This place is like no other - heaven on earth. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Our villa was brilliant. It was huge with our own pool (not heated and therefore we could not use it as the water was cold), a heated jacuzzi, a living room, bedroom and a large bathroom and a store room. The bed was huge and luxurious. The bathroom had a hand-held shower, a rain shower and the best was a waterfall shower! The in-house service was exemplary. We had a direct contact with our butler via whatsapp. The team were wonderful in responding to our messages within a couple of minutes. Noura, from the service team, was fantastic. She was very pleasant and helped us sort out a small issue in the bill with great professionalism. The breakfast was excellent and Kariba and Malik made us feel at home. We booked a lot of excursions, like a visit to Imlil in the Atlas mountains, desert experience, guided tour of the old city through the concierge. Syeed who helped us, in my opinion, is the best concierge I have ever seen. His choice of places, guides, restaurants to eat were excellent. He was patient and took a genuine interest in our trips. The cars from the hotel were large, clean and spacious. The drivers always had a smile on their face. Dawood, Mohammad and Imad in particular stood out. Dawood in particular gave us a lot of history facts during our drive to the desert. We even had Thomas, the general manager, stop by and have a chat with us as we were about to leave. It was a very touching gesture. To sum it all this is how a hotel should function! We loved every minute of it and will almost certainly return. Thank you Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, particularly their excellent staff, who made our stay unforgettable.

The suite was perfect. The check-in was seamless. Breakfast was excellent. We were taken for a tour around the facility and visited the spa.

Cons: The pool needs to be more private There should be curtains installed around the pool for those who need privacy. As a result, I wasn’t able to use the pool. The room service was a bit clumsy, first they forgot the dishes, then the cutlery. The service table was defective, I couldn’t expand the sides to enlarge the table. I hope they work to solve these issues.

We just returned from our short holiday in Marrakech and we are so happy to have chosen the best hotel to stay there - The Mandarin Oriental. It was our first visit to Morocco and even though there are other top hotels we surely made the right decision. We managed to go in all the other places for cafe of dinner and after we returned in our Paradise. First of all here you get a fantastic villa with private pool. The gardens are really endless with white roses and white Bougainvillea everywhere even flowers dropping in your pool. So romantic especially with the fire pit that can be lit up anytime you want. Not to mention about the space and all the amenities - absolute luxury! I have to say that the service is also impeccable. We were greeted at the airport, after we were met by our villa host Noura - so lucky to have her as she is really a very kind and caring person. The breakfast is just perfect, a very good choice of food. Staff in the restaurants are very polite. We were at the Hacienda bar and also Shirvan restaurant - great dinner! Thank you so much! When we come next time in Marrakech we will come again in Mandarin Oriental, no doubt!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mandarin Oriental Marrakech. The resort is beautiful — the villas, the gardens, the pool areas, and the overall atmosphere are all amazing. Everything is peaceful, clean, and very well taken care of. My villa was spacious and comfortable, with great privacy and a very relaxing vibe. I also enjoyed the restaurants and the spa, and the service everywhere in the property was excellent. A big thank you to Noura, my butler. She was always kind, helpful, and quick to assist with anything I needed. And thank you to Osama, who was very friendly and helped me whenever I asked. Breakfast was excellent a lot of choice including a la carte, attentive service. Suite of incredible size and design, wonderful gardens and cosy swimming pool. Chinese restaurant Ling Ling was delightful.

Cons: We did not like the second restaurant Srivan- fatty lamb was impossible to eat, food was cold we were wondering why so expensive. Also surprisingly there was no restaurant serving Moroccan food.

We had an incredible experience at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech. We were lucky to have an upgrade to our own private villa and it felt like a dream. The concierge team has been really helpful organising our guided tour in the city, the Spa is amazing and the hammam experience as well as the massages were great, and we had delicious meals at the restaurants. Overall, all the staff is incredibly nice, special thanks to Oussama, who was our butler for our 3 days there. He made our stay memorable !

We've just returned from a week at the resort. We stayed in a pool villa, which was one of the nicest rooms we've ever stayed in. Huge respect to the house keeping who did an incredible job every day. Service in the outdoor bar was impeccable and the food in Ling Ling was stunning. The spa facilities were excellent. If you are planning a trip here, make sure you ask your butler to be Armine. He looked after us so well and always arrived with a smile. He made the holiday for us. Only negative was the service and attention in the Pool Bar. Very slow and always messed up our order. Highly recommend the resort though.

From the very beginning, Oussama the butler supervisor, went above and beyond for us. He wasn’t just doing his job, he truly cared about making our stay perfect. Any time we needed something or had a question, he was there without hesitation. Ayoub the front desk manager was equally impressive. I’ve never encountered such exceptional service at the front desk. Check in and checkout were flawless, Jawad was also incredible. He remembered my preferences down to the smallest details, even my regular orders and where I liked to sit.

Staff foi super atencioso desde a chegada. O quarto era magnífico com excelentes áreas, bons materiais e um espaço exterior magnífico. A zona da piscina comum era TOP com boas camas para descansar ao sol, boa piscina e sempre com um welcome drink para refrescar e de vez em quando um “miminho” como por exemplo um gelado, um sumo natural fresco, etc. Os restaurantes do hotel são óptimos, desde o de apoio à piscina, ao asiático Ling Ling e o Shirvan. O hotel no seu todo é uma classe!

Nos restaurantes do hotel podiam ter um serviço de copos de vinho melhor que iriam elevar a qualidade dos vinhos que se bebe, tem apenas um copo de vinho universal que apesar de ter qualidade não está ao nível dos restaurantes ou da reputação do hotel. Outra nota que o jacuzzi tinha “vida própria”, não consegui que funcionasse mas curiosamente por vezes apercebemo-nos que estava a funcionar sem que fosse sequer ligado. O serviço de transporte do hotel é extremamente caro e desenquadrado do senso comum. Nunca paguei tão caro mesmo em destinos de custo elevado como Nova York ou Suíça.

This was an absolutely wonderful week for my family and I. I must first of all mention the service throughout all areas of the hotel was impeccable. So attentive, sometimes preempting our needs before we even asked. They are there but not overly so. The lifeguard is so attentive. A master with the umbrellas knowing exactly where and how many are needed to create just the right amount of shade! And he has everything, lilo’s, arm bands, rubber rings etc. August is a very hot month 40-44 degrees ( we did not struggle with the heat) The pool area is great as the pool graduated levels design means you can lie in the water and cool off. All inside areas are air conditioned well. All the pool waiters are on top of things and service was never slow. Drinks refilled, ice buckets topped up regularly and towels when required. Lunch served fresh and great choices. The food in the evening in “ling ling” restaurant was so delicious and as experienced Asian food eaters we give it top marks. Shirvan restaurant was also very good food. The villas are just beautiful with a very large private pool and jacuzzi. All amenities on hand. Very large bathroom, diptique products. Very comfy beds and pillows and slippers and flip flops provided . There are bikes to get around the hotel and of course the buggy will pick you up if you prefer. We would definitely return for sure and look forward to it. Couple of points to note It is on the flight path so planes do go over but we barely noticed it and it wasn’t all the time. You will need to take a taxi into medina etc. They can provide a hotel car or another taxi company. The hotel car is double the price of the other company so may be worth noting. Thankyou to all the staff for making our stay and my birthday so special. All extra touches very much appreciated. 🤗

I came to surprise my wife for our 10 year anniversary. She had the time of her life. We really enjoyed our Pool Villa. It was a shame we could only do 1 night but in future we plan to do 3 nights. We most definitely have to come back. We absolutely loved our butler Yassine. What a great guy!! If we come back we will definitely be requesting Yassine. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The staff were so accommodating. Dinner at the Ling Ling was incredible with an incredible view of the poolside. That pool Villa is the best room we have ever experienced. That was incredible. Wow. Thank you so much Mandarin Oriental. I have told so many friends about how great this trip was.

Not quite sure where to start with this review…words like exceptional, incredible, stunning and so so special just don’t do this hotel justice. Yes it is pricey, probably the only con I can think of because everything else just blew us away. A real life oasis. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and the service is incomparable. All the staff, everyone, thank you so much ☺️ . Then you have the villas of course that kind of takes your breath away. The hotel gardens, which of course you can’t get a sense of how truly beautiful they are, as you walk towards your villa, all you can smell is jasmine and roses, genuinely, I kid you not. The main pool is stunning, (I’m running out of adjectives) we had it to ourselves pretty much the whole day we sat by it. The spa….my fiancé and I both had the traditional hamman which was the perfect way to kick off our holiday, clean off the London grime and prep our skin for some sun. The food was delicious, our 15 year old son loved Hakasan most, I loved the breakfast, my fiancé loved it all. Last but not least, Oussama, our Butler, was INCREDIBLE, thank you for looking after us and making our holiday so special.

The breakfast was delicious but the service can be quite long. We had an issue with the noise from the AC in the villa but this was resolved by the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the team at Mandarin made us feel completely relaxed and welcome. One of the managers personally greeted us, showed genuine interest in our visit, and asked what we’d like to experience during our short 4-day stay in Marrakech. We wanted to explore the city a bit, and the hotel took care of absolutely everything – from pick-up to drop-off, including the guide and even lunch. It was all organised perfectly without us having to think about a thing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fairly priced it was – no inflated “hotel rates” at all. The hotel itself has everything you need, so if you just want to unwind and not leave the property, you can do that in total comfort. We stayed in December, and the weather was much better than expected – warm and peaceful, with the hotel feeling calm and uncrowded. Breakfast deserves a special mention – honestly the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. Fresh juices (not from cartons!), beautifully presented, and made to order. When I ordered something I didn’t like, they didn’t make a fuss – they simply replaced it without hesitation. That’s the kind of thoughtful service that really stays with you. Yes, it's a luxury hotel – but it’s the people that truly make it special. The staff and management at Mandarin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, and they really didn’t disappoint. An amazing experience. An all-villa hotel. The villas are superbly appointed with private swimming pool and jacuzzi. Staff are uber-friendly, food and facilities are great. One of the best bits is you get a private WhatsApp channel to your very own butler! The hotel is very green and back to nature; super relaxing.

Cons: Nothing really. If I was being picky, I didn’t warm to the fact that none of the patio doors in the villa (of which there were three) could be locked, so behind the main villa door, everything is always open. This just felt a bit weird, although it probably underlines that it’s very safe. Certainly there’s plenty of security around.

Cons: This hotel is a major disappointment compared to the prestigious brand it represents. Despite being advertised as a five-star luxury establishment, the services provided are highly inadequate: the staff is inefficient and disorganized, waiting times are excessively long, and cleanliness is severely lacking, with dust and dirt everywhere. The food quality in both restaurants is unsatisfactory, and the hotel’s location is extremely inconvenient—far from the center of Marrakech and surrounded by piles of garbage. The spa is equally disappointing, with cold water both in the pool and in the suite I stayed in, while the massages and treatments are rushed and performed by underqualified therapists. Furthermore, the presence of animals everywhere, including in the spa and restaurants, further worsens the experience, highlighting the poor hygiene and lack of attention to cleanliness. Sorry I do not recommend this hotel at all.

As many have said before, the Mandarin Oriental Marrakesh, is an exceptionally luxurious hotel in a very beautiful and tranquil setting that evokes a great sense of peace, tranquility and privacy. The grounds are abundant and beautifully planted and the villas are luxurious, well appointed, spacious and have absolutely everything you could possibly need in them. It’s wonderful to have so much space to yourself and so much privacy in a city hotel. There is an incredible level of attention to detail and the housekeeping team are fantastic. Every member of staff we came across, without exception was extremely friendly and courteous and service driven. However the highlight of our stay was our butler Amine. Through his warmth, kindness, good humour, efficiency and can do attitude he truly provided an exceptional level of service and really is a credit to what is a wonderful hotel. Thank you Amine for a wonderful trip.

The most stunning hotel where you feel you are in Morocco but it's not rammed down your throat! Stayed in Suite 2 which was enormous and had amazing views of the Atlas mountains. The staff were so kind and genuinely friendly especially Oussama who was so very helpful and professional. Highly recommend. The only downside is you have to rob a bank before considering staying there!!

Incredible experience from start to finish. We booked a Villa with a pool. The room was absolutely amazing, the pool is way more than a plunge pool with separate hottub. The staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. We had in room dining on our last night and it was out of this world. Our Host Reda was beyond exceptional. It's an experience that will stay with my wife and I forever. Thank you to everyone at hotel for making this stay truly magical. We will return next year for longer.

Cons: More than 6,800 € was taken from me, they wanted to take money again during the check-in and check-out process. The money I paid, around 7,500 €, was on authorization, they would charge me again, the other amount would be transferred to my account after 5 days, they made us experience a joke day, they ruined our holiday.

Resort was absolutely beautiful, perfect for rest and relaxation. During our stay we only needed to leave the hotel once for an excursion. Food quality is top notch, and service at the hotel is the best we ever experienced. They make sure you are completely taken care of, from the time you arrive at the airport to when you leave. Spa treatments were great too. We would definitely visit again if we come back to Morocco.

Location is 15 mins away from the Medina which is great after a long day bartering for carpets and learning about the history of the Medina. The breakfast is great and in January, off season, we practically had the place to ourselves. If you take a Villa, which is exceptional. you have access to a butler, who via WhatsApp, will organise tours, dinners, massage etc. The Villa is an oasis of relaxation. Amazing pool, Jacuzzi and plenty of room.

Cons: Hard to criticise anything but one thing to bear in mind. If you take a trip into the centre/ dinner etc you have a choice of taxi or hotel car. The hotel car is 5x the cost and given its usually 15 mins, not worth it. Unless you stipulate, they will assume hotel car. Likewise the personal guided tours, which are excellent, could be more cost effective. The tour guide gets about a third of the fee -two thirds go towards the hotel car which in our case just dropped us off an picked us up. In the room, there were classes available at the gym each day eg Yoga, HIIT etc. It was not clear if you had to pay for these and it was not made clear that you needed to register one day in advance. Whilst not related to the hotel-but they offered the service- recommend the fast track through the airport on the way in. It saved us 90 mins of queuing and it was off season! Its around $50 but worth it.

The mandarin pool villa is beautifully designed and the gardens outside the villa are like your in Paradise. Perfect location for medina and the airport. Highly recommend this place.

My family and I travel a significant amount and the Mandarin by far was one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The staff was the most wonderful staff. From the General manager Marcel to The Managers Fiona and Mounia we have never had such an amazing hospitable experience. They made us feel like we were at home and went above and beyond. Karim and Ousama were our private butlers who were exceptional and attentive to every single detail. I don’t have enough kind words on the experience we had and highly recommend the Mandarin Oriental Hotel to anyone visiting Marrakech. The villas are absolutely gorgeous. Felt like we were in paradise. Thank you to the entire staff for an amazing experience.

Great location for quite vacation. Isolated from Marrakesh but not far within 20 min drive from downtown. Staff are very friendly and respectful ... they make you feel home. When we checked in we were introduced to our assistant his name is oussama he took us on a tour and gave us his mobile number. He answered all our questions and organized everything even after working hours through whatsup. Oussama was very nice he kept advising about things to do in our trip even after we checked out. The hotel facility is clean and Nicky designed. I would definitely stay in same place if I visit Marrakesh again

Beautiful hotel, great spacious room although amenities in the second room are much fewer than the main room, great concierge, our room butler Mohammed was excellent, overall service was outstanding. Room service food was a bit of hit and miss, the hotel is a bit far from the city center so need to bear that in mind because the hotel transport is quite expensive.

As a special birthday treat my daughter and I went to Marrakesh for 3 days of luxury. The room was delightful and comfortable, although I always travel with my own pillow, I really didn't need it as the pillows were sumptous. The spa was amazing and we had fantastic treatments and service, 10+/10 . The main restaurant made a huge effort to please us as veggie and vegan foodies. I would have given full marks for this hotel if it had not been for Ling Ling restaurant. Although as vegetarians our expectations were not high, the veggie food was disappointingly average, a bad case of 'the emperors new clothes'.... but there was something extraordinary about Ling Ling it was that sadly they incorrectly charged us for 3 portions of duck adding £120 to our bill.... check you bills people and they didn't even apologise!! Shame!!

Probably the best hotel suite I’ve stayed in, but having ate in the hotel’s Chinese restaurant and then suffered 17 hours of chronic diarrhea, followed by a call out from a local doctor and a hefty bill, I was unbelievably disappointed that the staff didn’t even ask how I was feeling on check out. Wouldn’t recommend.
