Yousaf and Ahmad made our stay amazing with their hospitality and service. They were able to coordinate with our driver without us getting involved and as a result everything went smoothly. The breakfast was amazing, rooms were comfortable and the overall riad was just beautiful. It is tucked away on the other side of the Medina which we liked away from the hustle and bustle. The pictures are exactly what the beautiful riad is. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any visitor.

Dar Seven is a peaceful hidden gem in the heart of the Medina. With just 5 rooms, it feels more like a private home than a hotel — perfect for couples, families, or small groups. The design is elegant and minimalist, combining traditional Moroccan touches with a clean, modern style. The courtyard and rooftop are lovely spots to relax, especially with tea or during sunset. We had a wonderful stay and especially appreciated the warm and welcoming attitude of the staff. Ilyas and Ahmed went above and beyond to make our visit as enjoyable as possible. A truly special place to stay!

Very nice Riad, delicious breakfast, very nice staff, very helpful. The Riad is very well located on the outskirts of the Medina, where it is more quiet and you can better observe the residents.

Cons: We traveled with adult children, and the hotel prepared a mattress for both sides of the large bed, as if they were small children. I don't know what would have happened if we had traveled with friends. We bought an offer for 4 adults - the room was supposed to have a sofa bed and an extra bed. So you have to take that into account for comfort. For us, it was ok, although the children were already fed up with us after 4 days.

Dar Seven is an absolute gem in Marrakech! The hotel is cute, cozy, and full of charm — the perfect peaceful retreat after exploring the city. What truly made our stay special were Iliass and Ahmed. They made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Iliass was especially amazing — he went above and beyond to help us get around the city, gave great recommendations, and was always there when we needed anything. Their hospitality was incredible, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and kindness. I highly recommend Dar Seven to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming Marrakech experience!

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Dar Seven. The property itself is an oasis of calm: tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, yet a quick walk away from it. It is also quite beautiful, decorated with excellent taste. Definitely what made our stay even more memorable was the care of the staff, who were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you very much.

Entering the riad from the street through the front door was like entering a different world. The decor was truly splendid, very high quality, fabulously clean and the staff were exceptional and determined to ensure my stay from the first moment would be exceptional. I was meeting friends, also staying at Dar Seven, at a restaurant and I was escorted to the restaurant right to the table where my friends were sitting. I would never have found it on my own, especially as this was my first trip to Marrakesh and what can be it’s confusing side streets. Just brilliant. I can’t imagine that happening anywhere else. All the staff were very kind, helpful and eager to help in any way they could. My room was ginormous, the Atlas, with a very comfortable bed and living room area and just a massive bathroom with the biggest bath I have ever seen in my life. I only wish I had been staying longer to have a bath but the shower had to suffice. The towels were scrumptious as were the shower gels and soap. The breakfast was delicious. A glorious mixture of fruit, yogurt, eggs, pastries, juice, tea and coffee and who can forget the ‘masaman’, a delicate local pastry eaten with honey that I couldn’t get enough of. I was full till dinner time. We were staying over new year and my friends and I were helped with arranging taxis and were escorted to the taxi rank so we all felt perfectly safe at all times. I was especially glad of the taxi pick up on arrival that was arranged by Dar Seven which I would highly recommend as the airport is a little hectic if you’ve never been before. The communication with Dar Seven before the trip was excellent and Beatrice was very helpful with booking the airport taxi and extending my stay by a day as well as the initial booking. If you are looking for a riad in the heart of Marrakesh that is affordable, with lovely rooms with fantastically comfortable beds, a delicious breakfast with amazing staff, Dar Seven is for you.

Cons: The only fault was the rain shower head that didn’t work. If I was staying longer, I would have mentioned it. Everything else was great.

The warmth and attentiveness of the staff; size of the room and the extra living space; breakfast was almost gourmet; music in the afternoons; size of the riad was very cozy and made it feel like a home.

Cons: The quality of the Ikea towels was terrible; the floors in the room could have been cleaned better - our feet and socks were black from dirt; no slippers.

Cons: I didn’t receive a response back from the receptionist/manager to organise airport transfer despite several follow up emails to the hotel. My arrival arrangements remained unclear until I reached out to individual staff members through WhatsApp the day before my arrival.

It is the best property we ever stayed at in terms of hospitality. Ilyas proposed to walk with us to the places we wanted to go dine, especially at night and us being 2 girls. Ilyas and Ahmed and the house lady made sure that everything was perfect and they went above and beyond every single day. Highly highly recommend. We cannot thank them enough for caring so much and being so attentive. Breakfast was also amazing.

ilias and ahmed were incredible, super attentive and careful, we were fans. They were always there for us, even picking us up at night and walking us back to the Riad. We really enjoyed it, the Riad is absolutely beautiful and the people who work there welcome us very well

Amazing breakfast. Tucked into the medina, a little walk if you want to get a taxi but the staff helped to collect suitcases and bags. Very pretty Riad. Fabulous dinner in a gorgeous setting that they prepared for us. Staff were so helpful and booked a day out at a country club as it was hot and we wanted a pool. Always on hand and always super polite and courteous.

Cons: Little wear and tear here and there. Could do with newer towels and sorting some of the electrics and lighting. A persistent smell of drains in the bathroom but not sure if that’s just the Medina plumbing.

Very unique & as authentic of a Moroccan experience as probably possible! The staff were incredibly friendly & accommodating! The breakfast was very good as was the evening meal with exclusive food from the region!

I love the fact that the staff took care of us like we were family visiting for a short time. The breakfast was amazing, the dinner was great & the energy was beautiful. Our nighttime concierge Illias saved our life (he knows why) and we are SUPER GRATEFUL for his help in Assisting us through that time. I can’t say enough great things about this place but we will be back ASAP!!!

Ilmad and iliass booked/suggested all our day trips, dinner reservations , tours around the Medina, shopping experiences..they both made our nine day stay extra extra special. Iliass always texted us when we were out late to make we were ok...and during the day. One time we were lost, he came with a taxi to pick us up. If i return to Marrakesh, i will stay at Dar Seven, its a quite hidden gem.

An easy ten minute walk to the Souk. Ahmed kindly guided me initially and was always ready to meet me to help me back to Dar Seven, if I needed. I decided to eat in after a busy day walking, so staff arranged for delicious Moroccan food to be brought to me. This was a real treat with every meal beautifully presented and arranged where I wished to eat within the raid.

Cons: Dar Seven is beautifully styled and a true oasis of calm after a busy day out. The staff are discreet but always available to to answer questions or give advice if needed.

We had a lovely stay at Dar Seven. The staff are super welcoming, attentive, and the atmosphere felt like home. Elias and Ahmad are so caring and we didn't have to ask twice for anything. The Riad is very clean, the rooms are wide and comfortable. It's designed in a nice combination of old Morrocan style and modern. Our room had a private big balcony, right above the main patio, and there we were served breakfast every morning. The only downside was that it is located about 5 minutes deep in the alleys. BUT, Elias was walking us everytime we left the Riad to the main street, and of course on our way back. We texted him our eta and he waited for us there and walk us back to the Riad. The water pressure wasn't great but we had hot water all the time which isn't typical to most Riads. We already miss Morroco and our friends at Dar Seven and will definitely be back soon🥰

Unbelievable experience ! I was only able to book one night due to room availability but I wish I had the chance to stay longer. It was a dream come true. The staff were unbelievably helpful, courteous, super hospitable. Ilyas was exceptionally helpful, he felt more like a friend at the end of our stay.

Our perfect stay in the Loggia Suite This was our first visit to Marrakech and first time away as a family and Dar Seven did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, immediately being presented with home brewed mint tea whilst sitting in the beautiful courtyard of the Riad. Our hosts, Ahmad and Iliass were fantastic from start to finish. Their dedication to their guests is exceptional with nothing being too much hassle, day or night. They organised a private day trip for us up the Ourika Valley, visiting a traditional Berber house, a pottery, an Argon oil cooperative and a guided walk to the beautiful waterfalls. We even stopped for a quick camel ride on the way home! They made great restaurant suggestions, including Dar Zellij, a 17th century traditional Morrocan restaurant, just a stone’s throw away from the Riad. Another recommendation we visited was Chez Lamine, a restaurant frequented by A list celebrities, where lamb is lowered down into large ovens in the ground and cooked to perfection, in only a way the Moroccans know how. They even provided a lovely dinner on the rooftop of the Riad, where during the day you can view the snow capped Atlas Mountains- very romantic. The Riad itself is clean, with the suite refreshed everyday. There are multiple living areas to relax, the courtyard, the roof top and a living room. Notre séjour s’est très bien déroulé, avec un accueil et un service très au delà de notre attente, Ahmed et Illias étaient aux petits soins , nous nous sentions en totale sécurité. De plus ils nous ont très bien conseillés pour les restaurants et les choses à faire. Le Riad est très confortable et magnifiquement décoré. Just returned from 4 nights at Dar Seven. The hotel is quite difficult to find, so the staff will come and meet you and take you to the hotel. Once you make the trip several times it becomes easier to find. The staff will offer to walk you to restaurants, come pick you up, or arrange taxi/tuk tuk service for you. Be aware they will not help negotiate a good rate for you. As a tourist in Morocco, everyone is trying to separate your money from you. My experience at other riads was that the owner would tell you what to pay to keep you from being overcharged. This was not the case here. The hotel itself was very nice and very clean. The breakfast could be better, if you asked me. They offered bread (a lot of bread), eggs, nice orange juice, but not enough protein for my liking.

Amazing experience. An oasis in the middle of an old bustling city. Amal made us so welcome like a private home and the room was amazingly gorgeous and the atmosphere that the staff created was a constant dreamlike state we didn't even want to leave and explore the city. It felt like you were in a private home and not much of a hotel. It's definitely a wonderful place to fall in love (or again!)

The guest experience has been thought about in depth at this delightful Riad. The personal mobile phone & collection by staff from the local square whenever needed meant we felt confident to explore fabulous Marrakesh. We were travelling with our 1 year old daughter and were looked after extremely well. Breakfast was always delicious & the peppermint tea at any time of day was so good! The staff even provided a beautiful gateaux for my husband's birthday as a surprise. The whole experience was an absolute delight & every room was stunning. Thank you all at Dar Seven.

went to Marrakech for work and I stayed at the Dar Seven Riad for 17 nights, it was perfect. The house is decorated with great taste, making waking up in that setting a beautiful experience. The linens, the lightening, the quietness, everything was carefully chosen to make the guest feel confortable and safe. I though Rachid and Ajmel were going to get tired of me because my stay was so long, but they were always courteous and did everything to answer my requests. There were bottles of water in the room every day and the bathroom was huge with everything one can need from nice amenities to plugs in the right places. Breakfast was always served impeccably and the moroccan crepes were absolutely delicious. The fact that they give you a local phone to be able to call in order for Rachid or Ajmel to pick yo up at the Place Sidi Ben Sliman is an the absolute evidence that the owner though about all the details to make your stay - long or short- confortable and very pleasant. I stay a lot in hotels because of work and I am not easy to please. Believe me when I say that the Dar Seven Riad is the best choice you can make in Marrakech.

This riad provides the experience of staying in the medina, but is a bit away from the hubbub of the souks and the Jemaa el Fna. We took the train from Rabat to Marrakech and had arranged ahead for Dar Seven to send a driver to meet us at the train station. He was there waiting for us and drove us to the closest spot to Dar Seven that a car can get to. There, one of the hotel staff, Rashid, met us with a porter to bring our bags, and showed us the way through the winding streets to the riad. It would have been impossible to find otherwise. It was then quite surprising to enter through an obscure door at the end of a dead-end, partially covered walkway into a bright, airy, sunlit, nicely-decorated courtyard where we were greeted with tea (and paperwork). We were shown to our room and then were on our own. But the staff was very cognizant of the challenge of navigating through the medina, offering to guide us at any time back and forth between the place where the driver let us off (we managed to learn the way ourselves), and giving us a pre-programmed cell phone so we could call them at any time if we got lost (we ended up not needing it). We had dinner at the riad one night and it was the best meal we had had in Morocco to that point. The staff would make mint tea on request, and cookies were available in the courtyard. Another hotel staff member, Amal, took care of my wife when she stayed in one day with stomach issues, including making a special soup for her.
