Beautiful Riad over two connected buildings, one very traditional with incredible tilework, plasterwork and doors, while the other half is reinvented in a contemporary style. Really beautiful. We only stayed one night but we were very comfortable and staff were very kind.
Cons: A little more space to store clothes (we had quite a lot of luggage as we were touring around Morocco). A bit more choice at breakfast would have been welcome.

Cons: Un sitio en la Medina con las ventajas y sobre todo los inconvenientes de ello ( ruidos,olores...). La habitación ( Yasmina), muy bonita pero incomoda. No tiene armario para guardar la ropa, solo un colgador, en el baño ni una triste percha para colgar la toalla. El desayuno, será el marroquí, pero terriblemente monótono.Cafe de puchero, para mi gusto inconcebible en hostelería del siglo XXI. Pero es cierto que todo esto lo suplen con su amabilidad y servicio.

Simply exceptional. Ali (local ENT surgeon/ owner) and his team are all very friendly from the moment you are greeted and throughout the stay. They will do anything for you. Very easy to find, just a 15min walk from the Rabat Ville Station through the Medina, or a 2min walk from the Taxi drop off point. Very modern and well maintained property, so unbelievably clean. Ali has owned the main property for 12yrs, and then knocked through into a neighbours he acquired a few years ago. The original is a modern style and the latter an authentic style, which is where our room "Jasmine" was. Room was perfect, very clean, comfortable, authentic style, windows and doors to a small courtyard featuring a fountain and open to the sky 2.5 stories above. Room features king bed, AC, small TV with wifi / netflix, prime etc.... bathroom with private toilet, sink and shower. Breakfast included was amazing, fresh, and a selection of local breads, fruits and yogurts with omlettes to order. This is for sure the best place to stay in Rabat and one of the best places we have stayed - and that's saying something!
Cons: The roof garden could have done with a couple of sun loungers, instead of having to sunbathe on the grass lawn. Also consider something simple and quirky like a pen, paper and small bell on a string so you can request water, beers and drinks from the roof through the atrium to reception !! But seriously, absolutely nothing wrong with this place whatsoever.

J’ai absolument tout aimé! Le Ryad est magnifique, idéalement situé dans la Médina. Ma chambre était spacieuse, propre et bien équipée avec une literie super confortable. Le personnel est charmant et se coupe en quatre pour rendre service aux clients et les faire se sentir « chez eux ». Le petit déjeuner était préparé à la minute en cuisine, et la carte propose à midi et le soir de délicieux tajines. Le petit bassin central permet de se détendre après une chaude journée, au son d’une belle musique d’ambiance.
Cons: Mon seul tout petit bémol est le caractère répétitif du petit déjeuner. Tout est bon et frais (crêpes marocaines, omelette, yahourt…) mais au bout de 4 jours j’aurais aimé un peu de variété.

Riad Zyo was amazing. We could not fault it at all. Really clean, room and bathroom were amazing. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was 5 star. The staff were really friendly and we felt they went above and beyond especially with recommendations on where to eat out and attractions to visit. The Riad itself was fantastic, we used the small pool to cool down in the afternoon after sight seeing and then had a glass of wine in the seating area on the roof terrace to dry off and relax. Highly recommend staying here.
Cons: Couldn't fault it at all. If I had to try and pick out anything, the only thing I could think of is only 1 socket to plug phone into but if you plug out a lamp, there are still plenty to use.

La atención de todo el personal, sobre todo Madi, el gerente, es excepcional. Han resuelto todas nuestras consultas y atendido nuestras peticiones con presteza y diligencia, además de con gran simpatía. Han hecho que nuestra estancia en Rabat haya sido muy cómoda y placentera. ¡Mil gracias, Madi!
Cons: La verdad es que me gustó todo. Es un riad de calidad y su precio, aunque sea un poco elevado, está justificado. Quizá la habitación podría haber sido un poco más grande...pero es una casa antigua rehabilitada, el espacio es el que es.

Le Riad a été rénové avec goût alliant modernité et style traditionnel. Le cadre est reposant (très calme) et très agréable. L’emplacement est idéal car situé à proximité à pied de l’oudaya. Le personnel est au petit soin, le service digne d’un quatre étoiles avec l’hospitalité que l’on connaît aux marocains. Je reviendrais certainement si j’en ai l’occasion.

We stayed an entire week in Ryad Zyo while participating a conference and we had a wonderful experience. The personal are extremely kind, helpful and thoughtful, that made our stay more than a regular hotel visit. The hotel is small, calm and beautiful, the pool and the rooftop terrace very nice too. The location is also great.

L’endroit est bien situé, les chambres confortables. Nous avons surtout apprécié la présence de Mehdi qui s’occupe vraiment de tout. Nous étions invités à un mariage et il nous a aidé à trouver le bon coiffeur. L’endroit ou louer les caftans, il nous a accompagné pour acheter des babouches et un ensemble pour homme. Bref il a rendu notre séjour c’est facile et agréable. C’est une perle. L’hôtel est très bien placé, on peut marcher partout, il y a plein de petits cafés et bistrot dans les alentours

I don't think you'll find a better hotel in Rabat. This one is amazing! The people are so friendly, the rooms are beautiful, the swimming pool is small but perfect. It's a small hotel, so also very quiet. There's no traffic in that area. Also, it's in the medina so you don't need a taxi for a nice walk. The personel is outstanding. They prepared Marrocan food for us that we could enjoy at the rooftop terrace. At breakfast we asked for some fruit and they instantly prepared a nice fruit salad. The local bread they serve at breakfast is very nice (they gave us as much as we liked!). We recommend staying for at least 2 nights to enjoy it fully. There's plenty to see and do in Rabat.

A very beautiful and pleasant hotel, with polite staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. It was quite different from other places I’ve stayed at a unique blend of modern and traditional vibes.
Cons: The only issue with the room was a slight, unusual smell that I personally didn’t like. I’m not sure whether it came from outside the building or from inside, as there was a bathroom window facing outdoors.

Everything was excellent!!! We had such a wonderful stay at Riad Zyo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was really good. The Riad is centrally located to the tram stop, train station, beaches and just in the Madina.

La ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca de la estación central de tren y de los puntos turísticos más importantes de la ciudad, considerando que Rabat es grande. Las instalaciones son impecables, el gusto en la decoración es exquisito. El personal fue encantador en todo momento, amables y atentos. Nos sentimos muy cómodas. Podéis concertar comida o cena en el alojamiento. Particularmente el tajine de cordero estaba increíble.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil dans ce riad enchanteur. De beaux tableaux contemporaines font vivre la partie moderne, la partie ancienne est animée de beaux zelliges. Notre chambre était simple et jolie, avec vue sur un petit jardin suspendu, la salle de bain très confortable. Quant au petit déjeuner, il était excellent.

Very nice staff, easy to find, easy to move around the Rabat, great breakfast. We stayed in the room in the ground floor which was very cosy with quite a lot of space to move around. Also very nice lighting in the room. It was a big loud during the breakfast, so staff made sure to set up our table in a more quiet place directly in front of our room :) They even printed our boarding passes for the flight back home. Thank you for a nice time in Rabat!

The Riad is a charming mix of modern-zen and classic Moroccan interior design, done with very good taste. Behind the door, in an alley of the busy Medina, a vision of serenity and refined elegance opens up: the first courtyard is occupied by a pool (whose bright blue contrasts with the white washed walls) and in which banana trees, palms and yuccas of the hanging garden are reflected. Behind, an annex belonging to a 14th century riad , carefully restored , displays a glorious courtyard, richly decorated with traditional elements (Moorish arches, zellige, fountain); everywhere beautifully carved windows and doors, that open into the rooms (not large, but furnished in a refreshing modern style, with a few touches of local craftsmanship) and meticulously chosen details, as the modern paintings in the common areas. Some rooms (like ours, Pasha) offer spectacular views on the hanging garden and the pool, and the whole Riad becomes particularly suggestive in the evening, when the lights are turned on. Breakfast and dinner (on request) are served in the hall facing the swimming pool, and they are both exquisite - the white cheese and black olive tapenade are delicious- The icing on the cake is the fantastic staff: from the receptionists to the cook to the waiters to the cleaning ladies, everyone is efficient and kind, meeting the needs of the guests always with a smile. We have made three trips in Morocco, done long itineraries and stopped in many Riads, but Riad Zyo is certainly not only the best in Rabat, but in the top list of those we have frequented, for the art-gallery style of its minimalist elegance, matched with the charming attitude in the reception and services, typical of the true Moroccan hospitality. A wonderful place to stay in Rabat! The staff were all so friendly, professional, and helpful. We received great hospitality. The hotel location is very convenient. And the building and the room decoration are magnificent. The breakfast was also great. Definitely recommend it. Thank you to all the staff so kind to us.
Cons: It is a minor thing…Because of our room’s location next to the beautiful patio and dining room, we were woken up by other guests chatting and taking photos from at 7am, every day. We like to wake up late on holiday, so that was the only concern we had. If you are not an early bird like us, use ear plugs or select a room in upper floor.

Superbes chambres ! L’emplacement était très intéressant. En pleine Médina, cela permet de baigner dans la vraie vie à Rabat. Icham et Mahdi, ainsi que les autres membres du staff étaient d’une incroyable gentillesse et d’un précieux conseil pour les activités. Repas délicieux et abordables.
Cons: Connexion Wifi trop faible mais ils m’ont promis d’y travailler rapidement (ils sont très à l’écoute et très réactifs). L’insonorisation des chambres (à noter que le personnel s’est démené pour me changer de chambre les deux dernières nuits et c’était beaucoup mieux. Merci à eux et bravo pour les démarches !)

Ryad Zyo was the first Riad we stayed at in Morocco. It is pretty convenient to get to - a short walk down a no-vehicle road. Staff was fantastic - from welcoming, greeting to departure - all was handled smoothly. We ordered dinner from restaurant and it was great.

The Riad was in a perfect location to see the sites of Rabat including the Medina and Bab Ouydas. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. It’s easy to get to from the Rabat Ville train station. It’s quiet and clean. Lovely breakfast and nicely decorated.

The owner Mr. Ali and the Riad manager Mahdi were very kind. Mahdi was accommodating, explaining everything and what was around, the room we were staying in and even helped to carry our luggage out to the taxi. Really nice man.

Le petit déjeuner, le service de a à z est au top du top. Les chambres n'en parlons même pas, je suis totalement satisfaite de mon séjours et j'y retournerais pour sur! A proximité de tout les endroits importants à visiter, facilement accessible en transport. Et l'hôtel est une véritable gallérie d'art. J'ai adoré.

Absolument tout ! Tout est parfait ! Les chambres sont propres, le Ryad est d’une beauté stupéfiante, le parfait mélange entre modernité et tradition ! Le personnel est attentionné et avenant L’histoire de ce Ryad en fait un lieu d’exception. Très bien placé dans la médina tout en étant très calme. Je reviendrais sans hésitation. Pour la voiture, et sur les conseils de notre hôte, nous avons pu laisser notre véhicule dans un garage sous terrain surveillé pour 70 dirhams soit 7 euros la nuit. Nos enfants ont pu profiter de la piscine le soir et le matin. Un régal pour eux ! Pour ma part, le plaisir des yeux, de voir autant de subtilité dans la décoration de ce Ryad, tout est parfait !

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans ce Riad. L’hygiène est impeccable, la décoration magnifique et tout le personnel est aux petits soins. Il est très bien placé dans la médina : proximité du souk, mais dans une rue au calme. Les alentours sont très safe. Nous étions 2 femmes et peu importe l’heure à laquelle nous sortions/rentrions, nous nous sommes toujours senties en sécurité. Il y a 2 parkings à proximité : l’un en extérieur dès la sortie de la médina (≈3/4mn) et le second, en sous terrain, un peu plus loin (≈6/7mn). La piscine est un bel atout bien qu’elle ne soit pas très grande elle permet de se rafraîchir en toute tranquillité. Merci encore à toute l’équipe et particulièrement à Anas. Si je suis amenée à revenir dans cette belle capitale, je reviendrais sans hésiter au Riad Zyo.

De locatie is perfect, je loopt zo naar de souks en restaurants. Het hotel is een mooie combi van modern en traditioneel. Er hangt mooie kunst in het hotel. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en staat met alles voor je klaar. Het zwembad is heerlijk om even af te koelen. Wij hadden gevraagd om rustige kamers en hebben geen last van geluiden van de straat gehad.

Quel lieu enchanteur que le riad Zyo… Niché dans la vieille ville de Rabat, non loin de la célèbre Kasbah des Oudayas qui surplombe l’océan, le riad Zyo est sans cesse caressé par les doux vents marins de l’Atlantique. La porte d’entrée est toute modeste et ne laisse pas deviner la grandeur riadesque de la demeure. Il y a comme une sorte de morale, la richesse est intérieure n’est-ce pas ? Il faut ouvrir la porte pour découvrir tous les charmes du riad et ils sont nombreux ! Le premier élément est évidemment Monsieur Anas, le maître d’hôtel. Son accueil chaleureux, sa délicatesse subtile, la constante amabilité avec laquelle il s’entretient avec vous et répond à vos requêtes, font de lui la quintessence vivante de ce qu’on appelle le « souab », c’est-à-dire la courtoisie typiquement marocaine. Ne serait-ce que pour le plaisir d’être servi par Monsieur Anas, je voudrais revenir au riad Zyo. Je veux aussi saluer l’hospitalité de toutes les employées de maison et des cuisinières, contribuant par leur continuelle douceur à la paix qui règne dans ces lieux… Après le charme humain vient le charme architectural. Les amoureux de l’art décoratif marocain seront séduits par la beauté des zelliges aux couleurs chaudes, des ornementations en stuc, des escaliers en marbre, du salon traditionnel, du patio avec sa piscine et de cette belle couleur blanche qui tapisse les murs du riad qui est le cachet même de la médina de Rabat. Je veux aussi parler de la terrasse où j’ai éprouvé beaucoup de plaisir à marcher pieds nus sur l’herbe du jardin, sous le soleil d’un Rabat matinal, légèrement bercé par la brise et contemplant avec rêverie le panorama de la vieille ville qui nous est offert. Toute la douceur de vivre marocaine vous pénètre et vous êtes heureux de vivre tant d’émotions aussi belles. Vous êtes en communion avec quelque chose qui vous dépasse et vous êtes enfin en paix…

Hospitality was lovely and we appreciated the personal touch when asked what we’d like for breakfast for our last morning. It rained most of our 2 days in Rabat and we were grateful to be able to borrow an umbrella.

Cons: Very poor service, did not feel welcome since check-in, up until the minute we checked out, made us feel very uncomfortable. The person did not even say a word or had eye contact with us at check out. Not recommended, should be able to find better riads/hotels at a cheaper price in Rabat. This place is absolutely overcharged based on its service and facilities.

Hier wird Service groß geschrieben! Die Mitarbeitenden ließen keine Möglichkeit aus, um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Am Pool wurden Handtücher gereicht und Lounge Musik für das Ambiente angemacht, als wir Gäste mit ins Hotel brachten, wurden uns Tee und Kekse serviert. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals so einen aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Service erlebt zu haben! Die Lage ist zentral in der Altstadt. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl.

The stay at the hotel Riad Zyo I really recommend to anyone, especially for those looking for a calm, cosy and family like holiday. The staff starting at the reception is incredible, soo nice and cordial, they will do their best to arrange and help you with anything you need. They would greet you every time with a smile and ask you if all is ok or whether they can help you with anything. The Morocan mint tea Abdul was serving was fantastic as well as the breakfast prepared by the ladies in the kitchen. Rooms are clean, if you need air conditioning, it works very well, there is simply all you need for your pleasant stay.

The Riad was absolutely beautiful, combining modern and traditional decor. It was also extremely clean and very quiet. The location was perfect whether you want to walk through the Medina or visit the newer city. Very close to the Kasbah of the Oudaias. Finally the staff was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous.

De Riad ziet er schitterend uit. Er is gekozen voor een modern interieur. Kamers zijn ruim. Foto's zijn een goede weergave van de werkelijkheid. Airconditioning werkt goed. Ontbijt wordt smaakvol opgediend, met verse jus d' orange. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We werden ontvangen met thee en koekjes. Onze wijn werd geserveerd op het dakterras: een heerlijke plek.
Cons: Wij hadden kamers aan de straatkant: veel lawaai tot diep in de nacht van jeugd in de straat. Het dubbele glas houdt het geluid deels tegen, maar je kunt niet met het raam open slapen. De Riad kan hier niets aan doen, maar als ik terug zou komen zou ik vragen om een kamer niet aan de straatkant. In de badkamer is er geen plek voor je toilettas.

Rabat was one of our favorite places to visit, and this riad is in a great location to explore it. There are good local eateries nearby, and it's off the usual tourist souk scene, giving it a more friendly, local feel. The riad itself is semi-modern and very clean. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
Cons: If you are driving on your own, be aware that this is a very busy, complicated part of town. You can get lost in traffic and drive in circles. Although the description we saw said it had parking (and it will appear in a Booking search for riad's with parking) it does not and is impossible to reach by car. There is a public parking area nearby and a couple of paid parking areas. You'll need to find one and make your way to the riad on foot, and as with all medinas, it's not uncomplicated. Strangely, we were told to come to the riad and then they would help with parking, but that was not possible -- what's known as a Catch-22. But once you get there it's a good base for you to explore, and the manager and staff will make you feel at home.

Upon arrival we got a warm welcome with Moroccan Tea :) The Riad looks lovely, very clean, well located in the medina of Rabat and from walking distances from the Kasbah of the Udayas. The breakfast was everything what we needed. If you are in Rabat and want to stay in a Riad, this is one to recommend.

I was truly expecting a much nicer Riad at this per night price. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were super nice. I will begin with the worst. I got poisoning from the breakfast! I was sick for 24 hours. They must monitor the food service and make sure everything is fresh. The room was extremely small and not well designed. The bathroom was a total disgrace. It was not clean and rusted. AWFUL. I have been at other Riads, which were lower priced and were a thousand times nicer. I cannot recommend this Riad. I believe they need alot of makeover since it does have potential to be beautiful. They also need to monitor the food servce.

Riad posizionata nelle medina di Rabat, in zona pedonale, comoda a negozi/risotranti/principali punti di interesse. Staff gentilissimo, cordiale, attento alle esigenze del cliente, ha contribuito anche ad organizzare tour della città La camera assegnata era molto ampia, bagno moderno con perfino doppia toilette, al primo piano per un elevata privacy Colazione abbondante e varia, abbiamo anche cenato, disponinile uno squisito menu e bevande alcoliche su richiesta. Tutta la struttura era molto pulita, ordinata, nulla lasciato al caso. Falicissimo della scelta, ci tornerò sicuramente!

A gem in a central location. Elegent & contemporary aesthetic. Comfortable bed, great staff and a really nice breakfast. I loved the common dining areas- the owner exhibits artworks by young emerging artists, and we felt like we were in a wonderful private museum. I highly recommend!

Cons: Pour 14 ans de travail dans le tourisme, pour la première fois je rencontre un tel manque de professionnalisme. Le personnel est très hostile et même agressif. Le règlement a pris beaucoup de temps. Les chambres ont été payées immédiatement au moment de la réservation, mais le propriétaire et son assistant ont exigé un paiement très long et dur, tout en permettant l’impolitesse et la dureté. Et je ne me suis même pas excusé quand ils regardé la réservation et vu que tout était payé. C’est la première fois que je rencontre cela et j’espère que c’est un incident isolé. L’emplacement dans la vieille ville, où il n’est pas possible d’atteindre en voiture, vous devrez donc marcher avec vos valises le long d’une rue bondée jusqu’à l’hôtel, ce qui est très gênant. Le Maroc est un pays très hospitalier, mais certaines personnes peuvent gâcher toute l’expérience, ne répétez pas mes erreurs Bonne Voyage! nous avons tout aimé. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants et nous avons tous les 4 été ravis et enchantés de dormir au Riad Zyo. Un havre de paix en pleine médina de Rabat ! une parenthèse inattendue pendant notre long périple au Maroc. Les enfants se sont baignés dans le bassin en fin de journée, très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était royal ! digne des rabatis ! tout était raffiné, la vaisselle, la décoration, les mets servis à table. Les employés étaient tous serviables et aux petits soins, ils sont discrets tout en étant à l'écoute de nos désirs. La literie était très agréable, nous avons tous dormi comme des bébés. De l'accueil à notre départ, tout était magnifique. Nous regrettons seulement de n'avoir fait une halte que d'une nuit. Mais nous reviendrons pour un plus long séjour, c'est promis ! Restez comme vous êtes au Riad Zyo, ne changez rien, vous êtes digne d'un 5 étoiles +++

Cons: The location wasn't terribly easy to find and we didn't receive a great deal of help getting there. Though we might have been spoiled by our previous riad, the guidance overall was pretty minimal. Check-in was a bit long.

The owner and staff were very nice, and the included breakfast was great, as was the rooftop terrace and the small pool. The hotel's dinner (which we had only once) was a bit limited and slightly pricey for Morocco, but very good. There were several small street cafes within 50 yards of this place, as well as a variety of street food. The location was excellent, as you can walk to the Kasbah (5 min), ATM's (2 min), the Tour of Hassan (20-25 min), the Rabat Ville train station (20-25 min, though it would be difficult with rolling luggage as parts of the medina are rocky), and even the ruins of Chella (50 min--we took a cab for about $1.50). This hotel is about 100 yards from the intersection of Ave Laalou and Ave Mohammed V, which is a northern entrance to the vehicle-less medina. (Note: the northern section of Ave Mohammed V allows no cars, but the southern part, near downtown and the Rabat Ville train station, south of the medina, does allow cars. Also note that this northern section of the medina is not too crowded. We felt very safe. The wifi worked well, too. We really enjoyed our time in Rabat, and the Riad Zyo and the surrounding neighborhood were key elements of that.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at riad zyo. The staff were polite and very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was a delight . The hotel was spotless and the rooms were cleaned daily.

The riad was very lovely and was in a good area with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a very pretty pool (which we did not try on this trip) and a nice landscaped rooftop for lounging. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruit salad, baked goods, spreads, and olives. We did not eat dinner there, but the menu looked very good. Overall a very nice stay, and we would absolutely stay again. The restaurant to the right as you head toward the new part of town served a great tagine.

Je suis venue à Rabat pour 3 jours pour le travail et un week-end de relaxation. Le personnel du Riad Zyo est aux petits soins avec les clients et propose plein de bons plans pour les visites! Le Riad est très propre, l'ambiance est agréable, la terrasse sur le toit permet de profiter du soleil au calme, la nourriture est vraiment bonne. Ne pas hésiter à réserver dans ce lieu incroyable!

We spent two nights at Riad Zyo on arrival to Morocco and after two weeks of here and half dozen other riads, I have to say that Zyo definitely was one of the better places we stayed at. The room was big enough, the heat was sufficient (we were there at the end of November), all of the fixtures were in good working order, comfortable bed, strong water pressure, good Wi-Fi signal and a really good breakfast. The staff was friendly, spoke English well, and helped with many things. And the location was great – the little alley Zyo is located on is just off Mohammed V Avenue, the main street in the medina. So when we came out of our rooms there were plenty of food options, retail services, etc. Finally, I have to say something about the décor – most of the riads we stayed at went for the traditional look and often felt like a bed and breakfast in the United States where they fill up the room with rustic items to create “atmosphere”. And part of the effect is also to make it dimly lit. While I enjoyed this atmosphere at first, I have to say that I kind of got tired being in dimly lit rooms with loads of 19th century Arabic knick-knacks. I really liked Riad Zyo because it was bright and airy and had a modern design sensibility. Not a Western look, but a very modern, very Moroccan look. Good for them! If you are going to be in Rabat, I would highly recommend the Zyo.

The Riad is great, clean and very beautiful. It situated in the Medina and very close to the Kasbah. The souk is also nearby. My boyfriend and I received very warm welcome. The room is very comfortable and breakfast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to all of you!

The location was fairly accessible from where the taxi dropped me off. Not many tourists around, but more of a local area. Interesting to wander around. Lovely rooftop terrace and very helpful staff. Breakfasts always had new and tasty items to try. You should not have to pay more than 10dh for taxi ride to get to riad from train station.

The owner is absolutely one of the kindest people I have ever met. I was sick and he went out of his way to help me and didn't even charge for soup and ginger concoction which I asked for late in the evening. The pool is so nice it makes you want to stay at the Riad all day. We were also upgraded for free. The location is perfect in a busy part of the Medina but also close enough to the road that you don't have very far to walk after being dropped off by the taxi. The riad helped arrange our transfer to the airport and the driver was punctual, even though we were leaving at 5:30 am, (not always the case in many other places we stayed during our trans-Morocco trip) and reasonably priced. I stayed at fancier/more luxurious hotels in Rabat, but overall, this was the best. When I return to Rabat, I will choose this one for my entire stay.

We stayed for a week during which this riad hosted an art opening -a total pleasure. The riad is bright white and airy. We are returning next winter for three weeks.
