff. We were given a wonderful room. We felt right at home from the minute we stepped in. The room was lovely, very clean and thankfully v cool and the bathroom products. Wow! We booked an atlas mountain tour through the Road and it was worth every penny. Food was lovely. I really cannot fault Riad Ksar Annika. A bonus...the airport transfer / taxi can park right outside the front door. Huge bonus in the medina. Trust me. Thank you to you all. We will be back. We have found a new travel family and have already recommended you to friends and family.

Had a very pleasant stay ! The staff was incredible from the moment we arrived and we left. Someone was always available if we needed anything. The location was perfect, walking distance to the big place and market in the old Medina. We felt very safe at all time. The riad is beautiful, the rooms are all different with their own charms, just a little improvement is needed in some of the bathrooms for storage for personal items like many shelves. Breakfast, which was included, offered a large selection and was very good. The wait staff was very kind and willing to accommodate our needs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay especially indulging in an authentic Moroccan atmosphere!

One night at the hotel. Welcome drink, food and explanations are amazing. The area around La Mellah is also pretty convenient and calm compared to the rest of the Medina. Of course the ground floor’s rooms might be a bit noisier due to the patio and restaurant set-up but this was not really an issue and we would necessarely recommend the ryad for all the services they offer.

We arrived at this property exhausted as we flew over night from Canada. We were greeted warmly with tea, dates and cookies. The amenities were all well described to us and we were acknowledged by all the staff. The room was clean and spacious, equipped with homemade shampoo, conditioners and body wash. We had fresh fruit in our room as well. The food in the restaurant was amazing so fresh, beautifully prepared and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed dinner music, tea, and a serene environment. Every need was attended to quickly and often before we knew we needed it. We had special service from Jalil who served most of our meals and made us beautiful tea and served it perfectly. Yousef jumped quite literally for anything we needed. It was the best experience in a hotel I have had. I would recommend to anyone visiting the incredible city of Marrakech to stay here and embrace the wonderful people. Thank you for making this experience so special.

I would love to give 10/10 but unfortunately had an issue on the penultimate day of our stay. I notified the receptionist that the cleaner on two occasions not only moved our personal items but hid them from sight. I managed to get two of my items returned as the cleaner seemed able to be able to advise the reception where my items had been hidden in the room eg an item of jewellery was under the telephone receiver and my sandals were behind (not in) the wardrobe, which is bizarre. My husband's aftershave was not found and the cleaner stated that it had been seen in the bin, again bizarre as it was a full bottle. This left me feeling very nervous about my stay and the safety of my belongings. All of this was reported on 9th April but was not taken seriously by the receptionist. In the end, I was happy to leave and was disappointed that this had happened in such a lovely hotel. On a positve note, the dining and waiting staff cannot do enough for you and the Hotel is so beautiful and the rooms and very spacious. The location is also very convenient and approx a 10 minute walk to the main square. Again, I would like to give a 5 star review but unfortunately due to my experiences, I cannot but thank all the staff that were most helpful and made our stay enjoyable.

Probably one of the best hotels i have stayed at. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, the staff looked after us very well. From the moment that we stepped into this beautiful Riad, we felt like home. The personal service, we received from the abundant breakfast to our dilemma of not being able to find an atm with money, close enough was beyond my expectations. It’s a nice location, set a bit away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to everything. I especially loved opening up my window to the courtyard and hearing beautiful live music by the pool/dining area. I loved Marrakech and especially loved my stay at this hotel. A home away from home!

Do yourself a favor, and don’t stay at this property. I booked for me and my parents this place, and they were not able to accommodate all of us because only two people can stay in the room. We arrived at 1am to this property, and had to leave to find another hotel with my elderly parents of the age 65 No one at the property was helpful and left us stranded in Morocco in the middle of the night. STAY AWAY! There is much nicer hotels with better service and location.

The Riad is in an ideal location for exploring the main sites in the old town. 5 min walk to Bahia Palace, 15 min walk to Cafe De France in main Jemma el-fnaa square and market medina. There is a choice of restaurants within walking distance too. The staff are very friendly and welcoming through-out stay, being greeted with mint tea, dates and almond biscuits on arrival. Along with parting gift during check-out of snacks and argan oil toiletries, which was unexpected. The hotel could improve on small touches though in the rooms. We had a standard double room on the ground floor. This was beautifully decorated with rose petals on bed and in bathroom, along with more snacks - dates, fruit, biscuits. Would be useful to have folder of information on how to use safe, AC, details on times for breakfast, dinner other catering options with prices. The shower cubicle was a bit odd, with only having one screen panel, which did not stop the water spraying everywhere. The Riad could benefit from making more use of the roof terrace during evenings with entertainment, food , drinks etc so that guest have option to stay in if they wish, although an evening dinner is offered in the main pool area, but not promoted widely enough.

Booked to stay here for 5-nights. We found it perfectly located as it is far enough out of the medina to be quieter from all the motorbikes and noise but super close to walk into the square and souks within 10-15mins. The riad is beautiful and we stayed in a deluxe room which was on the first floor. The hotel staff are an absolute credit to the riad and made our trip with helpful tips and looking after us superbly. The riad provides a substantial breakfast each day which was fruit, yoghurt, breads, cakes and your choice of eggs as well as fresh juice and coffee. Each afternoon there was also juice and cake. The pool was a refreshing 25 degrees and whilst we had a swim one day I can imagine it’s lovely in the height of summer. Our room was comfortable with a sofa and arm chair and twin beds with en-suite shower. Each day housekeeping were great and provided fresh bottled water, fruit and cookies each day which was much appreciated. I’d certainly recommend the riad if you are looking for somewhere quieter to stay and a little further out of the medina. There are restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the riad which were convenient. We also paid for a Hamman and massage in the hotel, the hamman was lovely although the room quite cold. Some thought needs to be put into the area used for hamman as we were walked (unclothed) between two curtains one which weren’t fully closed and people could have seen into which wasn’t ideal. Thank you all at Anika Riad :)

This Riad is located beside the Bahia Palace, but to be honest, its location is not the best. To get to the Palace, the Medina, or anywhere else, you have to walk some pretty narrow streets with traffic. It is not for the faint-hearted. The property itself is nice, but the staff is amazing; they could not be more helpful. Our room was spacious and well kept, the bed was comfortable (if noisy), the shower was not the best, you had to run the water for 5-10 mins to get hot and the pressure was low at peak times. Breakfast was lovely and again the service was first-class. They arranged our airport transfers (for a reasonable cost) and gave us a gift and a packed lunch on departure.

This was our second stay at Ksar Anika and once again we were delighted with our experience. First of all, the property is fantastic. It is really well thought out, the rooms are lovely and in both rooms that we have stayed in, the beds have been really comfortable. There is a restaurant on site with a good range of dining options. The breakfasts each day were wonderful giving us the opportunity to sample a wide range of different Moroccan dishes. The hotel is located in an area easily walkable to Jemma el-Fnaa and the souks. However, while the building and facilities were great, it is the staff that really make this place a fantastic accommodation choice for a trip to Marrakech. From the friendly and thoughtful staff who welcomed us to the hotel when we arrived and helped with any questions or requests that we had (and even provided us with a packed lunch for or journey home) to the exceptional, hard working gentlemen who looked after us in the restaurant at breakfast and when we chose to dine there in the evening too, nothing was too much trouble. We have never been looked after better than when we have stayed at Ksar Anika and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Kzar Anika Riad was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their attentiveness and dedication truly made a difference. The cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the riad were impeccable, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Every corner was well-maintained, showing the care and effort put into making guests feel at home. Breakfast was another highlight –delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to start our days of exploring. The location is also ideal, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to walk to many major attractions. Whether you’re looking for culture, history, or just a charming place to stay, this riad is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it

This is a really nice and spacious property conveniently located near the Bahia palace and so good walking distance to Jemaa el fna. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the 3 rooms we had were excellent! They were very welcoming and shared helpful advice on the area while serving us mint tea and delicious cake. They organised transport for us and gave us a nice bag with sandwiches, fruit and cake for our onward journey and they also gave a small gift when we left. I would highly recommend this Riad.

Absolutely fantastic stay for my wife and I. We were met on arrival with complimentary Moroccan tea and local treats to sample to welcome us into hotel. The staff then provided all the info and maps to help us navigate the beautiful city of Marrakech. The room was very spacious, peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a great selection of local cuisine that set you up for the day and was more than what we expected. We stayed for 3 nights and were genuinely sad to be leaving. We were even treated to more complimentary local soaps and shampoo upon check out. I would 100% recommend anyone wishing to spend a relaxing break in Marrakech to consider this hotel 10/10

I enjoyed my stay at Riad Ksar Anika. It’s located on a quiet road, away from, but close enough to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. I walked everywhere. The service was great, with the reception staff going as far as providing me with a full lunchbox after I had told him during my checkout that I was going to take a bus to Essaouira later that day.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. The staff do their utmost to provide an exceptional service and are always available to ask about the local area or if you need assistance with anything. The riad was beautiful and is located on the very outskirts of the medina, so it is a short walk away, but you gain the benefit of the peace away from the hustle and bustle! Hot breakfast options changed every day and everything was freshly prepared. We don’t like eggs, but these were offered at breakfast also. Our room was clean and spacious and each day we were left fruit, water, dates and small biscuits free of charge. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend for adults visiting Marrakech.

I was traveling for a month to different countries, and this was by far the most amazing place we stayed at! The service was impeccable and everyone there was so pleasant, from welcoming us in our first day there to seeing us off safely on our last day with our very early morning flight! Selma at the front desk, Youssef (both of them!) Mohammad (both of them) and Younes, thank you! And to any others I may have missed. The room was so clean, so spacious, and the Riad itself was kept with such care and attentiveness by everyone there - it showed. I would stay here again for sure! We absolutely loved it! I booked this Riad/Hotel because of the Expedia reviews being so positive. I would have agreed with all the great reviews. Staff is very friendly and helpful with places to see and dine. They will take the time to welcome you with Moroccan Tea and treats and provide important information for your stay in Marrakech. I especially love the snack bag provided when I took excursions and my trip to airport. All staff from doormen, reception, and waiters were all pleasant and greeted you everyday. Riad was a quick walk to main square and various souks within the Medina. I would definitely recommend this hotel for quiet location that is close to everything. Thank you for a fantastic stay and making me feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at The Ksar Anika. Communication in advance with a late arrival was great. The Riad is beautiful with every detail considered. The staff are extremely courteous and friendly, attending to every need. The breakfast is unreal! We also appreciate the kindness and hospitality to our 11-yr old son. The location is excellent and most importantly safety is clearly highly important to the staff. Big thanks to all the dining room service team, the night watchman who helped with arrival and departure at off hours, and reception for support booking a day excursion to the Atlas Mountains. If you can book a day with Hassan in the mountains, we recommend it as a wonderful way to experience the mountains, topped with a lovely home cooked meal.

Lovely Riad. Close to Palais Bahia. Great staff. So helpful and kind. Went out of their way to celebrate my daughter’s birthday when we were there. Beautiful inside. Lovely roof top terrace. Pool looked lovely but didn’t use it. No alcohol. No tea/coffee maker in the bedroom. Breakfast was so good! Loved the food and the very good suggestions. Great Atlas trip. We also enjoyed the nearby Culinary Museum for a fabulous cooking class. Nicely located to easily walk into souks but a peaceful paradise to step back from hectic pace of a souk experience. What a wonderful stay! Due in no small part to the staff. They are the friendliest people, and nothing is too much to ask of them. Any problems at all, just mention it to the staff and they would go above and beyond to make it right. The breakfast was excellent everyday. Again, if you want anything different or changing just ask and the staff will make it happen! The spa isn’t a separate space, just as a warning if looking for a ‘typical’ spar experience (UK based reviewer). Only a short walk into the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh, we would stay here again!

This is a beautiful riad! The rooms are spacious clean and the bed is very comfortable. During my stay I had a slight problem with the bathroom and it was handled quickly and professionally. The breakfast is delicious! It is a set menu and they just bring you copious amounts of foods to eat. The only issue with the breakfast is that it doesn't start until 8:00 so if you want an early start of the day, that's not possible. I would highly recommend this hotel not only because it's beautiful but because the staff are amazing.

We had an amazing stay, and were sad to leave. Everyone from the front staff, waiters, cleaning personnel, etc were all so pleasant and kind, going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our flight in was delayed and we arrived at 11pm; we prearranged transport via the hotel shuttle for $22 (each way) - he was so friendly and helpful with suggestions and bits of info about Marrakech, local life, and the culture. Check in was a breeze, and I liked that they held room keys for us while we were out and about exploring the city and shops. Every morning we were served a huge breakfast that varied slightly day-to-day: fresh fruits, yogurt, assortment of breads, lentils, made to order omelettes, fresh squeezed juice, and cappuccinos! Service was super attentive and just plain awesome - huge shoutout to Mohammed, who is THE best. Our room was cleaned daily and always turned over nicely with fresh, clean sheets, new towels and bath products, and a large bottle of water and plate of fruits and cookies. I can’t think of any negatives to our stay. Our trip was incredible and I would recommend it to anyone. There’s a small walk from the riad to the hustle and bustle, but it’s pleasant and definitely helps to keep the sound down at night, so I saw this as a perk! Thank you to the entire staff - you are wonderful!

Staying at Ksar Anika Riad for seven nights was like stepping into a Moroccan dream. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty, greeted with the warmest hospitality and traditional mint tea even after a late at night arrival due to flight delays. The riad is beautifully decorated, blending authentic Moroccan design with all the modern comforts you could wish for. Our room was a perfect oasis, with stunning details that made us feel like we were in a hidden gem of the city. Each morning, we indulged in a delicious traditional breakfast by the pool in the courtyard with its serene setting. It was a peaceful retreat after exploring the bustling souks of Marrakech. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful tips on the best places to visit and always ready with a smile. The location of the riad couldn’t be better, tucked away just enough for a quiet night’s sleep but still within walking distance to the medina’s main attractions. After seven nights, it felt like a home away from home, and we were so sad to leave. If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay in Marrakech, Ksar Anika Riad is truly a hidden treasure. We can’t wait to return!

I stayed here with my partner and was very satisfied with the property. The staff are the highlight, and were all very nice and accomidating. The room was well appointed, with locally made amenities. The breakfast was excellent local fare, and the dinner options were good as well. The courtyard was a nice place to spend an afternoon. The overall location is good as well. Its close enough to walk to the main attractions, but not so close that its too noisy or busy. It has a nice (but laregely unused) rooftop terrace as well. Two small compaints. One, I can only speak for our room (which was one of the suites) but the on-the-wall AC blows directly onto the bed from above with no way to change it. The low setting is still pretty high, so its either turn it off and be hot, or have cold air blowing directly onto your face while youre asleep. Second, the courtyard is covered by a thick but clear tarp type material. It rained a lot and leaked heavily into the courtyard while we were having dinner. We had to pickup and move. To be fair it doesnt rain there much in that quantity, so not a huge deal. Overall, its a solid 4-4.5 out of 5. I would recommend it to others and would stay here again.

My stay here was good. Staff is very good, very friendly, accommodating. It felt very safe. They have the entrance supervised with cameras to enhance safety. The only thing I wish the food wasn’t so overpriced. Very good food but you can probably find just as tasty options outside the riad for better price. Also a few of the wall outlets in my room didn’t work, but I’m sure they would’ve helped if I brought it to someone’s attention. Otherwise nice place to stay. Recommend!

Lovely property, nice decor and staff. Food was good, air con worked perfectly, overall great and we really enjoyed it. There were only two things that made it 4 not 5 stars for me - first, the bed was very squeaky and second was the ‘packed breakfast’ we got on our departure. We left early so could t have the dot down breakfast (which was delicious and plentiful), but the hotel said they’d prep a packed lunch for us. I was hoping for something nice given the lovely breakfast they served, but instead for just apple, banana and a piece of cake, not even water. But aside from that it was all very nice and it’s a great hotel.

Wonderful Riad with exceptional attention to detail when it came to rooms and overall cleanliness. One of the best we have ever experienced. Service was welcoming and polite, but not exceptional for a place at this standard - specifically the restaurant. It is very much at the end of the Medina, but only a few minutes walk will get you to Bahia Palace. Would recommend for couples looking for a quieter place to stay but still close to the heart of the Medina.

From being met by a taxi transfer up until leaving the hotel we had the full help and support of all the hotel staff. They were all incredibly helpful and informative about where to go and what to do. The Riad itself was an oasis of tranquility and relaxation , which of course Marrakesh is not so it was lovely to return to utter calm and peace once back behind the front doors. A lot of attention has been paid to conserving its authenticity and uniqueness. The breakfast was a veritable feast something different every day to try and the waiting on staff were superb. Lunch is also complimentary sandwiches and cakes around the pool and dinner is served in the courtyard with a few choices and there is also a menu du jour with 3 courses to choose from. Wine and beer are available but as in all Marrakesh establishments it comes at a price much higher than in UK but a good standard of wine. Thank you to all the staff who ensured our comfort!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough if staying in Marrakesh. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering a level of hospitality that you don't often find. Their genuine care for their guests was evident when we both came down with a stomach bug, due to food elsewhere, the staff kindly provided medication and checked in on us to make sure we were okay and additionally providing rice. They personally took us to a local launderette to ensure we got a fair price. Abdul, the manager, went the extra mile to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The hotel itself was a peaceful oasis in contrast to the hustle and bustle just outside. The calm and relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind after exploring the busy city. Situated close to the centre, everything was mostly within walking distance. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with efficient air conditioning, making our stay comfortable even in the heat. Breakfast each morning was a delight. There was a nice variety of fresh options, and everything tasted great. It was a lovely way to start the day. If staying in Marrakesh, i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable stay with outstanding customer service.
