La terraza donde sirven el desayuno es lo que más nos gustó. Tiene vistas al "Secret Jarden" y es muy agradable. El desayuno te lo sirven muy ordenado y es bastante completo. Está muy bien situado y es tranquilo. El anfitrión estuvo atento a nuestras necesidades.

Cons: Me habria gustado disfrutar más de las estancias comunes como el patio central, pero las dimensiones no lo permiten.

Le Riad est situé dans la médina, dans un endroit calme tout en étant proche des rues commerçantes. Il est grand. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse est très bon, copieux et agréable. Le personnel est très agréable et nous avons été bien reçus.

Cons: Je trouve que le rapport qualité/prix concernant la chambre est un peu élevé. La chambre mériterait un petit coup de rénovation, l'étage avec les lits des enfants est dangereux ( la barrière tremble et l'escalier est dangereux car il n'y a pas de contremarche), proche des lumières (dangereux aussi).

Abdel was amazing — he took care of all my tours and made sure every detail was perfect. His help gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy Morocco with comfort and ease. Kawtar (whom I fondly called Jamila) was like family to me. Her kindness, warm smile, and genuine care made me feel at home every single day. She went above and beyond, and I will always remember the way she treated me with so much respect and love. Ismail was equally wonderful. He guided me, showed me directions, and always made sure I was safe and never lost. His patience and support meant more than words can say. Because of Abdel, Kawtar, and Ismail, my experience in Marrakech was not just a trip — it felt like being welcomed into a family. Un vrai coup de cœur pour ce riad ! L’endroit est calme, cosy et on s’y sent comme à la maison. L’emplacement est idéal, tout proche de la médina, mais suffisamment en retrait pour retrouver le calme après l’animation des ruelles. Le personnel est adorable et attentionné : chaque fin de journée, nous avions droit à un thé accompagné de petites douceurs, un vrai plaisir ! La chambre était impeccable, avec une literie très confortable, et tout était d’une propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et très complet, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. Et le gros plus : le jacuzzi sur la terrasse, un bonheur absolu après de longues heures de marche dans la médina. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et l’envie de revenir !

We had a fantastic stay at Samira Riads in Marrakech! Samira Riads is a group of four beautiful riads, and we stayed at Reves d’Orient. The location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk to the Medina. The Riad is peaceful, charming, and very well kept. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, especially with our kids. They made us feel right at home, even offering free tea (Moroccan whisky ☺️) and delicious cookies! Our 3-year-old son liked the tea a lot and felt very comfortable around the team. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech and will definitely come back on our next trip. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay at your Riad—Shukran 🥰👌🏾

Cons: Le petit cafouillage à l'arrivée, l'adresse ne correspondait pas à celle indiquée au moment de la réservation. Idem pour le nom du riad. Ce n'est qu'ensuite que l'on a compris qu'il s'agit en fait d'un groupe de plusieurs riads. Enfin, la medina c'est authentique et au plus près de jemaa lfna mais les ruelles sont inaccessibles en voiture et il vaut mieux être équipé de maps pour retrouver son chemin.

Riad je odličan, domaćin nas je dočekao uz zeleni čaj, prezentirao nam je malo Maroko. Preporučio nam je što je i kad je najbolje posjetiti. Doručak je raznolik i obilan. This was one one the beste stays we ever had. The staff was very kind and respectful and always available. The breakfast was authentic, as well as the room decoration. Even if the temperature outside was above 45°C, the rooms were cooled to below 20°C. Cooled, filtered water was free, which is a very generous service from the hotel provider! Recommendable in every case!

Cons: Maybe some more signs on the road, in order to find the hotel more easily, if you do not have an internet connection and google maps available.

The location couldn’t be better — just next to the Secret Garden and a short walk from all the main attractions like Jemaa el-Fna square. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness by the extraordinary staff: Abdo, Fatah, Fatima, and Fatiha. They made every single day feel special and treated us like family. Thanks to them, we really felt at home. Thank you very much!! The riad itself is cozy, charming, and tastefully decorated, with a lovely traditional atmosphere. The views from the terrace were a wonderful bonus — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the city. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, and we also had dinner at the riad on our first night — a fantastic meal full of flavor and made with love. For those looking to unwind, there are also hammam services available for guests, just around the corner from the riad — another great way to experience Moroccan culture and relax after a busy day. We can’t thank the team enough for making our stay in Marrakech so memorable. Highly recommended!

Cons: There were really no negative points about this riad, but if I had to mention something, it would be that sometimes there was a sewage smell in the ground floor room. That said, I believe it’s more of a general issue in Marrakech rather than something specific to the riad. In any case, the staff was always attentive and did their best to resolve it quickly.

Le petit déjeuner marocain revisité est un vrai festin, copieux et délicieux. Un immense merci à Abdelilah et Charaf pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité tout au long du séjour. La localisation est idéale, à seulement 10 minutes à pied de Jemaa El Fna. Petit conseil : Samira Riads regroupe plusieurs riads dans le même derb (Habib Allah), n’hésitez pas à appeler avant votre arrivée – le personnel se fera un plaisir de venir vous chercher et de vous guider jusqu’à votre riad. Je recommande vivement pour un séjour en famille !

It's a traditional house so we would hear voices from the courtyard below, but they had a quiet time rule between 10pm and 8 am (i think) so it was never a problem.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen! Sehr nette, aufmerksame und fürsorgliche Gastgeber ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr lecker. Man hat mir sogar extra Tee gemacht weil ich den marokkanischen aufgrund einer Unverträglichkeit nicht trinken kann. Tee und Kaffee wird ohne Zusatzkosten den ganzen Tag angeboten wenn man mag. Es war alles sauber und die Lage mitten in der Medina perfekt um alles zu erkunden. Das WiFi funktioniert ebenfalls überall im Riad hervorragend. Die Dusche funktioniert ebenfalls gut, immer warmes Wasser und genug Druck um sich auch vernünftig die langen Haare waschen zu können :) Einzig Bett und Kissen waren etwas hart und das Zimmer bietet nicht all zu viel Platz/ Abstellfläche. Da wir aber überraschend sogar ein Upgrade erhielten, war auch dies kein Problem für uns. Hätten wir das Zimmer wie gebucht bekommen wäre es etwa eng gewesen aber auch nicht dramatisch. Wir würden wieder hier buchen und können dieses Riad nur empfehlen :)

Adnan was waiting for us right where the taxi dropped us off and helped us carry luggage to the Riad. It's located in the heart of the old city where cars can't go so you walk through the amazing market to the riad. Abdo welcomed us so kindly and helped us figure out our itinerary and best practices for navigating the city while serving us fresh tea and biscuits. The breakfast on the terrace is so delicious with a beautiful view overlooking the secret garden. We had a large group of 4 adults and 5 children (all 8 and under) and everyone treated the children like royalty. Ismael was our primary host and was so incredibly helpful. We went off to the desert for an overnighter before flying out and they allowed us to leave our bags and offered us tea again even after we had checked out. And Adnan helped us carry luggage and walk us to the taxi both times, and refused to take any tip (though I wish he had!) My heart is just filled with joy and gratitude for such wonderful people that feel like a part of my extended family now. Can't recommend Riad Zehar enough. Note that it is also referred to as Riad Samira, but Zehar is on the name of the door :)

My friend was bedridden with a very bad cold for a few days and the lovely cook made her several rounds of soup, totally out of the kindness of her heart! We didn't ask for it and we have no idea how she even knew my friend was so sick! Say no more! When we were welcomed by the wonderful manager, Ishmael, he told us 'this is your home' and it certainly felt that way. I also thought the breakfast was an absolute stand out - they served Moroccan eggs which I hadn't had before at any other Riads, and they were utterly delicious!

Very centrally located, right next to Le Jardin Secret, and within walking distance of all of Marrakesh's major sights and architectural monuments. Excellent, very abundant breakfast that differed from day to day. Nice views of the old city from the rooftop terrace. Attentive staff and diligent cleaning.

Cons: My rooftop room ("Chawan") was small and I would have been very cramped if I hadn't been traveling solo. AC unit didn't work, so the room was stuffy my first couple of days until the weather cooled. Mosquitos were an issue, presumably due to the proximity of the garden. Tiny, inconspicuous sign made the property difficult to find when I first arrived. Despite advertising here that credit cards are accepted, required full payment in cash.

Desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa. Nos recibió Ismael, con su hospitalidad y nos explicó como ir a visitar cada lugar, indicándonos como debías utilizar el móvil sin conexión para seguir las rutas. Adnam, nos recibió donde nos dejó el transporte , un chico muy correcto ( también nos llevaba cada día el desayuno,) y nos llevó todo el equipaje en un carrito hasta el Riad, por todas las callejuelas dónde tuvimos en primer contacto con la ciudad. La habitación corrió a cargo de Fatiha, que hizo un trabajo estupendo de limpieza cada día. Los cinco días que estuvimos, nos sentimos como en casa, en familia. En la terraza tomábamos cada día un desayuno espectacular y allá íbamos en cada momento que nos apetecía un té y a relajarnos . Íbamos tres amigas y os lo recomendamos encarecidamente, tanto por la ubicación, que es magnífica, como por el trato y las instalaciones.Muchisimas gracias a ese equipo que nos hizo encontrarnos tan a gusto y en casa. Un abrazo.

The location was fantastic in the middle of the Medina. The staff were very friendly and helpful (although there were instances where we were given too imprecise information which cost us unexpected expenses). The breakfast was very good. There was good cleaning.

Cons: On arrival we were assigned a completely dark room that had no windows for daylight but only a small window to the common area. The room did not correspond at all to the pictures we had seen before. The beds were very hard. The door was very difficult to close and there was a crack in the door so we could see out into the common room. One night when it rained there was a big puddle outside our door. We immediately indicated that we were very unhappy with the room. However, it was not possible to get a better room until after 2 days and we could not get our money back so we could rent something else. We therefore had to spend 2 days in the bad room and the very hard beds. Afterwards we got a better room with daylight and ok beds. Especially compared to the price level in Marrakesh for accommodation in general, it was very expensive to stay at Riad Zehar & Spa. We have the impression that this generally applies to staying at a riad. You can get far more comfort in a hotel for the same money, that is our impression. We would therefore encourage you to consider whether you want to pay a relatively large amount of money to stay in a riad. And in any case, you must make sure in advance that you do not get the room on the ground floor next to the common area, if you want to stay at Riad Zehar & Spa

Last minute booking and we didn’t regret it, large and clean room with a beautiful decoration, delicious breakfast, bathroom is big and clean. Terrace had this stunning view to other riads I loved it, breakfast was delicious and more than enough that we couldn’t finish it.

Cons: We booked a room with the preference that booking has given us 1 king bed and 2 twin bed since we have kids and the reservation shows it as well but the woman on phone was just rude and saying something else to her colleague (who was very nice and gentle) it was some issue on booking that’s why not my fault, I didn’t like that I had to pay by euro when I wanted to change it with Dhs next morning. Our first experience in morroco and we were so amazed. Our flight was 6 hours late and we needed a hotel at 3 in the morning. N we just took a booking here as it was a reasonable price. We had kids and it had been a long day. We got here and a very kind man was waiting who helped with the luggage as it quiet inside rhe streets once there we needed food for kids at 3 in the morning! N they arranged it and lovely breakfast in the morning. We even stayed longer then what we paid for but were not charged more. The ladies and men working there are super kind hospitable. N not to forget it's abousletely beautiful.hotel! Such a surprise. An honest review!

El trato ha sido por demás, excelente!! Abdo súper amable desde el minuto 1. La habitación súper bonita, amplia y limpia. Todas las instalaciones en general, tienen todo en su sitio. Pero sin duda lo que más destaco, es el trato de Abdo y tod@s lo que trabajan en Zehar, la verdad es que hacen todo para que tú estancia sea como de estar en casa. The pool and the roof terrace were great. The room was lovely, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and AC and everything was clean. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, we were made to feel so welcome and they did everything to ensure we had a great time. Abdul was so kind and gave us plenty of recommendations, tips and made us feel super safe. The breakfast was delicious too! We made use of the spa and it was so relaxing and great value for money, this is the best place I’ve ever stayed - way better than a fancy hotel! It is on a quiet back street but we had no trouble going to and from even at night, it’s in a great location and easy to find once you’ve got your bearings - you can always call for help if needs be but it wasn’t necessary for us

La gentilezza e l'ospitalità del personale sono state sicuramente i fattori che spiccavano in questa struttura, ci siamo sentiti a casa tutto il tempo ed il personale era disponibile a qualsiasi tipo di richiesta . Abdel ci ha aiutato per quanto riguarda tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno nella Medina e ci ha preparato dei the squisiti in qualsiasi orario , oltre a farci capire i principi della cultura del posto . Samiira la proprietaria è stata disponibilissima e molto gentile anche quando eravamo in overbooking per lasciare le valige nel Riad ed in generale molto chiara e concreta in tutte le nostre richieste . Sicuramente lo consigliamo a tutti e non esitate a chiedere informazioni perché sicuramente vi aiuteranno in una realtà che non è a noi sempre familiare .

Il riad é piccolo ma carino, la stanza molto caratteristica e una doccia molto grande e bella. Sul tetto c'é una bella terrazza dove potersi godere il venticello serale. La posizione é eccellente, vicinissima a ristoranti bar e negozi, a 5 minuti a piedi da piazza Jemaa El Fna e a 5 minuti a piedi da un paio di punti dove fermano i taxi. Eccezionale la gentilezza del personale, in particolare del nostro uomo di riferimento Abderrahmane. Consigliatissimo per soggiorni a Marrakech!

Très joli riad en plein cœur de la médina et des souks. Chaleureux et très agréable à 2 pas du très beau Jardin Secret. Très jolie terrasse où il fait bon boire un petit thé à la menthe au calme. À moins de 10 minutes de la place Jamma El Fna. Un grand merci à tout le personnel pour l'accueil, notamment Ismail, qui a vraiment été très aux petits soins, et de très bons conseils. Merci également à Anass et Fatiha (désolée si je me suis trompée sur l'écriture !) pour tous les services apportés ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé la chambre, un vrai petit nid douillet.

Séjour parfait en tout point dans ce superbe Riad au calme au cœur de la Médina et à 8 minutes de la place Jemaa El Fna. Abdou est un hôte très attentionné et plein de très bons conseils pour apprécier l'effervescence de la Médina. Il a vérifié nos taxis et activités en les appelant pour être sûr que tout se passe bien! Il était même prêt à nous accompagner à 5h30 du matin pour aller prendre un taxi! Exceptionnel! D'ailleurs, n'hésitez pas à lui demander de vous réserver un taxi pour l'aéroport, c'est le mieux! Le petit-déjeuner maison est excellent, les chambres parfaitement propres et spacieuses. Allez-y les yeux fermés, ce sera un séjour dont vous vous rappellerez!! Merci Abdou

Mohammed hat uns sehr nett empfangen und sich immer Zeit für all unsere Fragen und Anliegen genommen. Wir durften in ein anderes Riad in der Nähe wechseln, wo wir ein grösseres Zimmer hatten. Das Frühstück wurde uns auf der wunderschönen Terasse serviert, sogar früh am Morgen. Das Riad ist sehr familiär geführt und wundervoll authenthisch eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank wir kommen gern wieder. PS: Es empfiehlt sich, sich abholen zu lassen. Die Strassen sind sehr verwinkelt und das Riad ist nicht einfach zu finden.

Host Abdo offered us choice between 2 Riad's of which we liked one. Everyday break fast was excellent and freshly made. Each day juice and eggs makings were different. Riad staff was very friendly and responsive to every need & request. Room was cleaned everyday. Staff responded very well to - our late night arrival, very early morning departure and adhoc requests.

Cons: Neighborhood ally's could have been more cleaner. Riad could offer more customized or even cutdown lunch/dinner menu. There was no light in my room near wardrobe.

Mohammed was above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The interiors of the riad were astonishing. Sweet breakfast served on terrace. Our room was upgraded twice to accommodate our needs, we travelled with children. Bed very comfortable, bathroom clean with hot water. Tea and coffee served at any time we asked. Good location in Medina, close to main square.

Cons: Perfect location in the centre of Medina, so you cannot drive in with a car, closest car park 10 min walk. It is very close to main square, shops and restaurants. A bit hard to find the location but it is a true hidden gem.

Cons: Familjerummet bestod av två rum med dubbelsängar belägna med en långsmal hall ifrån varandra . En toalett med dörr, en toalett med dusch fanns men utan dörr. Det var otroligt lyhört i hela huset. Det rummet jag o min dotter var tvungna att sova i (barnen kunde inte sova själva i egna rum pga dunkelheten samt att deras rum inte var anpassat för barn (dubbelsäng o orientaliskt badkar och utan fönster som släpper in ljus) hade en trappa ner från sängen som ledde till en dörr som vi inte visste var den ledde till. Mitt i natten hörde vi hur män stod o pratade utanför den dörren, hur nycklar prasslade och sedan hur dörren låstes upp ! Det visar sig sen att det är ngn annan dörr som låses upp o inte dörren som vi låg i sängen och tittade på. Dunkel känsla i rummen , ett litet fönster hade vi i vårt rum, när vi öppnade det så bolmade det in lukter av folk som ”rökte på” utanför. Vi hade bokat tre nätter och förbetalt beloppet om 6500 SEK men kunde inte stanna på det stället pga både planlösningen samt gränden som boendet låg på. Efter att ha visat film på det som skedde mitt i natten (till personen som var ansvarig på plats) så gick personen vi pratade med med på att debitera oss hälften av summan för de nätterna vi hade förbetalt; inte ok egentligen med tanke på att vi bokade rum för två vuxna och två barn i åldrarna 8 och 11 år. Familjerum gavs inte, reglerna om hur tyst det skulle vara mellan 22:00-08:00 uppfylls verkligen inte . Att boendet är beläget i en gränd , att folk i området är obehagliga (parkera bilen 15 min promenad från boendet där vi var tvungna att betala 400 kr till en man i väst ; som inte arbetar för staten) var såklart inte boendets fel eller ansvar men jag skulle aldrig rekommendera detta boende för en familj med barn . Kvinnan som fått så bra betyg på booking var inte heller på plats .

Great location. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Staff accepted to be paid with a credit card which is rare in Morocco (everyone wants to be paid cash only there). Breakfast was the best we had in all of Morocco. What was the most amazing was that it was not the same exact breakfast day after day (we stayed 4 nights). Location is great. Walking distance from all of the main tourist attractions. Not far (10 minutes) walking distance from a road where you can be dropped off or picked up. Only 20 minutes from airport. The beds were comfortable (most other places we stayed in Morocco had very very firm beds, but not here). Hot water for showering was never a problem.

Cons: Rooms are not very big and the price is ridiculously expensive compared to Everywhere else in Morocco. (But all of the accommodations are over priced in Marrakech.). The toilet room we had did not smell good at all (but I don’t think the riad could have done anything about that. That seems pretty normal in the medinas.)

We booked this riad, but the owner have more riads in the same zone and they actually putted us in one called Princesse Du Desert, and is the best thing that could have happened to us. Abdo the host is amazing, he’s very helpful and friendly. Also all the staff there is very welcoming and charming. The place is very clean, the breakfast is AMAZING, and is near all the important places. I recommend it if you want to be in a very good environment. PD: the street to go to the riad might see scary, but it isn’t at all, we’ve stayed for 4 days and the neighbours already knew us, also in case you dont want to walk through that streets at night you can call Abdo and he will look for you so you feel safe. I would give it a 15 if it was possible.

That Riad and the people managing it were great. I even came back later. They did everything to make my stay comfortable. Since I was going to Sahara next day , person managing the Riad , woke up earlier to prepare breakfast for me at 7am. On roof floor they have a nice view to Secret Garden, what is super nice feeling after getting out from small crowded streets of Medina. They knew at what time I arrive and since that was winter time , they wormed up my room so I feel comfortable. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Cons: Maybe the location is hard to find but people managing the Riad will do all to help you find the place :)

I booked this Riad second time on my stay in Marrakesh. This time because of the low season time , Abdo took me to their another Riad which had even higher standard. After coming back from my trip from Essaouira this was exactly what I was looking for, super comfortable bed and warm room with warm shower. Delicious breakfast and chilling in the sun on the roof top. Interior and rooms of that Riad are looking great. Definitely coming back and recommending that place to all my friends !

Mohamed es el unico que se salva, pero Abdu solo queria sacarnos el dinero vendienos comida y taxis y excursiones y cualquier cosa a precios super desorbitados para inflarse los bolsillos, diciendonos que cualquier otra cosa eran estafas o timos, todo menos lo que el nos queria vender basicamente.

Cons: No hay NI PUERTAS en el baño ni en la calle, no esperes tener intimidad en ningun momento, el wifi no funciona NI UNA VEZ, dicen que el desayuno es super fresco y que preparan ellos la comida que no lo guardan en la nevera y es todo mentira, es bolleria que compran por centimos y zumos de bote. Para colmo nos cobraron 2 euros por dos fotocopias de los billetes de avion y nos dijeron que era precio de amigos. Si hubiesemos pagado la mitad de precio por el alojamiento pues sinceramente me da igual todo, pero pagamos 600 euros por 6 dias y no nos hemos sentido TAN ESTAFADOS en nuestra vida. En ningun viaje en europa hemos pagado tan caro algo de tan mala calidad. Son unos estafadores y si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y intimidad este no es tu sitio, todo lo que te quieren vender en la medina tambien te lo venden estando dentro del riad. Horrible, no repetiriamos jamas

We booked in Zehar Raid, but the host gave us a bigger room in another Riad, thinking about our comfort, and for the same price, it was lovely!! We stayed in Riad Palais Des Princesses, and it was, beautiful. Abdo, the person working there, went to pick us up when we arrived to find the place quickly, and he was always helpful with information about the spa, the culture, and the places to visit. The rooftop of the place and the breakfast were amazing!

Bardzo przyjemny ze smakiem urządzony Riad z wygodnym holem i pokojami - wspaniałym tarasem tuż obok ogrodów i gościnnym , pomocnym personelem zachęcającym aż nadto do skorzystania z Ich szczególnej , lepszej niż wszędzie indziej -szerokiej oferty - byliśmy w polecanej łaźni Hammam - bardzo miło choć obietnica używania jednorazowych myjek nie została spełniona ( i jednak dostałem wysypki której miało nie być …) daliśmy się też namówić na obiad na tarasie Riadu - serwis bardzo sprawny i przyjazny jednak jedzenie nie było aż tak wyjątkowe jakim się okazało w rzeczywistości ! Mimo tych uwag polecamy ale z rozsądkiem jeśli chodzi o dodatkową ofertę …

The breakfast was incredible. The staff was more than accommodating. I informed one of the staff members that I would be leaving for the day at 5am, to which the staff offered to wake up early and make me breakfast. I told him it was not necessary as I didn't want to be an inconvenience, but he insisted. He woke up and make me a lovely breakfast for the day, I was so impressed. I have never stayed at an establishment with such excellent customer service! The Riad was also extremely clean, had a great location, and the staff had excellent recommendations! I highly recommend staying here.

Rarely do I leave reviews, but this is so well deserved that I have to! If you are looking for a beautiful and clean Riad in the center of the Medina, where you will be treated like family and cooked some amazing breakfast each and every morning, and where everyone will always take an extra step to help you, then that's the place for you! Abdo gave us some really good advices to help us enjoy our experience. He recommended the best food to try, products to buy. He gave us tips about prices and how to bargain. Him and the rest of the team are really amazing!

El personal tanto abdo como Amy compañero de trabajo súper amables y atentos en todo. La ubicación es muy buena en mismo centro de la Medina, la habitación la cama es muy grande y cómoda con aire acondicionado que se agradece siempre y los desayunos increíbles en su terraza.

Our stay at Riad Zehar was absolutely amazing. We couldn't have wished for anything better. The riad is perfectly located in a quite neighborhood in the middle of the medina. It is only a 10 minute walk to the big square through the busy souks. The Riad is very clean as the lady's work very hard and are super kind. The rooms have everything that you need. The breakfast is huge and varies every day. We were welcomed by Abderrahman who treated us like family. From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome. He works very hard to make the experience amazing. He will arrange anything that you want. From organising day tours, to making sure you don't pay a tourist price for products / taxi's. He even stays up in the middle of the night to walk you back through the confusing souks. You will never need to worry about anything while Abderrahman is your host. Truly an amazing person. Riad Zehar is one of three Riads managed by the same staff in the neighborhood. We were continuously invited to the other riads to use their facilities. We had an unforgettable experience thanks to all the staff at the riads and would love to come back.

l’emplacement, le cadre terrasse donnant sur le jardin secret, magnifique et le calme . Et pour finir le personnel adorable Fatiha qui fait la cuisine et s’occupe du ménage, et Yasinne , une très belle rencontre, qui a était au petit soin avec nous, grâce à eux nous nous sommes senti comme à la maison .

La struttura si trova nel pieno centro della Medina, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale. Appena siamo arrivati ci hanno accolto con un tè di benvenuto e ci hanno spiegato tutti i servizi che forniva la struttura, abbiamo fatto una bella chiacchierata di mezz’ora! Ci siamo sentiti veramente a casa grazie a Yassine e Fatiha, sono stati dei padroni di casa perfetti, premurosi ed educati. Inoltre il riad dispone di una bellissima terrazza che affaccia sul giardino segreto, in cui tutte le mattine servono una colazione strepitosa. La bellezza di svegliarsi presto e passare almeno un’ora su quel terrazzo non ha paragoni! Grazie ancora a Yassine per la sua disponibilità e simpatia, non ce lo dimenticheremo mai♥️

Location is perfect, in the center of the medina. Inside patio and terraces are very nice, with a nice view. Nice places to sit. Person greeting at the door and arranging taxi is very friendly. Everything was very clean.

Cons: The family room has small sleeping sections, one of which without windows at all. Very dark and a bit cave-like. The sink to wash one's hands is very small (and i am very small). The water in the shower is not too warm.

Le traditionnel, vraiment chez l'habitant en plein cœur de la médina, bon petit déjeuner chaque jour malgré nos heures changeantes. Le personnel à trouvé très vite un arrangement pour nous satisfaire au vu de la chambre qui ne nous convenait pas. Suite de séjour dans le riad Samira (hammam paradis) super hammam que nous vous conseillons vraiment après avoir fait l'expérience d'un massage complet d'une heure.

Cons: La soirée proposée avec danseuse orientale. Soirée rapide début 19h30 et fin 21h30 service à revoir, pas le temps de mangé l'entrée que l'on nous sert le plat suivant. Danseuse disparue pour laisser place à des musiciens traditionnels. Soirée à la va vite

Cons: The Communication with the hosts was sometimes a bit complicated during the day. Staff not always present in the rihad during the day, and sometimes the people who are there don't speak neither French or English. Funnily we tried to communicate through sign languages.. Could ameliorate also accommodations such as soap and shampoo missing in the room or could be nice to have a welcome bottle of water.

Cons: Pas de savon pour se laver les mains ni de bouteille d’eau dans la salle de bain quand on sait qu’on ne peut pas boire l’eau au Maroc, c’est dommage. Mais peu d’importance car le Riad est très agréable.

The msemmen they serve at breakfast was really nice, but the breakfast was the same every morning which got a little boring. The beds were comfy. Most of the staff were really nice apart from Uttman and the fact that some of our cash went missing, presumably the cleaner of the rooms.

Cons: On arrival, after a long day of travel, they demanded we pay for the rooms in cash up front and fill up forms about our stay. This was an awful experience as all we wanted was to get into our rooms, use the toilet, and freshen up after the tiring travel we just went through. There was no mention that we needed to pay in cash up front otherwise that would have been arranged before arrival instead of being forced to withdraw cash from the ATM which incurred charges for each withdrawal as there was a limit on the amount you could withdraw in one go. The host named uttman talked too much when we were clearly knackered and couldn't be bothered to have a conversation about the history of marrakech at 9 O'clock in the evening. He didnt respect our personal space either as he wouldnt leave us alone to get comfortable in our rooms. The AC in my room wasnt working so i was given a different room for what was supposed to be 1 night while they fixed the AC. It wasnt fixed until 3 nights later. Bearing in mind my total stay was for 5 nights. This was uncomfortable because i wasnt able to unpack properly in anticipation of moving back into my first room. So on the 4th night I was forced to move back into my room at 10pm in the evening after coming back from a really long day out in the mountains. Even while knowing this Uttman refused to let me stay in the room one more night because apparently the room was booked for someone else the following day. I refuse to believe that it couldnt wait until the morning for me to leave the room after i have rested up like a normal check-out would've been. The room wasnt even cleaned up until the morning while i was having breakfast. So this just proves that it could have waited, but this man was happy to inconvenience me anyway. All the rooms in this place do not have locks on their doors. All the doors and windows open up to the main lobby, even the windows in the bathrooms. Cant open anything without compromising privacy!
