Worst hotel I’ve booked. You arrive to check in on time and they make up excuses like “the cleaner is still cleaning” for 3 hours. To top it off they were rude. Every time you go down to reception you catch a family complaining at their desk. When you arrive in the room that’s been “cleaned for 3 hours”, you find the windows, bathroom, bed, floor and cupboards all covered in dust and dirt. The pillows had blood stains on them. There were dead bugs in the bathtub. if you paid extra for their breakfast, some of their food that’s still old from the day before. There aren’t enough spoons, forks, knives, bowls cups or plates to go around and the place is PACKED to the brim. You’ll be pushing and shoving. Every morning you line up for eggs and msmen until your clothes smelt like oil. The hot water, juice and mint for the tea would finish and wouldn’t be filled up. And the tables are all dirty as well. Once in a while they’ll come and wipe it down with a paper towel. An hour into breakfast you’ll see that the food runs out. Free parking but no parking spaces available. The lobby is full of smokers without a no smoking sign, so you can’t enjoy a drink there. The hamam’s owner screamed and disrespected the girls who were working there in front of us, and they looked frightened. Bare in mind these girls were extremely nice and respectful. A man also walked out of the hamam naked, in front of my underage girls. Extremely poorly managed hamam in comparison to the rest of Morocco.

We stayed at Hotel Hamilton Agadir for five days. Unfortunately, upon arrival we didn’t feel welcomed. We had to wait around until we spoke to reception to start the check-in. I understand they are under stress, but being welcoming is part of the job, and this was missing throughout our stay. The room wasn’t very clean, and there was a noticeable smell of chemicals. The toilet felt disgusting and wasn’t cleaned properly, which was very disappointing for me, my wife, and our seven-year-old daughter. Sheets weren’t changed daily unless we asked. Despite the hotel knowing we were three people, they didn’t provide an extra pillow even after we asked three times. On the positive side, night staff Ismail was very helpful and kind. Excursions at the hotel were excellent—Ayyub, in particular, was very helpful and had great rates. The pool was nice, and the hotel is cheap for a quick getaway. Parking can be tricky due to a nearby club, and although it’s advertised as free, attendants sometimes ask for money. The 200 MAD refundable deposit for the ironer seemed excessive. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with helpful staff like Ismail and Ayyub, but cleanliness, welcoming service, and parking logistics could be improved.

Honteux drap sale à notre arrivée, heureusement que j’en avais apporté au cas où ! Je m’en suis rendu compte le soir , trop tard pour espérer un changement, j’informe la réception au petit matin il s’excuse et m’informe que le nécessaire va être fait , le soir je vérifie ils ont juste refait le lit avec les mêmes draps ! La piscine est sale je n’ai pas tenté ! Et le spa passe mais j’ai eu un. Hammam sans eau chaude car à mon arrivée en panne ! Le soins était déjà sur ma peau !!!! Séjour de 3 jours hâte de partir !

The hotel is in a great location, it has a nice swimming pool, be careful as in places it is 3M deep! The rooms are clean and spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. The aircon worked great. The rooms do need some updating and maintenance. The staff the desk are rude, obnoxious and think they are untouchable. They fob you off, never send any one to sort any issue out and they just lie, useless and unhelpful. The concierge man, the life guard and the tour organiser are really top guys and will help you. Also they demand €2 a night you use the room safe, but they never came to set it up after asking 100 times. The cleaners will enter your room even if you say wait or no even with the do not disturb sign displayed. I did have someone try to enter my room, when they realised I was in there they ran off. Over all nice location good spacious clean room, certain staff are very helpful however, the reception staff let it down! Tip get a safe sorted before you check in!

Overall satisfactory establishment, very courteous and efficient cleaning staff, dilapidated rooms and some with a lot of humidity. Bedding not very comfortable. Good geographical location, access to the beach, town center and market without any particular difficulty, noise from the hotel and surrounding establishments can cause some difficulties in getting a good night's rest. Overall very average for a four-star hotel, somewhat disappointed compared to our expectations.

The room was filthy—dirty sheets, towels, floors, mirrors, headboard, and bathroom. The smell was awful. I begged for another room, but the second one was just as bad. Loud music blasted from the pool from morning until 9 PM. No internet in the room, and even in the lounge or balcony it was painfully slow. For the price they charge, I expected much better. I deeply regret not reading the reviews before booking. Do not stay here.

We did enjoy sitting at the garden area by the swimming pool, and that was the only great thing about this hotel in my opinion! The hotel rooms are outdated and in dire need of renovation and maintenance, especially the bathrooms! It’s those kind of rooms where you have to keep the windows open at night in order to sleep, because of the moldy smell, and bring your own pillowcase because of how dirty it feels! Compared to another hotel we stayed in the nights before, the front desk staff weren’t flexible when it came to our ID’s and required physical non copy ID’s for all of us in order to check us in, which resulted in one of us having to go to the police station to get a pass! They didn’t accept a driver’s license identification nor an ID copy! Very inconvenient! The property itself has great potential if they just renovated and kept maintaining it! So many night clubs surrounding the area and it looks like some prostitution going on in the hotel rooms as well, so not very family friendly!

Stayed with my young kids as a stop over for my flight the next day got there late and nobody helped with luggage from the taxi to the hotel but the check in staff looked after me after that and allows a late check out as I was with my kids and they were tired and needed a good nights rest

The room was fine, everything else quite old and used. Also, in the evening, it was really loud due to music from the hotel next doors. Location wise it‘s fine simce the beach is quite close by foot. Would not book again tough.

Worst property , no customer service at all. Paid extra for late check out but still forced to leave early. Took towel and the staff informed that have to wait until it get cleaned. No phone in the room so have to go phyiscally to the reception.

Terrible staff. Very rude reception. Especially Mehdi. Because we are two male mates they assumed we were gay, we are not but that should not matter. Very homophobic I was shocked at their behaviour. Do not stay here. The most rudest reception staff I have ever come across. Manager is no where to be found and does not address any issues for his clients. Avoid.

The place is a dump for a 5 star hotel, no towels in the room, 8hrs to get the towels , the parking lot is filled with drunks, fights and working girls at night. The breakfast is a joke the only hood thing about Hamilton is the concierge because he is working on commission. Its a disgrace to the hotel industry in Morocco.

Nous avons réservé 3 chambres. une était déjà occupée, une pas nettoyé pas prête a recevoir des clients et la dernière a moitié faite, pas d oreillers pas serviettes de toilette. Restaurant buffet du soir sans interet. Du bruit dans les couloirs toutes la nuit. C'est pas très cher, mais même a ce prix la c'est trop chère.

Hôtel sale, il n’y a pas de wifi dans les chambres. L’hôtel ne prend pas la CB. Le restaurant fait très cantine et rudimentaire. La piscine est sale. Les couloirs de l’hôtel font peur et le ménage est très négligé (se doucher en claquette). Le seul point positif, le personnel est gentil.

We arrived in town we booked this hotel with a confirmation email. On arrival they bounced us immediately saying the hotel was full. They didn’t help at all saying we were not the only ones to suffer this issue. Spent an hour in the lobby finding another hotel room late at night after 9 hours on the road. As I left the lobby an hour later, my family were tired, I hadn’t found an alternative room, there was no apology and this hotel was still stating there were 5 rooms available on hotels.com for the night.

A notre arriver a 23h,l hote nous a refusé l accès à notre réservation sous pretexte que l hotel était complet, il voulais nous transferer dans un appart jusqu'au lendemain, et nous allons perdre une nuit d hotel avec piscine et le petit déjeuner inclus , sans aucun scrupule , faire 3000km avec 3 enfants de base age , et aucune ecxuse de l hotel ,j avais bien reserver a l avance et il etait encore disponible oour des nuits sur le site ! Heureusement que le site hotel.com nous à trouvé une solution , et relogés dignement ma famille et moi meme .je recommnde pas du tout .

Chambre mal nettoyée, il restait des détritus dans le frigidaire et sous les lits. Forte odeur nauséabonde dans la chambre. Humidité au plafond dans la salle de bain. Fenetre et équipements obsolètes. Et le final, isolation sonore nulle car c’est comme si on était dans la boîte de nuit d’à côté. Personnel pas accueillant. Pas de place de parking les soirs de week-end et pas de parking gratuit à proximité bien évidemment. Bref pire séjour dans un hôtel jusqu’à présent

The noise is a definitive minus for the property, I had only 1 towel, the balcony door didnt close, bathroom light over sink was out, actually had huge spider in webs on ceiling next to the balcony door, roach in bathroom. Some staffers gave friend greeting and others said nothing.

I stayed at Hamilton for 5 nights in February for my solo trip . I found the room to be comfortable,beds comfortable, nice size balcony terrace and clean. Only downside as no kettle or anything in the room to make a cup of tea. Saying that there was a lovely bar in the lobby which serves anything you may require. Downstairs pool area nice and relaxing, outside bar serves food which was lovely also… all Staff were friendly and helpful :) Close to beach, marina all walkable distance. Over all positive stay at the Hamilton hotel thank-you for a nice stay.

The noise from the surrounding nightclubs was terrible and when the music ended around 3 to 4 in the morning, the cars started honking like crazy because the road was congested because of the taxis coming after those from the club. Those people don't have a little patience, they honk in herd, and we woke up and actually couldn't fall asleep until they calmed down after almost an hour. And when they calmed down and I fell asleep, the noise from the hotel started. They were renovating the corridor, painting, cutting with the flex and so on. Also, the room door creaked terribly, both from my room and from my mother's room. Being with a 7-month-old child, I was afraid to open the door so as not to wake him up. I asked at the reception how long the renovations would take because my child was sleeping 2 times during the day, I was told one more day. I had patience, but after 4 sleepless nights, I asked for another room and they gave me another room where it was better. They should have closed the hotel, renovated it and then open it again. Another thing that bothered me is that I arrived at the hotel in the evening, and the guy at the reception didn't know how to calculate well, on the invoice it was clearly written that we had to pay a tax of £13.50 and in his calculations he made us pay £25. But I didn't do circus for a few coins because we were tired and had a 7-month-old baby in my arms. Cleanliness is at a low level.

When I checked in I did not like the room assigned to me it was facing an ugly wall., the stuff was rood specially one guy his name was Heshem he gave me a room at the 5th floor facing an outdoor nightclub the music was so load until 4Am then everybody went out and cars and drunk people notices again was unbearable until 5Am the i was so tired and slept until 10 am then woke up again by the Noice of the swimming pool music it was the worst night ever for me . I spoke to the manager his name was Mahdy then he moved to another room was better but last night i saw a big cockroach run from the bathroom and hide behind the bed i then decided to check out and whet to another hotel, it was waste of my money, health and time, my trip was really ruined , i do not recommand it at all.

The decoration of the property. The hotel needs to be renovated. The bedroom and bathroom are the worst part, they need to buy a new sink, tap, toilet, etc. To complete it, there were many dead flies on the balcony and there were cockroaches in my room.

My overall experience was mixed, property looks good outside, Reception area too looks great however the rooms are quite outdated and definitely does need a refresh - for instance the toilets in Room 410 has lots of stains from wear and tear and there’s no smoke detector in the room for safety purposes. Most of the staff I encountered were really nice and friendly however I was singled out by a rude concierge (an elderly man) one afternoon on my way back to the hotel who shouted ‘hey hey, are you staying here… I responded yes I am and he proceeded to ask me to tell him my room number until one of the Receptionists saw who checked my in saw me and then told him to cool it off’. Bear in mind that several others (white folks) were walking right in front of me but were never asked if they stayed there or not. I was definitely targeted because I’m black and that is downright disgusting. The security guards and the Reception staff were always very polite but the concierge guy who did that shouldn’t be in a front facing hospitality role or any other hospitality role for that matter.

The team at Hamilton were lovely and helpful. The hotel was clean but is a little rough around the edges and needs a little refurb to repair some of the wear and tear. Very good value for money. The location and breakfast were great. The pool is very cold in December. Our room was facing a very loud hotel complex so may not be a good option for people who find it difficult to get to sleep. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was huge. The safe didn’t work. Would stay again but that’s mainly due to affordability.

When we had paid for all day’s breakfast and did not use the breakfast few days we were refused refund. Please careful for your money with this hotel because staff is inexperienced and can charge you double money. I had to pay twice because if staff and then every day I had to be present to get my money back. Around the room it was very noisy environments. Despite complains no one listened. Change room request rejected as there wasn't any. I wrote to them about my late checkout and it's still in their system but they asked more money. We whole family have to stay in McDonald's nearby to pass of restof the time.

If this is a 4* hotel, I am an alien. The hotel is dated beyond belief and not in good condition. Furthermore, it's one of the worst nights sleep I can ever remember having in a hotel on this basis that it's surrounded by outdoor clubs. Highly recommend exploring the plethora of other options in Agadir.

dirty rooms and beds. my bedroom smelt like sewers and couldn't do anything about it, paid over $500 for 2 nights o triger my migraine, staff are useless, they are out of options, all they can do is apologizing (at least). chkn in took me 2 hrs, 4 agents behind the desk only one of them can check people in. swiming pool is super dirty, water hasn't been changed in months for sure. in general this hotel is a desaster, never again!!!

I don't recommended anyone else to stay I'm the hotel, where the breakfast was a joke, dishes were barely washed, the rooms had black mold, and the pool has barely any chlorine in it. Please stay away from this property as the management do not care about you, they only care about the money.

The location is good in terms of being close to the beach area. There are shops nearby for water, snacks and McDonald's is on the.opposite side. The hotel have put in a policy of no food/drink from outside, but they don't provide bottled water? Staff are friendly and always available at the front desk. Rooms are big size and the lounge area is really big. The breakfast is well worth getting the quality of food is good and it's a buffet system. Some days due to us using the room the cleaners were unable to clean at their time, but we did ask at reception if they could return (you'd see the cleaners working until 6/7pm). The front staff would agree to this but the room wouldn't be cleaned. If you're staying at the back of the hotel there is a lot of noise from outside (clubs and festivals always nearby). We booked some excursions from the hotel and we were let down for the boat trip. It seems like they didn't book it and said the boat was overbooked. Tried to rebook for another day but we had other plans but a full refund was given. Cheap and cheerful would go again but probably ask to be moved to another due to the noise.

I don't know why this hotel is so overpriced and why it has 3 stars. I would never stay here again, there are plenty of other hotels that are way better. First of all the breakfast; It was the worst breakfast I've ever have the displeasure of eating, the dishes and cups were wet and dirty, the juice wasn't fresh, tea was like it was made with sewage water, the scrambled egges were overcooked and tasted like rubber, the horrible low grade turkey sausage was barely cooked and it was cut into 2 halves, even the Moroccan pancakes were cut in 4 halves. Second of all the bedroom; Yes, the room appears to be newly redone, but unfortunately there was black mold on the walls and on the bathroom sink, the toilet paper was like sandpaper if sandpaper can immediately melt after touching water, the towels were ancient and had holes in them, and when the housekeeping come to get the towels they don't replace them immediately, but rather after 4 hours after they get washed, I asked why they said because they don't have enough towels and that the hotel can't afford new ones, like WHAT? Oh and the cherry on top, was that the air conditioner didn't have a remote, I inquired the reception about it and they said you'll have to give 20€ as a guarantee that you won't steal the remote, so basically they're calling the clients thieves, like what am I suppose to do with a remote? The only saving grace was the lovely staff working in the reception, from 8 am to 4pm, and then from 4pm to 12am.

Maybe it was great hotel in past, but now far from 4* they declare. Dirty bedding (covers or pillows were not washed out properly), towels with holes and not so secure feeling Too many details to mention, though staff definitely try their best in those conditions We didn't have meal so no opinion about food, but the rest "just ok" staying overnight for early flight Also bed seemed big, but definitely not sturdy. Thought will break the bed when fall into

Stuff non professionnel pas de shampoo dans la chambre et climatiseur non fonctionnel ( froid extrême) La fumer du cigarette dans 2 Ème étage cause de bar situé dans même étage. Conclusion: terrible nuit passé dans ce hôtel.

The reception area is gorgeous! Literally a wedding seating set. But the interior on the upper floors do not match this. The elevator is tiny and claustrophobic. The hallways are plain and old like a council flat. The bedroom is okay.

I was surprised for not having any bath products included except 2 very small cheap soap. No shampoo, No conditioner or body wash mini bottles. I thought it was just a mistake so I asked for and I was shocked when the hotel confirmed me that its just like that they don't provide rooms with any body product!! Also there was no coffee machine, boiling water or even just a glass to be able to drink water. Very low value for the price u pay. The only good thing was the staff very polite and helpful.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. As usual it was very clean, the location is great and everything in the room worked as it should. This particular room had a huge balcony that faced the sunset! My only complaint about this hotel is that every time I’ve stayed here housekeeping has barged in around 9-11am to collect the towels. Not only is it annoying to have an unannounced visitor open the door, but they never replace the towels they take, so I’m left scrambling for something to dry off with after my morning shower. Also, the WiFi is incredibly spotty. The first room was fine, but it got worse with each stay. By the third room I only had it on the balcony.

This is the best budget hotel I’ve stayed at since I’ve been in Africa. My room was spacious, clean and had a huge bathroom. It’s in a good area and it’s easy to catch a taxi just out front. My only complaint, and it’s a big one, is that they didn’t allow my travel partner (Male) to join. We’ve stayed in many hotels all around Morocco and ran into this problem in about 25% of them. The law is specific to Moroccans, however, the hotels can use their discretion in applying the moral standard as they’d like, and this hotel chooses to. For a married couple, same gender friends or a solo traveler I would highly recommend.

TLDR: nice views, decor, and location; good shower; unhelpful staff and bad hospitality; unclean and poorly-maintained room; bad Wi-Fi. The lobby staff were completely disinterested in our presence and the issues we had. We were overcharged for our room. The hotel has since been in touch following an earlier bad review to inform me that the reason behind this was city tax. Why this wasn't communicated when we paid, then a day later complained, and why the hotel is not including this in its listing fees, I don't know. It felt shady. Same with the breakfast that we didn't receive, despite showing the staff 2 confirmations (email and web) that our room came with a free breakfast buffet. I was told that my confirmations didn't match up with theirs (which showed "room only"), and there was nothing they could do.

The only saving grace for this hotel was the location. The rooms felt dirty, doors broken dust and insects everywhere, aircon didnt work. Hotel in dire need of redecoration, very dated. Reminds me of student accommodation. Pictures on the website not what we received.

The stay OK for a single, budget-conscious traveler like myself. The lady at the desk was helpful as she provided a map and directions around the city. The location in the city was good. Check-in was chaotic as the gentleman acted as if it was his first day though I'm pretty certain it was not. The room itself was quite loud. I am sure I heard every toilet in the hotel flush all night long. I had to ask for a towel and the bathroom floor was hairy. As a bonus, there was what looked like fecal material splattered on the wall next to the bidet. Breakfast was as boring as it gets. To make up for only a loaf of bread, some dry meat, butter, and a handful of olives, there was a decent coffee and juice selection. Again, budget friendly... just remember that, in this case, you definitely get what you don't pay for.
