Absolutely loved my stay at Room Mate Collection Giulia! From the moment I arrived, the service was great and the staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location honestly couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of Milan, just steps away from the Duomo, Galleria, shopping, restaurants, and pretty much everything you want to experience in the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and has a really nice atmosphere. After spending the day exploring Milan, it was a great place to come back to. Great hotel, great service, and an unbeatable location. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Milan. Highly recommend!

Five stars. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the Duomo, and the rooms were spotless every day. But what really makes Room Mate Giulia special is the staff. Absolutely fantastic: warm, helpful, genuinely kind, and somehow part of the holiday itself. By the end of our stay, it felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed by friends. Milan has plenty of great hotels. Room Mate Giulia has something harder to find: people who make you want to come back.

L'emplacement était vraiment super, on est à 2 min de la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II et 5 min du Duomo. La possibilité de choisir la chambre (et de la visiter) avant la confirmation était très appréciable. L'upgrade de la chambre était possible sur place, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir une chambre plus spacieuse, éclairée et vue sur rue. Le petit déjeûner était bon (surtout le côté sucré et les fruits de saison). Le personnel est très gentil, il répond toujours à nos besoins dès que nécessaire: besoin d'un badge en plus, demande d'un tapis antidérapant pour salle de bains pour personne âgée, assistance bagage (et parapluie) lors de notre départ sous la pluie. Merci encore à eux d'avoir rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable à Milan!
Cons: Seul petit détail indépendant de l'hôtel: les travaux sur la rue Silvio Pellico lors de notre séjour qui n'ont pas permis au taxi d'accéder directement à l'hôtel. Toutefois, l'hôtel a tout mis en place (service bagage et information par email) pour pallier à ce petit souci.

ドゥオーモなどのミラノ中心部のすぐ近くでとても便利でした。朝食の種類が多くとても美味しかったです。朝食時間が7時から12時までと長いため、ドゥオーモを見てからのんびりブランチできたので、大満足でした。スタッフがみんな笑顔でとても親切でした。お水を2本毎日もらえました。部屋をアップグレードしてもらえたので、広くて快適でした。お茶類やネスプレッソもあり、とても良かったです。ミラノに行ったら是非また泊まりたいです。

alles wat je van een hotel wil verwachten en meer. bij binnenkomt wordt je al vriendelijk begroet door medewerkers die graag helpen met je bagage. bij de front desk wachten Andre en Alessandro je met alle plezier op, waarbij Andre alles deed om onze vakantie tot een memorabele vakantie te brengen. de kamer (familiekamer) was groot en schoon. ontbijt was lekker waarbij super aardig personeel erg hard hun best deed om alles netjes bij te vullen. hotel ligt 1 minuut van de Duomo, midden in centrum dus je kan alle kanten op. Parkeren is echter 5 minuten van het hotel maar met dit hotel neem ik dat graag voor lief. Voor ons echt een memorabele ervaring geweest en komen hier graag terug als we weer een hotel in milaan willen.

The hotel is in an excellent location - a few steps away from the Duomo and the Metro - 10 minutes away from the Centrale Station. The staff was very kind; they left us a chocolate. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of options. Our room was comfortable with a very large bed and a real bed for our son (not a sofa bed).
Cons: I can't recall anything that I disliked - the only thing I can say is that the street was closed and it was really hard to get the Uber when we were leaving - definitely not the hotel's fault - but the hotel staff helped us to walk 50m with the luggage.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. After travelling for nearly 30 hours to reach the hotel, I was looking forward to nothing more than a smooth check-in and a chance to rest. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. The reception staff were consistently discourteous and unwelcoming. Rather than making exhausted guests feel accommodated, their attitude came across as dismissive and indifferent, setting an unfortunate tone from the moment we arrived. The most frustrating aspect of our stay was the complete lack of communication regarding the fire drills. During our stay, two fire alarms sounded as part of scheduled fire drills. We were given no prior warning whatsoever before the first drill, which was understandably alarming. Even more astonishingly, after the first drill concluded, no one thought it necessary to inform guests that a second drill would follow. Being abruptly awakened twice by emergency alarms after such extensive travel was not only exhausting but entirely avoidable with even the most basic level of communication. Another issue was the lack of transparency surrounding the charges placed on my card. The amount that would be authorised or held was never clearly explained during check-in. Financial matters should always be communicated accurately and professionally, and this unnecessary ambiguity created confusion that could easily have been prevented. It is disappointing because these are not issues of luxury or personal preference, they are fundamental aspects of hospitality. Communication and transparency are the bare minimum guests should expect from any hotel. The only redeeming aspect of our stay was the exceptional housekeeping and kitchen staff. They were consistently polite, and genuinely welcoming, demonstrating the level of professionalism that was unfortunately absent at reception.

Beautiful contemporary and stylish hotel with very cool design and extremely comfortable rooms. The bed was so plush that it felt like sleeping on a cloud after long days exploring. The location is amazing right next to Galleria Vittorio and just a few steps from Piazza Del Duomo. Walking out to that view every day was wonderful. And not to mention how central it is to be there. And last but not least, Andrea and Rachelle at the front desk were so warm and friendly, was lovely to be welcomed by them after a long flight from Australia. They were kind and helpful. And Andrea the concierge was also lovely and set me up with a reservation at a fab restaurant in the La Brera area. Special mention to Sheik the bellhop was also really helpful and lovely. An all around wonderful place that made my trip very special.

We were glad to have booked this hotel for our stay in Milan. Staff throughout the hotel were pleasant, attentive and helpful. The check-in/out process was quick and hassle-free. We appreciate the communications from the hotel prior to arrival. Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained. It included all the usual amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Towels and beddings were clean and fresh. Wifi connection was strong and stable. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. It is right by Plaza del Duomo. This is a great place to stay and enjoy Milan.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben mir die ruhige Atmosphäre sowie das leckere Frühstück. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr gut, sodass viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem erreichbar sind. Insgesamt hat alles meinen Erwartungen entsprochen, und ich kann dieses Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

L'hôtel est situé au pied du Duomo, hyper central donc c'est ce qui a d'abord guidé notre choix. Nous avons logé à 3 dans une chambre (1 adulte et 2 jeunes). Alors qu'un concert avait lieu sur la place, l'isolation sonore était parfaite : une fois les fenêtres fermées, plus aucun bruit. La décoration est soignée et moderne, l'hôtel parfaitement propre, le petit-déjeuner parfait (très diversifié) et le service tout autant (tout le monde est aux petits soins). Cet hôtel a été au-dessus de nos attentes.

The staff was exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful. I was tickled that the busboy "uniform" was a white shirt, sometimes a tie, and jeans. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, one of the best in the world. The many, many choices catered to every morning expectation, and everything was fresh and appealing. The high ceiling in the room was very nice. Having two sinks in the bathroom was great for my wife and I. The location, just steps from the Duomo, was a wonderful additional surprise. In our extra time, we visited it. The restaurant across the street, Pino, was convenient and wonderful for dinner.
Cons: There were so many lights in the room and so many switches, it was a bit difficult to figure out how to turn on (or off!) some particular lights. A freezer section in the refrigerator would have been nice. I would have chosen smaller sink "bowls" to leave more room on the bathroom counter for toiletries.

It was great to return to this hotel and find that all the positive impressions still holds true and even improved. The location is unbeatable, the room are very spacious, and the entire staff is courteous, friendly and goes above and beyond to help. We would specially like to mention Andres, the concierge who gave us great recommendations and worked hard to get the reservations, Rachele at the front desk, that was efficient, welcoming and always with a smile. I cannot praise the team at Room Mate Giulia enough. On June 3rd, when we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM to check in, only to realize with absolute panic that we had left our three passports, and significant amount of cash in the room safe of our previous hotel (Starhotels Du Parc in Parma). While I was at the reception desk calling the previous hotel to confirm our belongings were there, the Concierge Manager at Room Mate Giulia, Mr. Andre, stepped in. Seeing our distress, he immediately took charge and offered an incredible solution to help us retrieve everything safely from Parma right to Milan. Thanks to his swift action and professionalism, all of our irreplaceable possessions were safely back in our hands by 8:00 PM that very same day. Every single staff member at Room Mate Giulia is incredibly friendly, always wearing a warm smile, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile to solve problems that aren't even their responsibility. We are profoundly grateful for their extraordinary help, especially Mr. Andre. They turned a potential travel nightmare into an unforgettable display of hospitality. We cannot thank you enough!

Highly recommend. Central location, friendly and attentive staff, clean and quiet rooms. This was our first time visiting Milan and it was the perfect home base for sightseeing. Just steps away from the Duomo, Galleria, and restaurants. About 15 min walk to Sforza Castle or Brera District. Subway and trolley stops nearby to explore further afield. The room was spotless and quiet (facing the interior courtyard). As others have shared, the staff here couldn't be nicer. Special thanks to Benedetta at reception and the ladies in the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet available in the mornings, which can be charged to your room. We originally planned to go out for breakfast, but we ended up having breakfast at the hotel several times during our stay due to the great selection and friendly staff. Nice way to start our day before heading out into the city. Note that the street in front of the hotel is currently under construction, which the hotel informed us about ahead of time. For taxis, we found it easiest to use the taxi rank at Piazza del Duomo during this road closure, which is less than 2 minutes walk.

This hotel ticks all the boxes. We thank you for our wedding anniversary wonderful stay during our visit to Milan and La Scala. Staff could not have been nicer and SO helpful. Huge thank you to Marco for helping us with the reservation at late notice and Andrea for being so wonderful regarding all our requests. I cannot recommend this hotel - it is so personal and at the heart of the action. BUT the staff are fantastic (as well as easy on the eye!)

Staff, location and small scale feeling. Sound proof windows, the hotel is literally a stone throw away from Plaza del Duomo and one night the Inter fans celebration their winning the championship. We could only hear the loudest fireworks, which says something about the sound proof windows. The breakfast offered in the hotel.
Cons: A bit expensive, but then again this is Milan and everything seems expensive at first, then you get used to it.

Отличное расположение - центр - прямо у Дуомо, но в переулке и поэтому спать достаточно тихо и комфортно, а выходишь в самом центре. Метро рядом, рестораны, бутики, магазины - все рядом. Достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Дизайн сногсшибательный - очень стильно - даже изучили, кто дизайнер и ее историю. Просторный номер, удобные кровати, огромный санузел. Спортзал не очень - словно в коридоре занимаешься и темновато, но в плане оборудования все ок. Для Италии шикарный завтрак - все есть.
Cons: Освещение в спортзале - темновато и сквозняк сильный и ощущение, что занимаешься в коридоре. Добавить на завтрак свежие огурцы.

I stayed here for the second time and can confirm it’s a very good option in Milan. The location right next to Piazza del Duomo and the main attractions, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the junior suite on the upper floor offers a comfortable room size compared to other hotels in this area. Overall, a solid choice with a good balance between cost and quality

Cons: The view from the room was an inside courtyard with AC equipment and trash cans. There was construction in front of the hotel, which made it more difficult to get there - that’s a city issue.

Andre, Ale and Ryan made our stay at Room Mate Giulia an amazing one! They really went out of their way to help us with tips and bookings for bars, restaurants, and sites. We stayed for 3 days over Easter and the room was gorgeous and spacious and the location close to all the beautiful sites is great. Breakfast was cosy. The team really made our stay feel like we were living at our best mates! The hotel has a relaxed yet stylish and upscale fell to it and the staff seems to really enjoy working there and looking after their guests. I can highly recommend the hotel!

We went to Milan for a one week getaway. The Room-Mate Guia was perfect in every way. The location is literally minutes away from all key sites. Our strongest impression from the stay was the staff that worked there. Each and everyone would go out of their way to help in any way they could. The atmosphere was cordial, professional and welcoming. The rooms are modern look great with tall ceilings. they are clean, with a simple elegance that is refreshing. Alessandro, Ryan and Andrea were so helpful and welcoming from day 1 . Great value with breakfast. They have a sauna and turkish bath room that an be reserved. We will be coning back and will explore the ither room-mate hotels in valencia and across europe .

This was my first time staying at Room-mate hotel. Amazing experience. The location is perfect and walkable to all key sites. It is located on a side street making it pleasant.. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and quite professional. Downstairs reception/concierge team including Ryan, Alessandro and several others were cordial and went out of their way to help with anything that we needed. They really do interact professionally and genuinely enjoy their work. BTW, the rooms are quiet, impeccable, super clean, well appointed and maintained. This is great value . I will be coming back here for some business trips in the near future and will be staying here.
