Der Empfang, der Umgang, der Service war sehr gut. Der Rezeptionist Muhssine war äußerst bemüht auf unsere Wünsche einzugehen und alles nach unseren Wünschen umzusetzen. Das Personal am Pool war super freundlich, der Service lässt keinen Wunsch offen. Das Hotel ist eine 10 von 10.
Cons: Wir als 6 köpfige Familie haben nichts auszusetzen. Verbesserungsvorschläge wäre das Angebot im KidsClub, mit Film schauen oder Bilder ausmalen im Hochsommer war etwas langweilig für die Kinder.

Cons: حجزنا فيلا برايفت تتكون من غرفتين بمبلغ وقدره وجداً غالي ولكن مافي خصوصية في الفيلا .. بسبب دخول رجل من الباب الخلفي من جهة المسبح وهذا لايليق بنا .. من ناحية النظافة لايوجد تنظيف ممتاز والفيلا جدا غير نظيفة من اول يوم دخول ويومياً لم يكون تنظيف جيد ولم يتم تغيير مفارش السرير يومياً بل المفارش نفس ما اهيا من اول يوم دخول .. بالمقابل احنا دافعين مبلغ جداً عالي على فيلا غير نظيفة وسيئة .. اتمنى يتم تغيير وتطوير في الفندق تجربة لا اكررها في فندق فيرمونت

Cons: Er was nergens service! Aan het zwembad zeiden ze dat de bar gesloten was. ( dus geen drank … water… ) Service in de kamer is heel traag… In de fitness waren er soms geen beketertjes om water te drinken. De service in het restaurant ( Olivier ) is heel traag … het duurt een eeuwigheid vooraleer je iets krijgt ! Ze zeggen altijd “ja “ maar ze hebben niets gesnapt!

Leider war der Aufenthalt sehr enttäuschend. Das Hotel war voll mit Kleinkindern. Der Frühstücksraum war überfüllt, die Tische und Stühle wurden nicht gereinigt, Service Inkompetent, viele Mitarbeiter sprechen nicht einmal Französisch, Essensangebot war ok. Zimmer sehr abgenutzt und kalt. House Keeping hat Wünsche nicht erfüllt. Nur 3 Kaffeetabs pro Zimmer pro Tag, Verlangen für mehr Tabs wurde nur nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen nachgekommen. Die Wattepads im Badezimmer waren sehr schlecht Qualität und sind zerfallen, wenn man die Cleasing Lotion darauf gegeben hat.
Cons: Service, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, Hotel in die Jahre gekommen, ungepflegt, absolut renovationsbedürftig.

Fabulous main pool and other smaller pools. Wnderful breakfast with loads of variety on offer Huge comfortable room. Excellent golf course a short walk away or buggies readily available for those who needed them. Excellent tennis and padel courts
Cons: Pool water was a little too warm given the outside temperature Services at all meals was enthusiastic if a little haphazard - you get used to it after a while! Charging extra for tennis and padel was somewhat unreasonable given the high cost of the stay Restaurant evening meals could have more variety and there was little on offer for vegetarians or those with special dietary needs. Golf demands a local caddie, some of which are better (and more enthusiastic) than others.

Staff were great, I was greeted by my name by several members of the staff at a number of occasions. I was able to communicate with the concierge (Moulay) via Whatsapp and I suspect he even managed my requests on his day off. People in the golf shop are great. Facilities were top but I would have expected that for the price we paid.
Cons: Transport arrangements via hotel are overly expensive. Better to negotiate with a yellow taxi (half the price) or even better Uber (1/3 of the price). I was told Uber is illegal but service was great (Mercedes vans etc).

Cons: Asking a takeway coffee at checkout was a nightmare : 20 minutes of waiting time. When received, instead of offering the coffee for the very long wait, they had the nerve to charge us two coffees. I left extremely disappointed and frustrated. You ruined all the great weekend !!!

Super hôtel, très beau et agréable, avec beaucoup d’activités sur place. Les chambres sont très grandes et confortables, le cadre magnifique. Le personnel est aux petits soins et rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Le petit-déjeuner était vraiment top, varié et délicieux. Un grand merci au staff de la conciergerie qui nous a énormément aidés et a trouvé des solutions de dernière minute très efficaces.
Cons: Petit point à améliorer : la nourriture proposée directement à la piscine n’était pas géniale, tandis que celle du restaurant de la piscine manquaient d’options adaptées aux grandes chaleurs.

Hotel is amazing! For the price, I would have loved it if breakfast could be delivered in bed for the days we wanted to lazy around and sleep in. The staff at the front desk, cleaning staff, spa and the rest of the facility were super warm and hospitable. the hotel is super attentive to details. they even went as far as checking the resturants we wanted to reserve to ensure they were open, they booked it for us and set up a luxury car to pick us a few times. Highly recommend.
Cons: Overall it was a serene, beautiful facility for sure. The on site resturants with the exception of breakfast have a long way to go. My husband and I ate at the golf course one saturday afternoon and the service was sub par. inattentive staff, inadequate food, the service just seemed like a 2.5 star. we were disappointed.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine chauffée ce qui est très agréable et sympa surtout bop un hôtel de renom et de standing comme le Fairmont. Le petit déjeuner copieux et frais notamment les œufs Benedict excellent. Notre chambre spacieuse avec douche et baignoire et wc fermer dans la sdb + un grand et spacieux dressing pour nous deux. Une literie au top. Le personnel agréable à notre service.
Cons: Tout était très bien mis à part sur la propreté à la piscine de l’hôtel qui devrait être fait un peu plus et dans certains couloirs un peu de poussières sur les balustrades des marches d’escalier.

Cons: Aucun standard de service pour un hôtel de cette catégorie ( notamment arrivée / départ) Heureusement, la gentillesse du personnel compense. La restauration est totalement désorganisée ( 45 mn d’attente pour une pizza le midi - manque de produits proposés sur la carte). Les commissions exagérément élevées sur les services en conciergerie ( ex transfert ).

I am hugely thankful for the whole team, from housekeeping ( such a lovely man who was doing the evening service), the room service who were delightful and so helpful and kind (for in room breakfast), the staff at the pool restaurant, Abderrazak is a gem! Choukran besaf à tous. I had the most amazing oriental service with the most lovely masseuse. Food and drinks excellent! Front desk and concierge super efficient as well as the baggage team! What I liked the most, beside the whole staff, was the great swimming pool, the gardens, lovely trees, golf course and the leisure and sports center. We will be back !

Cons: The breakfast was very poor, and the cleanliness of the room, especially after daily housekeeping, was extremely disappointing. They didn’t replenish any items, nor did they change the bed linens. Slippers were not provided, and the room wasn’t cleaned or organized in a way that resembled a proper five-star hotel standard. Any food served in the room was cold upon arrival. Overall, the price charged for the hotel’s services and quality was absolutely unreasonable and overpriced.

Food and Beverage in the hotel is absolutely amazing. If it's breakfast with all the tastes of the world - tailored to the clientèle of the hotel, there is everything one needs. Freshly made and catered to all needs. I loved it and as I am a fresh fruit and healthy food lover, just marvellous, whereas my husband enjoyed the open kitchen to order any kind of eggs any style. We also appreciated to take some fruit and pastry with us to the golf course.

Beautiful suites with attention to detail, very well maintained. Staff were excellent from front desk to house keeping, polite, courteous & very professional. We couldn’t have asked for better experience on our first visit to Morocco. I would certainely say we will be back for longer next time. It was everything we could wish for a more. De l’architecture extérieure, aux lumières tamisées à l’intérieur ce complexe hôtelier est fabuleux. La décoration, les jardins, les divertissements tout était superbe. Le personnel est fantastique, on se sent comme chez nous.
Cons: Seul et unique bémol que nous avons soulevé : La propreté des transats aux espaces piscine. En effet ils sont tous abîmés, parfois tachés et on se bagarre un peu pour obtenir un matelas. Pour un hôtel resort ça laisse à désirer… je pense qu’il faudrait améliorer ce point.

Sauf la chaleur un peu torride tout était très bien. La paisible cote la salle de sport était sublime et cela a calme un peu le chaud. La chambre était aussi très bien avec un upstage qui nous a permit d'avoir trois lits séparés et mes 2 filles ont très bien dormit en privatif. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la salle de sport que nous avons utilisé régulièrement pendant le séjour ainsi que le bar ou nous avons déjeuner presque tous les jours. nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé tous les personnels nous avons rencontrés et avec qui nous avons conversé et sympathisé. Enfin nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Au restaurant Marocain le tagine de poisson me manquera comme je n'ai pas encore aux restaurant locaux au Maroc. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon et agréable ainsi que le personnel y compris le chef avec qui nous avons sympathiser. Bref tout était bien et l'hotel porte bien son grand nom et auréole. Un grand merci a Meryem et la directrice Djazia trèssympathiques et qui ont encore facilité notre prochain séjours a Casablanca. Vous nous manquerez beaucoup.

Also, the taxi firm used by the hotel was crazy expensive to go to the airport, compared with other executive car services (more than 2x the price). There is nothing around the hotel once you go outside....you need to drive to the centre. Despite this, I would definitely stay at the hotel again as the facilities were wonderful.

The property is beautiful and the staff very friendly and went out of their way especially Rahal and Oumamia ( I think that was her name) but also many others. They made my birthday celebrations very special. The room turndown was also excellent with some lovely romantic decorations. The quality of the food was also very good.
Cons: Once outside the hotel the surrounding area is very run down and looks terrible. We had planned a golf holiday but the course was closed for 5 out of 7 days and we were not informed beforehand.

Cons: l’absence de matelas/coussin sur les chaises longues de la piscine qui sont très inconfortable. Nous avons préféré profiter de la piscine du country club de golf qui est à 100 mètres.

Cons: The room was not as clean as other luxury resorts I’ve stayed at. The service was very slow and we sometimes had to wait a long time to get served or for people to take our orders. Used towels on the pool beds and empty glasses/bottles were not removed for hours after the guest who used them left and tables at the restaurant were often not tidied once the guest left. The pool beds did not have cushions, so they were a bit hard.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön. Was speziell zu betonen ist, sind die tollen und grossen Zimmer, dafür gibt es 10 Punkte. Generell hat das Hotel ein tolles Ambiente und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel hat zudem ein tolles Sportangebot. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich. Zimmerreinigung war top. Das Hotel ist geeignet für Leute, die Golfen, Sport treiben und sicher holen möchten. Wer Marrakesch/Marokko erleben möchte, sollte sich ein Riad in der Stadt nehmen, was wir am Anfang der Ferien gemacht hatten. Als Abschluss unserer Rundreise war das Fairmont perfekt.
Cons: Die Liegestühle am Pool sind leider sehr unbequem. Um den Service am Pool muss man sich selbst kümmern, der dann aber sehr nett ist. Die Restaurants waren enttäuschend, Qualität, Preis/Leistung plus 2x kaltes Essen. Selbst nach Rückgabe des Essen wurde es wieder kalt serviert. Der Service in den Restaurants könnte besser sein. Das Sushi Restaurant war am besten. Das Hammam war 2x privat besetzt und konnte nicht benutzt werden. Das geht nicht und gehört zum allgemeinen Angebot und müsste jederzeit zugänglich sein. Das Hotel ist sehr teuer, daher waren die Erwartungen sehr hoch und wurden teils nicht erfüllt.

De restaurants waren allemaal heel goed - Aziatisch bij de bar, het Marrokaanse restaurant boven, de Italiaanse keuken beneden, goede lunch bij het zwembad. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en heel uitgebreid. Het zwembad is super en het uitzicht is adembenemend!
Cons: - De bedjes bij het zwembad waren wat sober, bedjes met een kussen waren fijn geweest. - Soms moesten we lang wachten op eten/drinken/hulp, het was ook druk, maar soms waren ze ons vergeten - maar ze maakten het altijd goed!

Me encantó TODO, es un hotel maravilloso, decorado increíble, acogedor, un ambientador de olor muy agradable en todo el hotel, flores frescas en el desayuno, y en todo sitios, por cierto, muy bueno, variado y muy buen puesto. Servicio excepcional y servicial. La piscina fantástica, el golf que también jugamos, muy bien....todo sensacional. Está a 15 min de la Medina, y los taxis valen 20€ por trayecto, el hotel dispone también de transfers gratuitos con horarios determinados, vale la pena alojarse aquí, nosotros no hemos hecho mucho turismo, pero sin duda, repetiría.

The hotel was spacious, vast and immaculately kept. Plenty of areas to enjoy some peace and quite and a nice walk around the property and grounds. Lovely golf course, facilities and swimming pools including the gym and spa. Nice choice of restaurants however if you are vegan, the food is extremely limited / no choice in some restaurants. Although the managers were helpful and tried to accommodate, the lack of English speaking staff made it hard to communicate my dietary needs. They really need to include at least two vegan option dishes for starters, mains and deserts as a minimum in all restaurants including at the breakfast buffet, otherwise guests will eat out. As we visited in January the hotel was very quiet as a result staff were super attentive to the point of annoyance. One evening as I was getting ready for a shower a male staff member walked into the room (he may have knocked but I didnt hear). We found therefore found our privacy was lacking due to the constant knocks on the door, offering smoothies, fruit, cakes. Lovely touch but just too much for us. Both our coffee machine and fridge were not working and no hairdryer had been provided. However the best part of the room was the bed, absolutely divine and the best nights sleep weve had in years. One point to note is that everything here is overly expensive. Breakfast was £40 each and an Aperol Spritz £20! Also check your check out bill...they fleeced us on taxi prices compared to the yellow cabs!

Cons: Hotel is like a formula 1 car run by a tractor driver. staff is trying hard but besides Suad, the concierge no one is up to the task. service is simply annoying as they constantly ask you to tip and quote them personally on trip advisor… staff constantly complains about poor management. one example is that they ask you to pay tip in cash as management only pays tip after 8 month…. Food Quality is very poor, highly inconsistent!!! Few options for kids in-house. Pasta Sauce quality changed daily from disgusting to awesome! best food is offered by Pool crew but they leave at 5pm… never experienced anything as bad in my entire life!

The Fairmont is our favourite hotel ..... in the world! We have stayed at so many amazing places but this is just so special. The setting, the design, the service the ambience. Everthing is perfect. For us travelling from Manchester UK it means we can be in a perfect place in just a few hours. It’s our 3rd time and I am sure we will be back again. Thanks also to the pool staff who cannot do enough for you. See you next time.

This property as a whole is amazing. The grounds are meticulous, lush and well-maintained, and the design is gorgeous. I loved that there were three different pools to choose from (main, indoor spa pool, outdoor fitness pool) so there was never any sense of crowding. All of the staff members were super friendly and cheerful, and I was greeted by everyone I passed. The spa looked gorgeous and I'm kicking myself for not getting a service. The room was absolutely huge, and I thoroughly enjoyed the balcony space. I will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing! The staff was super nice and quick to help, always with a nice attitude and positive vibes. They gave us an upgrade on the room as soon as we arrived and it was so beautiful! It was my birthday and the staff/hotel surprised me with a birthday cake with my name on it. It was very thoughtful! We were treated so nicely, the hotel amenities were amazing! I totally recommend and will come back!

The service provided was very good. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and when they gave us the room it was very nicely decorated with rose petals and there was even a bit of cake! It was big and clean, the bathroom had such a nice bath tub and the view from the terrace was lovely. Only downside was that the hairdryer provided by the hotel kind of exploded when I was drying my hair and that was quite scary! All the sockets stopped working because of this. The pool and surroundings were very nice, quiet and relaxing. The food we ordered to our room was quite disappointing and not what you would expect from a 5* hotel. Breakfast was not included which for the room price per night is quite disappointing as well. But overall it's a great place to enjoy the sun and views and relax!

The whole experience was great. We had a great time for the earlier part of our stay. The only issue arose when we upgraded to Junior Suite Garden. The room we got (312) was worse than the standard room. The hotel was fully booked and they didn’t seen to communicate properly when we requested to move from that room. We ended up remaining in that room as no one responded to our complaints and a promise to send a manager after several complaints never happened Overall it is still a lovely hotel. And you can see from my previous review of the hotel that we loved it. We had lunch at the Golf restaurant on the last afternoon and that was superb, wish we had found that earlier.

The family rooms were lovely & large, however we weren’t too impressed by the housekeeping service - we had to request them to restock toiletaries and loo roll a couple of times. The outside swimming pools, tennis courts & gym were super & very well maintained. However, the restaurant and spa prices were higher than those charged by many 5* hotels in London, but sadly not as good quality. Overall we enjoyed the hotel, but with a little more attention to detail & quality and a review of their pricing, it could be a fantastic rather than a very nice hotel.

We just came back from a fantastic stay in one of the hotel’s beautiful villas - absolutely loved it! The service and staff are wonderful and fhe beds are super comfortable too. We don’t play golf but there are plenty of other things to do too and the villa was so nice we mainly just hung out there. The kids loved spending time in the kids club where there were lots of different activities Will definitely return!

After three nights at a Riad in the Medina, we booked our last night at the Fairmont for a change of pace--and boy was it. The property is very lovely, but we may as well have been in Scottsdale, Arizona: golf carts, manicured lawns, a total escape from the bustle and culture of inner Marrakech. If this is what you are looking for, by all means--the Fairmont is a great property. There were many nice touches [beautiful pool area, dramatic decor, candles throughout the property after dark], however we found the atmosphere to be a bit quiet and uptight for our tastes--and even got yelled at by our neighbors for "talking too loud" while enjoying lunch on our room's patio. [That room service, by the way, was never bussed--we returned from drinks and dinner that evening to no turndown service and food still sitting on the patio, which was still there when we checked out the next morning.] One night was plenty here for us!

All i would say is that they need more staff in terms of life guards to oversee the pool, the spa needed more trained staff which would really take it up to an intentional standard

Management is pretty arrogant and either not willing or unable to solve issue's. Very disappointing and unusual for Fairmont. Therefore, place is not worth a second visit.

Almost everything about this place is amazing. The accommodations, the food, the entire atmosphere, the service and the pool were all awesome. The only thing I would flag upfront is the price of some of the things, which is high. That's not unexpected when you are at a resort of this caliber. The other thing is that it is very French. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but you will hear mostly French as it is the 2nd language of Morocco. The downside of the setup is the smoking that you may be exposed to when having a meal or sitting somewhere. The junior suite that I stayed in was spacious and had a great terrace. There are birds everywhere that swoop in if you leave your food alone. The common spaces are great, including the Sports Center, which has a pool, tennis courts, squash courts, ping pong and lots of fitness equipment. This is a much better place to stay than in the Medina. There's a shuttle that leaves every to hours that takes you into town, so it's very convenient.

We have stayed in some of the worlds finest hotels but this takes some beating. Just about everything you could ask for. Attention to detail on just about every level. Its hard to put in to words just how amazing this hotel & place is. Great for every traveller, couples, groups, families with Children, it has the lot. The views a breathtaking - waking up the first morning, opening the curtains to see the Atlas Mountains was a memory and experience that we will never forget. Truly amazing. This is 5 star + !!

The Fairmont group has recently taken over the management of The Royal Palm hotel. The hotel is 20 mins outside the city and there's little to do around it. A shuttle bus is provided for hourly transfers to the Medina but if making your own way then allow at least 250dhs each way for a taxi and more for a private car. We were paying 60 euro for a round trip with a private driver. The hotel occupies a beautiful setting in spacious grounds with views over their magnificent golf course all the way to the stunning Atlas mountains in the distance. It's a fair walk between the main reception building and the bedroom suites but golf buggies are available. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed and the daily Morrocan pastries were a nice touch. The indoor Spa pool area was a disappointment, cold and lacking in atmosphere. The treatments, however, were excellent, I had the traditional hammam and massage and my wife had a pedicure. The gym is suitably equipped with both weights and cardio equipment. Unusually a squash court too! The outdoor pool is huge and heated! Why couldn't the indoor pool be the same? We had a couple of issues during our stay. They mainly related to a misunderstanding of our requests so when I rate hotel staff as 'ok' it's only because of their misunderstanding of English. In other respects the staff are of course very friendly It's also fair to say that when we voiced our issues the Mangers dealt with them professionally.
