Wonderful stay. The staff, foo and location are beyond compare. Beautiful riad but it’s the staff that makes it so very special. Food is to die for. Every night we sat on the upstairs deck enjoying the beautiful prayers coming from the miniarets. So lovely. Again, I can’t say enough about the women working at the riad. They should come to the u.s. and give lessons on kindness and grace. Truly amazing!

What an amazing Riad and spa in the heart of beautiful Chefchaouen. We stayed at a suite on the top floor with access to the terrace and a wonderful view of the blue city. Easy walk to all around the city and the main square. Staff were very hospitable. Great place to stay.

This is a lovely riad with wonderful service. Everyone we encountered were so pleasant and accommodating (from reception, to staff serving meals and housekeeping). We were on the 4th floor (had lots of steps to get there) but the view from our terrace was worth it ! They even brought our dinner to our room one night ! The room was quite comfortable, a bit on the small side, but we felt right at home. Our stay was the first stop in a 2 week trip in Morocco, so it was a great way to start with wonderful hospitality and comfort. I would highly recommend staying here.

Overall a nice hotel in the middle of Chefchaouen. Quite a walk up from where the cars can drop you. Room was comfortable and we had a nice view over the city which is a very popular tourist attraction. The staff were very nice and helpful especially the lady who served us at breakfast. Lots of stairs getting to the rooms and there is a nice roof terrace. If you want to drink alcohol you have to bring your own but overall we enjoyed our stay in the city with the majority of the streets painted in a vibrant blue!

I lately visited the spa & had a really good Moroccon bath experience by Eman, a very professional polite lady. With her techniques, she took off all the dead skin without any rash happening to the skin . Should consider reservations before going. I highly recommend the spa.

Beautiful ryad with easy access to everything and great hosts. The spa is fantastic too. The breakfast was delicious and included with the stay, and we were able to book the pool to use in private for half an hour. Roof top access and views were impeccable.

This is a really comfortable Riad that gave us such a warm welcome! The Riad sent men to come down to the edge of the Medina to meet us and collect our bags. They also carried our suitcases up to our room on the top and back down to the car park when we left. It’s in a great spot where you can walk around and lose yourself but get back with google maps! Breakfast was delicious with a selection of breads, savoury and sweet, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs served however you like them. We also had dinner at their restaurant and I had a delicious baby goat tagine. We had a couple Hammam too which was our first time - I’ve never felt so clean and my skin was so soft Excellent staff Highly recommend

This place was amazing. The service was remarkable from start to finish. Examples: - We asked for someone to meet us at the CTM bus terminal, and the Manager herself met us as we walked off the bus, she arranged the taxi, rode with us to the Medina Gate where we were met by a porter who took our three heavy bags and led us right to the place. - Lunch was prepared for us from scratch and was delicious. - We had the room on the 4th (top) floor (room #5) which was absolutely spotless and beautiful. - But the Rooftop Terrace was the unexpected surprise - the view was absolutely amazing, and was accessible from our living room doors. - In the evening we went to the lobby to relax and immediately mint tea and cookies appeared, at no charge and without asking. - The breakfast was freshly prepared for us and delicious. - We had the same service when we left - the porter carried our bags again, walked us out to the gate and got us a taxi. This was five star all the way. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Chefchaouen. We almost extended our stay we liked it so much.

Characterful, historic building, well renovated with historical touches. Staff professional and friendly enough. And food well presented by pleasant staff, although if you like wine with dinner, remember that much of Morocco is dry. Cannot comment on pool/spa; closed at time of stay. Note on parking; the property has no on-premise parking. Park in Plaza Parador if there’s space, then phone the property, who will send you a porter the 400m for your bags. Once in the property, the rooms are welcoming (I had a great night’s sleep) and the roof terrace gives one of the great views of the town and surrounds; take the rough with the smooth, and enjoy!

Stayed two nights at the wonderful 17-room Lina Ryad & Spa (established in 2012) over Christmas. Our driver dropped us off near the handicrafts centre. If not for the “porters” from the riad, it would have been rather difficult to find the property on our own. As the name suggest, the property has a spa onsite as well as a pool which has to be reserved on hourly blocks. Service by the lovely staff cannot be faulted. We were treated very well with things explained clearly. The Moroccan breakfast was yummy and takes a lot of discipline to not overeat. It’s nice that the riad warms up the bread. Breakfast is served from 7-12! If eating in for dinner, we highly recommend the baby goat. We had room 5. Really nothing to complain. The room has the usual fridge, kettle, hair dryer, in-room safe. The TV works and we even found BBC News in English (channel 323) and Al Jezeera English (channel 92). WiFi was more than acceptable for our purpose. The property is not like other riads we have been to with the central courtyard and high ceiling. It is more modern with plenty of conveniences. The rooftop terrace affords a wonderful view of the city and for one to catch the brilliant sunset. Definitely recommend the property to anyone contemplating a stay in Chefchaouen.

Chefchaouen is a stunning city and a must visit in Morocco. Unfortunately, we booked a room with mountain views and we given room #2 with no view, except the alley full of trash and right above the kitchen. The fish smell from the night's dinner was so awful they brought up airfreshner and a candle for us. The noise from the kitchen starting early in the morning was even better :(. For a 5 star Riad and the cost, we expected much more. They are very nice and professional though and the pool was delightful. Breakfast was nice. Definitely not the top Riad, the awards or reviews boasted, which we were hoping for.

Luckily we had our guide to help us. This Riad is a bit of a hike from the main road. Plus you have to climb multiple steps just to get into the hotel . Our room was on the third floor , so a lot of steps . If you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. That being said , the food in the hotel was quite good . The service was excellent and everyone was quite friendly . The roooms were quite clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay here

Stunning location with a superb staff! The warm pool was closed off for my husband and I to have a private 1 hour swim, which just hit the spot after walking the streets exploring all day. The dinner served was excellent! Our breakfast delicious and filling! The staff deserve a huge shout out for always smiling and handling every need we had...even bringing us a late night snack of bread and cheese! This is a gem of a location, highly recommended by us!!

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very gracious and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and served quickly. We took advantage of the Hammam and massage service and we’re so happy that we did. As others have mentioned, if you need help with your luggage, call ahead and they will send a porter to meet you. It seems like a long way up the road when you first arrive, but it’s actually just a five minute walk. The location is perfect for visiting shops, other restaurants, and taking a small walk up to the mosque. We highly recommend this ryad.

We have been thrilled with Lina Ryad and Spa. The rooms and bathroom are beautiful and spacious with nice toiletries. The spa treatments available are so reasonable and amazing including the "hammam" which is a body scrub on wet marble by Lupna, who did a wonderful job. I also enjoyed one of the best 60 minute massages and 30 minute foot massages of my life with Ikram!! There is a beautiful indoor pool to enjoy (and you can even reserve it for free for an hour if you wish). The location is great and you can walk around all the beautiful blue streets and vendor markets. The staff has been incredibly accommodating. There is no elevator and it takes some effort to get from the main street through the alleyways to get to the hotel itself…upon the way in... however, their porters are very willing and able to help with your luggage… So it was no problem at all. They also have a rooftop terrace with lovely views of the city, particularly in the evening. Also, the food is delicious, varied and plentiful! Their welcome "lemon juice drink" is out of this world delicious! I would also like to recognize Hajar, Nejwa, Saada and Hossein who all made our visit extra special! I would not hesitate to recommend Lina Ryad and Spa when visiting Chefchaouen!

We recently stayed 2 nights at the Riad while we were on a three week vacation to Europe/Morocco. While travelling we stayed at 12 different hotels, and our group of 4 agreed the Riad was one of the nicest hotels we stayed at due to the kindness and hospitality of the staff. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and felt the service was impeccable. We also liked the comfortable beds, clean rooms and comfortable space, and warm and relaxing pool. We would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the beautiful blue pearl city of Chefchaouen ✨

It can be a tad noisy even inside the lovely Ryad. The staff were excellent, and we enjoyed the hamman. The breakfasts are generous and the dinner very tasty. My little complaint is that the bathroom was tiny and dim and there is no full length mirror. The room itself was large and comfortable. And we were even able to get CNN tv.

This is a delightful Chefchaouen option at the top of a hill with a spectacular view. We were in Room 5, on the 4th floor with no elevator. That was inconvenient but the room and its view helped to counter that piece. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and included. Location within the spectacular Medina was excellent. All in all a great choice.

We enjoyed our stay the this Ryad. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were beautiful. This is probably without a doubt the fanciest hotel in Chefchaouen. We would come back here again. The pool/ham man is beautiful. The property is lovely but it is a little tired and the bathrooms in the bedroom could do with a little bit of an upgrade. That’s is me being picky because it is not a cheap place to stay. However it is a beautiful place so I don’t want to be too negative.

This is the nicest property by far in Chefchaouen. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. The free breakfast was the best meal we had during our stay. However, the room was very warm, despite there being air conditioning. On the first night, we requested a fan, however it did not make much of a difference unfortunately. Keep in mind that Lina Ryad is located on top of a hill that is not accessible by car. Call the hotel once you arrive, so the porter can help you with your bags. Even with his help, the walk up the hill is warm and uncomfortable in the summer months.

Lina Riad is past its prime by about 30 or so years. The place looks really unkept - wrinkled curtains, dirty table clothes. Our room was in the process of cleaning while we were already in it 2 hours past check in time. Hostesses were tolerant but not polite or welcoming. We are really not a difficult guests and enjoyed all the places we stayed in Morocco, this one we were told is a specially good one - and that one was a miss..

Just lovely. We were reluctant to leave this gorgeous place. Our room was fabulous. Large, airy, lovely décor and view to mountains and outside courtyard. Staff were so kind especially the lovely young lady who served our meals. We chose to eat in the hotel the first night as we'd been exploring the streets most of the day and were so impressed that we ate there the next night as well. The food was authentic and truly delicious. The location is perfect although winding through the alleys is a bit of shock when you are dropped off in the square. However, the hotel has someone who will meet you and carry your luggage if you can contact them from the square. There are also plenty of willing helpers in the square who will help for a few euros and believe me it is worth it. Whichever Ryad, guest house or hotel you choose, you are going to have to drag luggage through alleys and upstairs. The breakfast was as good as the meals. The bed was dreamy. The rooftop terrace was magic in the evenings. Everything was perfect.

The room was on level 5 & from the large terrace balcony the view was breathtaking. The reception, kitchen & house keeping staff are the best so far in Morocco & you would be hard to beat them worldwide

The best thing about Lina Ryad is the location. In some ways, it can also be the most frustrating. Lina is located inside the Chefchaouen medina, which means you can't drive to it like most hotels. My GPS never could find the address on Hassan I. Take Hassan II to the roundabout and try to find parking (which in Morocco means negotiating with someone). You then walk with your luggage through the cobblestone alleys to the hotel. There are plenty of people who will help you for a price (which again you have to negotiate). Once at Lina you are in the middle of the "blue city". Now you can relax and explore. Lina is a boutique hotel and is relatively small, maybe 12 rooms. The building is new, but made to feel historic. The staff was excellent and the food service is exceptional. Had a delicious breakfast and dinner the night before might have been the best meal I had in Morocco. A couple cautions that some people may not expect. It's not very handicap accessible, but not much in the medina is. Also, the rooms lock but there are open windows into a center atrium. Guests get privacy by closing the curtains, but you can hear others guests. The atrium looks down into the beautiful blue lit pool.

Very good hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean and staff are helpful. By all accounts, it's the best hotel in Chefchaouen.

We were at conclusion of 9 days in Morocco...we had stayed a 2 other Riads in Marrakech and Fes...we found this stay and accommodations a VERY pleasant surprise...overlooks one of the finest vistas you will ever see...staff very helpful...room spotless and stylish. Ask for the top floor Junior Suite...we had entire floor to ourselves!!! If you ever make it to Chefchouen...THIS is the place to be!!!

Great location. Hard bed. Staff less than 5 star but still very very kind and accommodating. Just need a little more training and polishing.

Nice hotel, probably the best in Chefchouen. We had a room opening out into a terrace proving a good view of the town. Rooms were well maintained, spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast Staff was very friendly and helpful

The service is the standout here. Dinner was closed but they sent up some bread, cheese and olives. Everyone was very friendly and they spoke excellent English at the front desk. Rooms are beautiful. There are a lot of stairs both getting to the hotel and to your room. Also noise carries through the beautiful open courtyard style lobby so if you seek sound-proof rooms this is not the place for you. We enjoyed the hum of life in the hotel and streets outside though.

Sweetest and most helpful staff here of any hotel I’ve stayed at in the world. Abraham and Houda are exceptional and make you feel like they are family. So grateful for their hospitality!

Beautifully decorated rooms. In the heart of the Chfchaouen medina. Helpful staff. Didn't have time to try out the hammam or pool.

We loved Lina Ryad, both for our stay and for the excellent cuisine for breakfast and dinner! Stepping into the Riad and sipping fresh mint tea immediately calms you. The room is comfortable, clean and well decorated carrying the blue theme indoors, we had an excellent stay at Lina Ryad!

Before booking this Riad, I checked reviews and it was rated a 5 star property. I have stayed at several 5 star properties and this definitely isn't a 5 star property. It is located in the Medina which gets very dark at night. Causing it very hard to find. In addition it is a long walk from the main square. Our room was nice but in need of some repairs. The staff are very friendly. They gave us information on how to contact them in case we got lost. We stayed at several Riad's during our stay in Morocco and in comparison this Riad is very over priced.

This Riad does not deserve a 9 rating, its deserve 10 or higher. We stayed one night, unfortunately. Rooms were excellent, staff exceptional, breakfast tasty and extensive. Pool can be reserve and closed off for privacy. Atmosphere was Zen like, peaceful. Do not miss the incredible view from the rooftop deck. We had and excellent sunset dinner on the deck which sports a beautiful view of the city. The management has your best interest at heart.

We enjoyed our time at this centrally located Ryad. The staff was friendly and the service good. The room/fixtures could use some updating. Spa treatment: The massage was ok, focusing too much on our legs, not enough time on the back and neck. I was not a fan of the incense used to mask the chlorine. The fragrance was too much.

We were in Chaouen for only 2 nights but the time we spent here was magnificent! From the magical, melodious Hammam to the facial, to dinner on the roof, to the excellent breakfast. We loved everything!

The hotel is very nice, it’s clean, comfy, and spacious. It was a bit loud with the configuration of the Riad, but that’s most Riads in the country. I will say the service was a little slow. We asked for towels for the pool and had to walk our wet and cold in the lobby when they forgot. The breakfast was great, location is amazing. I would stay again.

This is a comfortable and modern ryad in the beautiful medina of Chefchaouen. (No close by parking, so you'll have to walk for a few minutes to get there.) We had a comfortable bed, a good wi-fi connection and a great bath and shower. The hotel had a brief electrical problem during our stay and the very nice night manager went out of his way to make up for our inconvenience. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. There is a rooftop terrace with terrific views of the city. Highly recommended!
