> Localisation sensationnelle au coeur même de la médina tout en étant situé dans une ruelle très calme. > Situé à proximité de la Place EL MECHOUAR (1 minute à pied) avec un accès facile à pied pour le marché ou encore la SOURCE BLEUE. > Accueil chaleureux de la part de MUSTAPHA qui a su par ailleurs me mettre en relation avec un loueur de voiture et un chauffeur pour une escapade privée dans les environs de GUELMIM (Mes remerciements donc à MUSTAPHA ainsi qu'à LAHCEN mon chauffeur très prévenant). > Aïcha, la patronne, est également une personne très agréable et souriante. Appréciation qui vaut pour les deux 1ères nuits passées tout début septembre 2025 dans l'appartement disposant de 3 lits simples. A noter que les 2 chambres à l'étage étaient impeccables et très joliment agencées avec aussi une terrasse appréciée.
Cons: Localisation top au coeur même de la médina avec un accueil prévenant et chaleureux!

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil du Lieu, très sympathique et avenant. Le cadre est très joli, avec une belle décoration. Les repas sont très bons. La chambre est confortable. Un parking est tout à coté et le lieu est au cœur de la ville.

Ho trascorso una notte meravigliosa al Riad Le Lieu e non potrei essere più soddisfatta! L’accoglienza dello staff è stata calorosa e disponibilissima, ci hanno fatto sentire subito a casa. La camera era pulita, confortevole e arredata con gusto in perfetto stile marocchino. Il riad è tranquillo, ben posizionato nel cuore della medina, a pochi passi dai souk e dai principali punti di interesse della città. Il patio interno e la terrazza rendono l’atmosfera ancora più rilassante, e la cucina è deliziosa! Consiglio vivamente questo riad a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica a Tiznit. Sicuramente tornerò!

Séjour très agréable dans ce Riad très bien décoré et chaleureux. Deux chambres donnant sur une terrasse avec salle de bain commune. Mustapha le patron est adorable. Petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Le Riad se situe à côté d'un grand parking. Le Riad fait aussi restaurant.

We had a wonderful night in this quirky place. The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful and clean. We had a shared bathroom but only with one other room, which was empty! Breakfast was delightful and the location was excellent, right in the medina but the hotel was really quiet. Great value I would definitely recommend.

The location was excellent-in the Medina and a short walk to the Ville Nouvelle.The staff were very friendly-I want to mention Mustafa in particular.This man is friendly and welcoming and gave me a lot of assistance in seeking a good silver shop in Tiznit.Aïcha and Mbarke were also friendly and helpful.Food was excellent and I had breakfast and dinner there on both days.Instead of one room Mustafa gave me an entire apartment at no extra charge.It was clean and comfortable and sleep quality was perfect...Riad Le Lieu is top class...Worth returning to.

As with everywhere we’ve stayed in Morocco, the hotel staff are what makes the stay a good or bad experience. Riad Le Lieu itself was fairly typical, wth rooms off of the open central courtyard. If the weather is great, so is the comfort. When not, not so much. I forgot to note whether there was a private bath or not, and was surprised when there wasn’t. When we enquired, they upgraded us to a vacant suite – bedroom, living room/kitchen and bath, at no extra charge! First night’s dinner in the courtyard was lovely. Second night – pouring rain. They seated all 4 tables of diners in an enclosed dining room on the roof. The wait staff carried on, most nobly, carrying food and drink up two stories, through cold, pouring rain. The food was delicious, and menu more varied than in many places. Lunch and dinner fare were a great bargain. Five Euros for breakfast was a bit steep, but the local honey and goat cheese served were sublime! The owners and their key man were most gracious and helpful, and made our stay as enjoyable as possible!
Cons: I can’t really complain, we paid a modest price and got modest accommodation, but most gracious service.

Nothing, could not leave quick enough.
Cons: Misinformation and deception, the bedroom is in a restaurant and you have to walk through the restaurant to go to the toilet or shower. Expressing our disappointment Aisha became aggressive and snatched money from my hand. Following the hosts reply I add the following. We travelled to Tiznit from Agadir, a tiresome journey and although impressed with the Decor of the restaurant we were truly disappointed with not having a private bathroom/toilet as detailed. Mustarfa insisted that the toilet on the other side of the restaurant was allocated to us, he had a gentle voice and having no other place to stay we accepted the accommodation. Upon returning from a walk around the medina we met Aisha, she was friendly and talkative, we reiterated our disappointment and I asked how much our room would cost given it had no internal toilet and she said 23 Euros. She asked us to close the window which we did but unable to lock it. I said to her that it was insecure and she said don't worry because we sleep nearby. I could not get the TV to work, I asked Aisha about it and she said she would get Mustafa to come and do it. He didn't. It wasn't important for us. Prior to departure we had this disagreeable discussion about payment, Aisha denied saying she spoke about money, obviously scared at what Mustafa might say or do to her. I was willing to pay the €26 just so we could escape the accommodation, suddenly Aisha appeared and aggressively snatch the money from my hand. We left vowing never to return after seeing the true characters behind the masks. I would never trust them AND now as you can read from the reply he or she is RACIST towards English people. Travelling from Taghazoute to Sidi Ifni we stayed in 8 different places, mostly with Booking.Com, this was our worse experience on our entire trip. Looking at Trip Advisor it would appear that Riad de Lieu has a history of deceit.

The room was very clean,comfortable and sleep quality was excellent.I liked the convenient location-at the edge of the Medina.The staff were super friendly and I want to mention Aïsha,Laila,Mbarek and especially Mustafa.Aïsha is an excellent cook and I had all my meals there.Mustafa is such a kind person-guiding me to an excellent jewellery shop and taking me to the taxi rank when leaving....Top marks.

The location was really situated in a central area. The bathroom was really close enough to the room even if it didn't make part of the room-suite.
Cons: During our stay, we had some noisy neighbors at really late time. The room was really hot and we had to open windows to add some fresh air in the room.

The owner of the riad was very helpful for some issue I had uploading video footage with my phone. Generally the people who run the place have a pleasant attitude that you don't find that often in Morocco.
Cons: The room was very nice and there was a cooling fan. It's not the fault of this riad but riads in general I think are designed for interior shade so can be cool but lack air flow.
