Valeria medina is a disappointment our room in Riad 8 was dated, had no view, was poorly cleaned and there was no light in the stairwell leading to the room. Reception staff were unhelpful, money exchange isn’t available every day and access isn’t good for mobility restricted guests. The restaurant caters for French patrons only, the food is bland and repetitive, the tables are dirty and only wine is served at meals. The bar is a joke, one barman on duty at pre-dinner drinks meant very long lines of thirsty patrons. The liquor is of a cheap quality and the beer frankly stinks, is served from lukewarm bottles into dirty glasses. The pool areas are ok but nothing special. The hotel shop has nothing a traveller needs. This hotel is to be avoided.

The whole workforce @ this resort, entertainment, restaurant, housekeeping & reception staff cannot be commended enough with service . However as a British speaking holiday maker we are over looked in communication when it comes to inclusion of events & on 2 occasion all french speakers went off to Amphitheater & left in main bar/balroomwith not even music playing!! Which was not a feeling you want on your holiday. Please acknowledge this response & make changes for total inclusivity in this resort?

A truly disappointing and uncomfortable stay. The rooms were run‑down, the air conditioning didn’t work, and there was no hot water. The shower was broken, and at one point, there was no running water for hours. I requested a room change, but nothing was done. The issues continued throughout the property: - The bar had no ice, so drinks were served warm. - The restaurant toilets had blocked urinals. - The poolside showers were not working. - The common bathrooms had no hand soap and broken hand dryers. - Birds were regularly eating from the buffet food, which is extremely unhygienic. On top of all this, the staff were unhelpful and did not seem interested in resolving

I’ve stayed in a lot of places, but my experience at Valaria Marina in Morocco genuinely stood out — not just because of the setting, but because of the people. The entertainment team? Elite energy. From day one, they didn’t just “do activities” — they created atmosphere. You could feel the intention behind everything. Whether it was poolside games, evening shows, or just casual conversations, they brought personality, humour, and real presence. It never felt forced or rehearsed. It felt natural. Confident. Engaging. You can tell when a team actually enjoys what they do — and that makes all the difference. They made guests feel seen. Included. Welcome. That’s rare. Now let’s talk about the bar. Consistent. Professional. On point. The bartenders didn’t just pour drinks — they crafted experiences. Quick service, clean presentation, proper measures, and always delivered with a smile. Whether it was cocktails in the evening or something light during the day, the standard never dropped. Good music, good vibe, and a level of attentiveness that makes you want to stay for “just one more.” What impressed me most was the balance — relaxed luxury without pretension. You could unwind properly. No chaos, no stress. Just smooth hospitality done right. Overall, Valaria Marina isn’t just about the building or the location. It’s about the people running it. The entertainment team and bar staff elevated the whole experience. I’ll definitely be back. — Harrison (room 711)

What a place this is! Hotel reception - exceptional Catering staff - exceptional Even had managers and directors walking around to make sure all the guests are happy and happy to help in any way. The reps in this resort are the best we've ever seen! We take our 4 children (aged between 3-12) away every year to all inclusive hotels and this has by far been the best! We have to say Kiki was so attentive and made us and the children feel so happy and comfortable! Kiki you're the best and any hotel would be so lucky to have you! So much so we have rebooked for next year! Thank you to all the staff, we had the most fantastic time and we see you next year! Xx

What a wonderful place to go. Food amazing. Weather fabulous. Staff can't do enough for you. I was poorly 2nd week of holiday and Restaurant staff helped with honey and lemon drinks and gave to husband to give to me. When I went to Restaurant after a few days most of staff asked how I was and got my food for me. I will definitely go back. Loads to do. We went on desert trip rode camel and did quad biking. Did 2 trips of old madina 1 at night and 1 daytime. Well worth the trip to see. Price for all inclusive was reasonable for this time of year. Lots to do within hotel always some activity going on. Even though some days place looked really busy there is boatloads of tables. Can eat outside under cover Place is clean and whilst busy doing repairs it doesn't effect any use of facilities. There is a water park with slides Going to try and get family to go next year. Can't wait to go back.

We had been informed by jet2 prior to booking our holiday that there would be building work going on so we expected very little. However we were impressed by how welcome we were made. Our luggage was taken to our room in the little buggy and when we got there it was clean, well maintained and we had no issues. Throughout our stay (1 week) the room was cleaned and fresh bed linen and towels every day. The beds were comfortable, the shower very high powered and refreshing. The food was typically Moroccan/French but tasty if you're prepared to experiment. The staff in the restaurant were efficient, friendly and always greeted us happily. Wine served with meals was good quality and served in half bottles which was a nice touch, as was the fact that tables were set in the evening with lovely white table clothes and napkins. There are birds flying around at times but the staff do a reasonable job of ensuring they're away from the food. Microwaves are available if you prefer your food piping hot . The pool areas and grounds are immaculately kept with gardens, fountains maintained by a team of impressive employees. The animation team are excellent and work hard getting to know people and are always kind and pleasant. Even though the weather was poor we enjoyed a lovely relaxing time away.

Just got back from an amazing 4 night stay here, literally couldn't fault a thing. Rooms were spacious, with nice decor, large comfy bed and good shower. Fridge in room and bottled water left each day. Food was delicious, we have eaten so much! We loved the Morrocan food, they also have freshly cooked pizza, pasta and so much salad choice. Staff in restaurant are so attentive, bring you bottles of wine and constantly clearing tables. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the cleaners all around the hotel work so hard, rooms cleaned daily. All the staff were brilliant, we have teenage kids so can't comment on the kids club but the animation team were so much fun and always joking around. If you want to get involved with darts, games, aqua aerobics, water polo etc you can but there is no pressure, if you want a quiet time the pool near the aqua park is very nice and relaxing and so is the Mango bar pool but the main pool is heated . You pay for drinks at Mango but the cocktails were lovely. Water slides great fun and we made use of the tennis courts. Construction work is so minimal, we were near it and it didn't disturb us at all and nothing is closed. I'm confused by the last few bad reviews as we couldn't have had a better experience here. The staff spoke brilliant English and were happy to talk to you in English, made announcements in English and were always on hand to help. There is a shuttle to Medina but we were late realising this so got a taxi which reception called for us. We enjoyed the Souks and did quad biking one day but also enjoyed relaxing at the hotel, a perfect mix. I rarely go back to the same hotel but would definitely return here. Tips: take layers at this time of year it's chilly in the evenings but rooms weren't cold. You can ask for chips at the snack bar they cook them fresh. Pool towels can be hired with a deposit.

After reading the reviews of this hotel we weren't looking forward to going but I have to say this hotel was lovely. The hotel is very clean and yes there are birds flying around in the dining area but never seen any dirt about. Staff are polite and would do anything (as long as you tip them lol). The food was lovely and yes sometimes it was a bit cold but I just blasted it in the microwave but there were loads of options. The wine at dinner is very good but trying to get a Coke Zero is very hard and you had to go to the bar to get it. Sometimes getting coffee and tea in the morning wasn't easy as there are only 2 machines and 1 was broke sometimes. Also the hot water for wasn't really that hot. The entertainment was very good and there was lots to do if thats your thing. All the pools where opened including the water park, the heated pool was lovely as it was a bit chilly. The rooms where ok basic but clean so couldn't ask for anything more than that. I would say that the air con isn't great and the room was roasting (not sure if we were working it correctly). We did have an issue with the safe when it didn't work but they came and sorted it out straight away. We seen one section that was being worked on but it didn't affect us and never seen or heard anything. Overall I would recommend this hotel

Hotel was terrible! Upon opening the door of the riad was a cockroach. I pointed it out and they done nothing about it. Then there was a terrible smell coming from my room - smells like sewage. Aqua park is closed and there is construction works going on throughout the resort and they leave food waste pilled up in bags everywhere! There is an English language barrier but you can communicate with the staff. Food is under cooked and cold, with 2 microwaves provided which is terrible. You have birds flying in the restaurant eating the bread on display - Not a good look. Will be requesting a partial refund as this is not what I paid for

Absolutely appalling wouldn’t come here again you either like it or you don’t but our experience have made us not like it. There is a limit to drinks got told off for having two drinks even tho we are all inclusive, ants infested room, water stopped working at one point. Reception was absolutely rude to us made us pay a £65 deposit and didn’t give it us back despite getting told we was getting it back after we check out. Bar only served everyone else other than the English left us till last unless waving money to them. They do not like British people everyone has different coloured wrist bands of where you come from like England purple ext. manger was rude and gave me and my friends dirty looks. Had to ask housekeeper to clean our room and they still didn’t do it. Other then that animation team made us feel welcomed and they was so friendly especially peka and katy they made us feel welcomed.

Myself and my partner booked this hotel for a week away. When we arrived the hotel looked very tired, We did expect some facilities to not be operational due to the off peak season which was to be expected. Rooms like the hotel are quite tired and need refurnishing, Cleaners where fantastic, fresh towels daily and beds made daily which we found exceptional. Food at the hotel was absolutely shocking, Raw meat cooked on heated pads, Food still not ready when the food hall opened (Bare in mind they have hours to prepare food when the food hall is closed). Food choice is great if all you eat is pasta, couscous, Beef and some salad that by the looks of that had been left out for days. Staff seemed ok however if you are of any nationality over than miserable French then staff do not seem that arsed to serve you. I am quite a laid back person and find very little to complain about but it definitely needs improving. Great thing about the hotel is the Mango bar area, Separate food and menu from the main hotel, While you had to pay for this i honestly did find it was worth every penny than to suffer at the food hall again.

Cons: j’ai été déçu par mon expérience au restaurant Zeytoun lors du petit-déjeuner! Came here for a 4 night stay , upon arrival the entrance did not look inviting was dark and dinghy. Once checked in we were left to find our room by ourselves with no directions or help , another young lad was in the same situation which I found to be a bad start. Our room was disgusting, mould round the shower which was also broken , toilet seat broken , mucky walls and furniture and very run down. Complained to reception who said they could.move us in the morning and would have the room we was currently in clean . I will give the hotel that , they did stick to the promise of the room.being cleaned not that it really helped and we were moved the next morning to another room that was a but cleaner but was still not up to goo standards. We were aware of building work on the bedroom blocks so to arrive and find the pool closed was a bit naughty of jet 2 to not inform us.but it seemed alot of customers where in the same situation . Entertainment mostly in French which is no good to English speaking guest as we had no clue what was going on . Drinks selections quite low on the all inclusive compared to other hotels we stayed at but quite.liked the beer so managed. Food good apart from.breakfast struggled with that as it was the.same every day. Staff mostly friendly apart from one particular bar man that kept serving everyone else and ignoring us. Served a Asian couple virgin mojitos but then when we asked he said no , the young Asian lady was surprised and offered to go get us 2 , she came back with no problem.of getting them.so unsure.of why the bar man kept refusing us as we were all.inclusive . All in all it is a horrible hotel and we couldn't wait to leave . We would not return even if you paid us

Hotel Grounds, Cleanliness, and Safety The hotel grounds were in a poor and unsafe condition. There was tipped rubbish outside with a strong and unpleasant smell, pathways were obstructed by work vehicles, and there was widespread flooding caused by leaking roofs. Communal areas were repeatedly flooded, creating slip hazards. My daughter slipped due to water on the floor. Our original room was unacceptable. It was dirty and infested with ants. The shower was not working, blinds were falling off and marked with paint, the fridge did not function, and Wi-Fi was unreliable. These issues were reported to hotel reception on numerous occasions throughout our stay. An alternative room was only offered late in our stay, after repeated complaints. Unfortunately, the same issues persisted in the replacement room. The shower in the alternative room was also not working, hygiene standards remained poor, and the room was again infested with ants. Food, Hygiene, and Dietary Requirements Despite being assured that gluten-free meals would be prepared by the chef, this was not provided. The food available was repetitive, unsuitable, and often served cold. Birds were frequently seen picking at uncovered food, raising serious hygiene concerns. The “snack” offering advertised did not exist in practice. Promised sanitary items were also never provided, despite assurances that staff would follow up. Hospital Incident and Refusal of Food Discrimination and Staff Attitude Throughout the stay, staff attitudes—particularly at reception—were consistently unwelcoming. I was also deeply uncomfortable with what appeared to be discriminatory treatment. Black guests, including members of my party, were treated with noticeably less patience and respect, and French-speaking staff did not intervene or assist when concerns were raised.

Food was ok but cold and never in my life have I saw two microwaves to heat up your food birds all over the baked goods …. The drinks where disgusting the bar was dirty and they kept saying they had ran out of whisky and gin sure it was a cut off for the whisky and gin drinkers tho there mint tea was just sugar tasty tho !!!!! Rooms are dated jet 2 where not bothered when we contacted them but we ended up having the best holiday in our riad and made our own way back to airport !!!

What is shown on the Valeria Marina Resort website does not reflect the reality. The hotel is nowhere near the standard suggested by the photos. The grounds are in a noticeable state of disrepair and feel generally neglected. The on-site waterpark did not appear to be closed for the winter; instead, it looked as though it had never been used or properly maintained, reinforcing the impression that facilities are advertised but not genuinely operational. The food was a major disappointment. Much of it was served cold, and when it wasn’t cold, birds were frequently picking at uncovered food, raising hygiene concerns. The “snack” offering that was promoted did not, in reality, provide any snacks. The room also had issues. The fridge did not work, and the Wi-Fi dropped out regularly. Staff attitude made the stay particularly difficult. Asking basic questions often felt like an inconvenience, especially at reception, where interactions were consistently unwelcoming. I was also uncomfortable with what appeared to be unequal treatment of guests. In particular, Black guests seemed to be treated with noticeably less patience and respect by some staff members. An EasyJet representative scheduled a lobby meeting for 10am and did not attend. We attempted several times to contact the representative (Ta Ha) through different avenues, without success. What made this more frustrating was that the reception manager confirmed he had the representative’s phone number but refused to contact him on our behalf. I stayed from 17th–21st January 2026. Sadly, the best part of this trip was the time spent away from the hotel itself. I would not return or recommend this resort.

There are 6 reviews on this site all dated 13th January all giving five stars and all by an individual who has given only the one review. 5 of them name the manager and how good he is. I cannot pronounce his name let alone spell it yet somehow they all got it right. Make of that what you will. The hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment works. The main pool is closed. The aqua Park is closed. The terrace is closed and has been dug up for the floor to be replaced so limited places to sit and relax without construction noise. We were not notified of these works and have complained to Jet2 who offered to move us to the sister hotel across the road. However that is undergoing a major refurbishment so there was no point. Having said all the above we do find the staff here to be extremely friendly especially if you tip.them. Our room is spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfy and you do get a good night's sleep. There is a language barrier but that is to be expected when in a foreign country. I can never understand why bits abroad take homeage when staff don't understand English. Maybe we should learn the native tongue or stay at home in rainy blackpool. The food is mainly Moroccan but there is plenty of choice and you will always find something to eat. It is occasionally luke warm but there are microwaves to warm it up. In short the food and beverages are no better or worse than any other all inclusive and trust me weve been to loads. Apart from the building works we enjoy this hotel and its surroundings and the works have to be done at some point. All in all I think it is very good value for money.

We had the most AMAZING stay at this resort and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The food was absolutely lovely with so much choice and everything tasted fantastic. The entertainment team Pika, Joe were outstanding, full of energy, fun, and enthusiasm, they truly made the holiday special and kept everyone smiling from morning until night. The bar staff were incredible too, always happy, friendly, and serving drinks quickly with a great attitude. Management were so lovely and welcoming, you could really see how much they cared about the guests and the overall experience. There were so many brilliant activities around the resort, always something fun to do and everything was so well organised. An unforgettable stay at an amazing resort. We would 100% return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect holiday! 🌞🍹🌴

Our stay at Valeria Madina Club Resort was truly wonderful. The resort is beautiful, well maintained and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped, and all common areas were kept spotless. What really made the experience special was the staff – everyone was extremely kind, helpful and always smiling, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. It is a place we would happily return to and definitely recommend to others.

First time here, room lovely, very spacious and clean, shower amazing, maid lovely, only downside, could have done with a kettle, would of preffered a balcony we had a terrace not very private, we were in block 2 but it could do with better lighting as it was very dark. Staff were all lovely and polite, main bar could do with more staff in evening and kept running out of glasses, drinks were good. Main restarant very large, clean and always tidy, food was lovely, cakes were amazing, lovely staff. Grounds were well kept was lovely to see the peacocks and peahens. Swimming pools were lovely but weather not in our favour. We used a few spa facilities but feel this should have been free due to out of season. Entertainments team were good but mostly spoken in french so we couldent understand. We went to the late discoteque very dissapointing no english music at all the disco music was better in main building. On day of leaving we were supprised the maid was cleaning our room as we had paid extra to keep on, we tried to explain but due to languge barrier this was difficult, we then had a phone call from a lady in main building telling us we needed to vacate our room and we owed money after my friend tried to explain we had paid and to check our booking she very rudely put the phone down, then we had our room opened by another guest who was checked into our room, we then left went to reception, my friend spoke to the manager who appologised and offered us our room back however we decided not to as we didnt want to cause more upset for the maid or the guest who had just arrived, although we got an appology we should have recieved 1 from the incompetent lady who caused the issue by being unprofesional and not looking at our booking form, she made 4 people very uncomfortable and had no manners at all.

After reading reviews before hand myself, I thought id write my own hopefully it will be useful. First off, we really recommend choosing your seats, easy jet leg room is restricted, if you can pay extra for some room. Seats 16, 17 and 18 are usually over the wings so no view if that's your thing. Private transfers are usually worth it unless you want to travel to different hotels first. Little extras make the whole experience slightly more enjoyable. We stayed new years eve for a week, December/early January weather was pleasant during the day, swim shorts in the sun but very cold at night, fleece and jumpers were very welcome. There is heating in the room. The staff are riendly staff are polite and attending all needs (except decaf tea and milk alternatives but, its morroco make do eith what you can!) The airport is scarier than England, be prepared to see guns! And if you smoke tobbacco, this is your last chance to buy rolling tobacco as it is NOWHERE else in morroco that we could find! Tailored made cigarettes are plentiful and easy to find about £5 a pack. Vapes are pricey. Say 'Sa lamb' as hello and 'Shoe Kran' as thank you they will be very greatful and it shows respect 🙏 I tipped one bar lady on my first night and she made sure I was looked after the rest of my stay It is remote. But we looked on a map and chose this on purpose, it feels safe like an oasis. Cctv every where, not like some hotels ive stayed in before where you dont know who can walk in etc. There are regular buses to and from to marrakech at around £3.50 each, we discovered uber is a thing out here too, but we waved down a taxi and he was so lovely. Very fairly priced, about 8 quid for a 30 min journey. We had to use the on site doctor that comes at a charge but they were all lovely and couldn't do enough. So caring and kind. I loved the food, as a veggie theres lots of vegetable options. For some reason theres turkey in the vegetarian section so be careful. There are sparrows and peacocks and cats. I saw some reviews moaning about this but as a nature lover I thought they were delightful. Its near Africa, don't expect everything to be animal free! Go to the poolside little snack bar for drinks during the day theres less of a queue. You can also get chips to order here which are nice. This is chargeable after 10pm. Unlike other all inclusives, there is limited food between designated breakfast lunch and dinner which i found a bit of a bummer. Tip for ladies, if you need to use the pool side loo, the light goes out within a few seconds so u have to wave ur arms around whilst u pee! Which is funny but seems mad The hammam Massage is 450 (just under 40 quid, may seem expensive but cheaper than in England and absolutely wonderful. The wines are great, I like a white wine and got my monies worth for all inclusive. My partner says the beer was nice, on tap its light beer. In bottles around 4 or 5% I must admit I was sad to see thr cost of a sauna, I usually only do 6 or 7 mins, you have to pay 100 Durham (about 8 quid ) for half hour which I wouldn't have done. And an extra 8 quid to use the in door pool for an hour. Seems mighty pricey. Yes there are broken tiles, and things do look dated, and the people predominantly speak french, but its morroco! Just enjoy the country and the culture. Some staff speak English, but try to learn the basics of their language before you go. We booked a desert buggy ride, it cost 20 quid and includes dinner. We really enjoyed it but there was alot of waiting around so be prepared. Still a bargain at 20 pp. Going home there are power points to charge your phones etc at the airport if youre lucky to get a seat, which were plentiful in January. A fab holiday for the price, I'd go again!

We booked all inclusive for a short winter break at the Valeria Madina Club Resort and had a very enjoyable stay. From arrival, the staff were very helpful. We were kindly escorted to our room with our luggage and shown key facilities. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and spacious, ours had a super king bed and sofa bed option. It was very clean and the bathroom was adequate with a good shower. Food and drink options throughout the restaurants and bars are good. The food was extremely good in the main buffet restaurant. All meals were of a high standard offering local cuisine and continental European options. Some highlights were the range of detox waters at breakfast and the range of soups, vegetables, rices and salads at lunches and dinners, to accompany a variety of beef, turkey and chicken options. The tagines and vegetables were a highlight for me. The main pool and that at Mango is nice, and the surrounding grounds are lovely with olive trees, fruit trees and peacocks freely roaming the grounds. The hotel has a small gym which was more than adequate and spa facilities. We had a fantastic stay, this was great value for money, and especially found the hotel / guest experience manager, Zoher, to be very helpful with recommendations, organising late checkout and assisting us with our needs. Would recommend this hotel for a trip to Marrakech to offer a little peace and tranquillity just a short trip away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Excellent resort. Food is brilliant and there is something for everyone.the rooms spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are great size and the showers were great, really hot with good pressure if that's what you like. The bar is great, if you're all inclusive you will have a great selection of cocktails, beers, spirits, and soft drinks too. Oher the hotel manager printed our boarding passes on our last day when the airport could not take the mobile ones. Saved us in a moment of stress!

We booked a 5 night stay over new year's eve. I'm still very confused about much of what is going on at this hotel. The arrival and check in was easy and we were taken to our room on a golf buggy and the driver carried our bags to the room - luckily we had money to tip (UK, euro and Moroccan money are all fine). Breakfast is very much about croissants and pain au chocolate with some cereals and an outdoor egg station. No toast though. The other meals are really really all over the place. The best option is the meat sliced in front of you with roast potatoes. The salad bar was good but disappeared on new year's eve and replaced by cakes - I'm not into sweet stuff so this was disappointing. One evening there were no cakes at all and it was just biscuits which I thought was an odd decision. The cakes I did eat were lovely though. The bar is all over the place. As someone else has said, find the female servers, they are much more efficient and more generous. There is a cocktail menu with alcoholic and non alcoholic options but weirdly some staff wouldn't add alcohol to mocktails while others would. It's all inclusive so I don't see why it matters to the staff that refused to do this. Still no idea what was going on with the entertainment. There was a kid disco. Some singing and dancing with the French then nothing else really. Again we have no idea if the entertainment was held elsewhere. New years eve. Oh my god what a s**t show. The itinerary stated cocktails at 7pm: we had to wait for the manager to give a speech (fair enough) then we had to wait while the animation team did some drumming and even then I be was told no when they had finished at I just grabbed some and walked off. There was a Queen tribute for entertainment but we never saw it as apparently this was in the theatre but no one told us that was the case. The all inclusive ends at 11pm which we knew but figured on new years eve this would be extended. Nope. There was meant to be a champagne fountain . . . No idea what happened to that. All we could get from the paid bar was tequila as they had run out of everything. So we saw in midnight and went to bed. Very disappointed. Plenty of spaces round the pool and towels were there for a deposit. The heated pool was a bonus. The rooms were cleaned daily and we were happy with the room. Basic but adequate. There is a shuttle bus into the souks for a minimal cost. I don't regret going but I wouldn't return

We booked a 4 night stay at this hotel over the new year period with trepidation after reading the reviews, after we booked🫣 , and unfortunately most of them are correct. The best days of the hotel are behind it and some areas are really in need of some TLC. Food Food options are mostly morrocon/french based as you'd expect and are a bit samey. If you only have a British palate you'll be disappointed. Get there early while it's still all hot is my advice. Room. Or room in block 9 was reasonably clean but dated. Safe was available at extra cost. Sound proofing was at a premium and would be a problem in the height of season. Pools. Numerous pools around the complex, one even heated. Plenty of sunbeds around free to use. The nicest pool was around the Zen area, with double loungers with mattresses but this was mostly empty as you had to buy drinks at the pool bar. Staff. On the whole most of the staff were helpful and hardworking and we found the female staff more helpful than the male. It is a benefit if you speak French as you were on occasions overlooked for not. Location. The resort is miles from anywhere and you need a taxi to get anywhere. Plenty of taxis available near the front gate. Main bar. 🤬All inclusive is limited at best and over the 4 nights we were there the ran out of Vodka, gin and lager and even on one night all 3. The resort was far from full but there seemed to be a constant shortage of glasses with staff having to wash glasses by hand to serve you. Even getting served beer in a wine glass on one occasion. All inclusive end at 11pm prompt even on NYE meaning we had to queue for 30 mins at a tiny stall with one server to buy 4 bottles of lager for £22 ... The resort is badged as 4star but it is far from that by European standards. The resort is dated and tired in parts and is also let down by poor rules around food and drink which does nothing to heighten the guest experience. Would I stay here again. Absolutely not.

Me and my partner stayed her for a few days over new years eve and having waited a good year for this holiday we was so looking forward to this getaway but we was very disappointed. When we arrived we had to walk up to the hotel which werent far but the buses that had french people on would drop off straight outside the hotel! The staff that met us and welcomed us were lovely, once booked in we was just pointed to our hotel room. Which was hard as signage isnt great at all. Got to the right place and there is no lifts and we was on the top floor and my partner had to carry the suitcases up so beware! The room we had was clean but it was tiny, it didnt have a kettle which was annoying but you could rent one! The safe you was also charged to use, everything her is chargeable even though your all inclusive! We got there round 1pm so we went to find food and again you didnt know where to go and no one was helpful unless you tipped them or you was french. The food on pics looks amazing but its so bland and i am not a picky eater but struggled to eat, The staff was so slow topping food up and clearing tables! They turned the hot drinks off through the day after breakfast and i asked if could turn on and said no but a french lady walked up and they turned it on for her! As soon as they knew you was english they wouldnt help you unless you tipped them! One lunch time i walked into thr main hall and told to get out as not open but a french family were sat outside with salad on there plates which is only served from the main hall. A second later a french man walks past me and he is greeted and they opened the doors for him! Honestly this hotel is racist! In the evening for drinks at the bar you could be first but they would serve the french before you! I tried to get a drink inside and was told only serving outside go out and again french went to the inside bar and was served! Wouldnt waste your time in the spa went for a massage for 30mins and only recieved 20mins! I went as a couple and the two people massaging was talking to one another even though it was relaxition massage! The gym is none existing and thats the only reason we booked this one! Swimming pools looked dirty and you would get legionella from them! They stop serving any drinks by 11pm and start charging you, again we booked all incluisve! Worst hotel i have ever stayed in, staff rude and its not that clean this aint 4 star!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Although the hotel is a little dated in places, it is kept clean and well maintained, which made it comfortable during our stay. The weather meant we couldn’t enjoy all the facilities, but the heated pool was very welcome. The food can be repetitive, like all all inclusives, but it was well made, and delicious and the desserts were the best of any resort I’ve been to. The highlight was the staff, friendly, welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay special. Special thanks to Oussama and Omar in the dining hall. The animation team, They never stop working. We were lucky enough to be here for the New Year celebration, which was amazing - well organised and fantastic atmosphere. A celebration to remember, thank you.

We stayed here for a week over Christmas. We were worried having read some bad reviews but have been left wondering if the people writing these reviews stayed at the same place as us as we loved our time at Valeria Madina! From the moment we arrived everyone was very friendly. We found the food to be very good and varied. The fresh pizzas and chips were a big hit at lunch time and we especially enjoyed the many tagines, cous cous and meats on offer. The deserts on offer were out of this world and beautifully presented. We had no problems with drinks running out as other people have reported and the wine was of very good quality. Cocktails were ok and the Moroccan tea was tasty. The ladies working in the main bar were all very friendly and mixed good drinks. The manager and guest relations manager are very visible here and go to a lot of effort to please people. The Christmas events were wonderful and the Christmas Eve Gala dinner was outstanding. The restaurant team did an amazing job. We loved seeing Santa arrive by camel and the cocktail party was a nice touch. The entertainment team also worked very hard to keep everyone entertained although some do not seem to speak much English and spent most of their time with the French guests. We found Pika to be a really cool guy and he went out of his way to speak to us often and joined us for a game of cards. It is true that the French guest by far out weigh the English. Whilst this didn't bother us too much to start with, by the end of the holiday we did start to feel a little left out as not everything was translated to English and we did witness them getting some preferential treatment at times and I think we also missed out on some things that were going on as we didn't know about them. The resident singer is good and a nice touch before dinner but the songs did get a bit repetitive after a couple of days. We were quite unlucky with the weather but were able to use the main pool on the warmer days as it is heated to a nice temperature. The hotel grounds are lovely. Jet2 customers are able to have one free visit to the Mango a la carte restaurant. This was a set menu and the food and service was fabulous. Would definitely recommend a visit. The Jet2 rep was also very helpful and we saw him around the hotel numerous times and also the morning that we left which was good. Our room was in Riad 4 on the top floor. It was a good size and was perfectly fine for what we needed. The rooms are, however, Moroccan style and you are in Africa so do not expect 5 star luxury! There was heating in the room but we never used it as the room was warm enough for us. The only problem we did have was that there were 3 of us and we only had towels for 2. We asked multiple times for another large towel but never received one, it became a bit of a running joke for us wondering if the extra towel would ever appear! We managed though. On the whole we had a really great week here and for what we had paid the value for money was amazing. Holidays are what you make of them and I think some people just love to moan! Please remember 'This is Africa'! We would definitely return here.

My stay at this hotel was rather disappointing for the following reasons: Hotel had a black out, no one came to inform us as to what had happen, bad communucation For some reason towels were never replaced, room cleaners would take the old dirty ones and not leave any fresh new ones Air condition system was not good, it took almost two days for our room to heat up and we were only there for 3 nights We had a four month old baby and although we informed the hotel of this they did not act accordingly so in the end we had to wash the baby in the bathroom basin, we had to share the same bed with the baby - to make it worse the basin stopper was broken so we had to use toilet paper to block the sink Carry cash to this hotel, the ATM at the hotel was not working so we did not have access to a lot of things requiring cash such as swimming towels, the shuttle to Marrakech also No kettle in the rooms, you need to go down to reception for that and cash deposit 30euros is required No kettle also means no morning coffee, I advise that you carry your own coffee unless you are prepared to head up to the restaurant each time to ask for coffee/tea All inclusive is only up to 11pm, after that you have to pay - this includes the bar, so you need to drink as much as you can up to 11 or else you have to pay after that On the good side however the staff where friendly, really made every effort to make our stay worthwhile. Having said that I will not be visiting this place again

From the moment we arrived it was awful. Shown to a dirty room at 10:30pm, and took till midnight (with a lot of complaining) to get a new one. There are a myriad of issues from dirty pool, lack of towels when you want to shower, hotel offering talks that weren’t available and rude staff as well as horrible guests. Buffet was lack lustre, empty if you arrived even 30 mins into the 2 hour opening and the other guests push through. There is no semblance of queuing or even general politeness. All inclusive means up to 11pm! Not sure about anyone else but that’s not all inclusive to me. If you go to the late breakfast the food was stale and inedible. If you wanted something simple like cereal there were no bowls, spoons or milk. Our hotel room door one day wasn’t closed by the cleaner so anyone could have entered our room. Summary: if you are a British person this is not the hotel for you. The British all had complaints similar to mine it is not up to the standards we expect from a holiday.

Hotel is quite big and has four pools. Outside area has peacocks roaming around and lovely gardens. Room was spacious but could do with an upgrade, beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Food was hit and miss, it was not very hot but had a microwave to heat it up. Staff expect a tip as soon as you arrive and everyday if you want decent drinks and service.

The staff are the main issue here. Especially in the dining room. The food is mediocre at best. There are dozens of little birds throughout the dining area and over the food. And the staff seem oblivious to them as well as the customers. No effort to remove birds or show any courtesy to the customer. Not so much as a smile from any of them. Wouldn't recommend.

We have spent a week here taking time out before Christmas & had a good time. The entertainment team were very good especially Speed who came & chatted to us & kept us informed of what was on. We played Pétanque, swam in the heated pool & enjoyed the evening entertainment the team put on. Food was good with lots of variety & so was the wine at dinner.

Had a great time at the hotel. Was a winter break, during a cold spell, so was a bit cold in the main building. Our rooms were warm and cosy. All staff were very friendly, particularly Speed from the entertainment team who spent time chatting to us and telling us about Morocco.

On our arrival we soon noticed the hotel did not look like the pictures. We were informed that the pictures on Jet2 were of when the hotel was being renovated (which has not been done yet). We had a fair few issues with our rooms but on the overall trip, the entertainment staff especially Pika, Speed and Joe we were well looked after. The food is basic and the lack of drinks were disappointing but it was okay for a cheap trip.

Had a fabulous week's holiday with my partner at this hotel. The room was sufficient and a decent size. Maid service is a little disappointing. Lovely grounds & heated main pool. Plenty of choice of food, but let down by birds flying around and landing on the salad bar. Shop in the hotel is horrendously overpriced. Hotel Staff are friendly & attentive. Absolutely nothing outside the hotel complex for miles. Hotel shuttle bus is excellent to get to the Madina in Marrakesh, but there is a charge for this. Overall we had a good holiday & met some lovely people.

STRONGLY ADVISE DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT. We just got back from a long weekend at this hotel. It was a birthday trip. From the get go the hotel staff was very unwelcoming. After checking in and was giving our room keys we didn't even get walked to our rooms as its quite a big resort we had to ask if they could show us where to go. The security guard was the one who was asked and you could tell by his face he didn't want to show us however he did but left us half way and just pointed where we should go. Got into the room it was freezing. As the AC/heating wasn't working. The following day we asked if they could fix it. That turned into 2 days of us waiting for it to be fixed. 2 days in and as your aware it's got in the mornings in Marrakech in December so I had my brand new tracksuit on that morning. Chilling by the pool and about 1pm I decided to go to the room and get changed which I did. My cousin was in the room so I asked her to help me get changed left my tracksuit on the bed. Come back later in the evening my hoodie had gone. I didnt expect stolen I just assumed the cleaner maybe picked it up as she was changing the sheets by mistake. Asked reception to look on the Friday. They said they will have to speak with the laundry people tomorrow which I thought was fine. Saturdays came i went back to reception as no one had come to me they stated the same reply waiting for the laundry people. This happened for 3 days. Baring in mind the cleaners are on site everyday. Within this time I did ask the cleaner she came into the room and drew the bed out the draws out as she was doing this I was telling her I've already looked but she was ignoring me. Back to the heating situation we managed to get moved room after day 3 one of the reasons why we moved is because the doorframe fell off onto someone's head who we was travelling with. The frame was wooden with nails sticking out I will attach pictures after. We took the plank of wood straight to reception not ONE apology they just took the wood from us. And called for management. I forgot to add that we asked to speak with management prior to this and the security guard who walked us half way to our rooms on day one was the same person who told us there is no management on the resort. Which was a lie clearly as after the door frame fell off the manager made an appearance his name is Ahmed. He came across as nice in the beginning but soon realised he was all talk and no action. Like his co worker Zohair. Zohair decided to inform me on the last day that they was until to find my stolen item and their sorry. The last day on the resort there was no water. So you could not shower or flush the toilets. The was poo and sick in the toilets by the pool which was cleaned all day. Overall the hotel staff was rude full of attitude theirs and didn't follow through with and issues raised unless we continously chased them. There was some very nice staff though. Yusef/Joe, Speed, Walid, Alima and Abdelghani. I cant thank you guys enough. To Ahmed and Zohair. Your both patronising and calculated individuals. No wonder your staff act the way they do with both you in charge. The hotel needs shutting down refurbishing and considering with a whole set of new staff. Also can I add when we needed assistance there was never no one on front desk we always had to wait for someone. It was always the same security guard there. One night when we went to complain about the heating he was busy flirting with another guest and told us to wait until his finished. I have so much to say about this place but this was just a few things we experienced. Not all drinks and all inclusive. They only have vodka gin and whiskey no other alcoholic drinks. The foods always cold so they have microwaves for you to heat up your food. They have birds flying around the restaurant whilst your trying to eat. Dogs cats and peacocks on site too.

From the UK Having just returned from the Valeria Medina Club resort, our experience was mixed. + The pool and surrounding area is nice and sunbeds are comfortable and in good condition. + The gardens are beautiful and extensive with Peahens and Peacocks roaming freely, so relaxing. + The general areas are very clean and well managed. + The staff are attentive and friendly, although there is a language barrier as most speak French and not English. + Reception staff are helpful, but lack continuity with information, this I would say is a training issue. + The food is good quality, - although food is of limited choice and repetitive. - Unfortunately a number of people suffered food poisoning/very upset stomachs, including myself, generally speaking food is not hot in the main restaurant, but warm. Microwaves are available for use. - Our cards wouldn't work in the ATM, between us we had five different cards, but a no go from all of them. No exchange at reception. - The rooms do not include a tea/coffee tray, although it is stated on their website as included in the rooms. This is due to kettle theft apparently, but it won't be from the Brits, as we all have one plus the plug won't fit our sockets! - No alternative to none dairy milk - The activity evening room, is not ideal, as everything is happening at once. The resident singer is performing whilst the football is on behind her, too many lights on making it glary and uncomfortable. Sofas all in different directions, so not easy to watch the singer or other entertainment. - It was observed that the bailey bottles that there is an extra charge for, were being 'topped up' with the local brew! 🤔 - Watch the photographer, he has a charging issue, one price when order and a much inflated price on collection! I hope this review is useful to future travellers and to hotel management to up their game, if they wish.

The hotel room was amazing and the staff are really friendly. there's 4 different pools but you can also use the facilities in other hotel. However the food is very bad and the chicken was pink! if you i recommend staying away from meat and if you go on any trips outside of the hotel dont book through reception because you can find deals a lot cheaper online for the same thing.

We really had a lovely time here, food always nice and big variety the wine n beer was good too. No queues at all. Pools were cold but this was dec. The entertainment staff were absolutely amazing, what a credit to the hotel they all are. Just wish they spoke better English but they did try. Spa was a nice touch for a relaxing day. Rooms are dated but functional and cleaned every day, they do need updating though. Our cleaner was marvellous always smiled n said hello. Not once did we find any staff member rude or un polite. I will say the shop on site is way over priced so dont forget anything unless u plan a trip into Marrakesh for stuff, you can book the minibus for this. Please dont be put off by the moaning Karen's this hotel is fine you get wot u pay for, in no way is it horrendous as some av stated! Just go and enjoy you stay

We stayed for a week and had an amazing experience. As a Nepali guest with a friend from Kenya, we both enjoyed the wide variety of food that suited our different tastes. The buffet was excellent and always satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Oussama, who served us every evening, was always smiling and very professional. It truly felt like coming home after our excursions. A big thank you to Speed and the entertainment team for making my friend’s birthday so special. From reception to pool staff and the nightclub team, everyone was fantastic. There was always food, snacks, and drinks available—we never went hungry, even after hours of ping pong!

This hotel is beautiful and has the potential to be 5 star, that’s if the staff actually did their job. Upon arrival we were left with no direction to our room. After travelling for hours this was awful! There was no money to exchange behind the front desk as the man was on the sick, so we were stuck. The food was questionable after seeing a cockroaches running into the kitchen. Very much a Moroccan menu if to your taste. International food was very limited. However the waiters and waitresses should be give credit they were pleasant and worked hard. The room was lovely and very clean, but the noise from drunken guests was awful. Reference to the all inclusive- it wasn’t worth paying for to be honest. No kettle in the room for coffee and tea, no tv.

Went to Valeria madina in early November, in all honesty I wasnt expecting a great deal from the trip having read the earlier reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel and grounds were clean with several staff tending the grounds most of the day. The food was great, varied and plentiful with several options available every day from breakfast through to the evening meal, our waiter Jamal, deserves special mention, always smiling and very helpful. The quiet pool near the water park was amazing and very very quiet and serene. The waterpark was spotless and there were no queues. Some previous guests complained about the small birds flying round the dining area and flies near the food, not ideal admittedly but you are in North Africa, so expect something a little different from home. The hotel itself is relatively isolated, you needed a taxi if you wanted to venture away from the hotel. Marrakech itself is what you would expect, a bustling, sometimes chaotic and vibrant city but so diverse and with wonderful culture. Be prepared, it is not like the shopping experience at home, just be careful, sensible and respectful and all will be fine. Yes most of the entertainment is in French but they tried hard most nights to involve the Brits and other nationalities . I would go back which is exactly what the good lady wife said.

L emplacement

Tolle Schaumpartys. Alles hatte Niveau. Vor allem auch sehr kinderfreundlich. Angenehme Gäste. Tolle Abendunterhaltung. Genügend Liegen am Pool. Anlage wird sehr sauber gehalten. Wir waren wirklich äußerst zufrieden.

I just wanted to start this review by saying that I choose this hotel due to an incredibly good package deal (easyJet holidays) with excellent value for money for 5 people during the first week of UK half term holiday. Did we have a good holiday. Yes. Do I regret booking it? No. Would I come back. Absolutely not. Would I recommend it to others. Yes, but only if you get a cheap deal and appreciate that some of the standards are 2 to 3 stars (a reflection of the cheap price point). It is still better value than what you would get on mainland Europe for example. And better guaranteed weather for October. Rooms Basic but ours were clean. 2 single beds pushed together and a separate single. Shower and sink in bathroom with separate toilet. Hairdryer in bathroom. Unlike some reviews out towels were definitely not changed daily (once I think in a week). And on the first day one of the 2 rooms didn't have any large towels (had to ask at reception) and when they were changed mid week not enough towels replaced. There is a daily cleaning service and you get a large bottle of water to the room daily (no kettle or hot drink facilities). There is is a fridge in the room. No actual wardrobe bit storage area with a rail and at least 10 hangers. Plenty drawers and other storage spaces. Outside balcony with table and 2 chairs was dusty (but we are near a desert). No issue with ants as in other reviews but we were on top floor. There is a safe in the room. Hire is 10dirhams a day. We stayed 8 days and got locked out after 7 (keys must have reset after a week). Got it reactivated at reception but then all valuable locked in safe as new key wouldn't work. A pain to get this sorted. Pools Central rectangular pool were most of activities and music plays. To additional shallow pools nearby (one with a volleyball net). Chilly but you get used to it. Plenty sunbeds nearby. Can usually grab beds at 9am around breakfast time. Many of beds in shade though if you are a sun worshipper. You can get towels from the hotel (100dirhams deposit for each). No actual hire charge. The water park is a short walk away (less than 5 mins). Probably 2 mins from where our room was. This has a main slide bit with 6 different slides (three with inflatable hoops to go down). At times not enough fully inflated hoops for all but queues not bad and my son and I went on them lots daily. There are 2 smaller pools with slides for smaller children. There is also a large circular pool which is nice and quiet. It's lovely there but only drawback is not having access to drinks/food here. I believe there is an adult only pool in Mango next door but we didn't go there and I think there is an additional daily charge for this. Entertainment The daytime "animation" team are enthusiastic and doing a good job. Some are only french speaking but most speak combos of Arabic, French and English. They do try to translate when possible and engage all groups of customers. The evening entertainment is definitely geared to locals/French clientelle. It's a shame because lots and lots of British customers seem| to be staying here so really should have more of a mix. To be honest we didn't even bother after a couple of evenings. In the day you can hire equipment from the animation box (table tennis, Petanque, basketballs, even board games like Scrabble). These are free. There are tennis courts which you may have to pay for. And we even noticed a Padel court being the waterpark. This was always full every time we walked by it. Food For me, this is the biggest issue. The food is not geared to the French. It is definitely mostly Moroccan based. Which is obviously fine because we are in Morocco. However (and I say this as a British born person from an Arab background), the standard and variety of food was very very poor. The meat in particular (esp lamb and beef) was of poor quality. The beef and turkey often dry and overcooked. I know that there is repetition on these buffets on holiday but this was excessive in comparison to any hotel I have stayed at over the years. If you have kids, they will be fine however with pizza, pasta, chips, burgers. I can't say my youngest kids are any worse than any other holiday. Myself and my wife did eat less than usual. At least we didn't put on weight like usual. One of the big issues I found was that if you didn't eat within the first 30 (or at a push 60) mins of the restaurant opening then they food was not replinished sufficiently. This was particularly the case for the desserts. Also, if you want to eat outside you need to be there at the start of dinner service too (which we only managed once in 8 days). Soft drinks were also an issue. You help yourself from a Pepsi/Mirinda machine. And for some reason you have paper cups for these. These often run out and not replenished and you have to go hunting yourself for glass cups to use. Sometimes the machines are "dry" and only dispense water. And they don't bother to top them up till the next day. They also sometimes don't switch on the hot drinks machines at lunch/dinner. Jese issues were not there the first couple of days we stayed. It's as if the hotel management didn't account for the additional people that French and UK half term would bring. Or they did but wanted to save money buly not bothering with extra supplies or food. I didn't enjoy breakfast as they make fresh Moroccan bread and there is an egg station. Negatively although the presence of large amounts of pastries look impressive many are often stale. Even worse was my wife finding a broken finger nail amongst the fresh grapefruit. She literally didn't eat any cut fruit for the rest of the holiday. Shame. Away from the 3 main meals, they provide "snacks" in one of the bars near the pool in between (left over pastries, fruit, yoghurt and you can order chips, sometimes nuggets. Between 4.30 and 5.30 they also do pizzas, pancakes and freshly fried doughnuts. I can definitely say I didn't go hungry on the holiday but it was by far the worst aspect of the holiday and very much reflective of the price paid. The staff in the restaurant work so hard. They just can't keep up. Wanted to mention a couple of other things. The hotel puts in a shuttle bus to the centre of town. You can book up to 2 days in advance. It's 20 dirhams each way (10 for up to 12 years of age). Of note if you want to grab a taxi you can walk to the main gate and there are sually a few waiting. It cost 150 dirhams each way. Some will ask for 200. Don't accept that. We went once in the day and once in the evening. Also suggest using apps like Get your guide if you want to do trips (cheaper than the hotel or with easyJet/Jet2) With regards to money, you have to pay tourist tax when you arrive (can be done with a credit card). I changed money at the airport when I arrived (cheaper than exchange rate in hotel). Also if you have money left over heep your exchange receipt and you can change it back on departure (prior to security). You can change small notes in the hotel reception if you need (on one occasion I tried the reception refused because they ran out of money and said I had to wait until the next day). No good to me as we were going into town. There is a cash machine in the hotel but it charges approx 10percent in fees. I used my Wise card to minimise further charges. So to finish (sorry for the ramble), we had a good holiday. The food was poor but the rest of the complex was nice. If I was coming back to Marrakech I'd definitely try to spend a little more money for somewhere nicer and with better food and perhaps being slightly closer to town. Having said that it was fine for the money we had available to set aside for this trip and was a better option than hotels for the evuivalent price elsewhere. Please keep an open mind if you are booking here and mind yourself if the "value" when you are here. If you don't come with massive expectations then you will have a good holiday.

I felt very unsafe Not professional at all Security asked for room number which they shouldn’t of Had no iron to iron clothes Room not clean Had loads of flys in the room that bite me Everyone was rude You should fire your security team for being perverts Room cleaners walked into room without knocking And randomly knocking on door at 8am in the morning Just a scary resort not for family and certainly not for friends to stay I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and never would I visit Marrakesh ever again

Extremely Disappointing Stay - We arrived at the hotel after a smooth flight, feeling excited to start our family holiday. Sadly, things went downhill almost immediately. At check-in, we were given only one room instead of two, despite our booking clearly showing two rooms for a family of four. The first room had just one double bed and a single sofa bed — completely unsuitable for us. We had to walk all the way back to reception with our luggage and two tired children to get the second room we had paid for. No one offered to help or apologise, and we were simply pointed in the direction of our rooms. When we asked about dinner, we were told the restaurant closed at 9:45 p.m., so we rushed there for food at 9:30pm. When we arrived, we were told no fresh food was available. Instead, we were given some very dry chicken and turkey that looked and tasted like it had been sitting there for days. It was inedible and disappointing. All other food had been taken away. The next morning, we tried to speak with the easyJet representative for advice, but he was more interested in selling excursions than providing information about the hotel. We also went to the 10:30 a.m. meeting that was advertised as a welcome and information session, but no one showed up. Several other families were waiting too, and when we asked reception, they had no idea what we were talking about — even though it was printed on the hotel’s own leaflet. The pool and waterpark area also had problems. We weren’t told how to get towels until we were sent back to reception to pay a deposit. Once at the waterpark, we found there were only four small blue floats and two large yellow ones for around 60/70 guests. People had to wait a long time for their turn. To make matters worse, the floats constantly deflated, and the lifeguard spent most of his time re-inflating them rather than supervising swimmers, which didn’t feel very safe. The figure-eight pool water was freezing cold, so we could barely use it. The restaurant was another major letdown. It was supposed to open at 7:00pm but food was never ready on time. The setup was chaotic and unhygienic — flies landing on food, dirty or chipped plates, and cutlery that often hadn’t been properly cleaned. The drink machines were surrounded by fruit flies and often didn’t work. The only positive was the bottled water, which was freely available. The food itself was repetitive and often cold. There was some variety, but nothing particularly appealing. Guests were told they could only have two slices of pizza per person, often queues of 15/20 people which felt stingy for an all-inclusive hotel. The “all-inclusive” bar stopped serving free drinks after 11 p.m., and anything premium had to be paid for separately. The entertainment was loud and very much geared toward French guests, with staff clearly prioritising them over others. The music by the main pool was blaring (so loud) from 10 a.m. onwards, making it difficult to relax. We even saw a man hand a waiter a packet of cigarettes and, in return, receive a premium bottle of whiskey — something we were told wasn’t available, we wanted a bottle of lemonade for four of us by the pool without having to worry about flies etc. The rooms were old, dark, and in need of maintenance. The TV barely worked, paint was peeling, and both rooms lost all water completely on our last day. The other room was full of flies, which frightened our daughter so much that she didn’t want to sleep there. The floors were dirty, and the outdoor pavements were uneven — our daughter tripped twice. The pillow had a pin in and stabbed me whilst I was sleeping. Both rooms had no sunshine and views were awful and flooded outside most days (asked at reception to change but they were fully booked). On departure day, we asked about luggage storage and were told to leave our bags in an open area by a fire exit — completely unsecured. The toilets were closed for 6 of the 7 days for males by the swimming pool and there were no private facilities to change clothes if you wanted to use the pool before leaving. When we asked for a late checkout, we were refused, even though the hotel was clearly half-empty.The cleaner was using a substance to clean the pool area and then sweeping the dirty water back into the pool. One thing worth noting: we did read the reviews before booking and were initially reassured by them. However, after speaking to some regular guests at the hotel, they informed us that the hotel had recently been taken over or placed under new management. According to them, the previous team had been very helpful, friendly, and organised — completely different from what we experienced. These returning guests told us they had stayed several times before but that this would be their last visit, as the standards had dropped dramatically under the new management. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing stay. The hotel is poorly managed, lacks basic hygiene, and offers very little in the way of service or care. The only positives were the bottled water and the occasional decent meal, but those are small comforts in an otherwise stressful experience. I would rate this hotel 3 out of 10 and would not recommend it to families or anyone expecting a proper all-inclusive resort. Save yourself the disappointment — this hotel simply isn’t worth it.

I have been here a week ( 28th oct 2025) with my friend and 5 children. 4 x Ages 12 and 1 x 17 year old. It has been a great week. The kids have loved it. The main pool was warm. Loads of sunbeds. Clean pool towels everyday. Reception helpful. Waiters very helpful. Entertainment was brilliant from morning to night. Lots of people around maintaining the resort and keeping it clean and tidy / maintaining grounds and gardens. Waterpark was brilliant, again kids loved it. Themed nights made it fun for the kids. Lots of choice for food. I have picking / fussy children and they found something to eat at every meal time. My kids would come back again. For what we paid I’m really happy. There are lots of things to do. Rooms were cleaned daily and beds made every day. The staff work hard. Rooms are dated but they clean and beds comfy. We didn’t spend any time in our room other than to sleep. Air con in rooms worked and we had a mini fridge. I don’t normal leave reviews but I feel this is justified. I have no complaints. Thank you Valeria Madina

After reading the reviews I was concerned about going but was impressed. Our room was spacious and clean with fresh towels large and had hand towels given each day. Cleaners came in everyday and did a good job. The food was great on the first night I was worried about eating after reading the previous reviews but the food was fantastic. I’m a fussy eater and actually found there was lots of choice. The pizzas were amazing as cooked fresh in a pizza oven. At meal times you’re given wine which I can highly recommend and water too. The waiters are always busy and will help you in any way. The pools were cold when you first got in but fine after that and was expected as it was October/november. Plenty of sunbeds and no sunbed wars. Water park was great fun and only a short walk from the main area. My husband struggled with walking and found it was fine in distance and a flat route too. We ate at mango while there and paid for vip package which was so worth it. We had a massage, 3 course meal and comfy sunbed and towels. The whole complex is set up for wheelchair users and buggies as lots of ramps and flat surfaces. Overall I would definitely come back.

My wife was very apprehensive after reading the reviews for the Medina hotel (after we had already booked our stay). However for the most part we had a thoroughly nice time, the food was fantastic, there are multiple pools to choose from depending on whether you want a quiet relax or a more music filled time, the pools are freshwater so I think like we were most people would find them on the cold side, however as the sun is typically always out it didn't really bother us. The resort is aimed more at the French guests, however we found there were almost as many English people staying so you didn't feel out of place. The entertainment was in French, however they do a family type Disco after Dinner each day and they play mostly the same songs so you just have to copy as the dancers demonstrate and you soon pick them up. The room was more than ideal for us, I didn't think the AC system worked very well but other than that the room was quiet and had everything we needed. My main gripe would be the reception staff, they're not particularly helpful with any requests, also there was no direction when we arrived as to: where things are, what time things start, you sort of just had to work it out for yourself. Overall we enjoyed our stay, so as myself and other English guests there at the time said don't read too much into the reviews.

This is our second time here this year, and the expectations have been exceeded. Joe in particular was amazing. He was so lovely and really got everyone involved in the different games that they have daily. Nothing was too much effort for him and everything was done with a smile on his face. Maybe we’ll be back for the third time soon 🥰

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that hygiene and maintenance are not priorities here. There are flies everywhere including around and inside the food and the staff don’t seem to care at all. If you’re even slightly concerned about cleanliness or hygiene, this hotel is not for you. When we arrived at 12pm, which was the time stated on our booking, we were told our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm. They then charged us £30 in “tax” on arrival and told us to leave our bags outside the front door where anyone could have taken them. No secure luggage room, no offer of help just “leave them there and come back at 3”. What a joke. The rooms are worn down, poorly maintained, and far from what you’d expect for the price. Most of the staff are rude and unhelpful, and 95% barely speak any English. It quickly became clear that this hotel mainly caters to French tourists even the entertainment is almost entirely in French, leaving English speakers excluded. There are broken light fixtures with wires hanging out right in the pool and smashed pool tiles where children play it’s genuinely unsafe. The bar is extremely basic, with only a few drinks included in the “all inclusive” package. With a 2 drink per person policy, If you want a decent cocktail like a Pina Colada, you’ll have to pay extra. Some stewards even try to charge you for bringing drinks to your table, which is ridiculous for an all-inclusive resort. Overall, this hotel is run-down, unsafe, and not welcoming to English guests. I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt and like to give places a fair chance, but this time, I really wish I’d listened. Save your money, do your research, and go somewhere that actually cares about guest safety and treats all visitors equally.

Room needs a lot of repairs and upgrades, bar service on an evening is painfully slow and as an all inclusive the food options are lacking. On a positive the pool areas are good and they have good facilities in tennis, football, volleyball. The hotel is very geared towards the French also. Good location for excursions

Stayed for 5 nights end of October 2025; 1 adult and 1 older teenager. Just to say we are frequent visitors to Morocco, especially Marrakech. Good points: • Check-in was easy and the lady was polite and courteous. Her English was excellent. We had to wait until 3 pm for the room but this is standard so we had prepared for this. • Room, although 'shabby Chique' in style (could do with modernising a little!) was pretty big for the both of us. It was clean and the maid did an excellent job of it each day. Beds always made, fresh towels etc. •Reception staff are very nice. We had an issue with a power cut on day 2. Reported to Reception and was resolved within 30 minutes. • Gardens and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. We wandered around them on day 1 and enjoyed our walk looking at the flowers and Peacocks. • mango pool was lovely and glad to get a bit of luxury. Negatives. • The restaurant was like a cattle market. Kids running all over the place, people picking up food with their hands and putting it back down and shoving and pushing in front. •lack of cutlery, glasses and coffee cups. Standing joke that we would do the gauntlet to find some through the hordes of people rushing around. Although Yassine in the restaurant (to the far left as you walk through) always rescued me !! Lovely guy! • Main bar. Not enough staff and too small. Long lines of people waiting, drinks given in tiny cups and glasses dirty if you're given one. Waited 20 minutes to get served one day so we decided to skip the evenings as you can't get served! • Shame no bar near the water park. It's a 10-minute walk back to get a drink!! Bring a Stanley flask. •big groups of families taking over the place, this just not for us. The pool was like Butlins in the sun, loud and drunk parents. Big no from me! In summary; this hotel has such potential and the staff clearly work hard. It is cheaper than some hotels but thats why it attracts some of the guests who visit just for sun and alcohol rather than the cultural experience Morocco and Marrakech has. I'd recommend spending some cash to revamp the hotel, more restaurant and bar staff, and put your prices up to attract a different clientele! Right now, the only way we'd stay here again is either the revamp or a super cheap deal. Real shame as we love Marrakech so much (4th visit) just this lacks a little right now. Id say to British guests; if you like Benidorm and Butlins you'd like it here. If, like us, you prefer culture, book the Iberostar or Riu which is a 10 minutes down the road!!

Just back from a week here with my husband and 11-year-old. I’d notified the hotel about my husband’s leg injury, and they kindly gave us a ground-floor room in block 300 — perfect. A little dated maybe but the air con worked fine, the room was clean, beds comfy, and cleaning staff were excellent, always returning later if we were in. No ants (we made sure no sweet stuff was left out). Most staff were friendly and helpful — special mention to Fati (the smiley one!), Ibitissam, Halima, Walid, and Ousama behind the bar. Only one bar lady seemed miserable. Tip: grab the larger Pepsi cups near the coffee machines at lunchtime for more beer, or stay near the bar for proper glasses and ask for 2 at a time. Learn “thank you” in Arabic — it goes a long way. Staff speak English, French, and Arabic, and we saw no preference for French guests. Be polite — rude guests will get worse service! If you get horrible service it’s probably your own fault. If you’re one of life’s moaners, pay more and go elsewhere. Food was plentiful, though a little repetitive after several days. Fresh pizza, chips, and pasta were popular with our son. Birds and flies were around but manageable in my opinion; dig into the salad and cold food for the fresher stuff. Pools were lovely but had some trip hazards — improvements are planned apparently. Entertainment was energetic and fun (Speed deserves a mention!). Mostly in French with broken English translations. If that bothers you, this isn’t your place. Not everyone speaks English but they do try to include everyone. The water park is dated but great fun; just keep an eye on your kids as health & safety isn’t what it is at home. Book the Medina bus a day or so early — it fills fast. We’d happily return in October or later. The summer would be too hot for me. Excellent value with EasyJet — if you expect UK 4-star standards, pay more & go elsewhere.

There was always a big selection of food but these are repetitive!! Bar staff were fantastic and always made sure you were served as quick as possible. Now for the best bit…. Entertainment team! These guys are incredible, they really work hard and do all they can to keep everyone happy. I must give a huge shout out to Joe.. he really is the best, he is always happy to help and translate, he gets you involved and his presence is very much enjoyable. My daughter (25) and I (56) had a week here 12-19th October. We were looking forward to a nice week in the sun together. My daughter had been to Marrakech the year before on a city break weekend so thought it would be nice for us both. I chose this hotel after reading "quite" good reviews. My opinion, and it's just MY opinion, is this. This hotel is NOT a 4* hotel! We arrived at about 12.30pm on the Sunday and were told to leave our cases outside reception and return at 3pm for check in. We made our way to the restaurant for lunch, so this was our first taste of the food, hygiene etc. The food itself did look nice and varied. I am not a fussy eater would gladly eat the Moroccan cuisine, however my stomach turned when I saw that the restaurant was full of flies and little birds who were happy to land on the food. At the salad bar the birds were sitting on the cucumber bowl pecking at it. This so so unhygienic yet the staff didn't seem to notice or even care. One good thing, if you ask for wine the waiter will bring you a small bottle, enough for two glasses, which was fine. You are also given a bottle of water at every meal. After check in a porter took us to our room, which was very dated. Cracked tiles, dirty curtains and a bit of a musty smell. We unpacked and made our way to the pool to cool down. The main pool is very VERY loud, which is great if you like that sort of thing, but we prefer things a bit quieter so moved to the next pool by the restaurant. There were plenty of sunbeds to go round so that was never a problem. The activities and noise around the larger pool go on all day and the noise can still be heard from the quieter pool. I can't even count how many times I heard Celine Dion and Ed Sheeran on repeat! Drinks from the pool bar are served in small paper cups!! We went for dinner on the first evening and there were still loads of flies, wasps and birds in there, so we didn't eat there again. The snack bar by the restaurant has a pizza oven so we ate pizza most of the week because at least it was fresh and didn't have a chance to have flies landing on it. The entertainment is all in French and is also very loud. Drinks in the evening are served in glass tumblers however not once did we get a clean one so we didn't drink there again! The bar area also has the flies and wasps all around as they attracted to the sweet syrupy drinks. We spent the evenings on our balcony listening to music and reading, eating Pringles which we bought from the onsite shop for 5 euros, drinking our own duty free vodka which we brought with us. There is the Mango Zen adults only pool which is chargeable and is well worth the money. For a whole day there you can have a lovely cushioned sunbed, parasol, towel and 3 course lunch for just 35 euros per person. Cocktails are extra but we didn't mind paying as they were really nice. We went there twice just so we could eat nice food. In short, this hotel falls well short of what's advertised on TUI and the hotel should not be allowed to have flies, wasps and birds all over the food!!

We got this hotel at a bargain price so you do get what you pay for, I will say that for the price, the weather and the sun lounges being comfortable then it was ok. It has so much potential to be better however improvements in the upkeep and customer service levels need to be made. The Hotel & Rooms > The grounds are nice, the Riads where the rooms could be nice, but all the water features and aesthetics are not working making them feel unkempt. We had issued with rooms in Riad 4 (422/421/423) the smell in them was vile and you could not stay in them. We had to spend a night in Riad 9 however this room was full of bugs. The air con in 1 room worked but not in the other. The furnishings are dated and tatty. However, once we had suitable rooms 430/432 it was ok, still not the greatest but clean and functional. Pool > Good selection of pools, plenty of sun loungers and they were comfy. The main pool needs some TLC however I did hear that this is closing in January for work. Food > The buffet is repetitive but its AI however there is always something to eat. The desperately need to do something to control the flies understandably they can’t stop them however they have not got anything in place to try and controls them. The plates and bowls need replacing as most have chips in them. Drinks > Its AI the drinks are fine, could do with learning to pour a draft pint as you end up with half a cup, but you can just go back and get more. They claim run out of vodka by 10pm most nights however I think this is a lie and they just reach their quota of bottles to use. Also the soft drink machines always seem broken or off so these should be improved. The wine served with dinner is nice. Entertainment > They try hard with the primary language being French however personally this was not an issue, and we appreciated they tried to translate where possible. They could invest in some new music, the CD they have is played every single day and repetitive, dont think I have heard Celine Dion - My Heart will go on so much in my life. Management/ Reception > These staff need customer service training, the way they handled the issue with our room was diabolical. It was 11:30 and we returned to room that made us balk with the smell, husband attended reception they said they would send someone. 30 mins later no one came so he attended reception again this time we were offered a room in Riad 9 however we said it would have to be 2 rooms as we had children, and we can’t have them in 9 and us in 4 these are very far apart. The manager then told my husband to find another hotel if we were not happy – this was 01:00 in the morning. Needless to say they then found 2 rooms in Riad 9 so we slept there. At 8am I went to reception to resolve and was informed we could have a change of room in Riad 4 but not till 12. This was fine so we went about our day, at 12:00 we attended reception then to be told it would be 15:00 at this point I asked to speak to the manager and the receptionist told me to take a seat. We were left waiting 45 minutes whilst she continued checking guests in. After approaching reception again, it was finally resolved. Customer service diabolical and staff just plain rude. Loved Morocco and will return, would not return to this resort. Just a shame as it could be good, but the management don’t seem to care.

I have just come to the end of my weeks stay at this hotel with my partner. We arrived early at 11am and was unable to check in until 3pm. When it came to 3, we checked in and had a porter help us take our luggage to the room. Only to find out, they had assigned us someone else’s room! Never had anything like this happen before and thank goodness the room occupants weren’t in the room at the time. When we went back to reception, there was no apology from the receptionist (I don’t think it was helped by English speaking from the majority of staff in the hotel is very limited). When we got assigned our new room, the porter was very rude and practically demanded a tip from us and didn’t want to leave the room, despite the fact we weren’t going to tip. Now onto the dining area, we recommend don’t sit inside the dining room as it is filled with flies and small birds flying around. There seems to be a big fly problem in the hotel which has been mentioned in other reviews. I would recommend attending meal times as early as possible so for example, dinner starts at 7. I would go at 7 from a hygiene and cleanliness point of view. I didn’t see any birds near the food but flies can quite often be seen landing on the salad bar and bread basket. The all inclusive drinks package is okay but has quite limited drinks available but on the whole the cocktails were nice. However, we had a few issues of having to ask for another glass as the glass they had given us was dirty (on one occasion, had lipstick marks on it). I mentioned earlier that staff speak limited English. It is predominantly French speaking and seems to be a popular place for French families to visit. HOWEVER… The food on the whole is nice, it’s not a wide variety but it is good and changes up each night. The bar and restaurant staff in particular are very nice and the entertainment in the evenings is pretty good. If you can, I would recommend paying a bit extra for another hotel.

Having just returned from a lovely trip to Valeria Madina I'd like to share my experience. This was the school week in Scotland but it was still quiet, plenty of loungers by the pool and could always get a table in the evenings. The all inclusive was great value for money, the wine was really nice, although I never tried the cocktails. The food was always fresh, with various salads each day. Perhaps a pickier eater would struggle but there were burgers and pizzas too. The evenings had a snack table with nuts and olives and vegetables which was lovely with a glass of wine of a night. As for the rooms, basic but clean. There was a fellow guest being sick most mornings and while this wasn't the hotels fault, the walls were paper thin. But spacious and spotless, with water and towels replaced each day. My cleaner folded my pyjamas in a decorative shape on the bed each day which was a nice touch. The waterpark was great fun, spent a few days there with enough to keep us entertained for hours at a time. The absolute highlight for me though was the entertainment team. They were a breath of fresh air. They spent the days interacting with the guests round the pool, and entertaining everyone with the dancing and exercise games. The hotel caters to a French audience, but as non-French talkers, they still ensured we were included by coming over and explaining what was going on and helping us out with the more French songs and questions. In particular, Joe and Idriss (Mdress?) put in loads of effort to make sure we were included and went out of their way to keep close by to translate, and brought so much personality it was a pleasure to be around them. They made us guests feel like part of the fun and encouraged the guests up to dance and join in. Fati who often had the microphone had loads of personality too. Truly the highlight of a lovely holiday.

Please don't go to this place, staff are rude if you speak French you will be fine otherwise it's no good, the flies and wasps were hideous and the swarms of little birds that walk through the buffet food, the complaints were not adhered to and they the staff were not interested unless you were french/Arabic, the so called ala carte resturant was far from ala carte if you like burgers and pizzas, all the entertainment was in French and there are many trip hazards around the pools and 2 of the pools you have to pay for , I would not entertain this place and jet2 were not interested in any of my complaints and tried to appease me with derisory offers i will not be using jet2 again stay away from this place

If you get a cheap deal on this hotel then its worth is worth it, otherwise like us you will be very disappointed with what you paid for. Reception staff extremely rude. Bad bits Soft furnishings in the rooms are filthy, Cracked shower tray Broken sharp floor tiles Chipped crockery Dirty sticky glasses Rude staff! If they get a hint that you are not french then they won’t help you due to the language barrier ( Yousef and Fati were amazing, always happy and helpful) Entertainment was shocking ( personal opinion) a lot seemed to enjoy it Staff eat at the same restaurant as you and have no problem pushing in front of you while the waiting on staff will happily serve them first. No kettles in the room. Never any cups by the coffee/ tea machine, everyone was drinking from cereal bowls Good bits Weather Pools Plenty of son beds Lits of trips to do

So me and my daughter and some friends have just come back from here upon booking I read some reviews but sometimes people just like to moan so didn't take much notice of them but unfortunately what most are saying about if your not French dont bother coming here is very true EVERYTHING is in French the music the entertainment even the whats on or excursions The English wear a yellow band the French where a blue band and it is VERY obvious the English are not welcome by most staff and the French holiday makers Our room was nice and clean and it was cleaned everyday The restaurant is clean and the food was very nice a good selection also the deserts was nice too There is a nightclub there but you have to pay for your drinks there thats the only place where they actually played music in English its open 10pm until 2pm The entertainment staff well some are nice and try to involve you in activities but its a bit hard if you dont speak French My daughter really enjoyed the foam pool party on Monday Although do very careful if you have daughters as they where all over mine until I told them she is 16 BAD BITS the rule is you are only allowed 1 drink at a time so if your in a group and getting a round in they will question you and refuse to give you more than one drink the all-inclusive drinks are terrible unless you like there wine and beer the 5 cocktails on there list are rubbish you are served them in coffee paper cups with a splash of alcohol and lot of fruit juice It was my niece 18th birthday whilst we was there we told the entertainment staff this and they got her up and sang to her which was a nice touch obviously it was her 18th and she wanted a drink so we went to the premium bar there to get better cocktail what they dont tell you is you need to go to reception to get a red wristband in which they scan on order and you pay on checkout some how we had a 230 pound bill and all we had 2 rounds of cocktails and a few tequila shots the whole point of going all-inclusive is so that everything is paid in advance so that was very disappointing Also the day we checked in a party of 200 * French students checked in a they was very rude to the English they also was running around singing and banging on doors at 5am in the morning and when confronted they was being very intimidating and shouting f***the uk so We enjoyed are stay mainly because of the English friends we made

We have just spent four nights here on a boys trip. We did some quad biking & buggy driving in the area around Marrakech. The hotel is an all inclusive on the jet2 website. First of all, we arrived quite late on Monday evening. The restaurant shuts at 21.30 so we were unable to get anything to eat. It wasn't an issue for us, but maybe for other late arrivals. The bar shut at 11pm, again not an issue for us. The accommodation was clean but basic. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff was very polite & helpful for the most part. There were one or two quite rude staff behind the bar. The food again, was quite plain with not a lot of variety but we always managed to find something to eat. One issue we did encounter, was on the last evening the management implemented a one drink per person per visit policy. Why this was deemed a good idea is beyond me. Both English & French guests kicked off profusely. Within a couple of hours, this policy was rescinded. But they kept the signs on the bar. Overall for us, it was a good base for what we wanted. Although, if we visit Marrakech again we will try to be a bit nearer to the place we are doing activities. There has been a lot of comments about how the staff favour the French guests over the English ones. We did witness that, especially at the bar. But it wasn't a big issue for us.

Good value for money and an enjoyable stay Overall, we had a lovely holiday here — it’s a great hotel for the price with plenty of pools, food options, and areas to relax. The main pool is lively with music and entertainment near the bars, so perfect if you like a bit of atmosphere. There’s also a second, quieter pool that’s shallow, has a snack bar, and is nice for relaxing. The aqua park has slides and leads to the largest pool (a big figure-of-eight shape) with loads of sunbeds, though there’s no bar in that area. For something a bit more upmarket, the Mango Bar is a great spot. It has cushioned beds and towels included — about £10 a day for sunbed hire. The double beds get sun all day, while the singles are more shaded and peaceful. Drinks are a bit pricey, but it feels luxurious and you can add lunch or a massage as part of their packages. Tip: You can’t pay cash here — only by card or at reception. It seems they’ve had issues with staff keeping cash, so best to avoid that. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Just a heads-up — towels are taken in the morning and replaced in the afternoon, so plan showers around that. The room itself was fine for the price — not modern but clean. The shower wasn’t very powerful and the bathroom light didn’t work, plus toilet roll wasn’t always restocked, but those were minor issues. You get bottled water daily and there’s a fridge in the room. Food and drinks were decent. Plenty of choice, though more catered to French guests. There’s always pizza, burgers, and chips for kids or fussier eaters. About five cocktail options, plus beer and wine — and at dinner you get half a bottle of wine per table. The shop on-site is handy but expensive (I paid £15 for a hat I could’ve got for £1 at home!). Staff were mixed — some lovely and friendly, others at the bar could smile a bit more. The animation team were brilliant though — always happy and full of energy. There’s also a nice garden area near reception that’s really peaceful, and some evening entertainment which was okay for this type of resort. A big plus is that they don’t cut off your wristband on your last day, so you can still eat and drink until you leave, even if your flight is late. Worth noting: the resort has uneven tiles and cobbled paths, so it’s not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Trips can be booked at reception — we did the waterfall tour, which was lovely. Overall, a really nice stay. A few small niggles, but nothing that ruined our holiday. Great choice if you want a mix of lively and relaxing areas without spending a fortune. Not sure why some of the other reviews are so harsh — honestly, it’s great for the price. If you want a 5-star experience, you have to pay 5-star prices!

The positives are that it is outside Marrakech city so it is quiet and the grounds are well kept. The negatives: there are flies and wasps everywhere crawling over plates, table and food at the buffet. Hotel has no fans or bug zappers to mitigate problem. The first room we were given was so substandard with a toilet that did not work and was unclean, we changed rooms which was cleaner however we had to use the handheld sprayer in the shower as the main head didn't work. A/C barely managed to cool the room.. Except for the chamber maid who was lovely, most staff didn't want to be there. Avoid the spa, it was dirty and unkempt. We travel extensively and have rarely ever experienced anything like this.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, they made it look better than it actually was, I have pictures of the room they tried putting me and my partner in to begin with, there was blood stains on the curtains and hair all over the bed and bathroom, it’s in the middle of nowhere so it made it hard to even leave the resort. The entertainment wasn’t the best and most of it was in French

I can honestly say that my experience at the Valeria hotel was a memorable one . This was made possible by the fantastic animation team who work so hard to communicate all the activities . They are a credit to the hotel ,they made our stay so special. Special mention to Driss for his caring attention letting us know what was on though the day and night ,Yousef Joe,Katie Macven and Salah . The evening entertainment was outstanding . I loved the Michael Jackson show . The team asked if there was English present so they could translate in English . Everyday I learn something new about the Moroccan culture and values . The Hotel restaurant has so much choice of delicious food . I even went to a cookery lesson one day to watch how a chicken dish is made , after we tasted the dish . So now I’m home I can try it out myself. What more could you want . I believe the hotel is a building its the staff that can enhance your experience . I absolutely loved my holiday in Morocco will be returning again without a doubt

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights at the end of September we booked through easy jet, paid a reasonable price for the package inc flights, stay, transfer i would say u get exactly what you pay for the resort is not top of the range or luxury but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, the location of the resort isn’t amazing as it is out of the way a bit but most activities outside of the resort offer a pick up service so eliminates that issue. The resort is mostly French but pretty much all the staff speak some amount of English. The food is good, me and my partner had no issues, a lot of it is the same most nights but never had any complaints, staff were always happy to help even though our french is not great, bar staff were friendly for the most part some grumpy at time which is understandable when faced with some entitled customers. They could benefit from having another bar open which is all-inclusive rather than 2 extra paid bars as the main bar gets very busy and consistently runs out of glassware. Rooms are fine for the money yes there are areas for improvement cosmetic wise but overall no major issues our room was clean when we arrived and the cleaners were always checking every morning if we needed loo roll & water for the room. Only downside is that you have to pay for the safe usage in the room which seems a little odd. The pools have plenty of sun-beds however be careful around the pool when walking on the tiles as they are very slippery when wet which as you can imagine is pretty much all the time, no effort is made to put a sign up to warn guests I didn’t see anyone slip while we were there but it is an accident waiting to happen. Be aware if u want a quiet pool go to the one at the top closest to the restaurant as the main one has entertainment which is very loud and in the French most of the day intermittently. We used the shuttle bus twice into the centre of Marrakesh it was always on time and fairly cheap at 80mad for return trip for 2 adults, I would recommend booking it the afternoon on the day before u would like to go as otherwise you will have to queue up at 9am which sometimes the holiday rep that does the booking is late. Overall the resort was great for the money, I wouldn’t take the bad reviews on board as they are just people complaining for the sake of it you get what you pay for we weren’t expecting a resort with all the bells and whistles and we didn’t get that and that’s absolutely fine.

Stayed here with my mum for a week and had a fantastic time, would definitely stay again. Really enjoyed all of the activities around the pool, especially the aqua Zumba and the foam party. The animation team work so hard throughout the day and night to keep guests entertained. The food was amazing, being vegetarian sometimes I struggle in all inclusive hotels knowing what food I can eat. But this hotel had a vegetarian corner and other food was clearly labelled. The room was lovely and clean, every day we had a different towel arrangement on our bed. The cleaning ladies do a fantastic job. Special thanks to Driss, Macven, Katy and Yusef for making our holiday extra special and looking after us all week. Driss was especially helpful telling us the best places to visit in Morocco and teaching me how to write my name in Arabic. He is so friendly and helpful, really enjoyed our chats every day and dancing at night. Would definitely stay again next year!

Just returned home from our second visit to this hotel. Can't recommend it enough! It has such a friendly inclusive atmosphere. Every member of staff works so hard to look after you. The room was clean & comfortable and fresh towel sculptures made our days! The restaurant kept us well fed and happy. Situated outside of the main city area (with daily cheap shuttle buses) the location is perfect to forget where you are whilst still being close enough to enjoy the famous red city! We love it so much we are already planning our 3rd visit! We would like to specially mention Joe & Katie? From the entertainment team, running great activities throughout the day but also giving us great recommendations for things to see and do in Marrakech. Oh ps the families of peacocks that roam the resort are actually amazing!

Stayed here for a week not the twin bedded we booked for myself and my friend a double with a single room 805 so we had to change rooms at 10 pm and the walk back to reception was approx 8 mins away not good when we were both tired after travelling all day the bar closed at 11 pm and no food for us even a cold buffet would have been better than nothing. The receptionist was not very helpful and just kept saying we will sort out everything in the morning. So another couple had arrived and they swooped their room for our double which was fine as their room was a twin bedded. We settled into our room to discover there was no hangers so we could unpack, no remote for tv no kettle which was promised from TUI no toiletries not even soap so we could wash our hands. Also air con was hardly working and it was so hot in the room. Feeling defeated we managed to get the last drink at the bar and went to bed exhausted…. We told the reception staff all the problems and it took a few days to get our hangers no kettle and air con was working every now and again no toiletries thank god we brought sufficient with us. The hotels entertainment was purely for the French guests which 95% of the hotel was We felt like a minority being English and so did a few Dutch people and Swedish we were totally ignored not a nice feeling on holiday.. we just had to make the best of it just glad we were not going to be here any longer than the week

Driss Kimo macven, Roberto and all the staff were amazing. I would drag my friends here if I come back.

Where to start with a truly awful experience? We arrived around 8pm on our arrival day to an unwelcoming reception and given zero information on the resort or facilities, all of this info we had to piece together ourselves due to an apathetic and uncaring staff. After a truly awful dining experience we retired to our room only to discover an ants nest in it. We brought this up to reception however they seemed completely uninterested and we had to argue a lot to get another room, which then had the same problem!! Third time lucky and we finally got a room not crawling with ants - what a compliment While there was no major issues after that the facilities for the week were very poor - food was disgusting and cold, glasses used for drinks were often times not washed, the pools could be found with rubbish such as cigarette butts, and the entertainment in the evenings was entirely in french, very noisy and impossible to follow. Honestly i’ve never been more glad to leave a place than this, which is a shame as we thoroughly enjoyed everything we done outside the resort! Marrakech is a truly amazing vibrant city full of characters and helpful people, and the meals we had there were exquisite. Quad biking in the desert and camel riding were fantastic experiences and the backdrop of the desert and city make for stunning views. It’s a shame what could’ve been an unforgettable holiday was ruined by such a sub par resort. On the surface it looks so good with so much to do but it’s only skin deep - nasty place with some nasty unhelpful staff (however i must say this doesn’t apply to the bar and waiting staff who were all very friendly!)

Awful experience, both myself and my Daughter had poorly tummies for 5 days out of our 7 day stay. Food was never hot, flies all over the food, witnessed people picking up pastries with their bare hands and then putting them back, the place lacks good hygiene. The floor around the main pool was filthy and so were the sun loungers. All the entertainment was in French so we were unable to participate in most of it, the only thing we enjoyed was the aqua fit and the aqua zumba.and it was evident that the French were preferred over other nationalities. We can safely say we will not be returning and won't be recommending.

Things you should know if planning a stay at this hotel - 1. Plan your arrival after 3pm. No rooms are allocated before this time even if that means sitting for 4-5 hours in clothes you have travelled In. through the night. 2. There is a lively, energetic and very loud entertainments team but do not expect to join in unless you speak French. Nothing is done in English. 3. Do not expect any of your food to be hot but there are microwaves in the restaurant where you can heat it yourself. 4. When there is an issue with your room do not expect it to be fixed . Our aircon broke on the second day and despite reporting this to reception every morning and evening, nothing was done. 5. Do not expect to have a quiet drink in the bar either pre or post dinner. There is only one bar and in the evenings it is taken over by the entertainment team. Because it is all in French we had no idea what they were screeching into the microphones over the top of the blaring music. 6. Plan your departure as close to midday as possible. Rooms have to be vacated at 12 and they refuse to allow you to keep the room any longer or to pay for another room for the afternoon. They do not even supply access to a changing room and shower, which meant we wasted our whole final day. 7. My final tip is to be French! I am pretty sure they got much better service!

Reception on arrival after a long overnight trip were rude dud not greet us and complained they were tired. There was nowhere to change whilst we waited for our room to be availible. When we asked where things were we were directed to a map on a wall. We had to leave our belongings in outside in a small garden and we found ants in our bags as there is no luggage room. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful throughout our trip. The bar was somthing else there was no evidence of any hospitality at all . We were consistently ignored by bar staff and waited softies as long as 10 minutes to be served at an empty bar. However the French holiday makers appeared to be treated with a different level of respect that not offered to English people. We asked for drinks that were on the menu but they were not availible as there was no tomatoe juice. We asked at reception and the man at reception was very rude. This was similar in the restaurant as french dinner were quickly accommodated whilst we were ignored. The food was ok and it was lovely to be treated to traditional morrocon foods . The animation team only spoke in French so we were unable to join most activities . One of the animation team made a rude comment about the fact we were English. The only good thing about this hotel is the sun and the staff who cleaned our rooms and the gardeners. It is a great shame that this hotel in 2025 has not manage to drag itself into the 21st century in terms of treatment of guests We would not stay here again or recommend

We booked this hotel through TUI UK but the vibes are that this is a hotel that really caters for the French. Whilst the animation team have great energy and are good, all the announcements are in French and you don’t have a clue about what is going on because very little is relayed back in English. So if you want to join in, chances are that you will miss the opportunity as you don’t know what is happening. I appreciate that as English we should try to learn other languages but other holiday destinations at bilingual and see to cater for many languages. When we arrived we were given our room key and that was it. There was no information provided, no help where things are. We just had to explore to see where everything was. Very odd and different to other experiences. The restaurant has a good range of local cuisines, however the fresh food is covered in flies with no pest control visible. The service is very poor, often having to go searching for cutlery and cups at every meal. This is personally never something that I have had to do on a holiday. Cleanliness could be improved. Food isn’t cleaned up quickly, a lot of staff seem more interested in what’s going on with their phones. The bar service is also lacking. There is a pool bar that only serves beer, coffee or soft drinks. If you were hoping to have a cocktail, the spirits are there but for some reason you have to go to another bar to get that. It’s bizarre. The room was clean and whilst the air conditioning wasn’t ice cold, it was comfortable to sleep in. Overall, I can’t understand why TUI UK rate this as 4*. Given the service that’s provided, I’ve had much better in 3* accommodation. It TUI UK are looking to push this hotel then they would benefit greatly from having a rep on site, which is currently not provided. Simple improvements would make this a 4* easily. Restaurant tables fully set and managed in a timely manner. The bar should offer self service for water and soft drinks as a minimum, especially as some staff get funny about giving you a bottle of water. It’s a shame as the hotel is lovely but the services on offer let it down from an English perspective.

Arrived home yesterday from Valeria Medina after a 2 week stay celebrating our 3 year anniversary, have to be honest and say we were apprehensive about all the reviews but we left both saying it was the best holiday we had been on. Arrived late Wednesday ( 10:30pm) and were brought to room, accommodated with food afterwards too which was great. Food was good, something to eat any time of day. Photos we got as I’ve attached here, paid to get them enlarged and will frame them which is a great service as I’m useless at remembering to get photos when away. Mango bar and figure 8 pool are hidden gems, had a lovely meal and a day relaxation at mango on the day of our anniversary. Staff at the mango were wow, excellent. Entertainment team.. superb. I don’t know what people expect with the annoyance of French animation. I’m pretty sure the hotel only recently opened up to English speakers, every day the animation team would say hello and try and that’s all you can ask. We actually thought the shows were made better with the struggle of trying to speak English haha! Special mention to Noah and Yousef, both their energy and positivity really made it for us. Yousef actually hurt his leg dancing one night and we didn’t see him for the last 4 days so hopefully he is okay 🙏 Honestly we left quite sad and for a holiday to have that affect after two weeks, thank you for making our first visit to Marrakesh one to remember ❤️ 🇮🇪

We had an amazing stay at Valeria Club Media! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The entertainment was far beyond anything we could have imagined much bigger, more professional, and more fun than we ever expected. Every day was filled with positivity, energy, and activities that made our holiday truly special. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and full of life, and it’s clear that the team works hard to make every guest feel valued. We are leaving with wonderful memories and would happily recommend Valeria Club Media to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and unforgettable holiday experience.

Terrible. I do NOT recommend at all. 2/10 for hygiene. Rooms & even the bathroom was dirty. Also, they made us wait for hours for our check-in. And even at 3pm, the room wasn’t ready! They overbook everyone and don’t even have rooms prepared on time. Also the manager was super rude! Please don’t waste your money on this resort. The food was terrible! The only good thing about this place was the Water Park.

We are leaving today after a lovely trip to Morocco and Valeria Madina. The room we had was a clean double with a king size bed and sofa in the room and patio doors leading to the balcony/ gardens which are beautiful to look at. The bathroom is a separate shower and basin to the toilet which were also both clean, the room is cleaned and changed daily and refreshed with new water and loo roll and clean towels. The public areas are very clean and security is present I never felt unsafe. The reception is manned 24hrs and the restaurant staff always polite and helpful. Anytime we asked for water or wine or cutlery we were given it straight away and what was really nice was the wine is served in bottles and the same with the water there’s always a big bottle for you wherever you are. The snack bars and main bars and public areas are really comfortable and inviting. Yes there’s a lot of French people but so what? The food is Moroccan mostly well… your in Morocco what was the expectation cottage pie? I enjoyed the food I never got ill and I found nothing to complain about please if you you are coming try to be positive and not worry and the moaners enjoy your holiday YOLO

If you’re ever in Valeria Madina, make sure you don’t miss a set by DJ Macven (Jaafar)! He knows exactly how to read the crowd and keep the energy high all night. His mixes flow seamlessly between styles, creating the perfect vibe whether you’re there to dance nonstop or just enjoy the atmosphere. What really sets Macven apart is his passion—he’s not just playing tracks, he’s creating a full experience. The sound, the transitions, and the way he interacts with the audience show how professional and talented he is. Definitely one of the best DJs around—highly recommend catching his performance if you get the chance!

Arrived 7th of September at approx 11am. Were not allowed a room until 3pm. Their check out times and check in times are rigid. Doesnt matter what time you arrive they wont give you a room until 3pm! Cleanliness...hit and miss. Rooms shabby and run down. There were worms crawling around the shower. Apparently they come up through the drains from the garden. STAFF staff who clean your rooms are lovely. So very kind and do a good job. Receptionists ...rude...very unhelpful...refused to allow us pay for a later check out time because flight is 12 hours later. 12pm checkout even though i have food poisioning and feeling very ill. Refused to change sterling to dirham just because they can. This is a regular occurrence. They tell you to come back at this time or tomorrow.... Entertainment is ok and keeps your mind off the rest of the chaos. Restaurant staff tried to stop my daughter leaving with 2 bottles of water! Even got the manager ....WATER! ...fully inclusive and tried to stop her bringing me water as I was ill in bed. This loction is very remote. Have to take a taxi if you want to go into marrakesh. Approx 30- 40 mins and about 200 dirham. Im currently laying on a sofa in the bar area in public ...feel dreadful...cant wait to get home. Havent eaten for 3 days. It could have been so much better if the staff had been more helpful and actually provided a service.

We booked this hotel two months ago and when we arrived at the hotel they didn’t have our reservation bare in mind we arrived in the evening very tired, me and my daughter. Another disappointment was the staff only showed us where to go and not properly guide so my daughter had to find the room by herself. They didn’t have a room prepared for us. We waited one hour to get our room. We get inside our room and not only it wasn’t clean, the cleaners left and open bottle of water at our table. The pillow that my daughter had was contaminated with mould which is very disgusting. No one has asked us about the duvet changes or anything which was upsetting. At every evening or any entertainment it was in French which is very upsetting because we didn’t understand much of it since we are both English. The male staff were too friendly with my daughter, coming up to her when she was sunbathing asking her „are you sleeping” by the DJ when clearly she was trying to relax with closed eyes. Twice she had staff ask her for instagram and snapchats two cases were When she went for lunch and the male staff had an audacity to ask for her number in front of other guest and then followed her to the bar and wouldn’t leave her alone. Another situation was when she went to the Aqua Park and the life guard and for it and when she didn’t give it to him he pushed her down the slid on the floatable backwards which was very unsafe and she got scared. When she ignored the male staff they would still come up to the table and not even serve us but shake her hand for no reason. She really felt uncomfortable since she’s been through a lot this year with men. She cried on the last day and had a panic attack. The mangers did hopefully sort out the situation but this deserves to be posted because no female shouldn’t feel unsafe at a hotel. If I knew about this hotel being like this I wouldn’t have wasted my money on something like this. Morocco itself is beautiful but otherwise coming to the hotel there’s no point. The only positive was Katy a staff member she had tried to calm my daughter down after the incident and helped us a lot very lovely staff member, funny and helpful.

Checked in late Friday night, greeted with room card but no direction of where our block was, if it wasn’t for a fellow Brit family we would of been stuck, food a bit wishy washy lived on cereal for breakfast, pasta for lunch/ dinner until we found the pizza and chips which were the safer option as you could see it being cooked. Not as we went for the entertainment but got to say it was shocking French speaking felt sorry for families with young children around 7pm they do a quiz game entirely in French and to be honest we just felt like outcast’s. Bar staff rude, we spent most our time round the quieter pool so a nice stroll to the bar, one day a French person was in front of me asked for 2 alcoholic drinks which he received in a glass, considering he was sitting around the pool? My turn I asked for 2 alcoholic drinks only to be told not at this bar use the other one . Certain rules apparently, Morocco is a lovely country, but definitely wouldn’t go to this hotel again, on the plus side we’ve learnt a new language,French. To be honest I could go on but I sure some other reviews will fill in the gaps.

I came to the resort with my daughter, We arrived around midday, they allowed us our wrist bands to get lunch and use the facilities while waiting for check in which I guess was helpful but when it came to checking in, there was no information or help to find our rooms, after a long day travelling we ending up walking around for a while trying to find our room with two suitcases and a 7 year old who was pretty sick of being lost.. once we finally found our room the door was wide open with two men drilling and re wiring stuff in the bathroom, was frustrating as all we wanted to do was rest. During the week we were giving no direction or information about anything in the hotel, and it felt like we were just left to figure it out, so the first few days felt less relaxing than anticipated. I didn’t have a horrible time but it felt a little isolating, my daughter found friends which was great, and while playing with her friends I was hoping to enjoy the evening games and shows put on by the entertainment team, unfortunately it was predominantly French speaking, although there were English speaking entertainers, there was a lack of translation so watching the entertainment became a little boring/irritating as I felt I was missing out a huge amount. Overall I probably wouldn’t visit again, doing a holiday every summer I’ve enjoyed the hotels and resorts that put even slightly more of an effort into making your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible, even if they put together an information sheet, or had a map, something that let you know where things were, what time the meals began and ended and what activities they offered. I think they have a lot to improve on, if you are not French/Arabic speaking, it can be quite difficult getting on.

13 of us traveled and not one of us was disappointed. The food was good great choice every night.I see people complaining about birds and flies I would like to know where these people have been to before as I’m yet to find anywhere that has totally solved this problem. There is a corner outside for the people who are not interested at trying any food unless it’s English. They are also the people that want to order kfc or McDonalds. The service at the resort is great on the few occasions we had to go to speak to reception the issue was sorted within half an hour.most people like to report issues on facebook which is never going to be seen by staff at the hotel. So try and actually tell the people who need to know they will surprise you.The water park is great there is also a quiter pool area there. The main pool can be a little loud for some.Rooms were fine and clean and do these people moaning decorate every year in there own houses I think not.The one thing this holiday has taught us is stay away from the English as they moan about every single thing rather than getting on with there holiday.A must is going into the Marrakesh central where you will not be disappointed

Where do I start! They clearly don’t listen to the booking as we requested a cot and room on the bottom floor of the resort, we turn up at the hotel and just got our key cards thrown at us with no guidance to our rooms, we have a baby (8 months) in a stroller which we had to lift up the stairs, we also requested a cot which was not put in at first, we ask for a cot which was broken with a rusty nail hanging out of it in reach. FOOD The food is sub par and lacking variety, the chicken RAW, the beef was all grisly and fat, it upset my girlfriends stomach to the point she didn’t even want to consume the muck you were serving The food area might as well have been a bird sanctuary and cat park as they were freely roaming around the restaurant and on the food, they were also helping themselves to the food. We ask for water in order to feed our baby the formula she needs, we ask and we don’t get it as they think one bottle of water a day for a child and family is sufficient enough to survive in the climate we were in. Lack of respect If you’re English do not come here as everything is in French, they would tut and look down on you once you say to them we don’t speak French, if it was all Arabic I would understand as I have visited countries that speak Arabic culture but only catering for your home speaking customers is downright atrocious, and only having a French speaking excursion booker means we had to stay within your hotel walls and couldn’t experience anything outside. Lack of facilities The so called options of facilities that were advertised to us was not there 3 bars advertised try 1 bar and it was served to you in a coffee cup which I’m certain they just swilled out from lunch time. There is no kids pool, not a family friendly hotel in the slightest. Will not stay here again. Severely dissatisfied and angrily disappointed Shocking excuse of a hotel.

Cons: 1.

This resort has a good water park and clean rooms, but many facilities were closed or came with hidden costs, making it less enjoyable than expected. I stayed at the Valeria Marina Club Resort in Marrakesh with my three children (ages 7, 8, and 13). One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it advertised both a water park and a kids’ club suitable for all their age groups. Unfortunately, during our stay the kids’ club was never open. Each time we tried to join, the building was locked and chained, with no explanation given. This was particularly disappointing as it was one of the deciding factors in booking the hotel, yet it was not mentioned anywhere in our booking documents. The children did enjoy the pools and water park, which was the highlight of their stay, but for parents, the lack of a kids’ club, hidden costs, poor service, and misrepresented amenities made the experience disappointing. I would not recommend this resort if you are expecting a true all-inclusive experience — too many hidden costs, limited facilities, and poor customer service.

Don't believe any of the positive feedback for this they are clearly insiders dj is not a dj firstly but let's get into this. Disgusting food uncooked and runs out constantly. Hotel is not clean it's filthy and if you doubt this review take a look at the pictures which I will continue to document from this experience as we are still here. Formal complaint with tui will be on going and I will personally make sure I show holiday makers what they will be getting from this resort. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE HOMELESS WITH 0 STANDARDS OR FRENCH. UTTER JOKE. DONT BELIEVE ME CHECK PICTURES AND I HAVE MORE TO COME. DO NOT LISTEN TO LIES LIKE GREAT DJ AS A DJ PLAYS MUSIC MIXES SONGS AND HAS GOOD MC ABILITY THIS DJ HAS A BASIC LAP TOP MY FRIENDS BACK HOME HAVE BETTER EQUIPMENT IN THERE MAN SHED. First of all let me start by saying this is NOT a 4 star hotel. How they rate hotels in Morocco is obviously not the same anywhere else around the world. I have been to many places as I have backpacked around south east Asia and was cabin crew so I know my hotels! Upon arrival not one member of the reception staff said hello or even looked at us. It was only about 1230 in the afternoon and check-in wasn’t until 1500 so it just seemed like they couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge us. We were told we could leave our luggage in the luggage area and come back to check in at 3 pm. Baring in mind we had two young children with us they didn’t seem to even want to try and help, I did mention if the room may be ready any earlier and the women just said a blunt no. The main pool was so busy (it was the school holidays) and like a bath! This pool was avoided the whole two weeks as it wasn’t enjoyable at all. The entertainment daily for two weeks was the exact same the same activities just on repeat, to make it even worse the whole thing was in French! (Me and my family are English) this meant we couldn’t get involved with anything that was going on there so we just decided to spend our time at the choir pool by the waterpark and the shallow pool with the volleyball net and the waterfall pool (which were lovely and cool) how a pool should be in 45 degree heat! Once we checked in we were kindly all taken to our room on a buggy with the cases which the kids loved shortly to discover we had been allocated the wrong room. We had booked through on the beach a family room which at the time on their website showed a room with a divider so the kids had their own room to sleep in. We specifically booked this room and paid £480 more as our daughter is autistic and needs her own space to fall asleep. We went down to reception straight away (my partner did) and about 20 mins later came back to say the manager said we had been given the correct room. We hadn’t as the room we were in was a double room with a sofa bed (for one child) when we clearly had 2 children and booked a family room with 4 beds. We were rudely told by management that on the beach do not have the right to sell any other room apart from a double room on their website and it isn’t their problem that this had happened. We then went back and forth with on the beach customer service who explained they actually do have the right to sell other rooms and this was therefore a lie. The hotel reception was a good walk down especially in 45° heat and my partner had to go there several times in the first three days of our holiday. This made it very stressful for us and our daughter who thought she was having her own space to sleep. This didn’t get resolved during our stay and we spent the whole two weeks in a double room with a sofa bed and was given a camping type bed for the additional bed for my other child. The food was ok the first few days then got very repetitive the first 10 days the restaurant was badly run very unorganised and only one part of it was cool enough to actually eat In. The air con isn’t actually air conditioning it’s like a air cooling system so the rooms and all other indoor areas are not pleasant at all. My sister and her family got very sick whilst staying here with realky bad tummy upset, the general hygiene wasn’t great. The restaurant area was so busy flys were everywhere I know sometimes this can’t be helped but there was nothing in place to even try and help this. Tables were never laid we were helping ourselves to cutlery. Waiters will be cleaning tables with nobody on them whilst we were standing there waiting for ours to be cleaned. There was a lovely lady in the Cool area as we call it of the restaurant Who was brilliant as soon as she saw us she got us water and laid our table. Her name was Khadija thank you so much for making us feel welcome and being very attentive. After this the last four days were very different it’s like a complaint had been made and the staff were then all of a sudden on their best behaviour and everything was how it should be in a 4 star hotel. I did see some management standing around overlooking the staff and making sure things were done right this is how it should’ve been from the start not 10 days into our holiday. It also seems like a lot of the people that worked in this hotel had family come to visit as a lot of the visitors. The Moroccan ones seemed to know the hotel staff This made the hotel very busy in the last week and you could notice the difference. Overall I felt the hotel was not worth the money we had paid as this cost over 4 1/2 thousand pounds for our family of four for two weeks we didn’t get the right room and have put a formal complaint in to On the Beach which has made our return home stressful too. We were also told that French TUI could only sell the family rooms and the hotel only sold these to them which I think is extremely wrong if this is the case, even though when we booked with On the Beach, the family room was available and was shown in their images so the hotel took the extra money and excepted the booking and we didn’t get the right room. I would say this hotel was a 3 star at the very most. Good points.. our room was cleaned daily the ladies that done this were lovely. Left water in the fridge for us oh and on that note when asking for water at the restaurant to take away, they only ever gave one bottle which was a litre and we were a family of four and were told we were only allowed one. The pools other than the main pool were lovely, not too busy and cool. We done some amazing trips during last day which we organised all by ourselves with the app. Get my Guide. We will not return to this hotel and overall the staff were rude, everyone spoke in French unless you were French then the animation team would hardly acknowledge you. And the “aircon” was shocking! Avoid this hotel and save your money.

Don't believe all the bad reviews you read about this hotel. It is immaculately clean the pools are 1st class and suitable for all ages. The food was amazing every day and night with a wide choice. There was also a outdoor bbq area and pizzeria cooking wood fired pizza, chips burgers nuggets and other selections of bbq meats. The BBQ are was also open for breakfast cooking fried eggs, omelette with load of various fillings and scrambled eggs. One thing to remember is that the pool area inside the water park is not included in the all inclusive package but you can take food and drink in from the other food and drink areas, or you can purchase food from the vendors inside this area at a very reasonable price.

Entertainment is on until late at night, including dance shows, pool foam parties and fire shows, absolutely amazing. Driss and the rest of the entertainment team go above and beyond, and cater to all guests staying in the hotel, both French and British. We had a lovey stay here last week. It had lots of bad reviews before we left so I was slightly worried about our stay but it was so much better than I expected. There were 6 of us altogether, 2 families and they gave us adjoining rooms which was great so we could sit outside together or open the linking doors so we had access to both rooms. The rooms were ok but the air con doesn’t really work, there was a little bit of air coming out but it didn’t really bring the temperature down much. We were able to the WiFi in our rooms so the kids were happy! I did find the beds too hard and the pillows weren’t great but we made do. There was a variety of different foods available everyday and there was always something for everyone so we never had any issues there. The meat dishes were cooked to perfection, we went back for seconds often! They made fresh omelettes to order each morning which was a great start to the day. The pool areas were busy but we always managed to get sun beds at various times throughout the day. We enjoyed the large pool by the water park as it was a lot quieter than the ones by the restaurant/bars. Most of the entertainment was is French so unfortunately we couldn’t always understand what was going on but at times they spoke one English and then French. It is only their first year open to English tourists so I understand that it takes time to adapt and cater to everyone Be prepared to do a lot of walking, especially if you are in staying in Riad 8 as it quite far from the main buildings.

When we arrive at the hotel our rooms wasn't ready, we paid the tourists tax then given our all inclusive bands, we had lunch and stayed round pool, we came back to reception at 3pm and was told only 2 rooms was booked for us not 3, I shown the manager our booking form, and he pulled another room out of the air 🙄 our 3 rooms was on the 900s, we were told rooms that way 👉 rooms was a good size, however our room aircon was not working at all, this was sorted pretty quickly, in my daughters room toilet flush and fridge wasn't working, this would get fixed, only to break again and again. The hotel definitely for the French, all shows are in French , mini disco games in French. Food i found ok, but some of the people in our group struggled with the food, chips, chicken burgers and pizzas was served outside, but there was always long queues for them. The wasps was a nightmare, why they don't fumigate i don't no. I definitely won't go back to this hotel, not because of the aircon, food or wasps, but purely because its staff look after the French customers and not the English.

would not rate this a 4* but a 2/3* not much choices in beverages (watered down) the top brand you would have to pay. everything is cash though they have an ATM machine. Staff are friendly. Food bland, entertainment was good and the pools is great. I booked 2 rooms my room was lovely but my daughters room was infested with ants from mattresses to headboard and ceiling (room - 630) they had to share the room with me for the night. until they gave my daughter another room that she was comfortable. The market is great to visit, you need a whole day no pressure with their locals. Must go for the camel ride/dinner show, it was the best of our vacation. Oh, when booking a shuttle bus to the market its cash but make sure you give enough time to get back to the base for pick-up. As my experience I was a few minuets late and ended up paying for a taxi - I was fuming so when I got back to the hotel - I made my point but my voice must have raised without me knowing as I was angry, the tourist guy gave half the money back. It was an experience not to forget - will not visit Marrakech, as all hotels is in the middle of nowhere. The only thing I do love is the local peoples, so humble and friendly.

We have just returned from 10 days, day one I had all of the reviews in mind, we arrived at 14:30 and was told to go for lunch but it finished at 2 so doubtful things would be left. Food didn't look great, wasn't overly clean so we left to find the snacks, didn't find them and then went to the bar for a drink. Im type 1 diabetic and asked for a Pepsi max and was given Pepsi ( realised this after I had necked it 🙄🥴) got our room key, block 900 walked round to 3 beds not 4.... had to ask 4 times for a 4th bed. Kids cut their feet in the pool near the restaurant 😫. Went to bed feeling less than impressed and tomorrow would be a new day. Wow! We decided to go for meals at the start of service and happy to report no complaints! Food was nice ( all inclusive, if your looking for amazing book something with a higher ⭐️ and more 💰) didn't have to que for long for chips, nuggets, pizza or eggs. Kids put their pool shoes on, no more cuts on feet ✔️ The ground was hot so the pool shoes saved the day again (45 degrees last week 🥵) ✔️ Entertainment is in French, little English. When people holiday in England we do not translate into every language around, my suggestion stop expecting the world to accommodate our language, it has more French guests so the majority wins as far as we were concerned. My 4 year old loved the disco and the kids (11 &14 had a great time) If you want Pepsi max, ask for Pepsi max no sugar and you want the black bottle... no more high sugar Pepsi for me ✔️👍. Trip to Marrakesh was good, very chaotic but transfers were fine ✔️ Room temp, wasn't air conditioned however, it was cool, much cooler than outside. We had a ground floor apartment..id read reviews so packed 4 mini desk usb fans which we hardly used.✔️ Room was cleaned daily, I saw possibly 3 or 4 ants in our room in 10 days. Always re stocked with water and clean towels ✔️ Water park, kids loved it. No free food or drinks but we took stanley style cups for everyone which is a must, for heat and wasps. The bars are more than happy to fill them with a choice of your drink ✔️ Staff are lovely and helpful ✔️ I took the squeeze juice to add to water mainly due to the lack of diet drinks, glad I took ✔️ Id say the food is more full board with a few snacks, we've never done all inclusive before so it wasn't a big issue for us ✔️ Overall, our party of 7 had a lovely holiday and we have said we WOULD book to go again there was always something to do, pool parties, foam parties, zumbu, volly ball, 4 pools, darts, table tennis, you can order basic snacks (chips, sausage and chicken) in the afternoon at the snack bar. I did have a few cheeky cocktails at the Mango pool chargeable at 80MAD (£6-£7) very nice 👌

Ok so here we go… I’m going to try and be open minded and as honest as I can from a family’s perspective with a child with SEN. We arrived at the hotel and was told to go for lunch first and then check in however my son (who has Down syndrome) just needed some quiet time so they let us check in early free of charge. We got into the room and the aircon was pretty rubbish. It was definitely cooler than outside, but not ice cold like some other air cons. After reading reviews we brought little desk fans with us and they were perfect and suited us the whole holiday. My son carries epipens for milk and red berries. At dinner time, all he ate was chips because they were the only things safe enough. This was obviously a big concern as he couldn’t live off chips the whole holiday, so I complained to jet 2 and the rep met us in the morning. He was amazing. He spoke to the resort manager who got the head chef to walk us around all the foods and tell us what was safe and what wasn’t, and the jet2 rep wrote us a card in Arabic to show to people if we needed information about the food which did wonders. Food was very samey everyday but was fine for us and we were quite happy with the choices. On arrival some other British people warned us that they’d been a stomach bug going round and to sanitise after touching the shared utensils and before we ate. We did this and we didn’t get ill at all :) the birds someone’s fly around when you’re eating but honestly they’re no bother. Neither are the 2 cats that occasionally walk about. Overall food was ok, not really suitable for kids unless they want to live off pasta or pizza and chips - there’s no kids corner!!! The rooms and pool area were clean and tidy. The maids did an amazing job. They only give you 1 bottle of water in the room and you can only get water from the restaurant so make sure you stock up at breakfast lunch and dinner or it’ll be difficult to get some. The pools were good! The big slides are 120cm so we couldn’t go on them as my sons only 97cm but other people said they were good. The entertainment was ok, all in French with occasional English translations but didn’t really bother us as my son was done by about 7pm and ready for bed. They had karaoke, kids disco, Moroccon themed music and belly dancers, and the kids club performed in the theatre too. Kids club isn’t suitable for SEN children. There’s a lot of terrible reviews on here, and although I can see why they’ve been so negative, it really is what you make of it. It’s not an expensive resort so you get what you pay for. It is heavily French so if that’s going to bother you then don’t bother going because they are favoured, but again we didn’t let that ruin our holiday so it’s really what you make it. Be careful of hydration and spirits whilst you’re there. On the last night my partner threw up and passed out beside one of the pools. He’d only had a few vodkas throughout the day (about 3/4) so wasn’t drunk, but hadn’t had much water. An English couple helped me carry him to the infirmary but the Dr was awful. Put a blood pressure cuff on his elbow. Took his sats and just said “he needs sleep”. Didn’t tell me what was wrong or anything. He did get security to bring a buggy because we stayed in a room the other end of the resort so we got him back safe but apart from that I was all on my own out there with him with no medical help. Methanol poisoning was the diagnosis we got back home because of the cheap alcohol they use and a lack of hydration. It was very worrying, he couldn’t stay awake but he is ok now. Just a few tips: - hydration hydration hydration, you might not think you need it but you do - don’t book if you’re expecting different fancy foods every night. They feed you what they feed you. - don’t book if you’re going to be offended by how French it is. I enjoyed speaking French and enjoyed the different vibe but don’t expect it to revolve around brits - take safe foods for children and children with Sen because there’s not much choice for kids - take mini fans - get your photos from the photographer! They’re amazing!

⸻ “I worked at Madina Faloria Club Marmara and I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, the hotel is far below standard. It primarily caters to French-speaking guests, neglecting English-speaking visitors. The room quality is poor, the food is subpar, and the entertainment is extremely limited and not inclusive of English speakers. I would not recommend this hotel for English-speaking guests; please consider a better option.”

Please read this review I was so worried before coming due to seeing all the coments and how English people get treated. We arrived home yesterday and all i can say is we had the best time ever. There was 6 of us 2 adults 2 teens and 2 kids. We booked 2 rooms and when we arrived at hotel I asked for ajoying rooms which they happily provided. The rooms are basic but as its a 3 star hotel this is what you expect There was a fridge in both rooms and both worked. Air con does work but as its so hot there at the moment it's not the most powerful. We kept the doors and curtains shut and that helps The lady who cleans the rooms are lovely and so kind and if we needed extra of anything they provided. One day they didn't have towels in room without asking they brought them to us. Food- There is something for everyone pasta chips chicken loads of vegetables salad bread amd different meats I'm a fussy eater and I ate good every day. Yes there are birds in the restaurant but they only come down when people leave there table. Regarding rudness from french towards English and English being served last I can honsetly tell you the only people who pussed in front me was English people. The restaurant staff work there buts of but again there are people who think they are entitled to special service. I did not tip the restaurant staff and the service towards us was amazing. You can ask for extra water and wine if needed. The only let down is the drinks in the restaurant as they are not the best. I did take large cups with lids and they always filled them at the bar with no issue. The grounds are massive and fast they are always fixing things and cleaning. The pools are lovely and the entertainment is amazing. They only opened this year the the English and the effort they are making is amazing. I can't wait to return in 2 years time to see what it is like. The only people who pused in front of me was English people who had given large tips to get speicel service Sad to be home

Bad points, snack bar staff “ Old Lady” Ginger hair disgusting, she removed her name tag, because she knew I was gonna report her . Front desk staff just smiled but did nothing. Room facilities poor: AC, fridge and shower very bad, no cooling at all and ants everywhere. Room phone did not work either. Changed and cleaned room on 4 th day. Good Points: staff tried there best and helpful, very polite and Courteous. Entertainment was cool Too. Waiting staff did there best and accommodating what was possible. Good

Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Beds are big, and also comfy to sleep on. There is 3 pools in the main area, additional pool for adults only (with additional cost) and pool by the aqua park area which is lovely. Size of the resort was brilliant. Entertainment every night was good, and there is everything for all ages, Kids, teens and adults. Staff was very friendly.

Cons: There is not enough staff to cover the bar area. There is only one restaurant, and only one main bar where it gets really busy and wait times are long. Air conditioning in the room was quite poor, it was hot to sleep, however, understanding that we were in the middle of the desert area with a lot of AC units around, so it wasn’t as strong as expected.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t waste your money on this hotel! Everything was awful except the animation team! Started with being put in a room with 2 children and 2 adults only 3 beds. Air con was non existent so went to report to reception…said it would be fixed tomorrow. They said come back the next day which we did and got moved rooms to another non existing air con room but we were all together so put up with it! We ate at the restaurant for the first 4/5 days but were extremely concerned with the hygiene. Birds flying around (very cute when they’re not pecking at the food) flys everywhere on the food and stray cats roaming. Still didn’t put us off though and enjoyed the daily entertainment! Day 6 my son went to get a hot chocolate from the machine, came back looking like milky water with black bits floating in it. After closer inspection we realised that there were ants floating in it and were horrified. Went to tell a member of staff and he just pointed at the machine and walked off. Back to the room - still no air con after being told it would be fixed again and again ☹️ we then realised that there were ants everywhere. Bathroom, toilet and main bedroom. Again back to reception…they sent the ant man who sprayed some spray and left. Next day, more ants 🐜. Again reported and was told that the man would come again - never did. Went to the water park and unless you’re French or Moroccan don’t bother going! Children were begging for the inflatables to go on the rides but the ‘lifeguards’ just sat on their phones and gave them to the French people. Now to the main part… ALL INCLUSIVE?? Please don’t be fooled by this. When you go to the bar to ask for a drink the staff are rude and slower than slow. 🐌 They will fill a small cardboard cup half full (mostly ice) and if you ask for more then you’re in the bad books! I then asked my son why he hadn’t got his sister a drink and he said because the man told him one drink per person… How lovely when you’re a child and can’t hydrate at an all inclusive because of the awful staff! The rest of the day time staff couldn’t crack a smile if you paid them…in the bad books for asking them to fill the measly cups to the top! On the note of bar staff though there was a lovely man with glasses who couldn’t do enough for you and really made our experience good! You can get semi-good food near the waterpark but it will cost as it’s not included in the all inclusive! Went to the ‘snack bar’ again no clue what you’re saying unless you’re French and make you feel like a burden. My friends son slipped on the wet floor and no one batted an eye lid 👀 Never came to wipe the liquid which just caused more danger. Now to the good part which gave them one star… The animation team were amazing!!!! Couldn’t do more for you and absolutely provided the best! Even though most of the entertainment was in French, they translated and really made you feel included! If we didn’t have the entertainment through the day/night and the lovely pools we would have taken an early flight home! Also a shout out to the photographer! Lovely man and couldn’t do enough for everyone ☺️ We read the reviews before going and were optimistic that it might be different, but please don’t waste your money. It’s food poisoning central 🤢

I stupidly read the reviews a few days before our holiday and became quite anxious. In the end, We had the best holiday as a family. I would like to address some of the doubts previous reviewers have made The first being the air conditioning- Its North Africa in August, its hot everywhere. The air conditioning was no better in the airport and various places across the city. Either prepare for the heat or research and book for a cooler part of the year. I highly recommend a shower and air dry before bed. The insects- yes there is flies and wasps, just like we get in the UK at this time of the year. Everyone is struggling to keep them at bay. My advice is to steer clear of the salad unless it has been freshly put out or recently uncovered. Be prepared to protect food and drink from wasps. The food- outside you have chips, nuggets, burgers and freshly made pizza. Inside there is a range of pastas and lots of moroccon cuisine. The food was really nice and somewhat varied with a few repeats. Others have also mentioned waiting to be served or not being served at all at the bar or dinner with wine. Cannot say that was something I experienced. Some waiting in the evenings at the bar but never left without a drink. They just get so busy. Language barriers- The majority of tourists are French and so the entertainment is mostly aimed at French speakers. This in no way stopped me from dancing and having a whale of a time at the pool parties and evening entertainment. All of the staff work hard and are lovely and kind. Please treat them well, its hard to keep every single guest happy and they are having to work in extreme heats to help you have a great holiday. I highly recommend the water park, there is a nice big pool with plenty of sun loungers and it is quite nice and peaceful. There is a bar and restaurant but these are not included in all-inclusive, so either take some drink with you or some dirham. There is a few slides and three of which use inflatables. These can be collected at the end of the pool when other riders have finished and the staff onside will pump up any that have lost air. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and a bottle of water. Other reviewers have said about the hotel being dated, but to be honest I loved it and it felt authentic and part of the experience. Sadly one of the guests smashed up the fountain in our Riad on the second night. Overall, we all had an amazing week. The food was great, the pools and rooms were clean. Some bugs but thats to be expected wherever you go in the world and fantastic staff. I hope we get to see you again soon. Thank you for having us!

Just come back from a fantastic holiday staying here. I had the reviews before we went and was really concerned as they were not that good. Well I’m so glad I decided to give the hotel a try! We had the best holiday ever. Most people we met there also had the same concerns and can’t wait to write their own review telling the truth. The hotel itself was great, the layout was good, we were located near the water park. On arrival we were shown around by Farah and taking to the restaurant to have some food which we did not expect at 11pm. All the staff were absolutely fantastic. We had read that they were rude to the British and preferred the French but this was not true. They spoke English and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was amazing. They had different activities for adults and children all day and always spoke in both French and English making sure everyone was included. After dinner there was great shows and they thrived on including everyone. There was also a nightclub to go to. We enjoyed the foam parties in the day and night. The photographers were amazing, I went with my son and don’t usually have many pictures of the both of us but we bought a package which meant we did not need to take any photos as the photographer was always there to take the best pictures of us enjoying ourselves together. The food was good and plenty of it. The only thing I could criticise would be the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, we had read this and took room fans with us. Overall I would urge people to ignore the bad reviews and go and have a great holiday here. We loved it!

We had a fabulous family holiday of 2 weeks at Valeria Madina Club. We arrived late after a delay and did have to pay for some drinks post 11pm but it wasn’t a big deal. The room we were allocated was a double - we are 3 adults and 1 teenager. The reception team soon got this issue resolved and we went to a large room with a king and twin beds. The room was basic but cleaned every day, new towels every day and very good air conditioning. The food was lovely, a great choice at every meal and wall to wall with the snack bar too. Drinks were readily available with bottles of water given out constantly and half bottles of wine of choice at every meal. We ate 3 times at mango restaurant at extra cost but had beautiful food and cocktails and it wasn’t expensive. We always got sun beds and the pools were amazing, we spent the days going between each pool including the figure of 8 pool at the aqua park. We took a taxi to the Madina in Marrakesh and spent time in the souks and markets. We ate a meal in the Sky Bar which was beautiful and not expensive at all. We went quad biking in the desert booked through Get Your Guide £48 for 4 of us, transport, 3 hours quads and a snack included. The WiFi was hit and miss so maybe consider a data roaming pass, it wasn’t to end of the world because we had so much to do in and around the resort. Thank you for a fantastic family holiday 👍

I had an unforgettable holiday at Valeria Madina! The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and full of life — but what truly made the experience special was the entertainment team. A huge thank you to Joe and Youssef, without a doubt the best entertainers I’ve ever met. Their energy, humor, and genuine connection with the guests made every activity and show so enjoyable. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. From pool games to evening performances, they were always the life of the party! The whole entertainment team deserves praise, but Joe and Youssef really stood out. They helped turn a great holiday into an amazing one. Can’t wait to come back to Valeria Madina soon!

We enjoyed the holiday overall but the first day experience wasn't great. We'd been travelling since 2am and when we finally reached our hotel, we were given wristbands which enabled us to get food and drink but were told rooms wouldn't be ready until 3pm which is a long time if all you want to do is unpack and use the pool. I did not have any sunscreen either and was generally uncomfortable but no effort was made to speed up rooms being ready. We saw the rep on the first day but did not see her for the duration of our holiday - didn't need her anyway. We holidayed with our 2 teenagers who spent most of the day time in the pool at the waterpark or sat in reception where you could get the best WiFi when they were too hot (or getting withdrawal symptoms) They did try to get involved with some of the water based games but the activities were mostly communicated in french language which is OK but they didn't always understand the rules or what was going on. Aqua aerobics/zumba was fun too and the pool temperature was perfect. Evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss - OK if it's dancing, the kids disco is just a lot of copying actions so I don't think it matters but at the ampitheatre shows, again all in french so the skits were going over our heads a little bit. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained gardens; our room overlooked a lagoon/pond which wasn't full for some reason - it was nice to see peacocks strutting around. The hotel itself is clean just a bit tired and in need of renovation - new tiles round the pool, replacement patio doors, blackout curtain attached to the railing by more than one hook. The food was really nice - good selection, quite similar every day but tasty - the restaurant should invest it some fly zappers or at the very least fly papers. Floors were constantly being mopped even with people walking around! Air conditioning throughout was pathetic sadly - you can hear it but everyone saying the same thing so most nights were inconsistent sleep as it was still very warm. I thought there was adequate clothes storage for once in the room - in the past I've found not enough rail/cupboards and also the maid efficiently cleaned the room and made the beds each day and towels very clean. Drink variety a bit limited - local beer, vodka, gin or whiskey and as someone else mentioned, Sangria was the cocktail of the day every day! Other cocktails mostly tasted the same. Aqua park was excellent just not enough inflatables so you can be stood around waiting for someone to come down with one, then the lifeguards are whistling constantly to get out of the water which was quite funny tbh. I would come back just maybe not in August as I'm not used to that kind of heat!

When we booked the holiday I did have mixed feelings given some of the reviews I had seen and I will look to be honest in my assessment. We were staying for a week with our two grown up sons. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, well maintained and have some beautiful plants. The hotel itself whist clean is just very very tired and in need of modernisation both the main hotel buildings and the rooms. Most of the staff are wonderful, polite and engaging. The food, whilst quite similar each day was nice, hot and tasty, again the restaurant needs some tlc. Quite how TUI stated there were 3 restaurants baffles me as I only counted 1 of note. Some of the downsides…the air conditioning in the rooms is awful and when it is 43 degrees outside, I was hoping to come into a nice cool room but alas no. The rooms were clean but the furniture old, no chairs just a table on the patio, towels changed each day and maid did a good job. Access to water, I have never been to an all inclusive hotel where the only bottles of water you can get are the 1.5 litre sort and warm and you had to get these from the restaurant, when open, if closed you had no chance. When the restaurant was open you had a job to prise more than one bottle off of a waiter, such was the reluctance to give you water. The bar, great barman and very quick service, little or no queueing, however drink variety limited, vodka, gin or whiskey and Sangria was the cocktail of the day everyday !!! Limited cocktail list, and of the five, one was a Bloody Mary, however the hotel had no tomato juice and hadn’t for the past 3 weeks ! Aqua park looked good with some good slides, the only problem being the 3 good slides required an inflatable ring to use and with only a very small stock of rings and no fair queueing system to use the rings these slides were off limits, I counted a total of about 7 or 8 rings for the entire aqua park. Lastly, the Mango adults only pool is a white elephant, whilst I had known that drinks were extra I had not appreciated that it was £10 a day each to use the pool. Needless to say it was very quiet but lovely and if they game to same attention to the hotel it would be amazing. Oh and the bus transfer to the city was very good, on time and good value. So there you have it, not the worst but not the best but could be very nice but needs some love and attention over a winter season. Still had a nice holiday though.

Arrived with an open mind to all the mixed reviews! Firstly the double room is more a single with a sofa bed and two singles pushed together to make a double . Sheets not changed every day ! Don’t get me started on the non existing air conditioning in the 45 degree heat! Did complain apparently got fixed but no change , resorted to opening the windows and door at night! Food is very repetitive but there is something for everyone . Now for the entertainment team , I take my hat off to them they all work so so hard in such heat during the day making a fun environment for all ages ! We only found out whilst there that they have only just opened this hotel up to the English this year so be warned it is very French orinitated which leaves the English a bit left out . Would I return no . Would I recommend no !

I visited this hotel myself wife and two children for 10 nights on the 18th of July. After reading a lot of poor refuse and some good I went here with an open mind. This is a honest review Starting with the rooms we booked a four person that family room we had two single beds pushed together a sofa bed and waited six hours for a separate single Z bed to be brought to our room. There was basically not enough room so walk through to the toilet Also there is nowhere near enough clothes space for four people Two people at a push Daytime entertainment and pool area. This is the only decent part of the Holiday the entertainment team WORK all day and all night to keep you entertained. It is a hotel for French people and French is their first language you can tell that it is aimed towards the French, but they do try to include the English . This is something TUI should let people know the pools are also fine crowded but fine. The food is awful 1 star and I’m being very generous you have got wasps flies all over the food inside all the time but to make it worse you have birds nesting in the restaurant and eating at the food continuously if you are a fussy eater or have fussy children you will not eat nothing but chips

Went to Valeria madina club resort on the 31st of July I am currently still here leaving tomorrow was worried about all the negative reviews at the start but the hotel has been great restaurant food has been amazing from start to finish at breakfast you have pastries cheese toast omelettes and eggs if you prefer them. Lunch & Dinner has a wide selection of meats fruits and desserts vegetarian options are also available. Rooms are cleaned and made everyday ac in room is manageable it is a warm country so it doesn’t work aswell in higher temperatures. Children’s small waterpark I would say the tiles need to be changed to more grip as they are very slippery but bring aqua shoes for young children and tiles over time will cause blisters. Queues for chips and chicken nuggets for kids takes a while would advise hotel to increase friers as there is a lot of kids waiting for this wasn’t a big problem for my family as I enjoy the traditional food and I everything was freshly made yet again. Drinks from the bar aren’t great but again didn’t bother me as im not a big drinker but this didn’t affect my stay at the hotel. Entertainment caters more to French than English this should be worked on overall I would give the hotel and my experience 4 stars and for the price you can’t go wrong had an amazing week here! Don’t be put off by negative reviews to book!

Good big hotel. The staff are friendly. We had booked an adjoining room, but we're given two in the same corridor. Took 2 days to get this changed as reception staff forgot. They had some on an upper level. Big pool is massively busy. Its easier to sit near the kids pool and have a dip to cool down. Food is hit and miss. Lots of the same dishes every lunch and dinner time. The entertainment is all in French. It seemed to be the same dancing to a different song each night.

Since I'm traveling with two kids, I enjoyed the pools, the aquapark, the green view at the hotel, and the night animation

Cons: One of the staff members at the buffet restaurant, who seemed to be a supervisor and an older man, unfortunately showed behavior that didn’t reflect the hospitality expected. He was taking plates from guests’ tables with an angry expression. He even took my plate while I was still eating. When I told him, he slammed the plate back on my table in front of my kids. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name or face clearly. If I wasn’t on vacation and trying to avoid stress, I would have escalated the situation further. This is actually our second stay at the hotel — we first visited in June and came back in July because the kids really liked it. But encounters like this with staff make you reconsider booking again in the future

Please do not book here, we were saved by jet2 who moved us to there sister hotel 2 mins away thats a 4 star and this hotel is incredible the medina should be shut down, staff are rude, the rooms are awful (there isn't AC) and no tv remote first room also had the above and a leaking fridge, cracked floor tiles the second room (which we was left to move our bags too with no help, single mum 2 kids) was no better either as above but with a leaking sink a tap which can't turn on and broken shower. Pool lights floating loose in the pools with cables exposed, dirt in the ice cream, flies all over the food, food not cooked, not hot and endless queues as they can't manage re stocks sufficiently, staff couldn't care, openly ignore you and serve themselves even when a queue for that particular food (pizza) staff member eating out of the chips tray with his hands while quests scooping chips on there plate. 1 drinks machine in the dinner hall for coke / fanta (7up never works) lack of cold water, warm bottle left on table if you get to the hall quick enough) bar staff during the day serving there mates then sitting chatting to them while no one serves waited 25 minutes for 1 drink, glasses smashed but still given out (daughter cut her lip on one) 2 more glasses sharp and smashed on the bottom, no plates or cutlery could ever be found and not on table when arriving, raised grid on the drains (trip hazard) steps do not have have any visible paint and reception staff do not want to help, was first told to come back in the morning for new room after water was all over our floor from leaking fridge so had to stay there and press them for a change and 2nd room was just as bad, sent all the photos and videos to the jet2 WhatsApp chat and on the 2nd day our rep met us there, we showed him around showed him the issues he was shocked how bad it was, he took us to the sister hotel 2 mins down the road a 4 star not a 3 star plus and it was a 1000x better we agreed to move we went back and he showed the evidence to the manager and he got it agreed for us to move but still able to use the watermark at old hotel if wanted (not sure we will as issue of safety now given the state of the place) we were also refunded £15 per person per night for the 1st night which we have accepted and feel jet2 handled this perfectly and efficiently, I would recommend jet2 to anyone and 100% book with jet2 again the rep even got them to send a golf buggy to collect us and our suitcases to the new hotel and at a new hotel the bell boy bought them to our room, we was never given this at the other hotel so it was hard work on my own eith 2 children. Bottom line madina not in a million years, Dar atlas resort yes!! We would come back here. I hope this review saves at least one person the stress we went through, and book with a travel agent if your not sure you can trust a hotel to provide what they advertise, some other people booking from love holidays where stuck there with no rep and no help. Oh and don't forget tourist tax is payable no matter who you book with and we're not high pleases either we normally stay in 3 star and jet2 confirmed they moved a couple the same morning as us that refused to stay even one night to this same hotel so we weren't the only ones unsatisfied

Unfortunately we are currently having a very poor experience at this hotel, this is very disappointing as this holiday cost us over £4000 for a week as booked through Tui. Pro’s - -Like many of the previous reviews have stated the hotel is dated, however the grounds are lovely and really have potential with a little investment. - The pool area is very nice with a good atmosphere, bring water shoes for the aqua park as the tiles are very slippery a young man cut his head open yesterday. - Animation team are fab and give 100% it’s a shame for them that the other members of staff really let the hotel down. Cons- -We currently have two rooms as a family of five, one of the rooms has no air con at all in 40 degree heat. -We are on day 3 and 2 of our children do not have pillows, there are spare pillows in the rooms but no pillow cases, we have asked and been ignored. -Food options are OK however there is very little in the way of allergen menus/options, between 2.30 and 7pm the snack bar offers some light meals, such as sausage and fries (sausages contain soy) we have gone at 4pm to order fries for our son who is dairy free and have been told that they have ran out, the solution the manger offered was to order in from Macdonalds at our own cost. At this time of day there are no other dairy free options. The manger also states “there is a vegetarian corner in the restaurant” apparently completely miss-understanding the difference between dairy free and vegetarian. -The queues for the bars are extremely long and you have to queue for everything from soft drinks, water to alcohol, the staff are very reluctant to serve you and appear to hate their jobs. -most importantly no support has been offered in terms of medical care for our son who has been throwing up since yesterday, the manager did not even acknowledge this when I raised it with him. - The hotel is not near any other amenities meaning that you cannot get food from elsewhere so really feel trapped and rather helpless.

Had a great stay at the hotel – clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. The real highlight was the entertainment team. Joe, Katy, and Speed were absolutely brilliant! They brought so much energy and made every activity fun and memorable. Whether it was games by the pool or evening shows, they kept everyone smiling. Big thanks to them for making our holiday extra special!

We stayed for 7 nights. Firstly, the hotel employees are what makes this the best stay. Joe from the entertainment team was fantastic with us all. My kids loved him. He made a point to involve us in all activities, from aqua aerobics to nightlife. Thank you Joe my kids were very grateful as we were we. Next to the mini club, just wow. Even though most kids and staff spoke French. Taha was the most amazing person. He made sure my children understood everything. He is a beautiful soul. We absolutely love him and miss him greatly. Taha is an absolute gem to this hotel. He spent time with my children even on his day off. Involving then in all activities, translating and dancing with them. Taha, we will be back for sure because you have become family to us.

So in honesty I would not return to the hotel until they sorted out the many issues they have. The main one being Air con! In over 40 degree heat, nights were almost unbearable in the rooms. Food wasn’t great either, however the hotel has so much potential. The staff were over all amazing and always work with a smile on their face and happy to help any time. My husband split his knee open on the side of the swimming pool within 2 hours of arrival, so please be careful getting in and out of the main pool. My son ended up with a bad ear infection from swimming, this resulted in a doctor coming out and 4 lots of medicine. I would really love to give a special mention to Fatima ezzahra benkhlifa. This lady is an angel in disguise! She works in the infirmary doing long hours and was never once without a smile. Her care and kindness was above and beyond. If you need medical help then this lady will certainly get you all the help you need. She personally went out and collected all prescriptions that was needed and the follow up care was outstanding. This lady is truly a credit to this hotel. There are other members of staff who deserve a shout out too but unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names. Thank you to them tho as although there was some issues we still had an amazing time with family and some of the staff really do go above and beyond.

Awful stay at this hotel!! No air conditioning in our room and ceiling covered in bugs. Reported this to staff and told no other rooms available but would clean the room, which made no difference whatsoever. Finally, after 2 days of complaining they moved us to a cleaner air conditioned room. Food awful and birds flying through the canteen. People cutting their feet on sharp tiles around the pool. Cleaners had a habit of not closing the room doors behind them. Had an item of clothing pinched from our room which was caught on CCTV. The management told us they couldn’t identify the person as they were wearing a mask and probably didn’t work at the hotel. Nothing they could do.

We booked this hotel through TUI and stayed as a couple in July. Overall, the hotel is clean and tidy, but quite dated, and there are a few important things travellers should be aware of before booking. First, this is not an English hotel. It mainly caters to French guests. Most of the entertainment, announcements, and activities are done entirely in French, with only a short English summary (if that). This is worth keeping in mind if you’re travelling with children, as even the children’s entertainment is mostly in French. The rooms and hotel do not have air-conditioning. They use a cooling air system, but it’s only somewhat effective especially during the hot months. It can get very warm and uncomfortable at times. The staff are friendly, but not in the way some English guests might be used. People can come across as more direct, and the customer service is not particularly warm or overly polite. Still, they are helpful if you ask. The main pool is large and lively, with lots of entertainment and music throughout the day, though it can get quite noisy during activities. There is an adults-only pool, but you have to pay extra to use it. We didn’t try the aqua park so can’t comment on that, but we did book a couples massage which was a let-down. It was not relaxing at all because the two masseuses talked and giggled to each other the whole time, which made it feel unprofessional and not worth the money. The massage itself was average at best. Food-wise, the buffet offers decent variety, but again it’s more suited to French tastes. Breakfast is mostly pastries. They have a pizza, burger and fries station, pasta but most of the food is Moroccan or French-inspired. The hotel offers excursions in the Tui office at the entrance and some of these were actually better priced than the TUI options, so it’s worth checking at the hotel desk before booking through the app. There is a cash machine in the hotel lobby, but be aware that it charges a fee each time you withdraw money. You can exchange cash at the hotel reception, or use your card to pay for any extras at the hotel. That said, if you go to the markets or around Marrakesh, you’ll need cash, as most places don’t accept card. Finally, just a heads up that tipping is expected in most places outside the hotel, especially for airport transfers and excursions. People can be quite direct in asking for tips, though this wasn’t the case with hotel staff. All in all, this hotel is reasonable for the price, but very clearly aimed at French-speaking guests. If you’re looking for an English-style resort or child-friendly entertainment in English, this might not be the best fit. Also as far as Tui goes, we were told the Tui rep is sometimes there but not regularly and staff were unsure if the rep would come at all during our stay. They will be responsive through the Tui application though. We had an issue where we booked a camel ride through the app but hadn’t received any confirmation and the rep was helpful in getting that through.

❌A ÉVITER ❌

Stayed at Valeria Club Madina 30/06 till 07/07.We stayed in room 618. First the bad points. We sent an email to the hotel even writing it in French hoping that if there was no reply we at least would see something from our request. We had our 1 year wedding anniversary on 5th July and asked for some acknowledgement or something special to commorate our day,we received no response and no recognition whatsoever despite being willing to pay to make things special for my wife. On our first evening we arrived at the hotel about 22:30 after a long day travelling with young kids of 2 and 4 years old,we were given wrist bands and asked to get some drinks and come back later to check in which seemed fine by me It was 41 degrees and even reception had no air conditioning the room air conditioning was also poor,so we were thirsty and the kids were crammed,I asked for 2 beers and two soft drinks to be told I was only able to order 2 drinks,I told them I have young kids who also need a drink and the bar man said please the big boss is in,the staff are lovely but the bar manager or general manager are clueless on how to run a hotel to be told I can only get drinks for me not my kids on an all inclusive is outrageous and makes no sense. On our 5th night we booked a trip to the Agafay Dessert and arrived back at the hotel at 23:00,(book the trip via booking.com and save and absolute fortune you'll realise just how much the excursions in the hotel rip you off). When we arrived back from the dessert it was past 11 so we were prepared to pay for drinks as clearly advertised to be told we could not do so.I had to forcefully request water and we were made to wait ten minutes and handed one small paper cup of water between 4 of us.No shops open nearby so no way of buying anything from a shop, again the low IQ management appear to have a very funny idea of hospitality and would be fired if this was the UK.To leave someone without even water after a trip to the dessert is borderline abusive.Dinnertime they had a BBQ but only made one pizza at a time in the pizza oven which caused horrendous ques (again the very dumb managers idea of a good plan).Same with the fries waiting for the tray to be filled and waiting in the July morrocan sun like cattle. Now the good bits ls which you'll be glad to know there is alot of good at this hotel. The food is plentiful and varied (remember it's all inclusive not michellin star cooked to order). The staff make this hotel and the holiday they really are fantastic the bar staff and the entire animation team are an asset. However they are marred by the decisions of management who are simply too dumb to make reasoned decisions. The rooms where ok and the maids were brilliant, also the drinks quality was great (You just struggle from about 22:00 due to silly managers whipping staff to only serve 2 drinks even if you are in a party larger than 2) all in all great value and a brilliant experience.Pools are lovely animation team are fist class andango restaurant (payable) is fantastic. Great holiday and beautiful hotel with very off and borderline abusive drinks policy.

Good 7 nights stay. Yes the hotel was a little dated, but clean. The food was good enough and there was always something for everyone 'even for fussy eaters'. We met Mazine 'assistant manager' who couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as could be expected. Most of the staff were really nice but they could all learn from Mazine who was a credit to the hotel.

A lovely lady called Farrah who works at the hotel in the restaurant Mango happened to make my holiday. My family had a sickness bug which ruined the first few days (started on the coach journey so before we actually arrived, no fault of the hotel). I had to go down to the main restaurant without my husband but with my children after being cooped up for days in our room and she made my first evening out so much easier - I have a 1 year old and a 5 year old... My 5 year old is absolutely besotted with her as she made a huge effort to make a fuss of him the whole holiday and especially on that night made him feel special which helped me so much and I was certainly grateful to have her around that evening, she's an absolute credit to the hotel!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The doctor and nurse of the hotel are also amazing and helped us with our baby when we were all poorly and got reception to move our room as the air-conditioning wasn't adequate for her to recover in. Unfortunately we had issues with our air conditioning most of the holiday it is not fit for purpose, power outages throughout the hotel on several occasions and the hotel couldn't provide me with a suitable cot for my baby. I spent most of the first 24 hours walking to and from reception (unable to ring from room) while we were all poorly asking reception for the cot and their response was that they could not provide me with one at the end of the second day, I suggested they go over to the sister hotel Atlas and when I asked to speak to the general manager and I was crying at this point with my sick children in tow as my husband has his head in the toilet I was absolutely sick to death of getting nowhere with reception I said enough is enough they then plucked a next to me style crib out of thin air. This was not suitable for a 1 year old, she can climb out of it and it's suspended so she would injure herself and so she slept in the middle of our double for the rest of the holiday with us. It's ridiculous to take bookings for infants and not be in a position to provide a cot. We booked over a year in advance of our holiday. This is the second holiday we have been to in Marrakesh and I've also been to Agadir so we are not new to Morocco but we have never had such a bad experience. The French guests are rude and push in front of everyone else despite there being obvious ques. I had two confrontations over this and happily pointed out how selfish and rude it is. So Farrah was pretty much a saving grace and is the only reason our holiday wasn't so bad after all 🤩

We recently returned from a fantastic holiday and I can honestly say it was one of the best we've had! From start to finish, everything was so well organized and enjoyable. The entertainment was absolutely outstanding – there was always something going on to keep everyone entertained. A special shout-out goes to Speed, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He made so much time for my son, always had a smile on his face, and his energy was infectious. He really made us feel welcome, and that meant a lot. All of the staff were amazing – friendly, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile. The food was good with a decent variety, and we never had trouble finding a sunbed no matter what time of day. Overall, a brilliant holiday experience. We're already thinking about coming back! Thank you to everyone – especially Speed – for making our trip so special.

We chose this hotel expecting a 4-star experience, but overall it felt closer to 2 stars. Our room had broken floor and wall tiles, a cracked shower tray, and the air conditioning didn’t work at all, which made it uncomfortable in the heat. Getting our room swapped took four separate trips to reception plus me contacting the rep — who, by the way, didn’t come to the hotel once during our stay. (Easy Jet) Other problems included a poor selection of drinks at the bar and too few staff to keep up with demand. Hygiene was also an issue: there were birds, wasps and flies over the food area, which is unacceptable for any standard. That said, there were some positives. The pools themselves were good, and the entertainment staff were genuinely friendly and did their best to keep guests happy. Overall, it was a real disappointment. This hotel badly needs maintenance work, better staffing, and improved hygiene before it can justify its 4-star rating. Exchanging currency at the hotel was also an issue, it depends who was on the reception and how they felt on the day

Everyone that worked in this resort was so lovely and welcoming. Speed especially made our family feel very welcome. Checking up on all the time to see if everything was okay. All the bar staff and maids. The waitresses all amazing. The dj roberto was great! All the staff made the holiday great! Only thing I will say is. Need better air con in the rooms.

I am fed up with the negative reviews of this hotel, which concerned us before we arrived. The hotel is perfectly fine and the staff work very hard to help you enjoy your stay. Yes, the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The food selection was excellent, we heard someone complaining about lack of selection when we were there and we really didn't understand it! The pool areas were really nice, although the waterpark was advertised as being closed, it was in fact open, and great fun. The drinks selection was OK. Don't expect branded spirits, but what they had was OK. The beer was local and quite nice as was the wine. I'm not sure what people expect but if you have booked this hotel and are worried, like we were, please don't be, you will have a good stay.
