The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The staff, in general, were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. In terms of security, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay, thanks to the well-organized system and professional security team. The dining experience was also outstanding, offering a wide variety of high-quality dishes, along with a rich and satisfying breakfast that caters to different tastes. Le petit déjeuner est assez complet, dommage que les msemen, harcha et pancakes soient de qualité moyenne. J’aurais suggéré qu’une personne puisse les préparer sur place, cela aurait été un vrai plus pour la prestation de service.

Wat een geweldig hotel op een perfecte locatie! Alles ligt op loopafstand: het strand, de stad en diverse shopping malls. Ideaal als je zowel wilt ontspannen als de omgeving wilt ontdekken. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en comfortabel met grote bedden. De sfeer in het hotel is warm en ontspannen. De fitnessruimte is uitzonderlijk groot en modern uitgerust – echt een pluspunt als je ook tijdens je verblijf actief wilt blijven. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en uitgebreid, met voor ieder wat wils. Het allerbeste aan ons verblijf was zonder twijfel het personeel. Zó vriendelijk, behulpzaam en dag en nacht voor je klaarstaand. Een speciale dank aan Farina – wat een topper! Wij komen hier zeker weer terug!

Spacious room with a balcony. Very courteous staff. They were very responsive to my requests. That is a plus that makes a difference. Great value for money.
Cons: Just comments for improvement. Milk or creamer for coffee in room, would be nice. Also a better selection of tea bags. Some breakfast items would be better warm, e.g. pastries. Bread is better when left covered, so as not to dry easily. Also, some hotels tend to take out food in smaller quantities, and replenish as it is being consumed. It keeps products more free and and limits waste. Hotel is easy to reach from old town with a petit taxi, which is cheap and worth the experience. The walk there is of some 45 minutes. I believe Maroc has LOTS to offer and can be one of the best tourist destinations, this country has so much more potential!

Location: it is very close to the train station, less than 10 min walk which make it if you are traveling by train. Also it is 40 min walk to the old Madina, or you can take a taxi. I enjoyed walking along the promenade from the hotel to the old Madina. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel. The promenade/ beach was like 5 min walk from the hotel. Room size: room was very sizeable and bed was comfortable. Room was recently renovated so was very nice. Breakfast: it was very diverse and plenty of seating. Staff: In general all the staff were very helpful and nice.

Cons: Bedje voor mijn 6 jarig kind was er niet, mijn zoontje moest bij ons in bed slapen terwijl er bij het boeken stond dat het verblijf van ons kind was inbegrepen. Na het inchecken zou het bedje geregeld worden. We hebben daarna 3 keer nog om een bedje gevraagd en iedere keer zou het worden geregeld. Om 23:00 uur in de avond kregen we te horen dat de bedjes al aan anderen waren gegeven en wij het zelf moesten oplossen. Geen excuses of iets. De dag erna precies hetzelfde verhaal. Pas op de laatste dag is een bedje geregeld.

Le professionnalisme de l’ensemble de l’équipe ( du voiturier qui prend les clés de votre voiture pour aller trouver une place pour vous) aux personnes en charge de l’accueil et du départ. Tout est fait pour que vous ne pensiez qu’aux vacances. Le petit dejeuner était top et varié avec des produits frais. Le ménage de la chambre parfaitement effectué. Je recommande cet hotel pour les familles avec enfants sans soucis. La piscine paraissait assez petite sur les photos maos au final cela suffit amplement.

Nous avons tout apprécié dans cet hôtel, la localisation près de la gare, l’accueil du personnel très chaleureux, leur gentillesse, bienveillance et professionnalisme ainsi que la propreté, le confort du lit, les équipement et le petit-déjeuner. Le personnel est accueillant et très serviable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et impeccablement propres. Le petit-déjeuner, quant à lui, était varié et délicieux. L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal en plein centre-ville, ce qui facilite les déplacements. Il se trouve à seulement 20 minutes en voiture de l’aéroport et à 2 minutes à pied de la gare TGV, permettant de rejoindre facilement des villes comme Casablanca ou Rabat. À proximité, vous trouverez le Tanger City Mall, un centre commercial moderne où vous pourrez faire du shopping, vous restaurer, et profiter de deux aires de jeux pour les enfants. Je prévois de revenir cet été pour profiter pleinement de la ville.

No entanto, o hotel contactou um guia excelente, o senhor Wafi, que fala imensas línguas e que recomendo vivamente: muito simpático, bem-disposto e com um grande sentido de humor. O hotel fica localizado fora da medina, o que para nós, que viajámos de carro, facilitou muito o acesso, contando ainda com parque de estacionamento.
Cons: O que podia ter sido melhor foi a noite de Ano Novo: o preço não era assim tão baixo para a organização e a qualidade da comida. Ainda assim, diverti-me.

The location was great, the staff were friendly and it felt very secure due to security guards present. The room was really nice even if it was a bit dated and the bed was very comfy. I would definitely stay again, although I do not think it is a 5 star hotel, it is more of a 4 star hotel.
Cons: The hotel room was nice although a bit dated and the soundproofing from the streets was great although not from the corridor where you could hear people, muffled talking in other rooms and the TV from the room with a shared wall. The bathroom was also not as clean as I would have liked as I could see hair from a previous guest on the floor. The breakfast was the same everyday, and the hot food which was in buffet trays was stone cold. The omelette and msemen station were great along with fresh fruits and all but still repetitive and a bit dull. Another thing that was really irritating was that the towels were not changed when room keeping did their housekeeping in the morning, and instead they came in the afternoon to deliver. Twice I was disturbed in the afternoon while having a nap and once housekeeping almost walked in while I was in the shower. The sound proofing from the street was great, although I had to open the window to let cool air in since the air-conditioning was not really efficient (or maybe not working). A cash machine on site would be fantastic. Overall it was pricey for a 5 star hotel with 4 star quality, and I believe I overpaid.

Our room was nice and the bathroom was a good size. The beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a table to eat at in the room. There is a table on the balcony, however it was a bit chilly during our stay.
Cons: The door to the balcony in our room didn’t completely seal when closed so you could hear all the traffic noise. It rained while we were there and the carpet in my parents room got wet by their balcony door. There were several issues with room service . It was not easy to order and when it came time to pay , the machine didn’t work 2 or of 3 times we ordered room service.

Je viens de séjourner 3 nuits au royal tulip, quel regret, je rentre avec une dette de sommeil monstrueuse, malgré que les portes et balcon soient fermés, c’est comme si elles étaient ouverte, on en attend la circulation, les Klaxons, le vent, les gens qui discutent. Ce n’est absolument pas insonorisé. J’ai demandé des boules quies, ils n’ont pas su m’en fournir. Lors de la première nuit, j’ai pu déposer mes effets personnels et repartir pour un événement, en rentrant à 1h du matin je me suis aperçue qu’il n’y avais aucun linge dans la salle de bain, si ce n’est le tapis de bain. La qualité du petit déjeuner et à mon sens médiocre pour un hôtel qui revendique le « luxe » dans son appellation. Les plats du room service en revanche étaient excellent, mais sans sommeil on apprécie pas grand chose, c’était vraiment affreux, j’ai du dormir avec mon casque et réduction de bruit. La décoration est relativement ancienne, les chambres sont peu lumineuse, certaines lumières ne fonctionnaient pas. En fin de compte, j’aurais aimé écourter mon séjour et je n’y reviendrais pas. Le prix payé n’était clairement pas justifié

بصراحة لم اسكن في الفندق رغم اني حجزت فيه لان تقيمه عالي في البوكنج. لكن حينما ذهبت له وجدت فندق قديم لم يعجبني من النظرة الأولى. لكن للأمانة لم انزل في الفندق .

Ich bin zweimal im Jahr in Tanger und immer in diesem Hotel, das einen direkten Zugang zu einem Fitnesscenter hat. Das ist mich für ein grosses Plus. Bei der Ankunft wurde ein Früchtekorb auf dem Zimmer offeriert. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Eine grosse Flasche Mineralwasser steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung, sowie Hausschuhe zum Mitnehmen.
Cons: Beim guten Frühstück fehlt Fisch (Lachs oder Hering).

Le petit homme à la réception le jeune qui étais là le soir dés mon arrivée était très agréable et la note est montée à 5 que grâce à lui qui as vu ma déception et ma proposée une très bonne chambre avec la vue sur mer et les deux monsieurs qui s’occupait des bagages le matin

Justement on réserve dans des établissement étoilées pour le service client qui n’étais pas vraiment au rdv … Pas un bonjour de la part des portières ni de la personne à côté de l’ascenseur même pas un aide avec les sacs.. très décevant vous pouvez voir dans les caméras leurs comportements vraiment pas un comportement dans un hôtel 4 étoiles .. il faudrait aussi revoir les lits qui ne sont pas confortables

Le buffet petit déjeuner était top et varié ! La nourriture est de qualité + celle du room service top ! L’hôtel est propre et merci au service de nettoyage pour ses petites attentions (tout particulièrement à Touria). Literie confortable et lit suffisamment spacieux.
Cons: Je trouve cependant que le prix est un peu élevé pour le standing des chambres car la vue n’est vraiment pas top sur la route et places limitées pour le buffet du matin donc levez vous tôt si vous ne voulez pas attendre qu’une table se libère ! L’hôtel est situé à 45 min à pieds de la vieille ville !

The hotel location is perfect for the airport, train station, amenities and old town. Staff were friendly and welcoming and took our ideas to plan a fantastic 50th birthday party. Food Director Anasse A you are amazing at what you do thank you. You guys went above and beyond to make our stay and party exceptional. The food was tasty,amazing and reasonably priced. Live Band 😍 these guys were so good we danced and enjoyed the atmosphere. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The housekeeping team kept the rooms clean The reception staff helped with booking taxis, swift check in and check out.

We hebben hier een fantastische week beleefd. Het hele team van Royal Tulip is bijzonder gastvrij, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik had aan Aya (één van de supervriendelijke onthaalmedewerkers) verteld dat mijn vrouw en ik 10 jaar getrouwd zijn, waarna we onze kamer (die sowieso elke dag piekfijn in orde werd gebracht) 's avonds vonden als in een sprookje (met rozenblaadjes, een strik in de gordijnen, zwanen van handdoeken op het bed,...). Ook het ontbijt was voortreffelijk. Niets is teveel gevraagd voor het team dat daar werkt. Saïd (die o.m. de eitjes bakt) wist na enkele dagen perfect wat we graag eten en maakte dit al klaar voor we iets vroegen. Hij regelde ook extraatjes voor onze kids (vers fruit zoals granaatappels, allerlei lekkers). Het ontbijtbuffet is steeds gevarieerd, uitgebreid, vers en bijzonder lekker, maar als ik er één iets uit moet halen wil ik de ter plekke klaargemaakte msemen vermelden. Ook de spa is een voltreffer. Mijn vrouw heeft hier een avondje doorgebracht en heeft enorm genoten van de hamam en massage. Een echte aanrader over de hele lijn! Proficiat aan het hele hotelteam, wij komen zeker nog eens terug! Nous sommes parties en week-end entre filles pour la première fois et nous avons choisi la ville de Tanger. Nous souhaitions profiter de la ville, la plage... en étant dans un hôtel très bien situé et c'est le cas :) ! L'hôtel est à 2 min à pieds de la plage, des restaurants... et en face du Mall de Tanger. L'emplacement est idéal pour circuler à pied facilement et à proximité de toutes les zones importantes. L'hôtel est le personnel de l'hôtel 10 sur 10 car ils sont à l'écoute et font le maximum pour être serviable. Le petit déjeuner fantastique :) ! L'hôtel est vraiment au top....

A special mention goes to Fatine at the reception, she truly stands out. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with such warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness. Her smile instantly made me feel welcome after a long journey. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and attentive, always ready to assist with any request, big or small. What really stood out was how she treated every guest with the same care and respect — not just as a duty, but with real passion for her job. She’s a credit to the hotel and definitely one of the reasons I would return. At breakfast, Abdel Krim provided excellent service, always polite, friendly, and attentive. He made sure everything was perfect and never let my coffee cup stay empty for long. Aziz, the restaurant manager, also deserves recognition for his professionalism and leadership. He ensured the restaurant ran smoothly, checked on guests personally, and maintained a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but it’s truly the staff who make it special. A big thank you to Fatine, Abdel Krim, and Aziz for making my stay exceptional.
