Cons: We chose the hotel beacuse it advertises free parking lots. No such thing, had to park on the street and paid to the locals. Admin asked 4€ for the city tax, that I paid with bigger banknote. Never got the exhange money back from her. She looked me in the eyes many times as I was passing her coming and going to/from hotel, nothing. When checking out she was simply missing. Breakfast was lacking of options and was very plain. Choose something else for Your stay.

Location was perfect! Outside the old city (which is good for parking), and still very close to it (1 minute walk). Staff was kind and helpful. Staff managed to keep a parking spot for our car right outside the hotel. Breakfast was rich, tasty and varied.

Cons: No lift in the property (staff helped us carry the suitcases). In our room, the dresser drawers were broken. There was no safe in the room.

The location in the Batha area of the Medina is excellent, close to the main attractions and easy to find.

Cons: The service was disappointing; the man at the reception was not welcoming, and during breakfast, he served other guests first, even though I had arrived before them. The room was also below expectations for the price, not really a good value for money.

Online pictures of the rooms and amenities are deceiving! The linens were very old and ragged, the pillows dirty and flat, the bed hard as rock, no lamps. Breakfast was inedible and the restaurant menu was not appetizing; coffee had to be brought from another shop. There were no toiletries, only a small piece of soap. The bathroom had a very loud fan, had no robes, and no hand towels; bath towels were ragged. The shower didn't drain well and was not clean, there were no shower curtains or bath mats, and definitely no robes. The "terrace" was also very outdated. Positive things: the staff was kind and courteous, the room had a television and wifi access.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Blue Sky in Fes! The hotel exceeded my expectations with its clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and great location close to the city’s main attractions. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the rooftop view, which was absolutely stunning. Everything was well-organized and made my trip even more enjoyable. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone visiting Fes!

A good location near the blue gate entrance to the medina. Quite a spacious room and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Air conditioning worked well. Wi-Fi is excellent.

Cons: Not as advertised. On Booking.com it says that the hotel provides free toiletries, towels and a wardrobe. None of these were in the room or available. Also only about a third of a toilet roll and no more. Also very strangely the toilet roll holder is in the shower! Not even some hand soap provided, which I would consider absolutely basic. Toilet seat does not fit properly and the bed is the hardest I have ever come across.

Cons: They call it a Hotel but it’s a Riad. The breakfast was horrendous and not inclusive at all. Most of their stuff had nuts and flies. I have never left a breakfast that quick in 27 countries that I’ve been too. They never cleaned my room. Room smelt of drain. No lighting in the room. Good location, nice rooftop terrace to escape the busy streets, very very friendly staff, amazing price if you consider the included good breakfast, big bathroom

Cons: Furniture was rather old and partly broken, my room was rather dark as the only window was facing the entrance hall (but had blinds to close). My room was at the ground level which made it very noisy in the night due to the open front doors and the volume of the TV at the reception.

The room was terribly small, with wires hanging from the tv, the double bed was literally two single beds put together, and the pillows were harder than a brick. also the lead of the toilet was not screwed, what made you slide and almost fall while you’re in the toilet. The lady from the front desk promises us to have the breakfast ready a bit earlier than usual as we had to leave very early, and of course that didn’t happen, making us miss the breakfast. all this without having anybody around to let them know. Never ever ever again coming to this terrible place.

I would like to say a big "thank you" to the staff of this hotel. They were very helpful during my stay over there. The girl from the reception gave me some advice on what to visit and how to talk with local people. On the next day of my staying, the man from the restaurant surprised me by remembering what drink I prefer for breakfast. Be free to ask the staff whatever you need, they'll be happy to help.

The lady at the counter (Rita) was really nice, helpful and pragmatic. We had to go to the airport early and couldn't enjoy the breakfast. But she offered to prepare us a lunch pack the night before so we could take it with us. When we asked someone from reception about it, he said that it was not possible to have breakfast other than the included buffet. We got it from her anyway. But that's exactly what makes the difference and without her our rating wouldn't be as good. We felt welcome. The location is great and it's not too noisy. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. We can recommend it.

This is a gem, on the border of the old town, modern hotel (not Riad) with all facilities. Note this is not a busy shopping area like typical Riads. Food options are plenty, pickup for tours just around the corner from Batha roundabout. Medina and all attractions short 5-10 min walk. It is located at the entrance to the medina, very easy to access and you can walk there, it turns out that it is possible to do most of the walks on foot or if you want to see more like the ceramics, carpets or leather dyes you will need to take a taxi "dunk".

Cons: During the tour with the guide I was taken to several incredible places, but the impression is that I have to buy something at each stop and people outside the hotel do not speak English, I recommend that you know a basic of French.

This was our second stay in Fez, and this is the best location you can get. Parking is on site, old city is 5 minutes away and high-end restaurants and bars are walking distance.

Cons: No blow dryer

Location, hospitality and cleanliness It is located walking distance away from the medina and it provides free street parking(in front of the hotel) for our rental car. Rita is very helpful and she provided us with important information for our trip. The room is very clean and quiet. It is a great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Nothing.

Very friendly welcome. The receptionist was lovely, who, despite the rain, showed us the way to the nearby garage where we could park our motorbikes after having unloaded them. The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel offers easy access to the medina.

Cons: Breakfast was only ok. We had to ask for coffee and it wasn't very good

Great staff, we had their support anytime. The hotel is designed in morroco style , rooms are clean and is quite. The hotel is close to medina and at aprox 25 minutes walk to the shopping city Borj Fes. The hotel can support you with special requirements like airport transfer and a turistic guide for medina where is really needed. The breakfast is fully enough to start the day!!!

While Traveling with my sons in morocco we had the pleasure of staying at the blue sky hotel. The location was great at the blue gate. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were three Single beds available for me and my two sons. A hot shower with voluminous water was luxurious. Especially kind to us was Ismail the door keeper and jack of all trades. He escorted me from a less than desirable parking lot to one directly in front of the hotel. Also the front desk manager Reeta Was very kind and helpful. She made room in the hotels reservations for us to stay another day since we did not have a firm itinerary. She also help me find the latest in morocco Music selections on I tunes. Great stay in fez. Shukran!

Booked in for 4 nights. Stayed one. One of the most dread full places I’ve stayed in. Basic room no place to hang clothes. Asked for a quiet room - unbelievably noisy. The man at reception etc is exceedingly rude. Ignored us when we asked for butter at breakfast and told us to shut up when we complained. Staff sleeps in the foyer. Not a good advertisement for Fes

We stayed one night at Blue Sky and were given a warm welcome by the friendly staff. The hotel is located right at the edge of the Medina and offers a few free parking spaces. The room was mostly clean, however the bathroom was a little stained. The shower lacked a courtain or a glass wall separating it from the rest of the room, so every shower turned the bathroom into a swimming pool. Especially since this was the most expensive accomodations we stayed in in Morocco, you would expect a higher comfort level. Next time we'll prefer one of the many sweet Ryads Fes has to offer.

We had a good stay here mainly due to location as its few minutes walk to the souk and also the staff are welcoming especially Gheeta. The terrace is a good place to relax with nice views. Few simple improvements can make the hotel much more comfortable for example; Rooms being cleaned during stay rather than just when guests checkout, shower curtains put up so the whole washroom doesn't get drenched when having a shower, Tea/coffee should be offered at breakfast rather than having to request it and taking a long time to arrive. Apart from that the hotel is great.

Stayed for 7 nights at hotel Blue Sky and had a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and modern with plenty of towels available. The staff were so nice and helpful. Every request was upheld and it was pleasant to return after a day of sight-seeing to see the smiling staff asking how our day went. Breakfast was amazing but I still did miss my English tea as it was not available. The location was very good and it was easy to access taxis from around the corner from the hotel. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel Blue Sky is located in the Medina and is walking distance to all the famous sights and sites of Fes. Our check-in was quick and seamless, and Reeta provided us with a map and marked all the places we should be visiting. Room 17, ensconced between Room 12 and Room 14 (hotels balk at numbering a room 13!!!), was our base for 3 days. A comfortable bed and a dressing table but no cupboard comprised the furniture. There was just enough room for us to make our way around the room. But it sufficed as we were out sightseeing most of the day. The bathroom was quite small - only one person at a time could be in the bathroom. Breakfast was spartan with one egg, some bread, orange juice, and coffee or Moroccan tea (no English breakfast tea available!). Good, strong WiFi connection - if Maslow were still alive, he would have put WiFi before food, shelter and clothing as man's basic need!!!

On entering our room, discovered it had no bath towels. Asked the manager for two towels and was told to use the two bathrobes hanging in the room. I said I didn't want to use a bathrobe as a towel (in fact, the robe had been washed/dried without softener, so was very rough to the touch). I insisted on having two towels and went to supper. On return to the room, no towels and again took up the case with the manager who said there were no more towels in the hotel. After making a point that this would not help in providing a good review of the hotel, he eventually showed up with two towels that he must have scrounged from some other guest's room, plus the requested pillow which was a decorative pillow rather than a sleeping pillow. By the way, the towels were as rough as the bathrobes!

We stayed here after a visit to the Medina in Fes. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. No A/C or fan in our room so we opened the windows which was fine but being on the street there was street noise both at night and in the morning as children went to school. The shower floor is almost continguous with the bathroom floor and so flooding was a little bit of an issue - at least all is tile. They have some resting/gathering areas on the main floor. There was no parking lot but we were allowed to park the car just outside the hotel on the street. Breakfast started rather late (8:30 a.m.) and we needed to leave at that time. So they brought us a few things to eat which was nice but most hotels will have an earlier breakfast time. It is walking distance to one of the Medina's entrances.

We only had the pleasure of eating at this hotel a couple of times during our stay, but most nights we had a nightcap drink here. And everything we had here was up to our expectations and more. Really wish we had of stayed here as the rooms looked as nice as the food and service we had experienced. So do yourself a favour and place yourself in the open air of the terrace and sit back and enjoy everything about this wonderful place. Thank you to all the staff and owner of the restaurant and the hotel manager for. making us feel more than welcome.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walking from Bab Bujloud (the Blue Gate), a great way to enter the Medina in Fes. When (not if, but when) you get lost inside the Medina, you can always look for signs for Bab Bujloud and once you get there, find your way comfortably back to the hotel. The rooms are small and cozy. No closet space to hang things, just drawers and a coat rack. Our room had a window facing the street, which made it a little noisy at times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Good value for our money.

This hotel is a real gem. It has great location close to the Medina we stayed in room 22 and our friends in no. 25. We had a comfortable bed and relatively spacious room. Their room was smaller and had an uncomfortable bed they said. Both rooms were very clean spotless. We did however find it a bit strange when we were told there's no big body towels only these half size and bath robes. The shower was small in both rooms So nothing to write home about here But I'll tell you why despite a these mentioned facts I will come back here and it's the hotel staff. So well mannered nice and hospitable! Reem in the reception and Othman and Ismuel thank you all for being so kind and caring

We stayed for days at the Blue Sky Hotel. A beautiful clean and recently refurbished hotel that combines being in the old Medina with easy road access. Taxis can stop right outside. Staff were excellent and responsive, speaking good English and the rooms comfortable.
