The staff was amazing, we were given a parking spot and the attendant knew we were coming, we arrived hungry in the evening and a staff member went above and beyond and accompanied us to a great restaurant. The breakfast was exceptional and filling, the pool a great way to cool off. I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

Il riad bellissimo, un'opera d'arte, personale gentile disposto ad aiutarti a qualsiasi ora, camera meravigliosa arredata con gusto con tutti i confort

Cons: La posizione, lontana dalla porta blu e dai ristoranti. Di notte un po pericoloso perdersi nella media per ritrovare il riad. Il primo ristorante a diversi km a piedi tra salite e discese. Neanche i taxi sono riusciti a capire bene la posizione. Peccato per la piscina spenta e trascurata non proprio come le foto, stessa cosa per la terrazza.

Le riad est superbe et très propre. Il dispose d'une terrasse sur les toits qui offre une vue magnifique sur la médina et d une petite piscine tres appréciable. Les chambres sont belles et spacieuses, le petit-déjeuner varié et copieux et les plats préparés par la charmante épouse d Hicham sont excellents. Et que dire de l accueil et de la gentillesse de Hicham, Mohammed , Nalha et toutes les personnes travaillant au riad. Personnel attentionné et bienveillant. Notre fils de 8 ans était comme un prince ! Le riad propose de nombreuses prestations et organise toutes vos demandes ( taxi, hamman, excursions privées etc...). Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Un grand merci. Si nous revenons à Fès, nous reviendrons c est certain !

The staff are the reason this place is highly rated. Nahla and Mohammed are incredibly kind and helpful. Nahla excelled in communication before our arrival and even surprised us for our anniversary. We're glad we booked dinner in advance, as Fes can be chaotic and busy. The Riad is located within the Mdina, which was a delightful surprise—a beautiful hidden gem in the old Mdina. Parking is available outside the Mdina for 20 dirhams per night. The Riad itself is elegant and clean.

Es un palacete muy de allí , arquitectura típica, silencioso y envolvente.

Cons: Le comunicamos el primer día al señor que nos preguntaba por todo, que perdia agua el lavabo y nos dijo que lo solucionarían , nos marchamos y seguía igual. Nos extrañó también que no hubiera TV.

Cons: Accessing it is tricky with only google maps and leads through a dark alley. Nearby parking always full. The bathroom door is very loud. The room could have more in terms of plates, glasses - would save going downstairs for everything. The pool is very small and not particularly nice.

- if you ever wanted to stay in a palace, this is a great place to do it - wonderful palace with a beautiful courtyard and nice terrace - wonderful host and people working in the palace - both our room and our suite were incredible - very good breakfast and dinner - great location to experience the city

We liked its authenticity and its opulence, it was a calm oasis retreat in the middle of the Medina’s hustle and bustle. The team that run the Riad’s day to day activities cannot be faulted. The care and attention they give their guests is second to none, we were very well looked after by all.

Super service !!! Hicham et Ibtissam (les hôtes) sont d’un accueil ultra chaleureux. Ils sont aux petits soins tout le temps et a n’importe quel moment. Le riad est bien situé par rapport a la medina. Mais attention seul bémol hyper difficilement accessible en voiture et faut marcher entre le parking en extérieur et la medina pour y arriver.

We were very happy with our stay. Muhammad upgraded our room, which was very comfortable. The hotel environment was quiet, yet it was just a short walk to the bustling streets. Everyone at the hotel was fantastic and always responded promptly to any needs or requests. This was important as these little tips made our trip much easier and more enjoyable. We returned to the hotel very late at night, but Ali waited for us and even prepared some orange juice. We felt a home-like warmth at the hotel. I'm sorry I can't remember all the staff members' names from yesterday and today, but they were truly amazing! The hotel also offers guide services, which I believe is a great option in the streets of Fes, as there are so many winding paths!

Perhaps one of the most pleasant place you would like to be in Fes ..both to enjoy a charming atmosphere ..have a relaxing time and breath the authentic Medina life. Staff is attentive and cheerful. Super clean and comfortable. Comfortable mattress..no bad odours around (like in other riad people experiences) and full with light despite in the narrow passages of the Fes Medina. There is a wide and beautiful terrace where you can enjoy a beautiful view over the city. Breakfast is enough wide and well prepared. I would come here again

This is a superb riad. in the Fez Medina and what a wonderful stay we had. The building is authentic and exotic and the staff could not have been more helpful. They were at all times smiling and welcoming. The food was delicious and the presentation extremely appealing.

Our host Mohammed gave us excellent service! He is professional, attentive, friendly and efficient! He helped us with good recommendations and advice how to navigate tricky Fes medina.

Cons: The rooms were good, however some small details should be attended to before they become big problems - for example, some mold in the bathroom, some paint here and there.

Once you walk inside you are surrounded by peace and comfort. It seems this place is conceived to harbour the tired tourist after the exciting walks and experiences on Fes el-Bali's streets. Bahia is a true experience in itself, everything is adequately provided at the level one expects for a palace: the breakfast, the staff, the room, the atmosphere created by the owners (the patio, the library, the exquisite decorations,...).

Cons: Nothing. Just want to mention that I look forward for my next visit to experience the roof top.

Cons: The location of this riad did not sit well with me and my husband considering he is Moroccan. We did not feel safe and was disappointed with the riad for not understanding that we were uncomfortable to stay the 2nd night therefore had to arrange alternative accommodation.

The Riad is beautiful and clean. The staff was great and helpful with anything we needed. They helped us with a wonderful guide for Fez. They waited for us with dinner the night we arrived. The Riad is in the Medina and is quite hectic but the staff made us feel comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!!!

the place is pretty and right in the Medina. that is an advantage as well as a hindrance because your car cannot drive you to the door

Cons: as we couldn’t drive to the door there was a fight of porters who wanted to take our things and wanted to charge us. very uncomfortable . the hotel staff are in on this scam. also the staff was not at all helpful. I forgot my room key in the car , given the distance to parkings and that it was my second night there they could have opened the room for me with their key. They didn’t want to . not at all nice . wouldn’t come back and do not recommend it

The rooms were big, the staff very attentive, the breakfast excellent and the view from the terrace.

Cons: The little street where the Riad is located is very dark when coming in the night. The terrace is nothing like the pictures (which I believe it’s photoshopped). The pool wasn’t inviting as the area was full of flies. At the checkout my friend took one of the little shampoo bottles and she was asked to give it back. I think the Riad should drop a couple of stars; be more honest with the published pictures and make the terrace nice as it has potential, but as it is, it doesn’t justify paying that price.

Mohammed, Hisham and Mr Ali were exceptionally kind. The place was beautiful and really clean. The rooms are also really large with lots of storage to keep our things. Breakfast was also great with lots of options.

Cons: The location being in the old medina was tricky because we had too many suitcases and there's an 8-minute walk to the property from where cars have to stop because the road to the Riyad is motorable. I personally didn't mind, the Riyad staff helped with our luggage and walked with us most times.

The service here was absolutely incredible. The guys managing the hotel went above and beyond to welcome me and take care of me. I got horrible food poisoning while working in the countryside with farmers outside of Fes, and the guys took care of me as if I was their family, bringing me food and checking in on me and even giving me traditional Moroccan remedies. The place is also beautiful, and location is good. I am so grateful!

Beautiful riad, set around a lovely courtyard, a lovely rooftop terrace with a great view of Fes from it. The pool looked clean, although we didn't use it.On arrival we were kindly upgraded to a junior suite for the entire 6 night stay. Our room was huge, with a comfortable bed. The shower worked well with good hot water but the water was slow to drain away, even after they tried to fix it. We had a fridge with a minibar in the room. The wifi worked intermittently, so we couldn't stream Netflix, and there was no tv in the room. There was only 1 armchair for sitting the remainder were Moroccan bean bags & stools, which were decorative but impractical for sitting on for any length of time.

Camere bellissime, pulite e confortevoli, una terrazza da cui ammirare la Medina di Fes e tutti gli spazi del Riad perfettamente curati e in stile. Ouadi il responsabile del Riad è una persona fantastica, ci ha regalato un soggiorno perfetto dandosi da fare tantissimo per ogni nostra esigenza.. Giorni indimenticabili !

We had a stopover at Fes for just one night on our road trip from Casablanca to Marakech via Meknes and Volubilis.Ouady and his staff took excellent care for us. The place and rooms looked mostly like the pictures (I say mostly, because in photographs things sometimes are made to look bigger-- but this house has high ceilings, nicely decorated rooms and the courtyard is well apportioned). The view from the terrace was very good as well. Like in most places inside a medina-- you cannot drive right into the doors of the this hotel-- be prepared to call ahead so that they can send someone to guide and help you with the luggage. I found most travel related businesses and persons we dealt in Morocco with very professional and proactive-- they will contact you ahead of time, asking about your arrival time and location etc, they were (or tried to be-- sometimes traffic and other conditions such as the presence of the king in Marakech blocking off part of the center for hours get in the way) always on time. Ouady was no exception. In fact, the hotel overcharged me for an extra meal by mistake-- Ouady arranged to send me the refund to our hotel in Casablanca within a few hours. I would definitely recommend this place, we wish we had more time in Fes.

I reached there after a long train from Marrakech. The taxi didn't know the address and called the riad for direction but the surprise was that they refused to give directions to the taxi and said they're not expecting any guests. After following Google maps and the help of random people for directions I continued my way to the riad on foot with my luggage. I struggled to find my way on the narrow and dark alleys of Fes at night. I rang the bell and a young man opened the door (he was probably 15-17 years). I explained that I have a reservation he said they don't have any booking. I waited by the door till he called the manager. Then I was welcomed in and spoke to the manager on the phone. He assured me that they didn't receive the booking details but he will be at the riad to fix the situation in the morning. I stayed in the riad all alone (except for the teenage boy and his young brother). The riad was upside down. Dirty, messed up and definitely not set for guests. It is a shame since it is a lovely place but run so poorly. I stayed there for 2 nights even though I really wanted to run away. I didn't feel safe and didn't feel welcomed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
