Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We really loved Magid especially who made us feel right at home! The last morning we were leaving very early and one of the staff got up to make us breakfast despite us telling them it was not necessary. We enjoyed live music one night and food was delicious as well. The location cannot be beat if you're here for climbing. There were several other climbing groups here as well when we stayed and we enjoyed getting to meet them.

The hotel is located at the entrance of the gorge. If you are here for climbing this is the best hotel for you. Beatiful location, you can get to all the sectors of the main gorge on foot, there is also the car parking if you need it. The prices are very conveniente and the breakfast is good. It is also a good restaurant, if you dont want to take the car to get to Tinghir or elsewhere for your meals. Staff is kind and helpful

Perfektní lokalita, lepší být nemůže, přímo za hotelem již začíná soutěska. Personál velmi ochotný a vstřícný, neustále se utvrzoval, že nám nic nechybí. Pokoje jsou velmi stroze vybaveny, beton na podlaze je částečně překrýt kobercem. Vše je celkem funkční, ale sneslo by to lehký upgrade. Ale nejeli jsme zde za luxusem, ale za lokalitou a za dobrým jídlem (dle recenzí). Perfektní byl čerstvý pomerančový dzus. Pozdě odpoledne není problém zaparkovat před hotelem, přes den je to problém, je tam velký provoz turistických autobusů, které navážejí lidí do soutěsky. Celkově za danou cenu dobrý servis, jídlo lehce za vysokým očekáváním.

Cons: Jídlo nad trochu zklamalo, porce dobré, ale ne zcela dochucené, některé nebylo teplé, stejně jako espresso, které byl chutné, ale vlažné. Snídaně slabší než v obdobných zařízeních.

We had a great stay - the location is beautiful and perfect for walking up the gorge and for climbers. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful (thanks Majid for your recommendations and service!). It's simple accommodation with just the necessities but it's clean, comfortable, it has hot water (although we were temporarily fooled by the two blue taps!) and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We stayed in the family room, which is perfect for bigger families. Highly recommend.

We felt at home. Majid was very friendly to us and a great host, we felt like we are family from the beginning. Food was delicious and portions were big. The hotel is at a very good location, at the entrance of the gorge. If you are climbing (or not) you won't need to use a car to go around. Cons: - tens of flies in the room - leaking shower heavily reducing the ability to take a shower plus splashing all over the place - donkey roaring early in the morning and waking you up (is this also the explanation for the flies?) - way to get there was through a maze of alleys, dark in the evening. Got lost on the way back to the car. Actually, even though wehave booked a room in Etoile des Gorges, we were placed in Jardin des Gorges (or similar) - a completely different place, owned by the same guy, as explained.

Cons: They tried to charge us for air conditioning, even though it was clearly included in our booking. The staff kept stalling about needing to wait for their boss to give us the remote, finally they gave it up when I went downstairs late (maybe 1am) because one of the staff was yelling into their phone at reception. Also holds the distinction of the worst breakfast and worst tagine we had in Morocco. You can easily stay a few minutes down the road at a heap of other places...

The first of all - this hotel has the perfect location,esp for climbers becase the nearest climbing area is right in front of the hotel and you literally can touch the rock from the window. The room has a very simple furniture but everything was clean. The breakfast was really nice and tasty (and the whole meal in the restaurant on the 1st floor was good). warning - these mattresses are perfect for hard mattresse lovers. Staff are nice and helpful and they have climbing guidebooks)

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (many blankets for cold nights, helpful with hot water) and the breakfast was great. The location next to the gorge was also really nice. The building and room could be in better shape, but considering the price, there's not much to complain :)

Cons: Our room was very basic and extremely cold during the night (December). The bathroom was also not so great as the amenities seemed to be pretty old. It was also quite a challenge to get a hot shower (the staff was very helpful, but the amenities didn't work as they should). We also didn't get the room we booked (as we only realized that after some time, we didn't complain) but noticed that other rooms looked a bit better and had AC/heating.

It has been the best accommodation in my travel around Morocco. Humbles room , but clean and enough for what you need. The location is amazing. Wow, what an awesome place to stay! We stayed a full week here to climb and ate every meal at the restaurant. It is by far the best location and best value of our entire trip. The staff works 24/7 to make your stay amazing. You walk out the door and the climbing is right in front of you! If we come back this is the only place I would stay.

We've spent there one week climbing and can recommend this place. It's not a luxury hotel but it gives everything that we needed in good price: - big and good breakfast and dinner. It wasn't a problem to order a meal even when one day we returned from long climb after 9 pm - it was cool in our room even when it was hot outside - friendly staff - wifi enough for doing basic things in internet - great localisation. Just few minutes walk to the closest sport and multipitch crags - no problem with communication in English and the owner even knows several words in Polish

Best location for those wanting to do rock climbing or hiking in the gorge. Our family of 4 enjoyed a weekend here, and this was the perfect spot. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the price is unbeatable - and includes breakfast. The hot showers are the perfect end to a day outside. We recommend Etoile des Gorge to those visiting Todra, and wanting to be right at the entrance to the gorge, and near to all of the great rock climbing routes.

The location at the entrance of the gorge is ideal. We were greeted warmly each time we entered the building, and the beds were firm and comfortable.

Cons: HOWEVER, the lack of cleanliness left us disappointed. The soap dish and toothbrush holder had not been cleaned. The bath mat was soaked from the last guests, and tables in the dining room all had crumbs and food on them. (We had to wipe them ourselves each time we sat down.) We chose this guesthouse because the average ratings were high, and maybe it’s better than some places in town, but in comparison to all the other places we have stayed in Morocco (and we’ve been here over 2 weeks), this was not up to the standards we have come to expect from Moroccan guesthouses. They first put us in the wrong room (we were 2 and they put us in a room for 4. I even asked if he was sure this was our room. This caused a delay to the family waiting for us to move. Even in the first room I noticed the soap dish was dirty. Thread bare is acceptable, dirty is not. Tolerable for one night.

Super friendly and open hosts! Brought us blankets, organised warm water for showering for us and tended to each of our wishes. The location of this building is really amazing! You are sleeping directly next to the highlight of the Todra gorge and can walk to it within 5 minutes. You also have such a great view from the many connected balconies and the roof terraces! You can also watch the stars. The food was so delicious as well. Normal prices (around 80 Dh per person) but really delicious and a huge amount of food. The breakfast was one of the best we had throughout our trip.

Cons: Unfortunately the room was really cold and there was no heating/ possibility for heating. So it wasn't that comfy. But the hosts brought us a lot of warm blankets. Bathroom facilities weren't really clean, but for the price ok.

Good deal if you have a small budget. Not if you want more luxury. The hotel is at a stunning location at the start of the canyon (gorge). The host, Karim, is very friendly, speaks many languages and goes out of his way to help you out with information. Absolute top spot for climbers, the spots are right in front of the door. There’s also a great half day hike (500 m ascension) passing by the hotel with one of the most stunning views. Maybe the most beautiful I’ve ever done. Find and download the route online before going. Do count on some begging. The hotel has breakfast included, an omelet and bread with marmelade and honey. However, keep in mind the hotel is not luxurious. Internet is very slow, too slow to book your next tickets. No cellphone reception. Hot water was only available in the evening. Beds were not super comfortable. In January it can be pretty cold, also inside. But we still highly recommend staying at this property.

Manager Hakkim extremely sweet, welcoming and accommodating. Good breakfast. Had only occupied room on an entire floor with terrace. Sweet! Riverside location perfect for hiking in gorge

The location is excellent if you come to todra gorge for climbing. The approach to the nearest route is less than 1 min from this hotel. The rooms are not equal in comfort though they are equal in price! I have stayed in two rooms- #26 (2nd floor) and #27 (3rd floor). Room #26 (2nd floor) is great. It’s got an excellent view, and, most importantly, it’s got 4 windows, which allow air circulation and keep the room at a comfortable temperature. This is important because they don’t have air conditioning and they don’t provide fans.

Cons: Room #27 (3rd floor) is awful. It has only one small window, and it doesn’t have a good view. The temperature in this room at night was ridiculously hot. I couldn’t sleep at all! I tried sleeping on the couches outside, but there were mosquitoes. Eventually, I opened my room door and the terrace door across the hall to try to get a cross breeze. This made it tolerable, but then I had no privacy. If you come here in July as I did, stay away from room #27! Finally, I have a complaint about one of the staff. Most of the staff members were fine. They were friendly and helpful. Nourddine, the owner’s brother, was a little too friendly and asked me to have sex with him. I had to say no multiple times before he stopped asking, but afterwards he continued to try to get me alone. It made me very uncomfortable. So be careful if you’re a solo female traveler.

トドラ渓谷でロッククライミングをするために滞在しました。wifiは宿に頼んで入れてもらう形になり1階のフロント前で繋がります。よくも悪くも田舎です。夜になると電気も止まります。渓谷の目の前の立地を楽しめる方にはオススメです。

Mal. Directamente nos fuimos. El baño no tenía puerta y era mínimo. La habitación estaba Toda derruida. El wifi no andaba y la electricidad solo se da por un par de horas. Hay muchos hoteles en la zona y en Tinihir está lleno, no son nada caros. Ni vaya, por ese precio tiene cosas mucho mejores, es una lástima que en esta época se sigan ofreciendo este tipo de cosas. La página lo tendría que sacar de oferta.

went to the Gorge for climbing, this hotel was great for that. also according to one of the climbing guides, it is the hotel with the best food in the gorge. breakfast included, dinner for purchase, both were delicious and way more than we could eat!

Dejligt sted,fantastisk udsigt til bjerge og folk det kravlede på dem. Dejlig terrasse og meget hyggeligt indendørs. Aldrig har vi fået så veltillavet mad. Køkkendamerne skal have mindst '' 20'" hver. Alt i alt et godt sted uden den store luksus, men en fantastisk hjemmelig stemning . Tak tak for 4 dejlige dage Elizabeth og John

Hotel persons are very friendly and helpful. Just ask for what you need. You will not find a close place to the cliffs of Tinghir Gorges. The hotel is located at the mouth of the Gorges. Hotel is good for small budget. Great for backpackers. Electricity and Wifi are on from sunset time to around 10:30pm. WIFI is also on during the day whenever there is sun.

+: Nice surroundings. Free parking. Cheap price. Breakfast was OK. -: Terrible room: everything is very old and tired; someone's hair on pillows and sheets; strong sewerage smell in the bathroom; leaking tap. Terrible soundproofing. No electricity (and thus no internet and no opportunity to switch devices) for half a day. Very slow and permanently dissapearing internet. Overall very bad experience.

Hotel molto carino e curato nei particolari. La hall è colorata e accogliente così come il personale. C'era un ragazzo che durante la compilazione dei moduli per le camere ci ha offerto un buonissimo the alla menta! La camera (con letto a una piazza e mezza) è accogliente, il bagno in camera ha la tenda al posto della porta e l'acqua della doccia è calda, anche se inizialmente non arrivava... Basta farla scorrere per parecchio tempo e controllare che non sono inveriti i rubinetti di acqua fredda/calda. Ottima colazione inclusa nel prezzo della camera e ottima cena da pagare a parte (un po' cara rispetto agli standart marocchini ma buonissima!)
