Really enjoyed the laidback vibe of the lodge and their willingness to arrange an outstanding walk in the neighboring village. All the staff was great and Saeed our Berber village guide was outstanding.

A real haven, Hassan and the team were so welcoming and their Ecolodge is exactly that. We had lunch on the lawn and dinner with views of the hills. The walks from the lodge are not entirely obvious so definitely worth planning your trip and organising a guide…

This is a great place for the price and if you want to do some nice day hikes. Staff was great in recommending trails.

Very good in an idyllic position. Service very good. Only slight negative for me, others will disagree for obvious reason, is that the internet is incredibly slow. 660kbs. With a theoretical max of 11 MBs. They are trying to sort it.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf in de Ecolodge Ouirgane. Prijs/kwaliteit is uitstekend. We bevelen ook de Atlas experience tour met eten bij lokale berbers warm aan. We keren graag terug. Hamdulillah

This is a small hotel, one hour south of Marrakesh. It was a nice drive through a couple of villages and slowly climbing but you're in no way at a significant altitude. I asked for a car to take us from our hotel in Marrakesh. That was fine but in hindsight I should have arranged it myself and probably saved myself half the 70 euros I did pay. You could certainly arrange pickup from the lodge by someone from Marrakesh but we did use their (different) man, who drove us back and was friendly. I had been emailing Mohamed and he was helpful but he didn't offer lots of information unless asked. When you are there, there is nowhere else to eat, so you need to like tajines for dinner. There is a sweet little pool although unheated and was very cold in early April but still welcome after a 5-hour guided walk (arranged by the lodge, lunch halfway round) on a warm day around the valley. The guide was called Ibrahim and he was a brilliant guy with excellent English. Back at the lodge, in the bedroom there were no blackout blinds so take an eyemask or be prepared to wake up early! There was no TV but that was no problem and the internet did work but was a bit patchy. Breakfast was OK - pancakes, bread, boiled eggs, OJ, which we ate in the large garden on our two sunny mornings. All in all, it was a nice break from Marrakesh but don't go if you don't like walks and get bored quickly.

Beautiful lodge with great views, friendly staff and tasty food. Amazing value for money and would love to return. Very peaceful surroundings although we were a little unlucky with an inconsiderate family. Still found some space to relax.

Had a lovely stay, staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant to speak too. In the dining area for breakfast and dinner they prepared a lovely fire which was very welcome as it was cold. Water was hot in room, but it was differcult to keep the bedroom warm without using the heater. I’m sure in the summer months the style of construction will keep the rooms at a great temperature. Breakfast inc was good. I would love them to improve the initial entrance off the road, but once through the gates they are obviously spending time preparing the garden to grow veg, fruits and making it look a nice environment to spend time in.

Ecolodge is a fantastic place to stay, with a fantastic position in the Atlas Mountains. The rooms are large and clean with really lovely en suite shower rooms.. There are beautiful gardens and 2 great terraces where you can lie by the pool, or soak up the mountains all around you... It is peaceful and tranquil and a real haven. The staff were totally delightful... so helpful, friendly and accommodating ... we spent 4 days here and couldn’t fault it... Thank you to all the staff - we will definitely be back!

Staff were very friendly and helpful and we generally enjoyed our stay. There was a lovely roof terrace and garden to relax in after days out. We would recommend having your own transport when staying here as the transport arranged for us seemed quite expensive (transfer from Marrakech was reasonable at 40 Euro, but it cost 80 Euro to do a trip to the Tin Mal Mosque which was only an hours drive away). There are walks you can do from the lodge, but note that the route down the valley to Tassa Wirgane and beyond is now a major new road under construction and so no longer a good walking option.

This place was a real oasis. It is completely in the middle of nowhere, but very comfortable, and lovely staff. The food proper Moroccan, loads of it, and very tasty. We spent a whole week walking and lounging by the (unheated but very refreshing pool). We were very well looked after, and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Nicely rustic place but accessed by a one kilometre trip down a rutted dirt road. Very friendly manager and staff also very pleasant. Good standard of cleanliness and general maintenance. Breakfast was absolutely fine but dinner was a highlight - great tagines, couscous, homemade breads. Worth visiting just for the food!
