Personnel kindness , restaurant dinning
Cons: I bought from hotel main desk offer an excursion to Agafy desert which is done by a 3rd class agency . They took us to poor premises for quad and camel ridding . It was done ok , but the rest of the program in a low cost camping was unacceptable . We asked for an early return and ha dinner at the hotel, which was compensate by them. However the desert experience was a far from what one expect to buy at a Relais and Chateaux, this is a risk to hotel and brand images .

Everything was excellent at this hotel. The only downside is its location. It’s close enough to the Medina but the street it’s on is anything but luxury. On the other hand, I don’t think there’s much choice. Either one is far away from the Medina, on some decent street. Or if one wants to be within walking distance of the Medina, locations like this is pretty much par for the course. Overall, I still think the hotel deserves a solid five stars for everything else that it does so well.

Absolutely gorgeous! Luxurious, secluded, beautiful riad. Facilities are drop dead gorgeous with many nooks and patios. Very attentive stuff, who helped us book in advance all restaurants and activities in Marrakech. Rooms were beautiful, clean, beds comfortable. I wish bathrooms had better light, but it was the only thing that was not ideal. Excellent place for romantic holiday or special occasion trip.

We stayed on the occasion of my sister’s anniversary, this trip was my gift to her. I informed the hotel in advance (as I did with all other places we visited ) and clearly they not only noted this but made every effort to welcome us as valued guests - we were upgraded to a wonderful suite with a private rooftop terrace overlooking the Koutoubia and the Medina with sun loungers and we also had our (very impressive) breakfast there next morning. We arrived earlier than standard check in time and were offered traditional welcome with tea and sweets by the pool and it was a pleasant surprise to get early check in too at 11am. The Reception team were simply wonderful, especially Kemal - they helped us with taxis and other arrangements. The villa’s decor is exquisite, very tasteful throughout. It’s a peaceful and restful place despite being well located to the Medina. We also had massages at the in-house Spa which completed a magical stay. My first choice to stay in Marrakech as it is a more intimate yet luxury experience compared to the big names in town.

Our stay at La Villa des Orangers was truly unforgettable! The riad we stayed in was a masterpiece of design, showcasing exquisite Moroccan craftsmanship and artisanship in every detail. From the hand-carved woodwork to the intricate tile mosaics, the space felt like a living work of art. The attention to detail was remarkable, creating an atmosphere that was both luxurious and deeply authentic. The hospitality was outstanding. The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort, helping us with restaurant bookings, guided tours, and transfers. Their recommendations were thoughtful and spot-on, and their proactive care made us feel incredibly welcome and at ease. It was clear they take great pride in ensuring every guest has a flawless experience. We also loved the food at the villa—it offered a perfect selection of Moroccan and French cuisine. The quality was so impressive that we chose to dine at the hotel for several meals. On evenings we enjoyed authentic Moroccan music, which added a special touch to the experience. The hotel grounds were a serene haven for relaxation. Whether lounging in the peaceful courtyards or enjoying the beautifully appointed spaces, it was the ideal setting to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. Cleanliness, interior design, and ambiance were impeccable. Villa des Orangers is a true gem in Marrakesh, and we would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious, and culturally rich experience.

-The hotel is a work of art. Every corner is pleasant to look at. there is a serenity in the place. The poolside is just gorgeous. The rooftop pool looked very pretty as well but because it was so hot we stayed by the pool in the ground floor as this one is shadowed by gorgeous olive trees. - The staff is very friendly and pleasant. - They asked frequently if we wanted water, and brought some and did not charge us as other places do. - The rooms are very elegantly decorated. very functional. wi-fi reception is great
Cons: Breakfast options were almost the same every single day. We would have liked to see more Moroccan pastries on the breakfast menu. But the overall food quality and their presentation was excellent. The staff even though very pleasant and good-intentioned were not very efficient in bringing platers, drinks, orders etc in a timely fashion. For example they would bring the plates, glasses but we would have to ask a few times for the cutlery. they would bring our eggs but forget the bring the bread. etc etc.

Our stay at La Villa Des Orangers was nothing short of magical. They picked us up in a spotless people carrier, the driver was amazing and friendly. The hotel welcome was one of the best with welcome drinks and a tour. We booked a room with a private terrace and huge bathroom, it seemed pretty new and it was just beautiful. The entire hotel is stunning btw you won't want to leave. That's just the start too! The staff are so attentive, friendly and I have specific dietary requirements that they took on board and catered for. If you're GF you have to try the homemade gf bread it's the best i ever had! They booked restaurants for us, negotiated taxis, helped us find specific items. I also can't forget the hammam! Wow it's an experience (the room is dreamy)and so reasonable in price. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Marrakech. Luxury on a hyper personalized level. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible mini honeymoon! 💜

Villa des Orangers is an original Riad, well preserved and beautifully decorated. It is an oasis of calm in a very busy city. It is so quiet on the hotel grounds and all you hear are the sounds of birds. The food is delicious and the gluten free bread is the best I have ever tasted. The staff is amazing. They remember what you like to eat or drink and will bring it to you without you asking. They are genuinely interested in your well being and as a single Traveler, I felt very well cared for. They arranged my driver, Ayoub, who was well educated and spoke both French and English. He took me to great Shops which had interesting things. I had a great trip and am so happy I chose to stay at Villa des Orangers.

An oasis from the heat and bustle but an easy walk to all the main sights. Staff are courteous, professional and always on hand when needed. Interiors are superb. Room was excellent and inclusive daily laundry service is a nice touch. We did not dine in but breakfast service could be uneven. Strictly speaking there are the described 3pools but only one is available to all as the others are on private terraces. Would I stay again? Absolutely.

The BEST Hotel I've ever stayed with IN MY LIFE. I keep looking back at photos and would return to Marrakech just for this hotel. We had a different hotel reservation for the end of our trip and cancelled it so we could come back here. Walking through the front gate you're transported from the noisy streets of Marrakech to a soft, luxurious oasis. The scent of fresh orange blossoms and sandalwood greets you along with the smiling faces of the staff. For check in, we were escorted to the front courtyard where we were brought warm hand towels and freshly pressed orange juice. The property is surprisingly large- with several uniquely decorated courtyards and rooms that are a delightful little maze to wander through and enjoy. Our room was nothing but superb- comfortable bed linens, coffee machine and complimentary tea, wine and waters, a lounge area in front of our personal fire place, and a MASSIVE bathroom with slippers and robes. I cannot convey enough how impressive and luxurious the experience was- I have VERY high standards and this way beyond. Did I mention THE SPA- we treated ourselves before our flight to a two hour The Villa treatment including traditional hammam and 1hour massage. The Hammam is a glorious marble steam room and you feel like a queen from an ancient civilization being pampered and refreshed in a private setting. I have an obsession with this hotel and cannot recommend it enough!

This is a Riyadh, not a traditional hotel. What that means is it’s more like an a state house in the confines of the city. It has a beautiful swimming pool and excellent food service for breakfast. It’s meticulously, cleaned and serviced very well. From the roadway, you would never notice the doorway between two motorcycle repair shops. That put us off a bit, but once inside, it is is wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and we slept well on a king bed, with climate control, so that was good We walked into the Medina day and night from the hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic Moroccan, old-school Estate type hotel. This is a good choice.

Beautiful hotel with amazing common areas. The service was wonderful The location also close to key things to visit. The breakfast was not great in terms of fruits. The banana offered for 5 days were always green never ready to eat. The apples old. It would have been nice to have a buffet with choices. It became very repetitive the foods. Just like the room service, extremely limited. Our room was not appropriate for a family with a little baby as it has stairs and also right in the main hall where everyone must pass so there was noise every evening which didn’t help the baby to sleep.

It was a truly wonderful stay. Not just because of the exquisite interior and gardens, but because the staff really seemed to care. Such beautiful manners. So warm. Not at all stuffy. I have a very restricted diet at the moment, and they were so concerned to see me fed properly. It really touched my heart. Extra-special shout-out to the breakfast team. They were in a league of their own. I just loved everything and everyone in this place. It made a birthday treat even more special than we could have hoped. Thank you!!
Cons: Nothing. (OK, maybe the big road outside the hotel that you have to cross to get into the main part of the medina. I found it a bit scary, crossing seven lanes of horses, mopeds and cars. I just waited for a local and followed them! haha)

If heaven is like this then I’m ready to go! From the moment you set foot off the dirty cobbled streets of the medina, you enter paradise. A tranquility contrasting the exterior like we have never experienced before. Lush decoration, stunning architecture, beautiful rooms, and every detail attended to. But however incredible the physical aspect is, the service by the host of dedicated, passionate and highly professional staff will leave you in awe. What comes out of the kitchen is quite incredible in terms of quality and flavours, let alone the presentation. This place is simply faultless and we can’t wait to come back!

I hesitate to share exactly how good La Villa Des Orangers in Marrakech is because I'd like to ensure there is room when I come back. It is an amazing, relaxing oasis in the wild, steamy chaos of Marrakech's souks and kasbah. We loved it. Particularly the kind and well trained experts providing the hospitality. Is just as described, an Oasis in the city. Our room had access via rooftop terrace to a heater pool with views of the Koutoubia and the city. Staff attentive and kind

Average nice for the overall in Marrakech but not great. Very narrow rooms. No door locks that could be deemed effective. No signs to any area or rooms. Small. Rubbish spa. One lady. Inadequate lighting in rooms wears thin. A thing all over the hotel. Staff dropping glasses and plates all the time. Excellent manager who realised they could do better but hasn’t had the chance it seems to impose this ethos

I did not like the rooms, the air conditioners were not working properly, last day they had to bring a fan; this happened in both rooms; the rooms look much nicer in the website than what they actually are. The property is very nice but for about the same price of Mamounia Hotel is not worth it

We had a lovley stay here. Great location so we could pop in and out of the hustle and bustle of the medina as much as we liked. Hotel was lovley, swimming pools were glorious and spa was wonderful, breakfasts were delicious, staff attentive ( apart from when on roof terrace - noone around).

Absolutely stunning property. Unbelievable ambience. It's hard to describe. The rooms, the pools, seating areas, the food, the service were all spectacular. It's also in an excellent location--not in the busiest area, but close. We will definitely return.

Unassuming from the outside, the inside is stunning. Beautiful, traditional architecture, with a stunning pool. The staff are excellent and could not do enough for you. The restaurant was also of a very high standard. Would definitely return,

On arrival, I was greeted by very pleasant and welcoming staff and a lovely glass of cold fresh orange juice. After a very efficient and brief check-in, I was shown my room which had a terrace and seating area and lovely views over Marrakesh. My room was furnished in traditional morrocon style, very clean and comfortable bed. It is such a lovely hotel, lots of little spaces to sit and read a book or just relax, both inside and in the courtyards which were filled with the scent of orange blossom. There was a god choice at breakfast time which was always well presented and nicely served. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. If I return to Marrakech I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it. One thing to note, do not be put of by the external appearance and location of the hotel. Once inside, it is a beautiful building with a very authentic feel to it and within easy reach of the medina. I do hope I get the chance to return.

The hotel staff and location was all perfect for us! Best of both worlds with the hotel too as it really is a nice 5 star but yet a traditional RIAD!!! Staff couldn’t do enough and the food is great!! The Hammam in the hotel was also lovely. Couldn’t fault the place!!!

The best service experience I have ever had in a hotel right down to getting handed a completed exit card at checkout- nothing was a problem and where else do you get free laundry, lunch and breakfast in an amazing riad on the edge of the old town.

We picked this hotel based on comments and pictures. We thought that we would live a dream. However overall experience was very Big dissapoinment. The bed was noisy and very uncomfortable. The room was not that clean. The air condition system was very noisy. You won’t get what tou pay for!!! This hotel’s daily rate is more expensive than some central london 5 star hotels. If you pick this hotel you will waste your money.

Nothing but incredible things to say about this place and its staff. Experienced other wonderful resorts in the area and still without a doubt, this was the most beautiful, most serene, best staff and hands-down best food. Will definitely be back!

This is a lovely hotel, the service is low key and unobtrusive, this is great but it means if you want something you need to ask. For example we stayed for a week and were getting fed up with breakfast menu we didn't think to ask for something else until we heard other guests not even looking at menu and just requesting what they wanted I guess it's a bit of British culture like queuing and just sticking to what's on the list! Rather than anything with the hotel. We had a lovely stay, location is great and nothing was any problem or too much trouble

Having stayed at only one smaller riad prior to arriving at La Villa de Orangers we didn't have much baseline for comparison in Morocco, but having completed the trip and having stayed at 2 other places in Marrakech alone, we have a newfound appreciation for the amenities that La Villa de Orangers offers. The pools, restaurants, accommodating staff, and beautiful courtyards/sitting areas were idyllic and truly offered an oasis in such a busy and hectic city. Our qualms, and what kept this hotel from getting all 5 stars were with the room itself. The room was incredibly dark and slightly depressing, the bathroom was located up a rather steep set of stairs (making for a treacherous adventure in the middle of the night). The windows did not block out the outside light completely at night, and the shower leaked which made it next to impossible to take a nice shower during our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the small snacks left for us in the room were a really nice touch. All in all we would probably stay here again if we were matched with a different room.

This just might be the best hotel in the world. The facilities are beautiful and clean. The staff is welcoming, accommodating and friendly. Being just outside the crazy Medina is also the perfect location to take a break from the beautiful chaos of Marrakech.

Here is a place you can call a home...service where it goes beyond expectations. "Souhel" the general manager and his sincerely happy team, made our stay a luxury above 5 STARS...In addition he appointed one of the best educated private tour guide in Marrekech, named Hicham who took us through the inner beauty of their city. He speaks five languages to which his English was unmatched. We trusted all the places he took us for buying the luxuries of Marrekech ie carpets, shoes, handmade metal latern's etc...do not visit and roam through Marrekech without him. Our trip to the Atlas mountain's was also as indelible with Abdullah ..safe driver in a large comfortable land cruiser to all the favorite hot spots like Richard Branson hotel for lunch. I thank the Relais Chateau for their ability to make a person's visit a supreme pleasure! !!

Where to start is the hard part, my family and I stayed in la Villa des Orangers this week and to put it simple it was a magnificent experience. In this renewed Riyadh they have thought of everything. From the moment you arrive you'll be enchanted with a side of Marrakech that will have you booking your next trip back. The transfer service was delightful- and taking a load off the moment you get there in a serene sitting area with a glass of Moroccan mint tea or beverage of your choice starts your vacation quick. It also seems as though you start an aromatherapy treatment the moment you arrive as they've taken the time to create a both botanical and aromatic experience with the fragrance of orange blossom and native flowers filling the air - all the while relaxation mode kicks in as you hear the running water in the fountains. And realize the stunning Marrakech decor has been curated and appointed with some of the best of old and new Moroccan design possible. The included breakfast is a delightful way to start your days - and as with everything there it doesn't disappoint. The staff move around effortlessly to fulfill your every need as if they are floating in the leather slippers germane to the area. The staff was more than delighted to exchange energy with our 5 yr old daughter who has the time of her life in the afternoons swimming in all the of the beautifully designed natural water swimming pools( no chlorine). And as if that wasn't enough on days when we did

-Location: Cant be beat. -Setting inside the Hotel (Riad) is the most Serene. It's like an oasis in the desert. The Orange blossom Aroma all over the Hotel is so calming on your senses. -Everyone....everyone in the Hotel was most gracious....I would give them 11 stars out of 10 if I could. They will think of everything to make sure that the guest only relaxes and does nothing else...for example; We checked into the Hotel way past their lunch hour at around 3:30 PM, the front desk asked us for our passports and led us to a beautiful table in their courtyard, served us great lunch with wine and wanted us to leave filling the registration forms to them. They even filled out the customs departure forms for us before leaving. -On your list of must do....their Hamam. The Hamam itself and the people will surely make it memorable for you. I visited them this time with my wife and surely will do it again with my children.....only to experience this Riad.
