Nejlepší ubytování v celém Maroku. Krásný, prostorný a čistý pokoj s velkou koupelnou.

The Riad is authentic and has a beautiful rooftop terrace with 360° view of the old town. Saïd & Saïd are very friendly and helpful. They communicate well through the phone and in person, they made me feel home, and arranged great taxi service and pick up to walk together to the riad (as the first time, it would be quite hard to find the location).

Cons: The riad could use some maintenance and softer matrasses. I do NOT recommend booking tours with the riad as it was overpriced and the tour agents skipped half of the program that standard tours everywhere do provide. The breakfast was a lot of different breads, very tasty, but missed fruits or yoghurt for healthy option.

Our hosts Said and Said were so helpful and kind. The Riad is beautiful and has the best view from the shady terrace. Location is perfect.

This riad is the best one we were staying during our Morocco trip, and we changed 5/6 of them. The owners of the Riad are so nice and they were here for anything we need. Rooms are very big and comfortable with everything we can possibly need during our stay. Breakfast is amazing, and you can have it on a terrace with a view of whole medina. If we are coming to Fes again we would definitely choose the same accomodation.

We spent 4 days in this fantastic Riad in the Medina of Fes. The hosts, both named Said, are two special people—kind and welcoming. They met all our needs and organized every tour for us, both in and outside of Fes, during our stay. The location is excellent, easily reachable from one of the main gates at Rcif Square, about a 3-minute walk. The Riad is clean and equipped with everything you need for your vacation, featuring the typical architecture of a Moroccan Riad. The breakfast is generous and very good, carefully served—even on the terrace when the weather is nice—with a stunning view over the entire Medina.

The property was beautiful and the location was fantastic - right in the Medina! The best part, though, was definitely Saïd. He was such an excellent host and went above and beyond for us. He helped us book & plan our travels and activities, made us delicious breakfasts (very early when we had to leave early), and was always there for us if we needed anything at all. 10/10 service, highly recommend this Riad for you Fes trip!

I can highly recommend this riad! You will be welcomed by the warmest and friendliest staff ever and there is just a great atmosphere. We got help with everything, we didn‘t have to walk to restaurants or the bus stop by ourselves but got guided and when we got lost in the medina we got immediately help on whats app. The terrace has a breathtaking view and the breakfast is really good. When we left for our Sahara trip early they even packed a breakfast bag for us. I would definitely stay there again, so if you read this, this is your sign to book Riad El Bacha, you won‘t regret it :)

Cons: The only bad side was we had to change our programme as we were not expecting a city and a riad as good as this with such a price ✨they made us want more, we will have to come back here as soon as possible and just stay in the riad

Great position in the center of the Medina, few meters from Place Rcif where taxis can drop you off. The riad is very simple and spartan, yet for the price of a cheap european hostel you get a big room with private bathroom plus a good breakfast. There is a nice terrace at the top. Overall our experience at this riad was pleasant even though there were some small improvable things, e.g. the floor is not perfectly horizontal and so are the beds, the rooms are not remade every day... All in all I would recommend this riad to young people, group of friends and people who are adaptable and on a budget.

Cons: Having breakfast with the jacket is not the best experience, maybe some heating could have helped.

Our stay at Riad el Bacha was more than we could have hoped for. Saïd was so kind and helpful, booking tours for us, walking us to restaurants when we wanted recommendations, and making our stay easy and comfortable. Everything about this place oozes old charme, and perfectly encapsulates the ancient feel of this age old city. It's tucked away in a somewhat unprepossessing corner on the edge of the labyrinthine Medina (although it'svery easy to find), but once you're inside you're really in for a treat: huge, airy rooms retaining the fine features of aristocratic houses. Yes, the building is old and could probably do with some small renovations in places; but there's something of a fading grandeur enveloping the space, and if you're into that atmosphere, full of history and cultural authenticity, the place will just enchant you. This said, aside from any architectural or logistical musings, what makes the place absolutely outstanding is the people running it. I honestly would have not had half as good a time had it not been for the incredible, heart-warming and truly unsurpassed hospitality and kindness of the host Sayd. He made me feel like an old friend, and we spent long hours talking about anything from politics to art. He is one of the most welcoming, genuine and intellectually curious people I've had the luck to come across in my travels - and surely the very reason why I travel: the encounter with humanity, beauty and cultural diversity. To top it all off, the wonderful maid cooked an incredible meal on our last night, which we shared with other guests. There was plenty of couscous, various delicious meze starters and of course tea. It was an unusually wet evening with torrential rain, and being able to stay in and just enjoy the conviviality of other like-minded folks was the best I could have hoped for. Thank you Says and staff - you made my time in Fez one of my most cherished memories in my Moroccan visits, and really look forward to seeing you soon again!

Cons: Leaving the place!

Everything about Riad el Bacha is outstanding. It is, by far, the best guest house I have ever been to. The place is right in the Medina area, so the location couldn't be better. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated, with everything you may need to enjoy your stay and relax after visiting the city. And there's more... The riad has a huge and lovely terrace. One of the best memories I have from my trip to Morocco is having breakfast there while enjoying the view of the city. And by the way, breakfast is abundant and tasty, traditional style. However, what I would highlight the most about the place is how caring, helpful and kind the owner is. My father and I are incredibly grateful for everything he helped us with. Have zero doubts, if available, enjoy your stay at Riad el Bacha! Promise you won't regret it!

Riad El Bacha was great. We had a very nice and warm welcome by Said. He waited for us in the middle of the night and explained everything we wanted to know. Next day he even gave us the money because festival of the ship was still going on and almost everything was closed. Said was very adjustable, we had breakfast when ever we wanted. Riad has the best terrace in Fez - amazing view. Sometimes we spent some hours in the evening together, talking, laughing... Said is a super nice person. Highly recommended.

The location was excellent, inside the medina and close to everything we visited in Fes. The terrace where we also had the room and where we were served the breakfast was impressive and it was perfect for admiring the medina in the evenings. Said was welcoming with us, he showed us the way to the riad from where the airport taxi let us, offered us tea at the arrival and organized an earlier breakfast at the departure.

Cons: There are some things to improve regarding the comfort and the overall aspect of the room: e.g: half of the room light bulbs were missing, the bathtub water drained very slowly or was not draining at all

The hosts (Said and Said) are exceptionally helpful. They have great manners and speak great English. It is so obvious that they care about their guests. Tgey came to outside the medina where we were sheltering from the rain to guide us to the hotel. They helped book a taxi for 4am when one member needed to leave, they were reassuring throughout. They even gave us a praying mat when we asked the qibla direction. They provided us breakfast when we asked and were always happy to provide mint tea. They also recommended some great restaurants for us to enjoy. The riad was very beautiful with excellent traditional decor. The wifi was strong. The room was big despite it having 4 beds and a sofa. The bathroom was very big.

Cons: There was some issues relating to comfort. The beds were lumpy and hard with brick like pillows. The wardrobe did not close properly. There was no bin in the room as well. There was no natural light and half of the room bulbs were missing. The floor was broken in some parts. The bathroom door did not close properly. The bathroom light was not working but there was a small one working above the sink. The bathtub water drained very slowly.

The service at the riad was the best I have experienced in my solo adventure in Morocco. I was intimidated by Fez due to the size of the medina and it was during Ramadan, but with the help from the riad, I was provided superb advice what to do and how to navigate myself in the medina. We even shared a great Ramadan breakfast together. The Riad has a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic medina of Fez and u can have your breakfast there every morning.

Cons: There isn't anything that is bad here.

Said & Said full attention and availability to meet our needs. For instance, we arrived by car at a hectic Fes at night and the gps took us to a pedestrian only street. We called Said and he immediately met us at the location we were to guide us to the parking space and then to the Riad. He even helped us bargain the price for the parking (in Morocco they normally charge tourists 10x more than locals). Then we got super hungry and it was already late at night, no restaurant was opened anymore, so he was kind enough to cook us an omelette (the riad doesn’t offer dinner option, which shows how hard they try to meet their guests needs). They made our experience in Fes definitely smoother than it would be without all their help.

Cons: The room wasn’t cleaned on the first night since they had a problem with the cleaner on that day. When we requested clean pillowcases for the second night and they offered us a better room, for no extra charge - again another example that they try hard to turn the low points into solutions to better accommodate their guests.

They arranged the tours we preferred and always welcomed us with very good Moroccan tea. The terrace is stunning with a wonderful view. We will definitely come back. See you guys soon!

absolutely the best riad we stayed in Marokko! the traditional rooms are clean & had a private bathroom. You can have breakfast (bread, juice, omelette, tea, coffee, everything you wish for) on the rooftop with a panoramic view. The riad is in a good location in the Medina, just a few minutes walk from the R‘sif square, not too hard to find (use maps.me). Best part: Saïd & Saïd, the hosts! There were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. They helped us finding our way around the medina, how to bargain with taxi drivers and merchants and everything else we needed. One evening we even prepared dinner together and had a nice meal and interesting chat on the rooftop. 10/10, would definitely stay here again! (thanks a lot, guys!)

Cons: beds are a bit hard and since you‘re staying inside the medina, you can hear the sounds from the street (maybe bring earplugs if you‘re a light sleeper).

The location is convenient, in the middle of medina, but still quite easy to find. The view you where you can see 360 degree panorama of the medina is amazing, especially at sunset and at night. Staff is very helpfull and welcoming, however not able to go an extra mile to sort out problems that arise. The room was spacious and quite comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but after more than 2-3 days it could get boring. Efficient aircon that kept the room warm even when there was 0 Degrees C outside.

Cons: There was no hair dryer in the room, although it was mentioned in the room description. We've been told that they know about it and maybe will change it one day. Quite sad. Pillows had no cases, only decorative cases were provided, so we had to improvise and wrap them in sheets. The toiletteries were not sufficient. Hot water supply was limited and even though we had a bath tube (one of the reasons why we booked this riad) we were not able to fill it with hot water to have a relaxing bath.

Service was exceptional, staff, especially Said was really helpful and saved us a couple of times in Fez. Huge shoutout to them they gave us so many tips for travelling in Fez, and were super hospitable. Said even brought us around and saved us when it got dark and scary in Fez. He is also really proficient in English and shared with us a lot on Morocco. We felt really safe staying there! Breakfast was huge and delicious and they make a really good mint tea! Our favourite! Would highly recommend staying here.

Cons: Location of riad was in a small alley in the main medina, so we missed it and ended up being lost in the medina. It was not easily findable by Google Maps so we had to call Said to fetch us. It was a really scary experience as walking the medina as Asians after dark was not necessarily the wisest thing to do!

the riad vas in old town, so we were so close to everywhere we want to see. it was a clean, very orantic and hostorical riad. mr said and his friend vas very nice and helpful people. mr saed solved very little problems, he was very reachable so we could ask anything to him.

Cons: the place is in old madine so it was very difficult to find a place to park our car. there was bazaar Aberystwyth road to go the riad. mr said was ready to pick us up and help us. thanks to him🌸

this property was all we hoped and a great option for the cost. our rooms were spacious, simple and comfortable. The whole place is nicely decorated to reflect its heritage. we were treated to a lovely breakfast on the terrace and the guys in charge were very accommodating even on mornings when we were leaving early. they gave helpful advice on the area and walked us to a restaurant they recommended (which provided a lovely meal on the roof terrace). our sense was that there was nothing we could have asked that would have been to much, really the guys worked so hard to ensure we were happy and comfortable. they made contact to meet us at the station and walked us to find taxis when needed. the location of the riad is perfect for exploring the town. would certainly want to go back when next in Fes

The Riad is a real culture inmerse place. It has all the needed to spend a night. What I didn’t like was the place where it is located; the entrance is very old and dirty perhaps inside it is much better; no good signs to find it and the parking is like 10 minutes away.

Biggest positive about this spot was its location, then the breakfast on the roof, then mediocre wifi. Other than that however, it was inadequate specifically in the bathroom - no toilet paper, large leak daily from the toilet, and the bath tub was barely functional. If you simply need a place to lay your head for a night then this’ll do, but don’t expect the most luxurious of experiences.

We had a really wonderful time at this Riad. Breakfast was served on a gorgeous terrace with a view of the entire Médina. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in finding our way around the Médina and answering questions. The roof terrace is worth it all, we had there breakfasts (and a yummy dinner) with a view... Our room was very big with a massive double bed. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. Location is great to explore the city during the day, although it is not the best at evening/night when the shops close as there are not many restaurants/cafes/bars around...

This riad is a bit hard to find, we were calling the host for directions to no avail (no answer) and were constantly molested by children (and everyone else for that matter) to be guided to the riad. Finally we had no choice but use the "child guide service" only to be taken through a ridiculously long route (children always do this in hopes of higher tips, so beware, you will lose even more time!). The host was rather unfriendly and didn't even apologize for not answering the phone, claiming we was out looking for us (ridiculous lie). The room was very cold (November) and had transparent curtains (basically zero privacy). Host switches the courtyard light off at 1-2 a.m., talking on the phone until late without caring about his guests.

Personeel is erg vriendelijk.

When I am writing this review I am not totally at ease. The room is not as good as it is advertised on Hotels.com. It seems to me that there are two premises associated with the name of this riad, and I was arranged to be staying in a riad which seemed to be more old and less maintained. However, the staff there was amazing, including Sanae, Said (whom I understand to be a new-comer) and the kitchen lady. They offered great help to me regarding all my problems during my journey in Fez. They are amazing people.

A bientôt

To make it clear, we never stayed at this Riad but were taken to 'other Riad El Bacha' as the one presented above and originaly booked was unavailable when we showed up in the evening. Our flight arrived at 8.00pm and we could not make it earlier than 10.00pm. This Riad, that I have originaly booked, looks far smarter than the one we stayed in but, as my husband pointed out we got lucky with the location. The one we stayed in, and not the one showen here, is much closer to Rsif gate and parking, which was essential for us as we hired a rent a car. Therefore, it wont be fair to comment Riad showen as we have no knowledge of it.
