The central location is great for exploring Milan, the room and hotel were clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff at the reception and breakfast area were polite and helpful, we really appreciated their hospitality and are looking forward to returning to this property.

The hotel is in an excellent location - a few steps away from the Duomo and the Metro - 10 minutes away from the Centrale Station. The staff was very kind; they left us a chocolate. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of options. Our room was comfortable with a very large bed and a real bed for our son (not a sofa bed).

Cons: I can't recall anything that I disliked - the only thing I can say is that the street was closed and it was really hard to get the Uber when we were leaving - definitely not the hotel's fault - but the hotel staff helped us to walk 50m with the luggage.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. After travelling for nearly 30 hours to reach the hotel, I was looking forward to nothing more than a smooth check-in and a chance to rest. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. The reception staff were consistently discourteous and unwelcoming. Rather than making exhausted guests feel accommodated, their attitude came across as dismissive and indifferent, setting an unfortunate tone from the moment we arrived. The most frustrating aspect of our stay was the complete lack of communication regarding the fire drills. During our stay, two fire alarms sounded as part of scheduled fire drills. We were given no prior warning whatsoever before the first drill, which was understandably alarming. Even more astonishingly, after the first drill concluded, no one thought it necessary to inform guests that a second drill would follow. Being abruptly awakened twice by emergency alarms after such extensive travel was not only exhausting but entirely avoidable with even the most basic level of communication. Another issue was the lack of transparency surrounding the charges placed on my card. The amount that would be authorised or held was never clearly explained during check-in. Financial matters should always be communicated accurately and professionally, and this unnecessary ambiguity created confusion that could easily have been prevented. It is disappointing because these are not issues of luxury or personal preference, they are fundamental aspects of hospitality. Communication and transparency are the bare minimum guests should expect from any hotel. The only redeeming aspect of our stay was the exceptional housekeeping and kitchen staff. They were consistently polite, and genuinely welcoming, demonstrating the level of professionalism that was unfortunately absent at reception.

Beautiful contemporary and stylish hotel with very cool design and extremely comfortable rooms. The bed was so plush that it felt like sleeping on a cloud after long days exploring. The location is amazing right next to Galleria Vittorio and just a few steps from Piazza Del Duomo. Walking out to that view every day was wonderful. And not to mention how central it is to be there. And last but not least, Andrea and Rachelle at the front desk were so warm and friendly, was lovely to be welcomed by them after a long flight from Australia. They were kind and helpful. And Andrea the concierge was also lovely and set me up with a reservation at a fab restaurant in the La Brera area. Special mention to Sheik the bellhop was also really helpful and lovely. An all around wonderful place that made my trip very special.

We were glad to have booked this hotel for our stay in Milan. Staff throughout the hotel were pleasant, attentive and helpful. The check-in/out process was quick and hassle-free. We appreciate the communications from the hotel prior to arrival. Our room was clean, spacious and well maintained. It included all the usual amenities. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Towels and beddings were clean and fresh. Wifi connection was strong and stable. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and attractions. It is right by Plaza del Duomo. This is a great place to stay and enjoy Milan.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben mir die ruhige Atmosphäre sowie das leckere Frühstück. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr gut, sodass viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem erreichbar sind. Insgesamt hat alles meinen Erwartungen entsprochen, und ich kann dieses Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

L'hôtel est situé au pied du Duomo, hyper central donc c'est ce qui a d'abord guidé notre choix. Nous avons logé à 3 dans une chambre (1 adulte et 2 jeunes). Alors qu'un concert avait lieu sur la place, l'isolation sonore était parfaite : une fois les fenêtres fermées, plus aucun bruit. La décoration est soignée et moderne, l'hôtel parfaitement propre, le petit-déjeuner parfait (très diversifié) et le service tout autant (tout le monde est aux petits soins). Cet hôtel a été au-dessus de nos attentes.

The staff was exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful. I was tickled that the busboy "uniform" was a white shirt, sometimes a tie, and jeans. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary, one of the best in the world. The many, many choices catered to every morning expectation, and everything was fresh and appealing. The high ceiling in the room was very nice. Having two sinks in the bathroom was great for my wife and I. The location, just steps from the Duomo, was a wonderful additional surprise. In our extra time, we visited it. The restaurant across the street, Pino, was convenient and wonderful for dinner.

Cons: There were so many lights in the room and so many switches, it was a bit difficult to figure out how to turn on (or off!) some particular lights. A freezer section in the refrigerator would have been nice. I would have chosen smaller sink "bowls" to leave more room on the bathroom counter for toiletries.

It was great to return to this hotel and find that all the positive impressions still holds true and even improved. The location is unbeatable, the room are very spacious, and the entire staff is courteous, friendly and goes above and beyond to help. We would specially like to mention Andres, the concierge who gave us great recommendations and worked hard to get the reservations, Rachele at the front desk, that was efficient, welcoming and always with a smile. I cannot praise the team at Room Mate Giulia enough. On June 3rd, when we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM to check in, only to realize with absolute panic that we had left our three passports, and significant amount of cash in the room safe of our previous hotel (Starhotels Du Parc in Parma). While I was at the reception desk calling the previous hotel to confirm our belongings were there, the Concierge Manager at Room Mate Giulia, Mr. Andre, stepped in. Highly recommend. Central location, friendly and attentive staff, clean and quiet rooms. This was our first time visiting Milan and it was the perfect home base for sightseeing. Just steps away from the Duomo, Galleria, and restaurants. About 15 min walk to Sforza Castle or Brera District. Subway and trolley stops nearby to explore further afield. The room was spotless and quiet (facing the interior courtyard). As others have shared, the staff here couldn't be nicer. Special thanks to Benedetta at reception and the ladies in the breakfast room. Breakfast buffet available in the mornings, which can be charged to your room. We originally planned to go out for breakfast, but we ended up having breakfast at the hotel several times during our stay due to the great selection and friendly staff. Nice way to start our day before heading out into the city. Note that the street in front of the hotel is currently under construction, which the hotel informed us about ahead of time. For taxis, we found it easiest to use the taxi rank at Piazza del Duomo during this road closure, which is less than 2 minutes walk.

We could only hear the loudest fireworks, which says something about the sound proof windows. The breakfast offered in the hotel.

Достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Дизайн сногсшибательный - очень стильно - даже изучили, кто дизайнер и ее историю. Просторный номер, удобные кровати, огромный санузел. Спортзал не очень - словно в коридоре занимаешься и темновато, но в плане оборудования все ок. Для Италии шикарный завтрак - все есть.

Cons: Освещение в спортзале - темновато и сквозняк сильный и ощущение, что занимаешься в коридоре. Добавить на завтрак свежие огурцы.

This was my first time staying at Room-mate hotel. Amazing experience. The location is perfect and walkable to all key sites. It is located on a side street making it pleasant.. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and quite professional. Downstairs reception/concierge team including Ryan, Alessandro and several others were cordial and went out of their way to help with anything that we needed. They really do interact professionally and genuinely enjoy their work. BTW, the rooms are quiet, impeccable, super clean, well appointed and maintained. This is great value . La ubicación es un diez, puedes ir caminando a los puntos de interés principales ( Si llueve, te dejan paraguas ) . El personal es excelente, (Andrea, Momo, no recuerdo todos los nombres ) siempre pendientes y siempre de ayuda. Tienen además una persona solo para aconsejarte los mejores planes. En recepción también hacen reservas por ejemplo para visitar la catedral . La habitación es bonita y cómoda. Si necesitas más perchas, te las dejan sin problema, el servicio de habitaciones es rápido y eficaz . Ponen botellitas de agua cada día y bombones por la noche cuando repasan la habitación ¿ qué más se puede pedir? Me quedé nueve noches y hubiera estado más, lo recomiendo mucho. Si se quieren vistas a la calle hay que decirlo al hacer la reserva.

I’m not sure if I was just lucky to get a room on the sixth (top) floor, or if the receptionist was especially kind in assigning it to me😇. Either way, I really appreciated it. The hotel is in an amazing location—just a two-minute walk from Duomo Square! Super clean and nice staff. The room interior design was really lovely.

Cons: There is nothing I can say bad about this hotel!

The location is unbeatable - between the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Duomo. It is a 4 minute walk to La Scala and has a metro station within a minute. The staff is terrific - service is exceptional. Breakfast is good.

Cons: Not sufficient space for hanging out. Seating in the lobby is limited.

I had a very pleasant stay overall and really enjoyed my experience at the hotel. The service, atmosphere, and general organization were great. It was also a bit noisy at times, although I understand this can depend on the location. I really appreciated that earplugs were provided in the bathroom — a very thoughtful detail. Overall, a positive experience and I would still recommend this hotel.

Cons: There are just a couple of minor points to note. The room had a slight smell, as if someone had smoked there before. For me, a fresh and pleasant scent is very important, so it would be great if the hotel could pay more attention to this or use subtle home fragrances.

I booked a last minute reservation here after my other plans fell through, and it was lovely. The staff were helpful and accommodating, included breakfast was delicious with an huge selection, and the room was gorgeous. Wish we ended up here for more then a night - would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring the top attractions. The rooms were quite large, particularly by European standards, and offered plenty of storage. The front desk staff, such as Sordy, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We came for 1 day during the Olympics, and the staff answered all our questions and were happy to provide recommendations.
