Das Riad Dar Nakous ist eine Oase in mitten der hektischen und pulsierenden Medina. Die Einrichtung, die Mitarbeiter, insbesondere Mohammad und sein Team, die mit Hingabe und viel Freundlichkeit und Liebe den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie mƶglich gestalten. Die Lage des Riads ist perfekt!
Cons: Das einzige āunbequemeā war das Bett bzw. die Kissen. Es haben alle verschiedene āVorliebenā wie flaches/hohes Kissen usw. Ich persƶnlich fand es eher unbequem und kein Kissen hat mir gepasst. Das ist aber einzig und allein der negative Punkt.

Cons: Dans notre chambre, il y avait peu de place entre le lit et les murs et les portes de la toilette et de la salle de bain se chevauchant, la circulation est rendue compliquƩe dans le petit espace... mais cela ne change pas notre avis super positif.

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was exceptional. Their attention to detail was amazing. I loved the little birds chirping in the morning! The location is relatively close to the taxi pick-up/drop-off and the main square. Additionally there are a number of very good restaurants very close for dinner, as well as dinner at the hotel. If you have particular roof top restaurants or bars you would like to visit make sure you get reservations.
Cons: We ended up spending more time in the north part of the medina, so the walk from the south to the north was always busy and crowded....not necessarily bad, but definitely the "full experience"

I think the property is very well maintained and is located very nicely in the Medina.
Cons: I thought the space was very small but my other stays in Riads had given me the wrong impression. The other one I stayed in was more spacious with gardens and an actual pool area to lay out and catch some sun at the end of the day of sightseeing.

Colazione buona e abbondante. Bella la terrazza dove fare colazione o rilassarsi bagnandosi nella piccola piscina. Anche se avevamo la camera al piano terra abbastanza vicino all'ingresso non ci sono mai stati rumori fastidiosi. Lo consiglio tranquillamente.
Cons: Un po' di odore dal bagno, ma sopportabile. Suggerisco di variare la colazione aggiungendo qualcosa di salato.

Our host/receptionist was the sweetest and helped us with everything. The location was perfect and right in the middle of all the shops, but it was still quiet in the room. We spent 4 nights at Riad Dar Nakous and it was very comfortable and spacious. It was beautifully furnished with everything we needed and a very comfortable and clean bed. It is in a very central location, however it was very quiet in the room to allow for proper rest. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and always willing to share recommendations and tips during our stay in Marrakech. They truly looked after us and we enjoyed our exchanges between them š They also helped us organise our taxi ride to the airport and helped us with our luggage upon departure which was very helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay in Riad Dar Nakous - Karim and the team were brilliant and went the extra mile to make us feel at home right away. The Riad is an oasis of calm tucked away from the busy streets - rooms are stylish and absolutely spotless. The roof terrace is a lovely both in during the day and in the evening and weād recommend the airport transfer organised by the Riad. Overall a 10/10 property!

Riad Dar Nakous is very nicely located. Even though its in the medina, it is very near taxi cabs and shuttles. We found the bed to be quite large and very comfortable. We have stayed in scores of properties over the years and bed comfort is a very high priority. This one did not disappoint! Staff was very attentive. Especially Kareem who catered to our every need, especially meal preparation. We would stay here again.

So beautiful, clean, safe, quiet! Best riad in the Medina! Managers Karin (night) and Mohammed (day) were really great - super professional, helpful, responsive, kind - absolutely top notch! Karin even came to meet us at our taxi (drop-off point is a short walk thru non-car alleys) to lead us to the riad and helped with our luggage, and he did the same when we left. Lovely breakfast each morning, prepared and served either by Karin (if earlier, 8am-ish) or the wonderful ladies (9am-ish to noon-ish) - prepared on arrival to the lovely rooftop patio, such a nice way to start the day! Coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, nice cut fruit + yogurt + granola, some cooked items such as crepes/ pancakes/ others, moroccan sweet breads, cheese, butter, marmalade, jam - and sunny and serene with bird songs all around. One morning we had to leave quite early for a day trip to Ait Ben Haddou and Karin was so kind to put together breakfast-to-go for us! Our room was absolutely beautiful; only 5 rooms total at this riad. Room was lovely, clean and spacious, bed was so comfortable. There was a safe for valuables in the room. AC/ Air con in room worked well. Nice bathroom, toiletries provided, great water pressure in shower, plenty of hot water. Really loved staying here and would stay again, highly recommend Dar Nakous!

Riad Dar Nakous is a well located property within the medina that is visually stunning when you walk in. However, the real positive about the place is the staff. The staff were excellent throughout, especially Ismail who went out of his way to make our stay so good. The breakfast was nice and traditional in the morning. The room was cleaned daily. WIFI worked well. Amenities is what we needed. Airport transfer worked very well.

The Riad organized a hotel pickup and took us directly to the front door. We were greeted by Mohammed and given tea and some snacks on the roof terrace. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and very helpful in giving recommendations and local knowledge. Breakfast in the morning was amazing. Really enjoyed our stay and exceeded our expectations!
Cons: The pool is very small, but we knew that before we booked it, so it was not a surprise. The Riad staff recommended Beldi Country Club and organized transport which is a lovely quiet hotel resort with multiple pools and a restaurant - can't recommend this enough!

The location is right in the middle of the Medina, which is great if you want to explore gardens, museum and local food. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The terrace where the breakfast is served is very pleasant to sit on in the morning as the sun is warming it . The staff in the Riad is very welcoming and they are always ready to help if you have any questions.
Cons: Itās quite noisy. The walls are thin and you can hear everything. If you plan to take an afternoon nap that would be impossible but during the night between 10:30 until 8 am it was always quiet. The warm water will run off if you like to take very long showers and need to wait a little for it to come warm again. There is no TV nor a fridge in the room( maybe they bring on request, honestly I didnāt ask) The breakfast is comprised of sweets only so if you like eggs make sure you let them know.( the staff was very nice and made sure we got boiled eggs)

Riad Dar Nakous is an island of peace and serenity located in the heart of the bustling medina, but very easy to reach. Its rooms, the terrace and the cloister are as amazing as amazing as they look in the pictures: the elegant taste with a modern and ethnic taste has an impact on the enjoyment of the stay, because youāre constantly surrounded by well curated beauty and harmony of shapes and colors. Room is spacious (mine was n. 3) and perfectly clean, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom seems a little personal hammam. Staff has been so kind and amazing; I immediately and always felt at home! The terrace is a gem; I couldnāt take advantage of the pool because temperature was a little bit too cool (at least for me), but it was very relaxing sunbathing while listening to the water gushing. Breakfast was included and I also had dinner on the day of my arrival: food was delicious! Everything was so fresh, delicate and yummy!

The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable beds i have slept in for a long time. Also the two guys that run the place are great, they're very helpful and accommodating.
Cons: The booklet they have in the room stated that breakfast finishes at 12 but it's actually 11. maybe they need to update these to save disappointment for anybody who may have had a late morning.

The managers were very helpful with advise of how to get to the Riad, which made the experience easy as navigating marshes can be daunting. Itās easy to get to after a taxi ride from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful, Breakfasts were fantastic. The riad is perfectly positioned for easy access to the main square and Souks. Itās quiet and comfortable.

Best stay ever..! Good location, Amazing breakfast, Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, Clean and traditional Moroccan room, Loved the entire stay! Staff are always helpful and friendly, they always gave us amazing recommendations and assisted with booking restaurants and transportation. Go for this property, you won't regret it š„° tried to extend our stay but unfortunately rooms are fully booked but we will be back! š

The breakfast on the rooftop was just amazing, so fresh and abundant. The whole riad has been recently renovated so everything is clean and fresh. Loved the bed: big, comfy and with lovely soft bedsheets. Our room was on the ground floor facing the reception, and we kept the curtains closed at all times for extra privacy to avoid being too exposed to the upper floors guests.

We reached quite early and ofcourse the room was not ready but we were anyway offered an amazing homemade breakfast at the terrace. This was the perfect welcome to Marrakech for us. The Riad is located super centrally and everything is walking distance!
Cons: The windows of the room were not soundproof at all and even if anyone was speaking slow we could hear quite loud for there being an open courtard and the windows of room opened into the courtyard itself.

The rias had recently been fully renovated and featured a lovely contemporary Maroccan interior. Mohcine, one of the staff members, was very friendly and helpful in pointing out all the local highlights. The breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was the best we enjoyed in our stay in Marocco.

The Riad was perfect, a nice quiet relaxing place to stay just outside the medina, far enough for relaxation but close enough to a lot of the main features of marrakech. Our room was exceptional with a view of the courtyard from the balcony which was lovely to see every morning. We had all the facilities offered in our room from a walk in wardrobe to a large walk in shower. Very spacious for 2 people which was perfect. The staff were second to none, meeting our needs every day including making fresh breakfasts to arranging excursions for us and any little questions we had or advice, they were helpful straight away.

The location was fantastic - really convenient and fairly easy to find. The building itself and the room was beautiful. We loved the pool on the roof too, which was one of the reasons we chose it. The room was surprisingly quiet considering the location. The breakfast was good and changed slightly every day.
Cons: The riad is advertised as having a 24 hour reception but we found it difficult to find anyone apart from at breakfast! When we checked in, we asked if it was possible to get a kettle in a room. They said no (which is fair enough) but that we could ask for tea whenever we liked. This was very difficult when we couldnāt find anyone! This was particularly strange when coming back late in the evening. They didnāt have water available either, and we felt annoying when asking for anything. It would make sense for them to have an honesty bar if they do not have staff. The service was generally lacklustre and as though they couldnāt really be bothered. The roof terrace could have been beautiful but was all slightly grubby and it was a shame that we couldnāt purchase any drinks or make ourselves a tea instead. Generally, it was fine but much more like a hostel or rented rooms.

The Riad was very cute. We had our breakfast on the rooftop every morning which was a great selection of yogurt, bread, crepes, eggs, fruit and condiments. It was slightly different each day. The rooms were cleaned every day. The location was perfect as it was about a 5 min walk to the main square and close to the taxi rank. The Riad is about 10/15 mins drive away from the new town.
Cons: The only down side which I think applies to most Riad buildings is that they do echo and so some early mornings we were woken up by other guests.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Abdul gave us a lot of advice. Isamil is always happy to heat up the pool for us, and the lady is also friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home with their hospitality. The riad is in a good location, and our room looks nice. It is highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Dar Nakous! The staff were all really helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. They really made ud feel at home. The Riad was really clean and cozy but still very stylishly decorated. Our room was spotless and done up every day. Very central location close to Jama el Fna.

Fantastic Riad Great location and friendly staff. When we arrived our transport contacted the Riad and Ismail collected us from the car park and took us directly to the Riad, on our return Abdou took us to where our transport was waiting to go to the airport, on our last day Abdou made us breakfast early as we had a morning flight. The staff are amazing and were always asking how we were and if we needed any assistance, the staff were knowledgeable and were always ready to help with anything such as places to go or eat, Shama cleaned the rooms every morning and the place was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommended this Riad and is only a very short walk to the main square.
