What a wonderful experience. The Riad is a small hidden gem with incredible service. From check in to check out Sofien took such good care of our entire group of 10. Our stay was made infinitely better because of him. I would be remiss if I didn’t say something about the included breakfast there was so much food and everything was delicious.

Perfect location. About 8 minute walk to the square. Even though it is close to lots of action, it is located down the alley and very quiet. Delicious breakfast. The two hosts spoke great English, were very friendly and extremely helpful

Beautiful place. Very convenient location. Very warm and welcoming staff. Not much selection for breakfast, but love the breads, and the delicious jams that came with the bees. Lol and surely do appreciate the hospitality. Plenty of nice spaces to lounge in. I love that they cleaned our room everyday. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to other people. Nous avons opté pour le transfert depuis l’aéroport. Arrivés sur place, le Riad étant inaccessible pour les voitures, un homme équipé d’une charette et travaillant avec l'établissement a pris nos valises et nous a guidés jusqu’au Riad. Après 3 minutes de marche dans les effervescentes rues de la médina, nous arrivions dans ce lieu de calme et de toute beauté. Un thé et des gâteaux nous sont proposés devant la fontaine, le temps de faire le Check in. Guidés ensuite vers la suite Sultana nous avons découvert toute la beauté, le confort et la propreté de ce lieu. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très copieux. Nous avons dîné une fois sur place et nous sommes régalés. Le personnel est extrêmement attentif mais très discret à la fois. Nous avons parfois eu des demandes spéciales pour lesquelles le personnel a dès que possible proposé une solution. Le riad est très bien situé, tous nos déplacements se sont faits à pied. Si nous revenons à Marrakech c’est la bas que nous séjournerons.

This place is a jewel. Right in the centre of Marrakech and yet an oasis of peace and calm beauty. The riad itself is stunning: charming, elegant, traditional and comfortable. The staff are SO attentive and helpful. If I ever return to Marrakech, I WILL stay at Samsli. I cannot recommend it enough.

When we first arrived in Marrakech, the chaos was a little overwhelming. We dipped through the streets and when we arrived at Samsli we were greeted warmly by Soufiyan with mint tea and biscuits. The place is stunning! Our room was just enough for two travellers. Soufiyan and co were incredibly hospitable and friendly, going out of their way to make sure our stay was lovely, they couldnt do enough for us in terms of recommendations and refreshments. I would recommend Samsli to anybody looking to be in the heart of Medina whilst still having a relaxing time. The noise of the city cannot be heard at the riad, whilst still being a short walk away from everything. A beautiful rooftop and lovely breakfast every day was an amazing way to start our days. Would stay again!

Great location for the Centre on town and easy to get everywhere as a base, very clean and amazing breakfast cooked by Milolida, The stuff were so friendly and helpfully and even walked us to the taxi on our last day where they had helped us arrange a driver to take us to the mountains and drop off at the airport in the evening, fabulous service. An amazing oasis in a busy city, the staff were welcoming and friendly, helping with any questions we had and organising taxis and tours for us. We ate at the Riad on our first night and had a huge tagine, so big we couldn’t finish it. Our rooms were functional, clean and comfortable.

We had a perfect stay at Rıad Samsli. It was spotless and the breakfast was more than ample , all home made wıth fresh orange juıce each mornıng. We had breakfast on roof terrace and ın breakfast room. There was shower gels and soaps ın bathroom and one bathrobe. The young lady supervısor was charmıng . There was a young man workıng at nıght, he helped us plan our route. The Rıad gave us a key to let ourselves ın and organısed taxıs to/ from aırport, well worth ıt( 15 euros each way) A great , safe locatıon to sıght see from . 5 mıns from El Jema and 10 from palace. Would hıghly recommend Thank you, Rıad Samsli and your professıonal staff.

The hotel is clean and staff is great. Breakfast was ok, but not many options. Any luggage more than a backpack is hard to transport there as cars can’t get in, roads are not smooth. It’s like a little maze to get to the hotel. There are locals around offering to help carry luggage for $5-$10. Area is good for shopping and dining. It felt safe but I’d choose to stay in a different area next time, more accessible.

Riad Samsli is a lovely, quiet, well run Riad, in the heart of the Medina. It would be hard to imagine you could improve substantively on what is on offer here. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and all are lovely people, and the Riad feels welcoming and safe, a real home from home. I would happily return here and loved every minute of my stay.

The room itself however was small yet clean and well decorated. Overall a good stay however would not book again simply down to the beds.

Bon sejour au Riad Samsli. Bon accueil du personnel toujours disponible. Excellents repas et petits déjeuners , relativement copieux. Chambres propres et confortables ( 2 suites ) , idem pour les SDB , manque juste de quoi poser ses serviettes après la douche. Très beau riad , bien rénové , décoré et meublé avec beaucoup de goût. Plusieurs salons confortables dedans et sur la terrasse et surtout un super rooftop bien aménagé. Situation parfaite dans la médina, mais très calme , 10mns a pieds des Palais Badi , Bahia , de la Place Jema El Fnaa et à 5mn des souks .

This is a great Riad, easy to find, nearby everything, restaurants, cafes, shops, touristic attractions, and the Riad itself, very clean, quiet, food is good and staff are very welcoming, friendly, caring and respectful. They make you feel like they are hosting you at their house on how caring they are. I love this place, we will definitely go back and highly recommended.

My stay at Riad Samsli was beyond amazing. From the loveliness of the riad, the cleanliness and decor of the room, the breakfast in the mornings and the friendliness of the staff. It went beyond my expectations. I felt like the riad was my own home. I even had a tour get cancelled last minute due to unforseen weather and i notified the riad staff late last minute - not only did the staff sete up on another organized excursion for early the next morning, they even found another interested guest to join me and share the cost and experience. I also had to lunch meals there and they were the best meals I had from anywhere during my time in Morocco. I would be so happy to return to Marrakech again just to come and stay again at this lovely place. Thank you my Moroccan family!

Destacar en este aspecto, que tuvimos un desafortunado inconveniente pero que tanto el responsable como el chico que trabaja allí, perdón porque no recuerdo su nombre, un gran trabajador y mejor persona hicieron todo lo posible para solucionarlo. Incluso añadir que este mismo chico nos acompañó a las 5:30 horas al punto de recogida de nuestros traslado al aeropuerto. Al final, es lo que se tiene que valorar de los sitios.

Ich war das erste Mal in Marrakesh und hab mich gegen ein Hotel und für ein Riad entschieden. Die Lage in der Medina ist fantastisch man erreicht alles ohne Umwege. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich, hab gleich einen Tee bekommen. Es gibt zwei Innenhöfe, einen mit Pool. Die Dachterasse ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer ist einfach aber sehr gemütlich mit großem Bad. Es gibt keine AC aber der Ventilstor reicht. Ich hatte nur ein leichtes Frühstück mit allem was es braucht. Würde immer wieder kommen.

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Good advice about what to do and where to go. Location is great. Just remember you cannot get a taxi to the front door of this property. It's in a narrow alleyway so you'll have to do some walking. Make sure you know the exact location of the Riad. Room was basic, but comfortable and clean. It could do with a little bit of maintenance. The room I was in didn't have air conditioning. Just a fan, that was a bit noisy on the faster settings. The design on Riads is so good that they keep out a lot of the heat though, so it never felt unbearably hot. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh, hot bread every morning. It's disappointing that they charge extra for bottled water. They give you a small bottle for free on the first night, but thereafter you'll be charged. Given the tap water is of dubious quality I think a small bottle of water for at least brushing your teeth would be adequate. I'd definitely stay here again.

Polite and helpful staff. Quite weak water pressure in showers and half blocked drains. Overall acceptably clean. Ok-ish breakfast.

This was my first Riad and it was a very pleasurable experience. Greeted with some great mint tea, getting situated and settled into the room and Riad was very smooth. It is a an amazing place from the rooftop to the whole inside of the Riad. Very attentive staff that helped when needed, otherwise felt like a private home even with other guests there.

Staff was friendly (they prepared some breakfast for me to take early in the morning on my last day). Overall, had a nice experience. Would prefer better breakfast options, on the healthy side, and served at earlier hours.

The property is a beautifully renovated riad, a very tranquil environment including some lovely larks (birds) and mature plants that add to the peaceful feel of the riad. The staff are professional and very helpful. The riad is exceptionally clean and the rooms are particularly comfortable , the whole place is a traditional style riad , and i do recommend you stay here if you are looking for this experience...the breakfast is also good , omellete , fresh banana cake , banan smoothy, fresh pomegranate, coffee tea .very happy.

The staff were some of the most helpful and welcoming I have experienced. To top it all off we had a couple incredible dinners. The chef is outstanding!

Terrace was a wonderful spot to rest and relax, tv room and gathering spaces throughout. Front door is a little hard to find, but called and they came to find us. I spent 3 nights at the Riad. Hafid was a great host and was very helpful. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. We had dinner at the Riad two of the nights and highly recommend it. The food was fantastic. My friend had a massage too and she loved it and it was good value for money. Overall I think it’s a great option if you want to experience the heart of Marrakech and I would definitely stay again.

This riad was absolutely magnificent. I loved every aspect of it. My room was spacious and elaborately furnished with beautiful artwork, tile work, and intricate design throughout. The pure essence of Morocco took center stage. The staff was impeccable. Housekeeping was cleaning constantly. There was not one flower or pillow out of place. Breakfast service was delicious and served in the garden. Fresh squeezed orange juice with homemade cakes and M’smen were my favorites along with the rich fruit preserves. The location was terrific, on a quiet street in the Medina, but only a few minutes walk to the bustling Jemma el Fna square. I will definitely return to Riad Samsli on my furture returns to Marrakech.

I tralvel alot and this is my first time trying what is called Riad, and it was great experience, i loved everything about it, specially the staff they were the best, extremely friendly, specially Hafeez, Mohammad and Lea who was there on internship and all the other staff, try it and you'll love it as much as i did

I have just returned from a ten day stay at Riad Samsli and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The riad is tastefully decorated and has wonderful original art on the walls. The days were hot and sunny and since the evenings were cool the fireplace in one of the living rooms was lit for us to warm up and relax. We had two good meals at the riad that can be ordered in advance . The rooftop terrace is great for sunbathing . Breakfast is served on the terrace as well. The staff are ready to help and make you feel at home. It is also in a good location and quiet.
