Staying at Riad El Amine is what I imagine being a guest at a wealthy friend’s palace would be like. There isn’t formal check-in desk — just exceedingly helpful staff and terrific facilities. The suite, the courtyard, the roof terrace, the pool — everything was so stunningly beautiful and meaningfully crafted, I couldn’t stop admiring the my surroundings and thinking how lucky we were just to be there. Breakfast was delicious - new treats each day! And the staff - wow - we felt so looked after and welcome. The location is good - easy to access the Medina, while also being easy to access taxis. It’s a quiet area, and we slept so well. A wonderful stay!

This Riad is easy to find in The Medina in Fez. They served really good food and the staff is amazing and super helpful. They also have massage and hamam on site. The rooms are amazing and they have a rooftop bar. Would definitely recommend staying here if they have availability!

As an American, this was such a unique experience. The riad was absolutely beautiful. I was continually in awe. Though there is so mich history, it was modern in the way it needed to be modern. The staff were so attentive and helpful. It was such a peaceful place to be! 10/10. I visited another riad while i was there. This one was definitely better!

More beautiful than most tourist attractions. This was the highlight of Fes. Only downside is that wifi does not reach the bedrooms.

Our credit card was showing 2 charges for the 1 night of accommodation. We had several discussions with staff and the manager but the manager was not helpful in resolving this. Staff also tried to overcharge for food we had from the bar menu when we were checking out (nearly doubling the actual cost). The bathroom was very smelly. No wifi available in the rooms, only in the public areas.

The Riad was gorgeous and lavish. The staff who work there- Munir, Halima were amazing. The breakfast and dinner were absolutely great. The hammam was a new spa- not a true spa. While Halima was great with the scrubbing and it was fine and convenient to get the hammam in the Riad, I don’t know if it was a truly authentic. The presidential suite we stayed in was great but the two twin beds were tiny- so if booking for older kids, beware if that. The biggest issue was the manager- who was rude, unhelpful and was almost shouting at us. Turns out plenty of people including the staff know he’s terrible and it seems the owner doesn’t care to fix this issue. I would have recommended this Riad whole heartedly but will not return here just due to him.

The hotel and staff are nice. We were told we would have a coffee machine but there wasn’t one. We tried several times to communicate with hotel before arrival and tried to speak to manager while there. They charged full price for friends’ room which we tried to cancel a week before. Even hotels.com couldn’t get them to communicate. Not the kind of service I have ever encountered in my wide travels.

The public areas were beautiful. It was a unique old house. Access to some of the rooms were difficult with steep steps. The food wasn't as good as we expected. The host was very helpful when we ran into problems with transportation to the airport.

Just like the title says it, Riad El Amine is probably the best place to stay in Fes. Location is excellent (close to the Medina perimeter, in a very quiet location just a few steps from the bustling Medina), inside you’ll feel immersed in the magic of this beautiful country. The food and the great service of all the Staff were the best, everybody was friendly, courteous and professional, making you feel like at home. We will definitely come back to this Riad! Choukran bezef!!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The facilities are beautifully decorated and the ambience is traditional but very well kept and clean. I enjoyed my stay immensely. Just a few pointers. First of all, I think it is very important to have someone trained in hospitality or customer service available for the guests at all times. On a number of occasions, the servers were also the receptionist and sometimes they did not speak English, French or standard Arabic, which made arrangements somewhat difficult. Another thing, the hotel manager was a little bit pushy when it came to selling hotel services (taxi, massage, guided tour) without a clear confirmation or explanation of expecations. Overall, good stay, but to be excellent, need to work on customer service! Thanks!

Riad is beautiful, one enters a place from 1001 nights fairytale. Rooms are huge and stylishly appointed in the same Arabian palace motives. But it shows some age and needs some TLC, especially bathroom. Overall a wonderful experience

Beautiful Riad near the Medina of Fes. Top service and great dining. The decor is very unique. Beautiful room (El Gali). Highly recommended for a romantic get away. One single word to describe the riad is WOW. Only down side was that there was no remote control for the tv even if we asked for it twice but in fact, we would not have watched tv too much anyways.

We had a great stay . Zacharia deserves a medal! He was the best , really made our stay pleasant and luxurious. If we needed anything he went above and beyond to make sure we received it. The place was beautiful and very Moroccan. The decor made us feel like we stepped back in time. I would recommend this riad . Only downfall: The rooftop terrace wasn’t complete when we went.

After an initial hiccup (loud music in the atrium at 10:30), the staff responded very well. Apologetic and interested in making it up to us, they provided us with a very good time for the next 3 days.

It was a beautiful Riad but I must mention my terrible experience with a certain staff. First of all, he mentioned about hashish and insisting that it's very good and he wasn't amused about that I am very strict with this matter. He kept staying around us when we were in bikinis, insisted us to get in the water when it was extremely cold. What I felt it seriously crossed a line was that he proposed us a whole body peeling in sauna. As I reckon, in Moroccan sauna, females should be naked but he repeated asking us for a whole body peeling, keep the door open and entering into the sauna without a notice, so that we were extremely uncomfortable and ashamed. Although he spoke a lot with us, he did not mention us small charges such as water, hamam fees, etc. It was not a really pleasant experience either. Since I got extremely sensitive due to his unpleasant and offensive behaviors, I had such an insecurity during the night since he had an access to the keys. It was sincerely beautiful and all were very kind. I have traveled all around the world during many years and this Riad was one of the most beautiful and authentic hotel. But it's sad to say that this made my trip extremely difficult and most unpleasant experience with the accommodation.

This was a great hotel to stay in Fez, Morocco. Very spacious room, which feels like a palace. Great and friendly stuff. I wish it was in a better condition though. Unfortunately couldn’t use a pool due to cold weather and a Spa / jacuzzi was only available for additional charge.

Great Location, friendly staff. Traditional Moroccan breakfast. Hammam was very good. A must try. A bit on expensive side. Riads in General have the benefit of experiencing a traditional Moroccan Guest House. The Cons are, gloomy even on sunny days, poor fresh air in bedrooms, older plumbing venting and, if you visit in winter, cold. A few more steps could make this place truly fantastic. I would reccomend and would stay here again.

The room is big but the bathroom stinks... There was an awful smell of sewer from the bathroom so we had to keep the bathroom door shut. We saw the same comments from the other guests so we didnt ask for a room change. The riad is situated in a skechy area. You need to walk at least 15 minutes from the centre of the medina. We had been approached by different strangers when we were on the way back to the riad. Not the best location I would say. The dinner in the riad was extraordinarily expensive compared to the other restaurants in the same area, costing us about 700DH for two persons. The food quality was alright. However, it is worth mentioning that I had a dinner in Four Seasons Casablanca which costed me the same price. I felt

Although the interior is quite lovely, this riad is in a sketchy residential area and at least a 20 minute walk from anything. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful - I asked for directions and they said use the GPS on your phone. Half the lights, the tv and the toilet seat were broken in my room. You're better off staying near the Blue Gate

I loved staying here. I was one of the only people and the staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable. From adjusting meal options to even offering to bring my food to my room where it was warmer. They were so lovely and I definitely recommend it. I didnt get to use the spa but did get a tour and it looked SOOO nice especially compared to all the others ive toured in riads of similar prices, so I recommend others take advantage. Every person who worked here was lovely and it was just great :)

Riad El Amime is located just outside the Medina in Old town. It's easy to get to with car and you don't have to drag your luggage across the many ally ways of the Medina. The Riad is pretty but needs some upgrades. I was a bit discouraged upon arriving and not having any one speak English on hand. The welcome wasn't what I expected and it was hard to even get a map with some directions. he lady that check us in was friendly and tried to help but the language was a barrier. The common areas are a bit run down and the lights are kept off so you don't feel welcome to just take a load off after a day of roaming around. The actual room is nice and spacious. Once again it can use some updating. The tub in our room was badly scuffed up, the hair dryer didn't really work but the AC/Heater and TV worked well. The gentleman in the evening spoke English and was very friendly and helped us a lot. He made us feel more comfortable. the Continental breakfast is simple and refreshing. We had dinner one night and it was good. The room dinner was served in was cold and they tried getting the fire place going but it took time. They are looking to expand and i hope they remodel the existing rooms and common areas. I liked the location as it was easy to get to the Medina and new town from here. I'm not sure I'd stay here again unless they did some upgrades.

Zach was amazing, he attended to all our needs including booking a day tour for us last minute. He also arranged transport for us to go to Chefchaouen and we had a great driver Pedro who was also our own personal photographer. The Riad was very photogenic with the Pool and the food was amazing too. The price was very good and We would definitely stay there again.

We loved Riad El Amine, both for our stay and for the excellent cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Stepping into the Riad and sipping fresh mint tea immediately calms you. We found the service to be excellent! The room is comfortable, clean and well decorated, we had an excellent stay at Riad El Amine!

Based on our room and the rate paid, I would not recommend this Riad. However The Raid is beautiful. Staff very helpful and friendly, great service from Zacharia. However our room was not great. Bathroom lower level than bedroom. 2 Lights in bathroom not working. It took 24 hrs to fix. Bath very high off the floor, no hand rail to assist in get out. Robe had no hangers. Only one extra pillow in robe with no cover on it. TV did not work at all. Over head light in bedroom not working, hence room dark. Two beds put together and against the wall , I had to climb over my husband when I needed to get out. The only bedding on the bed were lower and upper sheet and pillows, not blanket in the room to be found. The room was 3 flights up a steep and narrow stairwell . No elevator . My husband had open heart surgery 3 years ago. I complained and was told no other rooms available. We would never have booked at this Riad if I was aware where the room was situated. This place needs regular maintenance checks . And position of that particular room should be advised when booked.
