Cons: Petit déjeuner - pas d'options, peu en quantité, uniquement sucré et répétitif. Pour 5 nuits, ce n'était pas suffisament intéressant, nous avons donc pris le petit déjeuner à l'exterieur plusieurs matin. Quelques réparations et aménagements à faire dans les salle de bain.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful in accommodating all our requests. We also took advantage of Hamid's guided tour service, which was really wonderful! Hamid is a very knowledgeable and competent person who showed us the hidden sides of Tetouan and Chefchaouen. I highly recommend it!

Cons: Pagamos 1 noche de más porque al hacer la reserva me equivoqué. Se lo dije y no me la quisieron quitar. Les dijimos que 1 día no hacía falta limpiar la habitación, ya que no íbamos a estar, y no nos dejaron ni toallas, ni papel de WC, ni jabón.

Hôtel qui a sauvegardé son architecture marocaine avec un patio bien agréable à côté des immeubles. Un havre de paix. Situation idéale pour parcourir la ville ancienne. Le port est à 20 mns à pied. La rue de l’hôtel monte ! L'accueil est chaleureux, ils parlent français. Propositions d'excursions avec Ahmid que nous recommandons. Très bon guide. Penser à visiter Assilah c'est un bijou au bord de l 'atlantique. Il faudrait développer les propositions d'excursions avec lui. Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Cons: Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas la possibilité de boire un pot ou thé à la menthe en dehors de l'ouverture de la cuisine pour le petit déjeuner (voir me^me de pâtisseries) . Le patio est tellement agréable, il a fallu aller à l'épicerie pour s'acheter ce qu'il fallait d'autant que les chaudes températures poussent à se désaltérer. Les excursions sont payables en espèces uniquement en euros...alors que l'hôtel a un terminal de carte bancaire. Nous avons demandé un taxi qui nous a été refusé sous prétexte que nous pouvons en héler un au carrefour en haut de la rue. Et pour finir pas de prospectus touristique sur Tanger ni même un plan de la ville. L'office de tourisme est très loin de l’hôtel dans la partie nouvelle de Tanger.

Cons: Nuestra habitación, la número 1, tenía una plaga de cucarachas que salían de abajo de una de las camas. Reclamamos al personal, primero nos dieron una especie de Raid, cuando empezamos a sentirnos ahogados y las cucarachas seguían saliendo de abajo de la cama, nos cambiaron de habitación al tercer piso y ahí estuvimos muy bien.

Cons: Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations in several key areas. First and foremost, the room was overrun with mosquitoes. It was quite uncomfortable, to say the least. The lack of air conditioning only exacerbated the issue, as I had to keep the windows open for ventilation. However, this led to an influx of mosquitoes every time I opened them, and there were no nets to keep them out. I found it extremely difficult to relax or sleep due to the constant buzzing and biting Additionally, the internet connection was unstable throughout my stay. I had trouble connecting and maintaining a reliable signal, which was frustrating, especially since I needed to stay connected for work Breakfast was another letdown. The options were limited and lacked freshness. I expected a variety of choices, but the offerings were disappointing in both quality and taste. With improvements in pest control, internet reliability, and breakfast quality, this hotel could significantly enhance guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it based on my recent stay

The only positive thing about this place is the location. Otherwise, it was a very disappointing experience. The room was in poor condition – the mattress was uncomfortable, the breakfast was very basic, and overall the hotel was not worth the €60 we paid. Definitely not value for money. When we arrived, we discovered many ants in the room. We complained to the staff, and their solution was to spray insect poison, which had a strong smell that made it impossible to stay in the room. We asked for a different room, but were told the hotel was fully booked. After contacting the booking service, we were finally given another room – but unfortunately, it was even worse n the new room, the air conditioning was leaking directly onto an electrical socket, which was extremely unsafe. Water was also pooling on the floor. We had to turn off the air conditioning, but even then, it continued to drip. This made it impossible to sleep or feel safe. Overall, a very bad experience. For the same price, especially now that the summer season is over, we could have stayed somewhere much better.

Cons: Apart from the location, everything else was bad. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone

La ubicación es de 10 ya que está cerca de todo la playa está a 5 minutos literal ! Tienes Carrefour al lado .. y la avenida principal a 4 minutos .. que mas puedes pedir? Youssef nos atendió a la llegada y ala salida es una persona encantadora nos ayudó con todo nuestro equipaje y nos llevó hasta el taxi solicitado a las 04:30 de la madrugada ,

El alojamiento se encuentra cerca de la zona céntrica, el desayuno está bien.

Cons: La habitación disponía de aire acondicionado pero cuando llegamos al alojamiento y lo encendimos no funcionaba, lo comunicamos en recepción y se sorprendieron de que no funcionara( cosa que creemos que ya lo sabían que no funcionaba)y nos dijeron que iban a arreglarlo al día siguiente, lo cual nunca se produjo, ni lo arreglaron ni nos cambiaron de habitación ni nada… menos mal que no hacía mucha calor y pudimos abrir las ventanas y corría algo de aire. La ducha está un poco estropeada y no sale bien el agua y se desenrosca todo el rato. Para el precio que tiene, deberían de cuidar más las instalaciones y tenerlo un poco más arreglado ya que le sacarían bastante más partido.

Cons: Não estava muito limpo, a cortina do duche não funciona/prende. A casa de banho estava cheia de melgas que não nos deixaram dormir. Confiamos nos serviços do hostel para transporte para o aeroporto e pagamos 4 vezes mais do que um táxi comum que teríamos apanhado na rua facilmente àquela hora. Ainda por cima sem ser táxi profissional, naquilo que nos pareceu um esquema de amigos. À última da hora ainda nos disseram que seria 250 MAD quando inicialmente disseram 200. Incrível aproveitarem-se da confiança dos clientes.

Das Hotel ist gut positioniert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zum marokkanischen Frühstück gibt es Brot mit Brot :)

Cons: Es ist sehr schmutzig im Hotel. Selbst einfache Dinge wie das Abwischen von Staub von den Tischen auf der Terrasse werden nicht erledigt. Es sieht so aus, als wäre seit Monaten kein Staub mehr gewischt worden. In unserem WC war gleich beim Eintreten schon jemand vor uns und hat nicht gespült.

Cons: The big issue was that it they had WiFi, on the upper floors there wasn't the signal was too weak, on the ground floor the WiFi was very poor and dropped out frequently, when you were connected it was very slow. So overall it would be more accurate to say there was no usable WiFi.

Si vous voulez dormir dans un style maghrébin, c'est le meilleur endroit. Le petit déjeuner Marocain est très bon et largement suffisant, avec le plus important le thé à la menthe et le msemen. Tout le personnel est aimable et serviable. Juste eut quelque petites coupures de climatisation et électricité mais le personnel intervient rapidement. La chambre Deluxe a la clim. Si vous voulez le changement de serviettes et qu'ils vous fassent la chambre il faut laisser la clé à l'accueil.

No pudimos dormir la primera noche por la cantidad de mosquitos que teníamos en la habitación y al día siguiente pedimos cambio de habitación y tuvimos que comprar un enchufe porque ellos nos daban un spray que olía a muerto que no se podía dormir con ese olor y encima con la ventana cerrada, para que no entrase los mosquitos. Nada recomendable horroroso.

Cons: I stayed only one night at Dar Omar al Khayam, and honestly, it was one of the most uncomfortable stays I’ve ever had. There were many mosquitoes in the room, which forced us to keep the windows closed. Unfortunately, the air conditioning did not work, making the heat unbearable. Sleeping was impossible — I was awake the entire night. The hotel’s overall condition urgently needs improvement. The sheets and pillowcases, while clean, had visible stains. The floor was dusty, the bathroom had a bad odor, the sink faucet made an annoying noise, and the shower had no proper temperature control — it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. There was also some outside noise, but that was minor compared to the discomfort caused by the heat and mosquitoes. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made. It’s a shame, because with some attention, it could offer a much more pleasant experience.

El hotel está situado en la zona nueva de Tánger, a unos 10-15 min andando de la playa y a 10 min andando a la Medina. Nosotros cogimos 3 habitaciones con baño privado. La habitación no es gran cosa, no esperes mucho, pero a nosotros, para el tiempo que estábamos allí y que solo vamos a ducharnos y dormir, nos valía. Pedimos un ventilador en la recepción y nos lo dieron, gracias a eso las noches se hicieron más agradables. Limpian la habitación cada día, el desayuno nos encantó. Y el jardín tiene mucho encanto. El personal es súper agradable y respetuoso.

Cons: Hay que subir una gran cuesta para acceder al hotel, las habitaciones no huelen bien aunque es verdad que una vez dentro ya no lo notas tanto.

Cons: Stairs were a trip hazard, I fell down and hurt myself. I was charged for breakfast even though it is stated as all inclusive online. I found the staff to be particularly pushy, especially when it came to paying for the breakfast which was supposed to be inclusive. The staff didn’t even give me enough time to unpack my things and settle down after a long flight before knocking on my door and pressuring me to go down and pay for breakfast as the man wanted “to go home”. Also the property does not reflect the pictures online it is much more run down, there are no blinds in the room so unless you want people in the streets to see you getting changed you have to do it in the dark. The toilet had brown stuff in it, it had clearly not been cleaned prior to my arrival. The breakfast was dry and over priced. I left just after breakfast and did not stay as I felt too uncomfortable.

Cons: Ese encanto del pasado en la habitación le juega una mala pasada, porque es demasiado básica. Limpia y confortable, pero tiene detalles que empeoran la experiencia, y es una pena porque son fácilmente subsanables: no hay papelera ni en el baño, la cortina de ducha mohosa, no hay armario ni burro para colgar la ropa, ni espejo de cuerpo entero, y la iluminación es mejorable. Pero repito: limpio y confortable. Y subrayo el encanto del lugar y la amabilidad del personal.

Cela fait plus de 20 ans que je voyages, fait des audits dans des hôtels à travers le monde, chaque année je descend au Maroc et fait escale par Tanger et essaie à chaque fois un nouveau mode d’hébergement (hôtel, apparhotel, Riad) mais là, entre la description sur le site et en vrai, ce n’est plus de la déception c’est du mensonge. Donc pour faire court (pas de parking comme préciser, pas de télévision qui marche et ont vous dis tout simplement que ça ne marche pas, nettoyage des chambres et de la salle de bains, déplorable (ma femme n’a même pas voulu laver ma fille dedans) et je ne vous parle pas du fameux déjeuner continental qui je pense pour le dirigent de l’hôtel, cela correspond à une crêpe, un croissant et un café ou chocolat et un petit verre de jus d’orange et surtout n’allez pas demander un supplément, car tout de suite un des membres du personnel vous sort comme phrase « vous en avez pour votre argent » énorme la réflexion

Très bel hôtel, confortable et le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins. Au petit déjeuner un jus d’orange pressé, un msemen, thé ou café, du pain avec beurre et confiture et un petit pain au chocolat. L’endroit est très calme et proche de toute commodité. Je vous recommande de faire le bus rouge Travel city qui offre un billet pour 2 jours et vous pouvez accéder à de multiples endroits sans avoir les côtes à monter et si vous avez une carte PMR c’est moitié prix.

Buena relacion calidad precio. Ubicacion buenisima. Es antiguo, vintage. El sitio es muy bonito con un patio sensacional. limpio y las duchas muy bien. Desayuno rico. No entiendo a la gente que critica deben de vivir en palacios. Por ese precio no se puede pedir mas y el personal siempre dispuesto a ayudae. Si necesitas algo o se acaba algo se pide y ya esta. Nos pidieron taxi para la vuelta al aeropuerto y fenomenal.

La ubicación es ideal. Hay que tener en cuenta que Tanger es una ciudad con muchas cuestas y para ir a la medina desde el hotel, hay que bajar una cuesta enorme y volver a subir. Está algo lejos de la medina pero el paseo es agradable. El patio interior es agradable también.

La ubicación: puedes llegar directamente desde la Estación de Ferry andando. Apenas a 15 minutos en un grato paseo por el Boulevard Mohammed V llegarás a la calle donde se encuentra el establecimiento. Se encuentra a la mano de toda la zona administrativa de Tánger: tiene cerca la Corte de Apelación y numerosas oficinas, además de tener un buen centro comercial cerca. Además, para visitar la zona histórica, Kasbah, Medina, etc, está tan solo a un paseo agradable de 15 minutos. Por otro lado, la zona es muy muy tranquila y tiene parking fácilmente, si tienes vehículos. El desayuno es correcto, sin posiblidad de elección, pero suficiente para una mañana de actividad. El personal era agradable y dispuesto y cualquier cosa que pudieras necesitar lo atendían rápidamente. En definitiva, un 7 de 10, porque las instalaciones podrían mejorar en: productos de higiene para el baño (champú, gel), calidad de las toallas (tamaño y composición), calidad de la Wi-Fi (es inestable y con poca radio), servicios en zonas comunes, así como el estado de conservación de determinados elementos. Pero todo esto se ve compensado por la amabilidad, la atención solícita, el entorno, que es hermoso, con un gran patio interior con mesas, sillas y sillones, con mucha vegetación que hace agradable estar allí y, como ya dicho, la localización.

Cons: Hubo una confusión con la asignación de la habitación a la llegada, pero lo solventaron con una rapidez extraordinaria.

We had the bigger deluxe suite but on the street side, which is noisy. The room is sort of quaint Moroccan style and everything is a bit dated and very basic. It is a 3 star hotel/bed and breakfast. No standard hairdryer no coffee and tea making facilities. Shower is lukewarm or hot and needs tinkering to get it right. Bed is okay and linnen is clean. Halls can be noisy with people talking or banging doors. We were there in the low season, but i imagine high season with more people there it can get noisier. Floors are tiled so a good sounding board for noise. Breakfast was three different kinds of bread with 1 butter and 1 jam, orange juice, coffee or tea. Anything more comes at a price. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Trying to get in touch with them by phone is an issue as it goes to voicemail in Arabic. First response to email about the transfer from the airport was swift but a mysterie if a taxi would be waiting for us afterwards as we received no confirmation of the booking even though we asked in english and Arabic. Glad it all worked out.

Random choice on booking.com - cheap with no frills. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There were some building works happening which they apologized for. While not a super fancy modern hotel, this has some old fashioned/local charm which I appreciate. Nice and quiet despite being very central. Location is excellent - 2 min from beach and 10-15min from Medina. Can imagine it is a family run place - certainly felt that way.

Cons: Found it slightly cold (I was there off season in March) - only one thin blanket was provided. Bit of a ramshackle vibe, but some of us like that ;)

We enjoyed this accommodation very much. Located very close to the "newer" area of Tangier and close to the beach. The staff was very friendly, and we really enjoyed the central courtyard that featured lots of seating options. When we had a later flight, we stayed in this courtyard for a good amount of time even though we had checked out. Also, they arranged a taxi to the airport for us, which was helpful. The rooms are simple (the beds were a little hard) but lived up to the expectations in the photos.

The room provided at Dar Omar Khayam was very nice. Breakfast was normal and the juice and coffee was very good. The advise and guidance for city tour provided at the reception was very helpful. The hotel is very close to the main street with 2 to 5 mins walk for dinner options and 15 mins walk to the Medina. The pier and corniche nearby were very relaxing for a long walk in the evening or after dinner. Cabs are easily available with just a 2 min downhill walk.

Long story short: I overslept for my original flight, tried to rush to the airport, but it was to late. At 8 in the morning I made an online reservation at Dar Omar, but unfortunately they didnt any room available when I arrived, and the normal check-in time was at 14. I was offered breakfast, and was more than welcomed to rest in the lounge while I waited for a room. After breakfast the sweet maids rushed(!!) to get a room clean for me, and to my surprise I was already handed the keys at 11! The room and bath was very clean, I had a nice view over the courtyard, and the whole place lived up to my expectation. Normally I dont visit the same place twice, but I think I will make an exception here at the dar!

Cons: Mosquitos en la habitación , no se pudo dormir la primera noche , para la segunda compre un auyentador eléctrico. El precio del taxi para el aeropuerto subió dos veces hasta los 250 dirham , creo que lo normal son unos 150 más o menos.

Cons: The experience is terrible, there is a musty smell when you enter, the bed feels unclean, your face is itchy when you sleep, and the worst thing is that the bathroom spray is moldy, the floor is dirty, the experience is really bad. This hotel is outside of the medina, something I appreciated because getting lost in the little streets of Tangier's medina is quite easy and I wanted to avoid that at night. It's approximately 20 minutes walk from the medina, so quite easy! Nice and helpfull staff. They booked a taxi for us to go to the airport, and printed our bording passes. The terrace is pretty and comfortable. They provide soap, shampoo, toilet paper, towels, blankets and sheets.

Cons: A little far away from the touristy area and the main attractions in Tangier. Difficult to find a nice place to eat in the evening around the hotel.

Lo mejor del alojamiento es su ubicación ya que estás cerca del centro, pero en una zona más tranquila para descansar, y además con la playa al lado. Y el personal del hotel es muy amable.

Cons: El hotel está un poco descuidado, poca limpieza. Además está lleno de mosquitos, deberían poner mosquiteras, en una ciudad como Tanger, es necesario. Además está muy viejo, de hecho se nos cayó el palo de la cortina que era de hierro lo cual podia ser peligroso si nos hubiera caido encima.

Cons: Desayuno muy muy pobre, no cambian las toallas, no hacen la habitación, no hay papel higiénico, no hay productos de higiene ni tan siquiera una pastilla de jabón, llenó de mosquitos, te pica todo el cuerpo si te tapas con las sábanas, en la cama no hay interruptor de la luz solo una lámpara, el mando de la televisión no funcionaba, He estado en Nador, Fez, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Beni Melal, Essauria y este establecimiento es el peor con diferencia. Tiene todo para ser un gran establecimiento pero les falta personal , limpieza , desayuno más adecuado y adecuar las instalaciones de la habitación.

Que me cambiaron de habitación. Me imprimieron la tarjeta de embarque para la vuelta.

Cons: Sin aire acondicionado, sin calefacción. Un día sin toallas, mosquitos enormes. Habitación con ruido. Si es verdad que me cambiaron la habitación porque la primera fue muy mala, y me cambiaron a una mejor. El desayuno incluido es malo, son tortas con mermelada. Por ese precio es mejor coger un apartamento.

Schönes Ambiente inmitten einem städtischen Hochhausviertel mit einem sehr schönen Innenhof. Zentral gelegen. Fußläufig zur Altstadt. Nicht weit vom Hafen und Bahnhof. Freundliches Personal. Sie haben bei Anfragen immer sofort reagiert. Check-in und Check-Out war reibungslos. Direkt um die Ecke, gegenüber der Marina Tanja, haben wir zu guten Preisen marokanische Klamotten gekauft von guter Qualität.

Cons: Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber entspricht wohl dem marrokanischen Standard. Ich habe auch andere Hotels in Marokko genutzt und da war es genauso. Der frischgepresste Orangensaft war gut. Etwas frisches Obst oder Joghurt wäre super.. Der Café und der Minztee war sehr lecker.

Cons: Emplacement un peu trop éloigné du centre historique, situé dans un groupe d' immeubles années 70, un lieu de passage relativement bruyant. L’hôtel est vétuste , ( ça résonne beaucoup la nuit , et les équipements ( douche, toilettes sont défaillants. Petit dej moyen , prévoir 10 DRH de plus si vous voulez une deuxième tasse de café ( oui oui ).

Cons: Все очень старенькое и общее впечатление неряшливости, можно заменить матрасы, они скрипят и проваливаются , подушки твердые, как на бревнах, одеяло бы заменить, укрыться дали простынь и поверх покрывало которое вообще не понятно стирается ли. На унитазе крышка, как будто грязь прям втерта, не смогла на нее сесть ( простите за подробности), и у нас были окна на дорогу, шум от мотоциклов , спать сложно, кто чутко спит, а с утра начали петь чайки, да так громко, что я в начале вообще не поняла что за крик))), в общем не рекомендую. Завтрак три варианта хлеба: Круассан, лепешка и жареная лепешка. Чай был вкусный, с мятой. Добавить бы зелень, овощи, фрукты, сыр.
