We really enjoyed our stay in the Riad - the room was comfy, the breakfast was awesome, and the staff was super helpful. We had to leave very early on the last morning, and they packed us breakfast for takeaway, very lovely!

Tout était parfait !! Je recommande à tous de choisir ce Dar pour votre séjour à Fes. Le personnel est tellement serviable et sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner était varié et délicieux. La chambre était impeccable, grande, propre, avec l'air climatisé en plus. L'emplacement est vraiment idéal, proche de la porte bleue et d'une des rues princiales.

Cons: Nous avons noté un manque de chaleur de la part du personnel, et l'accueil n'a pas été aussi chaleureux que ce que nous avions l'habitude de trouver au Maroc. Nous avons eu le sentiment de déranger chaque fois que nous sollicitions quelque chose. Nous tenons toutefois à remercier la dame en charge des repas et du ménage, dont la gentillesse et le sourire ont grandement rehaussé notre expérience dans ce riad.

Ottima posizione per visitare la Medina vecchia di fes. Location vicina sia alla porta blu, sia ai souk, sia alla conceria. Colazione più che abbondante. I due ragazzi che ci hanno accolto sono stati davvero accoglienti e disponibili. L'ultimo giorno, nonostante la nostra partenza alle 5.30 della mattina, comunque ci avevano preparato la colazione che ci spettava (come da prenotazione), ma che noi non avevamo preteso, vista l'ora di partenza.
Cons: Diciamo che è un po difficile trovarlo fra tutti i vicoletti della medina. Bisogna chiedere un po di indicazioni in giro.

Lovely cozy riad, with traditional feel and many local crafts as accents, really gave the feeling of being in Morocco. Best part today: since I was meeting a tour group before 8 am, the riad staff prepared me a breakfast package to take away, including yogurt, water, banana and a packaged cake. This was very thoughtful of them, and much appreciated!
Cons: Instructions for how to find the place could be better, since at this time the riad is not listed on maps.me, and Google maps gave me incorrect directions.

Het ontbijt was echt heerlijk. De eigenaren hebben ons steeds goed geholpen, met advies over welke restaurants goed zijn en met andere dingen. Ze zijn heel behulpzaam. De riad zit op een perfecte locatie in de medina, zowel op loopafstand van een parkeergarage als op loopafstand van alle winkeltjes en restaurants. De kamer was schoon. Het bed en de kamer waren ruim. .

Located near the main street of medina, easy to find, beautiful interior
Cons: There is no hot water in sink, only in shower, i had to wash my face bending over the shower cabin. They didn’t offer to meet at Medina gate, send some google route which has nothing with reality and we got lost and were attacked with those money beggars, in fact the way to riad is so simple, why needed to complicate with google route. The rest is fine, good value for money

Breaky was amazing, located right in the medina, bit of a walk from the taxi stop but they met me at 0100 am and helped with my heavy bag. All staff very friendly.

All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and the terrace offers a wonderful view of the medina! Breakfast was plentiful, but it would have been nice to have eggs.

I stayed here for nine days and extended the room three times because I had work and couldn't leave. If we have bad behavior and we dirty the room, we are willing to bear everything. If we don't, you have a bad conscience.Look at the message you sent me, there is no lie here, have you forgotten how many times I extended my room?
Cons: Your lies are not limited to the replies to the bad reviews. You said you would cover the 2 euros for luggage handling, but you didn't. The parking lot you recommended charged 6 euros for two motorcycles. I couldn't get through to you, so I changed to another parking lot, which only charged 2 euros for two motorcycles. Then your attitude became worse. The locals called us to ask about the hotel location, but you hung up the phone. We will post the information you sent. We have traveled to more than 20 countries by motorcycle. I am willing to use our safety to guarantee that we are not lying.And there were no stains or garbage when leaving the room.

Cons: If it wasn't for work I wouldn't have stayed here for 9 days, sorry to give a bad review but it's the first bad review on this site, thanks for grabbing my husband's phone to talk to me, thanks for turning the mattress over in front of us when we left, it was a whole huge mattress, the male manager was very strong. We did change the sheets the night before, but if the mattress needed to be changed we would have told you too. We have been traveling by motorbike for a year and we have not given any bad reviews and we were not spied on when eating, I don't know what we did wrong, cooking did produce a smell because the kitchen does not have a range hood，Thank you for hospitality！

Cons: 1. We had to pay additional tax in the property. FYI, during my 7-day stay in Morocco, I stayed in 4 different hotel, apartement and riads, but none of them charged me additional tax except for Riad Dar Ahl Tadla. Even though I was already informed during the booking process, after comparing it with the other 3 accommodations that did not ask for tax, it left me disappointed. For the 4 of us (myself, my husband, & 2 children), we had to pay 80 Dirhams. 2. The price of the Riad was also expensive compared to my previous Riad in Fes, my Hotel in Tanger (which is the hotel has the same size and more comfortable) and my apartment in Rabat (with more facilities and a bigger area including kitchen and balkon). So I believe it is OVERPRICED. Additionally, this Riad charged for my Credit card early before our arrival, whereas with others, I paid upon arrival at the property. Maybe it is tolerable, but after comparing it with other riads and Hotels, I don't think it is common in Morocco. 3. the staff is also not professional. I feel that the staff is too cold and did not explain any detail about the Riad. they first ask our passports and also tax and forgot to give me the key until I ask the key... lol. the previous riad that I spent the other two nights was very welcome and explained anything about the hotel and the environment then gave me the key. FYI, my flight was rescheduled so I had to extend one night, so I had no choice and finally booked in Ahl Tadla because of it. 4. they don't provide bath soap and when I asked, they said that the hand soap in the sink is for bath as well...lol. it's different from other accommodations that give dif soaps. the bathroom shower tab also difficult to adjust 5. the room is dimly lit, needs more light especially for families with children. 6. if you still have any choices to choose another Riad, please look at the other. Fes has so many Riad, and you can choose the most suitable.

Cons: The bed is a bit hard. It is a wt room, so when you shower the whole floor gets wet. It would be nice to have a squeegee to dry the floor.

Cons: The room was very small and there were stains on pillow covers. The bedsheets didn't look clean as well. The room was upstairs and we had to carry our suitcases up on alot of steps without any help. There was no room service and nobody cleaned our room the next day.

Fatima is an amazing person. She prepared us full Moroccan breakfast every morning and when we had to leave at very early morning hours, she would let us takeaway. One of the kindest people. Furthermore, the room is also spacious.

Cons: Breakfast wasn't served until 9 a.m, so if you're leaving before you won't be able to have it, even if you paid for the service.. No shower cabin. You need to leave the keys in the riad if you want the staff to clean up your room, because apparently they don't have passepartout.

We felt welcome from the first moment - all people working there are doing amazing job and were doing all possible to make our stay the best possible - a few examples: went out of the medina at late night to welcome us to the taxi and walked us through medina to the hotel, always helped with all our questions, special requests, etc! The freshly cooked breakfast each day were very tasty, wide choices and sitting on the rooftop with views over Fez is just amazing benefit - both during breakfast and in the evenings. We booked 4 bed room, just for two of us and it was spacy, well equipped and comfortable. The location is perfect - directly in the centre of medina! And in the cleaner..better part of it. Thank you again for all your effort!

The place is very calm and it's like an oasis in the Middle of chaos. The staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was Delicious. We could leave our bags the last day to have another stroll in the Medina. The hotel is situated close to the Blue gate, súper close to the main street, but in a very peaceful place. They arranged the taxy to go to the airport for us. The owner gave us very good information about the city and places to see.

The location is perfect. It is close to the blue gate, easy to be found even in the maze of Fes medina. It is also very quiet. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning functions well. The room is bigger than I thought. A cozy place to take rest.

beautiful small riad in a perfect location for exploring Fes. the rooms have everything you need if you’re travelling and don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the room. the riad has a lovely terrace for relaxing and enjoying the view over the Medina of Fes. the staff were all extremely nice and helpful, tea was always offered, they helped with guided tours and transfers to other cities.

Cons: If you want to sleep well, it's not the place. No any sound isolation. Rooms are separated with the plywood and the grilled window giving to the common space. If you want to go to sleep at 10pm, but can't. You can hear people talking as if they were in your room. Same kind of rooms are rented for 7$ in Asia. Plumbing should be redone....Room is tiny, pretty humid, but the AC is available, you can run it to try the room air

We had a very nice stay at Dar Al Tadla. It is perfectly located, the staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The room was basic but very clean. Younes arranged a desert trip with driver Abdul, who is a very good guide and a thoughtful man. We like to come back next time!

Everything was amazing! We were in the middle of the medina. The staff was very helpful.we couldn't find the riad straight away, so he picked us even up and helped with the parking. Breakfast was tasty and the roof terrace is incredible! We would love to come back one day!

The terrace is awesome. Great location, super close to the main attractions. The staffs are really generous, we arrived in the late Friday afternoon and got offered to share delicious homemade couscous, soup and traditional honey cookies with Eunice - his sister made them for him. Thank you very much Eunice.

The staff were amazing, very accomodating and helpful. The riad was very well situated, and breakfast was very good each morning. The room was spacious and as described when booking.
Cons: The bed was quite hard and not the most comfortable, and the bathroom could do with renweing and maybe some extra ventilation so it doesn't always smell damp.
