Hot water worked well.

Cons: The transfer service the hotel works with is completely unreliable and did not come to pick us up. We waited an hour at the train station while the driver (via WhatsApp) claimed to be stuck in traffic. We should have just found the city bus ourselves which is what we ended up doing. Cheaper and more reliable. Our stay at the hotel itself was fine, but they have no business offering transfers at €15 that do not arrive and did not compensate us for our wasted time.

Posizione strategica a 2 passi dalla piazza centrale e Medina. Riad curato.

This riad is very welcoming, specially our host Sir Yunis, he gave us a briefing of what we can explore and see via map. This is very helpful. All the staff is very accomodating. They even taught me how to pour tea the morrocon way..❤️❤️❤️ Breakfast is somehow the same everyday but it was very filling and the homemade yogurt is amazing!!!! Room, the size is good for 2. Very spacious. Although the theme of our room was a bit dark, but it didn't matter because we are outside most days. Bed for me is comfortable. Looks dated but it is a riad afterall. There is a hot water in the shower. Ambiance of the riad is very relaxing. What you see is what you get from the photos as per advertised. Location, it is a bit far from the main road and a bit confusing finding it for the first time, we just got lucky because one of the locals helped us find it..(it would help if there was a proper signage) However, this riad is in the best place since its walkable to everywhere, the palace, kutubia, souks and markets. Also, if you have tours, just tell them ur at riad sidi minoune and they will collect and drop you off at the arch. Distance to airport, you can take bus from airport to kutubia and then walk to the riad. Which is very near and only costs about 30dir each person per way. Safety, there were guards near the arch. So you will feel safer. Moneys worth.. its worth it specially if you plan to spend time outside and explore the medina. Are we staying again? Its a definite yes!!

Cons: The pool is not heated. Which makes it very inaccessible at night when you want to relax and stay indoors. There was no entertainment in the room and the TV is not working 😂 at the lounge. The spa room is cold, it would be handy if they warm it up 1st before using.

Cons: The riad itself was nice, but I had a really unpleasant experience when paying the city taxes. The man at the reception first tried to charge me more than what was due, and then deliberately gave me the wrong change. It wasn’t about the small amount of money, but about the fact that he clearly tried to trick me, even after I pointed it out. He kept pretending to be confused, and in the end, I just left because I was running late — but it really left a bad impression.

Our stay at Sidi Mimoune Riad was wonderful! The riad is beautiful, peaceful, and very well located — close enough to walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa, but still quiet. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the dinner we had there was delicious. The real highlight was the staff. Aziz was exceptional – always kind, helpful, and ready to make sure we had everything we needed. Thanks to him and the rest of the team, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. That was my second time in Marrakech. The first time, I had a really bad experience with a Riad, but I’m so happy I gave this one a chance. When I arrived, the staff welcomed me with a large teapot and some biscuits. They helped me with my bag, printed out my bus tickets, always asked about my day, and were incredibly friendly. I’d like to say a special thank you to Abderrahim (I hope you get to take your dream trip to Switzerland!), Aicha, and the other gentleman who checked me in. You really made my stay great! Thank you! I also loved how much they care about cats—I even had breakfast with one of them! By the way, the breakfast was huge. The only thing I missed was the local peanut butter. I lovdd the room with the lantern lamp and the lot of extra blankets (more than in the pic) ! They can be handy due the typical hard Moroccan bed and the coldness of Riad. But ofc, Ac could warm up the room. Every rooms door got a name after different part of Morocco. That is a really nice gesture.

Cons: The lack of soundproofing and the guests who were screaming... Please, respect each other! Maybe get some handwash liquid, instead of the soap. The bathroom was cold.

A wonderfully authentic and comfortable stay. The staff are extremely friendly and the Riad itself is great. Good facilities for a small place (hamam, spa and pool). The interior looks very nice and breakfast was was great. It's close enough to walk to anything in the centre. Would definitely stay here again

Cons: Double bed was 2 single beds together so less comfortable for a couple and you need to notify them if you want dinner in the morning so they can prepare in advance which makes sense but less convenient if plans change during the day

Our stay at Sidi Mimoune Riad was an absolute delight, and it was the exceptional staff that truly made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to ensure that we felt welcomed and well cared for. Aicha was incredibly kind, offering helpful advice on things to do around Marrakesh, while Abu was always attentive, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. Mamoud’s warmth and cheerful personality made every interaction feel like we were truly guests in their home. We had requested a quiet room, and the team thoughtfully arranged for us to stay in a spacious, peaceful room. It was the perfect escape after a day exploring the vibrant city. The Riad itself is beautifully designed with traditional Moroccan touches, creating a tranquil oasis in the heart of Marrakesh. The location couldn’t be better: just a short 15-20 minute walk to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa and other key attractions, yet far enough to avoid the noise and crowds, allowing for a peaceful retreat. We also had dinner at the Riad, and it was absolutely delicious. The couscous with chicken and vegetables was perfectly cooked and offered a generous portion, ideal for two. One of the standout features of Sidi Mimoune Riad is its perfect balance of cost and value. The level of comfort, service, and attention to detail we experienced felt far beyond what we expected for the price. It's truly excellent value for money — especially considering the location, the beauty of the Riad, and the remarkable staff. From the warm welcome with Moroccan tea and faqqas to the thoughtful service throughout our stay, everything about our time at Sidi Mimoune was exceptional. We can’t recommend this Riad enough. Five stars all the way!

- The staff are what made the stay at the Riad worth it. Aicha and Abderrahim were incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. We asked for a quiet room and were given a larger room on the top floor to be away from the kitchen’s morning bustle. - The Riad is quite beautiful and very well located on walking distance (15-20min) from all the main historical sites and markets (especially jamaa elfna) but far enough to not be bothered by the sounds. - We had dinner at the hotel (couscous with chicken and veggies) and it was absolutely delicious and a well-sized portion for two. - The welcome with Moroccan tea and faqqas was very nice too!

Cons: - you can’t sleep without AC in Marrakesh but it was very loud. Replacing it with a quieter version would be an easy fix and make a world of a difference.

I could not fault Riad Sidi Mimoune. The riad is impeccably presented and our room was spacious and comfortable. Property is well located for seeing the sites and visiting the medina. Cheap, secure parking is available just a short walk away too. The added bonus of having a hammam on site is great and so reasonably priced too! Wonderful and friendly, helpful staff. Great hamman Spa and massage Excellent breakfast and we had one delicious dinner. Lovely traditional style Riad and the beds were so comfortable .

Cons: Location at end of back streets only accessible by foot for part of the way maybe 5/10 mins walk from a taxi . Medina is a good 20mins walk.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they gave us very detailed information about Marrakesh, like the main tourist attractions, the transport, the activities and so on. They also offered good dinner.

Cons: It would be better if the rooms could be cleaner.

The property was beautiful and very authentic. Main attractions were reasonably short walks (20 minutes) which is perfect as you get to explore more of the city. The hosts were very kind and ayesha (reception lady) was very helpful giving us a great guide and made our stay much better! We will be coming back.

Great staff - Younis and Aicha were lovely to deal with, the rest of the staff was also very nice. The riad was super cute, the rooms were clean and the location was in the heart of the Medina!

Cons: The breakfast (except for the juice!) was a bit meh. Not the worst problem for me and my wife but there were big decorative holes in the bathroom that made any sounds or noises coming from the bathroom very obvious to the other person in the room haha!

The breakfast is very good, there is one or two hot options (egg and pastry) that is rotated each day but there are some staple items such as bread and dips provided each day. Some of the options included freshly baked croissant, freshly baked pain au chocolat, crepes, as well a traditional Msemmen. We asked on the day if they could prepare a vegetarian dinner later for when we arrived which they did and it was really convenient for us as we hadn't quite got our bearings of Marakech and didn't want to find somewhere to eat so late at night! As the hotel wasn't very busy, they gave us a better room for the first few nights of our stay but we did have to move to another room which was great. The rooms we stayed in were fantastic and seem typical of a riad. It is quite noisy if you are trying to sleep and other guests are sitting in the courtyard as it is very echoey, but there is virtually no noise at night from the medina or the roads. The rooms are quite cosy but well decorated. Bathroom was clean and shower worked great (took a while to get warm!). There is also air conditioning and we used this to heat the room a little bit as we visited at the end of November. Location is perfect and you can practically walk within the medina - It's only around 10/15-minute walk to Jemaa El Fna and many restaurants are available 8-minute walk towards the square. There are also lots of small shops nearby that sell snacks and water at local prices. The hotel staff were also very kind to provide us with an early breakfast as we had to leave for a day excursion, we needed to leave at 6am so they provided some cake and coffee for us at 5.45 am! We had to do this twice during our time and they were very accommodating. Main breakfast with hot options is only served between 8am and 10am but usually freshly made if you get there between 8 and 8.45.

Cons: It was a bit chaotic upon check in and arrival. It wasn't too difficult to find the hotel but be warned that there are lots of scammers offering to take you to the hotel from the nearest taxi drop off location and they will pounce on you when they see you carrying luggage. The signage to the hotel along the route was difficult to read in the daytime let alone night time so this could be better. We ended up taking the wrong right turn (it is the second right turn after the mosque!) as Google Maps isn't quite correct as it takes you to the back of the hotel. There was only one member of staff trying to check in 4-5 different groups at the same time, as well as being the only waiter serving dinner that evening. We had to wait around 45 minutes (we were starving and tired!) until we were seen to but he did provide us with some tea and biscuits. It is a shame as we did arrive right within the time window stated. Customer service could be a little better, the staff member who checked us in and looked after us for the majority of the time did seem grumpy and stressed a lot of the time and he did tell us that he hated his job. It might be because he had only been working for a couple of weeks but doesn't seem cut out to work in the tourism industry! The manager however was very friendly and when we saw her she always asked us how we were enjoying our stay and what we got up to! Cost of dinner was quite pricey - around 25 euros per person, but that was to be expected for a hotel! Dinner was okay but not the best food we had in Marakech.

Typical Riad basically located in medina. If you search the real Morocco experience, here it is.

Cons: Biggest problem was that there was no air in room :( Windows opened to courtyard which was covered on top with plastic. Bed (basically mattress) was too little for 2, lock box did not work, no correct lock for room (simplest padlock is used). Did not feel safe. Also very far from any soundproof (1 night there was disco music until 3 in the night, you can hear others in their rooms and dining room activities very clearly etc). Very little room. We wouldn't consider it as 4-star

The staff is absolutely amazing in this Riad. Aichi and Mohammed but also the women who clean the rooms really go the extra mile to ensure you have a fabulous stay in the Riad and Marrakesh. The facilities are good but it is really the staff who make the difference. The internet works very well!

Cons: I found the Riad quite expensive (perhaps not more expensive than comparable ones but that I do not know). If that translates into good salaries for the staff than fine but given that hotel staff in Morocco earn rather little, then I am not quite sure why the price is so steep. Entry to the spa facilities/Hammam is not included.

This was our last stop on a 7 day roadtrip trough Marokko. We booked the Hamam session and really enjoyed it. They offered us a traditional meal and it was the best Tajine of our vacation. Many thanks to the whole staff! They were very helpful with everything and made us feel very welcome. They also organized a great new years dinner at the riad with music and dance. The riad itself is a little hidden in the old town through alleys but we never felt uncomfortable walking even at night. In 15 Min. you reach the Jamaa el Fna Square.

Cons: beds were too hard for our taste and because we travelled end of December and there was no heating in the room it was colder than we expected. But we stayed out all day every day so it did not matter that much.

The property offers a truly local, Riad experience . It is pretty short walk from the Saadian Tombs. The rooms and the common areas in the Riad are clean & beautifully decorated. Two levels of terrace offer nice areas to relax, lounge or talk. For us, the best part was the hospitality of the the staff, Ayesha & Mohammad; theywere very friendly & hospitable, taking care of all our needs, answering our questions patiently & making sure we felt at home. The meals we had there were delicious, some of the best we had in Morocco.

Cons: The rooms are not very soundproof, the sound of people in the courtyard can be heard in the room ( higher floor rooms on the left wing may be better in this regard). Electric outlets & other amenities were just adequate. The paths leading up to the Riad are too narrow for taxis & required walking with the luggage.

Our stay at Riad Sidi Mimoune was amazing! We were welcomed by Aicha with a delicious cup of Moroccan tea & homemade cookies. The whole Riad Team were truly lovely and helpful as they shared with us many tips on what to see in Marrakesh, where to buy good quality spices and Argan oil as well as many tips on hiking trips. Mohammed also shared with us some local tips and taught us a few words in Arabic! 😊 it’s worth mentioning the Hammam & massage experience too that was extraordinary and really good! thank you for making our stay so nice Aicha, Mohammed and the rest of your Team! If we ever have a chance, we will definitely get back! Fully recommend it! ✨

You got a real "I'm in Morocco" feel. The ambiance, especially lighting was gorgeous. I got the Moroccan welcome from Aicha as I checked in, royal tea with biscotti, so refreshing. I'd never seen tea poured this way or in a glass though hot. My room had colored glass windows that opened to the inner courtyard. It was quaint, which was great for someone who came to SEE Marrakech...no TV, but good WiFi, so laptop life was on point as I also had work to work on. I always travel with "world" adapter, so if from USA, the electrical outlets are European. The doors are old world and added to the vibe. The pool in the courtyard is deep enough for a swim, but it's not heated, so unless you're a member of the polar bear club, going beyond a toe, is a no, in November at least, summer might be better. Breakfast was included but because I left early for excursions, not sure what the full fare is like. Mohammed did have a simple breakfast with bread(amazing, I had 3 different kinds during my 2 night stay), eggplant Moroccan style, fresh fruit, even at 6:30AM. Dinner was delicious the 1 night I was in by 8pm. The managers, Aicha, Mohammed, and Majin, were very welcoming, and accommodating, and for me, spoke English, (my French is blah). They of course speak French and Arabic as well. The other staff were very pleasant, esp the ones who did the Hammam (spa). If you are use to luxe spas, and not opened mind, this is not for you. Everyone else, the Argan oil rub down and scrub down is "like grandma when you tried to come in the house looking like Swamp thing". I think even my cellulite hit the road. The massage after the bath was everything..I so feel asleep, but was glowing and refreshed for my flight to Casablanca.

Cons: There wasn't anything for me I didn't like. I would suggest, having a price list for meals and additional services in perhaps a brochure or little booklet.

This Riad was a pleasant surprise. The moment we opened the door the staff was so warm and welcoming, especially Aicha. The staff knew everyone our name and used to sit and chat with us (giving us a lot of suggestions regarding Marrakech sightseeing). At first glance, the walk to the Riad could appear a bit dispersive, but at the same moment safe (few alleys in and very well lit at night). We walked everywhere and even came back at midnight without any problem. Our rooms were greats, the breakfast was basically the same everyday, but a good breakfast overall. In conclusion, we would suggest to stay here as the staff is lovely and the price is right!

The Riad is just 10 mins walk from the main square but isolated enough not to be immersed in the ever-going buzz of the city, a good compromise to boh have easy access to main attractions and have some good rest at night. The amenities are exactly as described in the website. Our favourite part was the staff, so welcoming, kind and available to meet any requests of ours, including the organisation of a three days excursion to the desert. Aisha is a gem of a structure manager, totally recommend and would definitely come back.
