My stay at Euphoriad in Rabat was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming — always smiling and ready to help without ever being intrusive. The interior design of the hotel is absolutely stunning: a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern elegance. Every detail seems carefully chosen, from the warm colors to the refined decor. The beds were simply heavenly — soft, spacious, and dressed in crisp, fresh linens. After a day full of exploring the city, it was pure bliss to sink into them. What stood out most to me, though, was the peace and quiet. Even though Euphoriad is located right in the heart of the medina, it feels serene and tranquil — the perfect place to unwind completely.

This is a lovely, traditional riad near the gates of the medina in Rabat. It is atmospheric and just exudes Moroccan architecture, and design. WOur rooms were spaco=ious, beds comfortable, amenities great. Staff were friendly (after all it is Morocco) and very helpful. We ate at the rooftop terrace - great views of the medina rooftops. Highly recommend Euphoriad.

This riad has been beautifully renovated. It is well located in the Medina.
Cons: The staff were not friendly and there was difficulty with communication (English speaking). This is at odds with our experience in other towns in Morocco. We stayed in the split level suite which looks nice but is not practical including the bed location (very tight in the area).

We chose Euphoriad for our one night in Rabat, on our way to Fes. We loved the city and regretted not having booked more time there. The riad is also exceptional. Beautiful, well located, comfortable, and functional. The room has a TV with global channel options and a minibar—items not commonly found in riads. It also features a high-standard restaurant on a charming terrace and (phew!) a Moroccan wine list. Very good Moroccan-style breakfast.

Euphoriad is truly a beautiful & elegant property. The renovation of an old riad to create Euphoriad was truly done with great attention to quality and artistic details. Very comfortable room. Excellent quality of meals (breakfasts and we had one dinner) and spa services (we did hammam & massage). And especially wonderful friendly service from staff - particularly Hajja at reception and Fooel as server at the rooftop restaurant. The location in the medina is good - about 150m from the nearest taxi drop-off point - but the laneway is well lit and well enough paved to make for easy access.
Cons: We subtracted 1 point (giving 9, not 10) because the designer went too fancy with the lighting controls - it took us all 4 days of our stay to kinda figure out which button did what! Also, dining options in close proximity to the riad are extremely limited. Save some energy for walking to/from dinner at night. (That said, night is also the best time to visit the market souks in the medina.

We stayed in Euphoriad for two nights before traveling to Marrakesh. I choose to stay at a Riad instead of hotel to experience the stay at old homes that were renovated. My experience at this Riad was fantastic. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and extremely clean. The staff was excellent and exceeded my expectations. I wanted to give a shout out to Reda who welcomed us every morning with the best breakfast meal to get our day started. This experience is definitely not for everyone. One thing to keep in mind is that you have to walk with your luggage from the Main Street to the Riad which is about 200 meters. Room layout can also be an issue as one of our rooms had the bath tub exposed to anyone in the room as it was outside of the bathroom. These issues didn't impact us and we had one of the best experiences. Dining options nearby and within short walking distance are also magnificent.

Absolutely fabulous Riad, excellent location, wonderful staff who are so helpful and pleasant. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Very impressive Riad, very artistically done, everything was tasteful and artsy and traditional and very modern at the same time (electrical lock, electric curtain) . Our room was on the ground ful, and opened directly into the lobby, which felt weird. But the room was very big (and long!!). The decorations were very avant-garde (unlike a traditional riad!), but very pleasing. there was enough room to sit comfortably on a sofa, and have a meal, the bedside light switches and phone charging points were very convenient, and the bathroom was comfortable. There was enough space for keeping suitcases and the clothes. unusual for a riad, coffee maker and kettle were provided. breakfast and dinner were excellent and very stylishly presented. The staff were very helpful in helping us to park close to the riad. The streets around the riad are clean.
Cons: Nothing. It is a bit pricey, but the ambience is so good, that one didnt mind paying that extra.

From the moment we arrived, Saad was very friendly & hospitable. By the time we finished our welcome tea & cookies, our luggage was in the room & he guided us to our room showing & telling us everything we needed to know. He answered every question & even helped us make a reservation for a restaurant nearby. Ayoub was always there for us, from serving breakfast to delivering ice or anything we needed within the Riad. Hajar at the front desk was so sweet & always there to answer any questions. She even helped us book our train tickets to Casablanca. The Riad is very impressive, beautiful & very clean! We were told that the owner is an architect & he designed it himself. Our room was more like a suite. We had welcome cookies, dates & 2 bottles of water waiting for us in the room. The bathroom was huge & the shower was very beautiful & big. It felt like we were in the Ritz Carlton but more personalized. Thank you for a great stay. We highly recommend & we will stay there again when we go to Rabat again.

Excellent location, staff and the place is so nicely designed and maintained. Kudos to the team, it was a great stay! would definitely recommend. The place also had a reserved parking so that was a big bonus. Breakfast was great!
Cons: The walk up to the property can be a bit messy; Cat and animal poo on the way - but not all the time. 2 separate bed option would have been good to have. The breakfast was good, but we only wanted smaller options from second day, however the staff did not understand what we were say. no worries, it was all good

We arrived to the property at 2:30, with a 3:00 check-in. Our room was not ready, which we expected, so we went out for half an hour. When we return a little after 3pm they said our room would not be ready for another 40 minutes or more. We were tired and really wanted to freshen up. The staff were unapologetic (an apology and making the customer feel like they are the priority goes a long way) and made us almost feel like we were imposing expecting the room to be ready on time. The room itself was very pleasant, but being on the ground floor we had to keep the blinds to the large window which looked out to the main lobby closed at all times. The staff told us no one could see in until 5pm (I guess the light changed at that time), but when we tested this one could see in at all times. Now for the bathroom. It is a well appointed bathroom but the lights are automatic. They go on with a sensor when you walk in. If you are still for too long they go off, leaving you in the dark. When you leave the bathroom they stay on for a bit until they again go off. Should you use the bathroom in the middle of the night it lights up the room, which can be problematic. Breakfast...yum!!

This Riad has everything ypu could wish including the most wonderful Baobab incense when entering the main entrance. The rooftop swimming pool has outstanding views and the service is incredible. The sweetest caring staff. Worth every penny more than the (much more) expwnsive Marriott or Four Seasons. While it’s a pedestrian area it’s really easy to reach by taxi and a few minutes on foot. From the beautifully appointed room, friendly staff, to the delicious food, every aspect of our stay was perfect. The service is flawless; the staff always go out of their way to please their guests. Do yourself a favor, when you visit Rabat for business or pleasure, stay at the Euphoriad. The property itself is amazing, beautiful decor, the rooftop was not bad. Breakfast was average, could use more variety. Dinner needed reservation of 24hr in advance so if you arrived late in the afternoon you would not be able to eat dinner. The location of the riad although very quiet but it needs a good amount of walking from the Rabat Ville Train station about 25min walk just something to consider if you have mobility issues or younger kids, it may not be the best location as cars cannot access the area, you walk through markets and narrow alleys. I was able to find the riad because I used GPS, so I think that is very important. The last night of my stay my AC stopped working but I did not bother as it was few hours before my check out. Will I stay in this Riad again ? I don't think so but it was a good experience.

Cons: Weird place run by weird people. It has no soul. No one is ever around. Told me breakfast would be served from 7am onwards as I had an early flight but no sign of any food at 7:15am so I had to leave hotel. I even woke up the front desk man who was sleeping on the couch when I was trying to get someone to bring breakfast. Have to wheel suitcases around 200m from main road. Would not return.

Service was absolutely top flight: Attentive but respectful of privacy. View from the rooftop pool and dining area is fantastic. The included breakfast was light and delicious, including fruit, nuts, pastries (Moroccan & European), and 2 eggs to order.
Cons: Not a criticism, but be aware that this riad (Islamic bed & breakfast) is in a quiet part of the medina (ancient city), inaccessible by car. That means you and your luggage will have to traverse about 130m (450 feet) of cobblestone to get on foot from the nearest auto drop-off to the hotel.

This is the most beautiful and well designed hotel I have ever stayed in - and I have stayed in several 5 star properties all over the world There is so much fine craftmanship here - you are immersed in all that is the best about Morocco The service is so friendly and efficient - the decor is a work of Art and really highlights the many great craftsmen of the city Beds are really comfortable, turn down service perfect and you really feel as if you are staying as a privileged guest of the Pasha I would also like to thank Fati - with whom I booked a massage in my gorgeous room This was a fabulous massage executed with great care and consideration All in all a wonderful place to stay - right in the heart of the Medina - but in a supremely tranquil location I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful terrace however, the place lacks soul. The restaurant is functional and a little cramped. The breakfast is ok . We ate in the evening and that had no ambiance and it was expensive and portions were small. The architecture and the decor of the riad is truly impressive. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and equipped to a high standard. The dinner we have had at the riad was also relatively good.
Cons: The main issue is the staff: they appear totally aloof and unhelpful, just about doing the bare minimum, lacking enthusiasm and not being attentive to possible travellers' needs. E.g. they are unable/unwilling to provide local info (or even a map), no-one bothers to ask if you want more tea/coffee at breakfast, no-one offers help with the luggage from the riad (in the pedestrianised part of medina) to a taxi. Consequently, the atmosphere is absolutely lacking and contrasts unfavourably with other places we stayed at during our Morocco trip. You simply do not get the feeling of being welcome. Moreover, apart from being a hotel, riad holds events in the restaurant/courtyard area, which could be noisy (especially for rooms downstairs), as the rooms are not properly sound-proofed. Overall, Euphoriad stay was the most disappointing experience of the multi-city Morocco trip.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our Morocco trip. This Riad has about 8 or so rooms/suites and is located at the northern end of the medina (old city) of Rabat in a quiet, narrow street. It’s tucked away but straightforward to find with Google maps and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. This Riad combines the beauty of a historic building, Moorish in style, with the conveniences of a modern boutique hotel. It’s very stylish and clean. Our room had a fridge, safe, TV with some English channels, a kettle etc. Bed was good, linen, pillows and towels all high quality. WiFi worked very well and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. It’s quite ‘gadgety’, with electric blinds and buttons for lights and an iPad for something, it took me a day or so to get to grips with it all. The hotel serves a delicious traditional breakfast. There is a rooftop pool with a view across the medina which is lovely, but unheated so a bit nippy for me. There are some sun loungers and a shaded seating area. Some people may consider that this Riad has been over restored and does not offer a ‘real’ Riad experience. But this Riad has several advantages. It is much quieter than the more traditional type (which usually have no sound proofing) , is more accessible because it has a lift and doesn’t have steep narrow stairs or low doorways, and has sliding glass windows which keep biting insects out. The staff here are very kind and helpful and made a real effort to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed our 3 days here, the weather was beautiful and Rabat is a lovely clean green city. The Rabat medina is nice to walk around, much calmer than Marrakesh and comparatively easy to navigate as it’s on more of a grid pattern. The tram is a 10 minute walk away and is handy for getting around town, it’s cheap (about 50p a trip) clean, safe and reliable. Most of the local restaurants do not serve alcohol, however we found a few places that did, we can particularly recommend BazArt. A transfer to the airport cost 250 dhs and takes about 20 minutes. We would stay here again if we returned to Rabat.

Nice Riad, room was large and clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was local and nothing special. In our opinion it could have been better. It is very well located, near the medina of Rabat. Do not ask for recommendations for restaurants because they will send you to ‘tourist-traps’ that are way to expensive.

An excellent accommodation in Rabat quite close to the city centre. The riad is luxurious and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and free tea and coffee to start your day. The breakfast is superb and the service of the staff is excellent. The staff also helped us with parking our car which was much much appreciated.

Tucked away up an alley in the Medina, only the door hints at what is behind. It swings open into a dreamy entrance hall blending modern and traditional. At the end you turn into the open air central patio that rises two stores up to the roof (there is a sliding glass roof against rain and cold). The riad has been beautifully restored and re-imagined into a luxury 8 room hotel. two sitting areas give way to a dining room and a further open patio. The rooms are spread over two stories. Most are suites. The bathrooms are slick - one small complaint is the absence of sufficient hanging hooks or rods). Everything is beautifully decorated and supremely comfortable. On the roof there are sunning areas, a small pool and hammam and sauna. At one end is a covered seating area to relax, have a drink (rooftop bar) or eat in moroccan style off low tables. The food is beautifully prepared in house. The riad is a perfect base for visiting Rabat and Sale. The staff have addresses of shops and guides.

The Breakfast was excellent- almost too much :) All the staff went out of their way to help us and to guide us to where to go and offered to get us picked up later in the evening. Thank you Great stay-one of our favourite Riads - wished we could stay longer.
Cons: Even though parking wasn't closeby, the Riad advised us and helped with the parking warden to keep our car safe and secure.

The riad is beautiful, and the pool was a big plus.
Cons: I was surprised when the employee (or riad host) did not greet us at the door when we arrived. Greeting a guest when they are entering the riad or house is customary. (I’ve stayed at many riads in Morocco over the past 9 years and I don’t remember not being greeted at the door upon arrival the first day). The room was comfortable but I was a little disappointed not have a traditional riad-style room. Also, the windows in our room opened to a small patio and we could hear guests talking in the other rooms.

aAmodern, beautiful Riad in a quite part of town, yet easy to get around. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Cons: The pool was freezing so even though it was a hot day, we couldn’t do more than dip our feet in. Breakfast was ok, though I didn’t have cutlery and it took the server two trips down and back up to bring me a knife. Ended up sharing my husband’s fork.

Euphoriad is a modern, innovative and charming Riad. I highly appreciated how they refurbished this historical building. All clean from entrance to bathroom. The breakfast was consistently good. the common areas are beautiful and the swimming pool is simply perfect. breakfast is very good.
Cons: our room had issues with AC (extremely noisy) and the property was not able to fix it and proposed us another room that was not provided by AC (not an option since it was extremely hot) so we decided to stay in our room but were not able to sleep during the night. they applied a 10% discount - only after my complains during the check out. they claims to have a restaurant and a hammam but no one mentioned them during our stay. when asked for dinner they suggested us an external restaurant that - in the end - was a very good option. bathroom of our room was not very well designed especially the sink, almost impossible to be used.

This is a beautifully restored and modern riad in the Rabat medina. While we did not have a ton of time to explore the immediate area, the coast is about a ten minute walk away, and the train station is less than ten minutes by taxi (the ride came to a little over 1 USD). The staff was all very accommodating, but some do not speak much English - however, everyone was very patient, and we were able to get by with a mix of English and French. The room was nicely furnished, spotless, and modern, with a beautiful, updated bathroom. Unfortunately our TV was not working, but the wifi was reliable most of the time. Free breakfast is standard but tasty continental fair (yogurt, coffee/tea, croissants/bread, fresh-squeezed orange juice). Overall, I wish we could have stayed more than one night, as this was definitely the best/most modern/cleanest accommodation we had throughout our trip to Morocco, and dinner smelled amazing!

I make over 25 trips per year for the last ten years. This place is in my top 5 places I've ever stayed! There are only 8 rooms featuring unique design. I manage to see two of the rooms and they were gorgeous. The amenities included everything one will need and of a luxurious quality. The designs are moroccan but the rooms also included some automations - automatic lights and window covers, ability to create different ambience using various presents of the lights, etc. The TV was hidden but you can pop it up. Also uniquely designed modern furniture with traditional design. The modern elements didn't conflict the traditional design! Wifi was strong and available throughout the establishment including on the roof top. The roof top itself is unique. The riad has elevator which should make it accessible for handicap visitors. Lastly, the staff are amazing, friendly and catering to any special requests. They also took a good care of my friend while she fall sick for a day. I questioned how the investment into the establishment would have paid and find out that the place was originally renovated for a private residence, then converted into a hotel.

Rabat is a lovely city brimming with great sights (Kasbah of the Oudayas, Medina, Hassan Tower, Chellah) and this is the perfect base. Tucked away behind a doorway near the top of the Medina, Euphoriad is a magically restored riad where the customer care is as important as the impeccable design. Thank you Amina & Younes for a lovely stay (& the Moroccan breakfast on the roof is the best).

This is hands-down the most beautiful and well-designed hotel we have ever stayed in - and we travel A LOT! Originally designed as place for the owners friends to stay when visiting, it has now been opened to the public. Stunning details abound.Beautiful artwork, sculptures and traditional flair. The staff, especially Yones, goes out of the way to make your stay incredible. Dinner was divine. Do understand the path to the front door is not any indicator as to the quality of the property. It is down a few winding alleys off a major road but once inside you'll be blown away!

We booked the hotel expecting that there will be aircon as it was 38 degrees daily there and it was also stated in the bookings that it has air conditioner. But after checking in, we found out that our room's aircon is being fixed and the manager could not move us to another room either because they were ALL being fixed except one room, but it is already been occupied. So, it was incredibly hot during the night. I believe it wasnt right to not inform the guests about this beforehand, and definitely not worth the price we paid for if they cannot provide us with air conditioning in during the summer here. There was just absolutely no air circulation in the room, it was stuffy and hot and the linens even felt a bit wet because of the humidity.

Certainly expensive, but by far a beautifully crafted luxurious hotel. We booked this hotel for the safety purposes during travel, and it provides such. Beautiful architecture and rooms are detailed and spacious (we had to change our reservation last-minute and stayed in a junior suite instead of a deluxe). Like other reviews, the air conditioning wasn't working consistently, the Wi-Fi is spotty, and it was an average of 26 degrees in the room. Cool technology effect of being iPad-controlled, but I can imagine how difficult it would be for anyone who is not savvy. Great bed/pillows/shower, and the staff are willing to help in any way. Don't be shy; this hotel isn't the norm so you'll need to be willing to ask for help, this includes telling them about your breakfast time plans (so that they can have it ready), any desire for the hamman or massage services, wanting to eat on the terrace, room needs, travel needs, taxi needs, nearby places to eat, etc. My only complaint is the AC and Wi-Fi, but within walking distance to the medina and a short/cheap taxi ride (choose the blue taxi) to other places of interest.
