The Riad was located in a small by-lane close to the Jemaa El Fana square. This is a fine property created by combining 4 Riads. So there were kind of 4 separate different wings. The reception service was excellent Simo gave a quick guide with the city map, places to eat & go. The decor of the entire riad was excellent with fountains in the courtyards. Terrace was accessible via an escalator. The breakfast spread was huge, a mix of continental & Moroccan fare. The room & the bathroom were quite small...we were allotted with, what I think, was a single room (Fatima) even though the request was for a double. The bed was smaller than a King size bed & hence small plus there was hardly any space between the bed & the side walls. Toiletries provided in the bathroom were of good quality. We spent two nights in this Riad

This riad is tucked away in the medina and worth seeing out. Rooms are said to be small, but they are beautiful little jewels. They do not have numbers, but have names. I was in “Meriem” (its category is “Double Deluxe”) located in a small courtyard with a lovely fountain. It has a queen size bed, a sofa, two closets, two chandeliers and a lovely little bathroom. It is in the same courtyard as the restaurant, which I considered a plus. The buffet breakfast is generous and their fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious. I was able to easily get wi-fi for phone and laptop but it was best to use at at off-peak times Reception and restaurant staff are exceedingly helpful and very nice. it is a bit of a walk across Jemaa el Fnaa to where taxis and buses drop you off. In the lanes, stay to the right and be aware of the crowds and motorbikes around you. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience, the atmosphere is charming with it's aspect of traditional hotel, with inner courts and rooftop terrace, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices, both morrocan and international. But a must is the spa, hammam and massage. The ladies are true professionals, with soft hands and nice voices. All the procedures give you the feeling of relaxation and joy. Thank you, Lamia and Nisrin, and good luck!

I had a wonderful stay at this riad. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the entire team made us feel right at home. The staff were always attentive and helpful, and I especially want to mention Nouhaila and Maryam, who went above and beyond when my sister was unwell. Their kindness and care made a difficult situation so much easier for us, and we are truly grateful. I would highly recommend this riad to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and genuine warmth. Great location. Very central. Friendly staff. Amazing breakfast - buffet style and more choice than I have ever seen before. Small but lovely pool which was wonderfully cool in August! Very reliable WiFi and excellent air con. Double bed in our triple room was not comfortable. The single bed was good.

We recently stayed at Riad Palais des Princesses during our family trip to Marrakech. As it was our first time staying in a riad, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect — but here’s a quick rundown of our experience. First off, the location is great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming (specially the breakfast staff and the night time receptionist sorry didn’t ask for their names). We appreciated that they shared a WhatsApp number for the reception, which was really helpful… at first. For the first couple of days, they were responsive, but after that, no one was replying — which got frustrating, especially when you’re travelling with kids and the riad doesn’t have a lift. Having to run up and down to reception isn’t ideal when you’re juggling little ones. We booked a family room with one double and two single beds. The double bed side was fine, but the room with the two single beds had an air conditioning unit with a mind of its own. It worked when it wanted to, and though the staff kept sending someone to fix it, it never stayed fixed — and honestly, it got a bit tiresome after a while specially when it was 45 degrees outside. The riad itself is fairly clean, though not spotless. It’s probably better maintained than some others out there, but again — this was our first riad stay, so we didn’t have anything to compare it to. Overall, the riad has potential and some good points, but a few practical things (especially for families) definitely need improving.

We had a lovely overnight stay here, as part of the return leg from hiking in the High Atlas. We arrived hot, messy, etc, and received the most generous welcome from Simo. That set the tone for our stay. The decor, layout, rooms, and roof terrace are all excellent, and the Riad is clearly well maintained. Jolly kitchen staff sorted a late meal for us, and the next day, we were allowed to leave bags, come and go, etc, after checkout until taxi time (we used their shuttle). The cleaning staff were out in force, keeping standards high, and all smiling with hello's. It's such a friendly place. It's well located for exploring the Medina and is on a calm alleyway set aside from the bustle of the lanes and sellers. I definitely plan to return and enjoy this place properly next time.

This riad was the highlight of my trip to Marrakech. Beautiful property, quiet and clean premises, and great hospitality. Walking distance to eateries, shops, and points of interest. Attentive and polite staff that go out of their way to solve problems. Simo from the front desk epitomizes top notch customer service. He stepped in to ease up my departure process, which turned out more complicated than expected due to delayed transportation. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a beautiful boutique hotel. Incredibly helpful and attentive staff they couldn’t do enough for us. The location is ideal, 3 minutes walk from where the cab from the airport drops you off, but also only 2 minutes walk to the main square in the medina. Ther is a lovely little swimming pool and spa area, the roof terrace is delightful. All in all a superb little place!

This was our first visit to Marrakesh for both my wife and me. We had always put it off, thinking it might not be suitable for us. To our surprise, it turned out to be a wonderful and adventurous experience. The Moroccan people, overall, are incredibly warm and welcoming. They genuinely care about visitors and treat guests with great respect. Coming from a background that favors spicy food, we still appreciated Morocco’s simple yet flavorful cuisine. Our first contact with Hotel Riad Palais des Princesses & SPA was through Simo, and I must give him full credit. From start to finish, he looked after us—arranging transport to and from the airport, explaining everything along the way, and always speaking in excellent English, which helped us a lot since we only speak English. Simo truly delivered exceptional customer service and went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast at the hotel was extensive and delicious. Chef Nailla at the restaurant prepared meals to order for us a few times, and the food was excellent every time. The hotel itself was fantastic—I chose it because of its VIP status, and it did not disappoint. All the staff were friendly and professional. The female-only spa facilities were a great bonus, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed using them.

We loved this Riad, walking through the medina, following a man with a cart containing all our luggage!'Super location.Right next to the Pergola restaurant and hotel with its jazz nights. Loved it. 3 of us shared a HUGE family room that would have slept 6 in 2 adjoining bedrooms.Just beautiful.Wonderful bathroom, and seperate tiled toilet.Fabulous decor.Comfy beds and amazingly quiet.Pool is teeny but heated! Its true that its easy to get disorientated because it is a rabbit warren with stairs and wooden doors everywhere and at night they close a lot of the heavy wooden doors in the corridors so Unless you know that, you've no chance of recognising how to get back to your bedroom!!.All part of the fun! Ill stay here again next year without a doubt.I do agree that breakfasts are somehow a bit lacklustre ..Lots of hot morrocan dishes that didnt appeal.Maybe we'd just had enough of the pancakes and bread!.There were yoghurts, fruit and french pastries.More an observation than a criticism. Didnt use the terrace or the spa...next time! Loved it.

We (two adults a teenager and a student) returned from the Sahara for a one nighter to Marrakech and were charmed by the Palais des Princesses. The staff were charming, informative and professional and clearly very proud of their riad, and for a good reason. The building is a labyrinth of small staircases and corridors, alleyways from the medina lead right into the place, a great looking pool in one courtyard, a fishpond in the other, a fireplace by the entrance. Decoration en masse, nicely done. Ornaments and local artefacts in niches in the staircases and rich decorations on ceilings, walls and floors. The rooms have all you need and the theme of intricate details continues. The breakfast next morning provided a very good spread of international and local dishes with efficient and friendly service. The parents' apartment boasted plenty of space, a great shower and closets to fit a week's worth of clothing. On departure the luggage service brings you and your baggage to the pick up point for the taxi to the airport. Didn't have time to sample the view and serene quiet of the roof top terrace, next time for sure.

The hotel is cleaned, well maintained and strategically located. It is just 2 mins walk to the main square of Jemaa El Fna. The staff provides you 5 stars services to make sure that you’re comfortable. Mr Simu will provide you all the information needed during your stay at the Riad plus things to do where to eat. He also ensure that you’re not lost inside the Jemaa. Mr Ahmad is always helpful and will offer his assistance whenever you need it. Chef Rahaf cooks delicious food and super friendly. She & the team prepared a wide selection of breakfast options. The courtyards inside Riad are well decorated to give the vibe of traditional Morrocan house. Despite of the location which is near the main square, the Riad is extremely quiet and gives you peaceful feelings. I will come back and stay here again whenever I’m in Marrakech.

The hotel was wonderful and relaxing after our two weeks in Morocco. We visited the spa for massages and facials which were great. The location was good from the main square and soils as well as other restaurants and sites. The breakfast had a lot of variety and good food. Sino, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and patient with our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure it was a great stay. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, very well located. All sights worth visiting are walking distance. We found the staff very welcoming and courteous. There are a few cons though. The room had only one chair so one of us had to sit on the bed or on the window sill. There is no tea or coffee maker in the room. Finally, there is no Intercom to speak to the reception or housekeeping. These are basic facilities that one expects in a hotel at this price point.

Riad Palais des Princesses is a lovely hotel. Highbend 4* by European standards. Very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Down an alley in the old town you need to hire a porter to take you from the taxi drop off to the hotel. The hotel consists of a number of old Riads joined together - lots of stairs and low door ways. Delightful but difficult if you cannot manage stairs well. Only 5 mins walk from the main square its very central. Really safe to walk around.

After booking my stay, I emailed the property about a concern i had about arriving at the Riad, I also phoned to make confirmation. Malek was very responsive and reassuring. Upon my arrival I was met with kindness and respect, all the staff were friendly and greeted me every time I saw them. Simon was very informative and super kind, he always made sure I was well and had everything I needed. At one pount in my trip I became unwell, and he got chef to bring me tea and offered me medicine very concerned. The Riad is elegant in Moroccan charms, with many original features, the room was comfortable and spacious (Dalia) and daily breakfasts was a varied selection of delights. All the staff were very accomodating, and kind. I loved my time at Princessess, and if I returned to Merrakech I would definitely re-book. Super hospitality. THANK YOU

Nice breakfast. Staff were excellent. Great location near to the main Jamaa el Fanaa square , 3 minute walk. Would definitely return.

Arrived in the evening Easy check in Within a short time of arrival the electrics started flickering and whilst in the shower all the lights went off…pitch black and unable to properly navigate around. Went to complain and the maintenance person came and you could see sparks flying from the fuse box, they said it was safe but the lights still kept flickering. Didn’t feel it was safe to plug anything in to charge. No apologies by the staff and no compliments for the inconvenience or acknowledgement of my concern The room itself was nice however the ac was poor and our room was situated on the roof - even with my experience of hot climates I was not prepared for the room temperature The fridge didn’t keep cold and no refill of the complimentary water on the second day The room and hotel was decorated lovely and the plunge pool was a welcome treat. The offer airport runs but found this was more expensive than getting a taxi outside. Located close to the main square and easy to navigate but needed Google maps to get us there the first night If you have mobility issues this will not be the place for you as it has a lot of narrow and uneven stairs with no proper hand rails Was disappointed by the service especially and didn’t get any of the perks of being a hotels.com vip

This delightful Riad is situated right in the heart of the Marrakesh Medina. It is a short walk from the central square and a slightly longer one from the edge of the Medina. The rooms, which are clustered around a number of open squares, are comfortable and well decorated. They all have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The breakfast is excellent and will set you up for the day and the indoor pool is very welcome after an exploratory walk around the city.

Property is located right in the Medina and very convenient for exploring old town. This hotel rooms were really small. They look bigger on the picture. Found hair in the bed. No small wash towel. No pool towel in the room or by the pool. My room was next to the cleaning people. The area was dark when I come back at night to unlock my room.

Once again the “Palace” didn’t disappoint !!! This is my third stay, and as always I was treated like royalty 👸 A hidden gem right off Jamas el-fna. If you are looking for a place to rest and refreshed after spending a day in Marrakech this is it ! I like it so much I will be booking a stay there for friend’s 10th anniversary. I know that Malak and the rest of the staff will make them feel just as welcomed as I have been.. from the welcome pot of mint tea until the final good bye.🙏

This riad was so beautiful like a mini palace with a beautiful courtyard, rooftop terrace and crystal chandeliers everywhere. But the most great thing about this property was the super friendly staff. Everyone was truly nice and kind and also helped us with so many things. There was No restaurant, but there was a breakfast buffet service and the food was very tasty. Since the location was great, which was in Marrakech's Medina quarter, we could walk everywhere for food, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. We would LOVE to visit there again.

I can’t say enough good things about this “palace”. Friendly and accommodating staff. Malik responded to phone request one week before arrival and made suggestion to make arrival and departure smoother. Beautifully appointed, charming riad. It resembles it’s name. You are treated like royalty. This is my second visit. I plan on sending friends here for their anniversary. I will book here for myself again as well.

The rooms are nice and the staff very friendly but i had to changed room 3 times because the airconditioning did not work properly and July in Morocco is very very hot! This is in a good location inside the medina just a few minutes of walk and after one day and an offline gps map, you'll easily remember where to turn but getting lost is part of the trip unfortunately.

Booked 1st 2 days in a traditional Riad with courtyard......all to ourselves and next 2 days in supposedly this 5 star hotel. The other Riad surpassed the expectations by miles and was 100 times better than this so called 5 star.....both nearly same price. We're made to wait for nearly an hour at reception (of course with omnipresent drink of Morocco - Mint Tea).....while filling forms, telling that the booking they received was for 5th guest as child (which as per them should have been under 12......and as per hotel.com under 18). We were nearly forced to pay extra for our 17 year old 3rd daughter even as we booked triple room for kids. Same was done for upgrading to a bit bigger room as double for us couple was nearly 8x8ft room. Wasn't that busy but we succumbed to paying for bit larger room (still not with a separate seating area.....just a sofa in the same long room). Kindly allowed unlimited access to pool.....which is in next building.....without changing room there. So you've to walk in bathrobe from your room to next building. Asked for adding American breakfast around 10pm lasy night......but was told that its too late to arrange ingredients. Think 5 star is wrong rating for this one.

The staff are professional and super friendly Please let Waafe and Kamil assist you with your stay. Their spa sets a high standard of zen and relaxation If you desire a wonderful tour and/or transportation, use the WhatsApp and contact Haasan at +212 605 950972. A gem amongst the dirty streets. Clean and nice rooms. Breakfast excellent and helpful staff. Great location I am a light sleeper and the cleaners hovering around 7am sweeping and cleaning clean floors, the noise from guests walking past at night or early morning and noise from the courtyards meant poor sleep. I should have taken ear plugs. Shame they didn't offer other meals or a roof terrace. Or maybe there was? Summery: super location with a clean and comfortable room. Staff excellent. Lots of people noise.

The property was absolutely adorable! I loved my room which was La Favorite but unfortunately, due to one specific staff member, my experience was an absolute disaster! I have never been yelled at or threatened by the way the man at the desk did to me. Over a measly amount of money, my life was threatened! Luckily, I will never return to Marrakech but make sure you have ALL charges on paper and SIGNED by the staff member helping you or, just like me, you will be scammed and threatened!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 6 nights. This place is the most wonderful Riad steps away from Jema El Fna and other attractions. Staff is excellent, much thanks to Abdel and Wafa. Hotel taxi drivers Ismail and Ayoub are outstanding and 100% reliable. Very clean and comfortable, feels like you’re staying at the home of family. Breakfast is great, included meats, breads, and fresh juices. Everyone is there to help and answer questions. Area is very safe 24/7. The terrace is gorgeous for relaxing in the day or evening. Beware of stray cats in Marrakech, (doesn’t affect the hotel). Food is great around the neighborhood. You’re provided with a very useful map by the hotel, it was so thoughtful. Being out in the Médina is crazy and chaotic but this hotel is your calm oasis away from that mess. It truly felt like we made life long friends overseas with the hotel staff. Never have I felt so attached to people that I’ve just met. The hotel staff and general people of Marrakech are kind and genuine. If you’re looking for a trip that’ll make you dig deeper into yourself, then go for it!!!!

Excellent Riad with friendly helpful staff and great atmosphere. The rooms were amazing with great air conditioning. Breakfast was good and staff were very welcoming and helpful in the breakfast room. They have their own spa which is reasonable. The location is amazing with only a short walk from the riad through some souks to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The manager arranged pickups from the airport and back to the airport ( €5 pp). Highly recommend this riad. Excellent stay

We were a little worried at first walking away from the main street and down two small streets to the hotel but as soon as we walked into reception we were blown away. The hotel has a very traditional appearance which has been looked after wonderfully. Even with the traditional surroundings, the hotel is not dated. We were greeted with some tea to cool down whilst the local area was described to us and maps were provided. Breakfast was good each morning with a selection of cooked breakfast, meats, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts and pastries. I wouldn't recommend families with younger children stay in the higher level bedrooms due to the steep and spiral staircases, however, if you had a ground floor bedroom it would be fine. We didn't book a tour guide, we used our maps and our initiative and we didn't get lost during our exploring the main centre and even walking over to Hivernage. Make sure you visit Maison De Le Photographie, Musee De Marrakech, Le Jardin Secret, Palias Bahia, Tombeux Saadiens. Be prepared to haggle, always be polite and you will have an amazing time.

It was hard to find, so I would recommend emailing/calling in advance and have them set up an airport pickup. Their cost was comparable to what taxis charge from the airport. Cars in general cannot go far into the medina, so having someone to walk you directly to the door is very helpful. All of the concierges spoke fine English and were happy to help make local calls for reservations, confirming tours, etc. They also quoted us a price ona private car hire we needed to travel to the coast (even though we went with a cheaper option). The only thing is, it's not very handicapped accessible and probably only the modern hotels are. Most riads seem to be 3 floors at least with narrow stone steps. Otherwise, it was quiet, had A.C., and comfortable.

The hotel was right in the heart of the Medina, only a two minute wLk from the main square. It was very clean, staff were welcoming and helpful. The manager was very informative and checked our trips, flights and transfers. The room was good much bigger than expected, the breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold, with a range of breads, cakes and yoghurts to suit all tastes. Wewnjoy d a couple of afternoons on the lovely roof terrace too. We used the spa facilities and had a manicure which was lovely and a good price. The only thing that was a bit eerie was arriving at night as the hotel is down a couple of alleys and for a first time visitor to Marrakech it was a bit dawnting. However, once we got used to it, it was fine. Most of the staff can only speak French so we communicated with the main manager most of the time.

I would like to commend Malek of the Riad Palace Princess. I traveled with a group of friend from Tangier to Marrakech and we arrived at 1:00 a.m. I called the Riad and Malek came out to me us and help my friends by calling their Riad to send someone to meet them. He went above and beyond in his efforts and would like him recognized for his outstand customer service.

The hotel room was lovely (stayed in a deluxe double room. It was comfortable, quiet , and clean. The hotel itself was also very nice. What let the hotel down was a. the breakfast - not up to the standards of typical hotel of this rating and b. the staff. My boyfriend and I tried to book a message in the hotel spa but it was fully booked. A member fo stafft then recommended the Diamant Spa down the road. This spa was truly awful - it appears to be some type of a brothel operating under the guise of a spa based on our scary experience. For our hotel to have recommended this place is disappointing. We trusted their judgement and unfortunately didnt read any re views before going - had we checked online reviews we would have realised this was not a stuitbale place to go.

This Riad is brilliant right in the heart of Marrakech easy to get to all the places you would want to see. The staff are excellent nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Mohamed the manager welcome is very warm. The staff are multilingual so language is not an issue and several nationalities stayed while I was there. Do take up the offer of the Riad sorting out your transfer from the airport as it can be hard to find. Fabulous stay thanks very much.

We went as a family of three, all adults and spent a week in Marrakech the first week in September, the weather was lovely. The Riad was just off Jenna el Fna Square quite difficult to find but if you purchase the Riad Shuttle service it was fine. The Riad itself was beautiful and the staff and breakfast service lovely . If you went as a Honeymoon couple the down stairs and first floor rooms were lovely and romantic. However we had a family room up two flights of very narrow twisting stairs, the room was small with a queen bed then off that was another small room with two single beds. The small bathroom was just by first room front door and if you were in the second room and needed the toilet in the night you had to squeeze past the queen bed in the dark which was difficult. We are a middle aged couple and I have problems with my hip, the stairs were a nightmare for me and i struggled with them and was constantly worried i would fall and fracture my hip. If you were a young couple with young children (not babies or children that needed to be carried ) it would have been ok. I think the Riad needs to mention the stairs as that ruined the holiday for me and we couldn't move rooms as all family rooms were like that or other suitable rooms taken already

I booked the hotel based on the booking.com award, must have been an advertisement deal because it was not at all worthy of the title. The location is good, takes time to figure your way in and out and poor signage to arrive at the hotel at first. I arranged a shuttle and there was no mention that it would cost 15 Euros each way for a single person!!!! Also, I arrived around 1:30am at the hotel and I was sat down and immidiately hit with fees, conversation rate and a total I owed at arrival, no greeting tea or cookies like other reviews. So I had to pay for the shuttle going back to the airport ahead of time, as well as hotel fees, etc. No one gave me a map!!! It was just frustrating. The room was ok, had to use a key and it took some time every time to lock/unlock the room and bathroom. The breakfast wasn't at all traditional, this is more like a mini hotel than a riad, I wouldn't recommend it. The decor was mediocre as well.

Booked hotel transfer with flight as didnt want to be ripped off by cab driver as 2 female travellers. Also booked camel ride with hotel transfer company. Hotel is in the Medina, you get dropped off & escorted in by hotel porter who I was told is free, I gave 20 dirhams (MAD) as a tip, he said 40, I sternly told him it was free, he scurried off. Lady at check in was extremely helpful with local knowledge / safety tips. Hotel room was adequate for our needs. Shower drain took 45mins to empty, so at night one ended up wading in the others shower water. In the morning one would shower, we'd have breakfast & it'll be clear for the other. Breakfast couldn't be enjoyed as there were wasps covering the cinnamon pastries & other sweet goods which would then fly around the area, either put them in a display unit or cover with a cloth. July 2017 renovations works to new dining room / roof terrace but nothing to interfere with your stay. It's a easy 3 mins walk to Jamaa el Fna, & to find your way home, just note cafe at the entrance & turn left @ red & white shop & your their !!! ALL staff very helpfull

Getting to the hotel is complicated so i used their transport option and paid up front. Then when i left the porter wanted more money and the driver parked quite far from the drop off point at the airport making life difficult then wouldnt letme leave the van as he had a tantrum over payment. He called the hotel and was stamping hism feet and shouting at me. I told him i had paid the hotel but he still kept shouting as i walked off. Be careful you dont get ripped off here.
