All the rooms were as described ,exceptionally clean . air conditioning as needed very comfortable beds and plenty of hot water showers were good but perhaps more toiletries provided . There was always somewhere to sit out of the sun if needed and a variety of sitting areas on the roof terrace . The small pool was very clean and welcoming after a day exploring We had a meal on arriving and the evening before departing which were both very good, in particular the one on arriving The staff were delightful ,nothing was too much trouble for them even if our French, for most of us ,was not very good We had different fruit for breakfast every day , toasted bread, jams and marmalade and hot pancakes with honey accompanied with freshly squeezed orange juice ,tea and coffee
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like .

Abdullah was a 10/10 host, extremely attentive and helpful. He helped us source a local SIM card for internet use, helped us find somewhere to print boarding passes, gave us general directions to places etc. The room was clean and well presented, the common areas all nice. Especially the terrace where you can have breakfast and sit in the sun. Beds were made up daily, fresh breakfast included each morning was great with a good selection, especially the Moroccan tea was excellent.
Cons: There wasn’t anything to dislike.

The daily breakfast on the roof terrace was superb. We found Riad Morgane very clean and we were very well looked after by Youssef. We ate in the riad several evenings and were very satisfied with the traditional food. Youssef helped to make our stay memorable. He is a treasure!
Cons: We were a little disappointed at the size of our room and private bathroom. The bathroom was very small and cramped. If you are young and agile that would not be a problem but for us older wrinklies it is more difficult!

Very welcoming staff, we felt at ease from the beginning as we got picked up from the airport and welcomed to the riad with some tea, cookies, and a short explanation for directions with a map of the city. Redouane is the sweetest host and a very friendly guy, he always made sure we had everything we needed. We had a good time overall!
Cons: Only downside is the room being on the same floor as the entrance of the riad and the area where breakfast was served. The in and out of other guests or people who had breakfast very early made it a bit hard for us to have a good sleep. I think serving breakfast on the beautiful terrace would easily fix this small issue.

The riad is nice and the staff is very friendly.
Cons: They charged us for 3 nights and didn’t offer to at least go half way when we asked to discount one night 5 days before arrival… I understand there is a policy (we paid), but seemed very inflexible which was unfortunate. The noise was an issue too.. we were in a room that was on the ground floor leading to where the tables/breakfast was and it was, unfortunately, very difficult to sleep as the voices from other guests hanging out in that area/being reception eso late at night were very loud due to proximity.

Great location, close to the medina entrance, in a quiet area. Riad Morgane is mapped on Google Maps and you can use your phone to get to this location. The riad is very clean, with well-equipped rooms (towels, shower gel, makeup remover discs, extra blanket and pillows, AC) Breakfast is ok, not very nutritious but good (toast, yogurt, butter, jam, a pancake and fruit) The host was kind, she helped us with an error (I only book the room for 1 person, not for 2 - The New price only included the extrataxes for the second person)
Cons: Every day someone came to our room to make the bed, fold our night clothes and rearrange the clothes (shirts, bras and move the backpack) - we made the bed every day and our clothes have been arranged. Not even once did he change the towels even though he came in every day to make the bed

simple RIAD clean and good value for money
Cons: the location very basic RIAD. staff didn’t speak English so it was difficult to communicate. when we asked for a taxi we were offered a very expensive price and we’re asked to pay in advance. we got our own taxi in the morning and paid less than half of what we were quoted. I don’t have a problem with people making money but it is only fair to offer a guest the option to get his own and tell him how much it will cost.

Cons: Facilities are bad: there is no soup only something in a plastic bottle "gel douche" which could be said to be better snot than anything else. You are not allowed to eat anything in the common area. We asked for a knife, she gave it to me but wasn't too happy. We ordered dinner for one night during the 3 nights stay, it was amazing home-cooked chicken Tagine (delicious and came big plate enough that we two girls couldn't finished them regretfully.) The place is clean and offering cleaning plus towels replacing daily. You can always ask Patrick for anything; directions, airport transfer, or to order some drinks at the place. Location is OK you can walk to touristic sites but gets a little tricky to look for this Riad in smaller alleys but after a day or two you can recognize it. The only thing concerned was no door between bedroom and toilet which doesn't give you so much privacy. Other than this everything was great especially the hosts and relaxing atmosphere.

It was our first riad on our trip to Morocco and we were plesently surprised by the cozy atmosphere and a friendly host. Patrick was very kind and got us a ride from the airport and since we had to leave early he packed us breakfast so we don't leave on empty stomachs. The location is ok, in a quiet part of the Medina.

We were in Marrakech for 5 days and we definitely wanted to stay in authentic accommodation instead of a standard hotel. The location is quiet, it takes a little while to learn your way around (just like anything else in the labyrinth of the medina...) It is about 10-15 minutes' walk from the Jeema El Fna. Patrick, one of the owners, spoke some English, so we were fine. The riad has most of the amenities you may need (hot shower, wifi) and the terrace is amazing. The only downside would be that there is no door between the room and the bathroom, only a curtain. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

2nd time in Marrakech, riad was smaller than our last one we stayed in but still had the quaintness of the medina!!!! Patrick and Ibtissam shared their beautiful home with us and it was nice to see how they live, area was fairly close to the square but there is so much more of Marrakech to see than just the square, helpful and friendly, breakfast a plenty and always clean rooms with lockable doors for safety and even given key to their front door to come and go as we pleased!! Alleyways a little smelly with local cats (but that cant be helped!!!), couldn't fault the place to be fair, had all we wanted and needed and at a great price!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!!

Nice riad in a good location, in the medina, but nice and quite. Owners do their best to ensure a good stay. We weren't given an outside key so were dependent on the owners being home and hearing the buzzer, which was fine most of the time, but annoying once or twice. The breakfast terrace is quite a lovely place to start the day.

Patrick and Ibtissam are wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Their Riad is situated in the family neighborhood of Bab Doukala and they were very accommodating to our needs. While the amenities such as the pool and air conditioning were not top end, it was still a more than comfortable stay and the perfect distance from the main action; close enough to walk but far enough to gain some peace. The Riad offer day excursions to local interests and interests further afield. I would recommend taking advantage of their airport transfer service and sampling Ibtissam's delicious lemon chicken tagine. If you're on a budget and looking for good value it's the perfect choice.

Well,,, this was our second time back to Marrakech and our second time back to this Riad.It was great for us as it allows us the familiarity of knowing where we are in getting around the city and for walking around , especially back and forth to the Jemaa El Fna. The local area we find very interesting also. It goes without saying but we will , that we enjoyed being greeted by Patrick and his lovely wife Ibtissam and their son. They were very happy to see us return and we booked the room on the main floor with the double bed .aircon and average shower area. We had forgotten that this month was Ramadan when we decided to head off last minute. But Ibtissam does her ususal for breakfast in the morning . She served toast and pasteries with jams and jellies .coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. What we love the most is her confit l,orange. which she makes herself. My i would go back just for that , Thank you Ibtissam. !!! They also offer you lunch and dinner meals if you wish. although we are usually out and about the city for those .This is a very quiet Riad although you must get used to the walk through the passages to get there.. ,once or twice and you have it mastered .. just keep an eye and ear out for the motorcycles as you have to everywhere there. They do not mind what time you arrive back with a knock on the door to let you in. The showers work well and Ibtissam keeps the rooms cleaned and supplied with linens. The beds are very comfortable and the price is more than comparatable to others. This month not only did we have Ramadan to deal with but the oppresive heat .Most days it was over 42 . so we slept with the air con on and went out at supper time till later ,when it cooled to only 35. Over all this Riad is great and we could suggest it to anyone . the roof top patio is wonderful and the tented area if one likes to opt for breakfast is really nice.Really nice sun bathing area also . So once again we Thank you . Merci, Patrick and Ibtissam and Morgan for making yet another trip to Marrakech a memorable one. Merci

The owners, Ibtissam and Patrick, are so friendly and helpful and could never do enough for you. They arranged transfers for us which was a great help. The Riad is in a great location and you can walk to the Jemma El Fna in the centre of Marrakech in ten minutes. The Riad is spotlessly clean, and has a beautiful plunge pool and roof terrace with good views across the skyline of Marrakech. There are plenty places to sit and relax. Although it is close to the centre of town, we found the Riad to be very quiet and the comfy beds meant we slept well. Perhaps the best bit about Riad Morgane is the breakfasts. We had freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, home-made traditional breads and pancakes, as well as a spread of home-made jams and marmalades. I researched accommodation in Marrakech thoroughly, and Riad Morgane definitely gives you the most bang for your buck.

The good: This is a clean place, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The room was adequate for me and my two daughters. It is in a good location - being in the centre of the medina and only a 15 minute walk from the square. The map that you are given when you arrive is very helpful - it has the location of Riad Morganne identified, and the mobile phone numbers of both the owners in case you get lost. Thoughtful! The bad: The wifi is poor. The breakfast is awful - but you are 'warned' by Patrick (the owner) that it is included in the price, and you will be charged for it, whether or not you eat it! There was a €3 charge for an additional breakfast, but we found better for €2.50 a short walk from the riad, so we went for that option instead. The drunk who lives next door and who terrified my eleven-year old daughter was something we could have done without, but I realise that drunk neighbours are not something the owners of the riad have any control over (but a warning would have been nice). The ugly: We didn't feel like we were welcome - more that we were tolerated. I was also quite annoyed that I was not told, at the point of booking, about the extra charges - such that a stay I was confident I was paying €210 for, actually cost me €299. It's a big difference for a single mother of two on a student budget!

Really lovely Riad just a short walk away from the main square. You are greeted by a warm welcome and traditional tea whilst completing the booking paperwork followed by a some very helpful advice and directions for the city. The rooms are lovely and clean with a authentic feel for Moroccan living. It is worth asking the Riad to arrange an airport transfer as it is a little difficult to find the Riad the first time, but by your second walk you will be walking the alleys like a local; and when we did loose our way the local children were lovely and remembered us and pointed us back in the right direction. The breakfast is lovely and just what you need to get you going for the day ahead of you. Staff are all super friendly and very helpful but french and Arabic is there strongest tongue but really do try with English.. If you want great value for money and an authentic feel this place is perfect and will not disappoint.

This road was a great value option. The room we had was pretty big, nice decor, very clean and the shower was really good. Our room was cleaned daily. AC worked and bed was great. The hosts were very helpful, and they arranged an airport transfer which I recommend because the riad is difficult to find first time whilst hauling luggage. We felt very comfortable using the terrace and coming/going whenever we pleased. It is in a safe area and walking distance to the souk and main square, but not in an overly-touristy area which was nice. A basic morroccan breakfast was served on the nice terrace: drinks, bread, jam and pastries. Overall it was a pleasant surprise in the centre of Marrakesh and a very comfortable stay. I would recommend it if you want to spend $50-60 a night.

This is a really pretty Riad! Although it's position in the heart of Medina, it's a place to relax, with its terrace. The breakfast is yummy, and various. The staff is friendly and helpfull! We really enjoy the stay in this pretty hotel!

We were really pleased with our choice. My wife and I booked the Riad as a break away from our two young children. We found the Riad to be extremely reasonably priced and quite comfortable. If you're expecting something plush, then this isnt for you, but considering the price we were very happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was included and served on the Roof terrace each morning, which gave us the chance to connect to the free wi-fi and check in at home. We were offered a very reasonably priced transfer from the Airport, they driver was there on time and very helpful, walking us through the alleys to the door. Although they dont speak any english we were able to make ourselves understood, so we'd happily recommend this Riad to like minded friends. The only reason I did not give Riad Morgane 5 stars, is we found the bed in our room to be quite hard, but I guess that is personal preference. Ross + Catherine

We found a real gem here! This Riad is about a 15 minute walk from the Medina, and down some back alleys. The Riad offered us an inexpensive transfer from the airport which we took, which was good as we would not have found it otherwise. The driver told us not to worry, we would recognise the route through the alleys in the morning, and we were surprised to find that we did! Due to the layout of Riad's, and the fact that they are in a hot country and so do not have carpets, noise can carry, but we did not find this a real problem. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace each day as part of the room rate, and one night ate dinner at the Riad. The food was really good, I would definitely recommend having the breakfasts, and trying a dinner here at least one night during your stay. Some of the reviews aren't as positive as mine, but this Riad clean and comfortable and is real value for money. We would stay here again.

We just arrived from Tangier on the Marrakech Express and came here based on trip adviser reviews. Even though we didn't have a reservation and the room wasn't made up the staff made us coffee and let us stay until the room was ready. The room was spotless, quiet and a real haven from the Medina. Room rate was 15 Euro per person and that includes breakfast. Rooms are air conditioned and nicely furnished. We will probably stay longer now that we know what a great place this is.

Riad Morgane is a lovely place to stay. We had a friendly welcome at the front door, with an invitation to sit down and have a glass of tea. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and simple traditional décor, the roof terrace was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, beautifully prepared and presented.. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Marrakesh. Some people may find it is too far from Djemma el Fna, but it is only a 15 minute walk and to make up for this, the Riad is located in a very peaceful and clean residential area of the Medina (just a five minute walk from Bab Doukkala).

We loved having breakfast on the sunny terrace, and our room was a quiet refuge from the craziness of the Marrakech medina. The staff speak very little English, and we speak very little French, but they bent over backwards to help us find our way around the city and answer any questions we had. Bear in mind that Riad Morgane is nearly impossible to find on your own. It's tucked back in a series of side streets and alleys on the edge of the Medina. You can either pay the hotel an extra 10 euros for an airport pickup, or pay a tout on the street to guide you there. We were there in November when the nights were quite cold, and were provided with extra blankets to make sleeping a bit cozier. However, the room was not heated, and the hot water in the shower only lasts about 25 seconds, so wash fast!
