We enjoyed everything about our stay at Riad Amin and couldn’t recommend this beautiful accomodation any more. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us, tending to our every need (and more). Our breakfasts on the terrasse were also a big highlight, as was our dinner there (a must do, if you’re staying)! Thank you to all the staff at Riad Amin for making our stay (and in particular, to Marie, Rachid and Aziz - we will miss you)!

Location was great for walking about the Medina and accessing transportation. Was elegant and homage to vintage Moroccan aesthetic. The staff was delightful; even packing us breakfast to go when we had early adventures. Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of the food because of our itinerary, but we did enjoy the beautiful rooftop, the pool, and rest, and the many areas to the lounge and rest outside of your room.

Our stay at Riad Amin in Marrakech was by far the most welcoming experience of our journey. Since we were traveling in the low season, we had the whole riad to ourselves and could fully enjoy the peace, beauty, and charm of the place. The atmosphere was serene, and we immediately felt at home. The location was perfect — within walking distance to explore the main sights of Marrakech, while being situated in a very pleasant and authentic neighborhood. What made the riad even more special was its refreshing swimming pool, the beautiful mix of colors, and the lush greenery of the plants that created a truly relaxing environment. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakech.
Cons: The air conditioning could have been a bit stronger at night, but it was a very minor detail compared to the overall comfort and hospitality we experienced.

A simply stunning Riad that is beautifully designed and maintained. Amazing service from Marie and all of the staff who are so accommodating. The location is excellent with many of the bustling souks just a few minutes walk away and with nice restaurants very close by however choosing to eat in is a fantastic choice as the food is simply amazing. We liked eveything - the location, the decorations, the people. It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable. We were staying in one of the rooms at the top and we loved coming. Even though it is Close to the center and to a big street it was very quiet - perfect to rest after the visit to the city. The internet was also very good- I had to work and it was seemless. But the best were the people- truly helpful, even before we arrived and also took care that we are taken care of when travelling out of the city. Thank you so much everybody!

The staff are fantastic, very welcoming, helpful, friendly and Marie the manager and her staff go out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and gave good recommendations. The location of the Riad is perfect as it is just inside the Medina near the tombs where there are taxis and quick access to all parts of the Medina and Kasbah. The Riad has a wonderful roof terrace equipped with good seating and which is surprisingly quiet considering the noise outside. Breakfasts come with fresh fruit salad daily, a variety of yoghurt, some other home made Moroccan pancakes and dried fruits. Marie was so kind as to move our 1 room to a quieter location which was highly appreciated.
Cons: The bed was the most uncomfortable, hardest bed we have ever slept on. All rooms seem to have them and note that a few people complained. Guests make a lot of noise entering the Riad, in reception area and stairwells so make sure you book a room away from that as it is not great to be disturbed early morning or during the night. Deluxe Rooms are maybe less affected in some parts of the Riad.

The riad was beautiful. Our room was fantastic, had clean towels, the beds were made every day, we were given breakfast & if we were leaving early to go on a trip, a packed up breakfast was given to us! The staff were unbelievably nice. The night shift guy was so lovely & funny! Marie/Maria was super polite and accommodating. If we popped back during the day, she made us coffee & gave us cake for free! She organised airport transfers and walked out with us to make sure we got in the right taxi. She literally couldn't do enough for us.
Cons: Only one thing - the riad is right next to a mosque and at 5.30am and 6.30am there would be a call to prayer 'announcement' - basically a guy "singing" for about 5 or 6 minutes. It was broadcast via a tannoy, and as the riad has no roof, the sound came straight into our room and woke us up every single time

The transfer to and from the airport was easy and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights, then left on a separate trip to the Erg Chebbi desert before returning for another 2 nights. The staff were very accommodating of this and Adbu even made sure we had take-away breakfast for our long trip. Marie gave us loads of recommendations and tips for getting around the city. We ate dinner on the roof terrace a couple of times and had a lovely chat with Yassine about life in Morocco. The amenities were great, comfortable beds, air con, wifi, slippers and robes for the hammam and pool. Stylish showers and traditional Moroccan decor in the rooms added to the ambience of the stay.
Cons: The pool, while lovely, was very cold! Marie did warn us but we had to try it for ourselves and had a laugh doing so. The only confusion we had was around payment at the end of our stay. They like you to keep a tab and pay at the end in Euros, preferably in cash. We had asked to pay a portion on card, but their card machine currency is Dirham so it charged tax when we paid in Euros which cost us slightly more. Overall this doesn't take away from our experience, just a note that you should always try to pay in Euros, cash.

It’s very beautifully decorated and has a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The food was lovely as were the staff. MarieB, the manager, was very attentive, as was Abdu, who I believe was in charge of the food. They both made sure we were well settled in and that we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.
Cons: Our room was right by the front desk, so during the day we could hear the comings and goings of pretty much every one on the property as the room wasn’t sound-proofed. It didn’t annoy me too much, but it was noticed.

10/10 would recommend this Riad! The Riad itself was located perfectly in Marrakech next to a beautiful mosque and very close to Saadien tombs! It was so easy to get to the square and the markets and very easy to get a taxi for further journeys. The rooftop was lovely and it was so nice to relax there after a busy day of exploring the city. The staff were amazing as well and I can’t thank them enough for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Marie was super helpful with recommendations about attractions and restaurants and Abdu was a star! For two of the days we had early excursions so Abdu packed us breakfast that we could take with us on the journey. The rest of the kitchen staff and night staff were also top notch! We were staying for 6 days and in the hot weather we ran through our clean clothes but thankfully the Riad offers a very reasonable price for washing and ironing clothes so we didn’t have any issues in that regard. Overall amazing stay!
Cons: I’ve nothing bad to say about it except maybe that the 4am prayer from the nearby mosque can be a little loud sometimes. But I was able to sleep through it most of the time!

This was my second stay at Riad Amin. I came 2 years ago and loved it so much that I came back! Everything about the riad is really beautiful. Our room was comfortable and very well decorated, the bathroom was amazing, the terrace where we had breakfast was lovely, and the pool was great for when you needed to cool down from the Marrakesh heat! The location is great, it's very close to the Medina, but it's not noisy at night. We really loved the breakfast, there was a lot to choose from—the baghrir was my favourite! But the thing that really made the stay was the staff. Marie, Abdul, and Yassine were super helpful and so friendly! Abdul really loved to entertain and make us laugh and smile with his songs, and all the ladies working at the riad were so kind and made us feel extremely welcomed—there's just so many positive things that I could say! We really enjoyed our stay and I would choose to stay here again! Thank you to everyone at Riad Amin :)

I liked the place and the room (clean and comfortable). Doorman was just ok but not too much focused on the customer, Often you have to go aorund the property to find someone to get support from. Housekeeprs all very good and friendly
Cons: I did not like transportation from the Airport (had to wait for more than 25 mins for the taxi booked in advance) and the property did not get any responsibility on that charging me the whole amount. I would have avoided to charge the customer for this lack of service! I did not like too much the breakfast: only the fresh orange juice value 10, rest of breakfast quite poor. No croissant and jam only upon request. Taxi outside the hotel are too expensive and the host did not support customers in dealing with them, for the same distance I have paid 20 Euro the first day, 12 the second day and 15 the 3rd day. Max 2 km distance each transport. This "taxi policy" is not accpetable from a rated 9.3 hotel, they can easily suggest how to catch a normal taxi.

Nothing really. I got good advice on where to find an ATM close by.
Cons: The breakfast was a "standard" city hotel breakfast, industrial products, nothing specially homemade and personal that I would expect from a de luxe riad in Marrakech. It felt lika a place for cheap flight travellers ... The design of furniture and of the place as a whole sloppy and not up to my high demands of an exclusive and stylish personal choices. Marrakech has been ruined by hords of people on fossil-fuel, old motorbikes. The air quality is so poor. So sad.

Riad Amin is a gem. We loved it, easy to find .we had a night here whilst exploring the Souks and Marrakesh. Near enough to walk to the main square and far enough away to be a bit quieter! The host, Marie was perfect and the staff were fantastic. We wished we had stayed a couple of nights and I am sure we will be back. It is very quirky and authentic. The roof terrace is lovely with lots of places to relax. Next to a Mosque and in the Kasbah nearby the royal palace , Would definitely recommend. Ps, we forgot our slippers inside the wardrobe, they contact us to organize how to return it back , that we appreciate a lot . Thank you Marie b and the staff.😘

Although I only stayed for one night, I had an amazing time at this Riad. The communication upfront was really good, the taxi driver was waiting for me at the airport and we had a nice chat on our way. Abdul helped me checking in at 1AM and even helped me out/made me feel secure getting some food/money at this time in Kasbah. The shower was hot, the room was clean and all the staff were very friendly/welcoming. Maria welcomed me the next day and made sure everything was alright. I was able to drop my stuff to pick up later that day as well and again welcomed with a smile. Thanks a lot, i will come back :)
Cons: For me the bed was a bit firm and pillow too soft, but that's personal of course (as I usually sleep on my side). But I'm sure the second night would have been OK, so I'd still come back :). Thanks!

Riad Amin is lovely. Very tranquil - decor lovely. Lots of places to sit, read, rest. Terrace very pretty. We didn't use the pool which is only a plunge pool but it would be nice in the summer. The breakfast was very nice, and we ate dinner twice. It was delicious. Not haut cuisine, but very nice - lentil, chick pea soups, tagines (we had a really excellent tuna tagine the first night). The staff were very helpful, organising taxis (lovely taxi driver who we used our 5 days) and a walking trip in the Atlas mountains - just us with the guide, visiting his family who were so hospitable. We hope to return. Location great too. Right in the medina, with a 10 minute walk, plus, to the main square and souk.
Cons: Another sofa seating area would be nice

The location was perfect. You can get a taxi right to the door but you can easily walk into the old town (5 mins). The other Riads in the old town would be much trickier to get to due to pedestrianised streets, with suitcases etc. It's also quite hectic in the sooks so this was a welcome escape! The Riad was peaceful and beautiful. The manager was absolutely great too. Really great value, would definitely go again.
Cons: The beds were quite hard but I think that's personal preference! The swimming pool was also quite cold but it was nice and refreshing given it was 38 degrees outside!

The location was very good. You could walk into the centre within 10 minutes and it was completely safe. Maria was extremely helpful as were all the staff working there.
Cons: We stayed in the ground floor twin room. As a light sleeper, as soon as people woke up for breakfast and congregated in the reception area, I was awake. This happened both mornings. I would perhaps encourage people not to use this area until after breakfast is finished. You have to leave your key at the reception whenever you go out, which is not a problem. But you just leave it on the side. It didn’t feel particularly secure. That said, we didn’t have any problems with access to the room

Abdul welcomed us with some lovely Moroccan tea. He gave us a tour around the Riad, explaining everything. Greatly appreciated considering we turned up some 2.5 hours before check in time. Our stay was amazingly relaxing and peaceful! The attention to detail is incredibly noticeable in all the rooms and spaces throughout the Riad. All the staff were kind and helpful and Marie is the hostess with the mostest. The location is great, it’s right in the Medina about 14mins walk from Jemaa el Fna and the souks and also right in front of the Saadian Tombs. A bonus of a small pool for a refreshing splash after a day in the heat. A big shout out to Abdul for making sure we had our breakfast earlier in time for our early check out and airport transfer. It was all in all an amazing experience and we definitely recommend.
Cons: Not a big deal but always confirm with the property if your online card payments have gone through if paying in advance as they said they usually have issues with authorization and security when charging UK cards. Otherwise you will have an unnecessary surprise at checkout.

This is now my second stay at Riad Amin. We were warmly greeted with traditional mint tea and homemade pastries. The location is very convenient, nearby a good cafe and Koutoubia Mosque, a cash point and a small walk to the centre. They have a delicious buffet breakfast with a nice selection of fruits, pastries and spreads. The room was beautiful and clean, smelt amazing and we shared a lovely patio with another room. We enjoyed a very relaxing massage on the roof terrace. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the host MarieB and night keeper Abdul have always been very welcoming. Won't hesitate to book again!
Cons: I had a frustrating experience with a taxi service recommended by the other night keeper Soulaiman, who suggested that I book a return taxi through one of his connections to save money. He contacted the taxi for me directly for the journey there and back. Although this was very convenient, the driver charged me 400 dirhams (around £36), an unreasonably high fee for just a 20 minute round trip. I learned that taxis shouldn't be more than around 50 dirhams for a one way trip. In hindsight, I don't recommend booking a taxi through Soulaiman due to my experience, and that it's important to research local taxi prices before booking.

- Incredibly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with attention to detail, in the rooms and throughout the whole Riad. - Very kind and helpful staff. Always ready to answer questions and take care of anything you might need. - Good location in the southwestern part of the Medina. Short 10 min walk to Jemaa el Fna and the souks. But far enough away so the streets aren't too crazy at night. - Small and cold pool for a refreshing dip after a day in the heat. All in all an amazing experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend. We'll be back next the next time we are in Morocco!
Cons: Tall people: Beware of small doors ;-) Just like everywhere else in Morocco.

Room and bathroom are quite large and quiet, were it not for the proximity to the mosque which might trouble light sleepers. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped. Reasonable rate (we didn't take dinner, which we found expensive). Good breakfast with good choice. Wifi works without hiccup.
Cons: The checkout process was long and convoluted, ending in an additional cost of 3.5% and impeding me to pay in local currency as I specifically requested. A table in teh bedroom would be a plus.

This Riad was the best for location. The street outside meant it was easy to get taxis plus there was access to the gate around the corner to get even cheaper taxis. The mosque was across the road and men, women and children gathered in the square for evening football, tea and general worship. Next door was the Kasbah Cafe with an extraordinary roof terrace looking over one of the many stork's nests in the area. Very nearby were the Saadien Tombs and as the area is more residential than others the street brochettes were cheap and totally delicious. You can book tours with the agent next door and Marie, Adul and Sulaiman ably assisted us with securing good prices. It was a busy hotel too and it seemed full all the time we were there.
Cons: Dinner: On the first night we were served rock hard pastilla so we didn't eat there again

We LOVED it! The suite was the perfect accommodation for the four of us, with the kids in a separate section. It has to be one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and a fantastic shower in the beautiful bathroom. We loved that it was a little distance from the hustle and bustle yet easy to walk to everything and lots of restaurants just outside our door. Marie made us feel like family friends and nothing was too much trouble for her. We would definitely return.
Cons: The only thing I could comment on (and it's very small) is that breakfast always seemed to be running out of things. These were quickly replenished once requested but it gave a bit of a feeling of always having to ask for more. It's more of a comment than a complaint as it does have the effect of avoiding waste, which is good.

Really good area to explore but nice and quiet behind the front door! Taxi drivers know the Cafe Kasbah and Riad Amin is next door (or opposite Saadien's Tombs if you are struggling with that). Very welcoming and friendly and impeccably clean, comfortable and with plenty of space. Well worth the money to stay here. Quiet, comfortable and friendly. We accidently left something in the room and they found and kept it for us to collect when we returned - very trustworthy and safe. Thank you Marie! We booked the family suite which was perfect - the children had a separate twin room within the suite. Breakfast was gorgeous with eggs cooked to order, juices, coffee. We also had dinner on the rooftop terrace which was also lovely and highly recommended for a first class relaxing experience. I can confirm that it is NOT a problem to find and NOT a problem getting buzzed in.
Cons: Nothing - it was brilliant.

Excellent location; short walk to the main square/souks, but on a relatively quiet street. Beautiful, well maintained building that has old world character but modern comforts. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Slightly challenging to find (as with many riads). Some minimal noise in the room at night. Wish there was a key to the main door to avoid having to buzz or knock to be let in!

The location is excellent, Kasbah is a nicer calmer area than the main square, plenty of taxi's outside but it is possible to walk everywhere from this location. The breakfast was nice, there was fresh orange juice, cake, bread etc and the ladies would make you an omlette if you wanted and also brought out fresh crepes. The room was really nice, bathroom was nice and spacious, there is a sort of courtyard directly outside so not the quietest. The courtyard area in the Riad is lovely and a great place to sit and relax. The staff are really helpful and friendly. You get a lovely feel for Marrakesh staying here.
Cons: You don't get a key for the front door and you have to leave your room key in reception. Whenever you come back to the Riad, you have to knock on the door to be let in and ask for your room key. There was not always an answer immediately so you had to knock a few times. I don't understand why you are not given a front door key so you can come and go as you please. There may be a reason for this but it seems really unnecessary.

Malika and the staff were really nice. The Riad is quiet even at night. For the breakfast we had a buffet with plenty of different kind of food.
Cons: not easy to find a place to park the car
