While the staff was very friendly we encountered several inconveniences during our stay to include the following: The only daily cleaning service is to make the bed and provide a dry towel for the bathroom floor. Towels were not refreshed and bathroom and kitchen were not cleaned during our 7 day stay. There were no liners in the trashcans provided. Room service was extremely inefficient with one order taking approximately 3 hours and three different interactions (including a visit to the front desk) to receive correctly. We were told the kitchen staff cooked our food and then left for the night without delivering it. The second room service order we tried to place by phone but no one answered after several attempts. It was not near closing time for the restaurant so we went in person to the restaurant to place the order. We were told they were too busy to answer the phone and we cold only order pizza because everything else would take too long. The shower door is not useful. Water covers the entire bathroom including toilet paper during each shower. The hotel listing boasts a bar but no bar is located on the premises. As an American this was the main reason we booked this hotel as we understood that many locations in Morocco did not serve liquor. The room we booked was not available upon arrival so we were switched to a different class of room. We were told the view of the new room was better than the one we originally booked so I agreed. The view was of apartment building.

Although it was just a couple of days, our stay at the hotel was wonderful. It is ideally located on the shore and within walking distance from a shopping mall. Rooms were very clean and spacious and well equiped for longer stat. In fact, it is the first hotel that had your own personal washing machine and sufficient utentials and cutlerry for cooking if you wanted.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel. It’s located right next to a shopping centre with ample fast food options. There is free underground parking too. The hotel itself is clean and spacious and the staff are great. Our room has a kitchen which was adequately equipped. The location is within a 10 minute driving distance of both the Hassan II Mosque and Morocco Mall. With stunning sea views, this hotel backs onto the beach. As a family of 4 we were not disappointed.

We loved its close proximity to restaurants and shops and to the beach. The hotel staff and security were very helpful, responsive and kind. The only negative are the thin walls between each unit. There isn’t much privacy. You can hear your next door neighbor.

Very horrible, don’t come. I was taking shower at night in the bathroom and suddenly the hot water ran off. I waited in the shower for 10min and still no hot water, so I called reception. They sent two men to check (I am a girl still in blanket and my hair still wet). These two men told me to wait for 5-10min and hot water will come out. I waited for 30min still no hot water. I was super cold in the blanket. I called reception again. Still two men coming to check but the same old wording and asked me to wait. I requested to borrow a bathroom in a new room, but they kept me waiting for 1 hour. It was 1:30am in the morning. I am so so so disappointed with this five-star hotel. I didn’t finish my shower until 2am. And the men’s attitude so bad and rude.

Walking distance to the beach. However, there is no shower facility on the beach. The outdoor pool is shut in November, so no place to wash my feet by the outdoor pool if there is a shower there or not (not sure). Luckily, I can wash my feet by the surfing school shower facility. No restaurant either on the property, but there is a Mall nearby with food court. Breakfast is good. However, my favourite chicken noodle soup in the morning was absent afterwards. Only two days I enjoyed the soup. A good idea to leave for your next guests, whatever is bought from Carrefour supermarket in the Mall. I left washing-up liquid and washing powder, kitchen towels - as you buy more than you need for a week's stay. Another thing for future guests: Please warn them about the local red taxis - they are ripping off tourists. Two occasions happened to us. The drivers told me that meter machine only for daytime, not in the evening. So they charged me 100 dirhams instead of 20-30 dirhams for 15 minutes drive. Then, when I gave him 100 dirhams, they demanded twice because there are two of us. So I had to pay them 200 dirhams! They said the same thing, that it is the rule in Casablance to pay double if there are two people in the car! I managed to get a meter taxi at lunchtime, gave him 100 dirhams asking for a change; he said no money for a change. So I just had to give him 5 euros instead of 20 dirhams!

Have stayed here previously and the hotel has had a comprehensive makeover. It’s all to a good standard. Small nightly issue with a broken patio door lock was immediately resolved by the Manageress and facility officer

What a disappointment! The only good thing about this property is the excellent location and the spacious apartments. The rest is terrible, staff, food. Rooms not equipped enough. Kitchen useless and old. I asked for a microwave and they brought an old and dirty one. The staff not responsive at all, you can ask for the same thing several times. To make it short, my stay was terrible. I stayed at the Pestana Marrakech and it was very good. The Pestana Casablanca needs improvement.

We vonden de ligging van het hotel prima alleen redelijk gedateerd. Personeel, met name de schoonmaakteam, is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het enige minpunt was dat er nagenoeg geen keukengerei aanwezig was. Pas na aanvraag werden we deels voorzien. Al met al, een fijn verblijf gehad.

We loved our stay here. We were right on the beach. The Anfa Mall was a block away for anything we needed (groceries, clothes, water). The staff was super helpful! They arranged for a pick up from the airport, helped us find a restaurant that was open late & had what we were craving (seafood and drinks), which was difficult to find but she was able to find it. There was a slight block in the shower drain on our arrival but as soon as we called they sent someone up within 15 min to unclog it—even though it was late. The rooms were huge and spacious, beds were so comfortable that we ended up sleeping in both days. Washroom was great (extra bonus for having 2) and we appreciated the heated towel racks & toiletries. The kitchen was beautiful and even had a washing machine! This was not an issue for us as we didn’t eat in the apt but maybe they could add a few dishes/glasses but that was so minor that it didn’t bother us at all. We would’ve definitely stayed longer if we had the time. Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff!

I have stayed here several times, last time about 4 yrs ago. On this tripI was disappointed to have a broken meter cupboard, damaged bag rack, and tired bathroom in the room. To be honest ( and I liked Pestana Casablanca) the quality of accomodation has dropped, and this I really am sorry to point out. One main redeeming feature were the front desk staff and security man on the ground floor. All were really great ambassadors for the brand, particularly Chaimou ( might have mis spelt her name) who really was a perfect example of Moroccan hospitality at its best. I was in 205 I think, and came away thinking maybe I had seen the best times here previous to this stay.

One of across my room guest had a dog, barking nonstop, I complaint front desk, no one responded, I talk directly, but next morning I woke up because dog barking and I hear next room hall way from my room. Restaurant menu was bad. I wont stay there again

Our family of five had an excellent ten day stay at the Pestana and could not have asked for anything more. We upgraded for a slight price increase upon arrival to a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with a large living room area. There was a small kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and mini-fridge/freezer, equipped with basic cooking/eating necessities. We hosted family for couscous on the huge balcony, and the staff was quick to provide us with extra spoons to accommodate our guests. There was also a washing machine and drying rack! The location cannot be beat: right off the beach, private outdoor pool, steps from the Anfa Place mall (so convenient with a Carrefour grocery store, excellent pharmacy, Alpha 55 store with inexpensive beach/pool necessities, Paul cafe, Starbucks, restaurants, children’s play area like Gymboree that includes drop-off care, an art studio with classes and kid camps, and so much more) — everything you need and want for an easy, relaxing vacation. Additionally, the entire area felt safe enough that we were comfortable letting our kids go to the pool on their own and our preteen to go on solo walks. The staff at all levels were incredibly kind and welcoming, doing everything they could proactively do to make our stay excellent. All of the staff at reception spoke excellent English. We would gladly stay again and HIGHLY recommend!

Everything looked great until we had ants in the room. That was not good. Also, the hanging dryer in the bath has burned my arm when heated up. That was terrible. Using a metallic dryer is something of the past. Porcelain is the way to go. Beside, we were pleased.

Arguably, the best location in Casablanca, but there is an absolute lack of information in the rooms. Not even a phone directory or which amenities you’re entitled to. You have to ask for appliances like microwave over or kettle. This should be informed to you during the check-in.

Pestana Casablanca is located on the beach in upscale Anfa, away from the traffic and noise in downtown Casablanca. But, no worries, there are plenty of restaurants and retail available nearby at the adjacent Anfa Place Mall and on the boardwalk. I stayed in an Executive King suite and I believe all the rooms at this property are apartment-like suites. My room was very spacious and modern with an excellent view of the ocean and the pool. The beach can be accessed directly from the hotel and the pool is small, but well-maintained (it was not crowded when I was there and was very relaxing). Hafsa and all the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The airport transfer service provided by the hotel was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again or at another Pestana property.

Well, this hotel is suit hotel, looks good. but the parking is terrible. the taxi can't drop us at the front of the door, the parking is not allow us to drop at front door. and the employee help me call the taxi, but the taxi charge me more 15dh. The entrance and facilities in the rooms were great. The rooms themselves were especially nice and spacious, more than enough room for 2 guests. Location on the beach and along the Ain Diab strip was also a lovely bonus. However, for some guests it would be nice to know about the no alcohol license due to the great mosque directly outside the hotel. Otherwise, lovely stay st this hotel.

The location at the beach was what I wanted although the building and rooms were a little tired. The room price was almost as much as the Four Seasons nearby, should have just gone there instead. The breakfast was passable. I was unhappy with the guide that they gave us, he was really just a driver and we should have just taken a taxi. It was overpriced and felt like the guide tried to extend the time so he could charge us more. The price they gave us was different than what was in the front desk but we didn't see it until the tour was done. I was unhappy.

The property is very clean best location in casablanca as it is near to most of the beautiful lounges and just 2 mins walk to Afna Palace mall. Very beautiful view of the sea I strongly recommend to stay at this hotel and the stuff are very friendly and helpful. For sure will go back. Thanks to pestana Casablanca well done.

The manager of the property told expedia that my credit card is not working, afterwards I spoke with the manager of why my reservation was cancelled without any notice. The manger claimed that the room is guaranteed until 6:00 PM. My arrival was at 7:30 PM Although, in expedia it says check in ends at 11:30 PM!! Never again.

The hotel staff were great, very service oriented and freindly. The only issues I saw were the condition of the rooms. Doors that did not close properly, lights that did not work, no utensils for cooling or even preparing take out food in the kitchenette area (part of the reason we wanted this room). The loca area is nice with a few good restaurants and some shopping in a mall nearby. The hotel is not exactly close to the city and staff might have been better trained to offer suggestions for tourism. As it was we went to Ricks Cafe for lunch with was great, but after that, the directions we got (or lack thereof), led us into the Medina where as westerners, we were obviously not welcomed. We were only there 2 days on layover from Cape Town to Lisbon but the genera consensus is never go back. Would I look at Pestana hotels again? Yes, with lowered expectations.

The staff were polite, attentive and helpful. I left my handbag in the taxi to the airport, the staff saved a terrible situation (no passport/money/credit cards/keys etc.) by immediately recalling the driver, who returned to the airport with my bag within 20 minutes.

Informe hotel that 3 guests will be staying in the suite and will be having late check in. Upon arrival, rooms were not tidy up and it takes them half an hour to get everything sort out. Washing Powder was not provided and not available and therefore unable to do any laundry in room. Not recommended business stay.

I came for work and this hotel is very inconvenient for the business traveller - no business center, not even a scanner in the office of the hotel, no proper restaurant in hotel. The rooms were great but I moved to a new room half way through. There were lots of maintenance problems in the new room: ac not working, lights out, internet not functioning. They repaired it fast enough but the fact that now when the hotel is not full, they put me into a room that they obviously did not maintain and did not check is very unfortunate. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our stay at Pestana was great. You can walk right outside and be on the beach, which is just what we needed. The hotel was clean, the room was huge, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We didn't explore much of Casablanca, but the hotel was located in a new "tourist" development that made it easy.

We booked this apart hotel partly because in a virtually alcohol free part of Casablanca, hotels.com listed it as having a bar. However, there was no bar, nor were there any restaurants or bars nearby serving alcohol. In fact the nearest shop, bar or restaurant serving alcohol was 25 minutes walk away. The room was large and well equipped and the beds were comfortable, however the kitchenette was poorly equipped with no kettle or teaspoons or mugs. It had several oven dishes but no oven. There were several long black hairs between the sheets of my bed. It was also miles from the centre of Casablanca, but taxis were quite cheap. Sadly on the first night of our stay there was a large noisy function in a marquee next door, and for the next two days the marquee was (very noisily) being dismantled.
