Hermoso lugar, ubicado a menos de 5 minutos caminando de la Plaza Jemaa (muy céntrico). Nos quedamos en la suite, cama King, A/C, un baño enorme con doble lavabo, inodoro separado, ducha y bañera con hidromasaje. SmartTV con aplicaciones habituales. Un frigobar en la habitación. Arriba hay una terraza con tinajas de hidromasaje que se pueden usar durante el día, y un rooftop donde se pueden estar nice and chill, con reposeras y toldo. El personal muy amable y eficiente, en lo que bajas al desayuno ya tienen la habitación lista. El desayuno es simple, pero productos frescos y bastante buenos.

Le logement était top, propre, bien équipé et très bien placé dans la Médina. Situé dans une petite ruelle mais sans souci et au calme. Petit plus pour le jaccuzi ainsi le rooftop qui garantie une belle vue (et couchers de soleil sur la Koutoubia!) Mention spéciale pour les précieux conseils et disponibilités de Frédérique et Saïd, et la cuisine et gentillesse de Saïda ! Merci pour ce très bon séjour !

Lovely staff. Frederick was really lovely and did a super good presentation of the Medina when we arrived, including where the best places were to eat, shop, places to avoid and security tips for walking around the Souks. She madebus feel welcome, safe secure and reassured. Sayeed was the best host, he was really wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. His hospitality was superb, his breakfasts were amazing and his Moroccan mint tea was the best. The Jacuzzi was a nice touch also. And it was clean. The courtyard was lovely. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. I will miss Sayeed, Breakfast on the terrace and the mint tea. Air conditioning was working fine, which id great.

Cons: It was a bit expensive but that's because we needed two rooms because we are a family of four. There was a bit of a smell that came from the pool in the courtyard, which was a little disconcerting and not so pleasant. The wifi code needs to be written on the room information. The showers were not so great but there's not a lot that they can do about the showers.The water pressure was a little bit on the weak side.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and they contacted us a few times before we arrived. They also helped us get into a nearby very good restaurant at short notice. The breakfast was very generous in what was offered. The room was comfortable with a large bed.

Cons: The riad was tucked away down a back alley off the Medina so it was a bit of a walk in. The shower in the bathtub was a bit awkward and required you to step in very carefully to avoid slipping. The curtain over the main door didn't pull completely across so people passing by could see you in the room at night with the light on.

A truly lovely place. We found our way there 2 days prior to checking in.. only because I was travelling alone single female with a young daughter and I wanted to ms ake sure I knew the location arriving late after an excursion. Frederika the manager was so kind, welcomed us in and offered us drinks before she reassured us of everything. This was well prior to our arrival. Once booked in the staff were beyond acceptable, nothing was too much trouble. My young daughter was eager to use the rooftop jacuzzi, and although due to the weather it wasn't initially available the staff were eager to get it up n running so we could enjoy a night time relax after our excursion. I couldn't recommend this riad enough and would certainly be hoping there is availability for our next visit.

When the (two members of) staff were present, they were amazing. Unfortunately, they were often difficult to get hold of. We came down for breakfast one morning and other guests had been waiting for 15 minutes because no staff were in the building. We came back one evening hoping to get some help finding an English-speaking doctor but there were no staff members there (have video evidence of this). The breakfast was not particularly varied but the fresh orange juice and flatbreads were outstanding. Due to the check in issues, the owner comped me a massage but there is no spa onsite so it was going to be done in a waiting room however one guest room became vacant so it was done in there.

Cons: The Riad is in the Medina which is inaccessible to cars so you have to arrange with the Riad for a porter to collect you and bring you on foot. Despite numerous calls (mobile and landline), emails, WhatApps, and messages through the app, the owner left me and my family stranded, trying to find our way through the chaotic Medina labyrinth, where GPS is super spotty. When we raised this, she threatened to cancel our booking (have text evidence). She relented and said that she would comp us the porter and taxi to the airport when we left, only for us to be charged by the porter. She was present for one day then announced she was going on holiday and was not to be contacted. As the staff were often not present, calling the Riad landline would just ring out. Despite what the Riad website says, - there is no onsite restaurant (have audio message of the owner confirming this) - there is no onsite spa (have text message from the owner confirming this) The Riad is close to the main square but is down a very dark alley and there were often drug dealers at the end. My wife did not feel safe venturing down there on her own (and we lived in Haringay for 20 years).

Frederique was a lovely, welcoming host. We especially enjoyed the mint tea and explanation of the area on arrival. He really looked after us for our whole stay and the breakfasts were lovely. The location was very central - only a 5-10 minute walk to the main square where we could be picked up for excursions outside of the city.

Cons: If you use the airport transfer service, make sure to either pay the taxi driver directly and make a note of it, or pay through the riad. If someone in the square picks up your bags for you, give them a tip but not the full €20!! Everything else was great and the Riad were really kind to us when we realised we might have made a mistake.

I visited this Riad over 10 years ago (when I first visited Marrakech, single). LOVED IT. So I came back with my kids and they LOVED IT TOO! The rooftop jacuzzi was a huge hit, the rooms were nice and clean and they treated us very well. A huge thanks and shoutout to Said and Sayeda- they were exceptional and the breakfast was great (and their help and advice was super). If you want to experience the hussle bussle of the medina and stay somewhere close by - this Riad is ideal with superb food places nearby. I would highly recommend this Riad.

First things first, the staff was incredible. The location was great, even being central in a busy area, the riad was quite peaceful. Breakfast was great and the shared and private spaces were always kept clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at the riad. The staff is extremely helpful and very nice. The breakfast at the rooftop was really good. The manager of the riad made sure we have everything we need for the stay. I would definitely recommend staying here if you'd like to have easy access to the medina. Despite being in the centre, I was surprised how quiet it was!

Cons: It would have been better to add a photo of the entrance to the riad so it's easier to find. It's not too difficult, but a photo of the entry gate would make it a little easier to notice.

Cons: I have been given a non functional room, nothing was working , TV, AC ( damaged remote control), shower handle. The room was very cold and when I covered my self I got too hot basically I didn’t sleep as the level of comfort was 0. I was at risk to get sick and ruin all my travel. That’s why I decided to leave the following day and I was generous to ask for a refund to the second night only. I choose this place based on high rate but I hope there is no discrimination when giving rooms to guests and the service is standardized among all guests.

The breakfast was lovely and was catered towards us. We had such a lovely host Sayeed who went out of his way to actually wake up earlier than the time for normal to serve us breakfast as we had activities that day and had to leave early in the morning. The riad and rooms were up to date and clean. Alongside this the wifi was very good! We stayed in multiple different riads during our stay in Morocoo but me and my partner can confirm this way definitley the best by a mile. The additional luxurys off the hot tub and beautiful balcony view to overview medina was a surprise that allowed us to relax at night. Once again thankyou to our host Sayeed he is a lovely kind hearted attentive person who went out of his way to make us feel at home and well catered! :)

The room was very nice and bigger then we expected, also clean. The bathtube is little but very comfy! This Riad is perfect if you like to stay in the very center of La Medina. Good breakfast freshly prepared everyday, with few choices (all very good). We really appreciated the kindness and availability of the staff, they’ve been really nice with us and open to all of our needs/questions. Thanks to the guy that prepared us an orange juice at 4.30am before going to the airport, very kind of him :)

He was incredibly polite and friendly, as were all the staff. Rooms were a good size and very clean. We made good use of the hot tub and the breakfast was great. The location was also perfect, as it is very close to the square but far enough so that you don't hear a sound if you want to escape the hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend

I enjoyed my stay at the Riad Carllion. The staff were very supportive and attentive, going out of their way to help. The place itself was authentic. It was very quiet - I was on the terrace at the very top and it was perfect for sleeping. Having the terrace with chairs outside and the rooftop was nice although I couldn't really make use of it as it was too hot. It was 40 degrees on the day I arrived and didn't drop much over the five days. Would be perfect if I had gone when it's about 22-25 degrees. It's easily accessible from all the hustle and bustle of the market and main square. Said and Fredericka were very kind and so hospitable, making the stay enjoyable.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that there is really no swimming pool. There is a pool, but it's a bit of a misrepresentation on the website because it's a 'body of water' in that sense but not a pool you can swim in and it's inside. That's partly my fault however as I didn't look into it enough. Being a traditional Riad would mean there isn't a pool unless they were to have one put in on a rooftop for example. On one of the very hot days, I did attempt to go in but the water was so cold- like ice and so I gave up. Also, it's right in the main reception area and would feel uncomfortable in a swimsuit there. Not the fault of the Riad of course, it's the design of the building. The breakfast was ok, but not exceptional. I would have liked more variety and was so looking forward to something really special in Marrakesh. The other factor is that it is very small - perhaps only four to six rooms? I'm not sure. There isn't really a focal point and so you can't meet other travellers. As I was alone, that would have been nice. The room I was in was very small and there was no dressing table. The lighting in the bathroom was not great for make-up and it would have been nice to have that. The whole place could do with some beautiful flowers and general foliage. It was a bit bland.

The staff are amazing especially Sahib and Isa. They seem genuinely pleasured to make sure you enjoy your stay. We originally had a standard room booked which was slightly disappointing when we saw it. However, the general manager gave us a free up grade to a superior room the next morning and it was fantastic. The pool was cold but the jacuzzi was great. They cleaned our room (including fresh bedding and towels) everyday. Great location close to the square but in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle. Would recommend!!

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti presso questo hotel. Lo staff è stato molto cortese e disponibile. La struttura gradevole anche se le foto della piscina ingannano in quanto è davvero piccola nella realtà. La stanza era di dimensioni ridotte ma abbastanza pulita. Nel complesso la pulizia dell’hotel è stata soddisfacente ma si può migliorare soprattutto nelle zone comuni e nella zona jacuzzi. Il punto forte dell’hotel è la posizione e la disponibilità delle staff.

Hôtel cher pour ce que c'est. Propreté des chambres qui laisse à désirer: pendant toute la durée du séjour, soit une semaine, les sols ne sont pas faits, des peluches par terre. Ne marcher pas pieds nus dans la chambre, vous vous retrouverez les pieds sales. Pour le hammam, il n'y a pas de salle de vapeur. C'est une seule personne par jour qui peut faire un hammam à cause d'un problème d'eau chaude. Le petit déjeuner est nullissime. Ce n'est pas un petit déjeuner marocain qu'on vous servira. Je déconseille de prendre du thé car la théière est dégueulasse. Elle est rouillée à l'intérieur. Le personnel est hypocritement poli. J'espère que leurs dénigrements ne vous générons pas. La gérante de l'hôtel vous la reconnaitrai facilement puisque qu'elle vous dévisagera sans vous dire bonjour. Hôtel trop cher prestation nullissime. Je déconseille

De personeel was Top, vooral Said die keihard werkt en zo behulpzaam is. De excursies hebben wij ook via de Riad zelf geboekt. Alles verliep goed met de transfer etc. Het ontbijt vonden we iets minder, het werd koud geserveerd en was niet vers. Riad kamer(suite) zag er netjes uit,alleen vonden we de kamerhygiene iets minder. Das Riad ist ca 5 Gehminuten von Jemaa el-Fnaa, also sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Ein idealer Ausgangsort für Sightseeing, Shoppen und Relaxen. Wir waren in Marrakesch zum Golfspielen und dafür ist es nicht unbedingt der ideale Stanort, da ab 13:00 Uhr der Jemaa el-Fnaa für den Verkehr gesperrt wird und man ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss zum Riad gehen muss (nicht ideal mit Golfbag). Ich würde sofort wieder hier hin gehen, auch aus dem Grund weil das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich ist.

A small Riad which offers you everything you need. It was right in the Medina, so you could go everywhere by walking. You take 5 minutes from the FNA square to arrive. In a very seecure street. Everyone working there was kind, respectful and generous. They gave us a bigger room with no extra charge, and they also offered the transport from and to the airport for free. They helped us with every doubt and every request. The hotel has a really nice stile, the room was super confortable, the bathroom was amazing, it has a really nice pool inside the patio and although is small you can take a break there. It also has a jacuzzi and a super cool terrace on the roof top. Since it is so small, 5 rooms if I'm not wrong, it's the perfect place to relax, because is quite and you don't find people everywhere. The jacuzzi was empty everytime we wanted to use it. The room had a big TV and air conditioner, and the Riad offered you therapies, as massages, and excursions. The breakfast was really nice, with delicious fruits, just made juice, bread, etc. The wifi connection runs perfectly. Amazing price for such a great quality

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Riad Carllian, as we set foot within the Riad we received a warm welcome from the owner accompanied with traditional mint tea and Morrocan sweets. The owner and staff could not be more helpful, providing advice about the Riad and also activities and sites that we may be interested in while in Marrakesh. The Riad felt like a home from home, the room that we stayed in had a lovely contemporary decor and was cleaned to a good standard daily.
