Sweet and attentive staff Lovely garden and protected pool is heavenly . Generous breakfast - coffee could be better Location is 15 min walk out of Medina - this is a lovely walk along the beach waterfront - well lit and safe at night. Or you can get a taxi off the street at a moments notice for under £1 each way . We loved it being slightly out of the town .

Spotless. Majestic. Quiet. Safe. Fabulous little pool sheltered from the wind. Lovely conversations with the young male staff. We discovered the many different little sitting areas and balconies as we settled in. Enjoyed the 20-minute promenade up to the action of the medina. ( or a flat rate 8 DHR ride in the zippy pale blue taxis to either Carrefour or the Medina)
Cons: While I knew it was away from the hub of the medina,, it is a beautiful villa situated amongst unlovely area of modern development. There is a row of three beach restaurants over the road, but no obvious little local cafes or restaurants, so the location was missing the local feel. ( But that's not the Villa Quieta's fault- which I'm sure was there before the developments! ) Would have loved facilities to make tea independently. More hanging places needed to dry towels. A little guide to laundry services, cafes, etc would have been useful.

J’ai adoré la localisation et la gentillesse du personnel. J’ai aussi beaucoup apprécié avoir une petite terrasse privative et un accès direct à la piscine. J’ai aimé que les horaires du petit-déjeuner soient aussi longs, ce qui m’as permis de faire la grasse matinée. J’ai vraiment apprécié la présence d’une baignoire ce qui se fait de plus en plus rare.
Cons: J’ai moins aimé le petit déjeuner qui pour moi n’était pas assez rassasiant et un peu trop européen (présence de viennoiseries françaises, baguette). J’aurais préféré par ex avoir de l’Amlou à la place du Kiri. Aussi les galettes (msemen et crêpes mille trous ) étaient servies froides.

A lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly and it felt safe staying there with two young kids. The pool was beautiful (unheated) but very clean and relaxing to spend time in. The hotel had parking just outside if you are hiring a car and property was quiet, even though along a main road. Just opposite the beach, perfect for watching the horses and camels on the beach and going for a walk
Cons: The hotel was a little too far to walk to the Medina with young kids (about 30mins) but we could drive and park closer on the days we wanted to explore.

Marokkanisches Frühstück, Strand direkt gegenüber, der Weg zur Medina ist zwar etwas weiter, aber man kann dies für den täglichen Spaziergang am Strand entlang nutzen. Sehr entschleunigend. Tipp: Im Hafen kann man frisch gefangenen Fisch am Stand kaufen, gegenüber zum Grillen abgeben und direkt vor Ort genießen. Frischer und leckerer geht`s nicht.

Cons: Die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft hat nicht den Erwartungen, gemessen am Preis, entsprochen. Insbesondere roch es im Zimmer modrig, wie ich dann feststellte, ging besonders von der Matratze ein intensiver Schimmelgeruch aus. Auch die übrigen Möbel waren zwar hübsch, aber nicht besonders gepflegt.

The hotel is located on a quiet street with easy street side parking. The ground floor interior is very impressive if you like the old-fashioned traditional "mausoleum"style. The old town itself is probably the best we visited, and we went to most of the major cities.
Cons: The room was small, gloomy, and damp, and the bathroom very basic. The bed was likewise fairly small and not very comfortable. Any noise on the stairs passes straight through into the room. The air-conditioning system is supposed to enable a dry function to reduce the humidity in the room to dry out but it does not work. The damp, musty smell impregnated our clothes for days afterwards. Breakfast on the first day was slightly better than average for Morocco, but for whatever reason on the second day it was very poor as a lot of it was missing. We were happy to be on our way.

Hotel ima dobro lego tik ob plaži in možnost parkiranja. Osrednji del z jedilnico in lobby izgleda kot palača, povsod so udobni kotički za posedanje. Zajtrk je zelo okusen z veliko izbire. Na voljo je tudi zunanji bazen z ležalniki in hotelski vrt. Hotel je čist in lepo urejen v tradicionalnem slogu. Naša soba je imela zunanjo teraso in balkon ter zelo prostorno kopalnico, zadnji dan smo našli tudi hladilnik :) Imajo mehke in velike brisače, hotelsko kozmetiko iz argana in kopalne plašče, za bazen izposojajo tudi kopalne brisače. Osebje je pozorno in prijazno, ob našem prihodu so imeli tehnične težave z internetom, za kar so se opravičili in takoj pričeli odpravljati. Imajo čudovitega hotelskega mačka, ki je bil glavna zvezda našega bivanja.
Cons: Hotel je nekoliko oddaljen od medine, kar pa smo vedeli vnaprej in nam ni predstavljalo posebne težave, ker nam je bila bolj pomembna bližina plaže. Družinska soba je kljub veliki kvadraturi utesnjena, ker je v treh etažah, do kopalnice v kletni etaži vodi strmo stopnišče, postelje za otroke pa so na galeriji nad osrednjim delom sobe. Za zajtrk si je treba vzeti čas, ker ga vsaki mizi servirajo posebej. Nas to ni motilo, ker smo si sami organizirali aktivnosti, če pa bi bili vezani na določene ure odhodov, bi bila lahko težava.

Мы специально выбрали проживание за пределами медины, но при этом в пешей от нее доступности. В двух шагах от отеля восхитительный пляж, где можно бесконечно долго смотреть на волны и кайтсерферов. Охраняемая парковка на улице перед отелем с достаточным количеством мест. Красивые интерьеры, ухоженная территория. Даже есть небольшой бассейн. Прекрасный завтрак, который сервируется индивидуально.
Cons: Наш номер оказался смежным. Нам повезло с соседями, и ночью было тихо. Считаю, что цена несколько завышена

Welcoming and helpful front desk staff. Communal areas are beautifully decorated - shame the fountain in reception wasn’t working though. Nice walk to town and over the road from the gorgeous beach. Breakfast ok - a bit haphazard with the service but the food was pleasant and filling.
Cons: No ambience whatsoever - felt like we’d checked into a silent retreat. The only sound was music on the TV above the bar showing pictures of hot drinks. We had a standard room which was really poor - safety deposit box was not fixed down and so could have easily been removed from the room, the window pane in the bathroom was loose and rattled (left longer and it would have fallen out), noisy - doors being unlocked/opened/closed and anyone talking in adjacent rooms sounded like they were in the room with you so had to sleep with ear plugs in (never had to do that before). We were moved to a different room which was bigger but there very limited to storage for our clothing - the wardrobe doors wouldn’t open fully because of the placement of other furniture so we couldn’t open the drawers within the wardrobe. The hotel has great potential but definitely needs an overhaul and a refurb of the rooms. Pool area pretty but only 8 or so beds so no chance of getting 2 for us. Gardens pleasant but in need of TLC and more comfortable furniture

Lots to see with camels/horses and kite surfing this end of the beach opposite the hotel. Cafes for coffee etc opposite the hotel recommend Ocean Vagabond and great restaurant half way to Medina 'La Couple' Staff very friendly and helpful Great breakfast including fruit and fresh orange juice. Amazing decor throughout.

Putzfrau war nur mit telefonieren beschäftigt und hat sogar ihr handy an meinem ladekabel angesteckt und dann vergessen. ich stang getade inzer der Duschw als sie es wiedwr holen wollte. wennn sie den Gang putzte und jemand hörhe hat sie so getan als ob sie putzt . senn sie merkte dass es nicht ihre chefin war hat sie weiter telefoniert. der Rest. des Personalsl hat auch nur am Handy gespielt und nur auf Anfragen reagiert . vermeiden Sie u beyingt zimner 9.. am pool waren auch einige Fliesen. lose und dort könnenn nur 7 perdonen liegen an den mesten Liegen fehlten die räder die Snacks waren 4 mal so teuer wie draussen.im restaurant.

Really good breakfast (too much for us to finish in fact) and really friendly staff. The hotel is ideally situated for the beach and the surf schools. It is a bit of a walk to the Medina (around 25 minutes) but this means that it is less noisy at night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Villa Quieta to anyone looking for accommodation in Essaouira.

This was the best and nicest accommodation in our tour through Morocco. Really. The room was very comfy, with enough space and real beds for our children. It was cleaned daily, stocked with water bottles. The staff was friendly and attentive. It is about 20 minutes walk from medina, but in great and quiet area just few steps from the sea. This is a really lovely property. The pictures do not do it justice, the rooms are absolutely beautiful with ornate tiling and decorated tastefully throughout. The villa is spacious, quiet and secluded, about 20 mins stroll towards the medina. It's very close to the main surf schools and some great beach restaurants. We loved the swimming pool. There are only about 12 rooms so there ate never too many guests and it feels very private. Best of all the staff were great, really kind and helpful.

I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Essaouira, Villa Quieta really is quiet. Best nights sleep I’ve had in a while, it’s super quiet the sheets are very very comfortable, so are the mattresses. You have endless rooms to talk and hangout in. The garden is super peaceful with a beautiful elegant and calm cat. The food in the breakfast and we had dinner once it was delicious. The whole staff is super attentive and kind, gives good food suggestions. Bassma was really kind and explained to us where to go in the Medina. The pool was amazing for when we got tired of the beach. The location is super close to the beach, it’s right across the street from the place. Not to mention getting lost in all the art and beautiful interiors of the place it’s like a museum. If you need to clear your head and relax this is where you’ll be best taken care of! Thank you for everything ✨✨✨

Je voulais remercier le personnel de Villa Quieta, il sont d'une extrême gentillesse. Ici , c'est un petit paradis loin du bruit Chaque détail de la villa les tableaux,les petits coins avec une table magnifique, des salon , je me suis senti vraiment chez moi , en style détente. Un petit Parc avec des belles chaises des beaux arbres qu'il les entoure et la piscine qui rafraîchit après une pause au soleil. Je reviendrai c'est sur ❤️

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dit prachtige authentieke riad laat je toe om totaal tot rust te komen. Het is daarbij gelegen aan de promenade / het strand. Goed geïsoleerde kamers. Binnen zijn er vele prachtig ingerichte zithoeken, maar het dakterras is zeker ook n leuke plek om een boek te lezen. Zeer propere kamers, nette matrassen, typisch Marokkaans ontbijt., een gezellige tuin en een mooi zwembad.
Cons: Kleine details ( kleine herstellingen) zouden het hotel een niveau hoger kunnen tillen. Momenteel een zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit!

This is a beautiful property on a quiet street. The staff are very professional and laid-back. The breakfasts are great. You can order eggs as well. I wish we had more time to enjoy the various sitting areas, but we were out and about when we were there.

Die Lage der Villa Quieta war für uns super. Man ist direkt am Strand und hat 3-4 Bars/Restaurants direkt am Strand. Zum Zentrum dauert es ca 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Alternativ nimmt man ein Taxi. Da wir während unseres Aufenthaltes viel mit dem Auto Ausflüge zu benachbarten Stränden gemacht haben, fanden wir die Lage sehr praktisch. Man kann das Auto sicher auf der Straße parken. Diese wird nachts vom Hotel bewacht. Auch der Pool war sehr gut. Etwas kalt, aber wenn man vom Tag aufgeheizt ist, war es perfekt. Man kann am Pool gut entspannen. Das Personal war grundsätzlich hilfsbereit, freundlich und sehr aufmerksam.
Cons: Unser Zimmer hat leider nach alt gerochen. Dies kommt vermutlich von den Möbeln oder dem Einbauschrank, welche ihre besten Zeiten schon hinter sich haben. Der Standard der Ausstattung war niedriger als in unseren anderen Unterkünften in Marokko bei gleichzeitig höherem Preis. Die Bademäntel haben wir nicht benutzt, da sie komplett abgenutzt waren und Löcher hatten. Diese sollten ausgetauscht werden. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss und das Fenster blickte gegen eine Wand. Es war recht dunkel im Zimmer und nicht einladend, dort zu sitzen und zu entspannen. Leider hatten wir auch keinen Balkon (wussten wir vorher). Unser Zimmer hatte zudem eine verschlossene Verbindungstür zum benachbarten Zimmer, welche nicht gut schallisoliert ist. Wenn man laute Gäste auf der anderen Seite hat, hört man jedes Wort. Vor den Fenstern gibt es keinerlei Fliegengitter. Einen Tag hat das Reinigungspersonal die Fenster zum Lüften den ganzen Tag aufgelassen. Wir kamen recht spät von einem Ausflug. In der folgenden Nacht wurden wir von Mücken zerstochen. Einen Tag lagen wir am Pool und ein Mitarbeiter ist zu den anderen Gästen mit einer Menü Karte gegangen für Essen und Snacks. Uns hat er einfach ignoriert :( Alles in allem ist die Villa Quieta keine schlechte Unterkunft. Vermutlich hängt es auch sehr stark vom Zimmer ab, welches man bucht. Auf unserer Marokkoreise war sie aber leider unsere schlechteste Unterkunft und sehr enttäuschend.

Absolutely amazing room overlooking the sea in a fantastic Hotel. Room was huge and bright but the blackout shades allowed for total darkess in the morning. Pool is beautiful and there are many places to relax throughout the villa including a beautiful sea view terrace. Location is a short taxi from the Medina so if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and have a relaxing sea side getaway this is the hotel for you. Would highly recommend.

Supermarket is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute (8 dirham) petite taxi ride away. Beach is literally across the street. Pool was lovely! Staff super helpful. 👏👏👏

Cons: Obwohl 24 Stunden Reception angegeben, war das Tor zur Strasse und zum Eingangbereich schon ab 23h verriegelt. Es war zwar jemand da aber am schlafen und somit nicht oder erst nach 10-15 Min erreichbar. Kein Mensch in Sicht ob man rein oder raus aus dem Hotel wollte. Kein TV ist ein NoGo in dieser Preisklasse und in einem Hotel.

Just spent our short stay in Essaouira at this hotel and I could not have asked for more. It’s close to the hustle and bustle of the Medina but yet tranquil and serene. I had a room with a balcony so could sit and watch the sunset over the sea which is my favourite place to be. We were three ladies on a short break and the suite we had could more than accommodate our needs. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool area situated in beautiful gardens all worthy of my faultless review

Fantastic location right next to the beach. The breakfast was awesome and generous. There is a pool which was very welcomed as the sea can be difficult to access (unless you are kite surfing). The rooms are beautifully decorated, large and super comfortable. Staff are all super friendly and welcoming.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a small lunch menu there too as all meals have to be taken outside of the villa (except for breakfast). Be prepared for a good 20min walk into the town (Medina). You can get a taxi in/back.

We had a great 3 nights staying here and visiting Essaouira. The room was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenage children - large and comfortable with a king-sized bed and 2 big singles up on a mezzanine. The staff were reserved but always friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious and very generous. It worked well for us being right by the beach for surfing and football, and we enjoyed the 20 minute walk along the beach esplanade (or a quick 10mdr taxi ride if you don’t fancy walking) up to the Medina. The pool was lovely and would be great in hotter weather, but a bit cold when we visited in April.

The stay at Villa Quieta was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. I wish we had stayed longer. I read some critical comments on Google calling it "just another hotel" and complaining about the shabby furniture. Well, believe me, it is NOT just another hotel, not even close, and the furniture was the last thing we were thinking about during our stay. We LOVED the decor, the location, the room, the breakfast, the attitude of the staff. It was wonderful, wonderful!!! Many thanks to Villa Quieta for such a comfortable and relaxing stay in the midst of the hectic Moroccan environment. We will be back!

This was our second trip to Morocco, but the first to Essaouira. We loved it, and it's become our favorite location. We wanted to stay away from the busy center and chose Villa Quieta for that reason. It was the perfect choice and lived up to its name. It's near an expansive beach, within easy reach of the Medina and harbor, and has an authentic feel with traditional Moroccan design. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious with a balcony view of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

This is by far the best hotel stay we’ve had in ages - never been met with such hospitality. We came here to kite surf, and the lovely and accommodating staff were to helpful with everything (they even let us use the surf shop next door to store and clean our kites). The breakfast was delicious. We even arrived right after a recent renovation period, and were as a result the only guest at the hotel for a few days, and the staff even gave us a free upgrade. We had the pleasure of staying at the honeymoon suite with a ocean view - simply perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and can’t wait to be back. And have to mention the beautiful garden as well!

Cons: Nous sommes malheureusement tombés pile au moment des grosses pluies, la chambre n’avait ni télévision ni bouilloire ou machine à café , c’est dommage lorsqu’il fait un temps où il est impossible d’aller se ballader en ville . Par ailleurs beaucoup d’infiltrations d’eau dans les chambres et parties communes une fois encore dues aux grosses pluies et idem le vent a fait claquer les portes et fenêtres une bonne partie de la nuit, pas toujours agréable pour se reposer.

Good location near the ocean about a 30-minute walk to town. Ground floor decorated like a riad yet my room enjoyed exterior light with a big sliding glass door. All the personnel were very warm and friendly and the service was great. My room had a nice balcony with plants and a garden view.
Cons: There was an unpleasant smell in the room (#8). I can’t say exactly what it was. But the room was over the kitchen. I kept waking up during the night because of the smell. The room decor is old fashioned and really needs an update.

A Wonderful Stay! We had the pleasure of staying at Villa Quieta and we couldn't be more impressed! The hotel's location was perfect. Villa Quieta was gorgeous - beautifully decorated and spacious. We had the sea view deluxe suite - it was huge - exactly as the picture on their website. The bed was quite big, so was the living room - the terrace had all the amenities to enjoy the sun and the beautiful views over the sea. It’s located right on the beach, which made it very easy to go for a swim or walk along the beach. It was about half an hour walk to the medina, so it’s easy to avoid the hustle and bustle of the medina if you are a fan of quiet holiday. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good too. We paid by card at checkout. It’s was totally worth it and we will definitely go back. We enjoyed Essaouria much more than Marrakech in general - relaxed vibe and friendly people. Our review will be incomplete if we don’t mention the lovely boy who sensed that we had lost our way while following a strange direction to Carrefour provided by Google maps, which is otherwise a 10 mins straight walk from the hotel - he walked all the way to Carrefour with us while chatting to us - so so nice.
Cons: The property doesn’t have any dinner service - you might be able to ask separately but they don’t offer it. The location of the property is such that there are not many nearby restaurant if you want a quick bite - it will be good if they start offering dinner service

An absolutely fabulous place to stay when in Essaouira. We booked the deluxe suite with sea view and the room was perfect. It was enormous with several areas including a dressing room with loads of cupboards and a safe, 2 sitting areas (including one with a tv) and a very large bathroom - there was also a semi-private terrace with 2 sun beds and a table with 2 chairs. Wifi was excellent and the room had a kettle and coffee maker with nespresso pods. Breakfast was very traditional (lots of breads), croissants, pains au chocolate and omelettes with decent coffee and orange juice. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is about 25 minute walk from the medina where most of the restaurants are based but just opposite the beach where there are a few fabulous bars with live djs. Carrefour supermarket (which sells alcohol everyday except Fridays an£ fresh baguettes) is a 15 minute walk away. There are many atms on the walk to the medina ( check charges for withdrawal as they are all different). We loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Such a relaxing place to be! Every corner of Villa Quieta is delightful with something interesting to see. It is VERY quiet - which for us was great. The fresh orange juice! This is a fascinating house with so much traditional and exquisite craftsmanship in the architecture. We would have liked to have had more information about the history of the house. The team were lovely and helpful and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
Cons: It would be useful to have information in the room containing the WiFi password, instructions for the safe, nearby restaurants with opening times. However, the reception team provided everything we needed the following morning. It would be great to be able to get something small to eat outside of breakfast so you don't have to leave the Villa.

Tout était formidable… L'accueil le personnel incroyable… Aussi bien dans l'hôtel que le gardien qui passe la nuit à surveiller votre voiture… Le petit déjeuner fantastique les chambres supérieures avec vue sur la mer sont géniales... Les femmes de ménage efficaces , la piscine absolument nickel avec toujours des serviettes à disposition... Un tout petit bémol le manque d'insonorisation entre les chambres du deuxième étage. Nous avons eu la malchance d'avoir des voisins mal élevés qui criaient très fort dans le petit salon ( adorable!) à côté de notre chambre mais l'hôtel n'y est pour rien.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, du service impeccable au confort des chambres. Le personnel est très attentionné et toujours prêt à répondre à vos besoins. L'emplacement est idéal et les installations sont de grande qualité.

Very pleasant hotel. Spacious, lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Swimming pool was lovely and really nice place to chill for a few hours. Breakfast was fine, same everyday though and far too much food, I hope the leftover isn't wasted. Staff were quiet and helpful. We just found it lacked atmosphere, quite a functional feeling to the place. Bill needs to be settled by cash which was a surprise for a 4 star hotel and they said they didn't have any change at all either, which seems odd. Hotel is an easy 20 min walk to the heart of Essaouira, heed all the warnings that this place is seriously windy!!!

This riad is very nice - the rooms are spacious and the location is quiet, outside the medina by a mile or so but right off the ocean (there is a busy street between the riad and the ocean though) with some restaurants on the beach. There were camels on the beach and wind surfers, which was fun to see. The breakfast was good, made to order. The grounds are very pretty. Our only issue was that our A/C was broken and it was really hot in our room. We kept telling them it was broken and they insisted it was working because the fan was coming on, but the air coming out was hot. We finally were able to tell the owner, who called a repairman who said it needed to be replaced. Of course that could not happen while we were there. They said they would give us a portable A/C - you guessed it, a fan! Our driver complained for us, and they then comped us a night (we were there 4 nights), which was nice. They also made a special dinner for us, which was delicious - they do not serve dinner there usually, so that was a nice gesture. We loved Essaouira and the medina there, and we would stay here again.

Without a doubt, Essaouira is the ultimate place to be! Bassma is an exceptionally professional and consistently goes the extra mile to assist guests. The garden and the swimming pool are undisputed gems. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with proximity to the beach and a mere ten-minute walk from the city centre.

The decor was beautiful. The gardens and pool were extremely relaxing. Lots of little nooks and rooms to hang out in throughout the premesis. The pasta dishes were amazing. Our room was very quiet and the bathroom was brilliant with a really good walk in shower.
Cons: A TV and a phone to reception in the room would have been nice. The air conditioning unit was a bit loud to sleep with and the balcony door wouldn't lock. The mattress was also a bit too hard for my back.

la villa est magnifique, proche de la medina à pied (15' en longeant la plage ou 5' en taxi). Le personnel au top, une mention spéciale pour othmane qui nous a aidé : nous avons dû aller aux urgences en pleine nuit et il nous a accompagné et beaucoup aidé (la nuit puis tout le lendemain matin). cela nous a soulagé de pouvoir compter sur qqn de local. vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Belle piscine et petit jardin cosy pour parfaire le séjour. Une adresse sérieuse à conseiller.

L’authenticité du lieu , le calme , la propreté , la sécurité , le confort de la chambre , les nombreux petits salons.
Cons: Belle piscine mais pas chauffée , nous ne l’avons donc pas utilisée car eau trop froide . Trop loin de la médina surtout si on fait plusieurs aller retour dans la journée . Également , nous avons été très surpris des tarifs annoncés par l’hôtel pour un transfert aller retour Essaouira /Marrakech pour 2 ( 1500 dirhams par personne et par trajet soit environ 562€ aller retour pour 2 ) . Après quelques recherches , nous avons trouvé un trajet aller pour 2 à 93,5€ via booking et un trajet retour pour 2 à 85€ négocié directement avec le chauffeur soit un total de 178,50€ . Un peu abusé , non ?!

This Riad was more like a palace. It was huge and exceedingly beautiful, both the public areas and the suite that we stayed in. Breakfast was generous and varied. The pool was beautiful and I wish I had had more time just to spend by the pool. Staff were polite, attentive and helpful. I would most definitely return.
Cons: There is no restaurant for an evening meal, but the rooms had fridges and there are restaurants only 5 minutes walk away.

We looked for a property suitable for families with a pool. The main areas are beautifully decorated with the tiles and painted doors. The staff are helpful and friendly. The Breakfast was huge - a feast ! The family room was beautiful cleaned had a mezzanine with the kids enjoyed and there was a separate entrance to the pool. Poolside snacks available
Cons: We thought the outside areas needed a little updating - the gardens, the cushions / tables / looking worn out and broken. - the bathroom was in the basement and definitely smelt a little musty . The stairs were tiled and very sharp ( just a watch out as my daughter slipped and hurt her legs)

Cons: Etant non loin de l'avenue, on entend les voitures si on dort la fenêtre ouverte, ce qui est mon cas, été comme hiver. J'ai passé 2 nuits en chambre supérieure, lit très confortable. Par contre, pour les 2 nuits dans la chambre standard, nette différence, literie pas confortable du tout et signal lumineux de l'airco assez dérangeant. Impossible de l'arrêter complètement. Sinon, la prestation globale est très semblable. Comme l'hôtel est grand avec peu de chambres, une ambiance un peu fantôme que j'ai moyennement appréciée. Pas de musique de fond, on ne croise quasi personne. Calme, certes mais c'est un peu tristounet à mon goût.

Cons: I have asthma so too much carpet and throw pillows aren't really good for dust mites which I react to. The rooms felt somewhat dark and could use a refresh. While we appreciated the friendly staff, convenient location, and breakfast, the high cost and condition of the rooms made it feel like it wasn’t worth the price. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the experience.

Cons: Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war leider nicht optimal. Der Safe funktionierte nicht richtig und stand unbefestigt im Schrank. Der Fensterrolladen ließ sich nur sehr krachend auf und ab bewegen. Das Fenster zum Balkon ließ sich nicht verschließen. Da es im oberen Geschoss war fühlte man sich trotzdem sicher. Wenige Steckdosen. Wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad.

We stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed every moment. A clear revommendation if you are going to stay in Essaouira.

We spent just one night here, the last before travelling back and Mourad took good care of us, even though we were a bit sad of leaving he made our stay so pleasant and nice! He really helped us with anything! The building and the interiors are awesome! There is a lovely garden and swimming pool! The breakfast was delicious and the room very comfortable and spacious! Essaouira it’s a little gem and we will be back! The parking was literally in front and for free! There is a windsurf and kitesurfing camp directly at the location! That is great!

Cons: Leider wurde uns nur ganz kurz das Zimmer gezeigt, Für WLAN Passwort, wann das Frühstück ist, ob es Aktivitäten gibt, mussten wir alles selber nachfragen. Das Personal war nicht unfreundlich aber auch nicht interessiert. Da hätten wir etwas mehr erwartet laut Bewertung.

Incredible place. 11/10. Stunning Maroccan decor, extremely polite and available staff, exceptional breakfast. Honestly extremely warm hospitality and excellent value for money. Would strongly recommend to any friend or family to stay here. Lovely pool in a beautiful garden oasis full of colour full flowers. They also have a surf rental and lesson shop built in for both surf and kite surf - we didn’t know this in advance but it was a massive added bonus as it made activities very stress free!

We loved the location, a few minutes walk to the beach and a choice of beach clubs for eating and chilling. This part of the beach has kite surfing camel and horse riding. The riad is lovely and we enjoyed chilling by the pool which is very sheltered. The walk in to town (20mins) is along the beach promenade and we usually got a taxi back for around £1. Lovely rooftop restaurants in the medina. Staff at Villa Quieta were always very helpful and kind.
Cons: We were woken up at 7 every morning by what sounded like a juice smoothie type machine. Not a big deal and it maybe only ground floor rooms that heard it

We spend 8 days at Villa Quieta and had the opportunity to spend time in different rooms, because of our late minute booking. This hotel is gorgeous (original Marrocan style) and will placed just in front of the beach. Villa Quita’s team is just top! Ready to help whenever needed. We’ve liked the atmosphere of being a smaller hotel compared to others, it is there for well suited for families or groups. We had 2 days of introduction to kitesurfing with Kamal. A top experience! Because the wind was between 50-60km/h, he took us to a place which was perfect to get introduced to it, even with these extreme (for beginners) conditions. I’d advise this hotel for the following reasons: Cosy and authentic hotel Great quality (large) rooms Fantastic team ! Close (1km) to the fabulous medina - and yet not having the noise of staying in the medina Btw, plenty of top restaurants in the medina!! Great instructors for kitesurfing and surfing 50 meters from the beach The garden is an oasis of peace Airport of Essaouira is at 15 min Definitely will come back!

Die Lage des Hotels zum Strand am Ortrand ist sehr gut und die Entfernung zur Medina fußläufig kein Problem. Das Zimmer im 1.OG mit Blick ( toll ) auf den Atlantik - auch so gebucht - ist groß und gut ausgestattet, ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit umfangreichem Angebot
Cons: Das Hotel zeigte bei den Zimmern, dass verschiedene Renovierungen angebracht wären. Hier ist jedoch ist die Ausstattung noch akzeptabel, jedoch bei Wind und Regen dringt Wasser durch die undichten Fenster ins Zimmer. Allerdings fällt das Hotel beim Preis / Leistungsverhältnis etwas ab und war auf der über zweiwöchigen Reise mit das Teuerste.

Schöne Gartenanlage und Pool, traumhafte Dachterrasse mit Blick auf die Promenade und Meer, sehr entspannte Sitzmöglichkeit. Frühstück wir im Erdgeschosse in großzügiger Empfangshalle mit toller Einrichtung serviert. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Villa Quieta was precisely what I expected. Located away from the medina but less than 5 minutes in a petit taxi or a pleasant 20 minute walk. All staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We will go back.

Villa Quieta is a fantastic establishment (we discovered it is the oldest hotel in Essaouira) with beautiful original decoration and great facilities. We stayed in one of the suites which was very spacious and well equipped, with a nice terrace. The hotel is in front of the sea and at around 30' walk from the old city (less than 10' by taxi, which are very inexpensive). The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

We liked everything in Villa Quieta! very helpful staff, reach breakfast, great location is 100m from the beach and between 3 main kite/surf stations. you can see the see from the common terrace. Villa itself greatly furnished in oriental stile with a large comfortable rooms and lot of common space, including large chess table. Once we asked to serve a breakfast on the terrace and that was great! The taxi to medina costs only 1 USD and easy to catch on the nearest crossover.
Cons: all good. I'd only be little more happy if we'd have sausages or hum (turkey or any other, if they don't serve pork) for breakfast)... But that was everywhere in Marocco. There was a board game in a saloon, but that was in French, we'd appreciate some english board games, that would help us during that very rare rainy day

I’ve stayed at 11 properties around Essaouira, and Villa Quieta has the best wifi. I tested the upload and download speed in three rooms and each was 40+ mbps and 25+ mbps, respectively. Nadia and Besma are excellent receptionists and they gave me a number of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Essaouira. Another staff member walked me to an ATM when he coincidentally saw me walking a kilometre away from the villa when he was on his break. The housekeeping staff was attentive.

Las habitaciones y el baño son muy espaciosos, tienen un balcón muy agradable que en nuestro caso daba al jardín, y una cama muy cómoda. El personal muy amable. La ubicación, a pesar de no estar en pleno centro, está a 30 min a pie por un paseo maritímo que vale la pena recorrer, así que no es un problema.
Cons: Quizás le falta un poco de mantenimiento en algún detalle, ya que las puertas y ventanas son bastante antiguas.

Breakfast was brilliant and having it in that nice setting they had laid out was very peaceful. The room was very nice and the staff were lovely! Whenever we asked for extra plates or anything in general, they would help with a smile on their face. We used to order food from the villa in the afternoon and it was lovely. One time they gave us a free starter and the turnaround time was really good. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: The room was very nice but one of the bathroom facility was not working properly however that didn’t stop us from using it so overall not bad. The room was situated near a lounge that had a fire place which was lit at night because of the cold. The smoke smell entered into the room very distinctively but again it wasn’t terrible and the smell was not present in the bedroom it self, so overall it was fine.

The property is amazing and pictures do it now justice. Staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was fabulous! The real surprise was the lovely garden - a hidden oasis of peace.
