Gute Lage, halbwegs sauber, Kameraüberwachung auf den Gängen
Cons: Extrem kalt im Zimmer, Extremer Lärm in der Nacht wegen schlechtem Fenster, man kann leider kaum schlafen, personal ist normal aber auch nicht wirklich freundlich. Ich denke für 60€ für 3 Nächte kann man sich als Europäer dennoch nicht zu sehr beschweren. Für Einheimische wäre es wohl eine Katastrophe.

Расположение просто шикарное! Все исторические достопримечательности рядом. Вид из окна и террасы потрясающий. Есть балконы и терраса, где можно позавтракать или поужинать. Персонал помогал по возникающим вопросам, за что большое спасибо.
Cons: Из-за того, что окна выходят на оживленную улицу - шумновато. Тащить чемоданы на 3 и 4 этаж очень тяжело. Хотелось бы иметь в номерах кружки.

L'emplacement dans la médina. Propre. L'hôtel est conforme à la description, mais est très étroit. La terrasse est très sympa mais le mobilier pas très confortable. En conclusion, l'établissement fait le job pour une nuit (nous étions en escale avant de prendre notre avion le lendemain), mais pour séjourner dans Tanger plusieurs jours, ça n'est peut-être pas la meilleure option niveau confort. En même temps le rapport qualité prix est correct.

L'hôtel est placé au cœur de la Médina donc, idéalement (avec le bruit et la vie que cela comporte) à 50m de la mosquée, l'appel à la prière est un gros reveil matin ! 😅 La plupart des commodités sont proches (restaurants, cafés, zone de passage des taxis) Le personnel est plutôt sympathique et réactif (à mon arrivée il manquait dans ma chambre serviettes et PQ, je l'ai signalé et ils ont réagi rapidement) Petite chambre avec Jolie vue sur la Médina avec terrasse privative en chambre 14. La petite taille de la chambre ne me gêne pas car le but n'était pas pour moi de lézarder à l'hôtel ! 😉
Cons: Chambre 14 Connexion Wi-Fi très aléatoire. Salle de bain assez vétuste avec une forte odeur de canalisations quasi insoutenable. Mais j'ai signalé le problème à mon depart et je ne doute pas qu'ils feront le nécessaire ! 😉 Attention aussi : prise défectueuse (risque d'électrocution à côté du lit)

Cons: I had such a terrible time at this hotel. The toilet was stinky( couldn't breathe inside it). No cold water in the toilet (only extremely hot water which is insane). The person at the reception was not taking our claims seriously, we came for leisure not to wait for the plumber to come fix the water issue in the toilet, in addition to that he said : " if you didn't pay online I would have given your money and you can leave if you don't like it". How irresponsible and unprofessional, so basically I traveled for hours and spent so much money, giving me this solution as it's easy to change from a hotel to another during the summer which is a peak period. Not to mention that the room was not ready and had to wait outside for a while even we came hours after the indicated time for the check-in. All in all, I truly don't recommend you this hotel especially if you're taking the room with the balcony in the 4th floor as we did. We had such a terrible time there and we hated it.

Muy buena ubicación. Al llegar al hotel te ofrecen una taza del tradicional té marroquí. Me alojé en una habitación en la que había ducha y lavabo, y el resto del baño estaba en un pasillo apenas fuera de la habitación, tal cual como se describía en el perfil del alojamiento. Las fotos reflejan perfectamente el lugar.
Cons: Por decir algo, la ventana de mi habitación daba a un patio interno en el que hay un restaurante donde justo esa noche había un show musical, por lo que fue difícil dormir hasta que todo terminó alrededor de la 1 AM. Obviamente no es responsabilidad del alojamiento, y además todos sabemos que si te alojas en un lugar céntrico, estas cosas pueden suceder.

Its a bit tired looking but you cannot expect anything else for the budget price. Everything else was pleasing from the room Lady who cleaned to a really good standard and the 3 different guys on reception who were always helpful and friendly and dealt with any problem straight away, especially Abdullah. Location is great, close to everything and in the heart of the Petite Soco and plenty of nice restuarants to choose from, particularly the one next to the hotel. I really enjoyed the week I spent there and I will definitely be going back to Hotel Maram. Tangier is beautifully clean and you will be hard put to find any litter anyway and for me the best city in Morocco it offers everything.

Location is amazing, near the busy Petit Socco. But have in mind that if you have a light sleep, you won't be able to rest anything. At all. Transfer service is available for a fixed price, the driver is great! It is essentially a low-cost stay... I would stay again, but with lower expectations.
Cons: Unfortunately the hotel could be greatly improved with just some minor upgrades. First of all, on booking.com there is the info that breakfast is available on the hotel for a certain price, but that breakfast does not exist at all and never did. Everything had to be asked at the reception, even a toilet paper roll. There was no room cleaning during our 4-day stay, or towel replacement. The bathroom was somewhat claustrophobic, and during some periods of the day there was essentially no water in the sink or shower, so we had to wait to bath or flush. A fan could definitely help during summer...

Daytime only hot! water, impossible to shower. You have to wait until nighttime, when hot water becomes warm, as there is no cold water to mix with. They promised to do something but did nothing. No hairdryer. Only 1 towel for 3 days. Rubbish in the bedside drawer - that's how they clean their rooms. Half-broken powerpoint on the wall. 2)TV didn't work, they promised to fix it next day but they never did it. Just a promise. No A/C, not even portable fan. So-so WiFi. Long walk to the last floor. 3-star hotel? It makes me laugh 😂.

Está en el centro del casco urbano, tienes todo a mano, zoco, tiendas, restaurantes ect…se puede visitar casi todo a pie, la habitación muy limpia.
Cons: Las instalaciones un poco viejas podían ponerlo más bonito y que no se notara que era un poco viejo todo, había olores en la ducha del alcantarillado.

Cons: El personal fue bastante borde con todos nosotros, intentaron timarnos en varias ocasiones para que pagasemos más dinero del que debíamos y además no nos avisaron de que todo eso debía ser en efectivo. Por otro lado, el agua se cortó durante una tarde entera y no podíamos utilizar los baños que ya de por sí olían bastante mal por las tuberías. Además las habitaciones estaban llenas de hormigas y un poco sucias. Además nos robaron bastantes cosas de la nevera de abajo, dijeron que mirarían las cámaras y no nos hicieron ni caso, se pensaban que por ser más jóvenes éramos inútiles.

The one redeeming factor is the location. It’s right in the Medina and walkable to most attractions, but that alone doesn’t make up for the lack of basic amenities and safety issues. Would not recommend unless improvements are made.
Cons: We had a very frustrating experience here. To start, the staff lost our keys, so we had to return two hours later just to check in. The first room had no light, no fan, and no air conditioning. We had paid for a balcony, but it was under construction with workers actively present. After requesting a new room, we found dirty towels waiting for us. The walls were extremely thin, making it hard to sleep. The water was only boiling hot, the shower nozzle didn’t work, and we had to wash using a bucket with the hot water during the extreme hot weather. Even the bathroom in the lobby didn’t have a sink. There was a TV but no channels, and the WiFi router was literally hanging off the wall with exposed wires. To top it off, we were locked in from the inside and couldn’t get out at 7:30 in the morning. No coffee or tea was offered either.

It was an amazing experience to sleep in this Hotel. The staff was extremely frendly and welcoming. There was also a young woman at the reception I talked with every day, which speeks german as well as english and a variety of other languages. Perfect experience.

Todo! Esta en la misma calle de las tiendas LE PETIT ZOCCO (Zoco pequeño), Al lado de cafe central, y a 1km caminando del puerto Tánger ville... Los recepcionistas Excepcionales de 10! No había baño dentro pero si aseo con ducha,y tienen guardametas que lo podeis dejar sin problema,es un cuartito pequeño que se ve desde la recepción,ay podéis dejar bolsas y maletas,y justo abajo hay una tienda tipo comestible que tiene de todo... Y aunque no hablan español nos comunicamos genial por traductor movil(en la tienda de abajo puedes comprar una tarjeta sms y el chico t la instala super apañado).. y por ultimo para cambiar dinero,al llegar al puerto ay bancos en la mañana hasta 14h desp no puedes volver a cambiar para regresar a España porque de tarde esta cerrado....

La ubicación es sencillamente perfecta. No puede estar mejor situado. Está en la calle principal de la medina y a dos pasos de cualquier cosa que queramos ver. El personal es maravillosamente amable y el lugar te hace sentir como en casa. Es importante ser consciente de que estaremos en el centro de una medina musulmana, eso implica ruidos por la noche, tanto de gente en la calle como de las llamadas a la oración desde la mezquita. Esto forma parte del viaje y es recomendable llevar tapones para dormir sin interrupciones. Mi balance del Hotel Maram es extraordinario: 11 sobre 10.

L'emplacement au coeur du petit Sokko est idéale, l'établissement est joli et très propre, la terrasse en haut vraiment agréable et le personnel est très gentil.
Cons: Si vous craignez le bruit, évitez de venir en plein coeur de ce quartier, surtout en période de ramadan avec le muezzin à 5 heures du matin car la mosquée est juste à côté. Par ailleurs, dans un WC nous avons signalé qu'il n'y avait pas de poubelle pour jeter le papier toilette mais ça n'a pas été ajouté donc si on veut que les clients ne jettent pas le PQ dans la cuvette, il faut bien faire quelque chose !!!

El personal muy atento, nos guardaron las maletas el día que llegamos a Tánger para coger un avión a Marrakech sin aceptar pago o propina. Ese día no estábamos alojados pero al comprobar nuestra reserva para una semana después nos guardaron el equipaje y pudimos disfrutar de una tarde y cena en la ciudad

Cons: El personal no habla nada español ni se esfuerza, solo inglés o francés. El chico nada dispuesto a ayudar en cuanto a imprimir los billetes de embarque para la vuelta (obligatorio) y el pago con tarjeta parece que les sienta mal. La limpieza de la habitación pasable pero la del baño pésima, no lo tocaron en 3 días ni cambio de toallas. Mucho ruido por la noche de la gente por la calle y a las 5 y 6 de la mañana un altavoz de la medina con el rezo.

Super zentral, direkt am Petit Socco, wo das Leben spielt. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ideal für einen kurzen Stadtaufenthalt, bei dem man mehr draußen als drinnen ist. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren stets sauber. Von der gemeinschaftlichen Dachterrasse hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Treiben unten und das Minarett der Großen Moschee.
Cons: Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr klein, es gibt kaum Stauraum. Man sollte bedenken, dass man quasi direkt neben der Großen Moschee wohnt und frühmorgens der Muezzin zum Gebet ruft - als stünde er direkt neben einem. Selbst mit Ohropax ist man direkt wach. Wir fanden es allerdings authentisch und Teil der Marokko-Erfahrung.

The hotel was in a good, central location. Shared bathrooms were generally clean - they were cleaned every morning. Good price for what is on offer in Tangier in terms of accommodation. Staff were very helpful with questions and requests.
Cons: There is literally NO soundproofing at the hotel and you can hear people walking, talking, coughing, blowing noises, opening and closing doors in the hotel. We were disturbed both in the morning and at night by noise coming from other guests. The room was really cold in January and didn't have any heating.

O hotel não poderia estar mais próximo do centro histórico da cidade de Tanger — situado na rua principal e a dois passos da Grande Mesquita. Nunca tinha visto um estabelecimento a ser limpo e higienizado com tanta frequência, o que comprovou a preocupação do hotel com o bem estar dos hóspedes. Deixo ainda uma palavra de agradecimento à jovem da receção, que no momento do check out foi muito prestável e atenciosa, ao disponibilizar-se prontamente para imprimir os nossos cartões de embarque sempre com um bonito sorriso no rosto. O Hotel Maram será claramente a minha escolha num eventual regresso a esta antiga praça portuguesa.
Cons: Por se situar a poucos metros da Mesquita, os chamamentos para os fiéis eram constantemente ouvidos tanto de dia, como de noite. No entanto, não vejo isso como algo negativo, mas sim como uma experiência muito gratificante nestes dias de regresso a Marrocos. Sugiro também que seja adicionada pelo menos mais uma tomada no quarto, uma vez que precisei de desligar a televisão para poder carregar o meu telemóvel.

Cons: Initially We had a room with shower, however it was not possible to stay in the room as noise from the street was inside the room, walls and windows were supper thin that I could hear everything from the street even a guy from next hotel room was swiping his instagram page and I could hear his phone,When I asked for a quite room the girl in the reception gave us quite room, it was ok however again walls were too thin and I could hear noise of toilette from upstairs as guests Were using toilette in the morning :( overall anyone wants to stay in this hotel should be resistance to the noise or bring their noise blocker.Also toilettes weren’t that clean as guests were not using them clean. There are no soaps or towels to wash and dry hands after toilette, zero hygiene.

The room was a good size and sheets clean and comfortable. Toilet was separate but clean. Really cheap for a clean, central room.
Cons: Room smelt of bleach and as I have a bad chest, it irritated. TV was broken and reception kindly came twice but couldn't fix. Gave up. Q noisy over street and no kettle as described, .best to not offer things like flat screen and kettle if not given.

The location was perfect! Right next to the Petit Socco. Rooms were lovely, small but comfy beds. Shared bathrooms but we were lucky to have a shower and sink on our room. Lovely view of the street outside. Comfortable beds. Nice terrace. Spotlessly clean.

Je mets 3/10 à cet hôtel pour les raisons suivantes : 1 point pour la localisation, l'hôtel se situe en plein milieu de la medina et permet de faire l'ensemble de la vieille ville, voire de la ville à pied. 1 point pour le personnel, la dame à l'accueil qui nous a reçu était très sympathique. 1 point pour le prix, à environ 25 euros la nuit pour deux personnes, c'est clairement l'un des hôtels les moins chers de Tanger.
Cons: Maintenant ce qui ne va pas. Si vous cherchez un hôtel pas cher, juste pour dormir et que le confort vous ait secondaire, foncez, cet hôtel est fait pour vous. En revanche, si après de longues journées de visite, vous souhaitez vous reposer, ce n'est pas le lieu. Les chambres sont petites et austères, les toilettes se trouvent sur le palier (c'est indiqué quand vous prenez la chambre mais toujours bon à rappeler), la douche fonctionne à peine et les serviettes propres sont tachées et trouées. D'autre part, le wifi fonctionne très mal. Le plus gros point négatif, c'est le bruit. L'hôtel est très mal isolé, et les chambres donnant sur la rue.. de la Mosquée sont extrêmement bruyantes. Vous pourrez compter le nombre de scooter qui passent dans la nuit. Les appels à la prière vous rappeleront une scène marquante du film OSS 117. De plus, les chaises et les tables déplacées sur la terrasse à 2h du matin vous rappellerons ces voisins du dessus que vous détestez. Je n'ai pas détesté mon séjour car le prix était dérisoire, il faut l'admettre, et je passais toutbmon temps à lexterieur, donc si votre budget est restreint cet hôtel est fait pour vous, sinon passes votre chemin.

El personal de primera sobre todo la chica de la recepción que fue súper amable en todo momento. De las excursiones que contratamos lo mejor el chófer Omar una persona excepcional atento educado simpático dentro de su poco habla española que tenía pudimos comunicarnos perfectamente con él un servicio inmejorable y un profesional de primera. Por lo demás la ubicación es excepcional puedes ir caminando a todos los sitios interesantes de la ciudad.
Cons: No me gustó que tuvimos que reclamar que nos limpiaran la habitación a los dos días porque nos dijeron que eso se efectuaba a la salida del huésped y nosotros íbamos a estar cinco días y no me pareció correcto tanto tiempo sin limpiar habitación ni baños.

Nos gusto que las camas eran cómodas y que el balcón es amplio. La ubicación es excelente. En el centro de la Medina, cerca de transporte publico, el bus turístico, playa, tiendas y restaurantes.
Cons: La habitación es pequeña, igual que el baño. También olía muy mal (a cañería) todo el tiempo en el wc, la alcachofa de la ducha no funcionaba bien. Solo había un interruptor en la habitación y no estaba bien ajustado y se salía. La TV no funcionaba. No había aire acondicionado ni ventilador, nos tocó comprar uno porque en la noche hacía mucho calor y no podíamos dormir. No hay ascensor.

L'emplacement en plein centre ville de Tanger au cœur de l'ancienne medina. Tout est à proximité Restaurant café... boutique... mosquée... transport. Je suis très satisfaite ... rapport qualité prix excellent... hôtel très propre... Le personnel très sympathique. Je conseille cette hôtel... Maram. Absolument aucun regret !

Staff were nice and welcoming. Overall, it's a clean place.
Cons: The check-in was later than mentioned, we had to wait for an extra 45min to get to our room. It was a bit noisy at night if you're a light sleeper. Towels cleaniness is to be reconsidered. Help with taking luggage upstairs would have been appreciated.

In the very heart of the Petit zoco. Bit noisy but authentic. 10 minutes walk to the ferry station. Very comfortable beds. Terrace to take food bought a couple of meters away. WC outside the room. Shower inside. Very cheap.

Una ubicación muy céntrica y confortable para turistear. Justo debajo del hotel, hay un restaurante llamado "Bar central", y es lo mejor que hay en todo Tanger.

Excelente escolha a nivél económico para passar 2 noites. A localização é bastante central assim dá para aproveitar ao máximo a experiência cultural de Tanger.
Cons: Fica mesmo perto de uma mesquita e de madrugada acordamos com os costumes da religião.

Cons: Le bruit, nous avons passés 2 nuits dans cet hôtel (à l'arrivée et au départ de nos vacances). Suite a une premiere nuit de nuit blanche j'ai demandé à la réception de bien vouloir annuler la réservation suivante car nous étions epuisés. Cela nous a été refusé. Et, sans chercher de solution , on m'a juste répondu que c'etait normal car j'étais dans la vieille ville et que c'était comme cela ... Le bruit et le passage des gens est non stop jusqu'à 4h du matin. Vous aurez un peu de répis jusqu'a 9h. De plus il faut choisir entre étouffer de chaleur dans la chambre en fermant la fenêtre pour atténuer (un peu) le bruit. Ou laisser la fenêtre ouverte (avoir trop chaud quand même) mais avoir trop de bruit. C'est le serpent qui se mord la queue. Les changements de tarification se taxe de séjour (4€ a l'arrivée et 2€ au retour car graruit pr les enfants? )et de taxi d'un réceptionniste à l'autre. Taxi à 20€ à 6h30, puis nous 25€ finalement car c est tarif de nuit. Et vu que nous n'avons pas dormi , même pas de geste pro. Donc si vous voulez un hôtel juste pour poser vos valises et aller faire la fête ensuite cet hôtel est pour vous. Mais pas pour une famille avec enfants. Pour sûr quand nous reviendrons, nous éviterons Tanger en général.
