Posizione perfetta in medina.

Very nice staff, did all the best to make us feel welcome
Cons: Location is at the edge of Medina but⊠Honestly very scary area. We got scammed at parking lot for the first time. Besides there are lot of young men trying to âguideâ you through the medina and firstly tell you âwe just want a thank youâ. We had one situation, where one guy guiding us was caught by local police and another guy took over. We gave him 20 DRH as a tip and he was like âcome on, that is shit - my brother got caught and we need to pay for himâ. Furthermore, you are very close to the tannery. Locationwise cool, but a lot of scam and bad smell also. Nothing very bad to tell about the simple Riad, the people there were welcoming but all the rest was not as good as expected.

Size of the suite, nice pool. The doors and terrasse are magnificent. Nice view of the city on the terrasse. But...
Cons: The worst thing is the area. Mice , bad odors from the tanneries and the alley is smelly and dirty to get to the riad. No ac in the suite even after they tried to fix it ( look at other site reviews!) The staff didn't do anything helpfull other than tiktok and pray! Breakfast was ok but way too late ( 9h)!

The staff were so incredibly lovely and helped us find our way to the hotel and book taxis to the airport. The superior room has an enormous living space and feels super large and welcoming. The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to sit and relax with great views.
Cons: Could do with some maintenance in the room e.g no lock on bathroom door. The stairs are also fairly steep and narrow. The smell from the tannery comes and goes during your stay - but mostly the smell is not there. Finally we found it slightly hard to find but once we called the owner it was not a problem.

I had a wonderful stay at this riad. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, as is the entire staff. He takes the time to explain the city in detail, offers great recommendations, and is always available to help with anything you might need â it really makes a difference when you're discovering a new place. The rooms and the whole structure are beautifully traditional, full of charm and character. One of the highlights is definitely the terrace, with a stunning view over the tannery and the city â a truly unique experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic and warm stay!

Our room was spacious, clean, traditional and beautiful. Windows overlooking the garden below. Amazing staff, Ahmed gave us all the information we needed about the medina, its attractions and advice on navigating around! I was quite nervous at first about the Medina, but Ahmed gave us his number and reassured us that he would direct us or come and find us if we got lost! A truly lovely man! The riad is quite hard to find, and Google Maps doesn't work, so you just have to look for signs to direct you and follow them!
Cons: You are so close to the tanneries... one of Fes el Bali's main attractions, and you can even watch it from the roof terrace! That does unfortunately mean you can also smell it in the riad (like all others in the area I assume) which is far from pleasant. That said, it is no fault of riad we stayed in and you get accustomed quickly to it.

I had to wait a bit at the entrance but the hotel staff did their best to make up for it. The Riad is good in terms of vehicle access within the Medina. Although it seems difficult to find at first, it is easily reached if you follow the sign. The Riad terrace and garden are really nice. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I am sure you will have a nice time in the Riad opposite the Tannery, the most famous place in Fez. Only the breakfast could be improved. It would be nice if there was cheese, tomatoes, etc.

Abdul the gentleman at the receiptionist was so professional and kind, arranged for me a cab at 05H00 for 100DH, answered all my other questions. Thank you Abdul. The path from the parking area to the Riad was well lit even at night, it went through houses that locals actually lived in. I generally felt safe though I see that some other reviews say that it was rather unnerving. It my opinion, it provides a more authentic experience. It's a short walk from the tanneries and I didn't detect any smell. And there was a wonderful rooftop view both in the day and night.
Cons: Breakfast was rather limited, and restricted to hours between 09H00 and 10H30.

The riad is on a good location close to the main sights in Fez and has a really beautiful common area with a little garden, a pool and nice seating. Our host, Ahmed, was very helpful, gave us a lot of useful information upon arrival and offered his help throughout our whole stay. The breakfast we got on our first day was really good.
Cons: No idea how the other rooms were, but ours felt very damp - there was a strange mouldy smell in it and once we used the towels for the first time they wouldnât dry. The shower holder wasnât fixed in the wall and was hanging loosely, the bathtub wasnât clean. Also, we were promised a little breakfast package since we were leaving early (at 8 AM, and the breakfast doesnât start before 9 AM) but unfortunately, they forgot about us.

I had a wonderful stay at R'Mila Medina Fez! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the riad itself was beautiful and full of character. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rooftop terrace offered amazing views of the medina. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Fez!
Cons: The riad itself is beautiful, with a lot of charm and friendly, welcoming staff. However, the location in the medina was not ideal for us, as the surrounding area could feel a bit unclean and less inviting to walk through. While the riad offers a wonderful experience inside, the neighborhood doesnât fully match the high standards of the accommodation. This riad is an amazing place to stay! The room is comfortable, spacious, clean and has a real Moroccan vibe. The garden, diner area en rooftop are amazing too. Itâs a real peaceful place in the chaotic Medina. The location is good, you can walk into the Medina quit easy and a good pick-up point is nearby (the parking space behind the biggest tannery). The breakfast and dinner are super delicious! We want to thank our hosts Zakaria and Abdeslama for making our stay in this riad even more incredible!
Cons: The bath in the room canât be used because thereâs not enough hot water to fill it up. For all the females travelling by themselves, the road to the riad is quit dark and may feel unsafe (probably the hotst will help you to come to the riad if you wish). Also, because the riad is close to the biggest tannery, it sometimes smells a bit (get yourself some fresh mint to walk to the riad).

Itâs very central, youâre in the middle of the medina in no time. A parking lot is close where you can leave your car or where you can be picked up for tours Staff were very polite and tried to help with providing information.
Cons: The room was a little dark, and unfortunately the pool wasnât usable while we were there. Also while it is within the medina, itâs in a less touristy area with a lot of dirt in the streets. And close to the tannery, the smell can be intense. But if you keep the windows closed it doesnât get into the room If youâre offered tours with guides, make sure to always also check providers like get your guide to make sure you get the best offer.

The building was very pretty and the bathroom was clean. Free breakfast was okay but went quick as when we came late one day it was almost all gone and not replenished. There is a terrace at the top which had a nice view. The cleaning lady very kindly washed our clothes for a cheaper price than a shop wouldâve done. We were offered a drink on check in.
Cons: The air con unit in our room was broken. This wasnât mentioned to us until we asked about it but they were aware, this was a massive factor on us choosing to book this room - when we stayed and it was 38/39 degrees which made it incredibly hot and uncomfortable to sleep. It didnât seem like a high enough level of care was offered when the room was not as listed. We also werenât given standard information such as breakfast times or anything about Fes and had to seek all this out. The property is quite difficult to find down a lot of alleys and my girlfriend said she would not have felt safe reaching it if travelling alone.

The property was super cute, just inside the Medina. The breakfast was simple and delicious. On my last day in Fez, I forgot my glasses at the Riad. Hamza made sure to send them back to me in Italy and it took less than one week!! I canât thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness â€ïž

Nice Riad near the tannery of FĂšs with a beautiful patio, pool and a lovely rooftop terrace. We also enjoyed the breakfast. All for an amazing price.
Cons: Unfortunately our room was quite dark and the bathroom especially the shower was not very inviting. Atmosphere created by the personnel polite but not very welcoming.

Mr Hamza the host is really one of a kind. Always helpful and the hospitality is great. We really felt very welcome. The rooms are also fine. Well dimensioned and clean. Baths are not the newest but very clean and everything is working very well. Breakfast buffet is nice and has everything one needs. They would even accommodate any extra wishes. He arranged for us a German speaking tour guide Mr Abdul who did a great tour through the Oldtown of Fez. Was a great stay. 10/10 can only recommend.
Cons: Bathroom in R1 could use a shelf for the toothbrush etc.

The property itself is very pretty and the pools makes such a difference when itâs hot. The owners were friendly and nice.
Cons: you can go solo, no problem. just make sure to take notes in your map and memoriza the way, itâs not that hard if thatâs easy for you. if not you have hire a guide but I recommend the solo experience.

Breakfast was buffet style and had all the standards you would expect from a breakfast in Morocco: different breads, omelette (made to order), jams, cheese, tea and coffee. The room was beautiful and really big, especially for the price! It had a separate bedroom and living room and large bathroom. Lovely view from the room towards the tanneries, which wasnât expected and wasnât clear from the description or photos. Great bonus! The roof terrace also provided great views onto the old medina and surrounding mountains including the tanneries. We only stayed one night but I can easily see myself staying here longer. Great location to reach all main attractions in old medina on foot. Parking is very close to the road.
Cons: Location wise at first a little confusing to find (google maps shows some streets that seem to have been blocked off), but once we arrived we found our way around quickly. The lock to the room should be improved. It was hard to close/open the room. There also seemed to have been a leak somewhere in the building which affected our water supply at times. The roof terrace could do with some more comfortable seating to be able to enjoy it more.

Cons: There were not enough light from the lamp in the room. In the bathroom there were coming cockroache in all sizes from the drain, and the walls were faling apart. The staff told that we could be moved to an other room maybe even at an other hotel, but the day after they didnt manage to find anything so we had to have a night more with the possibility of more creepy insects.

Râmila was by far our favourite accommodation during our entire trip to Morocco and exceeded all of our expectations. The hosts are lovely, went above and beyond to help us what made us feel like at home. They were always there to answer any of our questions. The riad itself is also a stunning place to stay in, itâs very clean and comfortable. We would recommend Râmila to anyone looking for a home-like stay in Fes, 11/10!
Cons: finding the riad was a bit tricky at first, but with the help from the host we arrived without issues and once you know where it is itâs easy to navigate.

One of the best hotels I have been. The location is amazing it is inside the old medina and you feel the whole experience as a local. The rooms are very clean, nice and traditionally decorated. The garden of the riad is amazing. The personnel is so kind and the hospitality you feel is great. Just be careful: Before arriving make a call to the receptionist to pick you up, because we had troubles with some scammers trying to take us at the hotel in an indirect way in order to take money from us.

Beautiful Stay! staff were exceptional especially Muhammad! from the moment we were picked up from our taxi to being dropped back off at the taxi, they wanted to help us every way possible! loved the fresh fruit on arrival and at breakfast! Tea was offered on arrival and in evening with biscuits which was a nice touch! We used the room with sharing bathroom which was perfect! the sharing bathroom was always very clean. great location for the tannery. Walking distance of about 20/30mins from blue gate weâre we spent most of our time. quite a hill up to gate so make sure this is noted for accessibility. only downside was that since we were abit of a walk home, we were abit on edge the first night as we didnât know our way round the narrow streets in the dark. I would recommend that you figure out your way during the day first to be safe! great stay overall

Beautiful and peaceful Riad with a lovely garden and a small pool (too cold when we were there to use it!). Lovely big room with an amazing sunken bath. really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fine but repetitive - we canât work out why the breakfasts in Morocco donât use local tasty bead (but use French sticks) and donât provide any fruit - itâs so cheap in the markets.
Cons: The Riad is really difficult to find - donât rely on google maps - just pay a local to show you. It is in the Medina but a fair way from the main area and it is so easy to get lost. There are very few local amenities apart from loads of men only bars. Our room had a real problem with light coming in from the poolside lights and then from the daylight - there was no covering on the glass above the door. for our second night we rigged a towel to block the light. Wi-Fi was very poor when you could get any. if right by the router I only recorded 2mbs.

Super beautiful riad at a very good price. Hosts are very friendly and provide family style service. The location can be a bit hard to find though, better call the riad or follow the signs leading to "Riad Mouna Fes" and continue in that direction until you reach R'Mila. It's hidden in the backstreets. :) I was so satisfied, that I extended my stay.

Had a wonderful stay. Good location. There's also a terrace with a nice view. The Riad itself is beautifully set with an ornate courtyard. The staff- Mohammed and others- were an absolute pleasure. And the relaxing mint teas after roaming around the Medina is a nice touch.
Cons: The wifi and network were a bit patchy at times- but you could say it was same across most of the Medina.

The breakfast was very rich and the people were friendly.
Cons: the hosts were very good, but the location of the hotel is very bad, it is in a very remote area with little security, the room was very old along with all the furniture, there was a smell of humidity in the whole room and not to mention the bathroom. Unfortunately, through booking, you can see photos that do not match the reality of the place. My mistake was not looking at the location of the place, on the other hand, it is not a hotel, it is more of a hostel, they do not have food service about dinner or lunch and at night the place is luxuriant and you cannot go out. If the attention of the people who attend you stands out, they were kind but I do not recommend it.

Great and beautiful riad, with amazing views from the deck. Right across the street from the tannery but fortunately no smell. Great breakfast, an option for laundry. Our first room was small but comfortable and cozy with great decor. Then we upgraded to Junior Suit i HIGHLY recommend. what a great value and beautiful big apartment. Great own living room, romantic bedroom and great bathroom. The only downside the place was impossible to find when we arrived at 8 am. Google was slightly off with directions and there is no signage till you almost get there. Tiny, narrow and dark alleys. Make sure you dont arrive at night or ask for staff to meet you in the parking lot. If you are using google maps or maps me, go from the right side. That street on a left doesn't seem to exist.
Cons: Very hard to find, poor signage.

RâMila rihad itâs like an oasis in the middle of Fes city! The silence of the rihad, with the small pool and the garden, is outstanding. Truely relaxing. Mohamed is more than 5 stars. When we first arrived at Fes, at 11pm, the taxi dropped us in what seemed to be a very suscpiciouse square. But no: Mohamed was already waiting for us to take us to the hostel through those narrow streets of Fes Medina. Anything we needed throughout the days he was there to help. Even we were not staying over we could spent the afternoon at the pool just to relax. Very typical and good breakfast. We really believe this is the right place to stay in Fes.

Riad is lovely and colourful. Room and bathroom very poor, not clean, cold tap missing and no shower head holder. Blanket not clean so was itchy. Windows have bird dropping so smells once opened. Location is not great, deep in the ghetto with multiple alleys-didnt feel safe at night. Breakfast poor, stale bread, mint tea, flavoured orange juice and boiled egg.

The whole lock had been removed from the door to our room and we were told it would be repaired the next day. Our belongings were then left in the room, open to any other guest or visitor if so inclined. The lock wasnât repaired and we barely saw the owners. Language was a barrier but that was no fault at all of the owners. Great location though.

Beautiful Peaceful Andalusian Riad set within the backstreets of the Medina. The Riad is around a 10-15 minuite walk of the Madina, it is very easy to follow this walk after you have done it once. The Riad itself is beautiful as its a very dated property of around 600 years old it has a certain grandeur about it, when your sitting in the lobby relaxing by the pool during the day you cant help but ponder over the predecessors of a property of this size with massive solid wooden doors and huge pillars leading to the main building. The building has a kitchen open all hours for guests to use which is fantastic as you can use the kettle if you buy facilities for a cuppa or the fridge to chill your water or cold drinks etc. The pool is shaded by beautiful green trees and has a couple of resident Tortoises! We spent many hours outside relaxing during the day and at night when the lights lit up the atmospheric garden. The hotel was quiet so we felt comfortable sitting outside with the courtyard to ourselves at night and having the downstairs Jacuzzi room we could sit outside by the pool at night while being able to literally see our little one in room. No taxi driver knows the hotel so be prepared bring the paper work and prepare for a taxi back to the Riad to cost you 20Dirham due to driver getting lost! The downstairs bathroom did smell however this is a problem outside of europe. 5 Min walk to small Masjid Hotel staff friendly and happy to help. Amazing Breakfast!
