The staff are amazing. We loved them - so friendly, personable and helpful to all of our needs. They really truly took care of us. I lost my phone on a tour bus and one of the staff receptionists phoned the company for me and arranged to get my phone returned to me. We enjoyed the spa experiences and the hammam (word of warning, their spa therapists mostly only speak Arabic so very little French or English so communication took longer but we eventually got there!) I went with my friend and I had booked a room that was advertised as having a double and a single bed (The Design Suite). Unfortunately, my friend was mistaken for my partner, so the room's arrangement had only 1 bed. But, the staff adapted and gave us a spare room for the first night and then the single bed was set up in our room the next day so we got to have our own beds and avoid awkward bed-sharing! So I truly think the staff were wonderful in meeting our needs and making our stay as splendid as possible. You can request free Moroccan mint tea whenever you like and staff are always around. The room was spacious, balcony area was gorgeous.

Cons: The jacuzzi is only around 30-32 degrees which I think is too cold - I'm used to hot tubs being between 37-40 degrees. I wasn't able to be inside it for very long before I got too cold. The location is a little out of the Medina's main square - a 12 minute walk. It's also a 12 minute walk from the nearest ATM. The sinks in the Design Suite are 'Moroccan style' i.e. very high up taps that hover over the sink which is a small bowl, which is a little inconvenient to wash your face in.

The location is in a quieter area of the Medina but within walking distance of the square. We only stayed one night to experience a Riad. We enjoyed the stay and made use of the pool and spacious roof terrace. We also had dinner which was fresh and well made and we enjoyed the experience. Host and staff were friendly.

Cons: The toilet in the design room can be viewed from the inner courtyard at night ( should consider an alternative blind).

It was a great location if you are after more of a local experience. It is at the end of the Medina market place. The riad was a great place to retreat to after a hot and hectic day at the market. The parking is close by for 9euro a day. The GPS and google map will take you right to the accommodation. Avoid this as it is scooter territory and not much room for a vehicle. Google map to 'parking sidi Ayoub'. The accommodation is about 250m walk from here. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. Try the local street food near the car park. We had a great experience with the locals.

Cons: We had the in-house massage. That wasn't so great. We were left alone at the end for a long time. There are better massages in the heart of the Medina.

Beautiful property with friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond. Breakfast is filling and served in their lovely inner courtyard. We made good use of the roof terrace and sun loungers (the pool was also great to have of course). I made use of their hammam too - reasonably priced and good service. I’m surprised by the comments from people complaining about the location… how lazy do you have to be to be unable to walk 15-20 minutes…?! Appreciate some people have mobility issues, but it really shouldn’t be a problem for most.

We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel in Marrakech. If you’re looking for a peaceful and quaint riad, Bellamane is the place to go. Its location may not be the most central, but we actually loved the area and the shops around as they were cheaper and more authentic than those in the souk. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was the Antiquare suite, which was spatious, comfortable and nicely decorated. We booked a hammam treatment in the riad’s spa and enjoyed every second of it. I would highly recommend staying here to make your stay even more memorable!

Cons: Some of the decorations of our room collected a bit of dust. Perhaps it’d be better to remove them. Wifi was quite slow.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riad. The atmosphere was peaceful and charming, with lovely traditional design throughout the space. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed and offering great recommendations. The breakfast was very good — fresh, tasty, and a perfect way to start the day. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech. It’s a great combination of comfort, hospitality, and authentic Moroccan charm.

Traditional riad. Very clean, amazing staff, good proximity to touristic area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful classic riad with a beautiful pool filling one entire side courtyard on the ground floor. Everything very peacefully decorated. Transfer from airport to the hotel worked well. Lovely spacious rooms. Nicest are probably on the first floor. The roof terrace was closed for the winter but looked as if it too would be lovely in warmer weather. Great that you could eat at the hotel if you didn't want to venture out ie if arriving late the first night. Breakfast is nice but doesn't vary so if you're staying more than a few days you might decide to seek greater variation somewhere in the centre. The location is more of a local moroccan residential area than a tourist hang out though there are some other hotels nearby. Therefore unless you are happy walking (i was) for 15 to 25 minutes every day before you reach the main tourist spots / souks/ cafes and restaurants you might want to factor in getting a tuk tuk to or from the main areas. The hotel can provide a tel number to call.

Cons: The property itself and the staff were absolutely lovely and as described in the blurb and online comments. Recommend getting a local sim card so you can pin its location to find more easily after a day sightseeing. Not difficult to refind but the streets look a bit different when the shops have closed up in the evening and youre heading back in the evening. It is a bit further away from the tourist action areas of the medina if you have time constraints, but if you are able bodied and curious to see more of local daily life in marrakesh the walk to and from the tourist areas gives a good glimpse of this that is less apparent closer in.

This was a marvelous stay with wife, daughter and boyfriend (from my daughter...). It started with the Taxi arrangement at the airport (on time), invitational welcome tea and early check-in into the two rooms we had booked. First dinner we had at the RIAd which was really great homecooking, better than in some of the other restaurants! Service was always impeccable, massages and haram could be booked at quite short notice, and at night Mohammed was a great advisor on the pool table, as none of us could really do this.

Cons: There is no TV in the rooms, which was for us, actually not required.

The Riad and the facilities in it were perfect and clean; the staff were amazing, ready to help with everything and anything we asked; and the Hammam/massage experience was great value.

Cons: The location isn’t great (15 mins from the centre but through some dodgy roads when they're dark) but we knew this when booking the property and I think it's fairly reflected in the very reasonable cost of staying here. The staff were able to book us Tuk Tuks whenever we needed though and they gave us the phone number to organise lifts back as well (they’re fun to ride in!) so it’s only actually an issue if you 100% want to walk back late in the evening when it’s dark.

The staff! So friendly, polite, helpful, knowledgeable - and always with a smile :) The breakfast/dining area (with the beautiful birds 🐦) . We loved the rooftop for sunbathing. Ali the tuk tuk driver & the very simple ease of being able to take a tuk tuk or taxi. Also, how the staff will arrange any excursions/trips. The spa & full hammam/massage/facial experience - the girls were fabulous! We also loved being able to buy the beautifully bottled products.

Cons: The shampoo was not great (the shower gel and body lotion were good). No shower caps. No fridge.

This riad is special for its spaciousness, very nice pool, yeard and terrace. I really enjoyed sun bathing in the terrace and a little swim in the pool. The best tea I had during my holiday was in this riad. Breakfast as well as the dinner were delicious. All the stuff was very friendly, helpful and respectful.

Cons: The room I stayed in was in the ground floor, generally it didn't feel very clean and the bath tube needs urgently a deep clean and renovation. I had a treatment in the hammam which was a complete disappointment. First of all the hamam is not warm and humid enough. I was left only 5 mins in the hamamm before my skin was scrubbed. Due to this short time all the treatment was not really effective and also my skin got irritated by extreme pressure on my skin. The hamam would also need a renovation, it doesn not reflect the category of the riad. I also had a massage and I will only sum up my experience as not good. Overall there is all the time noise coming from the corridor, people randomly opening the door and even the therapist left the door open. Despite all the bad experience I have to say that all the stuff working in the spa was very friendly and polite.

Beautiful Riad very quiet and peaceful. The evening meal was very good. Fatima was especially helpful

Cons: The location is a lot further from the Souke than we thought and the walk is not the best. The Riad wanted paying for trips and drinks etc in cash (preferably Euros) which is irritating. The only cash machines are in the Souke and there is always a wait. Then you have to change the local currency into Euros. In all not a good experience

Beautiful Riad with spacious room and comfy beds, parking closeby at the Bab Aylan, delicious breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, superb laundry service. We really enjoyed staying there.

Cons: It’s a rather longish walk to the Center of town. And due to the room door being directly next to the kitchen, the kitchen noise especially in the morning and late in the evening could be a bit disturbing. Bathroom has no natural light and this feels a bit dark.

Riad Bellamane is a haven of absolute paradise amongst the chaos of the Medina. The Riad is absolutely beautiful, with the loveliest staff - Gigi, Fatima and Mohammed were all wonderful. The Riad is a little bit out of the busiest parts of the Medina, but is amongst a lovely community, which comes alive in the evening. It is only a 15 min walk to the square, or a 20 min walk or so to North Medina, or tuk tuks are available if you don’t want to walk! I would definitely choose to stay here again for future trips to Marrakech!

Cons: Nothing at all!

Beautiful riad and spacious room. Super friendly and helpful staff - Fatima took care of everything we needed. All the amenities you need - pool, hammam, breakfast, dinner, drinks.

Cons: Location was not great, however, it was our fault not doing the research beforehand. The riad is clearly on the rougher side of the Medina. It was about 15-20 minutes walking to most restaurants, cafes, and attractions but that was a lot in the heat. If you want something like you see in the pictures, stay around the Mouassine area.

Fatima was a great assistance and her team was very helpful. A very pretty ground floor. The room was always clean. Breakfast could be improved. The exclusive spa treatment was great but very expensive.

Cons: stayed for 6 nights. The A/C was not working, Broken and extremely dusty fan was provided upon 3rd request. Poor quality mattress. Located in middle of nowhere, there's lots of walking to do, you can easily get lost. Foot injury due to a very big hazard in the bedroom. : ( ... spoilt my holiday to be fair. Not ideal for a chronic illness patient, as there are lots of stairs to get to your room. And lots of walking to do to get to the centre.

This is a nice riad. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was lovely. The location unfortunately was not the best. It is on the back streets of the city and is too far to walk. You need to book a Tok Tok which the staff we call for you. It is an easy system and the driver will come at an appointed time to pick up and return to the riad. The downside is the additional cost and inconvenience. At no time did we feel unsafe.

The place is beautiful, very nice interior patio. Staff were friendly and kind. The Hammam was lovely, we booked one of the services and we really enjoyed it. Large breakfast that was very good. Big room and nice double shower. Nice assortment of Shampoo and shower gel. Professional hair dryer.

Cons: The bathroom had a bad drain smell, this is something they should take better care of. The staff were very friendly but we were a little confused when Mohammed introduced us to his "friend who had a rug shop just round the corner", who he said would help us find a rug. This person turned out to be just a guy who knew nothing and was paid to take us to a tourist trap (a 25 minutes walk away). When we left he asked us to pay him for the privelege. ALSO: Throughout our whole trip every place told us we could pay in dirhams or euro, dividing by 10, eg. 50 dirhams or 5 euro. This place, however, gave us all the prices in euro (why, when nobody uses euros in Morocco? Great question), and then when we paid the bill they converted back into dirhams, so 160 euro ended up being 1800 dirhams. This seemed a little cheeky.

Nice property, well maintained, beautiful terrace. Breakfast was good but all the same every day.

Cons: Hammam treatment was horrible, very unprofessional and really unpleasant. Lights were glitching in the room. On the last day we had to leave the hotel early in the morning and staff member nicely suggested us to bring breakfast in the room, but apparently they forgot… Taxi transfer €30 eur charged by hotel is ridiculously expensive for 15 mins ride.

I came here for my birthday and they have surprised me with a cake and a beautiful gift. Beautiful Riad!! Everything was perfect in this quiet oasis. The Riad is beautifully decorated, spotless and comfortably furnished. The staff are lovely and attentive, the room is beautiful and has everything you need. Breakfast is delicious and served in the lovely courtyard (great coffee!!). The Riad also has lovely nooks and crannies with lounge beds, a small pool and rooftop seats. The location is also wonderful..the side alley is nice and quiet, while you are within a 15-20 minute walk of various attractions. I highly recommend Bellamane!

As beautiful and romantic as the riad was, the staff (Muhammad and Fatima) elevated it to another level rarely experienced in any hotel. They were extremely kind, professional, and helpful, and whenever we returned to the riad, they welcomed us with great warmth. The riad features a very nice and cozy spa area and a rooftop where we sunbathed almost every day with a bottle of fine Moroccan wine. The room we stayed in was decorated in an African style with authentic vintage ornaments. Every corner of the room tells an African story. When looked at altogether, it felt like we were staying in a museum.

Cons: Breakfast could be a little better. Very limited selection, only eggs, jam, honey, and pancakes.

I travelled to Marrakech with my 18 years old son in December and we stayed in Bellamane Riad for 9 nights. Great location in the heart of Medina - gives you a quick access to all the attractions in the old city. It is a traditional Riad - meaning, despite being located in a busy quarter, its a quite place (you can not hear the street noise at all due to the way its built and this is the major difference vs hotels). Once you are inside the riad, in the courtyard - its like you are on the island. The only sound you hear its birds singing. Riad has a roof terrace set up in a way that several couches placed to allow you to enjoy a sunrise and a sunset. There is an outdoors swimming pool in the riad (we were not brave enough to try it out, due to the season) The staff was very caring, attentive and made us feel at home. We have interacted a lot with Hadija and Mohammed and I can not be grateful enough for the experience they helped us to have. Breakfast was good, freshly made every morning. Gave a flavor of the traditional start of the day in this part of the country. Highly recommend to try out the traditional dinner cooked by Leyla - needs to be pre-ordered before 11 am on the same day. Room was spacious and nicely furnished in traditional style. Spa experience was great: I tried a 2 hours package with hammam and massage and it was amazing. Overall, great value for money.

Cons: Can not think of anything.

From the moment our group stepped into the magical haven of Riad Bellemane, we were enveloped in a symphony of warm hues and the intoxicating fragrance of blooming jasmine. This place is a true embodiment of Marrakesh's rich heritage combined with modern elegance, making every nook a delightful discovery. Our stay was marked by an unforeseen event, an earthquake that could have easily turned our joyful trip into a distressing experience. Yet, the Riad Bellemane's team rose to the occasion with an awe-inspiring blend of strength, warmth, and genuine care. As a group, we were profoundly touched by their swift and coordinated efforts to ensure everyone's safety. Their nurturing presence was like a comforting embrace in the face of adversity, a beacon of light guiding us through uncertainty. Not only did they manage the situation with utmost professionalism, but they also went the extra mile to foster a sense of camaraderie among the guests. It was a vivid demonstration of the age-old Moroccan tradition of hospitality, where guests are treated as valued members of a close-knit family. Throughout our stay, we were treated to gastronomic delights that danced on our palates, a culinary journey that brought us together as we shared laughter and stories around the elegantly laid tables. Every meal was a celebration, a delightful affair that nourished both our bodies and souls. As a group, we unanimously agree that our stay at Riad Bellemane transcended the boundaries of a typical hotel experience. It was a vibrant tapestry of beautiful moments, woven with threads of kindness, resilience, and unity. It became a home away from home, where we forged unforgettable memories as a cohesive group, bonded by the extraordinary hospitality extended to us. We left Riad Bellemane with our hearts brimming with gratitude and a deep-seated sense of connection.

Very beautiful Riad and well decorated with large and spacious room (Berber Suite) for the 3 of us. The bathroom amenities are excellent. The grounds are very clean and with a small pool, which we didn’t use. Located about 20 minute walk from the centre. You will need to walk about 10 minutes to get a taxi, otherwise the Riad will call you a Tok Tok with pre-arranged excessive pricing from a certain driver (Mr. Ali). Taxis are a bit of a challenge in Marrakesh however all Petit Taxis have meters. Now with some observations during our 4 nights of stay: The toilet was separated from the shower and sink in its own little room (very uncomfortable). Room lighting was weak during day and night and the view from the room window was overlooking out to a rooftop filled with old shoes.

Cons: My complains are with the limited BKFST options. First morning we noticed that another table were brought some eggs which we were not offered, same 2nd day then when we asked for eggs they were served!!! Third day we were in a rush to leave around 8:15 and when we told the gentlemen serving us we have to expedite as we have to go his reply was to get them to wait!!! Last day we were leaving early and asked if we an have coffee at 7:30 instBeaead of the 8:00 and were told they will give us some coffee to make, cake, etc.. from the evening which we can have in the room in the morning. Sounded great. We got 3 extra ripe bananas and very stale croissant. See the photo. I don't understand why ruin such a wonderful place with this kind of service for BKFST and attitude from the gentlemen. Maybe because we decided to book our own tours and not go through him.

The riad is fantastic. You will have at your disposal a wonderful pool and terraces to relax. The best are Mohamed and Hitcham. They are very friendly and will make you feel at home. Anything you need they will gladly help you. We arrived late at night and she made us tea and biscuits. They are fantastic. Thanks for everything. Riad easy to find. It has a transfer to the airport at a good price.

Cons: I think that for the price perhaps there could be more variety at breakfast. Some pastries and something more salty. It was also good like other riads, they prepare it with love every morning. Maybe I miss a small fridge in the room The ground floor suite leads directly to the breakfast area so you will have to close everything for privacy and you will hear people having breakfast in the morning. The bathroom has no ventilation, you will feel humidity in it. (As in most of all riads)I recommend choosing rooms on the top floor.

The hospitality and friendliness of the staff at Riad Bellamane made our visit so special. We felt so welcomed into this beautiful, serene haven. A special thank you for the support of staff in helping us print out boarding passes, remembering our hot water every morning for tea, and helping us with airport transfers and transfers to tourist attractions. We particularly enjoyed the sun terrace and the pool at this Riad, which both provided a welcome rest from the busy-ness of Marrakech. We didn't have time to use the impressive Hammam but will do so next time we visit. The rooms were spacious, air conditioned, beautiful and spotless. We can't wait to return here!

The riad was not exactly what we excepted but there were some things that compensated: the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious. The spa treatments were fabulous and the prices very decent.

Cons: The riad was located in an extremely dirty and crowded area (it itself was situated on a side street), quite far from Medina (10 minutes by tuck-tuck) and for this reason walking to the Medina area was to be avoided. The Riad needs some modernisation works to make it competitive. But this is reflected in the relatively low price charged for the accommodation. Breakfast is extremely simple, unvaried.

The Riad is beautiful and staff, Henan and Mohammad, were really fantastic - they couldn’t do enough for us. The dinners we had at the Riad were the best we had in Marrakesh. The pool is very welcome after a long hectic day walking and the place is a lovely calm haven.

Cons: The location is VERY hard to find and we got lost many times before we gave up and used Google Maps! The breakfast was very good, and the staff was really keen to add whatever you'd like (say: a omelette). The pool is one of the biggest we saw in marrakesh riad and is a major point for staying there. The staff was working 24/7, ready for everything we were in need at the moment. A majpr plus is that they will reply fast to our messages here on booking.

Cons: The riad is maybe a little bit far from the major square (a good 5 min additional walking time compared to other riads) but that is a plus point if you love to walk in marrakesh as much as we did.
