If you are English avoid this hotel. Positives: Good prompt and professional service at check in and being shown to my room. Public areas really clean and well maintained. Room cleaned and fresh towels everyday. The cleaner was worth every tip I gave her. Really good location, close to beach and shops. Negatives: I booked half board. On my first night I went to get food to be told come back at 8pm as no food now. On my return I was not given a choice of food but was given a basket of bread and a plate of pasta, rice, beetroot, tomato and cucumber as my starter. Then I was given a breakfast bowl of beef and pineapple topped with seasame seeds for my main course. I will share photos of this. No asking of that was what I wanted, if I had dietary needs, food allergies or intolerance or if I was vegetarian or vegan. As it was my first night and after travelling I just accepted it. The following night I was told vegetable soup and chicken dinner. I refused, I have paid half board and I should have a choice of what I want to eat. After a few heated discussions I was given a menu to order from. The following 2 nights there was a coach load of Europeans so evening meal was a lovely cooked buffet which started at 7pm. 5th night all the Europeans had left, I went for food at 7.15 to be told to wait 15 minutes after 35 minutes of waiting I asked about food to be given a bowl of bread and the left over soup from the previous night. I refused this as again I never ordered this, and I did not want this. 20 minutes later they gave me a plate with left over rice and pasta, 2 pieces of cucumber a quarter of tomato and a shrivelled up piece of what I can only think was chicken again from the night before. Again I refused this as I never ordered this and did not want it. The food they gave me was definitely the food I ate the night before and I had also not chosen to eat this I got a load of abuse and left the restaurant to go and order a food delivery so I could eat something of my choosing. The breakfast is basic but adequate. However if you are Arabic I witnessed myself as did other guests they were served different food at different times. Each night I could smell lovely aromas of food cooking including fish but this was never offered to us UK or Europeans. What is shown as an open terrace on photos of this hotel is not an open terrace it is closed and only used by the Arabic guests, the English and Europeans are not allowed to use this area where food is also served. Other issues beyond the hotels control is the waste land. It is used for dumping rubbish and fires, and locals gather until 6/7am in the morning, so if you have a room that overlooks the waste land you can not open your windows at night due to fires, and noise. I was woken most mornings at about 4am due to the noise. This is not a normal half board restaurant. If it was not for the half board situation this hotel would be perfect for a short holiday. My advice is if you come here come either bed and breakfast or self catering. If this hotel wants to expand to guests from the UK or EU they need to understand that these things are observed and that every guest should be given the same food choices. And if meal plans are offered UK and EU guests should be given a choice of food and not last nights left overs. As paying guests we should be able to choose what we eat and not be given the previous nights left overs. I know this is what they do as everything they offered me on my 5th night was what I ate the night before when they had a buffet.

Staff extremely polite and helpful, hotel is standard inside the room & is cleaned daily. Has a beautiful lobby and there's a lift. 10/15 min walk from the beach front, 5 min from a shop so a good location overall! ATM was machine right outside if needed too and a nightclub attached, which we couldn't hear any noise from during our stay. Not sure if the pool is used often and the restaurant was always quiet - food also alright. Would stay here again

This hotel was one of the weirdest ones i've done in most of europe and surrounding areas. dead quiet as of June Eid, literally not another soul used the pool and the resturant had 6-7 people in it at breakfast/dinner MAX. loved the decor, staff very smiley and welcoming, tourist tax about 4 euro a day at reception (so nothing really), breakfast pastries + fruit, dinner is cooked per customer on demand but buffet on weekends. if you actually complain about the location being too far to walk etc etc, u really need the exercise dude its not even 10 minutes to the sea lol... a little pet turtle walks around the pool during the days, very cute overall, fire af hotel with cheap pricing!

The hotel is located about a ten minute, easy stroll away from the beach if you turn left or about the same if you turn right to the shopping/restaurant area. Be aware that it's a climb back; not terribly steep but would be an issue for someone with walking difficulties. Despite the loads of extremely negative reviews I read after booking here, I found the staff pleasant, helpful and courteous. I suppose you get what you give! The room was cleaned every day except Sunday with clean towels every day, whether needed or not. The small pool was adequate and a member of staff brought out a towel for you to use if you were going in. I read lots of complaints about "boring breakfasts" but while it was a continental style, there was good variation and plenty of everything. I think some people expect what they get at home while away, but as the old saying goes, "When in Rome ....." The hotel is rated as a 4star, but that does not mean the same as a 4 star in Britain. More like a 2/3 star here. Yes, the bathroom could do with the seals redone and such things but everything you need is there. The bed was hard, but that's personal preference anyway and the air-con was free. Unlike one reviewer who complained, I had no problem with insects! There were flies outside, but then, you'll find that everywhere in the world. There was no trace inside. There was no entertainent provided and like many places and restaurants, it was alcohol free. There are hotels that aren't as there are a few bars around down on the front. Not the Hilton by a long chalk, a bit basic but the entrance foyer was beautiful and relaxing with plenty of room to sit quietly and privately if you chose. There was nothing much wrong that spoilt my holiday there.

This hotel promises free cancellation but does not honour it. Very unfriendly and nothing like what is advertised. Extremely substandard. Rooms not cleaned, insects, faulty wiring, blocked fire exits, no amenities or shops nearby and staff extremely unhelpful.

Not even sure where to begin. Firstly, my mood was off anyway because I booked an ocean view room. Pic attached is the "ocean view" from my room. It's as if the entire hotel complex was built on some industrial scrap yard and i'm not sure why they're promising an ocean view room when it literally is the complete opposite. Flying all the way from England and opening the curtains to that scenery certainly just made my jaw drop (not in a good way). Secondly, they have a really strange food system. It's one thing that you cannot pay by card. I accepted that, not every country works like UK and I get that. They have this system where if you do not have cash you can pay later but the onus is on a particular waiter. So essentially, one day I did not have change and paid one of the waiters 200 Dirhams instead of 150 dirhams. Waiter promised me he would pay me the 50 next day, I said okay. Next day, he sees me again and tells me he is going to pay it and i'm like it's cool, whenever you get it, it's fine. Ends up that he's on leave on the weekend. So I ask his colleague and his response is "it's not my problem". If these people are the staff from the same organisation, then they have the same responsibility towards guests. On the day I was leaving, I told the reception about this and they just refused to pay and said next time I come they'll come a discount.... As if I would go back there LOL, which i'm sure they knew I would not. Third thing, rude and misleading people in the restaurant. 1 or 2 waiters were nice people but others seem to have an attitude. Whenever i'd ask them to make something on the menu, they would pull faces and be like ohh just have something from the buffet it's fine without telling me I need to pay extra for it lol. The food was bland too but that's besides the point, if they had some basic hospitality , I would not be writing a review like this. Fourthly, even when I would eat there would tend to be ants and other insects walking all over the tables. This did not happen once but multiple times. Fifthly, there's no control on the scammer taxi drivers standing outside the hotels. Never go with these people if you do visit Agadir in general. I know this is not the fault of the hotel but it certainly just made things worse. Swimming pool was barely even deep, it was like it was for kids. The few good things were that the cleaner lady on the floor I was staying at was amazing and did an amazing job whenever she would clean it. She was an older woman who did not speak too much English but the way she left my room sparkling clean was definitely something I appreciated. One or two of the restaurant staff members were nice people.

For a 4☆ hotel i expect good wifi signal. This is my 3rd visit this year and on each occasion the wifi has been problematic. I had to sit in the bathroom to get a decent signal. Also,there was an alnight party at weekend with a lot of music.This is not acceptable.

Do not go to this hotel. Myself and my wife spent the worst week of our lives on holiday at this hotel. There are no bars or resteraunts for miles. The hotels in the middle of a derelict building site. Staff not helpful. Bar had no entertainment or alcohol. Beggers all around the hotel. Hotel is a dump. Avoid. Worst holiday of my life.

The hotel is great clean and very good and quiet location. Their breakfast service was very poor, you’ve to ask for tissues and water otherwise the breakfast was good too. 5 start but for breakfast service 2 Star. I wish I can give 5 starts for everything.

Location Hotel Location out of sight of town centre its up and coming development you need taxi to move about,no shops or restaurant within miles Inside Inside Hotel was clean sometime they clean other times they don't lift ok restaurant very basic Service Service was average .staff not bothered eventhough we were only few people staying they were not forthcoming and will be very slow on every request. Ignorant Food Food was good when they served al-cart due to few clients. When few people were there.they did not serve buffet. When there were more people they served buffet which was very, very poor, breakfast very limited same every day boring staff were lathergic, one staff in restaurant was good enough Overall It's very basic.cheap .Don't expect anything more from staff and management. I will not be going there again for sure!!!

Le Personnel est d'une gentillesse extraordinaire, un grand merci au jeune qui s'occupe du ménage au tour de la piscine et la salle de restaurant. Ce garçon n'est jamais au repos, les clients abusent. Actuellement, il y a des travaux à côté de l'hôtel, mais, se sera agréable en été pour profiter de la piscine. Allez y, mais ne vous faites pas avoir avec les taxis, le prix maximum pour bouger le soir c'est 20 dirhams soit 2 euros, en journée, demandez qu'ils mettent le compteur.. 13 a 15 dirhams. Le premier jour un taxi m'a prit 100 dirhams. Merci à toute l'équipe de cet hôtel, ils sont extraordinaire avec les clients et j'espère qu'ils sont payé et apprécié, on aimerait les mêmes en France.

Avoid this hotel at any cost. You’re better off sleeping on the streets. The service is horrific. The rooms are disgusting, extremely filthy no one cleans them at all. The sheets were clean and the mattress is comfy but that’s about it. There were old clothes and socks on the wardrobe. There was a dirty and a nasty smell of rotting food everywhere. The hotel is out dated and horrible. We couldn’t sleep there at all. Don’t ever come here

The staff was very polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean. There was a problem with the WiFi and they changed me to a different room with better WiFi. The internet speed of WiFi was not very great but it was okay. The intercom was not working in both the rooms I stayed in. The location of the hotel is good. It is close to the beach (just at a walking distance). For the taxi driver, it was hard to find the hotel. The prices of the food in restaurant were reasonable. But they took a lot of time to prepare.

This hotel is perfectly located Walking distance to restaurants or to the beach! It is great for one night or two , Stuff is super friendly and helpful. However, if you have light sleep this hotel is not for you : rooms are no sound proof, you can hear the doors slamming all the time. Plus shouting inside the hotel and on the street late at night , There is night club down the road and there is always something going on , guys fighting on the street and when i was there some woman was driving on the half of the sidewalk ,etc Also On one Sunday morning , some guy was yelling in the middle of the lobby, yes the whole hotel could hear it :((( Other than that , it is an ok stay!

I have been to this hotel many times and I have never had any problems with staff or the hotel. When there are any problems the staff come very quickly to rectify the issue. The hotel restaurant make amazing food and the price is very good and food is fresh. I do not know why people are complaining so much . People pay little and want 7 star service . The hotel is having some renovation done aswell and I think after this renovation the hotel will even better . Location is very good and yes sometimes the taxi service by hotel is pricy but this is not hotel fault , just haggle with the driver and negotiate a smaller price and be friendly, and next time the driver sees you he will look after you good prices . To be honest I haven’t been to agadir and to my favourite hotel in agadir since February, I m missing agadir and omega team. Omega hotel keep up the good work and see you soon inshallah, I hoping this October 2020 I will be there

Room was basic. Tap water had a salty taste. Some people in our group found the room cold at night. Phone out of order all the week reported it nothing got done. It is a good 20 minutes to the beach. The nearest corner shop is 10 minutes walk. Hotel entrance and reception area very impressive. The rooms are dated and need modernising. It would be helpful if food in dining room is labelled so that guests know what they are eating instead of being told “ turkey chicken”

I stayed at this hotel in December 2019 with few friends for a week. NEVER AGAIN!! RUDE STAFF!! Worst customer experience ever experienced. I was recommend this hotel by one of my friends which regularly visits this hotel but even he has stated customer service has dropped dramatically. Night staff are extremely rude! With poor customer service experience, communication with day management are terrible. Higher management decisions changes without notice and is passed through staff with mix communication. Night shift is badly managed with no experience on how to communicate with customers. Reception staff are grumpy and rude! I had to report problem with heating 3 times until they decided to change rooms twice which also had heating issues on top the awful smell. The following morning I was given another room by the day manager which resolved the issue. Hotel location is terrible with nothing nearby. Yes there are taxi available in front of hotel but they are at a much higher rate. Despite all the issues I had received and reported, on day of checking out I was charged a late checkout fee of 350dh by 1 of the night staff which we was told by day staff we wouldn't or I would have booked it online at a lot cheaper rate. When asked for receipt they refused and stated to ask day staff which he new we were flying out & I did not have time to dispute. I would not recommend this hotel and will strongly advise STAY AWAY unless you want to ruin your holiday! TERRIBLE/RUDE NIGHT SHIFT/STAFF at reception desk!

I stayed at Omega hotel few times now 2019/2020. The hotel staff especially the night staff are rude unhelpful and have no consistency on what they say or promise. When we raised the issues and our concerns to management on numerous occasions they insured they will speak to staff and that never happened also management are really defensive and not bothered at all about your concerns. The hotel start building work at 8am till late which is very disturbing. Rooms are filthy, location is terrible with nothing near by except taxi which charges unrealistic. I would not recommend this hotel to no one keep away & will never return. Not a family friendly hotel at all! In general I travel to Agadir regularly but this hotel made my holiday a nightmare! Customer service from night staff is the worst ever seen or experience! You agreed a term with day staff & management in the day. Then the night staff have no clue about it & don't want to hear what has been said instead they tell you to shutup & go away! Also stated make a complaint if you want! Night staff refuse to give recipe on extra room booking. I will also post videos of the terrible service received from night staff with there aggressive & rude attitude! RIDICULOUS!:( Picture attached of the night staff. Please avoid & share! 😤🤒

Night staff are very rude & unhelpful. No consistency with day staff. When issues raised with management, management are very defensive and don't want to listen to your concerns. Would not recommend at all. Bangin building noise coming from top floors at 9am till late. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Ridiculous!

Brilliant stay, really happy i picked this hotel. I can never understand why people moan so much. you had to stand by a toilet to get a good view from your hotel room? if the view was that important should have booked another hotel. The water price is standard, its a hotel price not like it's 5 pound a bottle. People just moan and moan and want everything for penuts. The staff couldn't do enough for me. I felt safe being a single traveller. They helped me when my foot got sore due to all the walking, They helped me with my suitcases ( i am an independant woman so this was weird for me lol) Food was delicious and cheap too. Was suprised how much a tagine was. For anyone exchanging money especially at the hotel please GET A RECEIPT! I had great difficulty exchanging back to pounds at the banks and cash exchange places because i didn't have a receipt. The hotel doesn't exchange back to pounds either i was very lucky i got my money exchanged back through a man who owned a shop he had excactly what i needed (£140) a few of my tours got cancelled due to a public holiday which is why i had loads left over. I didn't want to risk getting it exchanged at the airport due to the research i did. Seems silly, Morocco is funny about their money leaving their country but its difficult to exchange it back but thankfully i managed. I would suggest this hotel. there is a night club about less than a minute away it wasn't loud when i was there. The hotel is in a developing area so i liked the fact it was peaceful around (it was much needed) yet close walking distance to a beach. Worth a stay if you're on a budget ( I was on a tight budget but had no problem paying at the hotel, water, food ect )

We checked in to omega hotel on a Saturday night as we had a later flight. We came in with food from McDonald’s and the receptionist said food from outside isn’t allowed in the hotel room baring in mind we arrived at the hotel at around 11pm. The room was the first disappointment as the view from the window is landscapes of gravel and dirt and other unfinished buildings in the making and the WiFi di not connected in our room, unless we stood directly in front of the toilets. How disgusting! The hotel only has one restaurant where the food is around a 2/5. The buffet style breakfast showcased the same food every morning. The lunch would start off with the same horrible starter, a soggy salad. For full board, no drinks were included in any of the meals and therefore was an additional rip off charge where a simple bottle of water cost 15dirhams. Didn’t make sense because there’s a shop down the road which sells everything the hotel does and more for almost half of the price if not less. Cleaners have a major attitude problem and do not clean rooms properly. Not only are they rude but they do not give you clean towels even when you ask but they fold up your old ones and lie and say that they are new when they are NOT! Majority of the staff do not speak English and was a bit of an inconvenience speaking to them and asking for stuff. On more a positive note, the security guard at entrance of the hotel named ‘Mahdi’ is very helpful and cheerful and made our stay somewhat bearable.

Just was in hotel two nights. Rate it very poor no tv power, intermittent water from on to off in morning. Bad overall service communication. So that you know restaurant water (drinks)is extra at most Moroccan hotel restaurants with meal or plans. My air conditioner only could be lowered to 22 degrees.

The hotel is horrible.carpet was nastyyyyy.i had to pay 10% which I was not noted at the website.and there is no free wifi because I wasn’t working at all.air condition was old and not working and thank have video of it .too much noise from the club .shower was nasty .i wouldn’t recomand this hotel to anybody for the price.i had to check out and go to an other hotel .the hotel had is nothing like it looked on the website.the lobby looks nice but once you walk in to the room it s a disaster and there is no free parking because everytime you leave the hotel you have to pay .it s not a 3 star hotel it s a 1 star hotel.this is the worst experience everrrr.

Standard rooms with spacious bathrooms. Location of the hotel is ok for anyone wishing to walk to the beach. A few shops and a big supermarket nearby. Majority of staff are helpful and pleasant. Food is good but should be labelled. Buffet lights often switched off while customers around. Restaurant needs more customer service orientation. Lack of water for half board customers at dinner seems desperate, yet no orders for drinks are taken. The place has potential but it’s run a bit as it was 1979...nicely decorated reception area is mostly left dark, most public areas seem soulless and abandoned. A 3-star claim (4 on the roof of the property) deserves it 2 until further (and much needed) service-provision improvement. Lastly, beware of the red taxi driver Abdoullah, registration 86583 33, taxi 469 who often parks outside the hotel. Highly unreliable and can’t be trusted.

I'm working in Saudi Tourism and Antiquities Authority my experience in this hotel : It has been booked for five times the longest 29 days Hotel Staff are very good Staffs and very friendly with out Manager of hotel behind the reception, his very tuff with staff and Castamere also, I think the rooms need more cleaning, especially the use of famous cleaning materials for Bactera or other diseases. We arrived late in the evening and was welcomed by the most brilliant front of desk customer service assistant (Mohammed). He was vary nice and well spoken, he quickly got our bags and room ready. The room we stayed at didn't have a balcony however the view from our window was exquisite. The one thing that I didn't really like was the blue bulbs in the lift which made it look like a night club every time we used it, and was vary dark. All the staff at Omega Hotel are super nice and I actually felt bad leaving them all behind after our one week stay. The hotel wifi also doesn't work properly in the room we stayed in but to be honest we didn't really need it, it does however works everywhere else inside and just outside the hotel. The hotel has a night club just next to it and it is vary loud until about 1am- 1.30am. The area doesn't have may shops near it so if you need to pop out to get something in the night or day it can become a problem. There are cabs always waiting outside to rip you off, so if you do need a ride somewhere then use one of the many frequent cabs which drive past the hotel every 5/10 minutes. The hotel does have room service and it is available all night. The hotel is vary clean and was actually recommended to us by my wife's friend who stayed there before. The area is becoming more developed and their are lots of nice apartments being built so hopefully should lead to more shops around the area.

Hotel taken my phone, and after contacting the hotel they are like we do not have ur phone, as i forgot it in my room, and realised after i checked out.

To begin with the check in took absolutely ages as aparantly they had never had our reservation on the system, and thereafter they demanded us to pay room taxes at check which was bizzare, the manager was extremely rude and needs some training in customer service The main reason for such negative feedback is the room smelt like damp, the water for the shower never got hot and remained just warm, and the worst part of it was the banging music till late night... And the buffet breakfast Was not even worth waking up for, i am extremely dissapointed with my stay at omega, The location of the hotel was also really bad with a long walk to the beach and a walk to find taxis, i do not recommend this hotel, and regret ever booking it.. Please dont make the same mistake as me....

They did not clean the rooms the first Day and we did not get babybed.Our 8 month baby had to sleep on the floor.

The hotel itself was very clean and most of the staff very friendly. Wifi was not available in all the rooms as advertised it only worked in the lobby area. Breakfast was terrible, the variety and quality very poor, I am not sure why they would call it a buffet. The beach is not close to the hotel, its about a 15 minute walk and there is no private beach, just a small area with free sun loungers to use. The description of the hotel is deceiving and for this reason I would not advise people to book it.
