The riad itself is beautiful, full of character, with a charming traditional décor that feels both authentic and memorable. There is plenty of terrace space to relax, a refreshing pool available to guests, and lots of greenery that contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and kept in a lovely traditional style that enhances the overall experience. Breakfasts were mainly on the sweet side, but tasty and fresh. Both the mint tea and the coffee were very good.
Cons: The area is okay, but it’s about a 30-minute walk from the main square. You won’t see many tourists here; it’s mostly a residential neighborhood. In the evenings, you might not feel completely comfortable or entirely safe, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. There are quite a few local people approaching or trying to engage you in conversation, which can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Palais Tinmel a Marrakech e l’esperienza è stata davvero memorabile. La struttura unisce perfettamente l’eleganza tipica dei palazzi marocchini con un’atmosfera intima e rilassante. Gli ambienti sono curati in ogni dettaglio: architettura tradizionale, colori caldi, profumi speziati e una tranquillità che ti avvolge appena entri. Le camere sono ampie, pulite e arredate con gusto, con quel tocco marocchino autentico che rende tutto più magico. Il punto forte è il personale: gentile, disponibile e attento, sempre pronto ad aiutare con consigli, organizzare trasferimenti o semplicemente coccolare gli ospiti. La colazione è ricca, fresca e molto varia, con prodotti locali e un servizio impeccabile.

Cons: A localização do Riad: apesar de ser dentro da medina fica um pouco longe do centro, e não fica na zona mais interessante da medina. O Riad apesar de ser muito bonito, já está a precisar de uma intervenção, ao nivel dos tapetes e dos estofos dos espaços comuns. Mas apesar de tudo, é muito confortável e seguro.

Cons: Nosso quarto tinha apenas uma janela pequena, ficou um pouco confuso com as fotos do booking. A localizacao não é muito conveniente para quem quer ficar perto do mercado, a caminhada é longa e o hotel é localizado num bairro mais simples. Acho que é muito bom para quem tem interesse tmabém em conhecer a parte nova da cidade uma vez que é muito perto de um dos portões da medina.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad! The place is very nice, clean, and beautifully decorated, but what really makes it special is the incredibly welcoming staff. Before arriving, I had read some of the less positive reviews and shared my concerns with them — they were very reassuring and responsive. When we arrived (even though it was midnight), they met us at the drop-off point nearby and greeted us with delicious Moroccan tea. Mouaad was amazing — he helped organize our taxis to and from the restaurants we had booked, and even prepared a takeaway breakfast for our early departure. The location is a bit farther from the main square, but there’s easy access by car and a nearby drop-off/parking area, which is a big plus in Marrakech. Overall, we felt very well taken care of and would definitely recommend this riad to anyone visiting!

Riad incantevole ed ottima la posizione: nel cuore della Medina. Staff eccezionale, sempre disponibile a qualsiasi nostra richiesta anche in tempi molto brevi. Nadir ci ha accolto all'arrivo a notte fonda avendo cura di accompagnarci dal parcheggio all entrata del Riad. Mouaad ci ha coccolato con le sue fantastiche premure per assicurarci un soggiorno fantastico.. (He is the best 😍) Mohamed ci ha viziato durante le eccezionali colazioni servendoci in modo esemplare e con grandissimo riguardo per i nostri gusti e/o preferenze. Credo che gran parte dell'esperienza fantastica a Marrakech sia dovuta alle premure dello staff del Riad. Torneremo sicuramente. A presto. ❤️

Mouaad es como tener un asesor de viajes incluido, que está pendiente de las necesidades que puedan surgir, desde lo más básico como una coca cola hasta conseguir excursiones o datos para hacer shopping. Sin el, no sería la excelente evaluación, es clave él en que de la máxima calificación a esta estadía.
Cons: Lo unico que no me gusto es que para ir a cualquier lugar se debe tomar un tuk tuk, ya que en la medina de por si es complicado ubicarse y si falla el internet es imposible saber donde uno está localizado. Sin embargo, Mouaad nos ayudó en tener siempre eso resuelto.

I loved the hotel. It was a traditional Moroccan hotel with beautiful decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised all our tours and the kitchen was open when ever we wanted to order some food. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We even had a small pool to jump into at the end of the day to cool off after being in the streets all day.

Everything was truly exceptional. The buildings and room were beautiful, the breakfast and dinner we had were gorgeous, and the staff really went above and beyond. As two women traveling together in Morocco for the first time (and without cell service), we were a little unsure what to expect, what exactly to see, how to get around, etc. Mouaad especially made the best recommendations, gave great advice, coordinated our transport around Marrakech by tuktuk, and arranged our transport back to the airport. He took care of so many things that would otherwise have been stressful, allowing us to just enjoy our vacation in this beautiful city and riad. Definitely highly recommend Palais Tinmel.

Cons: Le personnel qui mets la pression pour dîner chez eux (tarifs x3 par rapport à ce que l’on peut trouver en extérieur). Les hauts parleurs de l’appel à la prière, vraiment trop proches, qui réveillent vers 04h30 tous les matins. Petit-déjeuner copieux, mais trop sec, sans serviette, vaiselle ebrechée et chaise cassée. L’emplacement trop éloigné de toute les activités et restauration (30min à pieds). Serviette de toilette trouée et tachée. La piscine pas chauffée, trop petite et pas éclairée. Porte de la salle de bain / WC qui ne ferme pas.

Accueil exceptionnel par Morad, digne de la légendaire hospitalité Marocaine. Tout au long du séjour, Morad et Mohammed ont été â l'écoute et disponible, toujours prêts à nous aider, jusqu'à même amener nos valises à la place lors du départ. Ce qui était très pratique car nous étions en famille avec 2 petites de 2 ans et 4 ans. Je recommande fortement cet établissement, un cadre magnifique, une petite piscine superbe, de très belles terrasses pour se reposer. Bref on adore. Enfin, le petit déjeuner comme les repas étaient excellents.
Cons: Rien ! Si vous avez un enfant de 2 ans, prévoyez une poussette ou un porte bébé car les taxis ne peuvent pas acceder dans la Médina c'est tout. Par contre, le Touk touk peut venir vous chercher devant la porte du palais, et les enfants ont adoré la balade en touk touk !

The Staffs Nadir, Mehdi, Mouad, and FatimZahra are amazing, and nothing is too much (and the older man too didnt catch his name sorry, great team!). They are warm, friendly and very helpful. We loved the special touches in our room as it was my birthday, that's was thoughtful.

Es war einfach wunderschön! Das Gebäude ist wirklich schön. Es fehlte nichts an die Ausstattung. Das Zimmer und das Badezimmer waren groß. Das Personal ist super nett und immer hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns mehrere Tipps bezüglich Tours und Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt gegeben. Sehr empfehlenswert für jeden, der eine gute Zeit in Marrakesch verbringen will.

Cons: The customer service was terrible from the two people doing front of house ,everything seemed to be for their convenience and not mine,they were very unwelcoming .They wanted me to pay cash for a room that wasn’t being vacated for another night at 10pm when I arrived back tired although I’d been in The riad all day .Usually you pay your bill at the end of a stay.They behaved as if I might run off without paying.There was a girl who apologised on their behalf because I said something to one of the men . The Shower head in bathroom needed attention and flooded floor.The food was ok but items were forgotten.Didn’t seem a very happy place.

I was honestly very pleased with my overall experience at Palais Tinmel. The staff was kind, we were treated very well since our arrival. The place is beautiful, a true oasis! The breakfast was also very good, with both savory and sweet options and the staff was always available to attend our requests on more fruit or coffee. We were blown away by the overall feeling of the place when we arrived: nice ambiance, incredible smell and a lovely welcoming tea with Moroccan pastries. We also hade one dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious, although a bit on the pricey side. In general I would highly recommend staying there and I feel we had a beautiful and positive experience in a true Riad.
Cons: I'm rating a 9 because, although the place is amazing and we loved our stay, there is still room for improvements. I would recommend making sure the lighting in the rooms is always warm (we had a couple of cold-lighted light bulbs which were not very pleasant) and perhaps a choice of lower pillows, since the ones we had were a bit too high for us. The location is also a tiny bit further away from the center of the medina — which for us was not really a problem, but for others less keen on walking could be.

Il Palais Tinmel è una struttura molto affascinante. Situato a nord della Medina di Marrakech e praticamente a 5 minuti di strada a piedi da un parcheggio molto grande; logisticamente parlando è situato molto bene e raggiungibile senza problemi. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile.

Cons: しかし、場所があまりにも悪い。。フナ広場から徒歩30分ほどとあるが、治安は最悪で「こっちは行き止まりだよ」って言ってくる嘘つきが沢山います。 滞在が短い方はフナ広場から近い場所に宿を取ることをお勧めします。

Cons: What I didn't like had nothing to do with the hotel or staff. It was more to do with the Riad . The whole experience was surreal . I really loved my stay here

Cons: Lo único que no me gustó es el entorno, salir del hotel y ver los alrededores, una zona precaria y marginal dónde las calles son muy sucias. Creí que era una buena elección que estuviera dentro de la medina antigua, pero no dimensioné que eso era lo único que no me agradaría.

Gorgeous riad slightly on the outskirts of the medina, away from the very touristy spots and people trying to catch attention to sell stuff. Yet still very easy to walk to restaurants and the centre of the medina. We came back to Marrakech a week later and wished we stayed at Palais Tinmel again. Comfortable and clean.
Cons: Breakfast is decent, could be better for the price.

The riad is truly beautiful with traditional tiled floors, Berber rugs, carved shutters and beautiful Moroccan stained glass lampshades. The rooms are large and comfortable. We had a family room which was perfect for travelling with two children. There is a small swimming pool which the kids enjoyed and places to relax and sunbathe. As soon as you step into the riad you leave the hustle and bustle of the Medina and souks behind. It's a haven of peace and tranquillity with birds singing in the courtyard.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a hamman/ massage at the riad. There was an offer of this but at another nearby riad.

É um prédio histórico com decoração muito próxima do Palácio Bahia. Os funcionários Mouad da recepção e Mohamed do café da manhã são incríveis. Muouad é simpático, fala inglês muito bem, explica como funciona a cidade, os pontos turísticos, a comida. Parece um agente de turismo muito experiente. Ele ajuda com todas as dificuldades. Muhamed torna seu café da manhã uma experiência 5 estrelas. Ele é elegante e cortês, parece um bailarino servindo os pratos. Procura agradar todas as solicitações. Nos sentimos muito acolhidos por todos os funcionários do hotel. Tivemos uma estadia longa de 7 diárias então observamos bastante. O salão comum tem uma música suave e um jardim muito agradável , sempre ofertam cha de menta e é um espaço muito relaxante.
Cons: Gostei muito de tudo mas a ressalva que faço sobre a localização, que é boa, próximo dos pontos turísticos principais mas fica localizado dentro da medina( a cidade amuralhada) a aparência externa dos imóveis , as ruas estreitas e com curvas assusta no início principalmente para nós brasileiros que vivemos em um país com muita violência urbana e assaltos, mas marrakesh é muito segura para turistas. O hotel oferece sempre algum funcionário para acompanhar até o ponto onde os automóveis estão ( fora das muralhas) são 5 a 8 minutos de caminhada. Dessa forma nos sentimos muito seguros e aproveitamos o trajeto para conhecer como as pessoas realmente vivem em Marrakesh. Se tem a mente aberta é diferente mas seguro e uma vivência única.

Cons: Die Dusche und der Abfluss waren defekt und mussten repariert werden. Reklamation wurde zunächst bezweifelt („marrokanische Dusche“). Das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem angekündigten hellen Zimmer und lag dunkel im Erdgeschoss. Abends laute Musik bis nach 23h im Innenhof (unbedingt Ohropax mitnehmen!). Beim Frühstück sahen wir, dass die Nachbarn zusätzliche Speisen hatten, um die wir dann bitten mussten (unangenehm). Hinterließ das Gefühl wegen unserer Beschwerden nicht mehr willkommen zu sein (übertriebenes Nachfragen und Freundlichkeit). Wifi durchgängig schwach.

Schönes Riad, sehr stimmig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Eine Insel der Ruhe. Personal außerordentlich zuvorkommend. Zum Frühstück wird jeden Tag verschiedenes Gebäck frisch zubereitet. Das Riad liegt in der nördlichen Medina, man lebt also mitten unter den Einheimischen, in einer engen Gasse, das Riad ist also nur zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber die nächste Straße ist nur ein paar Gassen entfernt; dort gibt es auch immer Taxis. Auf den Platz Dejma El Fna kommt man zu Fuß in ca. 25 Minuten.
Cons: Abends braucht es zum Heimkommen immer ein Taxi, weil man durch die Gassen zu Fuß nicht "heim" findet. Aber das nimmt man wohl im Kauf, wenn man in der Medina wohnt.

Palais Tinmel is een superleuke riad. Het is gelegen iets buiten de drukte van het zalige Marrakesh maar alles ligt op wandelafstand. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en heel proper. Het ontbijt en het diner zijn heel lekker. En het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam! Kortom, de ideale uitvalsbasis voor een citytrip naar Marrakesh.

Das Hotel liegt recht zentral in der Medina, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Das Personal war trotz Ramadan täglich bemüht, uns den Aufenthalt so nett wie möglich zu gestalten, das Frühstück war reichlich und wenn möglich, wurden alle Wünsche erfüllt. Es gibt innerhalb des Riad's viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten, kleine Sitzecken und von der obersten Terrasse einen wundervollen Blick über die Medina bis zum Atlasgebirge. Die Zimmer waren traditionell eingerichtet und sauber.
Cons: Die Zimmer zur Strasse sind leider sehr laut und die Nachtruhe war schwierig, man sollte unbedingt ein Zimmer zum Innenhof nehmen. Die "Suite" wurde ihrem Namen leider nicht gerecht, es war ein Doppelzimmer, das kleine (aber durchaus ausreichende) Bad war leider nur durch einen Vorhang vom Zimmer abgetrennt.

Every staff member, Azzam, and unfortunately I don’t remember the other 2 guys from the reception are the best of the best, and the cleaning staff too, everyone super super super nice and kind, I can’t stress enough how kind and nice they all are. The first day of arrival book a transfer because it’s not easy to find the first time, it’s very close 4 min but the streets are small and a few turns, with a transfer they pick you up and then it’s easier. And then for the remaining days with google maps you get by. Can’t wait to come back :) Shukran to all the people that work in the riad ❤️

Cons: Situation : Le Riad est située dans une zone "délabrée" de la médina, à 30mn à pied des activités, des souks et de la place Jemma el fna ! Nous avons eu froid ! Chauffage inexistant dans les chambres et les parties communes * 12° dans les chambres : la climatisation/chauffage placée au niveau du plafond (à 4m de hauteur) est totalement inefficace ! * Salon et Salle à manger : 1 unique petit radiateur mobile ne permet pas de chauffer les 2 pièces. Nous étions 5 personnes pour les fêtes de fin d'année... Diner de réveillon avec manteaux et écharpes !

Amazingly beautiful authentic Riad. With beautiful mint tea and sweets on arrival. Lovely room with a beautiful copper bathroom. Very romantic and well positioned on a stunning courtyard. Breakfast was great with a variety of local specialities fresh orange juice . Mint tea or coffee Our receptionist was so helpful in helping us send a carpet we bought home. My partner David had an Indiana Jones experience on the back of his motor bike with a five foot carpet. Thanks to the ladies that found the plastic to wrap it in. An amazing experience .
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about the Riad it was all fantastic. We had a couple of experiences where we were asked for money for directions. So just be aware if you accept directions you will be expected to pay. Carry some low denomination notes in case . You can however always ring reception. To get about ensure you have roaming .

Overall was ok, if you expect to find regular amenities of a lodging such as iron board etc… this may not be your place. I was upset at check out when they made me pay a city tax which was not included in the price I paid in Expedia and was never mentioned in any website of communication, expedirá should be more transparent with this kind of things, does illy when you pay a price which confirms, all taxes and fees are included.

Das Hotel ist sehr hübsch. Der Besitzer hat mich zum Parkplatz begleitet und nachts abgeholt. Als allein reisende Frau würde ich das wieder so machen. Das war hilfreich. Das Hotel ist typisch marrokanisch und hat ein tolles Flair. Insgesamt war uns das Hotel aber zu weit ab vom Schuss. Ich würde das nächste Mal eines näher in der Stadt buchen und mir Taxi Fahrten sparen. Das liegt aber an der Lage. Das Personal und Hotel war sehr gut.
Cons: Das Hotel ist zwar in der Medina, aber doch knapp 30 Min. Außerhalb und in den kleinen Gassen fahren keine Taxen. Somit ist man immer angewiesen, zu laufen bzw. Vom Parkplatz ein Taxi für ca. 15€ zu nehmen. (Hin rück 30€). Das Frühstück ist gut, dauert aber lang. Wir haben meist 45 Min. Eingeplant und haben das Essen nach guten 30 Min. Bekommen. Das ist eben typisch für dort und wir sind es nicht gewohnt zu warten. Mussten uns dann also schon beeilen, da wir Ausflüge gebucht hatten. Diese jedoch nicht übers Hotel, weil hier schon ordentlich drauf geschlagen wurde. Trinkgeld ist gern gesehen.

Housni was an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to assist us, even helping us print our boarding passes. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce riad très typique et bien entretenu. La vue des différentes terrasses est magnifiques. La restauration est très bonne et s adapte à votre demande. Le personnel est très sympathique et en particulier HOUSNI qui a été de très bons conseils pour nous indiquer les bons restaurants dans la médina et nous organiser plusieurs excursions. Nous recommandons ce riad et ne manquerons pas d y retourner lors de notre prochaine escapade à Marrakech.

El trato por parte del personal y en especial el de Yassin, el cual habla en castelllano y varios idiomas más, nos indicó y asesoró muy bien El hotel está ubicado en un antiguo palacio en el que vivían las 10 esposas de un General. El sitio es precioso con unas azoteas y unos patios de ensueño. Está a una media hora andando de la plaza Jemaa el-Fna.

This is a gem of a place! Exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds and friendly, helpful staff. Located in the busy medina, it’s a hidden away oasis where you can truly relax after a day’s sightseeing. Really glad we stayed here instead of a hotel, I felt we got a more authentic experience and certainly better service!

The whole team was incredibly nice and very helpful. Housni and Mohamed in particular are very dear to my heart! I was traveling alone and had some respect for walking through the small streets in the evening, so Housni showed me the city at night on my last evening, for which I thank him very much! I can only recommend the accommodation and it certainly wasn't my last time there!

Cons: 20-30 minute walk into main area which meant negotiating the maze of streets that felt a little threatening at night, as not only are you dodging the countless motorbikes zooming past with no consideration for pedestrians, you’re also fending off self proclaimed ‘guides’ who claim to want to make sure you’re safe (despite not requiring their services) and then getting angry when you don’t want to pay their sudden demand for compensation. This isn’t a fault of this stunning riad but the location meant that we met a few of these men. Make sure you know where you’re going and politely insist that you don’t need them! We learnt the hard way!

We loved the ambience and the decor. Really beautiful riad, great location, and truly like an oasis to return to after a day spent exploring the buzzing Medina. Staff really welcoming and helpful from arrival to departure - truly wonderful.
Cons: As it's a historical building, the rooms are therefore not soundproof so you can hear other guests sometimes. Not a huge problem for us but may be for light sleepers.

La propreté du lieux, le ménage de notre chambre était fait tous les jours, les petits déjeuner très copieux et très bon. Très bon séjour avec nos 2 enfants. Très bon riad que je recommande sans soucis.
Cons: Pas grand chose de négatif à redire, en cherchant bien je dirais le réglage de la douche un peu compliqué et l'attente un peu longue le soir au restaurant. Mais rien de méchant ce sont des détails.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Looked exactly like the photos on Booking.com. A hidden gem from the streets. Everyone in the hotel would go out of their way to be super helpful and make sure your stay went smoothly. It is about 30 mins walk to the main square.
Cons: The only thing which we think the hotel could improve on is breakfast. Breakfast isn’t buffet or à la carte. You get a set of dishes brought to your table which you can’t pre-select. In our case we didn’t eat too much sweet dishes and didn’t have much of choice. We requested more savoury dishes but go the same set up everyday. This mostly means you get one savoury dish and two sweet dishes plus fruit. I think it would go a long way if guests were asks what they would prefer before hand - also avoids food to go to waste.

Welcome is arranged with tea and exceptional Moroccan hospitality. They also helped us to organize some visits to the museums in Marrakech. First they had manage to change the day of our reservation so that they did not have a room for us, but this they did not teall us. Then they manage to miss to pick-up my wife from the airport. We did get a room after 45 minutes. Food OK but not more. The place has a certain charm and can be fantastic with the right management. Location is in the North of the old town, where most of the attractions and restaurants are in the south.

Les petits déjeuners copieux. La piscine est petite mais suffisante pour se rafraîchir. Nous avions la chambre 10 la suite familiale qui est très spacieuse avec une très jolie salle de bain et sa terrasse privative. Comptez 15 min à pied de l'entrée des souks vous vous emmène jusqu'à la place. Et 5 minutes à pied d'une porte de la médina pour les taxis ou départ des excursions. Tout était parfait merci beaucoup.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Bei jeglichen Problemen und Schwierigkeiten halfen sie uns umgehend. Am ersten Tag saßen sie mit uns und gaben uns die besten Empfehlungen für den Urlaub. Sie nannten uns Orte, die wir besuchen können, gaben uns Restaurantvorschläge, halfen uns bei Buchungen und kümmerten sich liebevoll um unsere Nachfragen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Auch gab es jeden Tag etwas Neues zum Frühstück. Das Hotel war sauber und sehr schön und traditionell eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und sehr willkommen:)

We arrived late into Marrakech and took a taxi to the north gate of the Medina as can’t get to the door via car. It’s a bit of a maze in there so my family (including 11 month old baby) were very thankful the staff came out to meet us at the gate and help us with our luggage. Upon arrival we were served tea and given some excellent recommendations of things to do while in Marrakech (most of which we did and enjoyed). Would highly recommend. 10/10

Le personnel de l'hôtel était incroyablement accueillant et serviable, toujours prêt à répondre à nos besoins. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et confortable, offrant une vue imprenable sur la médina depuis notre terrasse privée.Le restaurant de l'hôtel nous a également impressionnés avec sa délicieuse cuisine marocaine. The riad overall is a pretty place to stay and has very welcoming staff. Unfortunately when we (my friend and I) arrived our room wasn‘t cleaned propperly (in the shower was still hair from previous guests, bedsheets and pillowcases with stains and hair on it). After demanding fresh bedsheets they only made the bed and didn‘t actually gave us new/clean bedsheets. We stayed for five nights and they never cleaned our room nor changed our towles. They only „made“ our bed everyday so the room seemed to be clean but it wasn‘t actually. We wouldn‘t recommend their breakfast because the quality was low and it wasn‘t really tasty nor diverse. We stayed in many different riads all around morocco and this one was the priciest but had by far the weakest price-performance ratio. our conclusion: the price isn‘t justified.

Es un riad muy limpio, con un personal muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Cuenta con diferentes zonas donde relajarse, comer o pasar el tiempo. La piscina está limpia aunque es algo pequeña.

Cons: En revanche je n'ai pas apprécié le fait qu'un individu extérieur à l'établissement porte nos valises (sans se présenter ni communiquer ses tarifs) à l'entrée du village et nous demande une rémunération une fois arrivé devant l'hotel. C'etait trés désagréable on s'est senti piégé. L'hotel devrait réagir face à ces individus malhonetes.

Cons: Que en el "barrio" donde se encuentra hay muchas personas (masculinas) que te acosan, sobre todo si eres mujer (iba con mi marido de la mano y aún así lo hacían). También, en la calle, hay niños, jóvenes y mayores que te piden dinero por TODO y te siguen hasta que ya cedes a darles algo. Sobre todo niños pequeños, qué vergüenza que estén los chiquillos así. Otra cosa que no me gustó (aunque lo entiendo también) es que no había tele en la habitación.

Cons: Le seul bémol est le quartier où il n’y a pas grand chose à côté. L’accueil quand à lui est un peu réservé, en effet on nous a accueilli avec un thé et des biscuits mais aucunes explications de l’organisation de l’hôtel ( heure des petits dej, un code wifi, le quartier…) bref c’est dommage !

Cons: We were mocked and chased by men who were trying to get us to pay them for helping us park. The hotel staff came to pick us up and was laughing when were so scared. The men called my friend a 'bitch' and threw glass at her. The staff were smiling and said they are just children. We were very scared. Very loud in the early hours of the morning. Location was poor and we didn't feel safe.

The staff was really nice and helpful, they tried to accommodate our needs (earlier breakfast), we had a nice welcome tea and they even recommended what to visit in Marrakech. I really appreciated they could offer gluten free meals for me as a Celiac.
Cons: We opted for a 'superior double room' listed as 19m2 with great photos, but we got a very small room downstairs with a weird smell due to (possibly) the sewage system. Had we known this before, we wouldn't have paid that much money.

The staff in Palais Tinmel particularly Saied and Yesseen (not sure on spelling) were so very helpful, friendly and happy to chat to us and our sons. They were above and beyond what you would expect from hotel staff. Also the lovely smiley house keeper Loubne and the older gentleman who helped us find the cab driver we were meeting on the last day were such nice people. They could not have been nicer. The accommodation was lovely too. A beautiful place. Breakfasts were good and we ate one evening meal there which was the best meal we had in the whole weeks stay in Marrakech. I cannot recomend this place highly enough. Thank you Palais Tinmel, you gave us a perfect week and you were a sanctuary to return to every evening from the busy Medina. Laura, Marcus, Barney and Oscar.

O staff do hotel foi extraordinário. Sempre que necessitámos de alguma coisa estavam prontamente disponíveis, especialmente o Saheed! O pequeno-almoço é bom e variado. Os quartos são confortáveis e o Riade é lindíssimo.
Cons: A única desvantagem do hotel é estar um pouco afastado do centro, dentro da Medina, onde por vezes o ambiente não é muito agradável.

Le réceptionniste et baggagier étaient gentils. Nous n'avons cependant pas séjourné dans l'hôtel suite à une aggression que nous avons subi juste devant celui-ci.
Cons: Le principal problème de cet hébergement était l'emplacement. Nous nous sommes fait physiquement agressées devant le Palais Tinmel par un jeune homme, avant même que nous arrivions. Bien sûr, nous ne nous sentions pas en sécurité et nous étions profondément choquées, mais les responsables de l'hôtel n'ont pas été compréhensifs et n'ont pas souhaité nous donner de compensation financière suite à ce désagrément, bien que Booking souhaitait faire un geste. Nous sommes cependant parties et n'avons pas séjourné dans l'hôtel.

Cons: The property is just outside of the centre of the Medina, it's in a quieter location and a bit far from center. My Girlfriend as water on breakfast 3 times... and we was charged 2.50Euro for each bottle of water!

The staff were fantastic and the decor was beautiful. It was a unique experience being in a historical riad!
Cons: The pillows were some of the most uncomfortable I have ever used and hurt my neck a lot. It felt like small pieces of paper bunched in a bag. The location was a lot farther from the Medina than I realized but it was still a good experience to walk through.

Cons: The breakfast was too little. Even though we had let them know about our check out time and our need to have breakfast just 30 mins earlier than usual, when we wanted to check out it was said that we need to wait and we could not eat. When we arrived at the room, shampoo bottle and douche gel were half empty and when we needed refill we were told that it is in a bigger bottle so they could not refill??? Another thing is that it is bit far from the center, it was not that problematic for us but could be for families with little kids since the streets could be dangerous.

Le Riad était vraiment magnifique, le staff gentil et attentionné. Nous avions réservé une suite pour 4 personnes, la chambre était splendide et très grande, avec la clim. Nous avons pu réserver des activités sur-mesure directement avec le Riad. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux.
Cons: La localisation du Riad… il est situé au nord de la médina, à environ 20mn à pied du souk principal, ce qui peut être assez long si on y marche le soir. Pour accéder au Riad, il faut passer par des petites rues où nous nous sommes senties plusieurs fois mal à l’aise. La rue est impraticable pour les voitures, il faut donc marcher quelques temps pour rejoindre le Riad à pied.

The Riad is in the medina itself, so Hamza received us at the entrance and helped us reach the Riad. It is a little gem - very clean, beautifully designed and decorated in Moroccan style.. giving you a feel of Moroccan art and culture! Loved it! The staff was the sweetest, and going the extra mile to make us comfortable. Hamza made sure we had a map and guided us to make our way around. It was a delight to walk around and explore the medina. Breakfast was a different set menu everyday. The food was delicious! Definitely coming back for exquisite, quiet and peaceful stay in the medina!
Cons: Although I'd like to see more vegetarian options on the menu, the chef was kind enough to prepare a hearty warm vegetarian soup on request.

This place makes you feel like you are in the fairytale. Whole place is absolutely stunning. Don't take normally many pictures but here every Place you look at feels like needed a capture. A lot to explore. Location is perfect, just slightly off from all the business of Medina markets. Breakfast was great for pastry lovers. We stayed only 1 day, surely next day they serve eggs and vegetables too. Yesine who was working there, have made our experience even better. All the knowledge he had shared and tips he has given made us even more excited about the trip. Hospitality and friendliness of this place goes above and beyond. Our flight was at 7pm and they have extended our stay in the room until 1pm. Thank you once again. But guess what, we didn't stay in the room as whole place is wholesome and we have enjoyed complimentary tea in the garden instead until we depart. Strongly recommend it!!!

Tutto lo staff è molto disponibile. Stanza al primo piano ampia, pultita e luminosa. Le terrazze sono dotate di sdraio in cui è possibile godere di momenti di relax.
Cons: Unico neo è la posizione, distante dal centro e in una zona poco raccomandabile, dove non riesci a raggiungere con serenità il parcheggio dove stazionano i taxi. Non appena si esce dal riad i local per racimolare quel che spicciolo cercano di indicarti la strada in modo abbastanza invadente.

Cons: La localización está un poco alejada de la plaza Jemaa el-Fna una media hora andando por la medina o 7 min. en taxi. Lo bueno es que hay cerca una puerta para salir de la medina que está amurallada y poder coger un taxi para a cercarse al centro. Estás más tranquilo tras la locura del centro. Reservamos habitación triple y aunque la cama de matrimonio era inmensa, la tercera cama era un sofa NO CAMA, que era muy dura para dormir, mi hija de 23 años durmió con nosotros, en la super cama.

The friendliest hotel i have ever stayed in . It was a beautiful hotel . Very clean . The staff were amazing , sorting taxis for us last minute when we had forgotten to do so . Keeping in touch with us via Wats app and making sure that we had been picked up ,arrived at our destination and that we had been collected again to be brought back to the hotel . I cant praise the staff enough .
Cons: Pillows were a bit hard - had we asked for different ones i am sure they would have been supplied . Our room was directly facing onto a beautiful courtyard which had a table and chairs ,which had we wished to dine or drink late would have been lovely . But we went to bed quite early and there were other guests sitting chatting at the table which kept us awake but they were happy to move when we requested .

Все было отлично. Достаточно удобное расположение - в конце медины, но это плюс, потому что не придется долго идти от такси с чемоданом. Внутри очень красиво. Заказывали тажин с бараниной на ужин - было дороговато по меркам Марокко и даже конкретно Марракеша, но потрясающе вкусно, вкуснее за 10 дней ничего не ели.
Cons: Немного пахло сыростью в ванной комнате. Также имейте в виду, что в туалет нет дверки - только штора. Так часто бывает в риадах, и для кого-то это может быть проблемой.

The property is just outside of the centre of the Medina, it's in a quieter location which is a nice break from the bustle of the centre. The inside of the palace is beautiful, and very clean. There are always staff around who are exceptionally friendly and willing to provide information about where to go and what to see. There is also a pool which is lovely on hot days, and lots of space on the terraces. Overall, this is a beautiful property and would stay here again.

Etablissement soigneusement décoré et très calme. Différents espaces extérieurs sont disponibles dont plusieurs terrasses. Le personnel est serviable et attentionné. La chambre était conforme mais la propreté aurait pu être mieux. Douche hors d'âge même si jolie.
Cons: Attention au quartier ! Établissement situé dans un quartier impossible d'accès en voiture. N'essayez même pas si vous êtes en voiture. Nous avons du laisser notre véhicule à plus de 300 m, des passants nous ont suivi jusqu'à la porte de l'hôtel puis nous on barré la porte pour avoir de l'argent. L'arrivée à donc été particulièrement chaotique, tout comme le départ. Le personnel de l'hôtel nous avait mené jusqu'à un parking payant à proximité, dont le gardien nous a agressé lorsque nous sommes partis pour l'aeroport au petit matin. Alors que nous avions payé la veille, pour la nuit, celui ci nous a encore réclamé de l'argent et a essayé de casser la vitre du véhicule a coups de poings car nous avons dit non. Cela reflète malheuresement l'ambiance générale de Marrakech. Nous ne retournerons pas là-bas, l'expérience étant plus que mitigée. Le quartier n'est pas très sûr. Dommage pour ce bel établissement.

The bathroom was very moldy, and the bedshets felt dusty. We were not so impressed with the breakfast quite basic options. The tangine lemon chicken dinner was very oily, little disappointing.

Quando chegámos atribuíram-nos um quarto que não correspondia à reserva, às fotos e à expectativa. Pedimos para mudar e foram muito acessíveis. Ficámos num quarto espaçoso e confortável. O Riade é antigo e as comodidades também. É charmoso por isso mesmo mas acho que podiam melhorar algumas coisas, como o duche nos quartos. Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e a pessoa que nos recebeu foi super prestável e deu-nos óptimas recomendações sobre o que visitar. O pequeno almoço é bom e essencialmente de comida típica. Fica a cerca de 25 / 30 minutos da praça principal mas estávamos a contar com isso, por isso tudo bem. No geral a estadia foi boa. No entanto, o Riade não correspondeu a 100% às nossas expectativas.

Nous avons eu un enfant malade ils ont réussi à trouver un médecin un dimanche à 20h et les médicaments dans la foulée qu ils sont allés chercher dans 6 pharmacies différentes . Cons: Be careful of the locals when you leave the Riad - they will tell you that the route you want to take to the Medina is off limits due to prayers and that they should follow you another way. They took us in the wrong direction and then asked us for money. I then asked the staff in the Riad about it and they said that this was common practice for the locals. Also, I found the breakfast to be quite stodgy (lots of breads and dry cake) but they also gave lovely fruit and tea. We also asked for omlettes and they were lovely

Cons: Was man wissen muss, dass Hotel ist nicht unmittelbar erreichbar denn es liegt inmitten der Medina , und diese ist ein Labyrinth. Wenn man den Weg (10min Fußweg) einmal weiß ist es kein großes Problem mehr .

Cons: Les photos du site internet sont relativement trompeuses. La chambre est vraiment exiguë et la salle de bain dans un état limite insalubre au niveau de la douche. Enfin sur le site il est précisé que l’hôtel disposait d’un parking,ce qui est faux car implanté dans la Médina!!!!!

Tutto lo staff e' stato molto gentile, disponibile ed efficiente nella soluzioni di problemi, nel nostro caso la richiesta di cambiare la stanza che era inadeguata e non corrispondente a quanto prenotato in Booking.com Il Riad e' molto bello e curato, soprattutto il piano superiore con le sue terrazze, balconcini e piante e' molto scenografico. La posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dall'uscita nord della medina e' comoda se si vuole prendere un taxi. Abbiamo cenato la prima sera all'interno del Riad e il rapporto qualita' prezzo e' molto buono, tutto cucinato fresco al momento. Anche la colazione e' ottima e curata.
Cons: La stanza no. 5 inizialmente assegnatoci non puo' essere considerata al pari delle altre - junior suite - e' di fatto molto piu' piccola ed ha un'unica finestrina in alto che da' sulla strada, il che la rende molto rumorosa anche di notte, inoltre il bagno e' piccolo e diviso dalla camera con una tenda al posto di una porta, consiglierei di risolvere subito questo problema che, secondo me, la rende inutilizzabile o perlomeno di venderla ad un prezzo inferiore mettendo in chiaro le criticita'.

Cons: El servicio del personal es un poco impersonal, salíamos temprano, y nadie recibió nuestro check out, no tuvimos desayuno esa mañana, y nos quedaron debiendo dinero.

The Palais was gorgeous inside and our suite was kept clean everyday. Our room had a terrace to relax after long days of walking and the staff were very nice throughout our stay.
Cons: Unfortunately there were some things that did need improvement. - the showers are a bit outdated - we were told a taxi would pick us up at 5:30PM but they showed up more than an hour late. We weren’t told how much the taxi would cost and a €25 was added to our checkout bill - the walk back can be a bit dodgy at night

Wir wurden am Parkplatz abgeholt und im Riad sehr freundlich mit frischem Minztee empfangen. Ferner hätten wir über das Riad auch Touren oder Kochkurs etc. buchen können
Cons: Das Riad ist ganz am Rand der Medina und man braucht zum großem Platz 15-20min.

Ein sehr schönes Riad mit außerordentlich bemühten Inhabern. Das Frühstück war sensationell, das Zimmer gross mit tollem Bad. Das Riad liegt nur einen kurzen Fussmarsch von der Medersa ben Youssef.

Cons: La chambre etait salle, le sol salle, les appuies de fenêtres noir, les fenêtres salle. Le coussin avec des bulles de mousse a l interieur, j ai demandé de changer sans retour. Le petit dejeuner très pauvre, servi dans la vaisselle salle avec trace de doigts au chocolat (j espère) sur les verres a thé. Et la nuit des bruits impressionants du mosquée.

Cons: Está muy lejos de la plaza central. La gente no sonríe nunca ni parecen muy interesados en ayudar o en cómo nos encontramos. Nos dejamos una sudadera y llamamos al día siguiente y nos dijeron que no había nada en la habitación lo que es mentira. La ducha medio rota, no funciona bien. El baño con lo básico ( papel y toallas y nada más ). Fue el Riad más caro al que hemos ido y el peor de todos con diferencia . Es muy caro para lo que es. Comedor interior frío y mesas incómodas para desayunar . Les pedimos desayuno a una hora antes de la hora normal para ir de excursión y se olvidaron (decían que no lo habíamos dicho a la persona correcta así que un poco desorganizados), aunque al final lo prepararon. La “piscina” es como una fuente de tamaño , de hecho yo pensaba era decorativa aunque el tiempo tampoco acompañó el usarla. En booking vi que había un buen descuento respecto al precio normal y por eso lo reservamos pero ahora entiendo que sería un poco marketing porque aunque aún con el descuento, fue muy caro. Ha sido el único Riad del viaje que te cobraban por el agua , en los otros te invitaban a consumiciones tipo agua , refresco, te. Y finalmente me hicieron pagar en efectivo a pesar de que en booking ponía que se podía pagar con tarjeta, lo que me ocasionó trastornos de tener efectivo además de las comisiones de banco que tuve que pagar . Muy muy mal todo la verdad

Beautiful interior and rooms for sleeping and common areas/lounge chairs. Super quiet at night to rest. Enjoyed the breakfast- would appreciate fruit in some form each day.
Cons: You must contact Palais Tinmel to have a taxi bring you to the correct and closest drop off location and then they will meet you & walk with you through the narrow walkways to the Palais Tinmel. We got a taxi who dropped us off furthest from the property and then we were harangued by a "tout" to walk us in to the accommodation which is illegal and he demanded $$.

Das Palais Tinmel ist ein wirklich schönes Stadtpalais! Unsere Suite war romantisch, die Dachterrasse am Abend angenehm und das Frühstück im Haus gut! Das Haus ist toll gebaut, viele Ebenen und Terrassen, liegt nördlich der Souks, aber innerhalb der Medina - Parken ist 5 Minuten entfernt vor den Toren möglich... Es ist immer wieder eindrucksvoll, vom Trubel der Strasse durch ein schlichtes Tor zu gehen und eine ganz andere Welt tut sich auf! Das Team im Haus war freundlich und hat uns auch abends noch einen Tee serviert - danke dafür!
Cons: wer zum Gauklerplatz will, muss gut 30 Minuten zu Fuß einplanen...

Très bel établissement, la chambre était confortable, les terrasses très agréables. La literie est très bien. Merci au personnel, absolument adorable, serviable, disponible, l'accueil est exceptionnel.
Cons: La douche n'est pas très agréable, le débit est limite, l'eau part dans tous les sens (cheveux mouillés à, chaque fois). Le Palais est un peu loin de la place, il faut compter 30 minutes de marche, notamment le soir lorsque certaines portes sont fermées dans la Médina.

Really nice place to stay, everyone working at the Riad is so friendly and kind. Took the time to explain aspects of morrocan life and food. Had dinner at the Riad one night which was the best food we had in Marrakech (much better then the expensive restaurants in the centre of Medina). Location is very quiet but felt safe. About 20-30 minute walk to the centre of old Medina and the way back to the Riad is well lit with lots of people about even late at night so felt safe to walk back. If you want a taxi there is a car park/main road about five minutes walk away. This Riad is also close tp the new town if you want to see the more modern side of Marrakech.

Super friendly staff, gave us a good introduction of Marrakech and a map. Location is good, especially if you like it to be a bit more quiet. It’s in a quiet neighborhood a small walk from the busy part of the Medina. The courtyard is the most beautiful one we have seen here, and the roof terrace is a great place to get some peace and quiet after visiting the busy streets. Breakfast was ok, but not super special.

The palais was not far from the parking place where the taxi could reach. Someone from the palace waited for us to accompany us to the accommodation. The palace itself is a safe, very peaceful and beautifully furnished, with stylish shared areas, wide spaces with a garden comparing to a riad. Breakfast was good and the service as well. The staff attentiveness was at the highest level and very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. Efficient Wi-Fi. The palais is not far from Jardin Majorelle, but, for instance, to reach the souks in Medina you have to take a taxi. Overall, our experience here was delightful.
Cons: You have to use a taxi to reach the city center, the vibrant medina.
