Cons: Dommage que l’accueil a été exécrable. Ils ont essayé de nous rouler dès notre arrivée, en nous disant d’abord que nous avions réservé pour 6 alors que nous avions réservé pour 9. Puis le lendemain en essayant de nous faire payer 500€ en trop pour les chambres alors qu’elles avaient déjà été réglées via booking. Il a fallu l’intervention de la propriétaire, qui même si elle est très peu aimable, a bien du reconnaître à l’appui de notre réservation qu’ils étaient pleinement en tort. Nous avions pris le dîner chez eux, sur 9 personnes, 5 intoxications alimentaires. La propriétaire a refusé de nous décompter les 5 petits déjeuners non consommés, prétextant que le souci ne venait pas de leur cuisine. Un vrai scandale 😡 Adresse vraiment à décommander

The Ksar is quite a nice facility, and the central garden is very nice. We also found the wait staff in the resaurant excellent.

Cons: However, much to our surprise, after checking-in, we were led out the front door, out the front gate and down a relatively dark street to the building where our rooms were. No joking, the central garden (the main selling point in the advertising) is nice but we were almost as close to the main highway as we were to the central garden. I suspect the hotel was overbooked with bus tours, but I don't appreciate get shoved out to the 'overflow' area. At the very least be very careful about selecting what room or suite you want (pool, river and garden views seem to ensure you are not shoved off in a corner. Additionally, beware that the facility, and especially the restaurant seems to be heavily tailored to large scale bus tours.

This is an amazing hotel in a beautiful location. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful… we were upgraded to an amazing suite overlooking the mountains and with views of Ait benhaddou. Food in the restaurant was buffet style on the second night because of a big trip in, but was varied and of food quality. The bed was a bit hard for us. All in all I couldn’t recommend it more.. exceptional.

Cons: The common areas of the hotel are neat and impressive, while the rooms are spacious but could use some improvement. It was windy at night, and we could hear the sound coming through the wooden frames. There was also mold in the bathroom, which had a foul smell. The biggest disappointment was the policy and service at the reception. On the first day, we asked if there were bikes available. We were given two bicycles, which we used for four hours. However, on the day of checkout, when we returned the keys and tried to leave the parking lot, they wouldn’t open the gate for us. We were told that we owed a certain amount and couldn’t leave until we paid. This situation was unacceptable! I couldn't understand why they had the right to prohibit us from leaving. After about 15 minutes, a receptionist came to inform us that we owed €80, which was €10 per hour for the bikes. When we protested, she raised her voice, insisting that these were the prices in Morocco and that they were more expensive than in Europe. We tried to negotiate the fees, explaining that we were never informed about the charges, especially not at those prices. The receptionist laughed and said, “Did you think it would be free? Hahaha...” In the end, we paid half of the amount. Having traveled for 15 years and being a hotel owner on a Greek island, I found this behavior to be unworthy of any guest and not representative of authentic Moroccan hospitality. I will not stay at this hotel again, and I suggest you think twice before booking here.

This place.. Just book it.... Really exceeded my expectations. We actually came back later again. The hotel works a lot with tour groups (that arrive at night and leave in the morning), so during the day you might have it all to yourself. During september, there were barely any people anyways.

Cons: The food at the hotel is the only downside. And there are not a lot of alternatives around.

We have spent a wonderful time at this hotel. Service is top notch, breakfast is one of the best ones we have had over our stay in Morocco. View from the rooms (Suite) are great and rooms are very spacious. The pool is nicely fresh, quiet and well decorated. Options at the shop are great too. The hotel is nicely decorated and very typical in general. The gym is quite complete. We will definitely be back and would recommend that place without any hesitations. Note that a car is needed to visit the Kasbah (8min ride by car), but they also have bikes to rent if needed.

The whole place is ideal I suggest requesting a large room. The food is great, staff fantastic and I will absolutely return and bring others. One amazing miracle is their ATM machine in the lobby. It gives you as much money as you want and believe me...ATM's do not exist in the villages on the ride to Ait Ben Haddou...so finding a cash machine was heaven.

Cons: Our check out experience was appalling. We had pre paid via booking.com which was evident from our booking confirmation and showed on their computer system, however there was clearly an issue on their side of the software which meant they couldn’t see the credit card information, and although we had paid for our room, we had to pay again. The receptionist was difficult and wouldn't accept the confirmation email we had, and the fact that the money had come out of our account, and didn't believe that it was an issue on their system. A few days later they contacted us to say that they had in fact been paid by booking.com and so could reimburse us for the fact that we paid twice. However, we are now 5 weeks on and we still haven't been refunded, so we are left having paid twice for this hotel and a refund that is taking far too long to come through.

it is a nice Kasbha and Located 5min from Ait Ben Haddou. It was easy to find and access. Location view are stunning. The design of the buildings are very nice and traditional. Pool area looks very nice and welcoming. It was simply to fresh to swim but will be a great refreshment in the hot season.

Cons: The breakfast buffet was okey, i expected more from the room rate but all in all it was okey but not great. The Bar closes at 22:00 which i found a little early, since there is not much to do.

The hotel is in a great location close to Ait Ben Haddou. Staff were attentive. Food quality was good in the bar area and a mixed buffet in the main dining area. There is a lot of new building work going on around the property which when finished will create additional accommodations. As of October 2023 the work is in process. We were in the last rooms available which were the 'economy' rooms which were not in the main building, small but comfortable. When we return we will book the suites in the main building! Excellent bar with a good selection of beverages.

We have tried to get our money back for the booking but the hotel do not respond to any messages and have not given us any information. They have not returned our money! Our recomendation is not to book with this hotel. We think it is a scam!

Cons: I booked 2 budget rooms for 2 couples , I got the confirmation showed that total price for 4 adults about 190Euro and taxes 8 Euro 2€x4 pax. When we arrived there they told me that the reservation is only for 2 people and they changed us 30€ extra for extra 2 beds or to book other room. Even the price for 2pax or 1 pax is the same price as mentioned on booking.com The dinner is very expensive 30€ p.p because you don't have too much options to eat outside the hotels. I shared a proof of my reservation below to be careful before you book with them.

Cons: BEWARE OF SCAMMING HOTEL! Hotel cancelled our pre-paid accommodation on the day of our arrival a month ago and we still haven’t received a refund. Hotel ignores all emails and calls both from us and booking. Absolutely ridiculously - nothing like anything I’ve ever had to deal with! Hotel cancelled on the day of our arrival due to the earthquake even though the area wasn’t affected. This was obviously very much understandable and we did nothing but prayed for them. This last minute cancellation however meant that we already lost hundreds on our flights as we couldn’t take the trip. However we expected a refund for the accommodation as it was the hotel that cancelled and did so literally last minute, an hr before our flight departure. Nevertheless, there was no mention of a refund and we still haven’t got our money back. We have sent half a dozen of emails and attempted to call many times but no answer. They ignore booking as well. Unbelievable.

Cons: Extremely small and stuffy room. Never stay in rooms started with 8. It's far away from the main building and very poor. It was impossible to sleep. No fresh air. The small window looks to the internal ladder and gives no sunlight. Also, the door of the building was closed, and they didn't provide the key. You have to walk to reception and ask to open it all the time.

Everything about the property is absolutely beautiful! I would like to highlight a few of the top moments of my stay: 1. I have never met more friendly and attentive team. They treated us with such kindness and made our stay that much more enjoyable. 2. The landscape and architecture of the property is unmatched and made us feel like we were living in paradise. The hotel has the most beautiful garden and pool space where we were able to relax and enjoy. We enjoyed soaking up the sun and reading our books. 3. The uniqueness of this hotel is an experience in itself. It feels like a paradise palace in the middle of the Moroccan dessert. I will definitely be coming back on either a girls trip or even romantic getaway. 4. It is easy enough to get to from Marrakech with buses and private taxis taking you through the Atlas Mountains. It is also about a 30 minute taxi from Ouarzazate Airport. I could go on and on about my stay here but I’ll leave it here. Thank you Brahmin, Zaharia, Raheel, and Erik! We will definitely be back for another trip of a lifetime!

The location was a little strange, once we learned where it was in comparison to Ait Ben-haddou we were happy we were close enough to the site but far enough from the crowds. The meals were good. The attention to detail in the rooms, the grounds and design/architecture was noted and absolutely stunning. This property is definitely a destination! 10++++

Cons: The food was good, not great. There were many choices but unlike most of Morocco where most meals are made fresh, there were parts of the buffet meals that were not freshly prepared. Everything else was great which made up for this detail but maybe room for improvement for the food.

This is an old Kasbah that has been renovated. the courtyard with the swimming pol were surprisingly big, spacious and very well manicured. Very nice place to relax. It has some terraces upstairs with amazing views of the mountains on which the sun sets with orange and pink colors. Gorgeous

Cons: We had a standard room which ended up having one small window only facing the inside of a small courtyard so there was hardly any daylight inside the room. I must mentioned the room inside was very well decorated, beds were comfortable and bathroom and powder room had everything we needed. Sadly, the hotel was fully booked that night so we couldn't change rooms. Despite this, I would go back to this hotel but would ask for a room with a bit more light.

Cons: The rooms are very dark, small tv, tiny bathroom. Food disappointing. Same bland self-serve breakfast daily; eggs, pastries, berber bread, coffee, orange juice, yogurt and a few other items. Dinner was 300 dirhams per person and was a set menu that we didn't care for so the only option was to have a tasteless sandwich on dry bland berber bread. The remote location doesn't allow for any nearby dining options.

Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort of this small property. Hidden among the hills and views of the nearby Kasbah, don’t be confused to think it is a low budget affair. The food is amazing. The location is gorgeous, well manicured gardens well-maintained buildings, great views, and an incredible spa. Anyone would be silly not to choose this location! It is worth every Dirham!

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, gepflegt und komfortabel. Allerdings war das Abendessen kalt und geschmacklich durchschnittlich. Beim Frühstück muß für einen genießbaren Cappuccino oder Espresso extra bezahlt werden (20).

We've been upgraded to a Suite (which really should be a standard room). Service was OK, but the facility is great with a lot of quite place to rest and relax! Everything is of great shape and clean. Food was OK.

Mauvais service et qualité de la cuisine mediocre. Nous avons ete tres malade a cause d'une intoxication. Tous nos repas ont ete pris dans cet hotel eten plus c'etait vraiment pas bon. Deuxieme fois que nous venons mais derniere! A fuir!!!!

Très mauvaise du fait d'avoir dû payer une deuxième fois ma réservation. personnel méfiant et en fin de compte ne privilégie pas le client. Nous avions pourtant donner nos preuves de paiement et même du début de notre compte. sans succès sous prétexte que "on a toujours des problèmes avec les Marocains "...nous sommes pourtant Français !!
