Posizione perfetta, all'interno della medina ma comunque facilmente accessibile anche ai taxi (che si fermano all'ingresso della via, qualche metro prima del Riad). Colazione ottima e abbondante. Stanze molto spaziose (per una notte ci hanno fatto l'upgrade gratuitamente) e letto comodissimo. I ragazzi della reception molto gentili e disponibili.

The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is delicious and plenty! Tried the Hammam spa for the experience which was lovely. We ran a little late for our train and the staff helped us to a taxi. The riad doesn’t do card payment so make sure you have enough MAD for any extra expenses. The riad is close to the outside of the Medina which is helpful when trying to find accommodation in this area when maps don’t work well.
Cons: Nothing

Beautiful property in the Batha neighbourhood off the Medina. Great breakfast and dinner at hotel and clean comfortable rooms. Staff, especially Hayat, made us feel right at home as two gals travelling together. She looked out for us and walked us to the taxi to help us get around. Highly recommend this riad.
Cons: Nothing!

The decoration is amazing ! So genuine, comfortable, clean! The area is approximately 5 minutes waking from the “blue gate” and the Medina! It’s safe and a bit crowded. The riad has a terrace where you can sit and relax while drinking a traditional Moroccan mint tea 🍵 (100/100) The staff are really friendly and welcoming!! It feels like being at home!! (100/100) Our new friend Hayat made us smile a lot!! She made some traditional henna for us, explained about Moroccan heritage and immersed us into the country! Also, she taught us some phrases in Arabic and Dariya. She also speaks English, French and very soon Spanish ! Thanks a lot !! You are unique, beautiful, friendly, kind and very intelligent! Hassan, helped us to find a driver from the CTM station 🚉 to the Riad. Thank you! Breakfast was delicious and enough to gain some energy for the rest of the day ! Thanks a lot Hayat and Hassan !!

The staff were kind and caring. Will go beyond for our comfort. Allowed us in early for check in. Our flight was early in the morning so could not attend breakfast, the kind people even packed us some bread, fruit and juice for the taxi to the airport. Cannot thank them enough. Breakfast and dinner were great. If we ever return to Fez we will definitely stay again

A lovely riad with a very pretty courtyard, and excellent staff. Khalid was kindly waiting for us when we arrived after having spoken to our driver, and was very helpful throughout our stay. He even made us breakfast early one day as we had to leave early, and he helped us call a driver. The breakfast is plentiful and the location of the riad is easy to reach the medina and get taxis from the nearby square

Birds singing inside, traditional looking, clean Riad and exceptional hospitality. We got our room cleaned daily like in hotel, all mess was arranged. Young employee Khalid made sure our stay is memorable. We will get his servises in the future because he is also a giude for a desert experience.
Cons: It was chilly, and we needed jackets, especially in the main area in the evenings and mornings.

Good breakfast and location. We had to leave very early and the provided breakfast to go.
Cons: Our room was on the last floor, close do to the loundry, one doesn't feel to be part of the riad: you had to pass the dirty linen to get to the room... The wardrobe had no hangers and no batteries in the remote control. Considering its price I was expecting a completely diferent experience.

I feel like being at home. First, the location is very good and it's in the center of medina of Fes. It's very easy to go to the medina and explore the old town. Second, the staff working in this riad are very kind and nice, and they always love to help, especially khalid. He picked me up at night when I arrived at Fes. He also prepared mint tea every time and recommended some tourist attractions, like Volubilis which is the most fantastic part of my staying in Fes. He arranged a driver who picked me up in my riad, and visiting the remains of Roman Empire was super memorable. The day I left Fes was very early, at 7 in the morning, so he got up early to prepare breakfast for me, that's so heartmelting. Normally, it's hard to hail a taxi that early, he helped to call a taxi for me, so that I arrived at CTM bus station very conveniently. Also, I like the decoration in Riad Thara. The mosaic walls and the beautiful lamps and the terrace where I like sitting there bathing in sunshine. Anyway, every one in this riad helps me and I feel so lucky.
Cons: Nothing, everything is super good.

Good location. Staff were nice. Wifi was ok. Breakfast was sufficient but nothing outstanding.
Cons: We had a room in the roof next to the laundry/cleaning room so didn't feel like you were part of the hotel. The terrace was right above us so it was very loud. Room is not as nice as in the photos. Room lacked basics like kettle. No elevators for luggage but staff will help you if you need.

Riad Tahra & Spa was an excellent choice for our stay in Fes. It was located in a perfect location within the Medina. It was close to all of the sites we wanted to see and also restaurants. The Riad itself is beautiful. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was abundant. Eggs weren't on the "menu" but they happily made some for our group. Youssef and Ali went ABOVE and BEYOND in doing anything for us. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they certainly made it a special trip!!
Cons: The description says there is a rooftop terrace. There is a terrace but it is very small & the stairs to get there can be hard for people with mobility issues. Again, from a mobility issue, in order to get into the shower you must use steps to step over the side of the tub.

The location of the riad is a short walk from the main thoroughfare and a short walk to the Medina. The room was the decent size with a private bathroom. The breakfast was filling and delicious. I was able to go to a hammam that was a short walk away and have some laundry done. Reception was very helpful and made sure I had whatever I needed.
Cons: Make sure you bring cash dirhams for the city tax and any extras (like the hammam and laundry). The riad doesn't normally take cards.

The Riad was gorgeous and very spacious, breakfast area was breathtaking and the food was also delicious (we even had an early check-out breakfast at 7 am). The staff were super nice and helpful, Ali even helped us with transfer to and from the Riad. The bed was a firm mattress, very comfortable, one of the best beds I've ever slept on.
Cons: The bathroom was very small, you could barely turn in the shower and the shower head was placed super low, which was inconvenient. Everything else was 10/10

Lovely decoration, breakfast and bed. Our host Ali was incredible, very hard-working and always with a smile, made our stay much better.
Cons: Watch out when entering the street, some guys will try to tell that it is closed, ignore them because they are lying to try to get a commission by taking you somewhere else. Entrance was a bit dark, wish it would have more light. Shower didn't have hot water on our last day, don't know if it was a general problem.

Cons: We had 3 rooms reserved and couldn’t check in to any of them before 16:30. They said it was due to late check out yet they wouldn’t give us a late checkout for any of our rooms. One of the rooms continuously smelled like sewer. The TVs in the rooms only had German language programs. The spa is a total rip off: $45 for a hammam with a used glove!!!! And cold room.

WARNING! Do not trust the owners of this Riad, who also own Riad Louna and Jardin Chirfa. I booked 3 nights at Tahra, and upon my arrival I was told there was a problem and could not stay (=somebody else offered more for the room so they gave it away, I bet). I was put in an inferior room at Jardin Chirfa (very noisy, smells like sewer, old tiny shower, no hot water in sink, etc). I spent the 2nd night at Tahra, but I was told that I would have to move for the third night because they did not have my reservation and somebody else was coming. Even after hotels.com emailed them the reservation again, they refused to honor it. Long story short, instead of trying to please me, they promised and then reneged on a discount, and argued with me. They were rude and unprofessional, and put me in the even worse and older/noisier Riad Louna (don't believe the pictures). Forget customer satisfaction! I left and found a much friendlier and more decent Riad. Skip them: they do not deserve your business. The worse of Morocco.

They didn't answer phone calls or emails. They had my arrival as the next day, so put me in another riad for first night at lower price point but charged me for original. They wanted payment right away in cash (nothing on web site about it), took me to ATMs (which don't work if ATM card has a chip like mine). Finally ended up accepting my credit card for payment 2 days later but threatened to "move" me to another hotel. Bed was rock hard, and another guest told me same for his. All the real work done by Mimid, who was there 7/7, and the cook. Manager and owner not around much, manager had temper tantrums when things went wrong, owner said all hotels and trains wouldn't accept credit cards, not true (I held onto spending money in case I needed it to leave Morocco so couldn't buy some gifts.) Fez is great but not Riad Tahra (or Riad Louna, same owners). Everyone else in Fez was really nice, including Mimid, but not the manager and owner.
