Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, vor allem der Mitarbeiter der die Nachtschichten über hatte, Zimmer im letzten Stock waren auch sehr gut und komfortabel, Terrasse sehr gemütlich
Cons: Kein Gepäckservice (vom Parkplatz zum Riad - es liegt in einer Gasse wo man nicht mit dem Auto hinkommt) musste man einen Kofferträger organisieren (nicht schlimm kostet ca. 3 €) war auch zuverlässig. Die Gegend ist zwar relativ zentral zum blauen Tor, aber abends fühlt man sich nicht so wohl. Wir waren zum Glück zu zweit, also fühlte man sich schon sicher. Das Frühstück erst ab 8.30 Ihr möglich. Das für eine Rundreise leider viel zu spät ist. Wir haben dann auf Anfrage das Frühstück schon etwas früher bekommen, aber man hat es nicht so gerne gesehen, da die Mitarbeiterin die normalerweise das Frühstück vorbereitet erst gegen 8.10 Uhr ins Riad kommt. Bis zum Schluss hat es aber gepasst. Bzgl. Zimmerreinigung - wir wurden gefragt ob wir diese haben wollen. Wir bejahten, es wurde aber nur 1 Zimmer gereinigt. War für uns aber auch nicht schlimm. Man muss halt nachbohren.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Riad Zamane. Nous étions dans la chambre Saphyr. Tahir et Hamza sont adorables. Ils ont tout fait pour que nous nous sentions parfaitement bien. Le Riad propose d'organiser des visites guidées. Nous avons fait une visite guidée de la médina pendant une journée entière avec un super guide (Kamel). Le Riad propose aussi un transfert privé depuis et jusqu'à l'aéroport de Fes. Les chauffeurs ont été ponctuels à l'aller et au retour. Tout était parfait. Merci encore !

A beautiful Riad in a great location. Hamza made sure our stay was smooth and organized an amazing private tour of the Medina and great massages in the hotel. I'd recommend eating in the hotel one evening as the food is really good. The rooms are spacious with great bathrooms and showers. A 10/10 and we'd recommend staying here if you are coming to Fes 😀

We had an amazing stay at Riad Zamane. The riad is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, but what truly made our experience special was the host. Hamza and Tahir were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay — always ready to help with anything we needed and making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the atmosphere of the riad made our time in Fes even more memorable. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend Riad Zamane to anyone visiting the city.

Loved the staff. Hamzaa and Tahir were very friendly and accommodating. Hamzaa provided great help all day to any needs we had. The food was delicious there. The room was very nice. The location is very close to the medina area.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument exceptionnel au Riad Zamane ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable par Tahir et Hamza, toujours souriants, disponibles et attentionnés. Leur hospitalité a vraiment fait toute la différence et nous a fait sentir comme à la maison. Le riad est magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, alliant authenticité et confort moderne. La chambre était d’une propreté irréprochable, spacieuse et parfaitement entretenue. Chaque détail est soigné, et l’ambiance du lieu invite à la détente. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de la médina, ce qui permet de tout visiter facilement tout en profitant du calme du riad. En résumé, une expérience inoubliable ! Nous recommandons le Riad Zamane les yeux fermés et reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Position idéale dans la médina tout en étant proche de la périphérie où l'on peut trouver des taxis , restaurants , commerces classiques . Etre au centre de la Medina poserait problème pour des accés rapides . Beau Riad traditionnel avec une grande cour intérieure superbement décorée ; chambres bien équipées avec notamment une salle de bains moderne . Très belle terrasse au sommet du riad avec belle vue et possibilité de se reposer , de boire , de manger ... Les responsables à qui nous avons eu affaire , Hamza et Tahid sont parfaits : souriants , à l'écoute , efficaces . Ils donnent tout le service souhaité : reservation des taxis , programmation d'activités diversers : guide pour la médina , excursions diverses ... possibilité de reserver pour le hamam et le massage , possibilité de manger dans la cour intérieure sur réservation .. Wir hatten das Zimmer Chambre de luxe mit Terrasse, es hieß Kenz. Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Das Riad ist sehr schön. Unser Zimmer an der Seite der großen Dachterrasse war wunderschön. Wir hatten eine eigene kleine Terrasse. Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Mit Bademäntel, Pflegeprodukten, Keksen und anderes. Es war sehr ruhig. Am Abend haben wir auf der Dachterasse Tajine gespeist. Das Frühstück war gut.. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden gern wieder in diesem Riad übernachten.
Cons: Das Riad liegt mitten in der Medina und mit dem Parken war es nicht so einfach. Selbsternannte Parkwächter und junge Männer halten Ausschau nach suchenden Touristen und kassieren Parkgebühren und bieten dubios erscheinende Stadtführungen an.

La ubicación es perfecta. Es muy bonito por dentro y el personal muy amable. La habitación era muy grande. Fueron muy atentos en ir a recibirnos donde nos dejó el taxi y llevar nuestras maletas para que no tuvieramos que buscar la puerta de entrada.
Cons: La ducha estaba tapada y se acumulaba agua. Además, había una pareja de huéspedes que parecían ser los dueños del Riad, que fumaban en el patio interior del Riad todo el día. Este patio no tiene ventilación natural (el techo es una claraboya), fumaban durante el desayuno lo cual es muy desagradable, y encima nuestra habitación solo tenía 1 ventana que daba a este patio, lo cual ya de por sí no es buena ventilación pero además entraba todo el humo de tabaco. El desayuno no es muy bueno.

I’m one of those people who rarely writes reviews—usually only after an exceptionally good or bad experience. This riad is truly a Moroccan gem. We spent a week traveling through the country—staying in a riad in Marrakech, taking a private desert tour, and finally arriving in Fez. This was the only place where we genuinely felt welcomed like home. The staff did an excellent job from start to finish—beginning with the booking confirmation, communication before arrival, and throughout our stay. We were served a traditional Moroccan welcome tea upon check-in, our room was spotless, and the homemade dinner was both delicious and beautifully presented. The assistance we received during our stay was wonderful—every question we had was answered. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here, and they even arranged a cake with a candle for him. I have to say, this was the only place in Morocco where we didn’t feel overcharged (which, let’s be honest, is often part of the Moroccan experience). It was refreshing to be treated as guests, not as walking wallets. Thank you for your warm hospitality—we wish you all the best!

The riad itself was very beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was quiet when we were there. There's a nice rooftop you can use as per your convenience. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. We had Tahir and Hamza who were brilliant. Tahir explained everything in great detail, including how to go around the Medina, which was very helpful for our short stay. You will have to have cash in case you want additional services like the Hammam and massage. Both services were nice.

Hele mooie riad. De locatie was super! Midden in de medina. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kwamen pas om 02:30 aan door een vertraagde vlucht en werden snel geholpen met de kamer en het tillen van de koffers.

We loved this Riad! It was so beautiful inside. The rooms were huge. We have our own private patio, and the rooftop area was terrific. I sat there and did Zoom meetings because it was so lovely. Hanzi, the reception was excellent and so friendly. He helped us in so many ways. We had dinner one night of traditional Moroccan food, which was sourced and prepared fresh that day. Amazing experience.

Prenotato presso la “Chambre deluxe avec terrasse - kenz”. Arriviamo verso la tarda mattinata, avendo chiesto di anticipare il check in: richiesta accolta senza problemi. Subito ci fanno sedere nel cortile interno, offrendoci - come di consueto - il loro té alla menta marocchino, accompagnato da biscotti. Rilassante e delizioso. Camera esattamente come nelle foto: pulita, bagno enorme e doccia confortevole, letto comodissimo. C’è anche un piccolo balconcino con due sedie. Accesso alla terrazza comune semplice, vista panoramica su tutta la città. Costo leggermente superiore alla media, ma il Riad ha degli standard decisamente al di sopra della media. Pertanto, il gioco vale assolutamente la candela. Ci torneremo sicuramente, qualora ricapitassimo a Fes

Este Riad ha sido, sin duda, uno de los más bonitos en los que me he alojado. No solo destaca por su preciosa decoración y su excelente ubicación, sino sobre todo por el equipo humano que lo hace realmente especial. Desde el momento de la reserva, Tahir estuvo pendiente de nosotros, dándonos recomendaciones muy útiles sobre qué hacer en la ciudad y aconsejándonos restaurantes excelentes. Su amabilidad y profesionalidad marcaron la diferencia. También quiero destacar a Hamza, un chico súper educado, siempre predispuesto a ayudarnos en todo momento. Y, por supuesto, a Nadia, que se encargó de mantener una limpieza y un orden impecables. Las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y majestuosas, un verdadero lujo. Es un Riad en el que te apetece quedarte dentro y simplemente disfrutar. Además, la tranquilidad es absoluta, ideal para descansar, y los desayunos son muy completos. En definitiva, un Riad de ensueño que recomiendo muchísimo, sobre todo para quienes buscan relajarse y vivir una experiencia auténtica. Chokran familia, nos veremos pronto! ❤️

El mejor sitio en el que nos hemos alojado en Marruecos. El trato ha sido increíble en todo momento. Si cenas allí, hay que avisar esa mañana ya que van a comprar cada día el producto fresco. Tiene una terraza increíble des de donde se puede apreciar la Medina. Es una autentica maravilla, volvería sin duda.

It was not just politeness, it was substance, warmth, ability, friendliness, respect. Managed by two great guys available 24hours, they could intervene unobtrusively, give knowledgeable good advice when asked and take care of any problems. The Riad itself, an excellent specimen of Moroccan architecture, renovated and decorated with great taste, reflected the culture of the area and its people, supporting all needed facilities including a small Hamam. The location very close to the market and at the same time to the everyday life of the the Medina people.

Riad zamane has all the qualities to be a high level boutique hotel: all the rooms were highly curated and clean. The spa service was easy to book and satisfactory not only for the treatment, which was a great way to relax after a long walk in Fès Medina, but also made better by the kindness of the masseuse staff. Not only was the place great but the wonderful staff made it go above and beyond: they were kind, made sure every guest’s need were satisfied and even arranged a guided tour of Fès through contacts with no added fee for the call.

La struttura è veramente molto bella e ben curata; sia la camera che gli spazi comuni come anche la terrazza sono ampi. La pulizia è perfetta e la colazione ricca. Very clean and beautiful riad in a great place, just at the border of Madina, so we were 2 minutes walk away from the souks and Madina. There are many good rated restaurants and cafeterias very near to the riad. The breakfast was very delicious 😋🤤 Coffee, jams, different kind of breads! The inner yard of the riad was very beautiful, so it's like you are having breakfast in a museum of Arabic arts and architecture 😊 The staff was very helpful and friendly as well, many thanks to Tahir and Hamsa, you guys rock!

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au Riad Zaman. Dès l’arrivée, Tahar et Hamza nous ont accueillis avec une vraie bienveillance : souriants, disponibles, attentifs au moindre détail. Le riad est propre, calme, bien situé pour visiter, et le petit-déjeuner est soigné. Un mot spécial pour leur attention envers mes parents : aide pour les déplacements, rythme adapté, conseils clairs. On s’est sentis en sécurité et réellement pris en charge. Service discret mais efficace, chambres confortables, espaces communs agréables. Merci pour les adresses et réservations qui ont simplifié notre séjour. Nous repartons reposés et reconnaissants. We had a very spacious and beautifully decorated room. Highlights where the Riad decoration in traditional Moroccan design with superb tiles and wood carvings. The staff was very happy to attend any our needs, thank you all, in particular to Tahir that gave us invaluable advice on how to make the most of Fez, advice that is indispensable as Fez is a maze that without the help of a local is not possible to explore. La limpieza, la tranquilidad que se respira y la calidad del servicio fueron excelentes, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue la atención de Hamza. Siempre amable, profesional y atento, se encargó de que todo estuviera perfecto durante nuestra estancia. Su dedicación y cercanía hicieron que nos sintiéramos verdaderamente bienvenidos. Cada mañana comenzaba con un desayuno delicioso, servido en una terraza encantadora. Nos encantó que el zumo fuera distinto cada día, y los sfenj (una especie de porras marroquíes) estaban espectaculares. Sin duda, si volvemos a Fès, lo haremos a este lugar. Totalmente recomendable para quienes buscan una experiencia auténtica y cuidada en todos los detalles.

Riad Zamane Fes was a beautiful Riad in a really central location. The facilities were immaculate, the rooftop had great views of the city. Our room was really lovely and comfortable and the courtyard/balcony was the best place to relax at the end of a busy day. There were a lot of stairs which was concerning for us and our bags but we didn't need to worry they were carried upstairs and downstairs for us. The staff were very helpful providing a map of the area and giving us recommendations on what to do and how we could navigate the medina, they went above and beyond when our 4.30am taxi was running late, communicating with them and reassuring us we will make it to the airport on time.
Cons: The breakfast was very nice but a bit more variety would be welcomed.

My singular worst experience in Morocco and he's the reason why I will never go to a riad or bed and breakfast again. The riad is located at the edge of the Medina and a good place to base in Fez. The managers of the property were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and well decorated and we had a patio to ourselves. The manager packed us a breakfast as we were leaving before the normal breakfast was ready. The common area in the center of the Riad was very beautiful and relaxing.
Cons: The room was on the top floor but the stairs were beautiful and it was not too much trouble to ascend/descend.

La situation est tb à 5 min à pieds de la porte bleue. La riad est magnifique, hyper typique et reposant. Si vous montez tout en haut il y a également une très chouette terrasse. Le personnel est adorable et toujours aux petits soins. Un grand merci à Tahir et sa disponibilité. Le service de hammam et massage est très bien. Un grand merci à Fatima pour ses doigts de fée. Le petit déjeuner est royal : café, thé à la menthe, jus d'orange frais, yaourts, pain, crêpes, mesmen, harcha, confitures, miel... Un régal. Les repas du soir sont également excellent mais légèrement plus cher que dans la Médina ce qui est logique.

Cons: La nostra stanza era al piano terra e non al primo piano. Porta e finestre davano tutte sul giardino interno, lo stesso dove gli ospiti consumano i pasti. A tutela della privacy c'erano delle tende pesanti , ma avrei preferito poter scegliere al momento della prenotazione la posizione della stanza, eventualmente anche pagando un piccolo sovrapprezzo. C'è acqua calda, ma in alcuni momenti del giorno arriva solo dopo la segnalazione al personale. Probabilmente spengono lo scaldabagno quando gli ospiti escono e questo è apprezzabile per la sostenibilità, bisognerebbe però avvisare l'ospite che nel pomeriggio deve chiedere per tempo di accendere lo scaldabagno, altrimenti si rischia di restare a lungo e in vano con l'acqua aperta, in attesa che arrivi quella calda. Siamo stati bene questi sono solo dei suggerimenti di comunicazione, che migliora l'esperienza a mio avviso.

Prima ontbijt Heerlijk dakterras met drie ligbedden en nog een rooftop met uitzicht. Onze dakkamer had een terras met de overburen gescheiden door een schutting/scherm.
Cons: Wel is het matras doorgezakt en is aan vervanging toe. De kledingkast ruikt sterk naar de boenwas? De schoonmaak is prima, maar iets te goed. Al je persoonlijke spullen worden opgeruimd, koffers dicht geritst enz.

El hotel es súper bonito y está muy bien ubicado. A la Medina a pie tardas 5 minutos. Además nuestra habitación era muy espaciosa con una terraza muy bonita. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft sofort Unterstützung von Tahir, um die Kommunikation um das Parken mit dem Parkwächter zu erleichtern, und beim obligatorischen Begrüßungstee bekamen wir sehr gute Tipps für die Sightseeing Tour. Lage ist gut, innerhalb von 5 Gehminuten ist man mitten in der Medina. Typisch marokkanische Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber, die Betten bequem. Schön war auch die große Dachterrasse mit einem wunderbaren Blick über Fes.

Our stay in Riad Zamane Fes was simply fantastic. I was little bit worried as we were 3 woman, but it was not problem at all. Staff was very supportive in all our requests. They arranged pick up from and to airport. Riad was very clean and our room was large and nice. We took Haman and massage and make a bit mess, but Staff every time told us, no problem at all, we are here for you ♥️. Riad is close to Blue Gate (entry to Medina), still in calm position so going out even evening was safe. We highly recommend this place and next time, when we will come to Fes, sure we will come back 👍.

Le Riad est magnifique, nous avons loué 2 nuits dans 2 chambres différentes superbement décorées. Literie confortable, accueil top avec thé, service impeccable. Nous avons pu laisser nos bagages le temps de l’excursion dans le désert. Un rooftop bien agréable pour boire un verre et un repas servi au cœur du Riad typique et bon. Quiet and comfortable. The location worked well. The guides arranged by the hotel were perfect. One of the best days of our trip was spent with Kamal on an all day walking tour of Fez. (Fez isn't a place to explore on your own). We also did a driving tour of the areas around Fez which was excellent. Mohammed was our driver and our guide for Bahlil and Sefrou (I'm afraid I've forgotten his name). Loved seeing the waterfall, caves, synagog and ceramics works.

Zu Fuss ist es in wenigen Minuten möglich, in die Medina zu gelangen, dennoch ist die Lage des Riads ausgesprochen ruhig; was ggf. auch am Monat Januar gelegen haben kann und dennoch die Strasse, etwas abseits gelegen, vermutlich auch in höhenfrequentierten Monaten ruhig.

We had small issue not able to wash our clothes, but staff took us to a local laundry mart 2 mins away from riad and we got our clothes washed and dried in less than two hours. Breakfast is fast and fresh, suggest to have eggs or omelettes for hot breakfast option. Room was spacious and clean, area is very quiet, as long as other guests inside riad is not having a party, you will have a good night sleep for sure. We enjoyed our stay there and thank you very much!

This Riad in Fes was beautifully presented and maintained. It had the authentic Moroccan ambiance with beautiful furnishings and details as shown in the site. Both Tahir and Hamza were very welcoming and helpful to see to all our needs and questions. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean and modern. The hamman and massage experience was very private and amazing. We were treated to lovely breakfasts with an lively cook, Fatima, it felt like we were in a warm and friendly home. The only issue was getting to the Riad from the main road-access is limited as we needed to carry or roll all our luggage for quite a while. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

Toute l'équipe est adorable et aux petits soins, le petit déj est copieux et les chambres sont spacieuses et très joliment décorées. Nous avons profité des services hammam et massage dont nous avons été très contents. La terrasse sur le toit est aussi très agréable (en février) et ensoleillée, avec de jolis cactus. Bref, ce fut un plaisir, parfait pour se reposer, nous recommandons à 100 % !

Wat een fantastische Riad gerund door Fatima en Karim. Niets is teveel. Snelle reactie van Fatima als je een vraag stelt. Hele fijne taxi chauffeurs en goed guids geregeld door Fatima tijdens onze bezoeken aan de verschillende uitjes. Mooie ruime kamer en zeer schoon! Ontbijt elke dag vers gemaakt.
Cons: Wellicht iets Marokkaans maar als je om 8.30 uur komt ontbijten dan duurt het nog 15-20 minuten voordat het ontbijt geserveerd wordt. Rekening mee houden als je op een bepaalde tijd wordt opgehaald voor dag trip.

Beautiful Riad, very traditional and authentic with all the modern convenience to make a comfortable stay. The staff, Tahir and Hamza were so welcoming and helpful with warm hospitality that it felt like home. They arranged our hammam and massage appointments according to our schedule and went out of their way for us, even took care of our laundry, delivered, folded the next day. Room was clean,beautifully appointed, bed was very comfortable and breakfast was fabulous. The only caveat was the distance to get to the riad with luggage as cars must be parked far away. This is the sacrifice we realized ,one must make to say within these historical gems, deep inside the old medinas. It's all part of the authentic experience, and ell worth it. Just a note, there are cats everywhere, so, with my allergies, I had to be a bit careful!

Location was excellent and Zakaria was very helpful and kind to help us out with small requests. Breakfast was okay but the hospitality was very good so it overshadows the small things. The cab service booked by the Riad (Fatima) works very well and makes is easy to reach the place. The cab service was from professional company and were even happy to wait to pick up lunch during out return.
Cons: The breakfast got monotonous after 2 days and I understand this is standard in all Riads but would be great to have some meat like products to add savory variety like salami or sausages etc, Otherwise it feels like it was variety of breads and not much protein. I do understand this is usual Morrocco breakfast and this is just a suggestion. General comment for Riads, dont compare with hotels as this is a different experience.

We loved our stay, our room was excellent. Spacious with a large, most comfortable bed and pillows. Did not want to get up in the morning. Room was warm without heating even when 3° overnight. Storage and places galore to put your stuff. Location very handy to everything. The staff are great, welcoming and friendly. My wife was keen to get a brass soap dish the same as in our room, Hamza went to try and locate one for us which we really appreciate. We would definitely recommend Riad Zamane

We had a terrible experience at the Riad Zamane. Upon reviewing its Booking page, we were impressed by the pictures and its 9.3 grade, but don’t be fooled. I was travelling with my son and my daughter for two nights in Fes. There was no hot water the whole time while temperatures ranged from 5 to 18 degrees Celsius. This was a surprise to us, and while they promised to fix it and call us when it was ready, we spent hours in the hotel waiting. At 9PM, 4h later, I decided to ask them what was going on. The issue would not be fixed, and the staff did not even mind calling us to report that. Therefore, we were left to have a cold shower. The following days, we were able to take a hot shower in the room unoccupied by guests in the terrace. While the room was well-decorated and cozy, one of the three beds was uncomfortable. As for the breakfast, it is good, with traditional breads been served, a fruit, juice, coffee and tea. That being said, we asked for some water, which, mind you, is charged, even though you are eating the included breakfast of the hotel. I will also highlight that they offered no help with our tourism, such as suggesting attractions to visit, help with the taxi to the airport, etc. As we were checking out we were charged an aggressive exchange rate – 8% above what any other place does, at 11 dirhams to an Euro. Second, nothing at all was offered to compensate for the hot water problem (not even some coffee, a hammam, a massage, anything would do it). The staff was kind, especially the waiter/do-it-all that served us breakfast. I am not one to give out bad reviews. All in all, a frustrating experience in Fes (we had much better experiences in Marrakech and Chefchaouen).

Como ponto de melhoria sugiro o café da manhã (que é maravilhoso) começar mais cedo, 8:30 para muitos turistas é muito tarde. O ideal seria 7:30. Achamos o quarto muito frio em janeiro mesmo com aquecedor (o mesmo desarmava). Voltaria a me hospedar e recomendo demais esse Riad. Lindíssimo.

This place was really beautiful from the moment we entered, really traditional and special and beautifully appointed. Our room was on the roof which meant it was very quiet and private with its own private outdoor area. The dinner was just lovely and served in the middle of the riad which was beautiful. Breakfast was also very good and the service/people very helpful and lovely.
Cons: It was a long way up to our room, but then that is the nature of a riad. No complaints from us.

Very much enjoyed our short stay - very nice hotel near the entrance to the Medina, so access from our car was easy. Note that if you want to have dinner there, one needs to give them notice early in the day or they may not be able to accommodate you with a full meal. Good to know because dining options in the Medina itself seem limited.

This is a beautiful Riad. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and absolutely beautiful. We loved the Moroccan breakfast which included a homemade sweet potato spread that was delicious with bread. Highly recommend staying here when in Fes.

The Riad location and facility are as expected.
Cons: The breakfast selection is limited, only bread and eggs, coffee and juice. Also, I have a weird encounter during payment time. When I paid for my stay at Riad Zamane, Fatima, the manager, told me that I can only pay in cash because the internet connection isn’t good and I can’t pay in credit card. She then handed me a bill and it was converted from euro to Moroccan dirhams, she said I can either pay in euros or in Moroccan dirhams which has been converted in a higher conversion rate. 1€ to 11DH because booking.com is using 1 to 11 conversion rate. I then asked her to charge me through booking.com with the euro rate and she said she couldn’t do so. I ended up paying extra 13€ due to poor conversion rate. I feel like being scammed and Riad is dishonest about it. If credit card is being held as booking method, they should be able to charge through booking.com. Or they should have at least notified me via email about bringing cash and conversion rate ahead of time.

Le riad est très bien situé proche de la médina et de la porte bleu. Le personnel est très serviable et souriant. Nous avons souhaité changer de chambre la suite sako étant directement sur l espace de vie principal et Kenza et Fatima ont tout fait pour nous changer en cours de séjour. Le repas et les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux avec un service soigné. Le hammam et massage top pour la détente c était très appréciable. On ne peut que recommander et y retourner pour un prochain séjour.
Cons: Rien tout à été parfait et notre insatisfaction à été réglé rapidement même si la suite sako était très spacieuse.

The room was dark and gloomy and the lights were not bright enough. They also kept the lights in the stairway off which was inconvenient and frustrating because it was difficult to see our way. I had to always turn them back on and they would turn them off immediately. The window shutters opened to the courtyard, so we could hear all the sounds from below and the kitchen, which was distracting at nighttime and provided little privacy. The toilet seat of the bathroom was off-kilter, and the structure of the bathroom was narrow and awkward. The sink had a slow clog, and when we reported it to them, they said it's normal and that it will drain slowly. When they cleaned our room, they plugged the drains of the sink and tub again, and we asked them to remove it because it stopped the flow of water. The advertisement said there were 1 king bed and 2 twin beds, but there was only 1 twin bed and 1 sofa. The breakfast started late (8 am), which was not ideal for us because we wanted an early start to our day. The dinner food we ordered was extremely salty and otherwise not tasty. It felt like a waste of our money. Overall, the property was not as comfortable as I'd wanted it to be. The safe in our room did not work. With some improvements to their amenities, I think we could have enjoyed our stay more. The beds did have good mattresses, though which were comfortable.

Ce que je retiendrai de ce riad est le massage incroyable de Saaadiha (désolée pour l'orthographe approximative) aux mains d'or! Le personnel était aux petits soins tout au long du séjour. Le riad est magnifique, la terrasse très agréable, la chambre 4 personnes spacieuse et décorée avec beaucoup de soins. La literie etait confortable. Quel bonheur !

Very beautiful riad, we absolutely loved it! Our room was also very spacious and beautiful. The hotel offered good private day tours. We took a private half day walking tour in old Medina, which cost 250dh for 2 person. Friendly staff!
Cons: Even though we asked and were told that we can pay by card they still wanted cash though we used 1000dh for their services :( We had to contact the director ourselves and only after that the card machine worked the next day. The other thing is that even though we liked the massage, the atmosphere was unprofessional; windows open and noisy street, staff's phones beeping and staff chatting during our treatment. Not so relaxing experience though the massage itself was really good. Third thing; their ride services are so high :( They offered a pickup from the train station for 100dh which is 5 times more than we paid for petit taxi.

The location was just perfect! I was traveling by car, and my main concern was where to park in the Medina. The parking on the street (2mins walk from riad) was very safe, guys who were looking after the car they helped a lot with my 4 luggages and brought them to the riad. Riad itself was beautiful and clean. Additionally I want to thank Ismail who was so kind! He also helped to bring luggage upstairs to our room (3rd floor). Very happy with my choice of this Riad!

They booked a tour without our approval and we had to pay 200 Dirhams half of the tour they plan for us . It doesn’t worth the money . Location was a bit far from the Madina but we were able to walk to the central bazar in 15 minutes or so through winding roads. I was expecting a more central location. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and suggested an excellent restaurant to eat at.
Cons: Location could certainly have been better, we requested an extra bottle of water and had to pay for it double the price outside. We did not order dinner for our first night and none was available as they told me that they have to book a chef and only do so if a guest has pre-requested food, meaning there was no resident cook.

Riad Zamane takes you to the 13th century with its spacious courtyard, opulent and gigantic cedar wood doors and intricate designed windows. This is not far from the Medina (10 minutes walking distance), and is in close proximity to the souks, convenience stores, restaurants and pharmacies. The morning breakfast spread was elaborate and wholesome. Our caretaker cum chef, Zakaria was an excellent guy and very helpful.

Nous avons séjourné en famille dans la suite Warda, d'abord 5 nuits puis nous sommes revenus pour 2 nuits supplémentaires qui n'étaient pas prévues dans notre programme initial. Le Ryad est très joli, bien situé, la propreté y est irréprochable, la literie est confortable, la décoration est magnifique. Nous nous sommes senti vite comme chez nous, en sécurité et ce qui a surtout fait la différence c'est l’accueil de l'ensemble de l'équipe qui s'est occupé de nous durant toute la durée de notre séjour en toute bienveillance. Le petit déjeuner est savoureux et copieux. Nous conseillons le massage et le hammam fait par Fatima-Zahra qui est très expérimentée, un moment de bonheur et de détente dont j'ai pu conserver les bénéfices durant plusieurs jours. La cuisine de Bouchra est au moins à découvrir une fois, ce sont des plats locaux fait maison, un délice. Un énorme merci à toute l'équipe, Fatima, Zakaria, Fatima-Zahra, Ismaïl et Bouchra qui ont mis tout en œuvre pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Nous gardons de très bons souvenirs de notre séjour. Nous reviendrons assurément dans ce Ryad lors de notre prochaine visite à Fès.
Cons: Nous n'avons rien noté de particulier. Une suggestion d'amélioration : Égayer le coin "bureau" où se trouvent les vitrines au RDC.

Cons: Notre expérience a été quelque peu perturbée par des travaux bruyants ( au marteau piqueur) de 14h00 à 19h00, un détail qui, s’il avait été communiqué à l’avance, aurait certainement influencé notre choix de réservation. Le petit-déjeuner n’a pas été à la hauteur de nos attentes. Nous aurions aimé déguster un petit-déjeuner typiquement fassi, avec du khli3 et des fruits, plutôt que les options proposées.

The riad does not have a lift but the staff help to bring luggage up to your room. We were at the highest level so the climb was steep but the riad is comfy and amazing. The breakfast is good and they offer scrambled eggs or omelette, bunch of breads/cake, variety of spreads and orange juice with tea or coffee.
Cons: The scrambled eggs were very little, maybe more eggs could be used. no mineral water is provided too unfortunately but there are shops abt 3-5 mins away.

I recommend this Riad for beauty, cleanliness, delicious breakfast and above all professional and empathic staff. In particular, thanks to Fatima, who managed to coordinate the shipment to Milan with my courier of a ring with affective value invaluable, that I forgot in the Riad. So the Riad is run by people with gracious and honest.

We loved our stay! My family of 4 boys, with ages ranging from 11-21 years, and my wife had a relaxing, learning, and fun experience in Fes. The staff and Riad ambience was exceptional. Zakariya is the star, however all other staff members, Ismael and the 2 housekeeping ladies were very polite and ready to serve and assist. We had to book an additional night at the Riad, and the staff were very accommodating. Zakariya is very resourceful and he referred us to a learned and scholarly tour guide who is a gem himself, and he explained and showed us the gems in Fes. The rooms are clean, comfortable and massive. The bathrooms are clean with all the amenities.
Cons: Can’t think of anything, although they ran out of lamb for the tajine, but they were able to serve delicious chicken tajine with couscous.

Location was great. The male staff who helped us was friendly, kind and patient. He was very helpful and always looking to make our stay better. They were one of the few places serving beer and wine.
Cons: We were there for 4 nights and the evening before we were to leave we asked to settle the bill as we were leaving early the next day. This is when we were told we had to pay in cash. At this point it is late, and being our last day we were limited on our cash and in some cases had already hit our debit limit. We tried to gather what cash we had left and asked for a discount. No such luck. We explained we were not able to pay in cash and said we could contact Booking to have them charge us. Suddenly they were able to pay with a credit card and Fatima would be bringing the machine over that evening, but she INSISTED we pay the taxes and for our extras like beer and water with cash only. We would’ve been open to paying with cash had it been approached earlier, and we did not at all appreciate the stress this added and how rude and unaccommodating Fatima was about the entire situation. It left us with such a negative feeling about the experience and after staying at another riad the next night realized just how not particularly professional or quality Riad Zamane and Spa was. It left us disappointed and looking back quite negatively on our time there.

Nicely appointed traditional, spacious rooms. Very nice warm welcome with mint tea. Great english speaking host with excellent directions and local tips. Just located outside the old town (medina). I only stayed a night and left very early so I did not experience the full breakfast but they did prepare a very basic takeaway for me.
Cons: No complaints. Bit tricky to find with a door knock so a door bell would have been great.

This is a very nice place. Good location. The Riad it self is very beautiful and they attend their guests very well. The staff there are excellent, absolutely lovely people. If we had questions, they resolved everything for us immediatly. Nice beds. Nice breakfast. This place is a solid choice for those who like to visit Fes and visit the old medina.

Le personnel est à l’écoute, bienveillant et de très bons conseils. Nous avons eu droit à un petit déjeuner à emporter la nuit de notre départ. Vraiment exceptionnel. Le Riad est magnifique, propre, les chambres sont spacieuses. Nos petits déjeuners étaient copieux et savoureux.
Cons: Le manque de lumière naturelle dans notre chambre mais c’est vraiment pour être tatillon.

Even on the last day when we had to leave early to catch our train, the staff came in early to get our breakfast ready, and arranged our taxi. Lovely large bedroom and sitting area. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis dans ce splendide Riad. La suite Safir nous a littéralement émerveillés. Dotée d'un confortable lit faisant face à trois immenses fenêtres offrant une vue sur un patio superbement décoré, elle était tout simplement époustouflante. Le doux murmure d'une petite fontaine au centre ajoutait une touche de sérénité à l'ensemble. Le personnel était aux petits soins, et Fatima nous a prodigué de précieux conseils tout au long de notre séjour. Nous avons également grandement apprécié les services proposés : - Taxis pour venir nous chercher à l'aéroport de Fès - Dîner le premier soir, (vins à la carte) - Massage en Duo Tout était parfaitement orchestré pour rendre notre expérience mémorable.

Everything was perfect, Fatima and Karim went out of their way to make sure our staying was amazing! The room was really spacious, and the bathroom with the bathtub and the bidet (really like home!). We had dinner in the riad one night and the food was delicious, as well as the breakfast! We will definitely be back in this riad ❤️

The property is close to the entry of the Medina. The riad has a lovely central courtyard with fountain, comfortable seating and dining tables. Our room (Ambre) was large and comfortable. The whole riad is very clean. The bed is big and comfy. I had a massage which was reasonably priced and so convenient inside the riad - very relaxing and professional. Breakfast is plentiful and freshly cooked. Dinner is on request and was also plentiful and delicious. The staff are friendly and kind. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Zamane. * note - payment is only by cash*
Cons: The host was difficult to communicate with prior to arrival. The wifi is erratic in the room but fine in the courtyard if really needed. The Ambre room faces the laneway and can be noisy from passing pedestrians and motorbikes. We closed the windows and put the airconditioning on and this helped with the noise. You can request a room that faces inwards to the courtyard, this would be quieter.

Hermoso Riad, renovado con mucho criterio, muy bien cuidado y limpio, y con mucha atención a los detalles. Muy acogedor, consta solo de 6 habitaciones, y muy cercano a la puerta azul de la medina.
Cons: Todo muy bien. Solo notar que el parking es público, para estacionar el coche en la acera sobre una calle estrecha. El parking privado (al aire libre) está ubicado a unos 5 minutos de caminata.

Cons: Très mauvais. Nous sommes restés a la porte sonner pendant un bon moment avant que quelqu'un vienne nous ouvrir la porte. Finalement, une fois entrés, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise d'apprendre que l'une des chambres que nous avions réservé via booking a été donnée à d'autres personnes, et que toutes les autres chambres étaient occupées. La réceptionniste a été non professionnelle et s'est contenté de dire un désolé timide sans prendre la peine de nous donner une autre alternative. Venant de loin, nous avons galeré pour trouver un autre endroit, alors que ce n'était même pas notre faute et qu'on a eu la confirmation de booking. Nous avons trouvé un endroit meilleur et nous nous sommes dit que riad zamane n'était finalement pas un bon choix, on ne vous le recommande pas, spécialement après notre rencontre avec la réceptionniste hyper désagréable

Almost everything The Riad is very beautiful in perfect location next to the Medina. There is super roof top terrace. Very clean And the staff nice and polite . The Riad is easy to reach even though it’s next to Medina and parking is next to it. The staff will help you with it.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit poor with very limited options. The time for serving dinner very limited . It would be nice to seat at the terrace and have a drink or coffee but not such an option. It’s a pity

Wir würden herzlich empfangen. Das Riad ist ruhig am Rande der Medina gelegen. Das Frühstück war lecker, die Zimmer sehr sauber. Besonders schön waren die große Terrasse und das Wellnessangebot. Ich habe eine sehr gute Massage genossen.
Cons: Alles Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Es wäre toll gewesen, wenn man etwas länger als „nur“ bis 10 Uhr hätte frühstücken können. Eine Minibar auf dem Zimmer oder die Möglichkeit, kalte Getränke zu bestellen wären nett gewesen.

Cons: Un día nos prepararon el desayuno para llevar porque teníamos una excursión y eso es positivo. Se agradece el detalle y aún entendiendo lo complicado que es hacer un desayuno para llevar, podría mejorarse bastante.

Das Frühstück war das Beste, was wir in Marokko hatten. Sehr frisch und relativ abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Fatima und Zakaria haben uns sehr nett aufgenommen. Wir haben als Paar auch Hammam gemacht. Das war wirklich außergewöhnlich gut. Die Massage hinterher war auch schön. Der Innenhof ist ohne Frage ein Traum.
Cons: Die Dusche hatte leider keinen Vorhang, sodass das Bad beim Duschen leicht überflutet wurde. Für große Menschen besteht das Risiko sich an einer Kante innerhalb der Dusche den Kopf zu stoßen. Nachts war es trotz der kleinen Gasse, in der das Riad gelegen ist, recht laut, da das Badezimmer direkt zur Gasse liegt.
