We liked: breakfast, nice location in the centre of Medina, rooftop, massage hammam.
Cons: We did get the worst room in the whole place right next to the reception. There we cockroaches in the room !!!!! We had to kill first one first night, second one the second. This is disgusting. Upon telling the receptionist about it he told the do spray against then and asked my girl for her ig WTF ???!!! On the second instance we rather didnt even bother telling it. The room was loud even for rihad standarts the receptionist instead of queting the question did talk and sing ? With them at times like midnight 1am. The room was insanely humid like in a sauna. Upon arriving there was no one to properly show us around. There was really nice lady in the kitchen which tried her best but didnt speak english. Eventualy she did give us the manager on land line to speak to him. Iam really sorry but the room at the ground floor next to the reception is really bad.

Cons: Il faut faire très attention à cet établissement et au personnel, notamment le gérant. En effet ils ont pris ma carte bancaire ( qui sert de garantie pour la réservation) pour payer la chambre d’un autre client. Du coup j’ai payé deux réservations. L’erreur peut arriver me dira-t-on, mais cela fait 4 mois que j’attends mon remboursement et le responsable, malgré ces dires ne l’a jamais effectué. Manquer de respect et voler ses clients cela est juste intolérable et inadmissible.

Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk welkom geheten met thee. De riad is schitterend ingericht en erg schoon. De centrale ligging en zo rustig kunnen slapen is uniek in het bruisende Marrakech. Zelden zo'n pareltje gehad in een drukke stad. Kat Lala is ook zo sociaal. Als ik terug zou keren naar Marrakech kies ik absoluut voor deze accommodatie.

The room, the staff, and the location were top notch. Would def stay again. And out of all the places I stayed this place was the only place that actually matched the pictures. Was a great way to end my holiday. The team did a great job welcoming me and making me feel like everything was taken care of.
Cons: Everything was great except a few things with the room were off like socket covers missing or toilet paper dispenser loose. But really small things. Main issue I had was the massage was good but could have been exceptional. The room/rooms were too cold to perform the service and didnt heat up until about halfway through. took the relax out of it. A bit of prep could have fixed these issues! Great value for money if done well but in this case would have had a massage elsewhere.

Location was great. Hosts we're polite and nice.
Cons: They told us to have a new year's dinner for 25€ and ended up saying that we "misheard them" and that it was now 35€. Very lame excuse. Dinner was great but try to scam some extra euros from it is a bit sad. Room was also incredibly tiny and with big windows that did not give too much privacy ( the windows were from floor to ceiling and Infront of the shower).

At this time of my visit to Morocco I stayed three different Riad around the same area and this Riad was worst experience but the most expensive one. Least luxury atmosphere, poor breakfast of all, water dripping from the roof hence the coldest room. I wish I knew this so that I could have avoided.
Cons: As I noted above, way too expensive for what they can offer. Least riad of my stay. Poor breakfast, poor service, zero recommendations of city was given, a staff were sleeping over night at the lounge. A rip off!

Les hôtes sont exceptionnels, agréables, attentionnés, joyeux.. l’emplacement est parfait, plein centre de la médina mais en même temps au calme. Les massages sont à tester, surtout après une journée de marche à arpenter les rues de Marrakech et ses nombreux joyaux. Les chambres sont confortables et chaleureuses. La restauration sur place était très bien, avec des petits déjeuners très bon et un repas le soir généreux. Nous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés !

Riad veramente stupendo e curato nei minimi dettagli, la stanza era molto confortevole e con una doccia spaziosa. Lo staff è stato accogliente e impeccabile, oltre che offrirci spesso il tè alla menta e i dolcetti tipici appena arrivati. Molto disponibili anche per stamparci il boarding pass al ritorno, e organizzarci lo spostamento dall’aeroporto al Riad e viceversa. Colazione eccezionale, consiglio assolutamente.

En primer lugar la ubicación, super cerca de la plaza del ilfina, el recibimiento del personal que nos recibió con muchísima amabilidad y nos hizo sentir como en casa, nos invitaron a un delicioso Té con dulces típicos de Marruecos, nos atendieron como familia, es precioso el riad, las habitaciones, la terraza, el hamam la zona de masajes es todo precioso!!! Volveremos a alojarnos muy pronto con más familia!!! Unos grandes anfitriones , el Sr Mustafá, Sr Ali, Sr Mohamed y las SRAS muy buenas y atentas también!!! Un fuerte abrazo para todos el equipo de parte de Fadua y Esteban!!! Nos vemos muy pronto. Muchísimas gracias por todo!!!!

Wow. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, frisch und super lecker. Großes Lob geht an das Personal und an den Gastgeber. Sehr freundlich für jede Frage offen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt. Das Riad liegt in einer sehr zentralen Lage. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen.

it was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice and we ate on the terrace. Not suitable for those with accessibility or mobility issues and this hadn't been mentioned. We are ok but would not suit all.
Cons: really really hard to find, whilst the location was good when you got there it was almost impossible to find. Would be better to have full instructions to where to go when dropped off by the taxi. We had a ground floor room with no view.

Tutto. Il personale è stato gentilissimo fin dal primo momento e sono sempre stati molto disponibili nei nostri confronti. La posizione è ottima, siamo riusciti a spostarci con molta facilità, senza mai avere problemi e la strada in cui si trova è facilmente accessibile e senza brutte sorprese. La colazione ottima. La struttura è pulita e ben organizzata. Una cosa che vorrei sottolineare è il modo in cui trattano gli animali, hanno mostrato attenzione e cura anche per i gatti abbandonati fuori dal Riad (cosa più unica che rara in una città come Marrakech). Consiglio vivamente di andare in questo Riad, meritano ogni centesimo e anche di più.

The riad is located in a quiet alley of the Place Jemaa el-Fnaa. It is very convenient & direct access to the square. The staff are very helpful & friendly. They are very attentive & takes care of your stay to make you feel safe & comfortable. They provide local homemade breakfast. I was travelling alone when I first arrived. The airport transfer arranged by the hotel was good. My friend joined me a few days after I arrived. The riad gave us a surprise upgrade to a suite. It was very thoughtful of them. The riad has Hammam & spa. But we did not try it. After a long day, you are always welcomed by the friendly staff who is on duty, Ali & Lahsen (if I spelled it correctly). The manager, Simo was my point of contact whenever I needed any help or advice. He is very prompt & accommodating. The riad serves very good Moroccan mint tea. As the riad is in the square, cars are not accessible between 1 pm to 5 am. When I had to leave for my flight at 3 am from the riad, the staff on duty made sure he accompanied me to the taxi by walking me to the designated pick up. It was a nice gesture as I am a solo female traveller. That also made me feel safe. In general, Morocco is safe and people are friendly & helpful. Alhamdullilah! I am very grateful for the great experience.
Cons: I have no issue with the property. Perhaps just a minor comment about the suite. The stairs leading to the bathroom needed repair. And the ceiling was peeling. It is just some details that needed to be addressed for future improvement.

Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the staff was super unhelpful and even rude. The breakfast was very poor and we didn’t like it at all. Totally not worth it. They asked us what time we are coming back home because they didn’t give us a key to the main entrance and the reception wasn’t 24/7. They were bothered because we woke them up to open the door and we sat 30 minutes in front of the door, multiple nights, for them to open and when they did they were still irritated. On top of that on the last day I had a friend coming to help me with my luggage and they wouldn’t let him upstairs because he was Moroccan although the room was paid for 2 people and my friend already left. Plus I am allowed to bring whoever I want. The reception man became verbally aggressive with me and didn’t even help with my luggage. They being you water in the room daily and at the end they charge you 20€ for it (for 2 bottles). This was outrageous.

Wonderful experience staying at Bamboo Suites & Spa. Ali and Youssef made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of good advice on what to do and how to get there. The riad is beautiful, calm and peaceful and yet located right in the heart of the medina. We were also lucky enough to have the traditional hammam and massage without leaving the Riad as it has its very own 2-person hammam. Very good value - would highly recommend!

With a little hammam/massage facility also on the roof. Fabulous location & all of the staff were so lovely, friendly & full of advice.

We tested multiple riads in Marrakech, and the riad Bamboo Suite and Spa was our favorite for the location (right next to El Fna for tour departure), the comfort of the room, and the general ambiance, very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, not so far from the square where everything happens, and all the local restaurants were only 10 minute walk from here. The staff are so friendly and helpful, all of them and the owner also gave us the best tips for places to visit. Thank you to all for making my holiday/birthday so special.

Great location with an on-site hammam. The riad was a peaceful and calm retreat after exploring the souks and sites of marrakech. Lovely rooftop terrace to relax on with friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The pool was more for looks than use and perhaps there could have been a little more variety with breakfast (fresh fruit?). But overall these are small things - we had a great stay and would happily return.

Our stay at Riad Bamboo Suites and Spa in Marrakech was fantastic. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, with Simo and Ali going above and beyond to take care of all our needs. Loved being greeted by the traditional Moroccan tea and sweets. The Hammam experience was amazing, leaving us refreshed and relaxed, followed by one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with plush beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The riad is a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Medina, close to all the main attractions. Highly recommend for a relaxing and well-run stay in Marrakech! If you’re looking for a luxurious and welcoming place to stay in Marrakech, Riad Bamboo Suites and Spa is an absolute gem. Cons: The only slight downside was that we spent three nights in the Riad however after the second night we were moved to a new room for the final night.

Property was very well presented and provided a tranquil base on the door step of the hustle and bustle of the medina. We loved the location so easy to find our way to and from and the facilities were great. The rooms were clean and well maintained and we loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning. The best part of our stay would have had to have been the staff though, Sumo and Ali couldn’t have been more helpful, we felt so at home there. Would 100% stay there again on our next visit.

A perfect, quiet sanctuary in the middle of the heat and noise and hustle and bustle of the Medina. Simo & Ali are amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The Riad is small and light and beautifully decorated. The rooms are also small but well thought out with amazing use of space. The staff are lovely. The highlight is the roof terrace. We could have spent all day there. A total delight.
Cons: If you don't want to step out of the cool tranquility of the riad into the chaos and mayhem of the Medina then this place is not for you.

A beautiful riad that is blissfully tranquil just minutes from the chaos of the centre. The courtyard, rooftop, rooms and breakfast were all incredible. Our night host Ali was a stand out feature for us- from the moment we arrived he was great (even got the euros on the TV for us). Simone was also wonderful and upgraded us to a suite! A wonderful stay we can’t wait to come back.

The Riad is located in the heart of the Medina, so we never really felt far away from our 'oasis' if we felt we needed to catch a break from everything going on in the Medina.

Wow! This Riad was truly amazing. A little piece of heaven and peace and quiet away from the craziness that is Marrakesh. Ideal location to get to everything- could not have been better located - seconds from the souks and 5 minutes from the main square. The rooms are stunning, very well decorated and a good use of space - shower was amazing. We had the ground floor room, all other rooms are on the first floor we believe - no lift. Air conditioning great. Maid service exceptional - every day clean linen and towels and even tidy up for us (shamefully!). Lounge area with pool was gorgeous and the perfect place to relax. Roof top was a great hide out from the bustle of the streets below and we enjoyed the Riad’s included delicious breakfast every morning up there. The staff could not do more to help! There was always someone around to help and they could not do more for us. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and make the Riad feel like home. They provided an exceptional lunch for us the day that we missed breakfast due to an early tour and even gave John a small gift for his birthday. A truly special experience and could not recommend enough! We loved it! Pa watch out for la la the house cat and Terrence the Tortoise (our name for him!)

Everything about Bamboo was perfect as soon as we arrived. We arranged an airport transfer as we were arriving late evening and didn't fancy trapesing around the medina at night without our bearings, and it was on time and friendly. One driver brought us to the edge of the medina and then we were passed to another man who carried our cases in a hand cart through the main square. [Note - they work hard - try and have something on you to tip! We had only managed to get some big notes at the airport but thankfully I had some Euros.[ Anyway, then our welcome from Ali when we arrived was lovely. An invitation to sit, enjoy tea and sweet pastries was delicious and nourishing, made all the more perfect by Lala the cat jumping on our lap and cuddling up. We encouraged this as we are cat people and loved it. The riad was quiet and peaceful and had such a lovely atmosphere. We had the Superior Double room which opened out onto the atrium and it was really beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious which we took on the roof terrace, a lovely spot. The location is also excellent, a few minutes down the street and you are at the Djeema al Fna main square. All in all we loved it here and were sad to only be there one night as we were going off to a wedding elsewhere, but we undoubtedly will be back! Thank you Simo and Ali for a great stay!

What a beautiful place! The ambience and decor is calming and relaxing. Just what you need after visiting souks. Place is very tastefully decorated, primarily in a boho style and my friend who is passionate about social media was happy for all the great shots she could take everywhere she went. The best part of this riad however is its staff, a truly amazing team. We were welcomed warmly, every request we had was fulfilled with an ease and we were simply in awe from the moment we stepped through the doors. Hammam was great, massage was from another world, and even the maid had done an incredible job organizing our room. Our suitcases happened to explode all over the room before we went out to explore :DDD but when we came back we couldn't believe how tidy the room was. Every item found a place and everywhere we looked it was super neat. I wish I was this good at home honestly. We would like to give a special thanks to Ali, who took care of us when serving a dinner on the terrace and arranging a shisha water pipe the other evening. We felt like we can ask anything and Ali did everything with a big hearty smile. Whole team did really. We also fell in love with Leela, riad's mischievous cat. It was really nice to see a kitty that lives indoors and has all the love. There are many cats living on the streets there, so Leela is very lucky. If you wake up in the morning he might await in the hallway (doesn't go into the rooms) call you to come with him, then lead you upstairs to the terrace so you unbolt the doors for him. We would definitely love to return to this place one day. Thank you for everything!

Riad Bamboo was in a perfect location for exploring Marrakesh just 5 or so minutes from the main square and was a calm and beautiful environment. The breakfasts were delicious and could be taken on the roof terrace, which we loved. What we appreciated most was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff as nothing was too much trouble for them. After a busy day in the city they made everything easy and relaxing and a retreat from the intensity outside. Would absolutely stay again!

The place is right in the middle of Medina, very easy to access to from Jamaa El Fna. The Riad is very quiet, the room and bathroom very clean, the staff amazing. They did everything they could to make us feel at home.Breakfast amazing and massages and Hamman, a great experience. Would highly recommend them.

Cons: SPA treatments cannot be paid by card, rather un Euro cash… this is something we weren’t aware when we booked the treatments, nor the staff told us until we were about to check out (and in a hurry). Cons: We loved everything and we cannot wait to go back, if we have to say something that wasn’t perfect but this is not related to the riad it was everywhere in Marrakech is the internet network, it’s not the best one. For normal use it’s fine however we are digital nomads and we lack a bit of speed in the connection, the solution was to slow down and take the trip as proper holidays :)

Where to start! Riad Bamboo is simply a divine little piece of heaven tucked away in the heart of marrakech. The facilities, room, surroundings, spa were all faultless. However, what defined our stay was the utter joy of being looked after by Simo and Ali. Their calm and professional manner , while simultaneously making us feel at home really made our visit amazing. Any request was met with a smile and helpful suggestions, whether this was ordering take away or arranging spa treatments. We would return to Riad Bamboo in a heartbeat and would recommend a stay in this little oasis to any traveller.

Simo and Ali made us feel at home, attending to every need answering any questions with a big smile, we could feel they love what they do and where they work. This is a small riad with few room which makes it feels like you rented the place for yourself. The location of the riad is perfect, minutes walk from everything, we took a taxi only once. On one of the nights we had full Hamam treatment it was exceptional beyond words don’t miss out on that!!! (I recommend having dinner in the riad afterwards )
