The hotel was in the Medina and we didn’t appreciate that meant no car access at all . Medina streets like a rabbit warren !! Hotel staff went over and beyond their remit escorting us in and out of Medina till we got the hang of it . The staff couldn’t do enough for us . Food at rooftop restaurant was great . Breakfast was really good too

Cons: No street signs in the Medina !

The Almaha is a stunning property, the room was fantastic and the huge bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, down a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from the first souk. We treated ourselves a double hammam spa which was a wonderfully serene & relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooftop terrace is probably the nicest in all of Marrakesh; a chilled vibe with gorgeous flowers and lovely views.

Cons: Service on rooftop terrace was very erratic. We had breakfast up there on the first morning and we received coffee but no milk, and my partner never received his drink. We gave up on breakfast in the end. At dinner we asked for extra breads (the dish came with 3), after waiting over half an hour they delivered 17! The second day we ate breakfast downstairs and service was better, it feels like the staff didn’t want to run up and down 2 floors, so saved their trips until they could serve several people at once. This was disappointing for such a premium venue, a 3-star riad down the road we also stayed at had better service!

Very helpful staff and a great location which allowed an easy and safe 15 minute stroll into the main square. Beautiful Riad with a lovely roof bar/terrace where you could eat breakfast, dinner or simply enjoy the sunset with a drink.

Cons: Nothing significant. Maybe more sun loungers on the roof. Only 2 that weren’t allocated to certain rooms.

The hotel is beautiful, leafy, wonderfully decorated and cool. It is genuinely a piece of Art! Both restaurants are intimate and unique. I can imagine this being an incredible hotel for a small intimate occasion. The suites are stunning and spacious. Attention to detail is great, from cotton ear buds to his/hers sinks and soaps. The Marble bath was just ginormous, our young daughter had a ball splashing in there in the evenings. The private roof terrace was wonderful - nice to pop up and get some sun, order from the bar and enjoy some tranquility. The staff are friendly, one gentleman at breakfasts in particular stood out. Just the happiest young man we encountered in Marrakesh - he was beyond polite and courteous. He was so wonderful with our child and welcoming to us. The spa beneath the hotel is incredible! We had wonderful massages and Hammams. Food in the restaurant/ room service was delicious and such a treat to be able to order to your terrace or room via Whatsapp. I would highly recommend it to anyone who asks.

Cons: Nothing. The Hotel exceeded all expectations.

I stayed at Riad Almaha in Marrakech for four nights with my wife and our little daughter, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the staff, who were exceptionally kind and incredibly helpful. We initially booked two nights, but after enjoying the comfort and atmosphere, we decided to extend our stay for two additional nights. To our pleasant surprise, the team offered us a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture we truly appreciated. The cleanliness was impeccable — every time we returned from our outings, we found the room perfectly cleaned, refreshed, and just as beautiful as when we first arrived, if not more. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and we also tried lunch at the riad, which was equally excellent. What truly made this stay memorable, however, was the incredible team. They not only provided great service but also helped us with restaurant reservations, taxi bookings, and warmly greeted us every time with genuine smiles. They even played with our little daughter each time they saw her, which meant a lot to us. All in all, it was a truly exceptional stay, and I highly recommend Riad Almaha to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and detail-oriented experience in Marrakech.

Our 2-night stay at ALMAHA riad in the Kasbah of Marrakech was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness truly made our experience memorable. The riad itself is a beautiful oasis, but it's the incredible hospitality of the ALMAHA team that truly stands out. Thank you for an unforgettable stay – we can't wait to return!

We simply went for a treat and expected delicious Moroccan food. It was mediocre and very expensive. The location was very pleasant in the roof top bar. We had a chicken cous cous dish which wasn't very tasty and was far too dry. The bread rolls were hard. The salads were quite tasty but nothing special. We enjoyed more the meal we had the day before on the Booking .com Atlas Mountain trip where we had a really tasty tagine and fresh salads locally produced and cooked. Delicious home cooked cookies too. In fact the trip for two of us including the meal was cheaper than one meal for two people at this restaurant.

Gorgeous hotel and excellent service. The hotel is beautiful as was our room. I especially loved the huge tub, that I did use. Breakfast is included and was filling as well as tasty. We booked a suite with a private terrace near the rooftop bar where we chose to have breakfast each morning. We also had cocktails at the bar and some snacks. The fitness center is unremarkable but I honestly didn't exercise at all during this trip beyond on walking tours. If you are interested in TV, there is one hidden behind the mirror. We never turned it on (nor did we watch TV at all for this trip) but it is there if you want.

It's a beautiful riad with a luxurious vibe and the staff went above and beyond to cater to every need we had. They are available to message on WhatsApp at any time and they brought me conditioner for my hair, and answered my questions I had at random times. The room was stunning and beautiful as was the rest of the riad. The staff always helped us lift our children's wagon over the steps and assisted us with getting a taxi directly to the riad. It was a great location central inside the Kasbah/medina. It was such a perfect Marrakech stay.

Lovely and beautiful hotel in Marrakesh. Easy to find in the maze of the Medina. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Large bedrooms, the water pressure in room 2 was very good. the Riad was lovely and quiet and very lovely inside as was the rooftop area. The staff were exceptionally nice w helpful and friendly in every way. The taxi drops you on the road and the staff assist you on the short walk to the Riad with your bags. We had a lovely checkin with mint tea and shown to our room. Thee room we had (room 9) was spacious with a staircase that had direct access to the rooftop where you could take lunch, breakfast drinks etc. we had our own gated off area with loungers (not fully private) but nice to relax and we sat and had lunch one day in this area and also breakfasts. This was a great feature. The bathroom and bedroom are spacious and clean with a fridge. All in all we had a lovely stay here and the staff made it very enjoyable.

The meals at the restaurant including the breakfast were authentically Moroccan and we have very fond memories of ur stay.

We stayed here for a few days before heading to the desert and then came back for few more days. The riad is absolutely amazing, our room was huge and we had our own small living room all nicely decorated. Our bathroom was huge as well and well thought. The staff made our stay so enjoyable. From the receiving Marrakech whiskey (mint tea with honey) to everything they did for us to make our stay enjoyable. We also used the spa for a Hamam, if you have never had one you must. Is a bath where you do nothing. They wash you with a special black soap and a scrub to remove all your dead skin…… it is amazing! The food was also super and this hotel has a rooftop and swimming pool and gym. We loved our stay here if you want to immerse yourself in the Moroccan culture.

The atmosphere of the Riad was something completely new to me, and I really enjoyed it. The inner courtyard, filled with lush greenery, created a peaceful and relaxing environment. The sound of birds in the early morning added to the tranquil experience. The decoration and traditional design were beautiful, and the rooftop terrace at night was truly stunning. The concept of made-to-order breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—I really appreciated the traditional Moroccan breakfast instead of a standard buffet.

Cons: Unfortunately, our initial check-in experience was not the best. We arrived very late and exhausted, and while the host kindly gave us a brief overview of the facilities, we were disappointed when we entered our first room (Room No. 9). Everything in this room felt overused and worn out—especially the bathrobes and the towels, which were in terrible condition. My wife refused to use the toiletries and could barely sleep the first night because of the overall cleanliness issues. Additionally, the toilet siphon was leaking, and I had to manually detach and fix it. The shower drain was clogged, causing the water to nearly overflow. The next morning, we shared our concerns with the staff, and I must commend them for their swift response. After a few hours, they called me and offered an upgrade to a suite (room 10), which made a huge difference. The new room was clean, well-maintained, and much more comfortable. They provided fresh bathrobes and clean bed sheets, and all the facilities, including the toilet and shower, worked perfectly. The walk-in closet was spacious, making the stay even more comfortable. Despite the initial disappointment, the way the Riad handled the issue showed that they truly care about their guests’ comfort. If all the rooms were maintained to the standard of the suite we stayed in, this would have been a flawless experience. I appreciate their hospitality and willingness to resolve issues quickly, and I would consider staying here again—just in a well-maintained room from the start!

Almaha Marrakech is an excellent riad, from its location to its Marrakech décor that immediately puts one at ease and some of the best staff I have ever experienced. It is neat, clean and equipped with all the necessary facilities. It has a beautiful spa, 2 restaurants with great food and a roof terrace with a stunning view, which was one of the highlights of our stay. The entire staff - receptionists, spa and service team - were exceptionally friendly, well trained and accommodating, all making us feel welcome. A special thank you goes to Youssef Mahfoud for his helpfulness and warmth in making our stay so enjoyable. He went above and beyond to help us find solutions to all our questions and requests. Youssef's hospitality, kindness, attention to detail and care enabled us to have such a wonderful time. We are leaving with beautiful memories. Thank you so much!

I had a magical stay at Almaha. The Riad is greatly located, in the middle of the Kasbah, close to the Al Bahia palace, decorated in a revisited Morroco style, with so much taste and elegance. Peaceful and Romantic, and in particular the wooden and red carpet Salon, in which I had great discussions, the sunroof terrace and bar facing the Atlas mountains and the totally enchanting and luxurious Hammam/Spa. The room was beautiful and very large, with a small patio. The staff incredibly kind and helpful . Wow!

The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. They even made us check in early because the room was available. The waiters at the rooftop restaurant was also excellent in delivering our meals as quickly as possible. Overall, I was very impressed at Almaha and would not hesitate to book this hotel again if I ever come back to Marrakech!

A pretty Riad once inside with a nice courtyard area which is where you can have breakfast etc. Room, bathroom and shower all very big and decent size. Staff super nice, polite and pleasant. No windows in the room which can make it feel a little claustrophobic- and also probably why there is always a little bit of a musty smell in the room. Breakfast was fine with a blend of local and traditional food on offer. After a couple of days can feel samey though and you don’t get to choose what is brought out. It’s all done for you with the only option being how you like your eggs. Despite being called omelettes, they are basically scrambled eggs done with or without what you would normally have in an omelette. No criticism, just an observation. For example, fresh orange juice is automatically brought out which is lovely but, if you’re not a fan of juice or OJ, specifically, then it seems a bit of a waste. A simple ‘would you like some fresh OJ?’ would cover this off. At the risk of sounding like a pedant, coffee should not have the milk poured into it - rather let the person drinking it pour the right amount in for them. I ended up with a cup of milk with a dash of coffee- which is not how I like or take it. We dined at the hotel one evening and that was fine although very empty and quiet which made us wonder… The rooftop is a bit of a maze and a lot of the spaces are assigned to the rooms on that floor so choice is ultimately limited. The pool is more of a plunge pool really than a swimming pool- but in defence, I would think that you don’t come here explicitly for that. The ‘gym’ next to it was erm, more like a badly thought out garden room big enough for a cat. To be fair, it’s not advertised on their website as one but, be aware. Location is ok- something like a leisurely 15/20 walk to the main squares and medina etc. If you can bear running the ‘everyone trying to sell you something’ gauntlet, then it’s not really an issue. There were some paving works being carried out on the main road to the hotel which meant that transport cannot drop you in front meaning a small walk - the bell boy helps with luggage but again, just pointing out.

A very authentic riad 15-20 min walk to the medina. We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and happily arranged taxis and a tour for us. We were advised that taxis should cost 100 dirhams to anywhere in marrakech. The suite was large with a comfortable bed and kept very clean. It had a kettle with tea bags and a small fridge. Bottled water was plentiful and the bathroom was a good size with good water pressure in the shower. Like all roads it is quite dark in the rooms with not very bright lights. The semi private roof top with a table and 2 chairs and 2 sun beds and a sun umbrella was a real added bonus. The rooftop bar had lovely views and very nice cocktails. The food however was a bit bland and quite expensive in comparison to other places we tried. Breakfasts were large with many types of Moroccan breads, cake, croissants, jams and omelettes. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

This is a wonderful Riad with an excellent location. The Riad is beautiful and the rooms are decorated in Moroccan style. The rooftop has a stunning view and nice restaurant/bar. We were delighted by the superb treatment from all of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, cheerful, and humble, making our stay at the property a very cozy experience. The place is in a quiet area, within walking distance of all the main attractions in the medina. Our room was huge, with a very comfortable bed, quiet ambiance, full blackout curtains, and direct access to the terrace. The riad itself has beautiful architecture and a vintage feel. There is a charming rooftop where we had tea daily, watching the sunset. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a legitimate, vintage luxury riad experience on the outskirts of the medina. Extra tip: Try scheduling a transfer directly with the hotel, as you'll need to walk a short distance, and their driver is more knowledgeable about the area. Marrakesh is a very safe place, but it may seem a bit sketchy late at night.

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Almaha in a junior suite. The riad was absolutely beautiful and conveniently located in the medina. Our room was beautiful with access to a private, rooftop terrace. Our room did have a bit of a peculiar smell, but we got used to it and they included an air purifier in the room which helped. The service was amazing, and breakfast was very good. The spa was also really nice, and we had wonderful massages.

Absolutely beautiful! Words cannot express how wonderful this top shelf Riad is in the medina of Marrakesh. Service was top shelf, smiles and an eagerness to please from every staff member. You are made to feel like you are their only esteemed guest. A rooftop restaurant/bar to rival all others in Marrakesh and quality to boot! I've personally never stayed in a nicer place with service and quality to meet economic value. Literally, a price cannot be placed on such quality service and product. I give this my strongest recommendation and would suggest this for your next Marrakesh stay. A 15 minute safe walk to the main square and other highlights of the medina by day and night. The only issue we had was that we stayed here our final two nights, we wish we were here for the entire time. You actually find yourself not leaving! Spa facilities, private patios, exquisite rooms, a view to die for, privacy and quite possibly the best service in Morocco! Do it, reserve your room and prepare for quality service from the beautiful smiling faces at the front desk to the rooftop slice of heaven. Thank you so much for making our trip to Marrakesh memorable! Mike & Molly

We stayed at the Riad Almaha for three nights - we took three rooms for my wife and I (Room 8 - fabulous) and our 27 (Room 12 - lovely) and 25 (Room 10 - also gorgeous) year old kids. It was genuinely the most wonderful and hospitable experience. We’ve been fortunate to have stayed in some lovely places over the years but this was up there with the best of them and we would wholeheartedly recommend. It was in a good location - ok, you had a 25 minute walk to the main square but actually it felt well placed. The staff were all totally fabulous - from house keeping to the restaurant staff to the front desk to the guy that had to lug our luggage. Breakfast on the roof was delicious and relaxed - a great start time the day. We had Sunday brunch at La Mamounia which was really lovely but tbh I’d take a stay at the Almaha everyday of the week. Thank you to everyone at the Almaha - you were excellent!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Almaha in September, and it was truly exceptional. Located in the heart of the Kasbah, this riad offers easy access to key attractions. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring massive bathrooms and private patios. We didn't use our patio much, the rooftop bar became our preferred spot for evening drinks especially late at night when there were no other customers there. Dining was good, with an outstanding chicken club sandwich and excellent breakfasts. The spa services, including massage and pedicure, were also top-notch. However, what truly set Almaha apart was its staff. Their warmth and attentiveness went above and beyond, from walking us to nearby stores to always greeting us with genuine smiles. This level of hospitality created an experience that will stay with us long after the details of our room or meals have faded.

Cons: I didn’t enquire but they may not have an elevator which could be bothersome for some one with mobility issues.

We took a private patio suite which is at the groud floor, great and quiet. Breakfast is quite rich and the quality of the food they offer is great. The staff is super kind and amazing they can be contacted by whatsapp for any request. The Riad is 10 mins walking from the square Jema el Fnaa, and Kasbah area is between two King's palace so it's very clean, compared to Medina area We have not tried the Spa because it was fully booked so I can't tell more about it. Surely an adviced stay and location.

The hotel is a quiet oasis in the lively and beautiful city of Marrakesh. It is located outside the Medina, but it can easily be reached on foot. The rooms are very spacious and provide room to relax with huge bathrooms for your comfort. We had nice dinners and breakfast on the rooftop area and found a cool space in the patio to sit down and enjoy the quietness. The Hammam treatment offered by the hotel was great as well as the day trips, such as to the mountains or the desert. The best part of our experience, however, was the friendly and welcoming staff, who helped us with every question and wish. We had a great experience in Marrakesh and the hotel supported this experience to its best.

Cons: Nothing in particular.

Myself and my 2 teenagers have just returned from 2 nights at Almaha- the perfect end to our amazing week in Morocco. It was an absolute dream for us here. Everything was beautiful. It is a very peaceful location yet close by to the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. The courtyard is a wonderful setting for morning breakfast. Our room was large and very clean and comfortable. The decor is true to a Moroccan Riad character rather than a bland modern hotel and gave a tranquil boutique feel. The shower is magnificent. The staff were all very helpful and extremely polite. They really did make our stay the relaxing break we were hoping for.

An Oasis in the middle of Marrakesh mayhem. Beautiful Riad and wonderful staff. The breakfast venue on the roof was very special. The Spa was very nice - swimming pool very small but in keeping with the Riad. Amazing how the noisy outside just disappears when you are in the Riad...

Upon arrival 3-4 people greeted us and one person showed us to the lovely garden courtyard. We were given a welcome mint tea before being shown around the riad and our room. The staff were great at all times during our stay, helping with recommendations, bookings and anything else you might need. There were a lot of staff and it showed in their attentiveness to us and upkeep of the building. The breakfast was great, with pastries and fresh omelets and fruit along with great orange juice and coffee. The rooms were spacious, very clean with a turn down service each evening. The spa and the therapists in the spa were great too. The building itself was very tranquil with beautiful greenery. The rooftop area was great with an amazing view of the sunset over the city. Could just do with a couple of heaters for the colder nights.

Cons: The only thing that we thought could be improved was the food for lunch and dinner. It was one of the most expensive menus we’d seen in the Kasbah area with the exception of La Sultana (which is significantly more expensive) but was not deserving of the high prices when compared to the quality of some of the other riads and restaurants we went to during our stay. Take a look at Villa Makassar’s restaurant and menu for a similarly priced menu but for extremely good food by comparison.

If you think about staying in a large international chain, I recommend to re-consider it. This hotel gives all the comfort a large hotel can give, plus its right in the middle of the Marrakech, it's style is authentic and the interior is just amaizing! This is actually a riad, a hidden place behind the walls, that has a garden in the middle and the rooms are around this garden. The interior is just breathtaking, you really feel that you are in a different environment. We stayed in one of the top level apartments, that has its own stairs to the terrace - where we had our own private little space (with sun beds, table and chairs) to have breakfast or get a drink in the evenings. We liked that the room was refreshed multiple times a day without asking for it. You are literally in the middle of the city, it takes about 5 minutes of walk to get to a main street with all the sellers and placed. The staff was always nice, very caring and we couldn't ask for anything they couldn't deliver.

Cons: It's not a major issue, neither something you can do much about it, but the toilet was quite small in our room. :)

This Riad is chic, tranquil and effortlessly charming. We loved the location. It’s down a windy street, a few steps from market stalls and the busy rush of Marrakesh. We spent blissful evenings sipping mint tea up on the roof terrace; bathed in the setting sunlight watching our toddler (16 months old) running around chasing Shaka the cat. Travelling with a baby, we couldn’t have felt more at home. The whole team are wonderful and caring, and we are so grateful to them for making our first family holiday so special. Travel essentials to tick off: - great WiFi throughout (roof top has separate to main hotel) - Lovely hot shower - Highly recommend booking airport transfer, they arranged a car seat and the whole thing felt effortless, which is a feat when travelling with a baby. - Food is delicious and they serve cocktails as well as Moroccan wines and beer. Breakfast can be served in a number of great spots including with a view of the beautiful palatial emerald courtyard, or of the stunning Atlas Mountains.

This is a fabulous boutique Riad with superb facilities and staff. I particularly liked the Roof Bar and Hammam Spa. The bedrooms are enormous and have private access to their own private sun deck on the roof. The staff are super nice and the food is amazing.

Cons: The only slight comment is that it is tricky to find initially, as it is located in a pedestrian lane like most of the Riads in Morrocco. I would recommend that visitors took advantage of the pickup service from the airport arranged by the hotel, 20 euros, not Booking.com. I would also recommend changing around 100 Euros at one of the airport change bureaus before security. Once at the Riad, the location is fine as it is located only 100m from the main street of the Kasbah main street.

Cons: The absence of a lift would cause problems to guests with physical incapacity. Being Moslem, the alcoholic drinks were limited and confined to G&T mainly. However, there was a red and a white Moroccan wine, which were excellent! The pool was a bit too cold for me!

Amazing property - staff exceptional. Such a beautiful, peaceful haven in the centre of busy Marrakesh. Lovely roof top bar and pool. Reception staff spent time explaining best spots to visit and arranged a superbly knowledgeable guide at short notice. Breakfast lovely served in a choice of spots around the riad.

Reduan, the charming and coolest water in Morroco! The hotel was empty when we were there due to it being the low season. The room was beautiful, felt we dived straight into their culture! The soap is so good! Definitely go to the roof top for sunset and if you find the very friendly, black and white cat, give her a nice pat. Thank you to the lovely staff for helping prepare a vegan meal each morning and for helping arrange a very last minute private tour to Atlas Mountains and also helping us change our currency!! Will definitely come again!

LOVED our stay here! Our first time in Morocco and this riad did not disappoint! We were lucky to have the whole place basically to ourselves. It was super quiet and such a beautiful setting! Very Moroccan decor, furnishings and romantic lighting! Big shout out to Reduan (apologies if I spelt this incorrectly), he made our experience so wonderful! Humble kind smile and when you see him, he just brightens up your day/evening. Thank you for the most amazing experience! We have special memories, thanks to you all! Also, I feel in love with the black and white cat that sits up at the restaurant upstairs! Go give her a pat, she's super affectionate!

Interior architecture stunning. You'll want to just sit and drink orange juice all day, soaking up the atmosphere. Or relax with a mint tea or bottle of wine on the gorgeous roof terrace. Breakfasts included different types of pastry, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, omelette made to order. Our room (upstairs room with private roof terrace area) was spacious and absolutely wonderful: dark and cool inside when shutters drawn - great rest for the eyes from that midday sun outside. Bathroom was huge and marble everywhere. Pixel room and library were fabulous, although we preferred to eat outside in courtyard as its beauty cannot be matched.

Cons: I was looking for a place with a plunge pool in the central courtyard with loungers and dining around the pool - this traditional architecture of a riad built around a square can be very beautiful. Although Almaha was extremely beautiful, do not be fooled like I was: the massive green thing in the middle of the courtyard is in fact not a plunge pool, it's just green tile work with a very reflective finish. However there IS a small and lovely pool elsewhere and so this didn't detract in any way. Our room had really quite noisy air con which we mentioned on the first day but was not resolved. It was not unbearable, more like loud white noise, so I was able to ignore it. On the final day we had no water. Not great as needed a shower before going to airport. Mentioned it four times to three different people. Eventually the right person got the message and it was immediately fixed. But nobody came back to us for a few hours and it affected our plans, so it was a bit of a hassle. Maybe just a language thing? This was a minor annoyance in an overall wonderful stay at the riad.

As others have said, you can book this hotel with confidence. This is a beautiful riad inside a relatively peaceful part of the Medina. Most , if not all of the principal sites are easily accessible on foot but once through the door you are in a space of calm and tranquility. We had a suite, which was very spacious and included a lovely private patio with sunloungers on the rooftop! The bathroom was very atmospheric and marbled tiled and the decor throughout the hotel was a stylish blend of the traditional and contemporary The rooftop restaurant was a pleasant place to eat and the food was good. The service was impeccable with courteous and friendly staff in every area. We also used the spa and Hammam at the hotel and it was a wonderful and invigorating experience with very professional staff. If you want to wash off the dust of the Medina, what better place to go. We would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you!

Cons: The room was a little dark but that is restful after the glaring sun

I truly liked everything about this hotel, from the very first welcoming to the last minute before we left. The staff friendliness is the most outstanding value the hotel has. The service is extraordinaire and there is nothing that was not accommodated, in fact way beyond, when I was driven by the restaurant staff to the pharmacy. I will highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

I can’t describe good enough the personal treatment of the staff of this place - Monem /I hope I write it properly/ was the person that welcomed us and since the beginning he become like our family. The whole staff takes care of you as you’re in your own house. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the Market and the biggest Mosque. The area is safe, we didn’t have any problems. Have in mind that the taxis don’t drive to the hotel, but you can be picked up nearby. The hotel is very clean, something really important in a place like Marrakesh. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a typical Moroccan style. I would like to thank once more to Monem for making our stay so special with his friendly behaviour. It’s absolutely above the average and I have been travelling a lot.

Cons: It is just a little bit overpriced, but acceptable ☺️

A very warm welcome from every member of staff .Lovely tea and biscuits on arrival whilst the bags were taken to the room. Very easy to organise cars from the hotel, despite a short walk to where they pick you up. The staff were always available to show you the way or carry your bags. The drivers we had were both excellent and had nice quality vehicles. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the roof top which was very good quality.

Cons: The initial arrival with all bags was a surprise .A helpful local helped us to carry our bags to the hotel. Of course if we had told the hotel when we would arrive they would have had help available.

Rooftop for breakfast a great way to start the day. Hammam an absolute worthy visit. . Location right in kasbah. Busy busy. But once u stepped into the riad it was an oasis of peace and tranquility. A true gem of a hotel. We enjoyed our stay at Almaha so much that we will be recommending it to anyone we know who plans to visit Marrakech. Our room was exceptional with plenty of space that included a walk-in closet and separate rain shower and deep soak tub. Despite it being located on the ground floor off of the main courtyard, we never heard anyone in that area while we were in our room, except the lovely little birds who have made a home in the greenery and the occasional distant hum of housekeeping’s vacuum (which, with the shutters closed, was blocked out). Because of our how our personal itinerary for Marrakech worked out, we often stopped back in after sightseeing in the morning for a restful break before venturing out again in the evening. Stepping into the Riad and emerging into the courtyard area was always a very welcomed moment after the rush of the city. Marrakech is full on, and all your senses are engaged - but the Riad was a peaceful retreat away from it. We took advantage of the spa downstairs and had a traditional hammam treatments followed by massages which we really enjoyed. Just ask for water, the second steam detoxes so much that a cold bottle of water was needed to hydrate (which was provided when asked for!). The staff at Almaha were very accommodating, and we were able to have lunch on the rooftop terrace on short notice - each meal we had was delicious - breakfast each morning was an impressive spread that included crepes, traditional tea and coffee, fresh fruit and omelets. The room comes with a mini fridge stocked with water bottles, as is the bedside table that is restocked every day, and with complimentary tea and coffee.

This was our first visit to Marrakesh and we had taken a while to chose our Accommodation. We were keen to have an authentic experience, however, we were also conscious of being new to the city and unsure of the perfect location. We were so pleased when we entered the outer door of of the riad into an oasis of calm…it really was a beautiful place. The staff were exceptionally helpful, kind and polite, the room was spacious, well appointed and tasteful decorated in a Moroccan style. We had 3 great days in Marrakesh, it is a bustling busy place, a full assault on the senses! From the motorbikes, to the chickens, to the smokey food stalls to the vendors selling everything from spices to lamps to leather work, it is alive day and night! As wonderful as this was I was very glad to walk through the door to the Riad Almaha, into a serene place of quiet calm to recharge my batteries before the next day began.

Cons: It was all fantastic...really can't say anything negative about this place, I loved it!!

The hospitality in this hotel have set the bar very high, and it has been nothing short of “wonderful ambiance”. The rooms are spacious, clean and super comfortable. Alongside the thoughtful amenities and general warmth, an efficient staff that excels at personal attention. it is a beautiful and Idillic Riad in the heart of the Medina, central and many places to visit nearby. Beautiful and Luxurious look.

Cons: We booked the room with a private terrace just because of a decoration what was shown on the photos with a cozy red pillows like a nice corner, we tought that when we arrive that it will actually look like that, but not, in order to have what we saw on the picture we have to ask in advance to have this installation, when we asked, it was installed but with a one carpet and 2 pillow, not as the photo shows with 10 pillow and all oriantal details. It was a pity.

Cons: The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has a massive potential . Personally (probably also because I am in interior decoration ) , I think the property would benefit from a! update of the soft furnishing , accessories and decorative elements of the rooms like fabrics, rugs, cutlery, glassware, plates etc to make it more sophisticated, interesting and to really step up the experience to a different level more in line with the environment around.
