We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of the Medina. The location is perfect — close to all the sights, yet peaceful and charming. Everything about the property is great. Firstly, the personnel is top notch. The property was well located but just outside the hustle and bustle of the main shopping area. The Rijad was very well kept and the service was excellent and they couldn’t do enough for us. The Free Hammam was a good benefit and having not had one before would highly recommend having a go.

Hidden away behind an impressive door is the calm oasis of Riad Dar Anika. We were made so welcome. The furnishing authentic and it really felt like you were staying in a grand person's home. Lovely touches like an evening snack and a bottle to warm the sheets just added to out seance if being well taken care of. Location is great for visiting the main attractions of Marrakesh and we would highly recommend this lovely Riad.

As a single woman traveling to Marrakech on business, I needed a location with good access both to the old city and to roads. 24 hour front desk service really helps with security. One taxi driver, concerned when he saw me I walking in the opposite direction of the Riad dar Anika when he dropped me off, called the reception to let them know. I was only going for a walk in the medina, but it was nice they looked after me. My room had its own private terrace, lit with candles and decorated with beautiful flowers when I arrived at night. The room was clean, the water was hot, the bed was comfortable, the location excellent and the price more than reasonable. I did not have much time for sightseeing, but whenever I had a spare hour, there was plenty to see nearby. While I did not dine in the restaurant and had only the most basic breakfast, I appreciated the freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade yogurt, and local pastries. I booked airport transfer with the riad, and they surprised me with a packed snack for the plane. Many thanks for a lovely visit.

Hot water our bed when returned from our evening meal to a welcoming drink and snacks after. long day walking through the Souks. Even a lunch bag provided on checking out for our journey to Agair. Our stay at Riad Dar Anika was fantastic. The staff were very thoughtful and attentive. The riad is conveniently located for all the sites and is not far from the main road making it convenient for taxi access too. The building is beautiful and well looked after. The room was small but had everything we needed. The riad is quiet and peaceful and we slept very well. Breakfast was very good and on the day we left they packed us a lunch for our long car journey.

The RIAD Anika was nice. They were very welcoming. I did have one moment of challenge when we were up in the restaurant. A man questioned me harshly about having a drink. Not sure why this happened but it was scary and in a foreign country and as a Black woman. That was the only sad incident. The staff of the Anika were great and the room was nice.

Amazing Stay at the Riad Dar Anika We stayed for 4nights at Riad Dar Anika and really loved the warmth and hospitality of the team. Everybody was so friendly and really went out of their way to make sure we had the best time in Marrakech.We had a trip booked to the Atlas Mountains where we met Hassan our guide Your hospitality and personality made the Atlas Mountains experience unforgettable. The walk, and meeting your family and the delicious lunch, and stunning views really made it a special day we also recommend the Balloon flight which was also amazing I can't thank everyone enough for making our first trip to marrakech amazing

I can’t tell you enough about this Riad. I read a lot of the reviews before I booked it. The staff made you feel right at home. We had never been to Morocco before and didn’t know what to expect. The Riad is perfect to shut you out from the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. The rooms were great!! The living room to hang out was relaxing. The pool is enough to hang out in. I would definitely book this place again. We we’re actually sad To leave. This place has a great rating for a reason! And there dinner was fantastic

Wonderful traditional Riad, very clean and a great location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, it felt like they couldn’t do enough for you. The staff will recommend places to eat and make your reservations for you. I’d highly recommend the excursion into the Atlas Mountains which the staff book for you. Our guide Hassan was also friendly and knowledgeable and made the day more enjoyable. I’d also recommend getting a Hammam in the Riad. The only negative is the Riad is quite noisy at night, but I think that is the nature of all Riad’s so I don’t hold that against Dar Anika. Can’t rate this Riad highly enough!!

I have traveled quite extensively over the last 10 years and I have never experienced a Riad. I would highly recommend Riad Dar Anika, the location is perfect, within walking distance of most of the tourist sites and taxi access is very easy as they are all parked just outside the Riad. The Riad itself is absolutely perfect, very well maintained and the staff are all super friendly, we were also given a short brief by the Riad manager and he explained everything tourists should know about Marrakesh such as how to navigate around the area, sites to see, how best to negotiate when haggling and everyone haggles in the markets. I honestly cannot recommend Riad Dar Anika enough these guys were absolutely brilliant, thank you🙏

I can't say enough nice things about my stay here. The place was amazing and right at the edge of the Medina. The staff were top notch and breakfast is cooked for each person as you arrive. An oasis of calm amongst the bustle of Marrakech. The location is excellent -- it is an easy walk to the main square of the Medina - Jemaa el Fna - along a busy narrow shopping street -- takes 10-15mins (or longer if you start shopping and bartering - our opening bid was usually about 20% of the seller's opening price!) The main Souks are then on the opposite side of the square (very easy to get lost in there - but good fun and we felt very very safe). The Riad is also close to Bahia Palace -- well worth a visit. The Riad is beautifully decorated and furnished. Our room was very comfortable and we received excellent service from every single member of staff that we saw. Breakfast was very nice and more than enough was served to take you through the day. The Riad does serve evening meal/dinner - but there are some very nice good value restaurants close by to explore as well The staff will happily arrange walking tours of the city for you at reasonable price and other excursions as you choose. On-site Hammam is well worth it! There is a sun terrace on the roof with beds and a Jacuzzi/hot tub. There is also a small pool in the courtyard area which is at a comfortable temperature to relax in - particularly after a Hammam or massage. . Would we return --- yes definitely! Peter and Jane

Amazing. Simply amazing. Once you book with them you do not need to do anything by yourself. Javad and Mohamed are like Aladin’s genie. All you have to do is express your wish and want and it’s taken care of. We got the nicest cab, the lovliest driver, the best guide for the Medina tour, the finest excursions and house keeping people. Just lovely people. They figurec out that we were going for a six hour trsin ride, wenever specifically mentioned it and as we were leaving Javad hands me a cute shoulder bag. Once in the train I look inside and it has two sandwiches, two apples, two pears, two small bottles of water and an unsaid feeling that someone cared. They came so handy. On top of that, the egg snd eggplant sandwiches were one of the best we have ever tasted. It might sound like a forced exaggeration but trust me if you could. The dinner in their courtyard had the best dishes in all of Morocco. If you stay here, please treat yourself to a dinner. If you you don't love it, the bottle of Medailan wine is on me. 😄

Special mention to Jawid at reception who booked excursions for us and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable and the Riad was beautiful. We dined two nights at the riad and the food was delicious.

Taxi dropped us off and only had to walk about 60 feet to the door. Tip- if traveling from the train station the will try to jam you for 100 md, you should be able to get it for 50.

Very nice property located in a perfect spot to visit the medina but close to the end so that you can reach it easily by taxi. It is very close to Palace de Bahia. The breakfast was amazing and We also had lunch in a sister property close by on the terrace and it was delicious. The room was large and comfy. I really appreciated the kindness and politeness of all the staff, they really made our stay special! They were so patient with our kids.

This is a beautiful riad with outstanding service. The people here were meeting needs we didn't even know we had. And they were all so pleasant about it. I had just landed 4.5 hours before the earthquake happened. Check-in was easy and everyone was super friendly. I was greeted with tea and dates. The concierge provided a map and explained all the interesting sightseeing locations. He also helped making my hammam and salon appointments and recommended a ton of nice restaurants upon me asking. I was escorted to a nearby rooftop restaurant and 2 hours later the earthquake hit. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and kind to all of us. I also received a voucher for one night to use in the future as I decided to leave that same morning after the earthquake hit. I did so because I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the rest of my stay while knowing people were affected and so many lives were lost. I will definitely return to this Riad on my next trip because Morocco is still on my list of countries to visit.

Stepping through the door of this Riad transports you from the bustle of the streets to a peaceful oasis. We booked the airport transport through the hotel which was so easy, and arrived at the road super early. We were greeted w welcome drinks and a delicious breakfast, and to our surprise the room was ready for us. The staff were so nice, the dinner on the roof was delish (try the vegetable tagine). Unfortunately we had an emergency at home and needed to leave a day early. The staff packed us a bag for our journey with water, fruit, sandwiches and Moroccan soap. We couldn’t have felt more cared for.

Our Riad (Dar Anika) was fantastic. In the crazy, hustle/bustle of Marrakech, this hidden gem is an oasis in the chaos. The staff, the facility, the food, the comfort and careful attention to guest happiness.... incredible. Seriously incredible. My wife when doing this kind of travel re-rank our favorite trips... this trip made it to the top of the list, mostly influenced by the experience at Riad Dar Anika.

The Riad provides the perfect balance - a clean, quiet, tranquil oasis mere steps from the entry gate to the souk. Exceptional service at all levels. Pleasant, attractive dining area for breakfast. Highly recommended.
