A good location, close to the Souk and other attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was good, mint tea on arrival and dinner nice too for the couple of occassions we ate in the Riad. Pool and garden courtyard were nice. Staff very friendly and helpful

Cons: On-going building works was not good. We should have been made aware that there were works going on prior to our arrival. Work was centred around the pool area with hammering, banging and painting going on so relaxing at the pool was difficult and I did on one occassion find myself having to go elsewhere due to the noise.

I had such a wonderful stay at Riad Nashira! The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, a perfect escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. What really made the experience special was the staff—so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. Their kindness truly made me feel at home. I can’t wait to come back!

Thank you to Porters Aziz & Uncle Mohammed for your help. Thank you Chef Khaled for preparing our food.

We travelled as a family of four and booked two rooms, one Deluxe Suite and one Deluxe Room. In general I am sorry to say that we were disappointed with our stay. Although the Riad advertises that it’s a 5 star it definitely is not. The rooms are spacious but they are in desperate need of renovation as does the entire Riad including the common areas. The rooftop was closed the entire time we were there (5 nights) and the pool was only open for two of those days because of the cool weather, but when it was open there didn’t seem to be any bar service. Breakfast which was included in the price was plentiful but not of very good quality, the pastries were not fresh and the bread although warm was again not fresh. Although muesli was stated on the Menu, when requested it was never available until the last evening when we made a point of asking for it and they obviously went out and bought some for us which we appreciated but it was on our last morning only. The waiter at breakfast was always in a hurry, never stopped to listen to what we wanted to have and never smiled; it felt like he was the only one taking orders, preparing them and serving them. The reception staff were always polite and greeted us in a friendly manner and when we asked for softer, more comfortable pillows, they actually went over and beyond and bought some new ones. One bottle of water is placed in the room upon arrival only and never replenished. We asked several times and only on the last evening was it replenished. A bowl of fruit was also placed upon arrival but it did not look appetizing. WIFI was erratic. I cannot comment on the Spa space or the treatments on offer as we didn’t visit. For the price point, I expected far more and I do not believe it is good value for money. There are far better options in the Medina than the Riad Nashira & Spa.

We had a wonderful Birthday celebration while staying at the Riad Nashira & Spa, in Marrakech. We have never stayed in a Riad before, and this one was exceptional. The minute we arrived, and were greeted with Moroccan tea, assistance with our luggage, and a warm welcome, we knew we were in the right place. Our time at this Riad was magical, and the entire staff were the best, and catered to our every need. Thank you so much, for such a memorable stay, in this quiet, sophisticated and beautiful Riad.

It is a lovely setting as you walk in, feels very calm and peaceful and you are served tea and snacks as you arrive which is a nice touch

Cons: A few things that make it feel more like a 3* vs 5*. Robes in the rooms are tatty and in need of replacing. No conditioner or moisturiser in the rooms. Breakfast was really poor - bad service as it took ages for anything other than the standard bread/pastries to arrive and we had to chase multiple times for anything off the menu and when it did arrive it was wrong e.g. ordered a boiled egg and was served 3 fried eggs?! Standard of the breakfast food was very poor - undercooked omelette which was inedible, stale pastries and stale bread. We only ate it 2/4 mornings as it was so bad. Additional bottles of water are at a huge extra cost which isn't clear until end of stay. It also says there is a bar, but there is no actual bar or bar service and you have to ask at reception to order a drink. I asked if I could order a drink on the rooftop and was served an espresso I didn't want - I assumed it was complimentary and then was charged for it at the end of my stay.

We came to morocco for the first time and wanted to experience an Riad. We wanted to splurge as we were celebrating my husband's career achievement. We found this 5 star Riad amongst others and instantly fell in love with the beauty of it. Stayed here for 3 nights. Absolutely beautiful Riad. Elegant and hidden away from the chaos. I do want to mention others like Tariq... he was great. He helped us with a room we weren't happy with and despite that he still smiled each time he saw us and was respectful towards us. The housekeeping girls were nice and same with the service staff at the dining room. I appreciated each time they acknowledged us with a smile.

Cons: But for a 5 star Riad, we had high expectations with the service we hoped to reception. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing from an individual receptionist (I know his name but I won't put him out on here) and he managed to dampen the experience. If your staff isn't able to smile or dismiss you as a guest when you come to them with an issue (our room didn't have hot water and he basically said "our hotel never has issues with it"). I've had a personal chat with him and let him know how I didn't appreciate his tone of voice and the words he chose when he spoke to me. In response, he suggested that's how he talks. If that's his response, he shouldn't be in hospitality. He did apologize and I thought we can move past it. But his attitude remained cold till the end when we asked him to call us a taxi and he looked annoyed (maybe that's his face as he says it) and was saying how we didn't book it. Well you can simply just call without making it a issue or tell us you can't do your job and we could find one ourselves. Once again not acceptable from a staff of a 5 star hotel. An advice to the owner, I suggest you train the receptionists since they are the first point of contact and the last one you see when you head out. It really makes the experience awful and awkward having to see someone who is grumpy or has a certain "face" that is not friendly every time you enter or leave the place.

This Riad is such a calm space in the bustling medina. It’s a beautiful property, with a big roof terrace to sunbathe and relax. The outdoor pool is a peaceful shaded area to sit in. The bearded Man at reception was a great help with any queries we had regarding Marrakesh, giving us maps, ordering taxis etc. The Night Porter was a little gem, He walked us to the pick up point of an early morning pick up for our Hot air balloon trip and made sure we were picked up before he left. Breakfast is delicious and such a nice space to start your day. A great place to stay in Marrakesh.

This riad was truly exceptional, and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Everything about it was perfect - the location was ideal, nestled in the heart of the Medina yet surprisingly tranquil, with not a single sound to disrupt the peace. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the addition of the spa was a delightful bonus. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the rooftop for breathtaking views of the sunset or sunrise. I wholeheartedly adored this place and will enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who asks!

This property is at max a 3.5 star property. The breakfast is quite hopeless as they only keep 1 main dish. Furthermore, the wait keeping staff dont offer customer any special items like omellete or fried eggs. If you end up going late for breakfast you are at the mercy of what is leftover. The rooms are clean. However, the cleaning staff likes throwing half used water bottles so you have to buy their own water bottles. Transportation is also an issue. Its so central in the medina such that calling a cab is such an huge ordeal. The area is also extremely unsafe at nights as there are hustlers who will give you misdirections so they can help you out and then ask for tips. Will try to avoid going to stay at this hotel in the future.

Overall facilities are good - downstairs Spa and both pools were nice. Definitely felt like a hotel experience

Cons: Images suggested a rooftop fire and dinner service, this isn’t the case. Breakfast was mediocre compared to other Riads. Checkout experience was frustrating, clear admin errors being double charged for the room and having to debate this with the manager before they realised our documents had been confused with another room. We’d asked for airport transfer to be added to the bill which we paid, once dropped to the airport we realised the driver hadn’t been paid meaning we had to rush to an ATM before our flight, causing unnecessary stress.

The route to the Riad is dodgy, turning into ever-smaller alleyways until it dead-ends at an ornate and near-unmarked door. That makes the discovery of a multi-courtyard, pristine and idyllic property even more shocking (in the best way). One courtyard is a pool, with a few chairs placed in the perfect suntanning spot. The other is filled with fountains and seating. The rooms are huge, and adorned with local craft: lights, textiles, products. It's quiet, oasis-like and luxurious. The staff bend over backward to help you: with parking, shopping, meals, etc. When we visited, we were nearly the only guests there. It felt as though we had the place to ourselves, and service was impeccable.

Cons: No one warns you that you cannot drive to the hotel. The best you can do is get within 2 blocks. Even then, you risk hitting too-narrow dead ends. Ever-predatory locals insist you pay them to watch your car. We trudged with our bags toward the impossible to find hotel, with their guidance, before they demanded payment for showing us. The hotel could do a far better job of warning guests on their website, or leading them to parking. If you take a taxi, it should be less of an issue. But it set the experience off on the wrong foot. Once inside the Riad, it was delightful.

Lovely Riad in a quiet yet central part of town - walkable most places. Amazing staff who couldn’t be more accommodating! The rooftop is amazing for a relaxed coffee in the morning or cocktail in the afternoon.

Cons: Our room on the ground floor around the swimming pool wasn’t the most sound proof, with people often having loud conversations late at night and early in the morning. Some signs asking guests to consider the volume they have conversations between certain hours may help.

Muhammed who works at the Riad.. the most helpful man ever! He took time to help me navigate and took me through the market to buy some gifts. Although English is not his language and French not mine.. he helped with the biggest smile. Thank you so much Muhammed! You are a true gem! The Riad is extremely stunning, super elegant and you would never guess you were in the Medina. I loved the decor! My room although lacking in natural light ( I guess this is normal with Riads) was super comfortable, lush and well arranged. At night because of the position of the Riad I didn't feel comfortable walking by myself. They did kindly have someone meet me at the junction and escort me back.- which is great!

Cons: Unfortunately it seemed all staff members appeared to have colds including spa staff. No measures taken to safe guard guests by wearing masks. Especially if booked in for a treatment in the spa and the spa staff is coughing. I actually asked her if she was ill and she said yes which led me to cancel my appointment. I booked as a solo traveller for my birthday get away ..would of been nice to have gotten a birthday congratulations or a birthday cake or some small sweet. I feel this Riad could be worthy of a 5 star marking if they spent time on the finer details to make guests feel extra special and took time to be attentive. Not all front of house staff were accommodating unfortunately or friendly.

Most of the staff were very friendly. This is a traditional Riad so the rooms are not sound insulated like a hotel. There was a lot of noise early in the morning and late in the evening, making it difficult to sleep. The property needs to put signs up to advise guests to be quiet at these times. Limited food and drink options and all at a premium to the shops 5 minutes away. Airport transfers are also double the normal fare for a taxi arranged yourself. However, overall very pleased and our stay was lovely.

The staff was awesome and very accommodating. They booked all our tours with great tour guides and transportation. The property is well maintained, rooms were spacious, decor was tasteful. This was our first time in Marrakech and we arrived pretty late in the evening. Driving to the hotel at night was a little intimidating as it was difficult to differentiate hotels from common buildings. The streets leading to the hotel are more like a maze of alleys. If you have a lot of luggage, be prepared to walk a couple blocks as cars cannot easily drop you off in front of the property. This is more of a PSA. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

The staff at Riad Nashira could not have been more helpful & friendly - from showing us around and walking us to taxis to chatting in the hotel. The room was for three of us and the door opened on to the pool - it was spacious and robes, toiletries and slippers were provided. The rooftop was a great place for some sun and to relax and we had lunch up there once. Breakfast buffet was great and complimentary snacks are provided in the evening. The basement spa is also amazing. Would definitely return.

Nice hotel, but definitely not worth >200€ per night. Need to pay for extra Hammam, no sauna, indoor pool (=jacuzzi) cold. Breakfast good but not adequate to the price class. All over a disappointment, I would suggest around 100€ per night for the double room as fair price.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay in Marrakesh. The hotel was located in the old town and only a 10 minute walk to the main square which was prefect. We’d explore the Medina during the day and then return to the relaxing hotel in the afternoon. The staff were so lovely and helpful, honestly couldn’t say anything negative about the hotel at all, it was beautiful.

Charming little riad, close to some great eateries. A short walk from the main square (the staff are happy to walk you there giving directions which proved to be hugely helpful) and the markets. Tucked away from all the hussle and bustle - the riad is so quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and a lovely size and the breakfast, which was included, was wonderful.

Nice hotel right in the center of the old city -easy walk to the souk and food. Staff was friendly, and the place was immaculately clean. The room and bathroom are large and comfortable. Note that in most of the hotels I stayed in while in Morocco, do not offer hair conditioner, and neither did this place. Had dinner in the hotel one night - food was delicious - I hope they keep that chef. Breakfast had variety to cover most tastes. I used the spa for a massage - clean, professional and well priced. It's not a 5 star, but what it had it did very well - and you felt that you were actually in Morocco. I was happy to have lucked onto the place.

I can't say enough about the wonderfulness of my stay at Riad Nashia & Spa - the most accommodating place I've ever been, ever! Btsema and the other hosts are eager to do everything - escorts, souk guides, recommendations, train reservations, taxi rides, whatever you need, they are there to happily make happen, and quickly. The Hammad (spa) was a gift, we spent two hours or more there and could have stayed much longer. The entire atmosphere was restful and every design element beautifully imagined and realized. I will stay there again when I return. It was perfect.

Just back from a wonderful experience in Morocco, and staying at Riad Nashira & Spa in Marrakech helped to make it so memorable. What a respite to enter the beautiful and relaxing riad. Loved the rose petals placed throughout my room upon arrival, as well as the Anti-Stress package at their wonderful Spa (be sure to indulge in the Hammam!), among other things. Great and very helpful staff, and the food in the dining room was good too. Only problem was that darned satellite dish TV. Only got it to work once. Would definitely stay at Riad Nashira on my return trip to Marrakesh! I wholeheartedly recommend staying at a great riad as opposed to a large hotel. Such a better and more personable experience overall!

We loved staying at Riad Nashira and Spa and would highly recommend to couples and families with older children. We had been traveling in Morocco for 6 days before we arrived in Marrakech. I read somewhere that Morocco can "dazzle and frazzle." Riad Nashira helps eliminates much of the frazzle! A gentleman met our taxi in the streets of the busy Medina and escorted us to the Riad. (We had learned in Chefchaouen to never give up your taxi until you know where you are.) Later, he walked us all the way to Jemaa el-Fna pointing out signs and landmarks so we could navigate our way back to the Riad. The front desk helped us arrange taxis when we needed them and helped arrange transportation for a day trip to Imlil and eventually to the airport. Almost everyone spoke a little bit of English when our high school French failed us! The Riad is in a great location if you like a good walk and have good shoes which we do. You see so much more on your feet than in a taxi! And you feel quite accomplished when you find your way back! The breakfast to start off each day was plentiful, varied and delicious. Dinner was good although we only ate in once. In the evening there was a lovely fire and glass of wine. (You do not find alcohol in many places in Morocco.) The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We loved each Riad experience we had in other cities- each was different in its own way- but Riad Nashira was by far the most comfortable and accommodating for these American tourists.

The riad is in a dangerous location - we were threatened by men at the beginning of the alley to the riad, who then followed us to the riad. We therefore moved from the riad after the first night. The riad and expedia were very good and refunded us for the second night, but I do not recommend this riad. I have been to Marrakech 3 times before and have not been unsafe in this way before. It is a shame - the riad is very nice indeed.

We loved our stay - it really was a wonderful oasis of calm and comfort, away from the hustling Médina. Facilities were great, definitely get a hammam at the spa! Loved the roof terrace. The food was great, we became tagine obsessed. Really helpful staff and the waiters were most gracious and helpful. It felt safe, which might sound an odd thing to say, but there were many occasions outside in the medina where we didn’t feel so safe. Would definitely recommend the riad nashira.

This small hotel is an oasis in the heart of the medina. The staff were simply amazing and could not do enough to help/please you. Beautiful. Only complaint about the actual hotel was the pool. It was FAR too cold making it virtually unusable. Secondly be prepared to get VERY lost. Sorry but not a good location. You are given directions but there are obviously no road names as you are walking through row upon row of stalls. It is a maze and can be very scary until you get used to the locals. You take your life in your hands sharing these narrow area with motorised scooters, donkey and cart and even cars (where they fit). Fabulous Hotel but would not return due to location.

Magic place to stay. Close to the souls, which we were helpfully guided to on the first day. Welcome tea and nibbles accompanied an overview from the manager Tarik, all in the calm of the courtyard. Pre arrival contact arranging transfer was a nice touch. Location was easy 10 minute walk to the souks. Spa was nice (according to my wife) and rooms and roof top terrace/bar were fabulous and comfortable. Small pool was perfect after a hot day in the streets.

Wonderful experience with first class service and a dedicated staff. We normally stay at places like Park Hyatt, Conrad, Four Season, or Intercontinental. We wanted to stay inside the Medina and the only places available were the Riads. Every time we have tried a boutique hotels it's been a disappointment. That is until we booked Riad Nishara and Spa. This was our first time in Marrakech. The Riad staff are very attentive and the premises are lovely. In general, the locals are gracious and friendly - but they do like to sell and bargain for their wares and (perceived) services. So be prepared to be constantly bombarded with pitches. This includes visits to sights, even if not actually a tour. Marrakech is not a place to "window shop", as it is often very time consuming to leave a shop once entered. There is an excellent sense of experiencing "real" life in Marrakech, but if the grandeur of Istanbul is what appeals to you, you will need to have rather different expectations.

The Hotel its self is very beautiful and the rooms are spacious (Superior Room) However on arrival we felt straight away that this not a 5 star Hotel (coming from El Fenn the Nashira Spa is more like a 4) The staff manager was very accomodating after we complained about are experience in the Spa (Having asked for a change of rodes because the ones we where given had stains and holes she grabbed it from me and stormed out, terrible attitude so we decided not to use these facilities and retreated to are room). My daughter also had to search for a member of staff to order a drink as the bar was not maned (I would like to point out that the drink was complimentary from the manager after the Spa experience) We did get SOME sleep but I think that's more about inconsiderate people than the rooms. Breakfast was great if you want mini pizza and cake or coco pops! and watered down yogurt! I just like a decent yogurt bit of fresh fruit and granola brown bread done! and the coffee was the worst I had during are Marrakesh visit. All in all I would not stay here again as I have said it is not staffed by 5 star standards, its a Hotel that's very forgettable you will not have a 5 star experience!

The staff at Riad Nashira and Spa were extremely friendly and probably the best part of our trip. Everything else was just ok. The venue didn't blow us away and the facilities were quite basic. Although the staff were great, I don't think the rest of the riad is enough to recommend it to others.

Staff are so helpful. We met Said, the receptionist on the first day, and he started to take care of us like family during our 4-day stays. The other staff also, especially an elder man and a young guy amont them. They gave us so much help. It is unbelievable. Money cannot buy this type of hospitality! They are truly kind and nice! The only thing which is left to be desired, is perhaps it would be better if we could also order some snacks or simple dishes from the hotel. The owner is an exceptionally nice person. We chatted a bit. He is so helpful and kind also. The hotel is simply beautiful. A paradise in downtown Marrakechi.

I booked 4 nights with my girlfriend but left after 1 night. The riad is based in an area of the Medina that is not safe. Taxi cannot access the entrance of the riad, therefore one need to walk a few minutes on a small street where teenagers stay all day/night long and you need to pass next to them since the street is just 3/4 meters large. Not safe at all tbh. Inside the riad, well it's clearly not a 5-star one. Shower is old and dirty, carpet also old and dusty, we could also hear neighbors... We ran away from this place.

After traveling all day long we were overwhelmed upon our entrance of the hotel and spa. The bed had us sleeping like babies every night, sound asleep and the showers were awesome. Any questions we had the staff at the front desk helped us out each time. We will definitely be back again Marrakech has very kind people and the food was not disappointing at all.
