De schone kamers

Cons: Wij hadden vooraf contact opgenomen met uw hotel omdat ons vliegtuig vertraging had. Tijdens dit contact hebben wij duidelijk aangegeven dat wij later zouden aankomen en ter plaatse zouden betalen voor een extra bed. Er werd bevestigd dat dit geen enkel probleem was. Uit waardering heb ik zelfs een tip gegeven voor de service. Bij aankomst in het hotel bleek er echter gรฉรฉn extra bed aanwezig in onze kamer. Tot onze grote verbazing vertelde de hotelmedewerker ons dat het extra bed, dat voor ons gereserveerd stond, was doorverkocht aan andere gasten omdat wij nog niet hadden betaald. Door deze beslissing moest รฉรฉn van onze vrienden noodgedwongen in de lounge slapen, op een bankje, zonder deken, en dat in de kou na een lange en vermoeiende vlucht. Dit is naar onze mening niet alleen uiterst onprofessioneel, maar zelfs onmenselijk. De indruk werd gewekt dat het hotel geld boven klantvriendelijkheid en betrouwbaarheid verkiest, enkel om geen financieel risico te lopen. Dit is volledig in strijd met wat gasten mogen verwachten van een hotel dat afspraken bevestigt. Deze ervaring heeft onze nacht ernstig verpest en ons vertrouwen volledig beschadigd. Wij zullen dan ook nooit meer terugkeren naar uw hotel. Wij vinden dat deze situatie een duidelijke waarschuwing verdient. Wij verwachten op zijn minst een passende reactie en compensatie voor het ongemak dat wij hebben moeten ondervinden. Persoon geeft aan als zij de bedden niet verhuren zij dit, zelf moeten betalen uit hun eigen zak.

Aprรจs avoir payรฉ deux nuits via booking pour une suite, la rรฉception nous a imposรฉ de libรฉrer la chambre apres la premiere nuit...prรฉtextant une erreur ... il a fallut ranger ร  la hรขte... la rรฉception a exigรฉ le paiement d'une nouvelle chambre standard ! Alors que notre deuxiรจme nuit en suite รฉtait payรฉe ! ... mais sinon il fallait partir ! ... Aprรจs moultes explications la rรฉception s'est rendu compte de sa propre erreur ! Et il a fallut redรฉmenager pour retourner dans la suite convenue. Bref, ce cafouillage de la part de la rรฉception nous a fait perdre un tps prรฉcieux et notre contrariรฉtรฉ fut grande ! The pool and the included breakfast.

Cons: The beds are hard as a rock and the floor in the rooms were very dirty, we couldn't walk barefoot. There were cockroaches in our room and in the bathroom. The kitchen had nothing, just a fridge, so nothing compared to the pictures shown. The TV in the living room didn't work, nor did the AC in any of the rooms. All in all, I don't think we would stay in this hotel again, as it felt like a scam, with the pictures shown on booking, not reflecting the reality.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Cleanliness was good, location excellent, walking distance or short trip by taxi to the Jemaa el-Fnaa market. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the luggage service. Food and drinks were good at the restaurant, fast service and a good variety of breakfast. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Cons: A bit noisy during the night time. Seemed like the tourists don't know how to close their room doors silently. Maybe worth investing in soft close hinges ๐Ÿ˜Š

The personnel at breakfast were very helpful. The price was good. There was only one coat hanger and I had to ask often before two more arrived. The spaces at groundfloor were large and comfortable. There was a cafรฉ so you could always have something.

Het hotel heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. De kamer was zeer ruim en had alles wat je nodig hebt. Het bed was groot, maar vrij hard. Het interieur is iets verouderd, maar in prima staat. I really liked the staff. Soufiane was very friendly and helpful and professional. The member of staff at breakfast time was really helpful and friendly. A real gentleman. I liked the pool area. It was clean, pretty and peaceful. I also really liked the breakfast.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that I was waiting at night time at the airport for the taxi transfer I had ordered from the hotel. I was very tired and stressed by this and no one apologised. There was no lamp in the bedroom by the bed and the shower screen was cracked and so was the mirror on the toilet door. The room didn't smell fresh and the toilet seemed of below average cleanliness. I felt disappointed.

De locatie was goed en centraal gelegen. Het bed was groot en comfortabel, wat zeker een pluspunt was. De kamer had airco en op het eerste zicht leek alles netjes verzorgd.

Cons: De verwachtingen kwamen helaas niet overeen met wat er op de website stond. Er was wel een tv aanwezig, maar zonder internetverbinding Netflix was dus niet beschikbaar zoals geadverteerd. Enkel beneden in de algemene ruimte was er wifi, wat voor ons onhandig was. We moesten uiteindelijk onze eigen internetverbinding gebruiken. Daarnaast probeerde iemand aan de receptie ons te overtuigen om activiteiten via het hotel te boeken en direct te betalen, wat we te opdringerig vonden. De prijzen waren ook veel hoger dan elders. Verder werkte de airco enkel zolang we in de kamer waren; zodra we vertrokken, viel alle elektriciteit uit. Dat maakte het verblijf minder comfortabel. Over het algemeen teleurstellend in verhouding tot de verwachtingen.

Although the staff would like you to believe they are helping, I was not impressed. This place can be something impressive but currently it's not. The works of art on the ceilings of every room and lobby are breathtaking though.

Cons: The place is dilapidated. There are limited parking spots outside. The breakfast buffet is horrible, the choices are limited and I could've cooked something better blindfolded. The baked goods were always stale, juice is watered down. The room is very dimm, there isn't much lighting after the sunset and it feels like a tomb. The TV is from a bygone era and internet access is limited to the lobby. I've tried to cancel my stay from the first hour but they refused to refund me. Booking.com support was abysmal, taking their sweet time to reply back. I was also unable to reach their international numbers. I guess if you're stuck there, you're stuck for the long haul.

Our stay was truly memorable, and thatโ€™s mostly thanks to the amazing staff who made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and always available if we needed anything. The ladies who cleaned the rooms did an excellent job and were always so polite and cheerful. And the chef deserves a big thank you for the delicious breakfast buffet every morningโ€ฆ fresh, varied, and a perfect start to each day. The hotel itself is charming and well-located, but itโ€™s the warmth and care of the people working there that made our experience so special. We all genuinely enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back.

Cons: Honestly, I canโ€™t think of anything I didnโ€™t like about the property. Everything was simply great, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations.

We had a problem in our first room with the shower, they eventually fixed it then it broke again and they fixed it again. The air con box was on the balcony, which blew hot air and when its 30+ degrees out side it was a no no plus it would be dangerous for little fingers. We were moved to another room after 2 days, air con didnt work properly till day before we left, tv didnt work, handle on shower broke and frame on door coming off, again dangerous to little handles. Had electric shock of the one lamp and the other was like a disco. Everything was reported to reception

Cons: The AC was not working in the bedrooms we nearly passed out because of the heat. We stayed for 4 nights and constantly had to ask the manager to either fix AC or change room. He had an engineer come and fix on AC but others were not working. Dirty and dusty rooms were not clean.No iron facilities. Always begging the cleaning lady for clean towels and room clean. No welcome water or drinks on first day and no spa as mentioned online. The staff never showed any kindness and no tea or coffee during day, not even dinner. It was a joke and waste of money. Book anywhere but here!

For anyone wishing to stay at this hotel, do so with the knowledge that you may experience issues and faults that they will not rectify and will make excuses and false promises. We stayed for 7 days and suffered a defective none working AC for the entire stay with daily promises of it being fixed. Furthermore the hotel has lied stating we did not leave our key which was why it wasn't fixed despite their policy is leave keys when you leave and we did. Cleanliness is also poor, and having to request things daily isn't ideal either. Definitely wouldn't recommend or stay here again.

Cons: We booked the Royal suite, when we arrived there the suite was nothing like it was in the photos and it did not have anything that it was advertised to have. The suite was filthy dirty had not been cleaned in years and we had two towels for the 4 of us. We had none of the listed items such as a kettle a balcony.The staff were very rude and unwelcoming with exception to the man running the breakfast who was friendly and hard working. The shower was broken. I really would never go back and it ruined my sons birthday. We raised concerns with the staff but nobody seemed bothered, I asked for cleaning materials to clean but never got them. We had to ask for toilet roll daily.

During my stay at Hotel Lawrence Dโ€™Arabie someone broke into my room whilst I was sleeping. My friend and I witnessed them unlock our door, listen for noises and then leave. After speaking to reception and being informed that keys open multiple rooms across different floors, and there being no safety measurements, we left the hotel and stayed in an alternative one. From what I can see, the hotel is being very evasive and is not dealing with this situation in the appropriate manner. We are under the belief that for this reason, it was a member of hotel staff that came into our room without permission.

No fruits, no cheese, no ham, no eggs; the coffee is really bad and the orange juice is chemical. Didn't works!! The rooms are old and little dirty. The swimming pool you can use until 6pm, Isn't make sense because you have sun until 9pm in summer. I witnessed an discussion between a British costumer with the front desk. The client complained about her room being dirty and the bathroom covered in mold. She showed me the photos, and it was disgusting. When the front desk saw that she was sharing the photos with me, he told her she could return the money and let her leave, but she couldn't show them. All in a very bad and unpolite way.

As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the hotel receptionist, who was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel it's self has a historic feel to it with a beautiful morrocain theme throughout. The rooms were a decent size with good working air conditioning.

Cons: The only downfall was the essentials in the room, no kettle, hair dryer, etc. The WiFi signal was quite slow in the room and lobby but doesn't really bother you. Balcony covered with 3 bollards, which restricted our view however overall it was a nice stay, and I would definitely go back.

Should not given the name HOTEL it is worse than the guest house. The room was so oldie seems I came in 1940 later I requested to change my room. Nobody come to clean my room. My room have not been cleaned for nine days. Breakfast was made of flour no sandwiches no eggs no omelettes no fresh juice it was awful. My bedsheets has not been changed for nine days. When we reached the hotel, there were no light a very dim light was on the reception table where we hardly fill our forms no Internet in the rooms very little Internet in lobby. Toilets were not cleaned always asking for towels and tissue paper. The most surprising thing is that when we booked this hotel before booking the reviews was very good once the payment has gone bad reviews pop up immediately. I donโ€™t know how it happens, but this happens to other customers also when we were discussing in the lobby. We left the hotel four days before our check out date. It is very hard to stay there.. Lack of hotel management and maintaince.

Cons: We stayed here for two nights and it was honestly one of the worst hotel stays weโ€™ve ever had. Iโ€™m shocked that this place is even listed on booking platforms. Letโ€™s start with the receptionist, Soukaina, who tried to scam us right at check-in. She claimed the card machine wasnโ€™t working and insisted on cash. When we pushed to try it anyway, it โ€œmagicallyโ€ workedโ€”but she overcharged us โ‚ฌ77.22 instead of the listed โ‚ฌ75.00. When we asked about it, she told us to "contact our bank." Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The room was filthy. Hair all over the bedroom floor. Balcony covered in cigarette butts. The overhead showerhead was disgusting and visibly clogged with limescale. On the second day, housekeeping had made the beds poorly and even worseโ€”left our balcony door wide open (our room was on the first floor!) and it couldnโ€™t even be properly closed. Every evening thereโ€™s loud live music downstairs, which might be nice for some, but not when your room has zero soundproofing and youโ€™re trying to sleep. This is NOT mentioned anywhere when booking. And the breakfast? Absolutely revolting. The food-warming equipment had visible mold. Even more shocking, two birds were flying freely inside the breakfast area, literally pecking at the bread in the basket. Total health hazard. Do yourself a favorโ€”donโ€™t stay here. And if Booking.com is reading this: this property should be immediately reviewed and delisted.

The photos of the hotel

Cons: Well how do I begin? First of all this hotel seems nice, but this 3.5 star hotel is a nightmare. The first room we had, the fridge didn't work and we specifically said we needed one for medication that needs to stay cold. The TV didn't work, the phone didn't work, they didn't clean unless we begged them to, we begged for toilet paper, the shower fell on my friend and the lock locked us out and the key didn't work, the manager had to break into the room. They gave us a different room the next day. The TV didn't work,phone didn't work and fridge didn't work, they had to put another fridge in there . The sheets had spots on it and when they finally cleaned, they just refolded the same sheets. Didn't mop, or clean bathroom or take out the trash. The staff was nice, and the cafe was good. They charged tax when they weren't suppose to and didn't give me the proper receipt. They advertise a spa and an arcade. There is no spa and arcade. They're building a spa and the arcade is a covered up poole table! Avoid this place at all cost. You should consider dropping them from booking com!

The facilities are good and location is good. Gueliz(1 mile) and Medina(2 miles) and short taxi ride or brisk walk for walkers. I always plan to stay here on my visits as my Premier choice.

We arrived in the early hours of the morning, which we had told the hotel about, and no problem, we checked and went to bed. There was an extra bed in our room, which we got removed the next day after asking this to be done a couple of times, so then the room was quite fine. Breakfast was really fine - the earlier you go the bigger the selection - but there was plenty of choice even when we went later to breakfast (after 9am). The swimming pool is small but fine and there are sun beds and a restaurant next door. Location is fine, only a 20min walk to Medina, plus we found a couple of pubs about 10min walk on the main road from station in direction of Medina. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: The cleaning lady removed our towels but didn't replace them - this happened several days, so we always had to ask her to do this, so this small point was a bit of a kerfuffle. But this was a very small negative and did not spoil our stay at all

Cons: First of all I confirmed prior to my trip that all my hotels had a proper secure facility to store my motorcycle. From all of them, this was the only one that said they had, and in the end the bike spent the night outside on the sidewalk by the hotel room. Second of all, I had to change my dates, and I asked both my message (that they never replied confirming or denying) and called twice. From both times I called, the answer was "I just work reception" and nothing ever got resolved nor confirmed. Finally they told me that I had to book for the second night (as a replcaement of the first on my underfstanding) but what it was actually, was a pure theft of the second night value. They could have simply said "no" and I wouldn't be leaving this comment (as it was my decision to change my travel plans), but no. They decided that overcharging and screaming at customers would be the perfect situation. BTW, nobody in charge is ever at the hotel. Apparently that is the perfect management model for hotels that do not require staff in charge of management... Seriously, it is ok for a night sleep (if there isn't live music next door) but do not expect much from this place. Also, cleaningness doesn't exist, watter drips from AC (where you can slip and break something). Please fire that recepcionist and promote the young lady (she actually cares)

Cons: First of all I confirmed prior to my trip that all my hotels had a proper secure facility to store my motorcycle. From all of them, this was the only one that said they had, and in the end the bike spent the night outside on the sidewalk by the hotel room. Second of all, I had to change my dates, and I asked both my message (that they never replied confirming or denying) and called twice. From both times I called, the answer was "I just work reception" and nothing ever got resolved nor confirmed. Finally they told me that I had to book for the second night (as a replcaement of the first on my underfstanding) but what it was actually, was a pure theft of the second night value. They could have simply said "no" and I wouldn't be leaving this comment (as it was my decision to change my travel plans), but no. They decided that overcharging and screaming at customers would be the perfect situation. BTW, nobody in charge is ever at the hotel. Apparently that is the perfect management model for hotels that do not require staff in charge of management... Seriously, it is ok for a night sleep (if there isn't live music next door) but do not expect much from this place. Also, cleaningness doesn't exist, watter drips from AC (where you can slip and break something). Please fire that recepcionist and promote the young lady (she actually cares)

The only thing I liked was the location and proximity to shops because it appears to be in the center of the city.

Cons: Reception service is poor and un-welcoming. No room service throughout my stay or change of towels. The environment looks old and poorly maintained. A lot of repair works on the third floor that one cannot even get a decent rest in this property. The Wifi was disaster, poor is an understatement. The bathroom looks so stale. The general service from this hotel is poor when compared to the price.

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in my life. The rooms were mouldy and extremely dirty. We got sick from the mould afterwards. Rude staff (older man at the lobby). The rooms were extremely noisy and a wall atop of our window was broken so we could hear all the noise from outside and inside the hotel. During the night there was some construction going on in the hotel. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise and the smell of mould. There rooms were poorly maintained and many things were broken: lights, door handles, a wall, paints, decorations etc. There were no mattress pads on the beds which made sleeping extremely uncomfortable. We changed to another room in the hotel but unfortunately it was equally mouldy, dirty, noisy and broken. Breakfast was cold and if you did not arrive early enough there were only leftovers. The hotel was nothing like in the official pictures. Poorly maintained and falling into disrepair. Avoid at all costs.

Cons: Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. When we arrived, our room was not only dirty but completely different from what was shown in the photos. The shower was broken, and after reporting it to reception and fights with them,we were moved to another room. While this second room was a slight improvement, it still felt old and wasnโ€™t properly clean either. There was also a loud fan on the balcony that ran all night, making it difficult to sleep, and we found the beds without sheets,these were left on top of the bed, we had to make the beds ourselves. The hotel was advertised as a spa hotel, but no spa facilities were available due to ongoing refurbishment, which we werenโ€™t informed about beforehand. The swimming pool was much smaller than it appeared in the photos. Breakfast was another letdown. The coffee machine was broken, so there were no hot drinks available. When we asked about it, the only option offered was to pay for coffee separately at the restaurant, which felt quite unreasonable given the circumstances. The overall breakfast setup also didnโ€™t feel very hygienic, everything is cold and open, for example they put jam in a big bowl where everyone uses a spoon to grab the jam and it looks like they didnโ€™t clean that bowl for weeks, probably every plate and cup it broken, there was birds eating from the baskets the bread for toast wasโ€ฆ During breakfast, we ended up speaking with another couple and a solo traveler, and all of us agreed, the hotel simply wasnโ€™t good enough. It clearly didnโ€™t live up to its advertising or basic expectations. Weโ€™ve been traveling through Morocco for a week, and this was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. In fact, itโ€™s the only one that didnโ€™t meet basic expectations. Very disappointing overall,I would not recommend this hotel.

Cons: The attitude of the breakfast staff was not good. And even though we had booked and paid for breakfast, there was no coffee . After asking the staff manager, he said it wasn't his coffee machine had called a company to fix it they offered no alternative, but after complaining was told I could have a coffee from the hotel coffee bar, but I must pay! I did finally get my coffee to have with my breakfast and paid. What was on my list for a re-booking has now been cancelled.

Tidy rooms, cleaned up everyday. Breakfast consisted mostly of bread and pastries; could have been more fresh ingredients. The pool was nice and you could sunbathe without a shirt. Very close to the railway station; convenient if you come or go by train. The hotel is located outside of the old city (medina), which is good, because the neighborhood is tranquil, clean and spacious, unlike the bustling old city.

Cons: The only minus was that chek-in was said to start at 2 pm, but my room was not ready until 3.15 pm.

MONEY STOLEN FROM MY WALLET!! This incident took place on 1st of April 2025 and occurred between 07:30 to 09:00 when I came downstairs for breakfast. Someone went to my room, probably room service and 300 Moroccan Dirham was missing from my wallet which is about 30 Euros. Normally when you come downstairs for breakfast they tick your room number and the staff members must have communicated between themselves about whose room's currently empty. I'm 100% sure, theft took place between 07:30 to 09:00 because I had counted my money before I left for breakfast. When I came back and checked my wallet 200 bill and 100 bill was missing. I went to the reception and asked about the CCTV footage between these times but both the receptionist at present kept on saying I must have mis counted the money. They even tried to divert the situation by saying where you went yesterday and may be you might have overspend and wasn't aware of it. One of the receptionist said this was the first time this incident took place. He was obviously lying because upon reading negative review about this hotel other people also had money stolen from their wallet. Furthermore, after telling them I took money out from the ATM in front of the hotel last night and haven't over spend. The skinny, tall receptionist kept accusing me by saying lying about this is an insult to them. He was trying to scare me by threatening me but I angrily answered him back by saying is this how you treat your customers? I then told him show me the cctv footage and we'll talk abt it. Shortly the room service lady came to join us upon asked. She laughing about it and said something to one of the receptionist in their language. As soon as they communicated, the chubby receptionist said may be the cctv is not working in a sarcastic way. I could tell by his face expression that he was lying about it and was trying to protect the room service lady.

The photos on Booking are truly misleading. The hotel is very old and outdated, and it shows the moment you arrive. The staff is unprofessional: card payments are not accepted, only cash, and even then, they couldnโ€™t provide change due to lack of cash on hand. We requested a childโ€™s bed in advance, informed the reception and they were going to inform the housekeeping yet no bed was ever provided. The building itself is charming despite its age, but the hygiene level was terrible: stained walls, marks from shoes and fingers and dark spots. The bathroom was a disaster: doors were hard to close, limescale was everywhere it was disgusting. The fridge was dirty and completely unusable for storing any open food. The only positive point: the restaurant staff was kind and caring. As for the pool, I stayed away. The state of the sunbeds and surrounding area was off putting, and the water was cold, even though I had hoped to let my daughter enjoy a swim. Extremely disappointed with this stay. I truly hope they can make significant improvements after reading thisโ€ฆ at the very least, regarding hygiene.

Cons: The hotel needs updating and many things need fixing. Such a shame as it obviously was once a beautiful hotel. The room was averagely cleaned but the toilet had a huge crack in the top. The TV did not work at all, the fridge didnโ€™t really work either. There were poor electrics with a socket hanging out the wall. It was a bit noisy but calmed down around 11 pm. Breakfast was very average. Lots of uninteresting things. No boiled eggs even(simple), the chef would come and do omelettes if you came at the right time. The RUGS on the floor in the dining room at breakfast were daft, so many people tripped up on them. They are not needed and are dangerous. Rude manager!

Wifi reception in the room on 2nd floor was only in certain spots with mobile phone tilted in certain way, connection was weak so that it was impossible to make e.g. whatsapp call from the room. Monotonous menu for breakfast with very limited options โ€“ mainly pancakes. Almost no vegetables or meat. Understanding problems with the staff โ€“ problems to get e.g. toilett paper. Another story - 1 day we had 2 towels in the room. 2 day โ€“ first cleaning, one towel has been exchanged, second gone missing. Got promised at reception that it will be delivered shortly. Come back โ€“ no cleaning done, second towel gone. Reception promised to deliver shortly, never happened. Needed to chace cleaning lady through floors to get towels. Another guests reported the same.

The hairdryer is not in the room, you will need to get it from the reception desk, the hairdryer only worked when the wire was at a certain angle which was inconvenient when blow drying the hair. Staff were not the most welcoming, but got the check in done in about 10 minutes. We wanted to take a swim, as the hotel lift had informed visitors that the pool is opened till 19h, but when we went down at 6 for a short swim, we were told the pool closes at 6pm. The establishment should state their timings clearly to avoid confusion.

Great breakfast but cold - fortunately had a toaster / microwave to heat - technically a buffet but has restrictions - the guy adjacent to me was pretty upset when he was refused a second one egg omellette. Cons: Staff. Especially femail members of staff. Our room had no towels and I asked at reception for towels. 5 hours later still no towels. Reception staff will ignore you. There was no spa or sauna available. Breakfast very poor. No warm foods, no cheese, no egss... There was some kind station outside with egg shells but as I said staff will ignore you so no eggs. There was no fruits and birds were flying inside breakfast area and feeding on bread rolls and walking on foods. Birds were also ignored. Microwave was never cleaned. Femail reception staff treated us as a problem. They charge you for printing a boarding pass 1Euro per person. Booking said there is kitchen area in the room... There was old fridge, old microwave and a sink. No forks or spoons. No plates or cups. No kettle. You can hire kettle from reception but they will no provide cups. For 4 people we got 2 paper cups. Reception area looked nice but rooms were not nice, Lights not working, collapsed window in the bathroom, no towels.. Beds no comfy at all... . There are other hotels with same price providing better service. Here is NOTHING. AVOID. Will never recommend this place.

The hotel is a wonderful sanctuary in the heart of Hivernage, Marrakech. Beautiful interior, lovely pool, and poolside areas. There is a restaurant and spa on site and it's a short walk from some amazing parks, souks and art attractions, such as the Jardin Marjorelle and Yves Saint Laurent 'blue' house. I was blown away by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, who were always happy to assist and make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel is a feast for the senses. The staff are warm and welcoming, and always happy to help with any query, day or night. I felt comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. They found me taxi connections to my buses and sent texts to confirm and reconfirm my booking and arrival times. The pool, restaurant, and spa were right there within the hotel, and I found it easy to enjoy my time and access Marrakech, always with their support, for directions, information and transport needs. The decor is beautiful and the spaces clean and relaxing. My stay was relaxed and made enjoyable, very reassuring as a solo traveler, with a plentiful selection for breakfast. The location is perfect for accessing all the wonderful things Marrakech has to offer.

The location of the hotel was good. The architecture of the building is very nice. The bed was comfortable and clean.

Cons: The men working at the reception were very rude. They said breakfast until 10:30. When I came down at 10:00, everything was over. When I asked for breakfast, I was subjected to rude attitudes by the man working at the reception and the kitchen chef. Apart from that, a bad smell came from the bathroom all night.

The size of the room was good. We stayed in their biggest room though- the Royal suite The location is kind of in the center- around 40-50 minutes walking distance to some of the main attractions Free parking available The room was clean , but was old. Need some tidying up and probably renovation

Cons: The breakfast was COLD!!! It is not that the food items are old, but they are not put in a container that maintains the warmth. The difference in the Msemmen we had at this hotel (cold) and another hotel where it was served warm was astonishing. The WiFi. We stayed in their "best" room- The royal suite. One could access Wifi only if you were in the bathroom. Was not available in the rest of the room No glass, spoon or kettle in the room- the royal suite , at a "three" start hotel !!!! Majority of the staff were helpful and professional. However, the unprofessional behavior of one the staff members was a shame. When we paid the city tax, he didn't have change so he said that he will give the 20 MAD back later. When I asked him about this two days later, first he did not "remember" the incident, but when I reminded him he said that he was thinking that I would not ask him the balance because of the things he "did" for me. These are things he did for me: We asked for an extra towel- Not available because all towels were given for laundry. Asked for a drinking glass for the water in the room (as none was provided)- not available. Asked for the receipt for my payment said he was currently busy, as well as his colleague who was standing right next to me. All of these exchanges could be considered as less polite/slightly aggressive for a three star hotel staff. He did upgrade us to Royal suite from our original booking (Junior suite). We didn't ask for it but was happy about it- not sure if that is what he was expecting the tip for. 20 MAD is not at a all large sum and almost everyone we met in Marrakesh who does something for you - as part of their job, asks for a tip. That is OK. But, this guy tricked us into paying him tip by lying to us that he will pay the balance later. Did not like that cheating approach. It is not about the money.

I booked this hotel via a hotel booking website I use regularly and wish I had not . I was given room 208 and music and noise from the hotel nearby bar did not stop until after midnight every night of the week so no sleep or rest . Male young receptionist has strange views about Atlantis and the legend of the Greek Titan Atlas and seemed to have a problem with pronouns of people like myself who are older women who look masculine and a lot of hate and bigotry. I complained and was moved to room 115 and was berated by a young female receptionist who knows on my door and verbally abuses me for raising a complaint via my booking agent whilst wearing her coat and handbag who visually looked as though she was finished here work and was on her way home . I had to buy medication from a nearby pharmacist as the Hรดtel breakfast gave me a bad stomach and fecal incontinence from the dry cakes and stale pizza and high sugar foods . Banging with hammers and small scale building work going on constantly and nice reception area but a poorly put together mass tourist hotel frequented by the worst mass tourist clientele. This hotel sells over priced tour and spar packages and is a long walk from any interesting museums
